In this article, a truck driver passed away after passing
out behind the wheel during a medical emergency and causing
a chain reaction crash. This accident happened in northeast Dallas, Texas,
around the twenty first of July. According to the local news,

the truck driver was operating a flatbed hauling pipe when
he passed out behind the wheel. Flatbed semi then crashed
into a second semi truck a car, a bus, and
a box truck. Total of seven people were injured in
the crash. Five of those victims sustained non life threatening

was taken to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation,

hire truck drivers and decent mechanics at a Kroger warehouse
at Tollis and Arizona been there. A three year contract
between Ruin and Kroger was signed back at twenty twenty three,
which included a clause allowing Kroger to exit the contract

union was notified that Kroger had chosen to cancel the
contract with Ruin and soon we'll be working with Swift instead.

both sixty five miles an hour and nobody's passing anybody,
and they're kind of pasting each other, so you know

The rule withdrawal follows up on efforts made under the
Trump administration to degregulate trucking and to improve the lives
of America truck drivers. In late June of this year,
Transportation Secretary of Sean pe Duffy rolled out the pro

promise to withdraw speed limitter rule making. It can explaining

the morning and drive it until you could find a

up at two or three o'clock in the afternoon, no
matter what part of the country you're in. Where before

ultimately conducted that there was no compelling data showing that
the speed limit or rule would have increased highway safety.
So after all these studies since twenty sixteen, almost ten
years of studying this issue, they finally figured out that

came to their senses on this issue again my opinion,

And a Florida man is guilty of interstates came to
steal big rigs loaded with millions of dollars in electronics
from southern Indiana and other states. Two brothers were indicted
following the seizure of a historical amount of illegal drugs
from a semi truck operating in South Carolina. Oh wait,

fifty one has been found guilty on charges of conspiracy,
possession of a good stolen from interstate commerce, interstate transportation
of stolen property. According to a July twenty third statement,
five co conspirators previously pled guilty to participating in the

same cargo theft scheme. Official say that between December of
twenty twenty one and May of twenty twenty three, Gonzales
and his co conspirators conspired to steal semi trucks loaded
with high end electronics and other items in southern Indiana
and other states. Transported the stolen cargo to Florida, which

was then sold at a discounted rate. Let me read
from the Attorney Office. US Attorney's Office describes as Cargo
Staff Operation. I'll try to make this brief. The co
conspirators traveled for various locations, including Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio,
to target various distribution facilities used by national companies such

as Meta, Microsoft, and l Brands. The group surveiled these facilities,
followed semi trailers as they departed. When a driver stopped
to rest, refuel, or park, the conspirators stoled the entire semi.
In many instances, the group abandoned the stolen semi nearby

and reattached the tractor part and then reattached it with
a front truck to the same trailer they operated. To
evade law enforcement, they painted over logos and identifying numbers,
and used different license plates on the stolen trailers, so

this was a pretty well thought out scheme. They transported
stolen cargo to Miami, Florida, where it was then sold
to buyers, including this co defendant Richard Alameda, for a
fraction of the inventory's retail value. The group carried out
at least fourteen separate cargo thefts, resulting in the theft

of over two million and virtual reality headsets from Meta Facility, Oculus,
nine hundred and forty thousand dollars in Microsoft products, one
million dollars in bath Bodyworks and Victoria's Secret merchandise, and
six hundred and sixty nine thousand and harming JBL Audio products,

one hundred and eighty thousand dollars in Logitech products, four
hundred and eighty thousand dollars worth of bows audio speakers,
among others stolen items. Offici will say that this is
the third time that Gonzalez has been convicted on a

So DA nabs two brothers using a big rig to
haul the largest amount of fentanyl ever seized in South
Carolina history. Two brothers have been dieted following the seizure
of an historic amount of illegal drugs from a semi
truck operating in South Carolina. This happened July twenty second.

They were both from California. They were indicted on charges
of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and meth.
According to the US Attorney's Office, the charges stem from
a pair of coordinated traffic stops in Lexington and Richland
Counties conducted on July first by DA agents. They report,

quote in side of tractor trailer that was transporting products
with a legitimate business purpose. Law enforcement also found large
practices packages of illegal narcotics. The two brothers operating as
a semi were arrested following the traffic stop. Law enforcement

The drugs are believed to have been sourced from Mexico.
US Attorney's office said that this is believed to be
the largest seizure of fentanyl in state South Carolina history.

Now let's get back to the news. A trucker reports
seeing a body floating in Missouri River. A trucker called

police after noticing a body in the Missouri River while
riding as a passenger. Kansas City Police Department was called
just after one thirty in the afternoon near Kansas City, Missouri,
on July twenty second. According to the local news, a
truck driver told or passenger told officers that he spotted
(28:37):
a body floating in the Missouri River from the passenger
seat of a semi cab as a rig headed north
on Interstate four thirty five. You have to have damn
good eyes, because I've been around four thirty five. You
have to have damn good eyes in order to see
a body floating in the river. Police responded to the
(28:58):
call and discovered they on the riverbank near the I
four thirty five bridge, missing persons. Unique crime scene investigators,
and a medical examiner were all called to the scene.
At the time of the writing of the article. The
identity of the person has not yet been released. The
cause of death that was not determined at the time,

and this investigation is on going and troopers are investigating
a cause of a double fatality pile up on I
ninety five in South Carolina, involving seven commercial vehicles and

semi truck load king. There is a pickup truck inside
the back doors of the semi truck in mid air
on the driver's side. In their sideways. There's another pickup
truck calling a rocking chair that crashed behind the pickup truck,

and a looks like a flat bed truck that crashed
into the back of that same load king Semi. This
happened to South Carolina and investigating a multiple fatality pile
up crash that happened July the twenty second on I
(30:53):
ninety five. The initial collision involved three vehicles, including one semi.
A short time later, a second collision occurred at the
same location, involving thirteen vehicles, six of those being semis.
Two people passed away in the crash and nine others
(31:14):
were hospitalized, all with various injuries. Yeah, the blue that
you see there, Oops, that's the second part of the crash.

That's the second part of the crash. That's all that
pile up. According to the Agency Fire Rescue, the crash
occurred amid a heavy rainstorm and motors reported near zero visibility.
The accident involved several vehicles that were piled on top

of each other. One semi truck was hauling sheets of
glass plate glass, which was expelled onto the highway. Responders
had to work hard a workaround broke a glass in
some areas two feet deep. One victim was trapped at
a small passenger car underneath the pile of vehicles. A
truck driver whose cab was completely demolished was trapped in

the remnants of his cab, and two victims were trapped
in a pickup truck that was ten feet in the air.
That was that first this first picture that I showed
you that was ten feet in the air, crashed into
the rear of the semi trailer. A victim of one
vehicle on the bridge fell off the bridge and into

the river below trying to escape his car. He suffered
non life threatening injuries and was able to swim to
the bank before rescuers arrived. And of course, this crash
is under investigation. And in this story, a family wants
answers after a woman's body was found severely decomposed behind

of Interstate twenty four. Family seeking answers after a woman

in off I Interstate twenty four in Manchester, Tennessee. They
found her July fourteenth, According to the local news. Emily
Wolfe's mother last heard from her on the eleventh. The
following Monday, as Emily was working to file a missing

persons report, police notified Wolfe's daughter Aliyah, that wolf have
been found to cease behind the truck stop and Motel. Tennessee.
Location is approximately six hundred miles from Orlando, Florida, where
she was last seen. Quote. Someone says they saw her
get into a black car, and then the second person

said they got her. They saw her get into a
white semi truck. Emily said her mother. Authorities say they
are investigating a death as a homicide, but are awaiting
to report from the medical examiner to determine the cause
of death. Investigators say the decomposition of the bodies making

but she was a good person. She said, I want
to know what happened, like who did this to my

million in cocaine discovered in semi truck crossing from US
into Canada. Border authorities stopped a commercial vehicle driver from
hauling a large shipment of cocaine over the Canadian US border.
The drug seizure took place back in May at the
Ambassador Bridge. Officers accounted a commercial truck coming into Canada

from the US and referred the vehicle first secondary inspection.
While searching the trailer, the officers uncovered two suitcases and
five garbage maids containing one hundred and sixty one bricks
of suspected cocaine. The estimated street value of it is

by Royal Canadian Mounted Police with importation of cocaine and possession.

restricted licenses attending out of state trucking schools. Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Administration has denied a rural exemption request from
(38:39):
a commercial driver's license school related to training truck driving
students under twenty one years of age who have restricted licenses.
They announced it a notice to be published in the
Register that I just got done talking about in the
previous story, that it will deny an exemption request from
Michigan based Beyonco Trucking Services, which is a registered entry
(39:03):
level driver training provider beyond co asphederal authorities for an
exemption to allow students between the ages of eighteen and
twenty holding a K restricted in trust state only commercial
licensed learner permit issued by another state to attend their
driving training facility in Michigan. So, for example, let me
(39:26):
break this down. If you're in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, surrounding
states of Michigan, or any other and you're between eighteen
and twenty, and you have a regular car license and
you study for the written exam for a CDL and
you get a larner permit, but it's only a k

K level and you want to go to Michigan to
their truck driving school. They want an exemption for you
to attend under Motor Carrier Safety Administration is saying no,
we're not going to allow that, and explaining why the
request was not approved. FMCSA said that a similar exemption

request from three North LLCA was denied in December of
twenty twenty four. The agency agreed with the American Association
of Motor Vehicle Administrators that allowing drivers with a quote
K restriction to operate in states other than their home
state or their domicile that would disrupt and confuse each

state's use of the K restriction. They're trying to get
around it, is what they're trying to do. And you
have to go through a driving school in the state
where you have your license through. So I couldn't go
up to Wisconsin. I got a Mississippi license. I couldn't
go up to Wisconsin and go to their driving school.

I'd have to take one in Mississippi, is what they're
trying to say. The same reasoning applies to Biaco's request
for an exemption. Furthermore, based on information provided by the
applicant FMCSA is unable to determine that the applicant would
likely achieve a level of safety equivalent to or greater
than the level obtained by complying with the said regulations,

So it may not be strict enough. In other words,

a trail through the woods on I five in a
wreck and only had minor injuries. A semi truck blazed

According to state trooper, the semi was heading salt on
I five when it veered off the interstate and skidded

soda cans. The State Patrol says that the truck driver
sustained only minor injuries, and officials shut down two lanes
of the roadway as they worked to recover the semi
from the newly blazed trail through the woods. I'm sure

further information regarding the wreck was released at the time,
and six passed away after wreck sent two cars beneath
the semi and prompted a five hour rescue. Six people
passed away after two cars went underneath the semi, prompting

a five hour rescue. In North Carolina. This happen, of course,
back in July. The crash happened on Interstate four eighty
five around Charlotte. According to the local news, sixteen year

old Paul Sorry was driving a Honda when he moved
into the right lane and collided with a Chrysler van
driven by twenty seven year old Samuel Holmes. Initial impact
sent both cars crashing into the side of a semi trailer,
where they became stuck. Five to six people inside the
van were killed in the crash, including Holmes, a twenty

three year old woman, and three children. Eight and younger
was also killed in the crash. A sixteen year old
girl was the sole surviving passenger of the van. She
was transported to the hospital and treated for injuries. The
truck driver was not hurt in the incident. First responders
worked in dangerous heat conditioned to connect the five hour rescue.

The rescue involved lifting the semi trailer in order to
remove both trapped vehicles. The outer loop of four to
eighty five was closed for several hours during this time.
No charges are expected to be filed because both of
the people that were driving the cars died and nothing
that the truck driver could do. When the eye this

didn't turn his head to the right, just worried about

trying to pass between two semi trucks on a New
York interstate. New York State Police are investigating a fatal

crash involving a motorcycle and two commercial vehicles that occurred
on July twenty sixth. Troopers say that forty two year
old New York resident was operating a two thousand and
one Peterbilt semi in the driving lane when a truck
tire blowout occurred. He slowed while looking for a safe
(45:43):
place to pull off of I eighty one as air slowed.
Iowa based truck driver Barbara L. Armstrong was driving a
twenty twenty four Peterbilt in the passing lane overtaking errors.
As the two semis occupied both lanes. A motorcycle operated

by Austin Leonard of twenty eight years of age, approached
from behind an attempted to pass between the two trucks.
So you got a truck over here and a truck
over here, and here comes the motorcycle. Try to pass
it between the two. After passing the trucks, he lost
control of the bike, struck the guard rail along the

west shoulder, and was ejected from the bike. He later
succumbed to his injuries and passed away. So he was
going at a high rate of speed the semi had
to blowout. He was slowing down trying to move over
to get off the road safely the truck. As he

was slowing down, another truck tried to pass them, and
here comes the motorcycle. Instead of slowing down, figure out
what's going on. No, I'm going to go right down
and read the two of them. How stupid can you be?
I ride motorcycles. How dumb can you be? I'm sorry
the guy passed away, but it was his own fault.

And in this story, two motorists are pinned in two
separate vehicles after crash underneath the semi. Two people were
pinned inside of two separate vehicles after crash that set
one underneath the semi trailer in New Mexico. This happened
July twentieth, according to Albuquerque Fire and Rescue. The cause
(47:39):
of the crash has not been determined at the time
of the writing of the article, but firefighters arrived to
find a vehicle on fire that was pinned underneath the semi.
One person was pinned inside and what was extricated in
twelve minutes as crews worked to extinguish the fire. That
person sustained potentially life threatening injuries. A third vehicle was
(48:03):
also involved in the crash and came to a stop
fifty yards away from the other crash site. Percido also
had to be extricated from that vehicle was serious but
not life threatening injuries. It's unclear if the truck driver
was injured, but no other injuries were reported but those
two people, and at the time of the writing of
the article, the cause of the wreck was not known.

After a fatal crash with a bus on I thirty five.
Interstate thirty five were shut down overnight after suspects armed
with an AK style rifle fled a crash into a bus.

This happened July seventeenth thirty five, near San Antonio, Texas.
According to the local news, men in the camaro led
police at a high speed chase along the interstate, where
they eventually crashed into the bus. Traffic cam and news
(49:54):
footage of the scene show at least one semi was
affected by the crash. The four suspects quickly fled the
fatal crash scene. One of the men was reportedly armed
with a AK style rifle, so they don't know for sure.
Four people were killed in the crash. Two died at
the scene, while two succumbed to their injuries later at

the hospital. Thirteen other patients were taken to a nearby
hospital off the bus. Two of those patients are in
critical condition. As of a couple of days later, or
that night, people were still actively searching for the forest suspects,
(50:36):
and as of a few days later, a fifth person
died as police continued search for the small group of
men who fled this crash scene. And that was yeah,
almost five days later. So this happened on Thursday day.

The following Tuesday, the men still were not found. Remaining
two patients left at the hospital are in good and
fair condition, respectively, and another Safety Week is coming the

Safety Alliance Driver Week enforcement effort is officially in the books,
but the next major truck blitz is already right around
the corner. It's the end of this month, August twenty

breaks Safety Week inspection. The purpose of the inspection the
enforcement to reduce commercial vehicle crashes caused by faulty brakes.
The area emphasis will be drums and rots, like this

checking for cracks and how thin your shoes are, Cracks
in the drum, cracks and the shoes and the lining
cracks and pads, how thin the pads are. They can
also check that now they never used to be able to,

disc brakes now that they never used to. And they
can check your pad, lining and stuff as well. They'll
be conducting these inspections. Canada Mexico and US. There was

an unannounced brake safety day on a back in April
and they conducted four five hundred and sixty nine inspections
and placed three almost four hundred of them out of
service due to break related violations. So remember that. I
