Speaker 2 (00:29):
Wha our friend we have in Gesus, oh sins and
greed he bear, Oh what need list pains we carry? Father,
(00:50):
in the name of Jesus, we thank you today. We
thank you for salvation. We thank you for salvation. Go
with me into the word of the Lord. The topic
of the mephsis is gonna be. God is your refuge.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Jesus is your refuge.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Open Psalms twenty nine. It says that the Lord will
strengthen his people. The Lord will strengthen his people. If
you remember reading a New Testament, it says that the
Holy Ghost is a competor the Holy Ghost is a comforter.
(01:46):
When God is your refuge and the Holy Ghost is
your comforter. When the devil comes and torment your mind
about circumstances situations that other people's circumstances and situations, And
as I told you before, don't let somebody else's stress
(02:08):
be your stress.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
When people.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Are struggling with forgiveness, that seems to be the hardest
battle they have.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Well, we're angry with someone or something.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
That is nagning us, agitating us. It is very hard
to find room for forgiveness. It's even very hard to
find room for understanding. It seems to be no logic
in the situation.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
So we come to one conclusion for a period of time,
Ancher and how we can destroy the situation or the circumstances.
Instead of recognizing that the Holly Goos is a comforter
and that God is your.
Speaker 7 (03:12):
Refugee, certain situations you cannot just sit down and be
in peace with it. Certain situations we wear ourselves out mentally.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
Trying to resolve on, trying to correct it. Instead of
being able to sit back.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
And say that Lord, I know you're gonna take good,
we find ourselves mentally wrestling with it, mentally trying to
st correct it.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
The Lord is your refuge and the Holy Ghost is
a comforter m. But when we have the spirit of God, no.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Matter what the situation is if we could find a
second or moment just to say thank Jesus, Thank Jesus,
in order for a comforter to bring the peace in
the situation, in order for the comforter to remove the
(04:21):
costs that you're about to carry, that it's not your cost,
that the load you're about to get under is not
your load.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
You know a loo shatn not tell it you a shot.
I want you to look at Samuel chapter twenty two.
After David was delivered.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Now you see all the struggles that he went through
mentally and physically, all the struggles that he put itself through.
He came to the conclusion that the Lord is my rock,
my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock
(05:02):
in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horns
of my salvation. Here is my stronghold, my refuge, my
salvation from violent people.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
You save me.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
The first thing that they ever bring into our mind
when something goes wrong is violence. That is the first
thing that hit your our mind, because we're trained like
animals to attack what comes against us. But when you
(05:42):
are saved and you believe God, that animalistic attitude has
to be taken away. It has to be removed. Because
our Bible says, pray for those that's mistreat you. Despitefully
misuse you, say wrong things to you, torment you, try
(06:05):
to antagonize you. The Bible says pray for, But instead
we would rather fight. We forget the basics of the scriptures.
When you take it in your hands, it gets worse.
Society has to get involved. When you put it in
(06:28):
God's hands, it don't look like it's getting no better.
Sometimes it don't even look like it's changing. But you
still got to stand steal and see the salvation of
the Lord, which means stanton still and watch God deliver you.
(06:49):
Through the circumstances, David went from one end to the other,
from one place to another, from one battle to another,
because Saul was determined that he would not take his anointing.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Nor would he be king. But wait a minute. The
catcher to all of this.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
While they were caring all when God gave salt, Samuel
saw that tormenting spirit. Samuel David had to go play
the heart for him to get peace. But yet sau
was so antagonized by the anointing that God had took
from him and gave to David that saw had no peace.
(07:34):
You know, no no shata. He got down a lumbo size.
You can get so tormented and aggravated sometime until you
came even sleep. You lay down in the bed, and
that that person comes back on your mind. But one
more thing you got to recognize here the Bible said,
(07:54):
we wrestle out against flesh and blood, but against demons
and devil's press a power teas of all kinds of nature.
You are not fighting a person. You are fighting that
devil himself. He's using anything and everything he can, just
like he did on David. David was God's anon it.
(08:17):
He was God's anon it, and the devil took Saul
to be his enemy. See, the devil knows what we
don't like. He knows what it takes to irritate us.
How does he know because he keep trying different things.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Until he do it.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
See, one thing will bother you, something else won't, So
he go get something else and try it. That's why
your Bible and admirer says, be aware of all of
his devices. Jesus said in the Book of Matthew that
he has given us power and authority over all demons,
(09:00):
and devils. Once you received the Holy ghosts, you have
the power to command the devil to stop in his tracks.
He's shine out an over second, you have the authority
to put that devil in his place. You have the
authority to run the devil off instead of you. The
(09:21):
devil tore me in you, you tore me with him.
How do you do that? Yah way?
Speaker 5 (09:26):
In no shot to hide. The devil knows there's power
in the name of Jesus. The devil knows who he
is subject to.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
And when you allow Jesus to step in and you
allow Yahweh to take authority over the devil and over
the situation and the circumstances, the Holy ghost will give
you peace in your spirit and let you know it
will be well. And I'm shin out it will be
(09:57):
well with you and the situations one enough for sake
of glory be to God. You've got to believe you've
got the trust. Let me tell you it can get
this way overnight. It took years. It took time to get.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
This way from the time.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
That God started messing with me at the age of sixteen.
And I'm still not perfect. I still have shortcomings as
well as anybody else, but for my faith to grow,
and from my faith to mount up. It took time.
Jesus has been working on me since I was sixteen
(10:39):
years old and I'm sixty nine now.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
And let me tell you, I'm not telling you something.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
I'm telling you from experience, and you have to take
Jesus at his word. Think about it. It says, why
are you worrying? It only brings about gray hair. There
is nothing too.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Hard for God.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
God is your refuge and the Holy Spirit is your comforter.
He will comfort you in any circumstances. He is gonna
bring you to a place where you used to get upset.
You don't get upset no more. He'll bring you to
a place of assurance in your spirit that God has
(11:25):
taking care of the situation. You need that assurance. How
do you get that assurance? By believing God, by believing
and reading your Bible. They taught me to read scriptures
of faith, scriptures of victory in order to understand and
to be able to believe and be able to receive
(11:47):
victory in certain situations.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
In certain standards.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
A lot of people say they woke up in their
sleep and something's choking or pulling on them. Yes, I
have experienced it. But the first thing I said it
was Jesus, say that the Lord repeat you, the blood
of Jesus is against you. And when I spoke that
in as I woke up away it went whatever it
was eco.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
Blahlah blah blah. Shot.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Now, you've got to believe that when you speak the
name of Jesus, when you speak the name of Yahweh,
that everything is commanding to be corrected. Everything is turned
upside down and it's straightened out, and peace is brought
about in your spirit along with your Holy Spirit, gives
you peace and comfort no matter what it is where
(12:34):
you at today, if you were in the hospital, the
Holy Ghost is there with you. He'll bring a peace
and your spirit and assurance in your spirited, in your
heart and in your mind.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
You go on no normal shot down.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Go to every yd shot dah see. He'll let you know.
I'm gonna work it out for my good. Every hospital bed,
every person in the hospital listening to me, know that
God is right there. He's with you, and he's ready
and waiting to bring you through. All you've got to
doers believe and accept His way of deliverance. Stop trying
(13:10):
to show him how to do it, but accept the
way that he's going to do it. He comeing to
an old shot, say Lord, I thank you, just the
same I thank you if you're in a common lesson home.
He ain't got no no old shot. I just start
praising and believe. God didn't know that He is present,
He's I'm not present, He's everywhere present. At the same time,
(13:31):
he knew you were going there before you went. He
knew you were gonna get sick before you got sick.
All of this is to bill your faith. All of
this is for you to believe him. I understand. Don't
blame him for you being sick. We abuse these bodies,
We mistreat these bodies. We don't do what's right for
these bodies. We push ourselves beyond anything. And then when
this body start retaliating, first thing we do is God,
(13:54):
why no, Lord, I messed up?
Speaker 5 (13:57):
This body not helping me through it. Thank you Jesus.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Accept the reality that you made the mistake somewhere through
the years and now.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
It caught up to you.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
But God is able in the circumstances, in the situation
to bring a peace in your spirit. And then he'll
make you hold again. How to tell that your Shah
he coming in the Shah. I know he can do it.
I'm telling you from experience. This is my testimony, and
it works, and I know it'll work for you. Because see,
God has no respect to person. He says, what he's
(14:29):
done for one, he'll do for the other. He'll even
do more for some. You understand. But you have to believe,
and you have to know that God is your refuge.
He no shah nahah one enough for saving you. Ain't
got nowhere else to go. You ain't got nobody else
to lean on. You can't depend on nobody else. But
you can depend on God. You can depend on yah weeh.
(14:52):
You can depend on him. You can delight yourself in
it because he loves you, He cares, He's concerning about you,
and he wants you to know that today that he
has not forgot you, nor has he left you alone.
But he's right there. He said every word President, I'm
not present. At the same time, he has no respective person.
He loves you, He concerned about you. So after David
(15:15):
had gone everywhere and did everything that keeps sol and
to stay away from Saul and to stay out of trouble.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
He came to the conclusion.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
He said that God, uh, wait just a minute in
the distance, in my distress. Rather, I called to the Lord,
and I called out to my God from him from
his temple. He heard my voice and cry came to
his ear. See he hears you, he said, he has
no respective person. God hears you. He hear you like
(15:46):
anybody else.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
He hears you.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Don't let nobody tell you he don't And don't aks nobody.
Do they think he hurt you. Just believe he hurts you. See,
this is a personal thing, and the they'll in needs
comalencing homes and hospitals, in jail.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
This is a personal situation.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
Now you got to be personal with this to the
point that you know that it's you and him, and
you and him. It's got a thing, and that you
and him are communicating.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
I don't care.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
What you've done and where you're being and what you in.
God still hear you. You ain't done nothing that he
gonna stop loving you and stop caring about you. If
he didn't care and he wanted you gone, you be gone.
But he kept you here, giving you time to get
straight with him, giving you time to believe in him.
God is your refuge, and the Holy Ghost, it's your
(16:37):
comfort of He's given you time to come into the
fullness of Him by faith, by believing, because we walk
by faith, not by sight. Speak those things in too
existence as though they were even though they're not wanting
of for savior. And from his temple he heard my voice.
(16:58):
My cry came up to his ear, David said, even
though I was in stuck in the cave, and they
were walking around the cave looking for me. And during
that time God hid done you in David in his pavision.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Forgive me.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
He hid him in his pavilion. And God will hide you,
you know, from those that want to destroy you. But
understand again, it's the spirit of the devil. The devil
will use anything in anybody. You got to understand you're
wrestling with the devil. You're not wrestling with an individual.
How well we can understand that.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
You see.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Here's the thing that ever, don't care how he gets you,
as long as he gets you. He had cousted two
people to mess up their life and both be sitting
in the same jail self. Come on, he get two
for the price of one. You got to recognize when
it's him, and you got to be humble enough to
walk away and say, I'm not going down this road.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
I'm not going this way.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
The devil has fool so many and they're sitting in
the same jail together because the devil deceived them both.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
He didn't care how he messed up they life, but
he messed it up. The devil was a long term tank.
Ain't no shutting the I think God a hotshelf gay
coo SI.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
Call mamamao Shah. I come against every devil in hell,
say that the Lord maybe get the blood of Jesus.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
It's against you.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
You got to understand you have that authority, you have
that power of the Almighty God standing in front of.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
You, in you and with you.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
All you got to do is speak it until his
sixpence come on the earth trembling and and quick the
foundation of heaven shift. They tremble because he was angry.
Smoke rose from his nostrils and consumed. Fire came from
his mouth, burning coals blazing out of it.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
You see God. David is saying, God got that mad
with my enemies.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
When he got mad with my enemies, God did shud
the battle. You see when you got faith and you're
trusting in God. Don't you think he ain't gonna fight
for you. Don't you think he won't step being with
the knockout punch. Come on, hollered, Luijah, wonderful Savior, Glory
be to God. He parted the heaven and came down.
(19:17):
Dark clouds was under his feet. He mounted the chariot
bit and flew, and he sword on the wings of
the wind. He made darkness his foot around him, and
the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the
brightness of his presence. Boats of lightning blazes forth the
Lord thundness from heaven. The voice of the most high resounds.
(19:41):
He shot his arrow and scattered that. He shot his
arrow and scattered the enemies with great boats of lightning.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
He routed them.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Listen to me, when you speak the word that Jesus said,
Saint John eight forty four, saytan the Lord if he'll you,
you repeat that you're speaking as Yah Weah spoke, And
you tell the devil he is a liar and the
(20:13):
father of lies. He was alive from the beginning, and
he's a lie now. He will back up at the
name and at the word of God. When you speak
the word of God. What did Jesus tell him? What
he tempted him? I talked about that last week. Jesus said,
get thee behind me, Satan, and you tell the devil
you speak the same words that Jesus spoke. Because great
(20:36):
is he that is in you than he that is
in the world. He said, if you abiding me and
my word abiding you, he gave you power and authority.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
You have it.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
You must exercise it and use it to his glory
and for your benefit. He gave that authority to you
for you to make the devil behave and run from you,
not you running from him. Tell him to back up.
The Lord Jesus on highest standing with me. A host
of Heaven is on your side, and the devil's got
(21:08):
to go. You've got to stand on the word of God.
You've got to believe. You have to understand that he
is right there and that he's doing what needs to
be done, and that he will do what's best for you,
and he will work it out according to what's best
(21:28):
for you and him and for him to get you
in the kingdom. God has a plan and a pattern
for you, he told him in Jeremiah I knew you
before you were even shaped in your mama's wound. He
knew you, and he know of you and who you
are and where you at and everything else. My God,
(21:49):
Jesus on. Jesus has his own GPS, always has and
always will come on.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
He always knows where to find you. He knows what
it takes to get you closer to him.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
He'll allow the devil to get it then behind you
so you can get to him. He will push the
devil on you so you will stop and pray and
get to him. Recognize God, He's doing all of this
to train you and teach you and to bring you
closer to him. God is still your refuse, So ain't
nowhere else and nothing else you can do in the
Holy Spirit. Is your comforter one, not for savior. Jesus
(22:24):
is your refuge. Thank God, Your way is on your side.
He's right there now, every day, every now, every moment,
every second, He's right there.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
But he's waiting on you.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
How they do it, You ain't waiting on him, Hogan, Lord,
He's waiting to hear from you when you humble yourself
and stop being so haughty.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
And stubbing and being angry and upsetting pro vote.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
God, daughter to see color of us shuts, say that
the Lord may be with you. The blood of Jesus
is against you. The blood of Jesus is against you.
One not for safety. He can't do nothing with Jesus.
He can't stop God. Then God don't want him to
stop you. Come on up a little higher and drug.
He said, if you draw nine to him, he'll draw
(23:07):
nigh to you. Hollylujah, glordry to God. Holler led Louiah.
Wander for Savior, Wander for Savior. Trying to carry a
cross that you can't carry, and trying to carry somebody
else's cross.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
Too, Try to a loose and give it to Jesus.
Let it go and let Jesus fix it all.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Let high Landlujah, Holler, lady, Louy, holler a Louah. God
wants to work it out for you. He's your refuge.
He wants to work it out. He wants to fix
it if you let him. He wants to fix you.
Wonder for Savior, Wonder for Savior, one not for savior.
He wants to make you hold again. Yeah, he wants
(23:49):
to make you hold again.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
Can you allow him to do that? Will you allow
him to do that?
Speaker 4 (23:57):
With his hands stretched out in the heart of love,
he's calling, he's pleading with you.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
He don't wanna lose you. You don't have to die.
You can live again. You don't have to lay down.
You can stand tall.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
You can make it up the side of the mountain.
They shunning none, No, Siah. If you're watching the Olympics
and you see how they're consistently struggling to get the
gold medal, the brass, the silver, but yet that they're
they're putting forth for effort, you put for a a
(24:40):
effort with Jesus.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
Let Jesus in, Let him in. He didn't do it
to you.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
You did it to yourself, being hauty and stepping, being
hurt and upset and provoked and angry.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Let God come in and take all of that out.
We move it all, Let him take it all.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Let him take it out. Father, in the name of Jesus,
I thank you for salvation. I thank you for being
our refuge. I thank you for the Holy Spirit being
our comfort. Now remove all that anger and all the hurt,
and all the past hurt. Heal the wounds of your people,
even other of us. Shut my heart, that they may
(25:23):
stop and recognize that you our only hope, you are
only strength, and that you are ready to bring us
through if we let you, not by power nor by many,
but by my spirit, said the Lord, in the name
(25:45):
of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Go
with God, and my God, my God, will go with you.
I feel the need of someone needed God to be there.
Press upon Jesus, rest upon his shoulder, Give it to him.
(26:12):
David said, He brought me out and to a spacious place.
He rescued me because he delights in me. See, God
cares about you.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
He loves you. He loves you.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness
and according to the cleanness of my hands.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
He has rewarded me winding for Savior.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
You've done all you can do. Now you've done all
you can do. The song say, let es sa i
Sus fix it for you. He knows just what to do.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
Whenever you pray, how do you let him have it?
This way?
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Let him bless you, Let him bless your spirit. He
let her at the boat shot. Now ain't let her
road shot. He wants to remove all the pain. He
wants to take all.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
The pain away in your mind and your heart and
in your spirit. Years of pain, years of grief, years
of hurt. Let him wash it away. Let him wash
it away and make your slave clean.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, you're holding grudges about things that happen and things
that took place in your life.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
Don't blame nobody else for the decisions you made in life.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Whatever decision you made in life, live with if you
made those decisions.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
But God wants to correct what went wrong.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
You go around for years remembering what someone did to you,
how someone mistreated you.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
But Jesus wanna heal that for you today. No, no, no, no, suck.
Let him do it. Let him heal me. Let him
deliver you from it.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
You've had it long enow it has done nothing but
drove you from pillar to posts. It has cast you
not the rise in areas that you knew you could,
because you keep remembering the suffering that you went through.
But God's going to deliver you from it. Now.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
You'll deliver it, not by power nor by miney, but
by His spirit. God bless you.
