me and say that show yourself isnot a queer anthem is wrong. It
is so powerful and so amazing.I've been performing that song all month and
I get stied every time I thinkabout it, because it's just so wonderful.
It's not being true to who youare. My outfit is from Pro

(03:07):
Costplay. I absolutely love Pro Costplay. My hair is a bit of a
story. It is originally from WebsterWigs. I had it styled by the
incredible Ariana Autumn, although there wasa bit of a mishap with it,
so it's not styled the way itwas originally done. This side has pretty
much stayed the same, but thetop of it lost some volume, but

(03:29):
I rebrushed it and I kind ofdig it. So there we are.
My makeup is by Morphy this eveningalso a little bit of wet and Wild
diz on here. I've actually gottennew bronzers from Morphy as well. I
really enjoyed them. They're nice, they're soft. They just they kissed the
skin to I don't know what thatwas. I was not paid to say

drag makeovers. Myself, Amethyst andAnastasia are going to turn them into amazing
drag queens, but something I challengethe two of them with. They have
to choose which parts of our facesthey want, So they might have Anastasia's
eyes and Amethyst's lips, or theymight have my eyes with Anastasia's lips.

(05:40):
It's gonna be It's gonna be chaos, and I'm so ready for it.

some of the brown parts up hererather than her neck, um, and
all throughout the red cape as well. But you might not be able to

who am I? I'm just asimple hometown queen from northeastern Pennsylvania who is

(15:46):
making a difference in many, many, many many different ways. If you're
unsure how, just look me up. You'll see what am I wearing?
What am I wearing? So thishair if you can't hell, there's a
same tonight Arianna Autumn. I absolutelyhave them. My best Judy. They
created this hair and I was like, I must have it. So you

(16:07):
need to look up that because shedoes amazing work. This jewelry is my
number one, in favorite and onlybest jeweler. Michelle Sterling. She did
this jewelry yes, I'm purposely doingit all like this. Michelle Sterling is
absolutely fabished, does incredible work. And then this outfit that you see in

(16:29):
front of you was created by aperson who's actually out in California. But
thank god there's shipping. They are. Oh, I'm going to butcher their
name host right, Deltron. Yes, I know I'm a book of their
name all the time, but no, I absolutely love them. They created
this gown that you see me inall you can only see the shoulders.

(16:51):
That's all I'm saying. Where canyou find me? Just look up
Tricksie Valentine both on Instagram or Facebook, or you can look up Juicy with

those you can find me. Amazing. Alrighty Harpy, it's your turn.
Hi all you fabius faces, it'syour girl, Harpy Daniels. Who am

(17:15):
I Well, that's easy to say. I'm the Navy drag Queen. I'm
so happy. First of all,I want to say Jay, thank you
for having me back here Anastagia.I really appreciate it, especially for today's
episode with my twin, I thinkyou guys are the first to do twins
like us together with anybody, andlike everyone knows that, so like I
love that. Thank you for havingus. I am the queen of this

(17:36):
day, not the chicken. AndI was the sailor who performed on a
aircraft a war a war fighting aircraftcarrier in the middle of South China see
game publicity after doing DRAG. I'mnot the first, but I am the
first to be recognized publicly as amilitary icon for the LGBT queer community.
So it's very honorable to do thatand attribute to so many service members who

(17:59):
were able to even be out evena decade ago. So that is who
I am. And I've been livingfor Drag in ELF years close to Jade.
She said four hundred in psalms becauseshe is an ELF. I'm gonna
at least go down to twenty onehundred, because you know, we don't
go past the whole twenty one.Ask for what I'm wearing, I'm wearing
Pepperian. H No, because youalways have to stay ready. Please no

(18:33):
all of this. Honestly, thisdress came from Tricksie. This came from
Michael's. The hair came from along time friend, and the rest you
can probably find on Amazon. Getme gifts to day on my wish list.
Thank you, thank you, andask her. Where you can find
me. You can find me onany social media platform and or maybe in
the back of the fantel of aship in the fan room maybe too.

(18:56):
But I am hosting a show onNew Year's Eve, the thirty first time
down in the seven five seven.I'm still Shastion in Virginia. It's there
are the first ever weaver Beach Showbrewing company in Norfolk on the first ever
drag show. They're hosting there, and we're doing it when the ball drops,
so when mine drop, they'll drop. And then of course I'm doing

(19:17):
a birthday show on January. Iwill do the one in January ninth.
Oh good, the roast. We'lldo the roast I was saving last My
roast. Are gonna roast my ass. I can't wait for it. It
is my birthday roast. I'm eatingit up. My friends have been literally
stay, I have a notebook.I said, girl, you got two
minutes. It's my show. I'llget the hook, bitch, so give
me a lot of fun. They'regonna roast my mask and I'm gonna roast
thirst back. It's gonna help.Fun is at Maker's Craft Brewery because apparently

(19:41):
as sailors we drink to the phoneand it puns all day long, I
swear, and you can check thatout. And then the last one is
my birthday brunch. It is oneof the most up and running brunches in
the seven five seven. I've beentold across the board from in the network
that this is one of the bestbrunches that they haven't seen in years.

(20:03):
I'm not saying anything to the otherones, they are great, but I
bring sponsorship, I bring fun,I bring people in. I don't do
to tour contest to see the otherqueens that it is a work your run
when you strut yourself. Because atmy brunch, I want people not to
enjoy the show, but be apart of the show. An inclusive and
you can find me at the sevenfive seven or anywhere else if you have
bookings are open. D I do. I do visit Pa. Thank you

(20:26):
for Trickley for always having me,sister. But you can find me anywhere
and I will Oh sorry, Jada, so her brunches are absolutely amazing because
even though I've been to PA,I haven't been to many brunches, even
if I run my own brunch inBloomsburg, Pennsylvania. But her brunches,
I was just down there in December, a fabulous like one. I was

(20:51):
like, PA doesn't even know whatthey're missing. And I don't mean that
to disrespect anyone. I just mean, like her brunch, you need to
go to either watch or performed. So like maybe you want Jade in a
stage diament down there, I'm justout there. I mean, I'm welcome
to travel and bring this up tobut I'll make sure I cash app you
that twenty dollars. Thinks you too. Have such an amazing back and forth.

(21:17):
It is so much fun to watch. We've literally for everybody watching at
home. We have been hanging outfor the last two hours and we have
been having the best time, talkingabout like heavy topics, light topics,
and making each other laugh so much. I want to know this is gonna
be this is gonna be fun. What is one thing the two of you

(21:41):
have always wanted to ask the otherbut you have not yet on live television.
Oh my god, what I'm herefor I wasn't prepared, so I
mean because I'm older by two minutes. I'll go first, because girl,
I've been ready. Oh, Iwill say two things. First thing,

(22:07):
I have nothing to actually ask themrelated to I haven't because the relationship heart.
Yeah, I'm trixy. Herby andI have both in and our drag
has been built on the idea ofour family roots are emotional roots and who
we are today that we don't keepsecrets. There's no such thing as a
secret portunist. But if I thinkabout do I have a question that I've

(22:30):
never asked them? It doesn't Letme just phrase this. It doesn't come
from not knowing. It comes fromthe idea of I just want to know
the truth, even if I alreadyknow it. Oh, and the truth,
the truth. It's going to shockyou. On the question, Hervey,

(22:52):
how much do you admire me?Oh? He said, I want
you to look ugly, so truthbe told. I hate your guts,
but I really know I admire yougreat, Lisis. And as you said,

(23:19):
it's not an answer you don't alreadyknow. But you've worked your ass
off and I've seen people bully youand beat you down to this day people,
maybe even me watching who knows.Um. I'm not here to drop
names because honestly, I don't staya week to know them. But you've
worked your ass off, in andout of drag. I've even our own

(23:41):
family didn't believe in you, andI have been U since day one,
and I've seen it from the startbecause you said it yourself, the universe.
The universe had to make two ofus because there was so much greatness
to give and I couldn't peep coneinto one person. So when I see

(24:03):
you, I see everything I inspireto be. Even in the Navy,
you kept me pushing when I wasalone, when I was on deployment,
when I was afraid I wasn't gonnafit my PFA and my fat ass the
first time up running those twelve minuteslast, but you pushed me when you
had going. So I admire yougreatly, and I talk shit because I

(24:29):
love you because we hate hugging ourfeelings with humorous easier to hide this ship.
But you know what, I admireyou, and words can't explain the
rest of it. It just isthere. That got way heavier than I
thought it would. Oh my god, that was dutiful commercial commercial. I'm

(24:52):
second back. I put an eyelineron. What the fuck are you doing?
Section is like who's cutting the damnunder? Really gross? Yeah,
oh my god, no, BryanAngel, can someone pass me the cleanex
So you know, I will commentback, like the one thing I think

(25:12):
people don't know about specifically me andHarpy or twin drag queens are twins or
our bond runs deeper than what theyknow. So just hearing this we never
have to say it, but whenwe do say it, hmm, everyone
can feel the power truly, truly, And you know, I think that
the other thing that you know isnot really being mentioned right now, is

(25:36):
that that that comment that Harpey madeabout even when our family wasn't there to
support you, I was there onyour side. Can you all talk a
little bit about the the I knowthat uh tricks you talked about this a
little bit last time that you wereon, but really talking about your your
your your the culture from which youwere you were raised and the idea idea

(26:00):
idea of like what masculinity is versuswhat femininity is, and like how you
need this and one certain basket oretcetera, etc. Like I'd love to
see you all playing that more andhow you all really like how you all
came in. I think it's it'sit's crazy because, um, you all
are both queer, you all areboth drag queens, and like boom bam

(26:23):
boom, what are'all going todo like talking to your family in that
manner? What are you gonna donow? Like take over the world?
Yeah yeah, so kind of speakto your your right you're growing if you
can, if you feel comfortable tohow what was growing up as a queer
youth and a and a culture thatthat is focuses on masculinity. So I'll

(26:48):
just speak first only because I mean, Annastasia have had this conversation, so
that might help you, Harvey withunderstanding where we're coming from and this question.
If you don't know me and Harveyare individuals. We are Japanese American
individuals. Period. I don't needto justify that. She doesn't need to
justify that, like I don't needto give you a blood sample, like

(27:08):
period, That's who we are.And I say it that way because in
Jade you might not know this, but like we come from a background where
people are like your eyes aren't slantedenough, you don't look Asian enough,
and we go with those specific typesof stereotypes that me and Harvey like if
they knew who our father were who, if they knew who are about chan

(27:29):
was like they wouldn't have a questionthing only because of that stereotype that they're
blood and culture runs through us.Period. But with that and said,
to answer your question, Harvey andI had two separate journeys. And I
won't speak on Harvey's journey. Thatis Harvey's story. But from my journey,
I had to watch the pain ofa father who didn't understand his two

(27:53):
children, specifically us, who didn'tunderstand what it was to be feminis into
what it be sequary. He doesn'tunderstand it till today. So fighting that
battle wasn't necessary. Didn't he didn'taccept us. He always accepted us.
Let me say, he always lovedhis children and wishes them the best.
That's how we learned how to worldthe world. Like when Harpy says we're

(28:15):
going to be unstoppable and we've changed, our saying has nothing to do with
what we've done. It has todo with the honor that we were learned
to continue to bring to our family. And that is something a lot of
people get confused because they want toput their no offense to anyone here,
but their whiteness too. And Iwas like, it's not your whiteness that
gets to tell us who we are. It is our Asian ancestry and culture

(28:37):
who raised us who we are todayand the family that we raised in,
the culture that we were in,the traditions that we brought that both Harpy
I and our other brother have continuesthrough ut for it. So when I
say honor, I can tell youmost of our viewers don't know the honor
I'm talking about because they were neverraised them that kind of center. And
Harpy can mention it too, ina different way, but in their way

(29:00):
as well. So let me explainon the understanding of who we are as
individuals. If I took this wigoff, it doesn't change who I am,
just like if Harbey took their wigup, it never changes who they
are. But the honor we bringwas challenged because of my queerness, because
we had to sit there and saywe still brought honor to your family.

(29:25):
We just brought it in a wayyou couldn't see come on. Now.
Wow, that was the power webrought to both our family, our chosen
family, and to the world periodperiod. That's beautiful, Harbey, How
would you like to also respond?Uh, can we rephrase the can we

(29:47):
get it like a question again? And that was a lot. I just
want the question again together because everythingTrixie said, I mean, I'll ghost
this right now, we ditto, but I want just question again. So
the question was, can you talka little bit about your your history,
your past being growing up and agrowing up in a household where the culture

(30:12):
really focuses in on masculinity and growingup as a queer youth and then eventually
becoming a drag queen having to overcomethat masculinity, that toxic masculinity from the
culture within your within the household witha your rates. So I think Trixie
had a lot of key points thatI can definitely relate to. So I'll
try my best not to reiterate them. Um, I'll try to pick the

(30:36):
key points that I saw for myself, as she said, because I can
never speak for Tixi, and I'veheard even stories that she told me that
I look back and said, wegrew up in the same household and that's
how you felt. Oh my god, so sorry, you know, because
for me, I was the firstopenly and out at the time, so
a bit of me always still feelsthis form of way, and Trixie and

(30:56):
I've talked about this um that.Because of that, I feel like I
was antagonizing. I was a dumbkid, and there were parts where I
even felt like I even tried topull Tricksie out to be more open when
it wasn't her time. And that'swhy I'm so big on like not outing
people and stuff and letting them havethat time, because that's something I live
with and I've apologized for a milliontimes, so I'm not going to do
it today, but I'm sorry. However, in a household where we were

(31:22):
exemplifies and it's not even just oneside of our culture that we live very
strongly before. It's both of ourparents, however, and it doesn't it's
not just as a kid. Itkind of reflected even when I got older
too, so our parents did notunderstand queer culture. I mean, my
mom's yet to see a drag show, and I've invited her of a million
the good ones too. I've invitedto like the university's like the ones where

(31:45):
it's like PG. Thirteen, Soit's okay, she shows up to one
thing. Okay, so I thinkshe would come to a strip show before
a drag show. Who knows,However, I will say though, maybe
I'm oblivious because I've gone through thatbattle. I've accepted, and I love
my parents and they love me andthey support me. Now, um,

(32:06):
that struggle was difficult because my parentsare divorced. I lived with my mom
on my own, so more ofmy story is towards her being younger.
And I remember being home and Iused to paint my toe nails and I
bought these little daisy dukes and thesecute little femble queerness. Everything in high
school just discovered who I am andI hit it all in the box very

(32:31):
very uh um. I was gonnasay ann Frank, but I didn't want
to go that far. But inthe way, very very everything on her
knee, she um, she sewit all the way. I came home
and it was gone, what itwas gone. I paid for it out

(32:57):
of money. I saved my money. I bought all of it. It's
just calmed because and this is somethingthat you can read in an art article
um It was released by um umUh sexual Trauma. I can't get the
whole thing. If I remember,I'll post it later. It's a military
military sexual trauma movement, thank you. And the article was released called boys

(33:21):
Don't Do That because that was thestate she said to me, that boys
don't do that, and it wassomething I lived off to then be a
rebel for in my own way,and that's why I've been so just like,
I don't care where anybody comes from. I don't care what they do.
Do what makes you happy. Andthat struggle, though, my mom
finally came to terms with it,and even to this day she's We just

(33:43):
took a trip to Salem and Iwas like, Mom, the queers her
over there, and she goes thoseand tell me some more and I'm like,
really, okay, well, let'spull up and accepting. And on
the back end, though, itis reversta with my father because he's been
very accepting from the beginning, butonce I came out as the Navy drag

(34:06):
queen, he felt some form ofway I shunned our family. And this
is where Ticksie brought up honor becausewe were raised our last names and who
we are to always put our bestfoot forward in our culture. And that's
the best way I can explain it. And when he came to me and
said, well, I support youfor my son, but I don't support

(34:28):
you for this choice of bringing yourpersonal life into the navy and all just
because I did drag as a sailorand showed the world who I am.
Because the times change it. Umcaught a huge fight at actually caused a
fight at my first Christmas back home. Oh my goodness, back into twenty
eighteen. Um, that was mylast US. Yeah, that was my

(34:52):
last. Was my first Christmas backwith my family, and I haven't actually
been back to Christmas since. Thiswill be my first one this year,
so it's going to struggle. However, we've crossed boundaries, we've moved mountains,
and I want to let people whoare watching give the people opportunity to
change this, cancel culture, allof it, like I could have easily
removed myself. Did I need totake time for my family to get past

(35:15):
my own feelings? Yes? DidI need them too, yes? But
I went back. I explained thatI gave them an opportunity to educate and
learn and they did. They loveme so so I think something I took
from this is that we all havea story, and I think I have
a beautiful ending to that story, and even for my family, and still
more to go. So that isincredible. If I can add please,

(35:42):
And and this is why I addit, because this is my twins speaking
in front of us what people didn'tsee or hear a part of Harvey's story,
which the thing is, since we'retwins and we're not just let me,
let me let the audience that we'renot just twins. We're queer twins
who have gone through hell and backand our drag queens who have fought for

(36:05):
our communities and rural and to makea name for yourself because anybody knows this
day and drag. That shit's hard, Yes, both equally. Because we
do not look at each other anyhigher or out lower than each other.
I will say we did it togetherbecause Josh came sorry, Hearty, Sorry

(36:27):
sorry, I said backstage I woulddo this twins. We don't give a
fuck about our drag game. Harpeycame out before me. But the battles
between our parents started with Herpy, educated by Tricksie, whoa okay, positive

(36:52):
because we were twins and I wouldnever and I don't care who you are,
and Harpy will say it too.You never get between twins. Mm
hmmm. So when our own parentsspoke up, I decided to step up
because I was educated and those werehidden battles that in family dynamics no one
gets to see. Wow. Ithink when when Harpy and I share our

(37:15):
story, it's really together because whenat one asks for a solution, the
other one has the answer. Myou know, I really just love that
you all are both able to giveboth sides of the story, both sides,
like both sides of the coin.I suppose I should say, um,
and it's crazy for me to hearthat I can't see unfortunately, but

(37:37):
it's crazy for me to hear thatthis is the first time that you all
have done an interview together. Yes, yes, how does that makeing it?
Like? Why? Like? Whatthe fuck you have to queer leaders
in this and coming out of CentralPa. You know one who is an
amazing sex educated I'm a sex educatorand like an amazing advocate, the other

(38:01):
who is an amazing advocate and theNavy drag queen like you have a like,
so, I'm so curious, doyou all have any goals, not
goals, but any plans to moveforward with like a a TV show or
a book or something like that willmake you put your story to you can

(38:22):
have your stories together, so noone wants to interview you. I'm up
with this, Like what um Harpylayou answer first? Oh, thank you,
thank you. I'm so I'm sohonored, thank you, tri um
So, we do have plans. It's something we did talk about. So,
like anybody who knows me, mygoal the reason why I started drag

(38:43):
was repause drivers, and that isstill a goal to the day that I'm
still moving forward to. Um InTrixie and I slightly talked about and I
said, Yo, Sis, whenare we gonna put in together? Girl?
We have it, like, let'sgo, let's do this, let's
do the first um So I that'ssomething we did discuss, I think with
right now. M With Trixie beingthe bookworm as I like to call her,

(39:08):
um I literally BookSmart, street smart. You know what I'm saying,
like study to the top suctor. So honestly, we know what we're doing
together. We're an unstoppable force. This is in the Asian language of US
algebra. We know it will makesure we find X and there is now

(39:29):
the limit does not exist, Noone does not we I think eventually down
the road we could both potentially seesomething. I think right now we're both
still in a developing stage for eachother with our uncles. But I would
say definitely, like six to tenyears down the road, Wow, we

(39:51):
could see a release. And it'sjust because I can see um Trixie and
she can of course correct and stayher statements because she's just getting her PhD
here like the next year. Um, so I know even after she gets
it, there's still a lot ofgrowth. You know, you still have
a lot of building to do afterthat. You know, you have the
piece of paper, great, butgo And she's trying to do both at
the same time. I don't thinkI'm sorry if that piece of paper comments

(40:14):
sound a root face a little bit. It's documented, it's there, you
have it, you work your assoff for it. But you know,
I've seen people your doctor's degree andand and work at subway, you know,
so because there's there's a lot oflike, hey, doctor, can
I get a little cheese on toastedfor me on, but it takes a

(40:37):
lot because economy is changing. Evenfor myself. I'm about the live re
enlist next year for three more yearswith myself hopefully hopefully go to San Diego.
That is what I'm That's what I'mmanifesting. I'll find out in the
summertime where I'm going, but that'swhere I'm seen to attack next and take

(40:59):
over because I have a lot ofsupporters and Cey a lot of queer people
in the military because our second biggestnaval base. And I'm like, well
I did here in Virginia. Imade my mark, like I wanted.
Now take the Suntigua somewhere else andwhen I leave here behind, people can
take with them forever or you knowwhat, these queens who don't want to
take what I have left throw it. I don't care. Do what you
want. But I did. Butat least at the end of the day,

(41:19):
I did what I was to do. So there's still like that.
I hear mark is where we're goingto finish our development. So that's why
I say six to ten where weesomething adapt from that and it could come
quick or it can go fast.At the end of the time, as
well as the journey. It's fun. That's all that matters. Yo Oh.
I love that mindset so much.So we do have a lot of

(41:40):

LFE dB Radio. Now back toour program. Hello, Hello, Hello,
this is Anna Stage of Diamond herewith affirmations with Annastasia. So I've

(45:52):
been hunting at this wig that I'vebeen wearing all night log and and between
the interviews and such. And Ido this because I actually had a surgery
earlier this week, I had anocular surgery on my of course, on
my eye, and so that surgeryactually left me pretty swollen and beat up.

(46:16):
And so I'm doing what I cando because I thought it would look
a little hokey to have just oneeye sticking out. So why am I
telling you this story. I'm tellingthis story and I'm laughing about it because
I have a pretty good support systemhere. My family was very much so

(46:39):
on my side with the frustrations ofthe of the surgery and the frustrations with
the medical office and my office,my my my employers were or also very
much so on my side and verymuch so advocating for me to take care
of myself and do the self carethat I need to be doing. Um

(47:00):
And I said, all this, not the brag, but to remember that,
you know a lot of folks whoare in the queer community don't have
the support from family members as we'vebeen discussing tonight. Other are folks who
even who are who are superstars, and they don't have the support they did

(47:24):
not have, excuse me, tosupport from their family they needed even just
several years ago. If you knowsomeone who is queer, especially during this
holiday season, who's they're not, who's not going to go see their family,
who doesn't have a large fit friendgroup, I urge you please reach

(47:45):
out to them. We're all here, we're all struggling, some of us
struggling a little bit less than others, but not everyone has the supports that
you may have or that I mayhave professionally or personally. So if you
know someone, reach out this holidayseason and propas if you have the ability

(48:09):
to give a gift, dropic hash, invite them, bring over a plate
for them. But just remember thatwe as a community need to be here
for one another as much as foras chosen families, as much as folks

(48:29):
need their biological families as well, which some folks just don't have. So
that's my little tip fit for thisweek. Make sure that you're supporting folks
who are queer and support different programsthat are supporting queer folks as well.
And happy holidays. Speaking of that, to tie into that a little bit

(48:50):
with something a little shameless but nottoo shameless, my wonderful husband is doing
a huge fundraiser right now where heis making his car to the trendle ball
and they are going to stuff itwith unwrapped toys to donate to children.
All of the proceeds go to theFamilies United Network. I would like to

(49:15):
implore everyone, first of all, look at this ridiculous car. Are over
four thousand Christmas lights on that carright now. And if you don't have
toys to donate, you could alsovenmo at Pass Underscore Kids Xmas and that
money will be donated as well. One thing I would like to implore everyone

(49:37):
to do, if you're thinking ofdonating things for this holiday season, think
about, especially for foster kids, luggage suitcase because usually those kids get nothing
but a garbage bag to take theirstuff with, So think about stuff like
that. If you are donating food, it's not just food. Can openers,

(50:00):
not just the food item itself, and donate smart. Look into who
you're donating to, because some placesare not welcoming to everyone and will turn
their back on certain people, especiallyin our community. So do what you
can help yourself first though, that'svery important. Yes, yeah, help

(50:23):
her get a different wig. Listen, this came to me from Jeff Bezos
and one day, you know what, you know what? I don't know
what I don't I don't know whatI don't know where I was gonna go
with that. I also got thelittle ornaments a little bows on there and

(50:45):
one day as well, and mycostume for the January show. I've got
something coming back for our anniversary showthat has been widely requested. And the
last one that I used to thatI was wearing hopped. And that's just
a little hint from our in personsupporters. I know what's going on now.

(51:06):
Also, if you're coming to ouranniversary show, there's something special that's
going to happen to open the show. We've all kind of put our heads
together to give you something a littlea little spicy, did I word that
rightful? That? And be nicebecause we don't get a chance to rehearse

(51:27):
it beforehand. So there's that. It's awesome, all right, girl,
are you ready to bring back ourguests? Would love to see our guests
again. Well, here our guestsagain, Here our guests again. Already,
kids, we are going to welcomeback to Inside the Drag Closet the
incredible Trixie Valentine and Harpy Daniel.I have been watching Harpy shoveling food into

(51:54):
her face. I mean, Ilove it now. We did get a
question that was emailed in, andI'm very excited about this because it's actually
something that's already happened this evening. So the question was, was there ever

(52:19):
a time in drag where you cried? Whether that be happy crying, bad
crying, or you just needed agood cry. Because I can tell you
every time we get together, Ishould you not as the water works.
It's because we know that that feelingis there and I love home on the
other side of the screen. ActuallyI can I can fix that done accommodations.

(52:52):
However, I know, well Ifelt together since the Twin Show.
Every time I think we even justhad a show. I looked at her
and she looked at me. Shegoes look pretty, look beautiful. And
I always say, it's like asour drag mother said, you look okay,

(53:14):
that's her bed. That's actually ourdrag mother, Tequila Daniel she was.
And we have the same dragon familytoo. We are we are thinking
the Daniels, Tequila Daniels or adrag mother too. Smart woman follow her
um every time. Excuse me,when we get to drag. We both
do the same thing because we bothlooked at much up to you either I
call her like, do this lookokay, I'm not really sure good because

(53:37):
your opinion is the only one comeout, and that she's just saying that
whatever, she likes it, andI'm just I'm decisive, and I'll be
like, all right, let methink about it. It's either really agree
with you or not. But crying, Yes, we definitely tear up behind
the skating, especially when we doour duet. We'll look at each other.
We'll have a moment water pretty dramatic, like like someone's about to put

(54:00):
each other to get off. That'sbasically what it looks like. But if
it's cute for me though, umyes, I actually recently Pride and my
last one personally and Outer Bank Pride. I did all that jazz and when
I got down that was the firsttime in a long time I got to
see the ovation and I bowled myeyes. Oh that's awesome, that's awesome.

(54:25):
Yeah. Um, First of all, I'm excited for this email come
question, because I've been dying backstage, so Jade, you've bet you've got
that suspense up, so thank you'But no, um, have I cried
in drags specifically because of Harvey.I'm just that's the way I'm going to
interpret this question. Yes several times. Yeah, I think I don't think

(54:49):
people understand, like I don't careif you show up, but when Harvey
or your own twin shows up,that's a different because we don't just show
up for each other. We showup for more than what's us to begin
that we don't we can't articulate becauseeveryone's like, do you have a twin
bond? We can't articulate there,And we don't have enough time in this
show for me to explain how thefeelings that we have for each other period.

(55:12):
But the only thing I can sayis believe when I say, you
or anyone else could never imagine whatit's like to perform with your stage,
with your twin on stage in purehappiness. Yeah, and we do it
unapologetically there we so someone I readthe questions and the things someone asked us.

(55:35):
Do we have a do what wedo? We created ourselves. Harpy
Um is the one that choreographied it. Choreo. I'm no one with the
PhD, but jeez, I camein talk. I'm pretty sure I saw
y'all do you do what? Um? On that one old Christmas movie?

(55:58):
It was like that, sister,Yes, that's gonna be the next one.
Everyone keeps asking if we're gonna dothat, But we will, we
will do We've we've bunched Chicago thattwenty back into But when I say we
cry, we don't. We don'tcry out of happiness their sadness. I
think that's the correction here. Wecry because our internal twin bond connects and

(56:23):
it doesn't. And yes, it'san energy that no one else, if
I was up there with anyone elsedoing the same thing, could not experience.
And I say that because, likewith twins, like I know this
because we we do something that notifiesthat we're feeling it. Whether it's a

(56:44):
look, whether it's a touch,whether it's a sound, we know it's
there and it exists. But aslong as we both acknowledged it at the
same time, we forget that we'reperforming in front of hundreds thousands of people
and we only think of the twoof us on that stage. Yos,
that's what makes us cry. Ilove that so much. You know it's

(57:07):
funny. M Our super fan twinsRobin and Vicki last week were so funny
because they were both asking questions theyweren't in the same room, but they
were asking the same questions at thesame time. Oh my gosh, and
and even Vicky was saying, it'sso true about twins. Our bond is

(57:27):
deeper than anyone will ever know. Now we do have a couple of comments.
I wanted to get to over here. I had to scroll back a
little bit because we're a bunch ofchat abouts. But Eve Brown wanted to
say, Trixie, you're aesthetic withthe curled hair. Reminds me of a
young nanov visitor when she was inGreece and even later as Major Kira in

(57:50):
Deep Space nine. I would loveto see you do a Deep Space nine
number as Major Kira. That woulddie. I'm such a nerd. I
mean, if I was ever invitedto Deepers down Under, because it's an
amazing show, I'm just saying, not saying I haven't been invited, but
I will be just saying, Derek, Um, that would be the show
to do it. If I wasdoing a show, that would be the

(58:13):
show I was doing it. Ilove it. I'm gonna I'm just gonna
roll off her back. Hey,I'm always free to um. And I
know he's watching right now, soyou m tapes ladies, right. Uh.
Jimmie Angel also wanted to ask Harpyhow challenging has it been being in

(58:36):
the Navy and being a beautiful dragperformer. Has there been changes in the
level of support for active duty militaryindividuals who are lgbt QY A plus who
are out, particularly gender queer individuals. So I actually love this question because
there's so much that has been changing. Um, So I'm going to first

(58:58):
answer for me. Has it beenchallenging. No. I've been very blessed
to have the fifth skin and knowledgeand experience going in so I do administration,
so I know the rules like backof my hands. So when it
comes to anyone who has issues withqueer inclusive people or the LGBT, I
show them the document they signed andsaid, I'm pretty sure we said zero

(59:19):
talents, right. I love thatpeople go up to mass and I have
been pleasing people get kicked out forit too, actually, so there's a
lot of support there. It's justall about knowing your resources, knowing who
you can go talk to, andif you don't know anyone, come talk
to me. Honey. I'm stillactive, do I will figure it out.
Now moving on to what's changed.Yes this year, January twenty fifth

(59:44):
of twenty and twenty one, theHonorable Joe Biden signed that TRANS members and
all members to all people of theUnited States of America, no matter how
you identify, what you come under, is able to able to serve in
their country's military. It's written thereplaying doctument, the actual doctriment. That
is actually what the statement is said. I did a whole training on it.

(01:00:06):
Um. It's amazing. Um.Now, as for identity, the
identification per point of it, there'sstill no an identification rouvers for those who
don't identify neither male or female asthey put it, there's non binary queer
sol because that for myself, Ido identify as more of some of our
general fluid queer individual myself. Butthe evolution has come like even though only

(01:00:30):
a decade ago gays in bisexual lesbianswere able to do what they need to
come out and live their life. Two and fifteen we got married, and
then here twenty sixteen actually came outwith the TRANS members, but then transpand
and now here we are in twentytwenty one. So it's going, it's
evolving, it's just the more education. It's just it's going to take time.

(01:00:51):
It's way too long, but it'staking time. So there's a lot
of evolution and there's a lot ofsupport. It's just all about how people
carry themselves. Because the Navy isculture. The military is a culture.
You know. I don't I don'tcome dressed in drag when I go in.
I go in as petty officer Kelly. So there's a lot to be
learned there. I don't have thetime for it. But yes, we
are evolving in it's gone way better. Well, you know, and I

(01:01:14):
think that it's it's important to understandthat. Like I think that with any
kind of organization, I'll say,I'll say organization, but what I'm talking
about organization, I mean kind ofsystem. With any kind of system,
there's going to be the evolution.Um. However, there also comes to
be times whenever you plateau, andwhen you plateau, things are forgotten,

(01:01:36):
things that people get comfortable, theyou know, certain things, you know,
there are going to be things thatfall off. So I think that,
like I think, yes, boom, we like you said, we
got we got them. We gotsame sex marriage legalized in twenty fifteen.
Well, in twenty fifteen. That'swhen people are like, um, wait
a minute, this is the thing. Then transgender bathrooms happen, and then

(01:01:58):
so then that all culminated then totwenty sixteen election, and people are like,
I don't like this change. Iwant to go back to the way
things work. And it's like, baby girl, things will have been this
way for forever. It's just likewe just didn't have laws for it.
So the same thing for individuals whoare black, you know, for Black
Americans. You know, for soso long, we were standing in a

(01:02:19):
plateau at the at the societal level, we weren't seeing much change and we
weren't seeing much fight. Now,definitely on the grassroots level, there's a
lot of fight. Same thing inthe military. There's a lot of fights
for queer individuals at the grassroots leveltrying to advocate for change, but it
isn't until somely explode. Big happens, like with the Black Lives Matter movement,

(01:02:40):
when we do see evolution, whenwe do see change, So all
about to say things are changing,Yes, we're seeing evolution, we're seeing
progress, But with progress, there'salways going to be some kind of a
backlash. And don't let that discourage. You just keep fighting, keep advocating,
keep doing what you're doing. Otherwisewe wouldn't be where we are right

(01:03:04):
now, period. I think.I think otherwise we wouldn't be progressing whatsoever.
We everyone gave up who was progressive, we wouldn't be progressing. So
it's funny. We noticed a trenda couple of years ago after gay marriage
was legalized that people weren't coming outto benefit shows anymore for Pride, and
we were like, the fight's notover exactly, we can get married.

(01:03:25):
Now we have to work on thenext thing, you know. In complacency.
Um, I have enjoyed, youknow, educating myself further on things
that I have screwed up in mylife. And you know, we were
talking about it earlier, and Idon't want to get into too much about
it because I'm embarrassed, but um, you know that constant evolution and that

(01:03:46):
constant learning is very critical to change. Yes, Um, I mean I
could come everything. Literally, greatjob, I'm doing that timeline justice for
real, Like I mean, Imean you should come to one of my
trainings, tricksy. I literally Igot asked to come to the John F.

(01:04:09):
Kennedy to literally present this because there'snot a lot of people in the
service. I mean, my wholecommanding officer came up to me. And
this is where I love Tricksie, because I have to do this way.
It's the opposite. This is whyI love Tricksy because everything she learns she
may not see. But I've takenit everywhere ago because people like, how
do you know so much? I'mlike, because my twin Tricksies like about

(01:04:32):
like col I just know she didn'tshut the fuck out my lover or something.
Knowing that information, I've taken thatinto the military actually and dispersed it
back because a lot of people don'twant to talk about it. And I
said, my whole commanding officer whenthe transpand got lifted, and then Conservative
came to me and he looked atme, goes, I'm going to need

(01:04:54):
help. Can you help me understandpronouns and identification? And it was great
work. Oh thank you, Thankgoodness. You had someone and who was
higher up than you, who waswilling to do the work. That's all
it is. And for those whodon't and for those who and those who
don't know commanding officer that means likethat's the guy in charge of mine and

(01:05:15):
that's my boss. Like, that'she's the one. I'd like all of
it. Yeah, well, yeah, I wanted to. I wanted to
just applaud you and everyone else forthat too. But like, since it's
that stemmed from your question of themilitary, and maybe I'm just someone you
call frequently and to ask questions,um no I um. So. One

(01:05:36):
of the fascinations that I understand thatmany people don't understand is that when you
think about marriage and when you speakis like the gay marriage. And I
don't mean to put it that way, but that's the way the papers put
it for us. But it's reallymarriage equality. And that's only been six
years and it's not even gonna beseven years until about June of next year

(01:06:00):
there. But when you look atthat and from my background, because I
come from a PhD background, andI don't mean to rub it in,
but I come from that research backgroundwhere I researched different forms of relationship dynamics
and how it forms into ethics andmarriage. We only got we only got
five years. Like, it doesn'ttell much, It doesn't say much what

(01:06:20):
that means into our relationships. Howdoes marriage actually be an importance to queer
culture. We don't know, it'sonly been five years. But then when
you look at it to the legalitykind of what we're saying about, marriage
wasn't everything because we didn't get wewe didn't even get an understanding of equal
to work or to housing or twohave public accommodations. So there's a lot

(01:06:45):
more that I in this seriousness ofconversation that many people that all four of
us have talked about, do notunderstand that how to yet to be that
that well, you know what, you know what tricks I will say.
You mentioned that it's only been fiveit's only been since twenty sixteen, only
been six years. So but let'stalk about not let's talk about it,

(01:07:06):
but just to bring up interracial marriagehas only been legal for it's been less
of the century. Like interracial marriagehas been a legal for less of a
century, and people are still racist, Like people are still ignorant about interracial
couples, even when they're when they'renot getting married, they're like, why
would you want to marry? Whyare you getting going out in front of
your race? So it's like thatit's so much work to diddle. So

(01:07:30):
but I just want to say, even though we're on a serious topic,
because of the general question, wejust remember because we get the privilege in
the understanding of who we are, just not get the reality to that.
M And the last thing I'll say, because it was a military question for
those who are queer. UM,just so everyone knows point I said.

(01:07:53):
I think I said last time,I am not the only drag queen in
the navy. UM. So ifanyone ever felt the way that I'm taking
this the public gavement of this name, I took it from the articles written
on me. I was internationally knownbecause I was in literally Australia, European
and other national news as well, which is why I use those words.
So I'm aware of the only dragqueen in the service. However, again

(01:08:16):
the only first one publicly recognized. But what I want to say on that
behalf of all the other queer inclusivepeople, the people who served weren't even
able to be out. If anything, I just want to continue, and
I always do say thank you becauseI didn't do this alone. I didn't.
They're not the only one fighting.I've just been the one that has
been said, can you be You'veproven to be something that's unique and different,

(01:08:40):
that has not yet a shine lightbright on and I got very lucky,
but I did work hard for it. And for that, I don't
want to say I'm the only one. I want to say thank you to
all the other service members who haveserved and who are still serving as LGBT
or queer inclusive people. Amazing. So we have a lot of questions.

(01:09:01):
Get so this. I think thisis going to be an easy one.
This is from Phillis. Phyllis iswonderful. She is one of our longtime
supporters here on the show. Iam eighty one, am blessed with one
gay son, two gay grandchildren, and one is pan sexual. Is that
grandchild also gay? Doctor? UhNo, So pan sexuality is a different

(01:09:30):
form of sexuality. When we understandthe idea of different sexualities, it is
rooted in the understanding of different formsof attraction that can also be contributed to
our different ideas of behavior. AndI know I'm speaking a little fast because
we have a lot of time anda lot of questions, and that seems
very confusing, But let me simplifyit for you. Gay homosexuality and understanding
of a different form of sexuality relatedto almost the same sex of a form

(01:09:53):
of attraction. Pan sexuality rooted inLatin word pan all a person's attract and
related to being attracted to all formsof expression and gender a sexuality a form
of a not Latin word not meaningno sexuality related to forms of any form
or low forms of sexual attraction relatedto a forms of gender expression by sexuality

(01:10:16):
by an under forming of two underforms of sexuality related to meaning that someone
can have different forms of sexual attractionrelated to two different variations on different degrees
or the same degree. To say, your baby is queer and they're part
of the LGBTQ community, baby girl, So yes, you got you you
you don't got a house full ofqueers, baby, Yeah, but you

(01:10:41):
got queers. Baby. You gotgood good, So hopefully that But when
you understand that question, just understandno, but make sure you're listening exactly.
Next question, This is sped round, girl, I'm the whole acriny.
I don't know that gay girl. Are y'all identical or fraternal for which

(01:11:08):
means we were born on two differenteggs? Were okay, girl, I've
given them the facts. We're forturnal Google. This is a good one.
Robin doesn't because when they talked aboutIdentical in pra Turnical and Jade asked
an important question at the last questionwhich I could answer, but I wasn't

(01:11:30):
part of the interview. Oh Ididn't see that. But yes, we
came from two different eggs. Yeswe do. Yea here this is a
neat one O'Ryan wants to know.Did you actually come out to each other
or did you know? I thinkwe already, but we did come out.
I'm not even an I think weknew. I I won't lie.

(01:11:51):
I don't think I knew everything.Um, but I didn't. I didn't
know everything. Um, but wedid come out out to each other.
I did come out to well,I will speak for me. I did
come out to tricks just like Idid everyone else because I wanted her acceptance.
So we did. I did comeout to Tricksy. But I definitely

(01:12:11):
know she knew. I didn't knowahead of time unless people in our high
school told me. So that's howI kind of knew. But I already
had a non form of judgment. When anyone's form of sexuality each other,
you cannot see it. So Iwas instilled to not judge someone based off
of any form of who they areperiod. So when it comes to the
two of us, I personally didnot who know who they are? But

(01:12:34):
when we come out, it's notjust recognizing these identities, it's recognizing who
we are. So I think deeperin the idea of what coming out means.
But I actually knew ahead of time. But I actually had a dream
and it was like a telepathic dream. They were like you gay, okay,
and that's what. Oh well, there there is a difference on how

(01:12:56):
we identified that I don't think wasaddressed. But okay, Well I'm going
to say, yeah, I knew, but um, yes, okay,
I have a lighthearted question here.Yes, my answer is blue. You
have all been cast in a ChristmasCarol? What role are you playing?
Scrooge ghost to Christmas pass? BecauseI'm ready hot some bitches though, Future

(01:13:26):
was the ghost. I thought theywere all ghosts. I mean they are,
but like Future is the spooky one. You're the future of drag Heartbeat,
You're the future of Dragon. Here'sthe future of drags, Dish you
should be the future looks like adisco ball and everything yo areanimate? This

(01:13:47):
wing I love it. I loveit. I didn't say disco ball.
I'm gonna say Scrooge because I personallyI'm I'm I'm not kidding. I'm not
a big fan of the holidays.I don't know her. This is where
our similarities do not match. No, I'm in my hair. How about
you, Anastasia, any of them? Next question, Jade, I want

(01:14:13):
to know what ghosts you are, because we know you're not little to me.
Um, So long story short,I have played Tiny Tim. I
have done that show for so manyyears. The weird thing was I was
working for a touring company. UMwhen I did that show, and I
was dating the guy playing Bob Cratchett. Oh, and I had to sing

(01:14:36):
a song about how much I lovemy daddy while sitting on his lap.
Moving. Yeah. The next question, next question, it was not appropriate.
We talked about have you done duetsbefore? Um, we are now
at the point where we hit inor we hit our commercial break. That's

(01:14:59):
how far backway are. Wow,Okay, it's fine, we'll go over.
It's fine. This is important stuffwe're talking about. UM, thank
you. I'm important with Jade.If you had actually become what you wanted
to be as a child, whatjob would you have now? Tricking first?
What? Um? Okay, I'lldo it. I'm not ashamed of

(01:15:24):
this because I said it in mymaster's course and PhD course toologist about it.
What I just figured it was akind inclogious. If I stuck with
the job I did as a kid, it would be a mighty morphrom power
ranger. And you best believe I'dbe the best one you had, period
best okay, So literally for me, it would be a drag queen.

(01:15:46):
Should you not? When Drag cameout, I was sixteen and I even
sat down and you can hear heras a as a child. I don't
know, probably your honor she wasa minor. Not was statutory, thank
you anyway, But for real, once I found out with dragons, I

(01:16:06):
always wanted to be it. Andeven my English teacher Joanna, you can
check her out on my she willtell you. We sat down and had
an interview as like what would youdo? Like it would it was like
going into a brief as a resume, because this is a class. It
was, and she was like,I don't know many questions and I didn't
either, of course, so we'rejust going into it like entertainment side.
What do you have here? Whatcould you do? And I'm like going

(01:16:28):
through it like some sixteen year old, like I know shit, so honestly
the drag and look at you nowhe no stopping you get a flower on
her head? Yeah no, itstopping her? And Asasia, what did
you want to be? Yeahs inlife? I wanted to just be fabulous
that I feel like the people arelike, what do you want to be

(01:16:50):
when you grow up? Back?I don't. I don't know, Like
I'm not thinking about that right now. I'm doing well and cool right now.
I'm for real, for real.Wanted to be a forever student because
I was good at school. I'mgood at school, like I have,
I do have a master's degree.I did just get my license and I
was low keeping I'm gonna get mydsw or PhD um. But I was
like, I actually, I don'tneed to go back to school. I

(01:17:13):
have a job. Girl. Whatabout you? What do you want to
be? I was going to bean actor. I don't know what.
Ye nailed it kind of kind ofthat never mind, um uh, where

(01:17:35):
were we? All right? Thequestions kind of slowed down, But harpie,
have you ever performed any share numbers. You have enough resemblance I could
see you doing it. You canthank the compliments or everything, so thank
you. Um. I've never performedshare, mostly because I'm around a lot
of drag queens, um, whoare older. I do share on a

(01:17:58):
regular but I'm gonna do share. It's going to be on an event that
none of these bitches do share, just so I can do my own share.
Um. But have I wanted todo share? Yes, Oh my
god. I would love to doa whole number just to her MoMA MIA's
album. Honestly I would. Yeah, so, but no I haven't,
but it is still a plan todo. I just need to not either

(01:18:19):
have my drag mother around my girlJennifer Warner out here, and non of
these old bitches have been out herewho I love, respect and legends all
around. I'm just saying, y'allneed to let these young ones do share
at least one. Don't want girldo shni or something like, Y'll come
back to it. Let me doshare. Um. Chanelle would like to

(01:18:40):
know when you leave the house, what is the one thing you can't leave
home without preparation? Age? Ohfix it? Um, cell phone keys
Wi. Yeah, but I meanlike I could go anywhe and if I

(01:19:01):
have my mom with me, Ican buy my chapstick. I mean chapstick
like I'm a And the last thingconfidence. I always walk out of my
house confident. I always forget totake that. Yeah, that's why God
invented blonde wigs. That's all youneed, true, true, truly,

(01:19:24):
truly, truly, Ricky, Whatabout you? What do you take out
of that house? I mean dittoif we're talking about tangible things. Um.
Every morning, I listened to motivationalpodcasts and I name three things I
love about myself prior to starting myday. So love that not you pretty
love Karen Anastasia, I thought allthe phone and I listen. I do

(01:19:51):
listen to podcast too. I listenedto the Cole Meyers. Why won't you
date me? Because I'm single asfuck and y'all never ask me if I
cry one of my almonds drag.My answer was gonna be. I cry
every time I wins drag. Buty'all just can't tell, because that's what
hard. Yeah, the wigs thathide your eyes so we can't see anyway.

(01:20:16):
Period. Listen, lisk y'all thinkI'm joking. I'm coming at my
uh January seventh, Diva's down under. Let's believe this is all you're gonna
get. Yes, So I kindof have the same answer like wallet phone
keys, but you know, travelingto work, I always tried to put

(01:20:39):
music on that is uplifting. UM. I'm very into Steps right now.
The British pop band UM. Alot of their songs just they're like they
came out in the late nineties, early two thousands and their music just makes
me smile. That did like alot of music that wasn't like regular instruments.

(01:21:04):
Am I thinking the rapion that soundsabout right? It's very UM.
They're their biggest like the one thatput them on the map. They did
UM a cover of the BG's tragedy, and then they did an album.
They split up and then they gotback together just a couple of years ago,

(01:21:25):
and the new stuff they're doing isincredible. They actually put out an
album because they don't live near eachother anymore, and one of them lives
in Dubai, so they filmed thevideo, but the girl that lives in
Dubai's filmed separately, and Michelle Visagestepped in as a guest entertainer for them.
Okay, look up the steps.Their music is so good and there's

(01:21:47):
a documentary about them getting back togetherand it is because their final concert before
they split up, two of themannounced at the concert, by the way,
we're leaving the group, and thenthey had to perform together. Right
yeah, so yeah, watch thatdocumentary. It's on YouTube. It's amazing.
Arama right right uh with Jake, thank you the whole thing I said

(01:22:17):
backstage. Anytime I say juicy,I'm setting. She missed it, Jake,
I got jus supposed to be asupporter. Gina Rodriguez would like to
know what is your favorite or mostmemorable drag performance to date? Oh this

(01:22:40):
is easy for me. Um.I competed in Miss Gay Pennsylvania twenty nineteen
and I placed top four UM acrossthe board minus Now I was one point
short. So Arianna Adams, youknow you got one point about me in
that down but you all know Iwas still placed higher than you, even
though I love you. This No, that performance I did a performance is

(01:23:04):
on YouTube. You could actually lookit up if you want to. And
the reason why I think when Ithink about my most powerful informer I was
unstoppable. I didn't care what thejudges thought. When I say I performed
the most authentic self I could perform, it would be that number because I
loved it. It was everything. It was the rig reveal, the hair

(01:23:24):
reveal, that is the way thecostume reveals, because it's loral like I
gave you everything. And honestly, the only reason I didn't place higher based
off of both my own critiques andthe judges is I didn't have backup d
answers. And that's true. Ididn't. If I had a whole production,
it would have been everything else inlit. But knowing I placed top
four on a solo performance, donework, Jane. What about You?

(01:23:56):
The one that's been coming to minda lot lately because I have this song
on a flash drive in my car. Um my husband put together a show
called the Fabulous Gay Agenda Show andit was a big fundraiser and there was
a lot of black light involved, and I just wanted to do this number.
It was um Madonna's Oh I can'tremember the name of the song right

(01:24:24):
now from the music album, andit's just this weird um the song itself.
Now I'm looking it up because Ineed to know what the name of
the song was because that's gonna driveme crazy. Um but I did the
number as it's it's very that hardauto tune that sounds robotic. Yeah,

(01:24:49):
yeah, the one the number fouron the fifth album from The Girl from
Her Cousin That. Yeah, that'spretty much what it was. Um it
Why is it not on this listanyway? It just it spoke to me
of a robot that was broken andshe was about to be destroyed because she

(01:25:13):
was broken. And I performed withmy hair covering my face, and my
good friend Bryce Rica, who isan amazing performer in this area, he
came out as like a lab assistantand basically at one point undressed me on
stage, and I looked like Iwas just these robotic pieces, including ripping
my wig off, and you couldsee like I painted it, that part

(01:25:36):
of my face was missing. Ihad a white contact lens in that eye.
And the lyric that sticks with meis I can't remember when I was
young, and it's kind of likeshe thinks she's a person, but she's
not. It just it. Yeah, that's some. That's some. That's

(01:26:00):
amazing. Okay. The song washaunting, so that's been on my mind.
So yeah, yeah, I gotto make it serious this time.
Yeah, um, you want meto go, you want me to go,
feel free to go. Let meask the audience. Uh So mine
was honestly my performance on the ship. Now I have done that song many
times, it was my first onethat I did. It was my coming

(01:26:20):
back at Bloomsburg University for like mysecond year when I host it, and
it was like my work mix. However, that was the performance I did
on the ship and that will foreverstick with me because the audience themselves majority
of never seen Drag before, andeven on the video I had I posted
him, I think like two weeksago of just came up memories, um

(01:26:44):
standing ovation from and everybody in thatroom, like O five down to one.
It was that'll always stick with methat moment. Yo. How about
you, Anastasia. You know,I don't really have to stand performance at
this time. I think though Ihave a couple that I'm thinking about here
and there, but nothing to theselevels. To be honest, I'm not

(01:27:06):
a pageant queen. I kind ofuh wearing doubt as I looked to be
purchasing a home and slowing down alittle bit. Um, So, if
I want to choose one song thatI really enjoy doing, I really enjoyed
my Hot Girl Summer mix. Uh. I think that the strongest I felt

(01:27:28):
whenever I was last performing was um, March of twenty twenty. I look
at videos and myself from back thenand was really ready to rule the world.
I was doing one woman shows andjust on the third. But um,
you know, since then, sincethe pandemic, I mean really,
my prospects have kind of like dubdisappeared in. Motivations have kind of lessened.
So that's kind of where we're at. Gotcha. Um, some more

(01:27:55):
fun fun questions here, Xander Valentinewould like to know what is on your
drag bucket list sans drag race manyone. I mean, I have a
drag bucket list that's not really justto drag this. I don't know what
they mean by sands drag race. So, uh, putting drag race off

(01:28:18):
the table all you want to dowith your drag yeah, PhD right,
uh yo, I'm gonna say itfirst. No, first of all,
thank you would give them a shoutout to my two drag children, Zander
being one of them. I don'tlove you. Thanks for commenting. If
they didn't know to Xander Valentine's race, they like, what's the resemblance Valentine?

(01:28:42):
You mean, um No, whenit comes to my bucket list,
that's not drag race. I haveso much like my like drag race is
honestly at the bottom of my bucketlist, like period. I want to
be an author that notifies drag inthe best way. I want to be
an educator thatifies drag and the bestright. Any may be like, what
do you mean by notify? Imean like I want to write a book

(01:29:03):
that responds to the idea of whatdrag can and cannot be under the under
oppression of who we are as expression. I know that's a lot of words
for some people, but as aperson who understands that art, there are
so many authors out there. Theone that comes to mind is Scaryasha of
a Different Woman, which talks aboutdrag from an Asian culture perspective. And
I love the author for to.I can't think of his first name,

(01:29:26):
but his last name is Hunter,I believe, and he is actually amazing
and I follow him on Facebook blessed, but he gave me the intimation to
talk further than that. When itcomes that, I also want to I
am I'm not will be. Iam a motivational speaker both in and out
of DRAG and DRAG will be continueto do that, to continue to be
both educational and a speaker. Formyself, DRAG has become more than just

(01:29:48):
a look you see on stage andwhat we can develop in a community.
But it is a platform for myselfto elevate the idea of who we are.
So with that being and said,my bucket list involves continuously to grow
that platform, to continuously to challengemyself UM around the world because I what

(01:30:10):
people don't know is they're not readyfor twenty two twenty twenty two. For
Trixie Valentine, I have so muchcoming up that I can't wait to show
them work. I love that. How about you, Harpy UM finally get
my hemorrhoids fixed? Uh uh no? UM. So for me, UM,

(01:30:31):
I my goal is to continue beingan activist UM and am personal speaker
for a lot of UM gain individualsin the military themselves and out. Because
it doesn't just do with dr Guestbecause he said, like there's a lot
of my words was on the Johnk Um as a guest speaker to just
literally breach hands down a lot ofhistorical moments for LGBT community and UM,

(01:30:59):
so I want to continue that route. I'm working at MWR with the first,
very very first RAG show here inthe seven five seven mid MWR under
their name, and I want tocontinue pressing, continue showing that we are
here to stay, we're out.We want our cultures seem just like everybody
else. Um And so that's oneof the biggest things on my buccali is

(01:31:19):
to continue still do along with Ido have a drag daughter, Miss Jacked
Daniels up. So I don't wantto continue to be a building the lagacy
about the Daniels family because I amthe first US family the only thing I
got first in fright Trips because shepumped everybody. I do want to continue

(01:31:43):
building and I'm not ready for morekids. However, eventually down the road,
like I want to continue because it'sa mentorship, it's it's it's taking
because like I love being a Danielslike Tequila's the first dract I've ever seen.
So I want to continue in passingand letting people know that you don't
have me a one sided against yousaid you're not a pat girl, and
I it up because when I grewup that's all there was. And against

(01:32:04):
Patrick, I love page. However, I want to continue build my form
of drag and drag leads and whatthat is is being able to be confident
and comfortable with a settling and wepolished what we want to look like anything
like my drag daughters by an example, because she's a butch at large ability

(01:32:24):
uh whatever lifting thing they do,I don't know. I don't want to
say CrossFit. I don't know,and I don't want to get it wrong.
But she's very intact with it.And she even takes that with her
drag and I eat it up everysingle time. So and she's polished it.
She going all together because that's whatshe wanted to be and that's the
form of drag. I want tocontinue down the line of stands. Um

(01:32:45):
So those are the two biggest thingsout my Moncke list, out of wonderful.
How about you, Annastasia. Ijust want to keep looking pretty.
Uh, I guess that's agree. So I just want to keep looking pretty.
I just want to keep doing likecollege shows where I can do education

(01:33:08):
sessions. I want to keep gettingpaid. Um, I don't really have
any big aspirations. They want tokeep being like the the Central Pa Lezzo
Central Pa. You know, LikeI don't really have, Like I don't
like to travel. Um, soif there's a gig nearby, I wanted
to travel within an hour's distance, that's valid though. Now I mean I'm

(01:33:35):
paid for everything. Listen, I'mI don't know, I don't know.
Um, you know, I thinkthat everyone has their own, uh journeys.
Um. I've gotten really disillusioned withdrag personally because it's it's expensive.
It's expensive, and you know,I don't talk about the expense on television.
You know, they've talked about alittle bit more on Drag Race.

(01:33:57):
But um, you know, whenyou're buying, when you're getting a hotel
room, do you have money forthat two hundred twenty dollars hotel room?
You know, and you know thatyou're going we're gonna be spending like four
hours in because you have to wakeup early to leave, you know,
gas money that takes takes an accountas well if you have a day job.
Like, there's just so many differentparts. So I just want to

(01:34:17):
continue doing things that make me happy. I'm not really looking to do things
that will really be affording any kindof career of any kind. This is
a hobby. Yeah, so that'sthat's kind of where I'm at. That's
super valid, though. I wantto see the show grow, you know,

(01:34:38):
like I said, we're making abig announcement very soon. Um.
We want to keep bringing wonderful content. Um, tonight has been absolutely incredible.
Like, I have had such agood time. I have laughed,
I have almost cried, but Iheld it back because this will run and
you know we have. UM.I want to ask just to couple more

(01:35:00):
questions from the comment section. UM, we did have one nice person who
like bombed our YouTube with the Nword. That was really cute of them.
It's okay, I already blocked him. Um. But another question from
YouTube, why is Anastasia wearing alamp shade? Oh? They missed up
here. Yeah, yeah, y'allmissed the conversation they like to know.

(01:35:21):
If you'd like to know, youcan go back and rewatch my affirmation with
Anastasia Diamond and also cash happened Benbomi. Because I'm a broke bitch period.
Yeah, I'm just think Sia exactly. I want to swing from the chandeliers.
Yeah, soap from the lamp.Listen, you know what. But

(01:35:45):
the thing is, have y'all neverseen a Christmas story? I was trying
to give the illusion of the lamp, the leg lamp. I mean,
yes, you can lamp shade.Thank you, yes, thank you,
thank you. You see you shouldlook stoppings like as a necklace and everything.

(01:36:09):
We do have one more question thatI want to answer, and this
is a doozy from the Tom Galishow. What is a good way to
get into drag? Well, youstart with your makeup and then I usually
do tights um and then an answeringthe right question. You wear your preparation

(01:36:31):
age, preparation. You have tohave preparation, age and prep and pretre
which, if you haven't seen it, go to episode sixty five of Incidi
Drag Closet. What was that yours? That's mine? With prep? I
was like, girl, okay, remember you didn't know you didn't know that

(01:36:55):
was the episode number. I'm sorry. Mine was like over a year ago.
I'm sorry since I don't remember.Yeah, not relevant, That's what
they're saying, right, That's whythey brought me back because I'm looking it
up because now I need to know. No, it's episode five, Yeah,
I need to look at what's smartlike three, right, I was
like one of the first ones. No, you're like the twentieth one or

(01:37:17):
something. Well, thanks for atleast you know mine. Someone does.
But I will say that the bestway to start is honestly seeing the For
me, it was the local queensaround me while RuPaul me opened the door,
I went out to the I gotinvolved into my community. I saw
that local queens are around me,and I think god m I simply went

(01:37:42):
up. I talked, is anyoneto get started? If you hit the
right girl sheep may just say hey, come on I and then from there
you kind of just pick it up, like like Jade's some makeup. You'll
get some some stop games, you'llyou'll eventually pick up with the best place
to actually start, go check outyour local queens in your area. Go
support them. Don't be afraid totalk to them and let them know like,

(01:38:04):
hey, I'm looking to do.This isn't something. Don't be like
will you be my drag? No, go and there I want to start,
uh see what? Don't just watchwhat they like, don't just watch
the show, see what they dohave the show, and then where you
can start. Polly cool. Youwant to be as a drag queen,
so the best pay to start yourlocal areow down the market at seven to

(01:38:26):
eleven. Yeah, and uh pleaseuh. I always say, if you're
gonna try and go out and makeup your first time, please please please
take a picture from far away, baby, because you look real cute up

(01:38:48):
in the mirror, up in yourself, you're like a bit I don't fish.
Please, for the love of God, take a picture from far away
and you will realize that as aman Maori, let's food. I'm just
saying I may be working on aproject that answers a lot of these questions,

(01:39:09):
but I'm glad that we have theinput now. I won't tell the
project now, but it's very educationalfor me, I will say. The
other thing I want to say isconfidence, character building, in stage presence.
Those are things people don't think about, because if you're not comfortable being
on a stage, you're like, you may be frightened. You may know
that now, but like, ifyou've never thought about what it's like to

(01:39:30):
be in front of people, likeyou need to practice, like even if
you visualize it, find someone thatyou can be like this is how I'm
feeling and talk to those feelings likethat's a stab. A lot of people
don't talk about character building as well, so like who is your drag persona?
And why is that your drag persona? And how do you feel when
you're in drag? Like do notget in drag the first time and then

(01:39:53):
go out on the station and todiscover who you because I think it can't
be great as Josh Harvey munches onwhatever they're much. I get you are
so beautiful, but you like youmight actually end up having an anxiety attacking
that that of your own safety becauseyou're like exactly, I didn't know I
felt this way like you. Alot of our at least I can only
speak for myself and even Harvey, like a lot of our first times in

(01:40:14):
drag was not in front of people. We were in our room. We
were on our own. Yeah aboutthe pro we processed that piggy back.
The biggest thing Guy I can't standis help people pressure you because of I
can't help people pressure so um thatyou have to look so good when you

(01:40:38):
out your first time girls, Idon't want to hear that. No nobody
looks that good even to this day, Like I practice might makeup as they
show up, and I'm like, okay, girl, you do look cute,
but like what's your name? Areyou gonna go up there and do
something? Are you just gonna lookcute? But the questions you get over
time, like and those are thethings that carried, Like I think tricksy

(01:40:59):
need a great example. You canget the most bust down or both camp
or whatever your your style of dragons, but if you don't have a personality,
no one care. And it's noteven just a personality, like you
have to have something, you know. Yeah, also learn how to paint
your own faces and stop paying. But the paint your face period, like
it's it's it's it's it's too much, it's too much. I got a

(01:41:21):
lot of problems with people. Uhyeah, how many problems? How many
problems do you have? I gotnine and none problems? But any one
my own face sing one like Igot nine problems, but I can hold
it down. Yeah my face,I'm so sorry. I'd also add like

(01:41:50):
entitlement, like and I say thisin two different ways. The first way
is that if you're about to startdrag you're not entitled to anyone else's time
or any period. You're not walkinto a place acting like you own it,
because I promise exactly the people alreadythere have already worked, yes,
beyond what you have, so youbetter be understand the idea of um compassion,

(01:42:15):
kindness and just knowing your place. But let me I watched the girl
ruining her entire career. She ain'tno draguly, she was never undracquly.
She was a little u. Sheliked to wear makeup to a little little
white boy and makeup. Uh.But she ruined her career with with three
little words not like her. Assomeone was painting person that she was pointing

(01:42:41):
to, happening to be the painter'shusband, career was over. I mean
with the other form of entitrement, though, is understanding that as a new
performance. And this is the hardpill to swallow new people. Also,
they can work very hard to getwhat they're at, but they also have
the ability for their own boundaries tonot owe anyone else any form of thing.

(01:43:05):
Because I've watched too many new peopleget swallowed up by people who are
veterans and use them for their ability. People anyone that wants get dragged.
While we don't ask you to beentitled on cocky to the four of us
on here, because every will saythe four of us are very kind,
genuine and unique individuals who we allhave our own stories of making sure we

(01:43:28):
build our communities. But I willsay there are unfortunate drag individuals who like
take advantage of new people. AndI was like, I don't let anyone
taken let anyone take advantage of youlike you. No one is entitled to
your own time and work. It'strue. And do the drag you want

(01:43:53):
to do. Love the drag youwant to do. Don't do the drag
that thing you think it's gonna makeyou famous, Don't do the drag I
think you think it's going to makeyou more money. Do the drag you
want to do because the audience willfeel that and they will understand your passion
and that, yes, your jobmore fun. Why do it if it's
not fun? Yeah? The otherthing is like, so okay, cool.

(01:44:15):
If you want to if you wantto be in the in the biggest
clubs, tworking and popping and doingyour thing, doing the top forty hits.
Making the money ring cool, Butif you're sad the entire time that
you're doing that, and you're you'renot feeling like going to the club even
though you're bringing in like six hundreddollars a thousand dollars, and like,
I mean, I don't know somebody'sgirls be out there raking in money,
but like it really really you wantto be performing Willow perform Willow baby girl

(01:44:41):
likes. It's not that serious, like unless it's like your day job.
But like if you if you're doingdrags a day job, then that means
that you have fans. That meansyou have supporters and they're spilling to support
whatever you whatever you're putting out there. Just as long as you're giving one
hundred and ten percent in what you'redoing, that's all the matters. Eggs
And you know what if someone saysyou have to wear three I one,

(01:45:02):
you don't, you know? Andalso you should you should though you don't
have to, but you should. You also don't have to learn nail By
the way, don't don't listen topeople talking about you how to wear nails.
Baby. If I made the mistakeof listen, I made so many
mistakes. When I first started doingdrag, I wasted so much money.

(01:45:23):
I bought multiple sets of the samewith the wig for no reason. I
was like, why did you dothis? Like I bought, I got
my I got a medic. Hereis done. My ship's pop drive off
is I was putting my tights on. So understand, like these queens,
the Drag Race queens, they arenot reality. They are reality TV.

(01:45:44):
They are television, but they're notthe reality of what you're gonna be going
through. So take your time, mama, take your time, yea.
And when you meet those girls, understand they do what we do exactly.
They've had that amazing platform. Somany of them are so many wonderful human
beings. We've gotten to meet awhole bunch of them. But they're still

(01:46:05):
humans, they're still people. Whatthey've started from exactly. Yeah, when
you start, remember where you startedroute exactly. Now we are way over
our time, but that's okay.Because my husband always gives a little helpful

(01:46:29):
drag tip, just a little preface. Derek does run the biggest drag show
here in central Pennsylvania called Diva's downUnder. By the way, if you
have not gotten your tickets yet.You can find us on Facebook U Chicken
Master un As a show director,he likes to impart some of the knowledge

(01:46:51):
that he has, and his helpfuldrag tip for this evening is is pretty
blunt. So we're gonna get intothis and I love it. There it's
helpful drag tip. If you cannotconsume alcohol at a gig in a responsible
way that allows you to still doyour job effectively, then you shouldn't drink

(01:47:12):
at all. If you want toparty, pay for a ticket and sit
in the audience like everyone else. It's not cute. Well there's that.
There's that say, wow, spicy, I was thirsty, thirsty, Yeah,

(01:47:34):
I could listen. It's true.I get sonar like Barre. These
queens go out there and they area slot. They are a mess.
They are out there drunk on thedance floor, not knowing most of their
words, like baby girl and likeI really like So. I live an
hour away from most of the gigsthat I do normally, and so because

(01:47:56):
of that, I don't drink.I don't think at all because I'm like,
maybe girl, I gotta get home. I'm not trying to wreck.
So I remember this one in time, this girl who was very, very
big had a very big substance useissue that she was working through. Look
at me and she said, oh, why aren't you drinking? And I
was like, oh, you know, I just thought I don't really drink
right like when I'm performing. Andshe's like, oh, you're a good

(01:48:19):
girl, and I was like,no, I just like I like to
not die whenever I'm driving home.Yeah, I don't have an uber ride
so bad. It really is bad. I mean so many queens like,
have a drink, have a drink, but don't get sloppy, don't exactly

(01:48:41):
know your limits, because girl, you're not there to drink, You're there
to put on a show. Andsorry, I don't want to cut you
off. And I will say this, the reality and understanding queer culture is
there is an under over understanding andhigher percentage you're drunken alcohol abuses. So
let me put that out there whenthat's there, So if you let me.

(01:49:03):
And because I take this real understandingcase management services and where I've worked
and where I do work. Soeven though we are talking on the understanding
of not trying to be shady, but it is a reality. If you
need help find find those resources, know those resources, because I sat in
too many dressings where I'm like, girl, do I need to drive you

(01:49:25):
home? And then the next day, girl, let me give you a
pamphlet out of pure respect, AndI say it in that way. Now,
I know in this comment may havejust been like you have that one
night that you get sloppy. Trustme, We've all been there. But
I do want to put the realityto their life. If you really need
help, get help, get help, girl, we're here, or get
help. But at the same time, if you're here to get sloppy,

(01:49:45):
you won't be booked again, period, period. Exactly. There's a wonderful
see in the audience right there foryou to get sloppy. Yep, queen,
Okay, exactly, Well, kids, we have reached the end of
our program for the evening. ButI did want to give everybody a chance
to say goodnight and you know, talk about what they have coming up,

(01:50:10):
starting with the lovely Anastasia Diamond.I'm hungry. Good night girls. Boy.
Yes, go get tested, period, That's all I gotta say.
Go get tested for everything, COVID, HIV, get on, Fred,
we're condoms the top. I shouldnot elect you all about this stuff at

(01:50:31):
e top week and week again. But I'm gonna do it episode sixty five
period look up episode sixty five andepisode eighteen. I really, I really
hope I'm sixty five. I reallyhope I remember that right. But I'm
pretty sure you'll be able to dowhat I look like if you go back

(01:50:53):
on that episode period confidence Now sheout what happened? No, I have
it sixty five. I'm not sayingI'm wrong. I'm welcome now. I
need to know, the world needsto know a lot of eighteen eighteen eighteen
eighteen is it? Episode sixty five, Episode sixty five best? Well,

Wow. Wow, it's lies. It's all lies. Yeah, I'm
I'm always saying this because we're live. No. Um no, that's so

(01:54:25):

that side. But also the likedrag they've never had, so I'm who

(01:56:17):
