Speaker 2 (01:35):
And good evening. I hope you're having a good week.
This week, I decided to hop on here and do
a live stream. I have lots of news to get
to and shout out to Brian sarge Dryer on Facebook

(01:59):
and Colin and Esen. The two of you are really
going to love one of the stories that I have
to chat about this evening and discuss, so let's get
right to it. I also give you a little bit

(02:19):
of an update. I also have a how to channel.
I have changed the title of it from Julia's Truck
a Cafe how To Channel to just Julia's how To
and DIY Channel because now that I'm retired from being
over the road, I am doing projects and around the

(02:45):
house and different kind of things.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I know.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Some women in my family and I know other women
that are widowed. The women in my family are are older.
I couldn't really do it, but for women that are
single that are widowed lost their husband, I'm doing these
projects also doing it's kind of like an instructional video

(03:10):
like they have, Like I call it the YouTube Mechanical Channel.
I learn a lot on there from different things that
I want to do, from mechanics into just all kinds
of stuff. So I'm going to be doing projects in
the future and I'll be doing videos for those and

(03:31):
posting it on that channel, So please stop by and
give it a subscribe and a thumbs up. I'd appreciate it.
Also subscribe here, and if you like the videos, give
it a thumbs up. I'm also doing each article againing
clips and if you don't want to watch the full episode,

(03:51):
you can just watch any particular article, and then I'm
also doing shorts as well. We're from the clips. So
and another channel I'm also doing is Julia's Just Bitching,
where it's a ranting channel that if you need to

(04:12):
rant about anything, whether it's work, the company you're working for, anything,
stop by to Julia's Just Bitching channel. I'll try to
schedule those a little bit better and stop in the chat.
I would greatly love to see you. So those are

(04:33):
my few announcements for this time, and let's get on
to the news one second. My youngest son decided to
show up. So I have to give my youngest son

(04:55):
a shout out and mom is waving back, so thank
you for your support. Son. In the first article right

(05:16):
off the bat, change screens here just a second. Whoops,
there we go. I make sure I hit the right one.
Here the first article right off the bat a crash
involving a sedan sends a semi truck into a New
Jersey gentleman's club. So, Brian and Colin, this one is

(05:41):
for y'all. New Jersey authorities respond to a crash involving
a commercial vehicle and a passenger car that resulted in
significant structural damage to a gentleman's club. And if you

(06:02):
could see here, at least they missed the stripper poles
in the very back corner. I don't know if you
could see my cursor, but in the very back corner
towards the center of the photo, that's the front of
the semi that came through the end of the building.

(06:24):
Firefighters responded to a reported crash around three in the
morning on the second of August in hampton Borough, New Jersey.
Officials say that a sedan and a semi collided on
State Route thirty one in hampton Borough. The impact caused

(06:47):
the tractor trailer to leave the roadway, strike a utility pole,
bringing down live wires, and crash it to the nearby building,
resulting in moderate structural dam image. I hope it wasn't
a dog on load bearing post, but at least they

(07:08):
saved the stripper polls just say. Firefighters assisted the truck
driver with extraction from the vehicle. The driver of the
passenger vehicle is able to self extricate. Both the truck
driver and motors were medically assessed at the scene but
refused transportation to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.

(07:32):
A hazmat team responded to the scene to help contain
fugal spills. The incident is under investigation of what happened,
why did he veero off the highway? And in this
next story, CBSA calls for a maximum women and use

(07:53):
of personal convance by truck drivers. Now, if you remember,
personal conveyance is off duty driving and I used personal
conveyance all the time called PCAN. And now CBSA, which

(08:16):
is a Commercial Vehicle Safety administration, and I know it's
under the Department of Transportation, but I'm also wondering if
it isn't under the Federal Mortar Carrier Safety Administration or
are they. I think there's maybe sister agencies. Back to

(08:37):
the article, They recently told congers there should be more
restrictions on the use of personal conveyance by commercial vehicle
drivers following a rise and abuse and misuse of the provision.
On July twenty ninth, they submitted a public comments to
the US Senate on the recent hearing Shifting Gears issue.

(09:01):
Shifting gears issuing impact the trucking and commercial bus industries
in the US, intended to help lawmakers better understand issues
facing the truck and industry. CVSA comment comments touched a
variety of trucking topics, including universal Electronic Vehicle Identifiers for

(09:23):
commercial vehicles, automated automated truck excuse me, and eled certification standards. Notably,
and I can't get this with my tablet being plugged in,
I can't get it any closer, so I'm having to
turn my head, so I apologize that I'm not right
in the camera. Notably, their comments include a recommendation that

(09:43):
federal transportation authorities add a maximum time limit to the
use of personal conveyance exemption in order to reduce the
risk of driver fatigue. Oh yeah, we if I wasn't
getting loaded in Florida, and as long as I was
not laid in what they call for the rule was
not making money, and I was had my own rig

(10:07):
and my own authority, my own numbers and everything. And
I was in Florida and I wanted to come home
to Mississippi, I would p see. As long as it
wasn't that I was making money, I could. So that's
what they're talking about. Opportunities for driver fatigue can be

(10:30):
reduced by clarifying the definition of personal conveyance within the
FMCSRs by adding federal rules adding a maximum time for
its use. They just similar government regulation. My personal opinion.
Under personal conveyance, a driver is able to use a
loaded or unloaded commercial vehicle for personal use and count

(10:52):
that driving time as off duty time. With the current
definition of personal convance, a driver can drive hundreds of
miles over the course of several hours under the designation
of personal conveyance, before, during, or after their workday, putting
them at risk for increased levels of fatigue. Now, if
you are working for a company, the federal Motor Carrier

(11:15):
Safety Administration FMCSA went ahead and let the companies mandate
that dictate that that like one of the companies I
was leased onto, you could only do personal convance like
for an hour or one hundred and fifty miles or

(11:36):
something like that. It's the drivers that own their own
equipment and have their own ELD and those type of
instances that will turn around. And that's what they're trying
to regulate because FMCSA let companies do that with the

(12:01):
current definition. Like I mentioned to see if CVSA said
the inspectors have reported an uptick an abusive misuse of
personal conveyance in the recent years. It goes on a
couple more paragraphs. This show is gonna be a little lengthy,
letting you all know I have almost thirty articles to

(12:21):
talk about, thirty different stories. So sit down, grab your popcorn,
grab something to drink, or turn it on and over dinner.
So let's get on to the next article. Illinois troopers
issue a warning after multiple vehicles damaged on fifty seven
by objects being thrown from the bridges slash overpasses. Illinois

(12:47):
State Police are investigating after several vehicles traveling on I
fifty seven were damaged by objects thrown from overpasses around
the Effingham area. That's my stopping grounds. Hold on one second,
that is like, there we go. I don't know where

(13:08):
that went. There we go. I had to fix that. Whoops.
On August fourth, Illinois State Patrol issued an alert after
vehicles were damaged by objects thrown on fifty seven in

(13:28):
Effingham and Shelby Counties to per se that multiple damage
to vehicle reports have been taken over the past week.
They're investigating these incidents in cases of vehicular engagement a
class too felony under Illinois law. School didn't start. School
started down in here in Mississippi in July, so it

(13:53):
was a lot. The police are asking for help from
the public in Illinois in locating suspecs or suspicious activity
spotted on I fifty seven near overpasses between Effingham and
Siegel mile marker one sixty five to one seventy. If
you witness any suspicious activity or have dash cam video

(14:16):
from the area during the nighttime hours in recent days,
you were asked to call the Illinois State Police. You
could reach out to them at area code two one
seven three four two seven eight seven to one. Again,
that number is two to one, seven, three, four to two,
seven eight seven one. Now let's see what happened to

(14:39):
my other Yeah, all right, I'm I'm so many articles,
so I'm getting losing track of where I'm already and
I'm only in the fourth one. And in this story,
California is letting drivers off of the warning if they

(15:00):
fail in English proficiency as assessment. So last episode, two
episodes ago, with the Trumpet administration's mandate on making sure
that commercial drivers are have English proficiency, that they can

(15:21):
speak English and answer you know, officers questions and follow
instructions on this kind of thing. Well leave it to California.
They are now letting drivers off of the warning if
they don't they fail English proficiency. You know why, because
they're afraid they're going to leave their state and that
messes up the voting districts and everything that happened to Texas.

(15:46):
So let's get to the story truck drivers. And also
this is for truck drivers as well as just you know,
non truck driving people. Truck drivers who fail in English
proficiency evaluation are being let off with a warning in
the state of California, Mexican trucking industry leaders say since
last week of June, an executive order has made English

(16:07):
proficiency a priority for truck drivers. This means that the
inability to pass an English language proficiency assessment is now
grounds for being placed out of service. Truck is parked,
you can't drive sorry. As of July thirtieth, approximately one thousand,
five hundred truck drivers have been placed out of service

(16:27):
for failing to exhibit sufficient proficiency in English. I knew
there was a lot of them. However, trucking industry leaders
in the state of California say that state officials are
being more lenient with these new rules. Of course they are.
They're going to buck the new administration any chance they get. Quote.

(16:47):
Authorities of California aren't being as strict as those of
Texas or New Mexico, said Alfonso Milan. Chavez of the
National Chamber of Freight Transportation in by California, Mexico says
the truck drivers operating in California receiving only a warning
and instructions to work on learning English. Yeah, like they're

(17:08):
going to have time to do that if they do
not pass the assessment. Quote, they aren't being stopped or
take it out of service. If a driver seems stuck
or doesn't know how to answer, that's when they get
the warning. In Mexico, some trucking companies in truck and
industry groups are working to provide English language classes to
truck drivers to help them drive legally. In the US, quote,

(17:31):
we are respectful and mindful of the new regulations. We
are working to find ways to solve this problem. Helping
trucking companies and their driver's shop is added. And this
is a irking point with me, my pet Peeve, I
speak Polish. I am not real fluid with it, but
I speak Polish. And if you're in public, our main

(17:55):
language here in this country is English. I don't have
to tell any born Americans here that little factoid. So
when you talk Spanish or your own native language in public,
it's rude, very rude. Not that I want to know
anybody anything about your business. I could care less, but

(18:16):
it's still very rude to be chattering away in Spanish
out in public. Save it for when you and the
person you're chatting with or whatever on the phone or
or video call, facetiming, whatever you want to call it,

(18:37):
or at home or.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
What have you.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I don't speak polish out in front of everybody. If
my son and I were going to Walmart or what
have you, I'm not gonna sit there and speak polish.
You wouldn't understand me anyway. But I'm not gonna do that.
It's just rude. It's called common courtesy. Just excuse me,
just plain rude. And remember, oh goodness, this has been

(19:05):
a couple of years ago. This cargo ship hit struck
the Franciscott Key Bridge in Maryland. Yeah, this has been
a few years ago, and they were trying to reverse
the engines and everything in this this so that's all containers.
All those different colors are containers on that ship, and

(19:27):
they couldn't it like locked up, they couldn't reverse the engines.
They were coming close to the bridge. They actually hit
the bridge on one of the cement pillars in the
center and literally tore down the bridge. Cars went in
the water. You know, people were hurt. I traveled across

(19:47):
that bridge when I was driving. It's up in Baltimore, Maryland.
And now all these years later, the owners of the
ship are suing the shipbuilders for the catastrophic crash into
the Francis Scott Key Bridge. I'm sure that the shipping

(20:08):
company is being sued. Excuse me, the owner is being
sued for rebuilding that bridge. You're not just gonna get
away with it for nothing. So cargo ship owners say
that a fault in the design of the ship led
to the catastrophic crash. There again, they're passing the buck

(20:29):
on down the line, my opinion, a catastrophic crash in
the Francis Scott Key Bridge, prompting a lawsuit. The crash
led to the collapse of the bridge in Maryland. This
happened in twenty twenty four. Well, okay, so it wasn't
a few years ago, just last year, in twenty twenty four.
Now the owners of that ship, the Dolly, are suing

(20:51):
the company that built the ship, alleging negligence in the
design of the crucial switchboard they say malfunctioned in the
moments leading up to the main major accident that very
well could happen. They were trying to get a hold
of the ship by radio, the coast Guard and everything,
and they're saying, we lost control. We don't have any
control of this boat ship. The owners Grace Ocean Private

(21:17):
and Synergy Marine PKEE Limited, filed the lawsuit against Yundai
Heavy Industries last week in the US District Court for
the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. As a result of the
defectively designed switchboard, the vessel suffered a power hour outage
that led to the elijon with a key bridge. No,

(21:41):
you took it down. There is no elaison with the bridge.
You hit the damn thing and you took it down.
You destroyed it, and that's a heavy ass ship. The
suit alleges that the switchboard was designed in a manner
that caused the wiring connections to be insecure, which caused
the switchboard and the vessel to be unreasonably dangerous when

(22:06):
it left the hhi's control. The hgi's defective manufacture of
the switchboard and vessel causedes signal wiring to come loose
in normal operation, resulting in the power outage that led
to the crash. Let's say. Last year, the Justice Department
filed a lawsuit against the ship owner see seeking compensation
for one hundred million dollars spent clearing the water, debris

(22:30):
and reopening the port. The cargo ship owner agreed to
pay more than one hundred million to settle lawsuit. So
now he's going like I said, they're passing the buck. Oh,
I want to recoup some of my money. So now
I'm going after the shipbuilder. In the laws of the
Justice Department, accused the cargo ship owner of failing to
address excessive vibrations on the ship that led to the

(22:53):
wiring issue. Currently, Cruise are still working to remove the
remaining large sections of the bridge to begin replacement. The
bridge replacement is expected to reopen in twenty twenty eight,
so it's still three years from now, so that that's
gonna that Francis Scott Key going around, that's going around

(23:15):
the southern part of Baltimore on six ninety five, eight
ninety five, I believe, Yeah, eight ninety five. And because
there's four four ninety fives were on Washington and Baltimore,
then there's six ninety five are on the top side,
and then eight ninety five are on the southern side.
It's gonna be closed for four years, and that the

(23:38):
bridge replacement UH for nour trucking companies are still figuring
out alternate routes and surrounding cities are working to combat
the traffic and road conditions. These workarounds bring. It was
a was a toll bridge, so you did have to
pay a toll to cross the bridge. But yeah, so

(23:59):
one hundred million, that's just to get stuff out of
the water, all the damage and everything, the steel girders,
and to clean up the river. So yeah, that that's
a little bit of pocket change. And our next story.

(24:20):
IE sixty five in Indiana has closed after a fatal
three semi truck collision. Indiana State Police are investigating a
fiery fatal crash involving multiple semi trucks that occurred late
Monday night in Jasper County. O one quick thing, when
my son says hi, Grandma, that's really from my grandson.

(24:42):
So my son waved to low and then my grandson
saying hi to his his boosha. So back back to
the news. The crash occurred around eleven pm on August fourth,
on southbound I sixty five at exit two twenty and
Pharaoh Oaks. Indiana State Troopers say that these semi three

(25:03):
semi trucks were involved in a collision, resulting in at
least one fatality. One of the trailers was loaded with
peat moss, which kept reigniting as crews responded to the crash.
Indiana State Police said on Tuesday, let's say this article
was written, that would be the fourth. They said on

(25:27):
the fourth that there's currently no estimated time for the
southbound I sixty five to reopen at that time because
the roadway will require repaving. After the damaged vehicles and
other materials were removed and the traffic course, traffic was
being diverted. And Nebraska troopers stop over one eight hundred

(25:53):
drivers for speeding during a safety operation. I'm wondering what
highway was it? The Interstate was on the highway. We'll
find let's find out. The Nebraska State Patrol released results
from a major traffic enforcement effort back in July. They

(26:14):
were conducting speeding catches. Up with you, yay because every
time and I've traveled across eighty quite extensively in Nebraska,
and the speed limit it was seventy seventy five, seventy
five maybe possibly eighty in spots. Oh, they were doing
one hundred easy, easy, and it's like, you know, a blur.

(26:38):
So this campaign was from July fourteenth to July thirty first,
and the key takeaways from the campaign were one eight
hundred and six traffic stops for speeding, sixty two traffic
stops for drives speeding at over one hundred miles an hour,

(26:59):
sixty two citations issued, ninety one citations issued driving under suspension.
Fifty citations were issued for open alcohol, thirty one for
minor in possession of an out, thirty one for a
minor in possession of alcohol, forty four for no seat belt,

(27:22):
eighteen for improper child restraint. Kids weren't buckled up. Quote.
The summer has flown by, said Colonel Brian wah No, pun,
Intended Superintendent in Nebraska State Patrol. Some of the speeds
our troopers have seen from drivers have been ir regious.

(27:42):
Triple digit speeds can be shocking, but those aren't the
only speeds that cause tragedies on the road. All drivers
should follow the postage speed limits. I'm gonna do a
my just bitching channel. I'm gonna do a whole video
about that and have a live stream about that, even

(28:03):
in my area, and which is a smaller town in
northern Mississippi. Quote. Since Memorial Day, which is back in May,
our troopers have stopped two hundred and forty five drivers
for speeding over one hundred miles an hour, including one
hundred and eighteen in July alone. As the summer travel

(28:26):
season winds down over the next month, our troopers will
remain dedicated to keep Nebraska road safe, but it also
takes partnership from motorists to follow traffic safety laws and
watch your speed and following distance. I will put in
as well, stop your damn tailgating. Anyway, that's enough for

(28:50):
my rand. And this young man had a mistrial declared
when he was charged her shooting a trucker that allegedly
tried to run over his dad. A mistrial has been
declared for a man charged with attempted murder and more
after a truck driver allegedly tried to run over his dad.

(29:11):
This incident happened back in August of twenty twenty two
near Crown Point, Indiana. The mistrial was declared on August fourth.
According to the Chicago Tribune, twenty nine year old Paul
Slopped is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, battery by

(29:31):
means of a deadly weapon, battery resulting in serious bodily
injury for an incident involving a truck driver. Slot It's
slat so I'm thinking that's how to pronounce it. Sorry
if I butcher it. Slot and his father were reportedly
turning onto fifty one hundred Melton Road when the truck

(29:52):
driver went around them, clipping their side mirror. Two men
eventually confronted the truck driver at a stoplight where Slot's
father stood in front of the semi truck. Oh, that
was real, brilliant. The sixty four year old truck driver
then attempted to leave the scene, which Slot interpreted as
trying to run his father over. Slot then jumped on
the truck hood fired about five shots, hitting the truck

(30:15):
driver in the chest and shoulder. Truck driver was able
to leave the scene and seek refuge at an Indiana
Department of Transportation building, where he got helped. The driver
eventually told police that he didn't think he was following
too closely and did not realize he had clipped the mirror.
The truck driver did survive his injuries. The confrontation was

(30:36):
caught on video, which has not been released. Back August forth,
Slot lawyer Scott King asked the judge for a mistrial
after he interviewed a juror on the stand and discover
that she had told other jurors she was not able
to excuse me, not able to be fair and impartial
in regards to the trial, and did not want to
miss an appointment she had later in the week. Oh

(30:59):
you're summon for jury duty. Well I'll just go ahead
and eavesdrops. I don't think I could be fair and impartial.
Plus I got a doctor's appointment at the end of
the week. Well anymore, you can't just get into a
doctor's office either. It takes months to get an appointment.
But either neither here nor there. So the trial has

(31:23):
then been rescheduled for October fourth, and that the deputy
prosecutor agreed with King's request and a mistrial was declared.
It's a lot as charge, Attempted murder, aggravated Batteryes, like
I said, he's pled not guilty to all charges. Well,

(31:43):
it wasn't real brilliant of his dad to step out
in front of a dout on eighty thousand pounds semi.
I'm like, really, really, guys, come on, that's a sign
of brilliance. Here's another sign of brilliance right here. Those
little white things, those are break the dark line looking

(32:03):
things are break lines. Little white things those are zip ties.
Those are illegal to try to fix brake lines with
on a commercial vehicle. And then of course he got
caught out in California, California troopers take commercial vehicle out
of service for a zip blind, zip tipe break fix.

(32:27):
The California Highway patroller Chip lovingly called recently took a
commercial vehicle off the road for major safety violations. They
are a dollar pass no that pass well located in Trucky, California,
and recently encountered an attempted brake repair that earned the
driver a citation and an out of service. So guess what,

(32:51):
you try to save money now you're gonna pay double breake.
Violations like this will come under extra scrutiny later this month,
which is next week. Break Safety Week is next week
can your truck pass? The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance breaks
Safety Week twenty four through the thirtieth Canada, Mexico. In

(33:12):
the US special emphasize on drums and rots this year
Cracked drums, cracked rotors, bad pads because a lot of
some my trucks have disc brakes. Now I'll be looked.
They're able to check the how much pad you have
left down? Not only how thick the drums are, but

(33:33):
how much pad do you have left on your U
brake pads if you're running discs. See initially when disc
brakes come out on trucks, they didn't have no way
to measure the amount of pad that you had left.
They're getting smart, so dog on it. Let's step that one.

(34:03):
Let's step that one. All right, there we go. We
went the wrong way and Dallas now Dallas, Texas now
has a commercial motor vehicle enforcement unit fully operational. After

(34:23):
two years of preparation, a new commercial motor vehicle enforcement
union is now fully operational around Dallas two years after
it was approved by the city council. Mesquite, Texas City
Council approved the enforcement unit in twenty twenty three. While
the unit technically launched in May of twenty twenty four,

(34:45):
the team spent the last fifteen months receiving specialized transportation,
specialized training excuse me, and acquiring the correct equipment. As
of this week, Mesquite Police Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Unit,
it's fully operation and ready to patrol North Texas highways
and streets. Specifically designed F one fifty interceptor, the unit

(35:09):
consists of two officers and one sergeant unit will enforce
Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance rules to maintain road safety related
to commercial vehicles or drivers the road the goal of
preventing crashes and a truck driver or top story, A

(35:33):
truck driver's body is pulled from a mangled cab in
a single one vehicle accident. Truck driver's body was pulled
from the wreckage after a single vehicle accident that destroyed
his cab. Accident happened around six forty five in the

(35:56):
morning on US on Interstate sixteen in Making, Georgia. According
to the local news, a semi truck veered off the
side of I sixteen and struck a construction barrier near
mile marker one. The truck then moved on to the
right shoulder struck another construction barrier, bringing the vehicle to

(36:16):
a stop. Yeah, that's a big construction area right there.
First responders pronounced the truck driver doa at six forty five,
and the truck driver's body was extricated from the truck
cabs soon after. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Georgia State Patrol has since identified the truck driver as

(36:38):
Donnie Culbrath. No further information has been released. Sure, they're
still investigating that, and our condolences are to his family.
And two semi trucks, both hauling two bold strike the

(37:01):
same bridge within minutes. Idaho State Patroller investigating two commercial
vehicle bridge strikes that occurred near Blackfoot. The two bridge
strikes occurred around five thirty pm on northbound I fifteen

(37:24):
north of Blackfoot, Idaho. Too per save that thirty six
year old Mail from New Plymouth was operating a nineteen
eighty six Meeter Belt that was hauling two bulldozers when
the load struck the Porterville Road bridge. Soon after, a
twenty thirteen Voval semi that was hauling two bulldozers driven

(37:45):
by forty seven year old Mail from Las Vegas was
traveling northbound between the first semi when it also struck
the bridge. It struck underneath the bridge, not the side
or anything, so it hit the under rails of the bridge.
Idaho State Patrol said that both truck drivers were wearing

(38:07):
their seatbelts and no injuries were reported. The bridge strikes
closed both directions. So apparently now I don't know any
a lot about flatbed, but I do know from talking
with flat betters that you have to measure the height
from is it from the ground up to the top
of the piece of equipment or especially if you're oversized

(38:31):
and you know, you have yardsticks and everything for that,
so you would have to measure that to make sure.
And those bridges on the you know, going underneath the
underneath the overpass like that, aren't they like fifteen or
sixteen feet tall? So that meant that they were over
height like that. So hmmmm, leave a comment in the

(38:58):
down below if bright or not on my as far
as the measurement and how tall bridges are in this
kind of thing, So please leave a comment below. I'd
like to know about that. And A mechanic is arrested
for selling fake commercial vehicle inspection stickers to more than

(39:21):
one hundred and fifty trucking companies a mechanic Pennsylvania authorities
arrested mechanic on dozens of charges related to forging state
inspection stickers and selling them to trucking companies. Halifax, Pennsylvania
resident Ferris Farhat, who's fifty, was arrested on back in

(39:43):
the first week of August, on eighty one felony counts.
According to the Montgomery County DA charges include dealing in
the proceeds of off activities, forgery, corrupt organization, deceptive business practices,
altered goods, theft by deception, fabricate physical evidence, unknown falsification

(40:05):
to authorities, altered forged, counterfeit documents or plates, and those
related charges. Oo, buddy, he's in a heap of trouble.
Farhad did business as A plus Auto Inspections or A
and then the word plus wrote out autocare LLC, operating

(40:26):
from multiple locations including Philmont Avenue in the Huntington Valley,
Montgomery County, and Torreze Avenue in Philadelphia. An investigation was
launched after Pennsylvania State Police and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
officials noticed safety inspection stickers that were missing security features,

(40:47):
the serial numbers of authorized inspection stations, and other abnormalities.
So just like a I want to say dollar bill,
but any kind of currency, paper currency, you have that
little stripe and everything those security features to help forging. Well,

(41:08):
your inspection stickers they have all those little security features too,
like the year and the date on the bat on
your tag. If that is ripped off, it'll say void
across it automatically. If it's tampered with or anything, so
he didn't think about all these security features on there.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
These counterfeit safety inspection stickers were found at commercial vehicles
that had severe mechanical deficiencies, including Warner separate, separating brake pads,
and other conditions that would have made them inoperable under
Pennsylvania and federal law and taking them out of service
and off the roadways. Faire Hat's signature was found on
the back of these stickers. Investigators learned that fair Hat

(41:54):
was suspended as a certified state inspection mechanic, but that
he continued to provide services in spite of this suspension.
See they just don't learn. It's gonna bite you in
the ass, guys, you just don't learn. So fair had
continued to advertise conduct both federal and state safety inspections
that issued counterfeit Pennsylvania Sea Safety inspection certificates and stickers

(42:19):
and other associated documents like Federal Safety Inspection Certificate stickers
and record of annual inspection forms to both individual and
commercial vehicles as well as entire fleets. Because he was suspended,
Fairhaut was unable to obtain a legitimate inspection stickers that
allegedly forge the stickers in order to deceive his customers

(42:41):
into believing that he was providing legitimate, annual state and
federal inspection services. You could have killed somebody and then
what you know, Oh so sorry, so sorry, oh sorry.
If I'm leaning my head, I don't realize it. According
to this the deal, the district Attorney's office, I mean

(43:08):
Farehead would accept cash or zell payments in amounts ranging
from one hundred and fifty to two hundred and fifty
dollars for the counterfeit stickers. That's a chunk. So there
again they caught him. He's busted. It's gonna come and
bite you in the ass.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
You know, it just is.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
And this man was arrested for stealing a brand new
semi and stripping it of its parts and then torching it.
Man was arrested and connected to a brand new stolen
Semi truck that was stripped the parts and torched on
the side of Interstate ninety one. Forty five year old
Jason Dennis was arrested in Connecticut on the end of

(43:49):
July and connects it to the theft of a brand
new Peter Belt back in March. According to the local news.
The brand new Peter built Semi was stolen from the
dealership and was reported stolen. Police later found a torch
on the side of I ninety one in North Haven.
Been there and noticed, excuse me, that several parts have

(44:10):
been removed before it was set on fire. So he
needed the parts, so he went ahead and said, oh,
just go ahead and grab me a high. Police then
launched an investigation that led them to execute a search
warrant at New Haven Truck and Autobody and East Haven.
Their officers found a refurbished Semi with several stolen parts installed.

(44:32):
Police seize the semi truck had placed Dennis under arrest.
He was charged of first degree larceny, third degree burglary,
first degree criminal trover trover trove er trover. He has
since posted one hundred and fifty thousand dollars bond and
his court data just passed. Excuse me, uh, I just

(44:57):
had to sneeze. Sorry about that. Love Alive. You gotta
love live streaming. Oops, All right, shut that one off
and up next of officials hope truck parking expansion at

(45:20):
JFK Airport will reduce the illegal truck parking in Queens.
That's yeah, that's in New York City where that salsa
comes from. No, not really, but anyway, remember the old
pace uh salsa commercial that uh, that stuff's made in

(45:41):
New York City. Anyway, I'm showing my age.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
So this uh.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Back around the August sixth, work began on a project
that will triple the amount of available truck parking at
the JFK International Airport in Queens, New York. Ground was
broken on the project to expand on airport truck parking
quote to better manage the increasing cargo operations at JFK,
while also addressing community concerns with a growing number of

(46:10):
trucks that park illegally on neighborhood streets near the airport.
Project will triple JFK's current truck parking capacity by demolishing
a long vacant building of the property good idea adding
parking spaces for up to one hundred additional trucks. Now,
concessions and restroms will also be added as new concessions

(46:30):
I'm sorry and restrooms will be added as part of
the project. The project is expected to be completed by
late next year. Illegal overnight truck parking has been a
major concerning Queen's four years. And there again the article
goes on a little bit. And I've been getting some
lengthy articles lately. And look at this brilliant guy, FedEx.

(46:55):
That's why my packages are always late. Dog on it.
Don't be driving off the on bridge, really, dude, that's
why the stuff that I ordered is always running late.
Quit driving off the side of the highway. Pay attention,
what the hell you're doing. Hopefully you didn't have a
medical emergency. FedEx. A cab hangs off of Texas Highway

(47:16):
and was left hanging. This is back the beginning of
August the accident happened, so that would be like two
weeks ago. Accident happened on State Highway one forty six
at the overpass of West Main and Laport, Texas. According
to the local news, the gay cab was on the
State Highway overpass crossing West Main when the truck cab

(47:39):
went off of the roadway. The cab was left hanging
off the overpass, still attached to the trailer. Exact cause
of the crash was not released. No other vehicles were involved.
Truck drive was transported to a hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries were reported. The incident forced the closure
of the southbound lanes as yeah, to get him off

(48:00):
the dog going overpass. So if he wasn't injured, and
if he didn't have a medical emergency, hmm, what else
was there? Not paying attention to what the heck he
was doing. So there's a trucker at Fort Stewart during

(48:22):
apparent shooting says he thought we were at war for
about a half an hour, So apparently there's a lot
of gunfire at Fort Stewart. A truck driver related his
experience at Fort Stewart during a recent shooting at the
Georgia Army base in an an interview was a news outlet.

(48:42):
This happened the sixth of August. The shooting happened at
Fort Stewart Army Base at Georgia. Five soldiers excuse me,
worst shot before other soldiers subdued the shooter. All five
soldiers survived the attack, Thank goodness, oh goodness, this evening.
Excuse me. Truck driver Ron Peebe was finishing up a

(49:06):
delivery at the base when it went into lockdown. He
says that he didn't know what was going on until
the lockdown was over, but that it was a really
scary and alarming time when he wasn't driving very long.
Peebe said that he was trying to exit the base
to head to Atlanta when they stopped him at the
gate without much explanation. They don't have to explain nothing
to you. The guards were agitated at the gate. They

(49:28):
were unsettled, he said. I initially thought, probably for the
first half hour almost that we were at war. It
was a reminiscent of nine to eleven. Everything was shut down.
They finally stopped traffic so I could get turned around.
When I got out of my vehicle to see why
I couldn't go straight, which is the only thing I could,
I really could have done, they yelled at me to

(49:48):
get back of the truck and told me to turn around.
It was like a ghost town, he added. So, yeah,
during the lockdown like that, you don't get out of
your damn vehicle. You do what you're told. When you're
on a military base, you are a visitor, and you
do what the heck they're told. Don't know what's the matter.

(50:10):
You're gonna be getting out like it's nothing. Another another
reason why I'm gonna be I have my Julia's just
bitching channel good Grief and in this story, troopers comman
deer passing semi truck to block traffic from an active shooter.

(50:32):
Pennsylvania troopers responding to the scene of an active shooter
able to commander a passing semi truck to block further
traffic from driving into the area. Sixty one year old
Carmi Fiano shot and killed his fifty seven year old
neighbor August seventh in Pennsylvania. Wassco's boyfriend called nine one

(50:54):
one just after eleven am. According to the local news,
Trooper Joseph for Chinski and William Jenkins were the first
to respond to the scene were promptly shot by Fiano.
Perchinsky was shot and the chest and torso, and Jenkins
was shot once in each arm. Biano then shot at
the police vehicles at an SUV driven by an EMT.

(51:16):
He took a vase. If the action had veered off
the side of the roadway and crashed. He was able
to make it out of his vehicle, and he actually
hid for fear that Biano would continue firing upon him,
said the Pennsylvania State Police. The EMT was injured to
the in the incident and is now hospitalized in stable
to condition. Thank goodness, Perchinski and Jenkins were pulled to

(51:39):
safety by fellow troopers. Perchinsky applied a tournique to Jenkins's
arm before running to the roadway to stop a semi
from driving through the scene. Was able to commander a
semi that was driving by, and you ordered the driver
that of that semi to pull his rig across the
roadway so that more people would not drive down the
roadway and potentially be subjected to getting shot at. Fiana

(52:04):
shot down a police drone, fired more shots, and was
ultimately shot and killed during this incident, what he go loco?
After a period of attempting to negotiate with him, he
continued to be a threat, and he was shot by
members of the Special Emergency Response Team SWAT and he
passed away. I don't want to speak to his motive

(52:27):
leading up to this. I would say you could draw
certain conclusions from the standpoint that we believe Fiano shot
our victim prior to our arrival and then, from a
position of tactical and advantage, fired dozens and dozens of rounds.
Holy Moly. Both troopers were flown to the hospital for
treatment their current conditions weren't known at the time of
the writing of this article. See all the news that

(52:48):
you don't hear if you're not in the area. So wow,
dog one. An attractor trailer veers out of control and
played bunges into Winnipesaukee River and killing the driver. Unfortunately,
excuse me, goodness to this evening one second pull up

(53:15):
the article. Truck driver has passed away after he's out
of control. Semi truck veered across multiple barriers and plunged
into the Winnipegesakee River. Accident happened August eighth, at about
one ten to two in the morning on Interstate ninety
three southbound near mile marker fifty seven in New Hampshire.

(53:38):
According to New Hampshire State Police, the truck driver in
a twenty twenty five black Western Star failed to negotiate
a curve and broke through the center median guardrail. The
out of control semi truck then drove over the median
and embankment and cross. So you were going to goll
damn fast down the mountain in New Hampshire, which is

(54:00):
haillier than hell. Been there. I've been to all for
lower forty eight States. And then you wonder why you
couldn't stop. And they're saying out of control truck. No,
how about somebody who's just going to cotton pick it fast?
There again not watching their speed. And now I'm pologized

(54:23):
for apologize for the blurry picture. That's the best only
photo that I could find. A man arrested for stage
you could crash with a semi truck on the Louisiana Bridge.
He was arrested earlier this summer he staged a crash
with a semi truck. Crash happened just before ten pm
back in June at the Chafalaya Basin Bridge along I

(54:47):
ten near the intersection of Louisiana Highway in bow Bridge, Louisiana.
According to local news, thirty four year old motorist William
Baker passed a semi truck in the right lane going
west on the bridge and began straddling the center line
while no other vehicles or debris ahead of him. Baker

(55:08):
then hit his brakes, causing the semi to rear in
his car. And this is this Baker guy. During the investigation,
police suspected that Baker had staged the accident intentionally and
the truck driver provided dash cam footage that validated their
suspicions and to believe that. Baker provided a false police
report which contradicted the video footage provided by the truck driver.

(55:31):
That's why we have dash cams. Baker was booked into
the San Martin Parish Correctional Center for staging a motor
vehicle crash and filing or maintaining a false police report. Brilliant,
just brilliant. See the stories that I got to cover
this go round, and I still have a bunch more

(55:52):
to go. You're gonna love now this one, but the
next one after this one. And a former truck driver
sentenced to twenty nine years for attempting to murder the
boss who reprimanded him for his poor driving. While imagine
that a former truck driver has been sentenced to twenty

(56:12):
nine years in prison for an attempted murder of his
boss who reprimanded his poor personal hygiene and driving. Yet
you're not gonna get away with that crap in prison, dude.
Back November twenty twenty three, driver Zane Hammond was a
truck driver in United Freight Services in Phoenix for about

(56:34):
two years before he quit after being repeatedly remanded for
poor driving and personal hygiene. In other words, take a
damn shower and used the odorant. Hammond reportedly quit his job,
went home to Tucson, got drunk, and drove back to
Phoenix truck a company. Arms of the rifle. Oh you're
gonna get pissed off because a guy told you to
wash your asty ass. Really, I ham and then walked

(56:59):
into the boss's office at the truck company fired multiple
shots at him. Boss was able to flip the desk
and avoid being hit, thank goodness, by hiding behind it,
but Hammond soon turned a rifle on the vice president
that was also in the office. In a decisive and
heroic action, the vice president tackled him, disarmed him, and

(57:20):
helped held him in a chokehold until Phoenix police arrived.
Documents showed that Hammond had been reprimanded multiple times at
work for poor driving and poor personal hygiene before he
quit his truck driving job. Prosecutors believed that Hammond was
angry and believed he had been treated badly by both
management and customers. Poor baby, what go suck you? Tom?

(57:46):
Go get your baking and go in your safe home
so you won't turn around and have hord tweet wings
you poor poor teing. Yes, I'm trying to be like
tweetye road to Phoetis with a shotgun and a mission
to kill. So yeah, it's premeditated. I'd get his ass
on a premeditated murder. So enough about that, idiot, And

(58:13):
here's the one that you're gonna love. Semi truck is
stopped on Iowa interstate for missing a set of dual tires.
Semi truck with serious wheel wobble was recently stopped by
conservation officers on fishing feathers on the Iowa Interstate, according

(58:35):
to and then they called the commercial boys in. Yeah
you think he needs some tires. Even our Iowa Department
of Natural Resources fishing Feathers gets involved in a commercial
vehicle enforcement from time to time. We thank them for
stopping this truck today on I twenty nine, after was

(58:58):
called in for driving down the interstate with a missing
set of duels, said the troopers. They shared a photo
of the missing duels and the truck leaning heavily towards
the passenger's side as you could see there, you know,
it's like, yeah, a little obvious, but a lot of

(59:18):
times you don't check the lug nuts and they'll back
off if they don't torque the lug nuts down and
air like I I want to say ratchet gun, but
that's not it. One of the air guns that they
use to put them on with. They don't tighten them

(59:40):
down sufficiently, they still have to go back over with
a torque wrench. They don't torque them lug nuts down,
they'll spin backspin. And the answer you see the duels
rolling down the road, passing up the semi truck as
it's going down the road. So yep. And a former

(01:00:02):
Massachusetts troopers sends to one month in prison in beverages
for cdl's bribery scheme. So I reported on this last
year as well. Former Massachusetts State Police trooper was sentenced
to prison for his role in a scheme to provide
passing scores to multiple commercial driver's licenses applicant who failed

(01:00:27):
or did not take the skills test. August seventh, the
former trooper sixty four was sentenced to one month in
prison to be followed by one year supervised release, with
the first two months on home confinement. So he gets
house arrested one month in the poke and a year
on house arrest. Yeah, when they find out that he's

(01:00:48):
the state patrol in jail, he's gonna need to either
be in the shoe or he's going in special housing unit,
or he's gonna need to be in solitary just to
save his own skin. And sixty four, he's three years
older than me. Yeah. The government recommended a sentence of

(01:01:10):
one year in prison and fine of fifty five hundred dollars.
Mendez pled guilty in July of this year to the
count of conspiracy to falsified records, three counts of falsified records,
and two counts of making false statements. Officials say that
between January twenty nineteen and April of twenty twenty two,
so he was doing that for three years. Mendes conspired

(01:01:34):
with the others divide passing scores for at least seventeen
CDL applicants, regardless of whether they even took the skills test.
So they can't even drive a car and they're in
a rig. Yeah, okay, be careful of what you pass
on the highway people. Let's go on to the next one.

Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
So I have.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Only six more ago after this one. First, Wallah Travel
Center opens in North Carolina this month with a free
truck parking and a cat scale. So how about if
I just glance over that Wila is just like a
gas station convenience store and they're gonna have truck parking.
I wonder if it's gonna be pay to park, if

(01:02:18):
you're gonna have to pay in order to park there.
The Carolina is really bad about that, only have like
five or six free parking and the other fifty is
you know, pay to park. And then the local guys
take it all up. Dump truck, log haulers whatever take
up all the parking spots because they don't want to

(01:02:40):
go all the way back to their yard to drop
off the truck. So what they do is they'll park
the rig and then when the rig is gone, they'll
put their car in the place and they you can
rent it out by the week, the every two weeks
a month, what have you. So, Yeah, that's great and everything,

(01:03:01):
but no, so felony charges in this story is for
a man who hit a truck driver in the face
for refusing to give him a ride. Hit the guy
in the face, popped him in the face because he
wouldn't give him a ride. Well, if you're freaking nasty.

(01:03:22):
I'm not gonna give you a ride either. Sorry, like
the other dude. A man is facing felony charges after
allegedly hitting a trucker in the face for refusing to
give him a ride. This happened in Missouri. Heartshorn, Missouri.

(01:03:43):
According to the local news, hopped on to the side
of a semi truck along Route K to ask the
truck driver for a ride to Heartsborn. The truck driver declined,
so wet Night. The guy who jumped on the side
the truck responded by hitting the driver in the face.
Why did the guy have the window open? Yeah, you're

(01:04:04):
lucky you didn't meet. He didn't meet with a damn
pistol in the face. Soake Night then fired a pepper
ball gun at the driver and fled. The truck driver
then contacted the local authorities. As police responded to the scene,
several more calls came in reporting the man walking along

(01:04:26):
the highway and lying in the road. The man was
reportedly trying to hit passing vehicles, and one witness reported
him attacking the truck driver for refusing to give him
a ride. The deputy responded to the scene reported Wake
Knight appeared intoxicated and placed him under a rest. Thank goodness,
at least they caught the dingling, I know, really a dipshit.

(01:04:52):
And here we are back in Nebraska again. One day
commercial vehicle inspection operation in Nebraska nets two one hundred
and twelve violations, and nineteen of those violations were out
of service orders. Nebraska State Patrol released results from a
recent commercial vehicle inspection detail that focused on trucks that

(01:05:13):
may not pass or way stations as a part of
their regular routes. Oh so now they're going on after
them on the side roads. Let's see. This inspection operation
was held in Nebraska August sixth. The Buffalo County conducted
forty one commercial vehicle inspections and uncovered two hundred and
twelve violations of federal motor carrier safety regulations and state law. Additionally,

(01:05:38):
troops issued nineteen out of service orders. Seventeen commercial vehicles
were placed out of service for various safety violations, and
two drivers were also taken out of service as a
part of the operation. A total of twenty eight citations
were issued during the single day inspection operation. So they're
cracking down people, they really are, and Like I said,

(01:06:00):
I'm trying to buzz through these articles for you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
This guy he sentenced to prison for using a cloned
truck of lows to smuggle in seventeen people. OI and
the next story you all are gonna like too. Man
is senence to prison for using a clone truck to
smuggle seventeen people. This a Mississippi resident and this happened

(01:06:28):
July twenty fourth. Was sentenced to ten years in a
Texas prison in charges of smuggling persons with likely hood
of series bottle, angeley or death. Patterson's arrested is excuse me,
let me slow down. Patterson was arrested as a result
of a traffic stop that took place on August thirtieth
of twenty twenty four last year. On US two seventy

(01:06:50):
seven outside of del Rio, Texas, the Texas trooper pulled
over what happened to be a Loew's Home Improvement store
delivery truck. The trooper no discrepancies with the driver's travel
itinerary and noticed the driver demonstrating strange behavior. He was
getting a little nervous and stuff. Then they when you
do that, then you're gonna turn around and conduct a

(01:07:12):
search of the vehicle, police discovered seventeen people crammed inside
a three foot wide false copartment area with no air ventilation.
After several of the people were treated for dehydration, all
were handed over to the border patrol and your asses
are going right back to Mexico. So he got busted

(01:07:33):
and he's sentenced. Now, this is the story I was
talking about that y'all may find interesting. Does anybody know
anything about platooning semi trucks? Maybe people in the military
ex military that are watching this vlog this podcast may comment.

(01:07:59):
Please leave a comment below about what is platooning semi trucks?

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
I looked it up a little bit and what it
was saying in this article is that let me see
if I can find it real quickly. Thank you for
your patients's Okay, So here here it is the trucks

(01:08:34):
participating in the I seventy. This is going on in Ohio.
They're back and forth across I seventy truck platooning project
our equip but platooning technology electronically links the two vehicles
and allows the driver of the lead vehicle to control
the speed and direction of the second vehicle, enabling it

(01:08:55):
to precisely follow the path of the leader. What does
this prove besides a convoy I mean maybe tailgating? What
I don't so what so you got two trucks there,

(01:09:18):
a couple of truck lengths apart. We see that on
the interstate all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
So what.

Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
They're all happy about? How they did two seven hundred
miles a part of this I seventy project and did
all sorts of deliveries and stuff with this polatooning. I
don't know anything about it. I will admit that I
don't know anything about it. Enabling to precisely follow the path,

(01:09:52):
the follower truck can automatically steer, accelerate, and break as
it travels behind the lead truck. Both the leader and
follower trucks have professional drivers in the seat who could
take over controls if if it's needed. We're committed to
driving innovation and logistics with safety at the core. Our

(01:10:12):
work on the I seventy project is clear example of
that commitment. I don't get it, so I'd have to
research this further. If you want me to do a
video on what platooning semi trucks are, leave a comment
yay or nay. One if you would like me to
do a video of it. Two if not. If you're

(01:10:35):
ex military or a veteran or active military and you
know what platooning is, please feel free to leave a
comment below. You could also email me at Julia's truck
at cafe at gmail dot com. I would like to
know more about this, what this platooning actually does, and

(01:10:56):
how that's gonna benefit anybody and the trucket industry. I
can understand a convoy of military vehicles, but in the
semi truck world trucket industry, I don't. I don't get that.
And extensive let's go on to the next article. Extensive

(01:11:18):
cleanup for a semi truck calling Tesla batteries on I
eighty along the Canadian border. Yeah, he took a dump.
California Highway Patrol warned drivers to use patients as crews
cleared a load of Tesla batteries from an overturned semi truck.
The accident happened August eleventh, last week, on Interstate eighty

(01:11:42):
west of Reno, Nevada Highway Patrol report, California highwayt I
can't talk with a lot of articles. California Highway Patrol
reports that the semi truck was hauling Tesla batteries what
had overturned. Course, Noorda was injured, thank goodness, but the
nature of the cargo requires careful cleanup, which caused extensive

(01:12:05):
delays for drivers traveling through the area. And he said,
cleanup is going to take a while. Tesla batteries aren't
something you just sweep up and call it a day.
Expect delays. Yeah, they're all out of lithium and everything,
and they're heavy as hell, So yeah, it's gonna forklifts
and everything to clean up that mess. And two men

(01:12:32):
carjack a semi truck during a televised police chase in
Los Angeles. Two men carjack multiple vehicles during a televised
police chase across LA that started on the tenth August tenth,
last week Sunday and ended with the two men escaping.
The incident started on Sunday night in LA. According to

(01:12:56):
the local news, two suspects started to pursuit in a
stolen pickup truck before getting a flat tire on the freeway.
Then they approached the car to steal it, but the
motorists locked their doors before the men could get inside.
Smart person the two men then approached a bobtail semi truck,
but the driver threw it in reverse on the highway
and avoided the suspects. The two men eventually rammed straight

(01:13:19):
into the front of a white semi truck calling a
tanker filled with milk and carjacked the driver. Take you
the semi truck along the Eye five near Slimar. Just
after eleven thirty that night, two men abandoned the semi
in downtown LA and stole a white another white pickup truck.
Two men in the pickup truck then led police on
a televised police chase through parts of Santa Clara, North Hollywood,

(01:13:43):
Hollywood Hollywood Hills, Echo Park, Downtown LA, Westlake, and Boyle Heights.
Just today I'm a few footage of the police chase
shows the motorists who's locked their car just in time,
bobtail driver throwing it reverse, and the milk tuk tan
driver jumping out of his rig and chock as the
two men climb inside and drive away idiot. Two suspects

(01:14:08):
eventually abandoned the semi and successfully evaded police. Captured, It's
unclear if the two men were picked up by someone
they knew or stealthily stole another vehicle and drove away.
The men have still not been found. I'm sure there
is an apb out on them. I greatly appreciate all

(01:14:32):
of you taking the time this evening to watch this

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
