Speaker 1 (00:00):
Stood up blocked again. Let Jiona Schantzell help, but there's
seven thirty second date up date.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Hey Kelly, Hey, hey, good morning. How's it going?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Good morning? Great? Great, Thanks for helping me out today.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, well, give us some details about Mark. Let's start
there and see what we can do for you.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Thank you. Okay, Well, we had a great time together.
But I guess something gave him the itck. He's been
avoiding me for two whole weeks. That is a long time.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
But you know what, that's what we're here for.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, that's true. I guess.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Can you tell us how the date went?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah? Yeah, we got along so well and I just
can't believe he's ghosting me. And we went to dinner.
The vibe was good, so I invited him to over
to hang out at my place for a while.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
All right, there you go, Kelly, How did that go?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
It was nice. I told him I like to take
things close, so we talked and stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Okay, And during the conversation, then, since you were talking,
any big red flags? Were you arguing? Did you go political?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
No? No arguing, right thing? Nothing political. My friends all
think he's upset that we really did just talk.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Oh, I see like your friends were saying, maybe there
should have been a little more action going on than
just a conversation.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yes, they're saying, but I told him that I like
to think it's slow, so.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
You know, this is the first date. Like, I don't
think there's anything wrong with saying, hey, I want to
chat and get to know you. So yeah, at the
very end, though, I was left. Was there a good
night kiss, a.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Quick and very sweet one at my door?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I mean that's better than nothing?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
And did you reach out afterward?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah? Yeah, I even offered to make him dinner.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Okay, so you offered to make him dinner, you reach
out afterwards, you hear nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I'm not sure exactly. I'm not hearing any complete red flags.
So let's play a song, we'll get some info from
Mark off air, and we'll call him up.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Okay, yeah, yeah, thank you. It's better to know.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Or date update. Trying to help out Kelly, Kelly goes
out with Mark. They have a good time, good enough
that they went back to Kelly's place to just chat,
just to get to know each other better. Kelly's friends
were saying, it's because he didn't hook up.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, I don't know about it.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Jack, you're saying no, no, I mean, come on, it's
it's a first date. Yeah, exactly. There was a small
kiss at the very end of the night. But Kelly,
we're gonna call up Mark. Listen in, and if you
want to jump in at any point, go for it.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay, okay, thank you. Hello.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Hey is this Mark?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
This is Mark Mark.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Hey, my name is John Chantell's here, Jake. We're part
of a morning radio show here in Salt Lake. We're
on the radio station Mixed one O five to one.
How are you?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I'm fine?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Good? Hey.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
We got just a couple of questions for you. Are
you cool if we push record and we talk?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I guess this has never happened to me before. But sure?
Why Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Okay? Cool? Hey. We were talking to one of our listeners.
Her name's Kelly. You met her a few weeks.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Ago, right, Kelly, Yes, I did.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Okay, Well, she asked us to reach out to you
because she hasn't heard from you.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, she's not going to Oh can I ask why?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Well, after ninety minutes of going through her scrap books,
I had enough.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Oh he asked me about them?

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay, scrap book and now we're talking. Sorry, Mark, that's Kelly.
She's listening in. It's kinda it's what we do with
the seven thirty second date update. Kelly, you're into scrapbooking.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah, that ant got me into it. It's an old
school way to preserve special memory. No, I think we all.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Noticed, are uta is like the scrap booking? Oh yeah,
capital yeah, so obviously you've been into it for a while.
This is a serious hobby.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah. Absolutely, It's so relaxing and fun. And I've started
going back and doing my high school years too.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Oh oh yeah. I got treated to a full showing
of all of them. It was excruciating.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Okay, so maybe that's where we're talking about. I got
a little boring going back and looking at so much.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, I mean, I can't agree. Sometimes it's like being
on a date. It's not the most fun to go
down memory link.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Memory lane is only fun for the person who was
in the memories.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Right, I mean obviously, Mark, you're just not into like
seeing like the scrap books and doing that yet yet
or just at all?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
No? No, No, I mean, look, I had nothing against
scrap booking. I just thought like it was like ninety
percent her talking about herself in her life and then
asking about me. I mean, it was it was not
It was like a performance. I was like I walked
to her one woman show of her life.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Yeah, but Mark, you asked me about it and then
you ask follow up questions. You never even change the subject.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, I didn't have a chance to. It was like
it was the whole dynamic was very weird.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah, I'm feeling that now.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I just feel like it's just not going.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
To work out.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
So I just want to make sure though it's what
I do like Mark, or you're not interested in another date?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
No, No, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
No, okay, Kelly, I'm sorry. I don't think we're gonna
be able to move this to the next level.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
All right, but before you go, Mark, what kind of
cologne do you wear? I want to include a scent
strip in my page about our date.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Oh okay, I'm sorry, I have to go.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
That's fine.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Well,
