Speaker 1 (00:00):
With a suspicion, you look for evidence. Are you paranoid
or on the right track?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Catching the cheaters with Shantell's roses.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
If you feel like someone's cheating on you, I want
to get to the bottom of it. I'm going to
call them up. Are for a dozen free roses? They
could send to anyone special in their life. The goal
would be they send them to their significant other. But
sometimes they don't, and that's when we might catch a cheater.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hey, Sierra, good morning, Good morning morning. All right, so
who are we going to call this morning?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Well, my boyfriend Luke.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Okay, tell us a little bit about your boyfriend, Luke.
How long has it been that you've been dating.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
It's been a little over a year. We met through
a mutual friend, and you know, things actually been going
pretty good until recently.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Okay, that's usually where you start to think about reaching
out to us. See until recently, Yeah, part, So what's
going on?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
So Luke joined this community theater group a few months ago,
and like I never knew he was into acting, like whatsoever? Okay,
but he said he wanted to try something new, you know,
pushed himself to like, you know, get out of his

(01:17):
comfort zone and all that.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, I don't know how long Sierra you've been listening
to our show, but the three of us are a
bunch of drama dorks.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, so we're.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
All about it.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
We appreciate growth and getting outside of the comfort zone
in theater.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah I did too. Okay, until his acting coach came
into the picture, named Dana.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Okay, so this is where we need to get some info.
Tell us about Dana.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Yeah, so he literally always has to talk about her.
You know, Dana said this, Dana showed me that Dana
thinks this, and it's just you know, kind of get
into me a lot. And I finally, you know, went
to go see one of their performances, and after the show,

(02:11):
he introduced me to her, but she would not even
look me in the eye, Like yeah, it was just
this quick, awkward handshake situation, and I just instantly, like
you know, felt like the pit of my stomach, like
just it just didn't feel right, you know, Yeah, it just, yeah,

(02:37):
did not feel right.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Did you Did you have a conversation afterwards with Luke
about like this interaction?

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Oh yeah, brush it off and you know just said that,
you know, Dana's just you know, she's just intense and
weird with people and whatever. But like she's always texting
him late at night too, and he swears it's just
about of course, you know, acting and then about the group.
But like, I'm not buying it, Like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
There's something going on.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I will say. Sometimes you get into this community theater
and those are the most intense, ridiculous people, Like it's
not even professional. We're not getting paid, and you get
more text from that director than you do when you know,
if you were doing like a real job. Also job
I did also wonder like Sierra was she said that

(03:26):
part where she was like I finally went to see
a performance and then there's a pause, and I thought, Sierra,
you're going to say he was terrible, and I'm now
doubting if he even is going to acting class. But like,
but that's not what you're gonna You're just saying that
it was the interaction afterwards that is making you. Yes, Okay,
let's call up Luke. Let's offer the flowers, and let's
see like, does he want to send him to you?

(03:47):
Does he want to send him to Dana? Is there
someone else in the cast? And maybe that's why Dana
just feels uncomfortable around you, Like, do you want to
do this?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:56):
I gotta know, I gotta know.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Then we will play a song and call up those
cheeters Sierra reached out to us. Sierra's boyfriend, Luke recently
joined a community theater group group and is all in
with the theater group. Uh, mainly all in on one person, Dana,
the acting coach, who he's talking about all the time,
talking to all the time. And when Sierra met Dana

(04:20):
didn't act weird, not impressed. There's something about that when
you're uh, when that person's acting weird, you go, wait
a minute, what's happening here? So we're gonna call up
Luke and offer those roses. Hey, Sierra, the only thing
we need from you is permission to be recording with Luke. Yes, shantall,
you're ready?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I am ready?

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Hello? Hi?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Is this Luke?

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Hi Luke. My name is Chantalan calling from J and C. Flowers.
How are you doing today?

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Oh? Okay, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Oh good?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I was just calling because we are a local flower
shop here in Salt Lake and we're running a promotion.
Actually we're giving away free flowers. It's just kind of
the our way of spreading the word about our flower shop.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
And I was curious if you'd be able to help
us out today and we could send some free flowers
for you for real. Yeah, totally real. Basically sounds like
a scam.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I promise it's not a scam. It's just our way
of Rather than like paying a lot of money for marketing,
we we figured let's give out flowers. It'll spread happiness
and also spread the word about our flower shop.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
So if you're interested, the flowers also come with a card.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Okay, I'm not giving you any of my Nope.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I don't need no, I don't need any personal information.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
As far as credit cards go, I would need the
name of who were sending the flowers to and a
note for the card.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Uh. Okay, let's go with Dana.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Okay, and what do you want the card to say?

Speaker 5 (05:52):
How about you always bring out the best performance in meat?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh that's sweet. Yeah, we can get these right out
to Dana.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Hey, are you are you serious? Right now? Luke?

Speaker 5 (06:07):
What there is?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
He's now finally realizing, Hi, Luke, my name is John.
You're talking to Chantell. We're actually not a flower shop.
We're a radio station. We're mixed one oh five to
one here in Soul Lake. We are recording with you,
and Chantel is not a Floris. She was just helping
Sierra find out if there's anything going on between you
and Dana. And all of a sudden, you're giving flowers

(06:28):
to Dana and not Sierra, and we want to know
what's going.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
On about that. Oh yeah, I knew this was weird. Sierra?
Are you seriously doing this right now? On the radio?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
You sent roses to your acting coach. You said she
was just intense, not intimate, but like she brings out
the best performance in you. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (06:50):
No, it's just a card, it's a metaphor. We're literally
working on emotional expression in class right now.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Okay, and you were emotionally expressing yourself through this romantic
flower arrangement, Luke, So you.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Got to be honest here with me. Have you hooked
up with her? Like what's going on? This doesn't feel No?

Speaker 5 (07:10):
No, I haven't. I've never touched her. Okay, Okay, Look
if I'm being honest, like, yeah, I have kind of
developed feelings for her. I didn't really mean to, but
it just sort of happened. Okay, like nothing's happened yet.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
But you could have just said that like a long
time ago, instead of just making me feel like a
paranoid idiot.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Like, well, I didn't know what to say, Sierra, like
I care about you, and I didn't I don't know,
I didn't like expect to have this connection with her.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
But wow, okay, well then maybe you should have just
stuck an improv class and skip this full on emotional affair.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I'm going to just jump in here, and I think
what we'll do is we'll allow the two of you
to continue this conversation off air, sire, like, I mean,
we found out the true I'm not sure how you
know it feels right now?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Yeah, no, it's fine. I needed to know, and I
don't know, you know how long it would have strung
me along, So yeah, no, I know.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
