(02:47):
and the sapphire rings are of courseby Rocks by Cox. This lovely frock
is by one of my favorite designers, that would be the Love Shop from
Gainesville, Florida. And Selma andLouise here come from you to you from
Elia's closet. So I love it. Let's see who's watching here tonight.
Hello, Kenneth, Cassie's watching, hey, she says, Hey, ladies,
(03:09):
Hello, Hello, Marcine carry say, looking hot? Well, honey,
you should know. Oh my goodness. So let's bring in my two
co hosts. We have the lovelyand talented Jay de Vere as well as
my daughter Anastasia Diamond. Come onin, everybody, I'm all the way
(03:34):
over here. Hi, the magichas begun. We have two of our
super fans with us tonight. Vickyand Robin say hello, Vick and Robin.
Hi, Hi, Hi. Howare you feeling so far? Ladies?
Pretty good? She's like, Ihate this. Stop stopping well,
(03:57):
Vicky, tell him what you toldus earlier. I usually never put makeup
on, like this is a hugejumping out of my comfort zone. I'd
pretend to put it on, we'reasked too, but I would not actually
do that. So this is samesame yeah, same for me too.
Oh I love it. Hi,mom my mom's watching Tammy Ruby, Hi,
(04:21):
beautiful, Yes, yes, yes, da code in a well,
Hey baby, how are you doingthis evening? Thank you so much for
watching. We have a Ryan AngelHi or Ryan. Nice to see it
nice to have you with us.Oh lord, I love that o'rian and
the twins here have formed a bitof a bond. Now, Yes,
(04:45):
and Ran actually uh messaged me thismorning at five o'clock for the morning thank
you, um, asking Ron andI to be backup dancers. Um,
which they do Irish are are shocks. So that's right, that's such an
honor, such an honor. Ican't wait to see it. Hey,
(05:09):
I'm there. I will definitely comewatch absolutely Anastasia. Baby. How are
you feeling, baby, honey, bunny, honey, honey, I'm doing
well. I'm doing well. Thanksfor giving me a phone call here.
Um, I am just trying tokeep cute, keep cool. I am,
you know, trying my best notto do black face this evening.
(05:40):
Girl. I wish I could seeyou, but the cameras all turned around,
right I know. I mean,I'm looking absolutely delicious this evening.
Oh well, And the funny thingis the camera is turned around because the
two of them are not going tobe able to see their faces until we
are done. That's right. It'sgoing to be as apes. No peak
in here, ladies, no peakin air, and a little twist on
(06:04):
it as well, um, Anastasia'spainting Robin right now and Jade's painting Vicky.
Um, they're going to switch halfwaythrough. I guess that's what we're
gonna do. Ladist yep, okay, so they're gonna switch and finish the
other person's work. I love it. I asked the girls. I was
like, what aspects of our facesdo you want? And so Robin is
(06:30):
going to be getting eyes by Anastasia. And the funny thing is Vicky wanted
Amethyst's eyes. So I am actuallygoing to attempt to paint Amethyst's eyes.
You can do it. You cando it. I will guide you through.
I'm right here for you. Baby. I got you. I believe
before when we all painted as eachother, Yes, and baby, you
(06:50):
looked so good. I loved yourlook. That was a lot of fun.
It really was, because I thinkit took us all out of our
comfort zones the best ways exactly exactly. So you never know what you're going
to learn, you know, especiallywhen you paint other people's faces or you
try somebody else's look. You know. I'm okay. I thought I was
(07:14):
trying to do white face because youdid. I did not know. Victorian
Elizabeth, it really could. Thankyou. I love it so for all
our viewers out there. As youknow, we like to share the light
and the love. We also wantto share the success of this show.
(07:36):
So right now, get on yourphones and share this live video. Let
them know to tune in, letthem know that they're missing a hell of
a good time. Okay, I'llwait, I'll wait while you do it.
Don't worry. I can always putmore makeup on and when on this
side, not sharing right, shameon you. No, I'm just kidding.
(08:00):
That's shame for you and all ourviewers out there. When you do
share that video, make sure youput hashtag shared in the comment section.
We are watching. We see whyyou sleep. I'm just kidding. Oh
no, that's Santa Claus. Youwant to wake up to that in the
middle of the night. No,you don't. I'm telling you now,
you don't. You see that'll takethat'll take the life right out of here.
(08:24):
I'm just saying. I'm just saying, is everybody reading for Christmas?
Now? You know? I amready for Christmas? Break? Oh honey,
you're doing so well though. Iapplaud you, my baby, I
truly do. You're you're a hardworking woman. So yes, you're doing
(08:46):
good things. I recently have aninteraction at work that, um, really
put some fire under my behind.Remember why I'm here, Remember why I'm
doing this work. So I'm excitedto continue and to go even harder than
before. I like that. Ilike that because it, as hard as
(09:07):
it is, it has to atthe end of the day, give you
a good feeling, you know whatI mean, Like I don't know.
I'm proud of you, so keepdoing what you do. Absolutely, I'm
just checking the comment section. I'mnot ignoring all of you. Don't worry.
I'm doing Jade's job tonight. Sonow I see how difficult it is.
So kudos kudo's to Jade for keepingit together. For inside the dry
(09:31):
closet. I love it. Let'ssee here, who else it's watching?
Heidi's watching. She says, Hey, girls, these are my sisters from
another mom. I had no yep, She's yeah, work, Oh my
(09:54):
gosh. So tell us more aboutyour colleges. We were talking a little
bit about before that. We gotthat before we started. So, um,
what where what did you all study? I was a sociology major and
an answer a minor. Fabulous,Yes, lovely, that's right. We
were talking about that earlier. Sothen I assume that you two were fairly
(10:18):
close in age, were you? Were you all like going to the same
school. Oh, yes, that'sright, that's right. They're real.
Yeah, like I'm not smart abouteverything. I have a master's degree,
but I didn't say I was anexperts degree as well. Fabulous in sociology.
(10:39):
No, actually, believe it ornot. My master's degree is in
leadership, a church leadership, churchleadership seminary. What leed you? What
led you that route? Then? When you were going to school? For
when I either wanted to be workingat church camp or be a youth pastor.
(11:03):
But I'm not in either of thoseseals. I sell tickets as a
travel clerk at Karl Barracks, soI could just uh serve the men and
women who serve our country. Ilove it every single day. Today was
actually my last day before um theholiday break. So wow, my Christmas
(11:28):
break? Congratulations? So yeah listen, Oh no, I actually went to
church camp when I was when Iwas younger. See what happened? You
see what they did? Don't go? My first real friend that I made
(11:52):
at church camp? Yeah, soit's yeah, like he's an absolute deer.
H I miss him every single day. Whenever I see on Facebook,
I'm like, how are you doing? Yo? So like like fun,
(12:15):
but usually that you're just like,is this really very easily? Sounds good?
That learned how to play Dungeons andDrayings because it was like I was
too busy practicing for talents um,the talent jobbing um. You were,
(12:37):
oh not dragging her through summer school. Oh my gosh, this is fun.
This is fun. Yeah. SoI did so poorly and grammar like
my Greek grammar class. I gotit. I was like, you know
what, Yeah, I just askedVicky what color she would like for her
(13:03):
eyes. Yeah, and I'm gonnamatch the top she's wearing and say what
you just said to me, butsay it loud go home. Oh okay,
absolutely, baby, Yeah, herface about to get Wait a minute,
your friend Robin Kenna says, stoppedstop crying, and says, stopped
(13:30):
crying, stop crying. Unfortunately, every time I do my makeup, even
like just eyeliner, it just makesmy eyes water. Yeah. Anytime I've
(13:50):
ever painted somebody else, I hadso many people that like eyeliner just was
like not their thing. You couldn'teven go near their eye with anything or
it would just water or they'd blink. And I'm like, okay, drags
just not for you. Maybe youand I were talking about that earlier.
Because she doesn't wear makeup, sowe're kind of like, I'm gonna go
(14:11):
a bit exaggerated underneath the eyes becauseshe does have very sensitive eyes. So
we're gonna get creative. Where there'sa will, there's a way. Honey,
we'll get it on you. We'llget it on I think you like
it or not? I love it, ladies. How are you feeling so
far? What's what's like? Thegood and the bad. I'm kind of
(14:31):
used to it because of being atheater person. True, true, I'm
just learning to have to. Ijust I dragged her here, kind of
drove doing this. Send a blockon your foot while you're pressing the gas
(14:54):
oos, don't worry, you onlyhave another hour to sit there. Oh,
I love it. So are wedoing wigs and everything? So I
challenge the two of them, sincethey are Irish step dancers, they brought
their step dance hair. Okay, great, sure, wonderful. Wonder we're
(15:16):
talking about the similarities and the differencesbetween like a drag wig and the hair
they wear for that. That's hey, that works. Yep, all right,
let's look like love this look somuch. You're like you you need
to come with us everywhere we go. We actually, funny enough, when
I was at Rachel, like, gosh, I was one of the girls
(15:39):
were here to do my Yeah, she didn't say that. Most I do
the same thing, like showing upto gigs. I'm like, okay,
you need to paint me, justfinish this, which is because I usually
never let anybody do my makeup.Well, some quings on about that life
a lot of queens. Some queenslike to pay girls fifteen to one hundred
(16:00):
dollars every single time they perform.Sure, and then they get a maybe
a twenty dollars get a gig, right, but oh wow, oh well,
you need to let me know whowe're talking about. I like this.
(16:22):
I would like to point out thatDoris Thompson is watching tonight, so
you're enjoying this. Mom's watching.I love that. Thank you for watching.
Yes, Oh Jen, Jen's watching? Hi Jen? How are you?
Derek gamble ERNT says, I loveyou all. Derek he's I'm sorry.
(16:48):
You know I love you to stopto stop it. So, speaking
of Derek's I did want to takea moment to give a huge snout out
to my dragson Michael, who ateleven fifth Team last night became a mother.
Ongradulations, Yeah, congratulation. Myhusband is thrilled because you named the
(17:08):
baby almost exactly his name. Seriously, Derek Robert Bye, I can so.
I see your father's your favorite.Okay, that's how it is.
It's fine. Oh, tune innext week to find out. Oh,
I love it. Oh, Soback to painting people. Cassie made a
(17:32):
comment earlier because what does she say? Amy has stabbed me in the eyes
so many times I'm desensitized. Iused to do her all the time,
Like we lived together up in Wimp'spotfor a number of years, and she
would have either different events or shewould do karaoke and she made do my
makeup, and I would do hermakeup, and I would always stab her
in my eyes. In all defense, it was a terrible brush. It
(17:52):
got real, real bristly, Soit's not my fault. I'm sorry,
I'm better now we can do itagain. I actually did make up is
Robin crying again? No, she'sdoing so so well. I'm not saying
a thing. I'm so happy.I'm so proud. I think he's like,
(18:18):
are we done yet? Are wedone with this? Are you suffering?
I'm trying to remember to breathe.Oh. Mary Smith says hi to
Jade, Robin and Vicky love youall? Come on man. Tabitha says,
yes, my breakfast or breakfast bodies. Maybe maybe she met Tabitha.
(18:44):
I mean, I got the milkingcookies for you right here. But you
know, yes, speaking of amazingAmethyst lady. Oh yes, they're definitely
definitely my favorite newest acquirement. SoI do have to say, like Robin
(19:07):
and Vicky have been two of ourstaunchest supporters. Yes, what what is
it like stepping on this side tonightto get all dolled up? Who every
wants to start? Actually it's prettycool. Um. But again, like
we were saying earlier, it's kindof weird to be on the side because
(19:30):
we're so used to sitting at homewatching and chatting. So but um,
it's really cool to get a chanceto see on this side, to see
what you guys do. Um formakeup wise, give you appreciation for behind
(19:51):
you know what I mean, Sobecause a lot of people don't really understand,
but now you too will be tormentedfor the rest of your lives from
this. One of the musicals thatI really love, um is the musical
Cats, and sort of the stepby step process is putting the bass on,
powdering it, and then building thecat face out of that base.
(20:12):
So I kind of have a similaridea of what kind of goes into it.
Yeah, definitely, I keep forgetting. I have a voice that I
can talk to again to questions foryou guys, for the guests, so
(20:38):
it's like it's really it's cool andit's an honor to be a guest for
you guys. I'm just trying tosit still so that I don't care anything.
If you move around, I canalways repaint it later. That's true.
And you always talk about that.Hello everybody, who is that Sandy
(21:03):
trade? Yeah? Naissance Fair friends, Um pay Fair. This was my
second season, um, thank youd um. And then with the Jersey
Fair, I've done two seasons aswell. How did you all get um
(21:26):
into it? Yes, yep.I did the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair back in
the late nineties early two thousands.Yeah, and then I became a director
at the New Jersey Fair. Um, and Robin and I worked together.
(21:51):
Even though I've switched apartments since then, we still frequently like we see each
other all the time, and it'skind of are you suffering no breathe that's
the thing. Um. But yeah, So Robin auditioned for New Jersey and
(22:14):
which was interesting for me because I'min the casting room, UM and I
I I didn't. It's it's weirdbecause you want to help your friends,
but you don't want to show favoritismat the same time, and I knew
Robin's first year she auditioned. I'msorry, I'm going to tell this story.
(22:36):
Um, the audition didn't go theway she had planned. Nope,
but thanks, but you still gotin on your own merits than they asked
me. Um. They asked mea few questions. Um, basically,
if I wanted to use my saveon her, I was like, that's
not how she wants to get in, and she got so. Yeah.
(23:02):
That was an interesting experience because Iwas there sitting and waiting for her to
finished auditioning, and she comes outand she goes running sobbing into the bathroom.
I'm going, oh, now whatdo I do. I'm just like,
(23:23):
so I just sat there and I'mlike, she'll come out when she's
ready. Yeah. So I hadbeen working for months on a Shakespearean monologue
and I thought I hadn't memorized.I walked into that room and it disappeared,
completely disappeared. I got like thefirst maybe two lines out and then
(23:45):
it was gone. Singing is fine. Like I chose a musical theater piece
that I knew very well. Um, apparently Vicky could hear me belting.
Yes, one stopped talking and doors. Yes. Shakespeare and I have a
(24:08):
love hate relationship. Well, thispast summer I actually wash and amplete at
Pia Fair. I first started asone of the infom mistress at the front
gate and then was switched into theAbbey bookstore. And let's just say I
(24:32):
had I had a great time.To anybody who's watching from Fair, I
would have rather stayed in the infobox, which is outside and it was
people's traffic all day long. WhenI got moved down to the Abbey bookstore,
I felt like I got forgotten.I was like, oh, it's
(24:52):
just an abbey. And they walkedright by so I spent most of my
day by myself. Was do youall know who George Hamilton is? What
do you know who George Hamilton is? Love him? Cassie was asking if
any of you knew who George Hamiltonwas. He's worked the pa Renfair for
(25:14):
sure, and she went to highschool with him. Oh, I've directed
him in Jersey. Look at that. I love we love him with him,
and Kara Anderson says, missing you, Robin and Jade been waiting for
the Twin makeover for so long.Hea, Kara's watching, Thank you all
(25:41):
so much for tuning in tonight.Isn't this fun? I'm having a great
time. I love those um SandyTrait says he is still there. He's
a night now for Noble cause.Yes, okay, cool moll freaking what
They were all like, No,he's not. He is a stable boy.
(26:03):
No, not like he helped meat the horseback riding lessons that we
had. It was ever yes andum the best part of stirrups, weren't
They couldn't get them short enough forme, And so that the actress who
was playing Queen Elizabeth showed up andI so I had to um give her
(26:26):
give up the horse. I wasriding for her because it was a Bacchanalian
workshop. So it's like, Itotally get it. Um, it's a
way for them to get um usedto riding. And when she had to
leave, I got to get backonto the horse and they're like, we're
not even gonna worry about the stirrups. And I decided to trucks without eating
(26:49):
the stirrups, and um, itwas the coolest experience ever. Like you
know that that that flying like feelingof flying that was I was when I
had when I had the trot.It was not a good time. I
can tell you that. You're talkingabout something else, ma'am. Oh,
(27:11):
okay, thank you. I'm sorry. She's pretty. I got the meat,
I got the meats. Okay,Oh my goodness. This is looking
good. Everybody. I'm loving this. This is or changing lives. Look
(27:37):
like there will be none of that. Your eyes look like mine, Vicky,
you're doing color. I love it. I love it. So did
everybody decorate for Christmas this year ornow? Sort of a little bit?
(27:59):
I think that's the general sent justlike across the board, everybody, Yeah,
I feel that. Oh no,we're crying oh we're crying again.
There's no crying in baseball. I'mglad everybody's like baseball, they're not playing
base I was like, oh,I don't know that quote. Oh damn,
(28:22):
DNA stage are you young thing? You I'm a virgin flower? Oh
well that is from the movie ALeague of their Own with Madonna and um
Jade um Donald, thank you, thank you. I played the Brady child.
(28:48):
Oh that that little child was aYeah. I would definitely not be
able to ride a horse with withthis rack. Like seriously, Lord,
I thought you're right, or Brian, You're absolutely right about that. Christmas
(29:08):
came fast this year, how hesays, Yeah, like the end of
the year came fast like it dida month ago. There was a crazy
on January sixth that we we're alltalking about, and like, I just
I don't know, I just feellike things just changed so quickly so long
ago. Yeah, I mean though, right, yeah, this is I
(29:36):
can definitely say this year has beenlike my busiest year as far as entergy.
Oh yeah, it blew by.It's been a wonderful year. The
blessings this year have been just phenomenal. But I'm like, wait, isn't
it still like June or something.Because ye, the other day I was
(29:57):
going through it because I was likein a panic because I was like,
I'm ready for Halloween now, oh, like my brain was ready for Halloween,
but it was not Halloween time. There's a random man who just walked
into our house. Oh my god, are you being robbed? Should I
(30:18):
send assistance? No, we're good, We're good. No. I wasn't
gonna come back. But I foundAnastasia something while I was shopping. Is
it a negro do? Wow?Did she? Oh? Stop work?
(30:41):
Oh my god, I'm gonna movethe camera so the audience can see everything.
Look at her. Yes, thisis like a dress. What is
this address? This is a dress, isn't it? Yes? Thank you?
(31:06):
And I was like, Anastasia,Yes, oh my gosh, yes,
thank you. I always show upunless I am not well. Unless
I am not well, Come on, my African queen. I love it,
literally that like, I'm so excited. I can't wait to put that
(31:30):
on happy Kanab. Yes, Iappreciate you. Thank you. Did you
read like all the words that areon it too? No? I served
it very quickly. You know, she can't read. Listen that part.
I'm like seven beautiful problem. Werethey gonna tell me when I wear as
(31:53):
the work listen conversation about this allloveliness and so I can't wait. Thank
you so much as Chas. Allright, I love you. H for
hugs, Yes, I like hugs. Thank you, Lillian Dolla. What's
(32:22):
your talking about? All the wordsI said? We're English? No,
yes, um, it's like agold bar looking um. Oh yeah,
(32:44):
we've now gotten into the point thatVicki has been dreading. Oh yeah,
that's my favorite. And remember actuallynot anywhere near your eye. Yeah,
for ice perspective. It looks likefrom that perspective too. So I'm going
(33:07):
a little far from the eye, just because Vicky does have sensitive eyes.
But I'm trying to create some negativespace. I should have gone in here
with the clown white first, butI didn't do this. I'm pretty but
not. I have a little bitof negative space. M hm. That's
what we call Thamma and Louise overthere, cliff jumpers. Oh my god,
(33:32):
look at he. I'm gonna needa minute now. Oh my god,
Krishna is watching. Hey, Krishna, hi baby, how are you
throwing Mamita? I hope I justdidn't say a bad thing to you.
So yes, right, she says, hey, ladies, sending lots of
(33:57):
kisses and hugs. Akasha, Ilove it. I'm excited to see you
soon. I'm not gonna say why, because I don't know if you put
that out there, so I'd bettersee you soon. You know, you
know what I'm talking about. Thatwas vague but not you know that's what
That's what I go for. Vaguebut no, yeah, you know what
(34:17):
I mean. Blatantly vague, exactlycome out vague, m I vogue?
Um, so, ladies, whatproducts are you using tonight? What makeup
products are you using? Um?Actually? Uh, miss Anastasia here was
an absolute gem and ran to Altato buy the girls their own makeup from
(34:40):

(40:43):
very important about our patreon as well. Yes, since the show is rated,
are you have to search the entiretitle? You cannot just search a
couple of the words in it.Um, you have to look specifically for
inside the drag closet all one word. That's good to know that unless you
want us to move to a PGrating and stop swearing. But um,
(41:07):
I don't think anybody wants that.Leaving the show, she'll be asked to
leave the show. She won't beable to say nothing, yeah I wasn't
here silently, Oh baby, wecan't have that. I can't have my
girl be silent over my mouth andthe test a series of talking about um
(41:31):
talking about censoring. Did you walkhear recently about the censoring that occurred on
Twitch. For one UM reporter,he was speaking about being called He's he's
a Muslim American UM, but hewas speaking about being called the slur cracker,
and like he was like people callmenist and it's like, I don't
(41:52):
really care about it because like Dadawell in him saying like he doesn't really
care about it because he's not white. He's like it comes from a place
of like empowerment for black people whoare being whipped at the time. UM,
Like he got banned on Twitch becausehe was using the slur cracker.
(42:14):
Huh, what in the cracker?Barrel messes that and that's what that's kind
of what the I was watching ourreport and they were going over that.
They were like, are we ableto say like seaword Barrel, right,
are we to cancel every company thathas a white man on the logo?
(42:35):
Like what can we talk about?Like can we talk about sea words and
cheese on charkoutree boards charcouchie boards.Well, I love me from Sarcoutrie baby,
I love of scale lunchaboles, Yes, right right, but yeah,
that was I was like, Oh, let's not go to twitch because we're
(42:55):
gonna get in trouble. And doyou remember whenever we did the open stage
show or whenever I oh and yougot them cut off of TikTok. Well
it wasn't me. We were shewas talking about boy parts. No,
we were talking about we were usingtheir right. You're using the word queer,
(43:16):
and so because queers like see asa slur as well, it's like,
it's not a slur. Jamie Angelwas just like saltines, Yeah,
as American. I feel very attacked. Sine American, Saltine American. I
(43:37):
can't. Oh, listen, Ilove a bad really quickly, like the
best best cracker, like yeah, yeah, trackers. Really to our viewers
(43:59):
out there, what's your favorite crack? Your favorite crack for everybody? Oh,
I don't say your grandma. Yes, it probably is to make room
(44:21):
for me at Christmas? Oh.Chating on each other, Oh my god,
I I know you and Derek arehaving sex and sexual relations. I
was like, no, the twoof you are. That is less work
for me. I don't believe ifyour grandma said that, you said there
ain't no relations, We ain't havingno relations. After that day, I
(44:49):
never lived down. Listen again, sometime soon, daddie, it read me
the Riot Act and parking one,nor have mercy. Somebody please ask a
question. For God's sakes, damnit to hell. I'm searching through these
comments, like we can do betterthan this. We're Vicky and Robin.
(45:10):
Since you are here with us,what is one thing you always wanted to
ask us? I had one,UM, thank you, thank you?
Besides this show. What is oneof your major accomplishments throughout your careers starting
now? I love that question.Oh, I love that question. I
(45:37):
would say one of my most majoraccomplishments is UM. Being able to build
a platform where I can UM speakout about UM sexual education, not just
here on the show, but alsobeing able to do one woman shows where
I'm doing that kind of work,Being able to do UM like said currently
(45:59):
where I'm working right now, beingable to pair drag with my work.
It's all very important, and it'sall very like. It's awesome to work
for an organization that allows me towork do this kind of work while also
being a drag queen and being likeflamboyantly queer and just by myself. And
(46:21):
I think that without DRAG I wouldn'tbe doing that I love that. I
love it. I'm very lucky thatI am in a job position now that
I have returned to doing shows atBooby's Brewery. I am not only playing
male characters, but I'm playing femalecharacters as well. Although I did have
(46:42):
a chat with my friend who doesthe casting for the shows, I'm like,
can I please play a boy sometimesoon? I'm playing a lot of
women right now. While it's funand it's rewarding, it's also really having
to get ready several hours before everyoneelse. They said, James, you
don't ask what is you know?I did. I do take my job.
(47:02):
I take my jag very seriously, but you know there is a time.
And they embraced me regardless. UMright, And I did have a
wonderful experience this past week. Um. One of these servers didn't quite know
who I was, and because shehad never seen me, I was playing
(47:22):
a female character and she didn't shecouldn't identify who I was, which was
really funny. So one of thebartenders is about to announce my my given
name, and he goes, Jade, can you help us? And I
was like, well, that alsotechnically was not correct, because that was
not the character I was playing, but I will take that over my Yeah.
(47:46):
Yeah, so okay, So greatestaccomplishment outside of this show, um,
getting through twenty twenty. That's that'sone of those, you know,
and being blessed with friends and familywho you know, picked me up and
supported me through all of everything thatI was going through in twenty and twenty.
(48:06):
But my greatest accomplishment, I thinkis just having that self validation that
what you're doing is right and correctand that you're on the right path in
life. Drag has taken such afast trajectory this year, and it's it's
tumbling because I feel I've always wantedto do what I love and I've finally
(48:27):
been able to step away from, you know, the nine to five aspect.
It's been twenty two years. Istarted this twenty two years ago,
and now this is my job.So just having that sense that I'm doing
something right and that I'm on theright path is an accomplishment in itself.
So yeah, Mama, that andand it's it's not even me. I'm
(48:51):
proud that I'm in a spot whereI can reach out to my sisters and
help them grow. I'm proud thatI can go to places that don't understand
quite what we do in the LGBTcommunity and open their eyes. And you
know, and I have to saythis show, I have to give the
show credit because this has given allof us such a platform to really put
a message out there of love andlight and understanding and bring people together,
(49:14):
you know what I mean. SoI can't not credit this show, you
know, halle Yeah, hallelu Soto tech onto that I am very proud
of the work we are doing withthis show. And you know, I
think this is a good time tomake the announcement that I was going to
wait for the end of the episode. Sorry, I'm gonna get a little
(49:36):
closer to Vicky because I kind ofwant to be on screen for this.
Um So, next week's episode,m our guest is going to be Ted
Vanson, who is the person whoruns WLFE toshdb dot com. The reason
Ted is joining us one he helpedus found this show. He kicked my
(49:57):
butt and was like, hey,we were in lockdown. Nothing is going
on right now. Do you wantyour own show? And I fought against
it for a couple of weeks andthen I was like, you know what,
let's do this, and we havemade the difficult decision. Next week's
episode is going to be our lastepisode on WLFE. Now that does not
(50:20):
mean it is our final episode. We are moving on without WLFE starting in
the new year, and we areeternally grateful for Hey, there's my sharpener.
We were looking for this three hoursago. Anyway, Always I made
that moment beautiful. We will alwaysbe grateful to WLFE. We are very
(50:46):
excited to have Teddy on the shownext week, but we believe it is
time for us to move off onour own. So sadly, for anyone
who is listening to the show oniHeartRadio, Spotify, or any of the
other streaming services, for the timebeing, you will not be able to
listen to us on those streaming services, but you can always watch us every
(51:07):
Wednesday at eight thirty pm right onFacebook or on YouTube. Also, I've
said it before and I'll say itagain, we have a ton of content
coming up for Patreon. We areworking on some fun ideas. My first
project for Patreon, I am goingto be cutting out new hip pads for
(51:28):
myself so you can see how Icreate the figure of Jade de Vere Because
I am built like a triangle andJade is built like an hourglass. Yes,
with some time to spare, butshe's about an hour and a half.
But you know that is coming downthe pipe. What what did you
say to me? You're built beyondphone six? Yes, yes, but
(51:54):
yeah, I didn't mean to bringthe show down. But I did want
to make that announcement. You did. We didn't, you know, look
look at it like this, Jade. A year ago, we were switching
um to Roku, you know whatI mean. So we were always growing
(52:14):
and we're always getting better. Andwe had that one amazing episode on Roku.
We did, we did, andlike, oh and we will never
be on Roku again. Now that'show we got banned from ye so you
(52:38):
know, the rules on that werestrict, Like we I had to remind
everyone, if you're gonna smoke it, please don't do it on camera,
and please make sure it is nota cannabis item. Uh no drinking on
camera. We got rid of them. It was wild girl, Bride.
(53:00):
I am ready to switch whenever youare. Yes, Like, I'm really
really exciting. Okay, cool lips, you get her lips, I'm gonna
get So you're at the halfway mark, how do you two feel? Yeah,
(53:22):
hired? Valid? Right? Ohshit, I can't see the computer
now, okay, all right,Annasser, you're in charge, honey bro
right, she gets to pressed thebuttons. Now, Cassie's has congratulations on
(53:43):
branching out and expanding, break aleg in the new year. Thank you,
Cassie, Thank you very much. You know, growth, growth takes
several things. You know, ittakes you know, hardships, and if
you want to change and you wantto grow, you have to you have
to do the hard work. Yet, we got a serious question here from
(54:04):
us Jim starn Allingham. Oh hey, Garl, She asked, I have
a hardcore mama bear question. Howto deal with the bullying? Do you
all have techniques for lgbt Q pluskids. It's probably a little harder for
kids, but I think it's actuallythe best time to teach them. Um,
just being above someone else's actions. You can't control what somebody brings to
(54:29):
you. You can't control the thingsthat outside forces and people present to you
in your every day UM, butyou can control how you react, and
that's the power. You have thepower to shut a bully down by completely
showing them that what they say isnot valid to you or affects you.
You know what I mean, Like, you can't control what people present to
(54:50):
you, but how you react toit makes all the difference. Be above
it. You're You're better than that. If someone wants to act that way,
that's all in them and that hasnothing to do with you. But
other people think of you is notyour business or problem. Okay, write
that down. Spread it to thechildren. Please. What anyone else thinks
is not your business or problem.A couple of weeks ago, I got
(55:14):
the I was asked to go intoa school, very conservative high school,
I talk to their LGBT kids. They started this group because these kids were
getting bullied on a daily basis, and they wanted to talk to me about
being a drag performer. And theperson who organized it was like, you
could either show up as a manor show up in drag. And I'm
(55:36):
like, huh, so yeah,I went and drag and I was like,
I need to show these kids thatI am not afraid I am here.
And you know, some of theteachers did have a very negative response
to it. They asked us tomove to a more secluded room so that
I wouldn't be a distraction. Andyou know what, the whole time that
(56:00):
I could see the kids were beingaffected, I was not affected by it.
I was just like, yeah, they don't get it, and that's
fine. They don't have to getit. You're all having fun, you're
all actually talking to me. They'removing the aside and they're not talking to
me. So again, their opiniondoesn't affect me period. Right, Yeah,
(56:21):
that's that's a shame, but it'sa real thing. We are still
fighting. We're still fighting. Butlike I said, it's how we react
that will make or break the situation. If you feed into the negativity,
it's only going to further fruition negativity. Yeah. But if you look at
them like, oh a poor thing, bless your heart, well, you
(56:42):
know, and the best thing youcan do is kill them with kindness.
Yeah, right now, then theydon't know what to do. They hate
it. Embrace and educate them, you know, say, you know,
thank you for the compliment, butyou know, like anything, are you
having a good time? Are you'rerunning the show? Here? Listen?
(57:06):
You see she hasn't gotten a lipon her for nothing? What have you
been doing? Girl? I've beenlooking I'm looking to one common in particular
from the one Oriyan Angel and Chard. Listen here, where's the lie?
(57:30):
Where's the lie? I was kidding. I love it though, I'm excited.
It's nice to you know, giveJane a break, you know what
I mean? Like it is?I love it. I love this.
I'm all here for it. Youknow. I'm committed. We're in it
to win it. Oh my goodness. So what we have lips and lashes
(57:54):
left? Yes? All right? What did Derek say? He says,
sound cute? Committed or should becommitted? Oh honey, I've been battling
that my whole life. Shoot, and we are having a good time.
(58:14):
Oh I love it. Oh youlook so beautiful, ladies, Look at
this. I can't wait to throwthe wigs on. I can't wait to
put the lashes on. They're gonnahate that. I will play them just
slightly above your eyes. That givesyou a little bit of space. Okay,
I love it. So do wehave a speaking of Derek, do
(58:37):
we have a helpful drag tip?We sure deal. Let me come around
to I'm sorry. We wait andlook at it. People, We're doing
this tonight. We're gonna do ittogether all right, We're gonna have Derek's
helpful drag tip of the week, which I love. I love it.
(59:00):
Oh we get to hear a lotof these back stage of divas. But
you know, all right, beready for the drag tip. You go
right ahead, baby, go rightahead. Tip. Drag time is bullshit.
Your pack of professionalism is not somethingthat can be easily nullified by a
cutesy phrase. Be ready on time, or don't accept the gig. I
(59:24):
feel very attacked. How's that?I feel very not as attacked as my
mother. Of course I should, but that's yes, He's absolutely right,
though, drag time is bullshit.People pay to come see entertainment like and
(59:45):
they don't expect to sit there foran extra ten, fifteen, twenty forty
five hour. You know, exactlybetter late than ugly. As you know,
my drag mother plays better late thanugly, honey. You know it
takes a minute. But yeah,he's absolutely right. There's been times where
I have there's been times where allof us actually have sat in a show
(01:00:09):
you welcome jagem and have waited, you know, for the DJ to get
it together or various other people inthe show to get it together or you
know, we'll leave it at that. And when it's like a genuine technical
issue, that's fine. Well I'mgoing to show up late because that's what
(01:00:30):
I do. No right, Like, even even the Queen herself, through
Paul in one of her books, stated I used to show up late for
every gig, and then I realizedI'm only hurting myself and I'm only hurting
my chance of getting booked right right, because it puts a real bad taste,
(01:00:51):
especially for the newcomers to drag shows. It really puts a bad taste
in their mouth because the chances arethey've already been there for at least an
hour to the show, you knowwhat I mean, And now they're waiting
for another hour and they've already eatentheir food, you know, And it's
it is you know, of course, Marstina Kerry, you want to remind
(01:01:13):
me that I just don't know howto leave on time after the show,
and you're very right. Look,I'm a very organized queen now, thank
you Jesus um. And it alwaystakes me like so long to get done
because well, I don't have anentourage to pack up my things. I
don't have, you know, Ido je Jake. See, you know
(01:01:37):
it takes it takes a lot ofwork, you know, especially when you're
as professional as the three of usare, and you know it's it's a
lot after an evening to keep thingstogether and keep things organized. But I'm
just justifying, you know what Imean. So if anybody out there,
I would like to be hired asa personal system, not hired. And
(01:02:04):
this is why she's my daughter. She keeps it right, you know what
I mean. If anybody would likea lifelong internship, let me know,
honey, let me know. Tassaused to be my girl, which you
know, our lives have gone inbetter ways, I understand, but I
miss her passing on my things.I could be done at a show and
(01:02:28):
she'd be like, everything's in thecar. I'm like, God, bless
you. Oh means the world thatDerek says. Step dancing seems to involve
a lot of hard impacts on yourlegs, knees, et cetera. Have
either of you, ladies, Robinand Vicky, experienced physical issues as a
result of your passion? Yes,yeah, same, Yeah, it was
(01:02:52):
same when you it's it's a funchallenge to hard shoes right right, and
I'm assuming you wear like a certainkind of heel, Like, are you
required to wear a certain kind ofshoe for this? Yes? For I
know I was. I just wehave two different types of shoes. We
(01:03:14):
have their soft gilly which if youthink of like um, ballet shoes but
with laces. Um, okay, that's what that shoe is, um.
And then we have a hard shoe, which um is completely different than a
tap shoe. UM. It's alittle thicker heel and both the front of
(01:03:35):
the shoe and the back has afiberglass tap. Are they like dance heels
like you would find it like adance skin or capizio? No, we
have to already straight from Ireland.Well okay, okay, they come from
Ireland, but we have a stateside like specialty like ballet students, they
(01:03:57):
have specialty dance through the UO too. We have UM people who they're specialty
store is strictly for the world offire step dancing and like for me personally
as a youth. When I wasin a youth, both Ron and I
and a few other people, weactually were in a really bad car accident
(01:04:19):
um. And I actually had surgerywhere I'm a Titanium rod Am, I
like, yeah, yeah. Sothe doctors, um, we're like,
we don't know if you're ever gonnabe able to dance again. So the
fact that I worked my push offand oh yeah, I know, I'm
(01:04:41):
already tearing up thinking about the lashes. Um, yeah, the pain we
just did. Let's you just dealwith it. We shouldn't has a dancer,
but that's that's her daily life.Is you. You go, you
(01:05:02):
dance, you ice, well you'resupposed to ice, and then, um,
someone's telling on herself right now.Yeah, well, Vicky, that'll
be your first drag performance will beTitanium by See. I love that song.
Actually I love it too. That'sawesome. Casey Michael's watching tonight.
(01:05:27):
Hi, Casey, thank you fortuning in. I love you, baby
boy. I miss you. Ihope to see you soon. But it's
not right on your eye, isno? I don't think so weird.
It's way above your eye. Yes, yes, drag is a little weird.
It's okay. I get it.Are a little weird too. So
(01:05:50):
Heidi did color guards for eight years, and she says she feels it now.
Yep, Heidi and I we dida year. Um, together and
call John guard. Actually, um, my tendons in my shoulder and it
was out almost half the season.Oh my goodness, geez, Louise.
(01:06:11):
That was that was a struggle becausethe director he was like, you need
to get back in there. Yeah. I don't have a shoulder. Yeah.
Hello, I was in marching bedin high school. So I mean
I didn't have any injuries or anything. Yeah, I'm really grateful. But
(01:06:31):
like color Guard, Oh yeah,it was so I loved. I only
did the one season and uh college, I didn't even because I didn't even
audition for it. I got anemail saying welcome to Garden. Okay,
(01:06:56):
so yeah, color Guard too, were shirt Yes that in middle school?
That was it. Oh my god, we're all guards experienced guard. Yeah,
because it's like, so Derek isin our living room right now watching
the show and typing in as heshould, as he should, thank you.
(01:07:30):
That's not it. No, notalso says they did color Guard as
well, and alright, and youalso put a shoe product in the chat
as well. Uh, Phase Shoesdot Com. That's just one of the
many varieties. Yes, Now,um, do you all what were your
(01:07:53):
what were your specialties and guard whereyou all rifle girls where you all just
fla yeah. Yeah, middle schoolit's just flag oh okay, okay okay.
And the year that I did it, it was all flag and funny.
The year that I did it,the theme was all Irish music.
Yeah. The first number, Iwent to our director and like, can
(01:08:16):
I dance dancer? Yeah? Hetold me know what? Yeah? And
another did did the same number thatwe did, had a dancer. How
do you see? How do you? I was freaking like, see,
I couldn't. I could. That'sso frustrating though. I hate whenever like
(01:08:40):
you know what you can do andthen people try and doubt you. It's
like, bitch, that's fine. That's their loss, truly, that's their
loss, you know, on tothe next You know what I mean?
You're worth yeah, very much,so that of knowing your worth. I
just I'm having a moment because I'veknown these two for about six years now,
(01:09:03):
and this don't make me cry.I'm not gonna make you cry.
You look like garbage. I'm lovingthis process right now. This is cute
because I never pictured this. GoodMorning. The funny thing twins, you
(01:09:25):
are serving such different drag right now. I love it, loving it like
you two have to perform a numbertogether. Robin is giving me very like
divine honestly in all the best way. And I just you're you're a comedy
campy girl, I see just beingbrazen. You're very pol yes, oh
(01:09:46):
yeah. The only thing that's hilariousbecause we were earlier we were talking about
because und was down Under um andso Paula Frost being part of your Shelley,
I've loved all her numbers that soit's just that's really cool. I
(01:10:08):
love. Oh. We do havestarting on January, well, I guess
not starting but the night of Januaryseventh, the first Friday in January,
we are doing Divas down Under itas our fifth year anniversary. We will
(01:10:30):
have the core cast numbers. Itwill be myself, Poison, Jay de
vere Anastasia Diamond, Caterina Couture Umthat I get it, and Paula Frost.
Of course you have some special openingnumbers for you. So if you
haven't got your tickets, be sureto act now because we've already we're getting
almost sold out already, aren't we, Derek, he's looking at the number
(01:10:53):
now, Yeah, pretty close. We only have that's amazing and here's how
Vicky and Robin are super fans. When they are here, Vicky knew how
many VIP we had left and howmany general admission we had. Loved.
Yeah, I love it. It'sgonna be a great show of Stoker.
(01:11:13):
It's great. There's there's a thinline there. There's a very thin line
there. Yes, absolutely, Butbe sure if you have not gotten your
tickets yet for January seventh at Diva'sdown Under, our fifth anniversary show,
Act now, babies, get itnow because it will sell out. I
promise you that it will sell out. It has for the past four consecutive
(01:11:38):
months. So you got a goodthing through performers wild yea so grateful part
of it. Okay, I dohave a question, Actually, the girls
(01:11:59):
that you have that do y'all's buckets, how do they get chosen to do
that? Just so than for stagekittens for Derek's coming a little closer to
the microphone. Oh, you've hadthe pants off and everything. So they
(01:12:19):
were our stage kittens Pol used todo in Harrisburg called risky cabaret. So
miss Kim had to step away andwasn't able to do it every month.
And when we reformatted the show.I realized very quickly that Kim had been
doing pretty much everything and the workof two different people. So I was
like, that's insane. You shouldn'tbe doing that much. So we wanted
(01:12:42):
to bring in a second person. That's when we brought in Hillary, who
is incredible and loves the backstage kindof analytics and and all that of doing
shows. And then we needed athird person just for a rotation, which
is why we brought in Lauren. So we've got a pretty good rotation.
Now. I think we're one ofthe only shows in Central PA that uses
(01:13:04):
stage kittens for drag. Now thereare for lesque variety shows that do it,
but such a handful. It's likesuch a so amazing, it's such
a benefit, Like it's so hard, Like I know, I personally dropped
all of my money all the time, and it's so nicely in the bucket.
Keep it going and keep having aconrection. And that's that's a Rehoboth
(01:13:26):
thing. We can thank Amethist forthat, because Amethist booked Jade down or
got Jade some bookings down to Rehoboth, and that's a really big thing they
do down there, is the bucketChasers, which is such an incredible idea.
Oh yeah, because you don't haveto focus on like where did I
toss my money? Yeah, it'ssorry picking up my money that I don't
know. So you know, we'vebeen for five years now, but we're
(01:13:48):
still learning and we're still growing, and I think that's one of the reasons
why we're successful at what we do. Right. And for them out there
watching the ad, they do sucha great job and just keep being an
eye on the girls and I wasjust like, oh, yeah, well,
and they've got it easy at Divasbecause at Risk they used to have
(01:14:10):
to run up two flights of stairsbetween every number. The dressing room at
Risque Cabaret is in a spiral staircase. It was a yeah, if you
can imagine, if you if youcan imagine the stairs at a high school
where it's like staircase flat, staircaseflat, that's the dressing room at Risque
(01:14:32):
Wow stairs in high school. Yeah. So but that was literally the dressing
room, like it would be twoperformers per flat. So if somebody was
on the top floor, you'd haveto run up two to three flights of
stairs just to give them their tips. So and God love Lauren. She
never complained and she wore the mostuncomfortable shoes umvas too, and then she
(01:14:54):
threw them away at the end,Sure did. She was just like,
no, you know them. Butfor everybody watching out there, that perfect
who looks, thank you so much, Robin. I appreciate that. Thank
you, we as do you.But for those who aren't familiar with the
(01:15:16):
term stage kitten, which honestly Imyself have learned a few months ago.
Um, they are a very helpfulpart of and speak to the well produced
to show that Jeva's downe under.Um, they collect our tips kind of
for us. You know, Diva'sdown under. It's a big room to
work and we end up getting handfuls, you know, of dollars, so
(01:15:38):
it's nice to have somebody to turnaround and take that for you. Um,
you know, stay with our backstagehand. You know that runs back
and forth between our dressing room andthe stage, letting us know who's on
deck and who's currently on and who'scoming up next after that. You know,
those women, kudos who those tothose women help make DVAS down Under
(01:16:00):
the success that it is. Youknow, it's not just about us queens
and you know so yeah, yeah, I love that baby is dragging you.
Robin. Oh my lantez, shesaid, get Robin some bobby pins
that keep her hairing. There aren'tany in this bag there So for Robin
(01:16:21):
and Vicky, Eve Brown wants toknow, you know, for those of
you getting the makeover, what wouldbe the first number you would want to
try to perform once made up?If you could choose any, what would
be your performance numbers? Ladies?Oh gosh, um, that is Oh
(01:16:43):
my gosh, I'm a door forthis is me. I know everyone does
it, but I love this isme so good? This is me from
the Greatest Show. Does that meanyou would I see I see Robin doing
maybe like um that song from Burlesque. I've never seen burlesque? Oh what
(01:17:05):
I know? Not sharing it?Yeah? And Christina, yeah, both
of the queen It is a movie. Yeah, I don't forget about the
wagon because I need to just beable to see my hair. I think
you're good. Actually, yeah,my wig is much bigger. Remember on,
(01:17:30):
I have a mirror right beside me. Go Before we let you see,
I want you to look at eachother and give each other a drag
name oh God, go ahead eachother. Beautiful. Wow, you look
(01:17:51):
stunning. Oh, partner first cometo my mind? Yes, I think,
yes, yes, so let's playwith that Dolly Dolly parts, Yes,
Dolly parts parts. I love it. Irish m hm hm, wings
(01:18:20):
are taken. M you're thinking,but I'm just you ladies are getting a
lot of love. Yeah, youlook amazing. Yes. Someone said they
(01:18:43):
just choked on their teeth from y'all'slooks. It's so good. They said,
get out work. You are bothsunning. Both look sunning. Yes,
looks great. Actually it's funny.I forget who it was. But
someone's like, have you thought ofa drag name since you were doing this
(01:19:04):
tonight? I was like, no, no, well I love I love
Dolly parts, and what if wedid something like, um, hm,
we could do a penny name. How about we do like I've been playing
that Drew Paul's Drag Race. Ohyeah, mobile game. There's like a
(01:19:25):
lot of these dumb little kids playit. Um but maybe I'm thinking would
be like, um, someone witha moxie like moxie and then silling,
maybe like fabulous. Yes we shouldname her Roberta Jamison, Oh, Roberta
(01:19:45):
Jamison. Yes, a little Irishtwist in there. I don't know,
that's with a little bit of Jamison. All right, fabulous, fabulous,
you may look when you're ready.Oh god, wow, oh my god,
(01:20:06):
what happened to my heart? Yeah? Alright, oh oh wow that
whoa again someone who's not used tomaking that. To me, it's just
like a little overwhelming. That's alot of makeup, it is. I
(01:20:30):
feel like we're very Actually it's givenme very like like a gent hole,
like a like a very like amotherly figure like yeah, like it's very
much so that that's funny. You'retalking about auditions because we were I was
thinking about auditioning for a pa there. I don't know, well because they
haven't announced anything or next to youso but Jade said to that like something
(01:20:55):
mothering or like it's given me verymother So yeah, that's crazy. Well,
I guess we'll be doing your makeupfor Thatt. To answer the question
about um song, I was Celindonfanatic. I've been a fan of her
(01:21:18):
since elementary school. So looking atthe colors like the her classic song from
Titanic, I know, so oneof my favorite performances I've ever seen,
(01:21:38):
and I could see you recreating thisjust looking as beautiful as you do right
now. Our good friend Belladona performedthat number years ago on a door that
was on wheels, dressed as CelineDion, soaking wet on a floating door.
Nice and she kept on blowing awhistle and at the end of the
(01:21:59):
number, she just died, Ican see you do that and it would
be amazing. Derek, my,my stage hant has just sent me a
note. We're at that stage ofthe show. Okay, this doesn't see
the two of you do a duet. Okay, say Lavie by Bewitched.
I love that band. Oh butyou yeah, I imagine that number and
(01:22:30):
then step dancing in the middle ofit. Oh yes, I'll let you
listen to I love that number.Yes, yes, so. Uh.
My question for the two of you, do you think you are going to
take anything from the makeup that wehave done tonight and just add it into
your daily thing. I know it'sa lot, but Robin and I spoke
(01:22:54):
a little bit about, you know, making her lips fuller for theater.
M Is there anything you might takefrom this? And the answer can be
no, you will not offend eitherof us. Don't speak for me.
I would you want to see yourselvesfrom far away as welcome if I can,
(01:23:15):
like, if you all see yourselveshere, Oh yeah, so different,
it looks so so different. Yeah. That's why when we say,
like, it's great to take picturesclose up, yeah, but ultimately you
need to take a picture from faraway. Yeah. Yeah. I definitely
feel like over makeup and sess someonewho usually never wears makeup just doing this
(01:23:42):
process. It's still a lot ofwork. I mean it's honey, You're
absolutely right, it's exhausting. SoI mean I think just maybe like adding
a little bit to my life willmake a difference, because I think I
(01:24:03):
don't know if any It's like,if you guys don't follow Jane on TikTok.
If you have TikTok, which yes, please follow Je get a really
cool TikTok of the world of makeupand the perspective people get, oh yeah,
because they always put filters on theirtheir um individuals and you forget the
(01:24:25):
person behind it. We have linedand um texture to our skin, and
I was just like, oh,that's a whole completely different side of the
fact that to be proud of ourskin and what it is because as we
(01:24:45):
age, like our skin changes, and I think that's one thing that I've
always been, um uncomfortable with,is the fact that it's changed over time.
And I'm just like I've always hadthat self image problem. So I
just help enhance that I have textureas skin that's textured. So it's just
(01:25:10):
emphasizing that it's a beautiful texture becauseit was what was given to us exactly
that that's so beautiful. I loveit either, but welcome, don't scratch
(01:25:32):
it. Yeah, I love this, but again, I being a theater
person, um, I don't dogeneral like makeup outside of theater, almost
like I'm growing somewhere nice and thenit's sort of boring. So and I've
always been bad, Like I'll getmakeup paletts. I'm like, I have
(01:25:53):
no idea how to put these colorstogether. I like this one and walk
away. Well, and that's thegreat thing, like specifically dubious place like
I was literally I'm getting this palettwhich palet is back? Movie? Uh?
The movie? And what are thecolors movie in? It's like a
(01:26:14):
very nice, delicious, very chocolateI heard the carnival. It's all the
nuts you can eat now, Um, Doris Thompson asks, could I get
a shot of all four of you? So, hi, mom, Well
(01:26:39):
there's a leg in the woods.Sorry. Sorry, we're squeezed into my
dining room right now. Look atthe beautiful Oh I love it. We'll
get photos, I promise. Yeah, take that off without taking photos together
first. Yeah, so you're gettinga lot of love, ladies. Lots
(01:27:00):
of hearts are flying. Anton says, really enjoyed watching. Thanks for the
advice for LGBTQ plus parents to helpour young kids against bullies and everything that
everyone was saying. You know allof that, plus understand that these are
your kids and they need your loveperiod point Like, yes, it's scary,
(01:27:21):
Yes, there's anxiety about the unknown, about the future, about whatever,
whatever, whatever, But at theend of the day, they need
your love, right and that anxietyis definitely a necessary tool in the growth
of your children as well. Definitely, you know, you have to experience
(01:27:43):
that negativity in order to grow.So just let them know that they're supported
and they're loved and what they're growinggoing through is valid and it's okay,
and here's how you go about makingit better. So also, Mary Smith
says she loves you both ass you. I miss my fair family. That
(01:28:05):
was the one thing about this season. We definitely as a cast in general,
I think we definitely bonded this yeara lot more and I miss everyone
already. COVID has had this reallystrange way of putting things in perspective for
I think everyone, and you knowwe we hold our loved ones a little
(01:28:30):
bit tighter now and I think therehave been a ton of negatives, but
I try to focus on the positivesof things, and it has. While
it has divided this country, ithas also brought a lot of us together
in ways that we never knew wouldhappen. Yeah, yep, that was
profound. People come to the showfor the profound moments, not to drag.
(01:28:57):
I think Mary Smith puts it best. And so as we are family,
yes, yeah, we are absolutely. I've been thinking, Sorry,
I ponder a lot. I don'tIt's one of very few words sometimes,
but I think one of the things, like for me personally from the show,
(01:29:19):
as somebody who um is still inwhat I would call the naive stage
and have been learning a lot fromyou all, because I mean, I'm
a straight woman who has now beendragged up just one of the things that
(01:29:42):
I think a lot of people alsoneed to keep in mind is if their
youth out there that don't have familiesthat are supportive, be their family.
Yes, And I think that's onething I've learned a lot from you all,
um, and the respect that Ihave of gain and the knowledge and
education that you put out in theshow is so vital, and I wish
(01:30:10):
that's what would get out there morewith you all. And and this podcast
that you all do is that thisis not just talk about RuPaul's Drag Race,
which honestly, I've never seen asingle episode, believe it or not,
guys, for all those who haveit, just because it's just not
(01:30:34):
something that I've ever experienced or seen. I know of RuPaul. I've seen
RuPaul, but I've not seen theactual show. So I think that's something
that you guys have done. Anamazing job is gone beyond that, and
you've guys brought in um queens fromRuPaul who are local or even that you
(01:30:59):
guys all have connected with, andthat has been so cool to experience.
Yeah. So and now just tobe a part of that legacy part of
it, Um, it's it's bucketlike crossed off. That's awesome. I've
enjoyed this night a lot. Imay have been sitting here freaking out entire
(01:31:25):
night, but but sometimes we haveto go through those things that test us
to go, oh wait a minute, look at me though. Ye look
how I came out on the otherside. I just realize I haven't just
realized what I've been sitting here thinkingwas entire time. Why does Robin look
like such a bitch? I waslike, she has been like a bitch.
(01:31:47):
I'm like, oh that if Iwalked into the rest dressing room and
she was sitting there and be likehuh oh no, Like IM like,
oh my god, she's gonna readme her film, Like I need to
become her friend. Um our Valleydance teacher gives gave her the nickname Spicy
(01:32:09):
Meatball. Yeah that's what. Wow, she really they can really fits her
person. Yes, yes, verymuch so that I wasn't a queen called
meatball because he would be spicy Meatball. Yes. By the way, I
look up meatball. She has asick name. Yeah, I stole a
(01:32:30):
routine from her. My McDonald's number. Yes, oh Mary say and then
Heidi says, oh, excuse me. Uh Mary says that you have a
resting pitch face. Yes, Iwill admit to that. Unfortunately, that's
why I love that we're wearing maskat work. Oh it looks like we
(01:32:59):
are reaching the end of the evening, but you know, we always like
to give everybody a chance to saygood night, and let's start with you.
Oh my goodness, I cannot expresswell one my sorrow for not being
there with you tonight, but myabsolute pleasure in having such a wonderful,
wonderful show with all of you,Jade and Anastasia. Wonderful job, Robin
(01:33:20):
and Vicky. You both look soglamorous but so unique at the same time,
which I love seeing that. Soif you take anything out of this
experience, just take out the factthat you are. You are above and
beyond who you think you are.You know what I mean. The power
of drag gives you such pride andconfidence, and I want you to take
(01:33:42):
that into your everyday life. Youare as beautiful now as you always are
every day when you wake up,So take that with you and take that
into the world. To my sistershere, my host, Anastasia and Jade,

happy that the two of you agreedto do this. I am I am

cartoony, all of the things Ifeel dragged to be and I am so
(01:40:18):
happy to have gotten to work withyou. Desia, I love you so
much. She walked into the houseafter coming from Alta and was like,
