Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome back to investing in Trady Live sponsored by thirty Academy.
In the last second, we did a quick market update.
As we know, the Fed kept rates the same, but
they do have a price reduction. We'll call it signaled
to potentially happen in September.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
The chance of that is up to eighty six point
five percent from thirty seven point seven. We had to
sell off on August first. As we know, the markets
came storming back to the upside, and we have global tensions.
We have tariffs.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Obviously Switzerland had had a thirty nine percent duty and
then India had twenty five percent, so that wrap rattled.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
The global markets.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And we know tech and AI continues to I mean
almost it feels like it's ruling the world. You see
it in every commercial, you see it in every news
news article that's happening out there, and it's really driving
these markets as well. And we had a lot of
people that want to know more about how do you
take advantage of these opportunities, but also more importantly, how

(01:04):
do you protect those accounts because there was recession fears
quote unquotech is what they are saying, and people are
wondering how do you protect them in down markets. That
way you don't have to worry about if it happens.
And we have people that want to be able to
build that skill to protect their retirement accounts.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
So we had a lot of people going to our
website and texting for those free trading and investing classes.
Trading Academy is a global academy that trains people just
like you how to invest in, how to trade and
gaining that financial literacy. If you want to come into those.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Free investing and trading workshops, just simply text the word
investing to the number two ten two ten. They'll wait
for two seats, one for you and a friend, or
go to Trading Academy dot com and you can pick
your own seat there. We have these classes during the days,
the evenings, the weeks, and the weekends. We're doing it
seems like we're doing one of these investing in trading workshops.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It seems like daily nowadays. There's so many people coming
in that want to be able to gain that financial literacy.
Text investing to the number two ten to ten, or
go to Trading Academy dot com. Also, we have our
global podcast. We've been gaining some major traction on that lately.
Thank you for all the listeners and subscribers to that.
Subscribe to these is free.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
You just put an Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio or Spotify and
just search up Investing and Trading.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Live and make sure to hit that bell button. You
get notified every time an episode goes on and you
might even hear a couple of outtakes there. So that's
investing in trading live wherever you listen your podcasts, Apple Podcasts,
iHeartRadio and Spotify. So al in this next segment, as
we know, we have some global tensions, we have potential
rate cuts coming in, and just great opportunities that I

(02:38):
think people want to take advantage of. There's a lot
of dreamers out there.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
And they want to be able to take advantage of
these markets. But you hit you kind of set a
key topic on the end of the last segment about
trading with the institutions, and when you trade with the institutions,
not against them, that's where things change because institutions technically
they rule the market. I believe it's about eighty to
ninety percent of the activity is institutional orderful. It's correct,

(03:04):
So that's why it's imperative to have a strategy that's
designed to follow them, and it's supplying to man at
its fineness, and that's really an economic law that can
be changed. But I want you to dissect that a
little bit out as far as why it's so important
to have a strategy, an actual strategy to follow the
big money, or we call it the smart money in
the room.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
And then how do you actually do that with confidence
even if you've never done this before.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, and that's that word you just mentioned. Confidence is
huge and one of our goals is to get people
to the point where they are trading with confidence. There
are a lot of things out there. You mentioned recession
is one, a lot of things that are going to
impact what direction these markets go and what's happening in
the economy. The catalysts that are out there are going

(03:51):
to require you to trade or invest in a different
way than you might normally do that. But just to
keep it very simple, you just don't want to fight markets,
which means you don't fight those that control it. You
have to trade with those that control it. And who's that, Well,
it's the big banks, the big institution. So whether you
agree with them or not, you have to learn how

(04:12):
to trade with them, because their activities is what really
creates reality in the market.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
And that's trading or investing.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Trading or investing, and I'm going to comment on that
in a second year.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
But you've got to do that. Both of those you do.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
But here's the I think this is important to understand.
What is it that the banks do that you don't
and what is it that the banks know that you don't.
And that's what we do our job. Our goal is
to show you how the banks function, what they're doing,
so you can be prepared regardless of what direction the
market goes. If you look at the returns of companies

(04:48):
like gold and Sacks, it doesn't make any difference whether
we have an upmarket or a downmarket. We could have
a year where the market's down thirty forty percent, they're
still profitable.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Well, you look at twenty twenty f when the market
was down almost twenty percent, Golden Sacks they had was
it eighty five percent profitable days they're that year in
a down market.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, those numbers, the eighty ninety percent profitable days, that's
pretty consistent regardless of what's happening in the market. So
you have to admit. If that's the case, if they're
doing well and you can find what they're doing and
trade right along with it, why wouldn't you want to
do that? And that's one of the ways that you
develop confidence. But here are the problems that most people
have when they try to do this on their own.

(05:30):
They don't know when the best time is to buy.
They don't know when the best time is to take
their wins or get out off if they're wrong, that's
basically the best time to exit with a small loss.
They don't know how to trade with confidence, and they're
basically guessing at what to do and that is not
a strategy that it is going to work for you
over time.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, and that's one of the cool things about Trading
Academy is Trade Academy is a global academy that trains
these these skills, these techniques, these concepts on how to
buy and sell with the institutions, how to have a strategy,
how to follow that strategy. But the cool thing about
that as well, it's just step by step. If you
thrive off of step by step strategies or approaches to anything, well,

(06:13):
the market might be an opportunity for you because the
cool thing is you don't have to figure out the strategy.
Trading Academy has that built ou already, but you have
to follow it. And if you're looking for a strategy
that's designed to have smart investing decisions, whether it's investing
or if it's trading, come and check it out at
these free trading and investing workshops. If you have any
insight or any opportunities that you want to take advantage of,

(06:36):
do that with confidence. So come into one of these
classes just by texting the word investing to the number
two ten two ten for two seats for a free
investing and trading workshop. Or you can go to Trading
Academy dot com and you can pick your own seat
and date there. So at Trading Academy, they obviously have
that strategy that's designed to follow the institutions. It's based

(06:56):
off of supply and demand. That's an economic law that
can be changed, right. That's just like gravity. If you're
holding a marker for those people that are watching the
YouTube stream right now, if I let go of this
marker is going to fall. I can't change that. With gravity,
that's just the law of gravity. Correct, same thing goes
with supply and demand, which is just like anything we

(07:16):
buy or sell in our lives. Say, if you think
about the housing market, when everybody was going to buy houses,
there was hardly any inventory out there, is what they say,
And there was all these buyers and price kept going
up and up and up because there was so much demand.
The same thing goes with the financial markets. Just replace
house with stock or whatever it is that you're buying.

(07:38):
Now when Trade Academy is building, has built this strategy
and people are coming in obviously to learn this strategy.
What are some key points that Trading Academy does to
help make it. I don't want to say easy, because
that can be misleading, but easier to grasp. But to

(07:59):
do that with confide as well.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Yeah, I think maybe a good word is to simplify things.
People have a tendency. Human beings have a tendency to
or complicate things. This does not have to be complicated
if you just concentrate on the only thing that is
going to move an asset up or down. You know,
if if you you could have the greatest company in
the world with the greatest product ever created, let's just

(08:23):
say that you you developed a little tiny pill that
cured every disease, no demand, and you put a company
together to sell that product. What if nobody buys your stock,
it's not going to go anywhere. Correct. It's buyers and
sellers that move the price. It's not me and Josh
buying and selling though. It's people that have maybe hundreds
of millions or billions of dollars to do that.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
You mean you don't have billions of dollars not yet,
not yet.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Get back to me next week on that.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, exactly so.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
And the way to do it is not to just
guess it doing it, but you have to use a
strategy that relies on something that is repeatable.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
That's a key word, there is repeatable.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah, there may be some strategies that work maybe once
a year, once every two or three years.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
That's interesting to say that. I was working with the
lady many many years ago here at the Academy, and
she kept saying, well, you know, there's all these strategies
and technical indicators you can find on all these platforms,
all this garbage that's out there, all of it's free.
There's a reason, right, correct, And she goes, well, it
works sometimes, but she kept saying she was losing all
this money, but then she kept going back to it
works sometimes it's kind of like that golf shot. It's

(09:32):
that one golf shot that keeps you coming back.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
That's exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
So that's why the key point that Al said there,
I want to make sure everybody understands Trade Academy has
a repeatable strategy.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yeah, it's a strategy that works on something that is
reliably repeatable. And that just simple, simple, folks. It's just
institutional activity. If we can identify where companies like Goldman Sachs,
JP Morgan, or people like Warren Buffett or the hedge
funds that are out there, we can identify where they're
going to be active. How about this, What if you
could identify where they're going to be active before they're active.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
And just to clarify that, though we don't go and
look at Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan. It's all based
off a price chart.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
We don't need to look specifically at a company.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah, so you don't you don't actually know who is
moving the markets, but you know when the market moves
because eighty to ninety percent of the market activity is institutions.
That's all you need to know. And how you see
that as based off movement or activity on a price chart.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
So a lot of people listen. You might say, well
I have to do I just pull up a chart
and I'll find out where these people are selling and buying. Mostly,
you know, some of the strategies might say, well, you
look at volume. When you see a huge spike in volume,
it indicates that somebody's let's say it's a huge spike
in volume of buyers, and well, let's just use one
of the times. If it's a huge movement or influx

(10:52):
of buy orders, then most of the trades already over.
You need to be able to be positioned to take
advantage of the full movement of what we would call
a trend, the full movement of a trend. In order
to do that, you have to be able to identify
where the big activity is going to take place before
it takes place. The problem is all of these firms

(11:13):
try to hide their activity and they yeah, I call
it stealth investing in these companies, people like more Buffett.
They they in a way get special treatment from the
SEC because they can do some of their trades without
making it known to the public. At some point in time,
they do, but by then the movement's already taken place.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Let's just say they're not dumb. Let's just say that.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
No, well, they're not only that not dumb, but you
have to also understand that Wall Streets job isn't to
help you. It's to separate you from your money.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
They make most of their learn Again, now, because I
think people are watched news and TV and read all
these articles by all these we'll call it famous people
say that.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Again, Wall Streets job isn't to help you, it's to
set you from your money. And think about this, if
Wall Street, if those firms are doing something different than
you're doing. They're putting you in something that they're not doing.
Why would they do that. Well, maybe it's because it's
to their benefit. And then the way they do they

(12:16):
receive maybe the biggest part of their profits, the the
biggest part of their return on equity is with fees
that they charge you. So it's to their advantage for
you to be basically illiterate, not know what to do,
feel you need to use them, and you know they'll
encourage you maybe to go to YouTube and look at
some of those things. Typically, what happens and we see

(12:39):
this probably every week we see a number of people
that come in and say, yeah, I learned how to
do this on YouTube. And how are you doing well?
I lost money, I'm not doing well at all. Well,
can't they help you? Can't you call somebody or go
sit with someone to get help. Well, no, but where
can you do that? The training Academy, that's what we do.
The way to do this is to be well, to

(13:00):
work with somebody who can help you, help guide you,
face to face with you. They can look at what
you're doing and say, yeah, here's where you made a mistake.
Here's where you didn't make a mistake. Let's concentrate on
not only what works, but what doesn't work. So you
have the opportunity of putting the odds in your favor
most of the time of being successful.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Yeah, and a good case study of that is your
retirement counts.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
You're being to put in a just buy something, no
regard to price, and then just hope it goes up.
Institutions are not doing that. They're buying, they're selling, they're
doing multiple asset classes, they're using leverage, they're doing things smart,
and they're putting you in something totally different. So before
I go into giving away some seats, I want you
to grab that quote that you said about institutions are

(13:48):
not there to help you ag and just so our
listeners understand.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
That, Okay, Wall Street's job isn't to help you, it's
to separate you from your money.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And if you don't want your money separated from you,
there are strategies in the are designed to protect those accounts,
especially retirement accounts, even trading accounts. If you want to
learn those strategies, come into one of these free investing
and trading workshops by texting the word investing right now
to the number two ten, two ten for two seats
for a free trading and investing workshop. Al teaches these
its these as well. We have a good time talking

(14:18):
about these markets. Bring those questions in. That's what is
designed for. You can also go to trading Academy dot
com and you can pick your own seat and date there.
So text the word investing to the number two ten
two ten, or go to trading Academy dot com and
you can pick your own seat and your own date there.
