Speaker 2 (00:26):
Now, Hey, what's going on you guys? This is Joseph
Bonner and welcome back to our show. Today, we're gonna
be talking about five steps to a peaceful morning routine. Now,
let's get it right into it you guys. Number One,
wake up early. Oh. I know that sounds horrible, but
(00:48):
let me let me let me let me break it
down for you. Just set your alarm for an earlier
time to give yourself a peaceful start without rushing. This
will allow you to ease into your day and find
some quiet moments for yourself. I know we all like
to just stay in bed and squeeze in those last
few minutes, but by pushing ourselves to get up just
a little bit earlier, even fifteen twenty minutes earlier. We're
(01:09):
going to find that we're going to have We're going
to feel more prepared for the day and less rushed.
Number two, practice gratitude. Now, as soon as you wake up,
take a moment to think about three things you are
grateful for. This practice can shift your mindset to a
more positive focus and help you start your day with appreciation. Now.
Number three, hydrate your body. Drink a glass of water.
(01:33):
Typically after we've been sleeping for a few hours, our
body needs to rehydrate after a nice night of sleep.
This can actually boost your energy levels and help you
kickstart your metabolism. So consider adding lemon or an extra
you know, limon could be like a little extra refreshing touch.
So if you don't want just plain water, I like
to add a little bit more flavor to mildwater personally.
(01:55):
But hydrating your body at the start of the day
is a great way to get your day started and
to boost your metabol Now. Number four, set your intentions
for the day. Now, as you're reflecting on the positive
things about yourself and your day and your life, I
want you to also reflect on what you can achieve
this day and how you want to feel throughout the day.
Now write down your intentions for the day. What are
(02:17):
your goals for the day? Keep them in your mind.
You can put it on paper if you want to. Now,
this practice will help you to stay focused and align
your day with your present goals so that you can
feel accomplished at the end of the day. Now, number five,
here's a big one you guys, and this I know
this is the last one, but limit your screen time now.
If you want to maintain a positive start to the day,
(02:39):
I do want you to consider postponing your phone and
social media usage until after your morning routine. This can
help prevent distractions and keep your mind clear. For example,
if you're waking up to a whole bunch of notifications,
you're waking up to you social media reels about the news,
or even your waking up to emails from clients, this
can completely destroy a peaceful mood to the day. And
(03:03):
then especially if you feel like, oh, I got to
respond to this, I gotta respond to that. All this
is what's going on and paliside is horrible, and then
your mind is just like you're bombarded by so much negativity.
It could actually make the day very difficult for you
to get through.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Now.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
I'm not saying that you won't eventually get to those things,
but starting your day off like that is not the
way to have a peaceful day. So I do want
you to consider postponing your phone screen time in the
morning until after your morning routine is complete. This will
allow you to have a clear mind and a clear
heart as you start your day. Now, Following these simplify
(03:41):
steps will not only create a more positive morning and
routine for yourself that nurtures your mental and emotional wellbeing,
it will also help you set a positive tone for
the rest of the day. And really, my friends, as
negativity increases and stresses in this world increase, starting your
day off right is becoming more and more more invaluable.
(04:01):
So enjoy your morning routines you guys, and have an amazing,
amazing week. I'm Joseph Bonner. Until next time, be safe,
and before I let you go, listen to a word
from our partners.
