Speaker 1 (00:01):
The station that you'd notice her behind.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
You're listening to just the Word of God with Reverend
Sylvester on case AA. Here is Reverend Sylvester.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
God bless you this morning. It's a blessing to come
before you once again. I want you to go with
me to Romans chapter five. Romans chapter five. Father, in
the name of Jesus, we thank you today. We thank
you for your spirit. We thank you for your presence.
We thank you for your word. For your word is
true as shoppers an. If you explore now, know it
(00:40):
as to be your word.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Go.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
I'll be pray to every now turn under you, boy,
but it shall accomplish that for which is said in
Jesus' name.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
We thank you Lord, Amen, Romans chapter five and verse six.
Romans Chapter five and verse Since you see, at just
the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died
for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a
(01:13):
righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Dare to die.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
But God demonstrated his own love for us in this
while we were still sentenced. Christ die for us. Christ
died for us. The topic of the message today is
going to be. God would not leave you like he
bound you. God would not leave you like he bound you.
(01:43):
I want you to go to Saint John chapter fifteen
and verse sixteen. And ye have not chosen me, but
I have chosen you and ordain you that you should
go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit shall be.
And that whosoever acts, whosoever ye act, shall and whatsoever
(02:06):
ye shall ask of the Father in My name, he
may give it to you. He may give it to you.
Go back with me the Romans chapter five. And I
want you to look at the beginning of the chapter.
(02:29):
We triumph through faith. We can do anything by faith,
through faith, through believing God not The first verse in
chapter five says, therefore, since we have been justified through faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained ancest by faith into disgrace
(02:51):
in which we now stand. We boast in the hope
of the glory of God. Not only so, but but
we also glory in our suffer, because we know that
the suffer produces pre service.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
God will not leave you like he found you.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Verse six said that when we were sinners as you know,
before the law came, there was all kinds of sin
going on. Sin was not identified, nor was it spoken
of as a sin.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Because Christ had not come.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
People were doing just what they're doing today in many
ways and many attributes. Things were going on that we
see every day and that we feel are not acceptable
to Christ's or to walk before Christ.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
In that manner, we spend more time with.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Opinions of those that are not living up to the
standards that we feel they should live up too. But
you have to understand, He said, judge, not that you
be judged. Whatsoever measure you judge, shall be judged.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Also.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Now God chose you and told us that over in
the book of our Saint John finteen and sixteen, it
said God chose us, He chose you.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
You didn't choose him, He chose you.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Now you have to understand if God chose you to
live for him before he chooses someone else to live
for him, you have to understand that God knows what
he's doing. He blessed those he will, he cursed those
that he will. You look at Cain and abel. Abel's
gift was acceptable to God. King's gift was not, but
(04:36):
Cain got jealous and he killed his brother and.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
God cursed him. You see.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
So I want you to realize that when you are
drawing to Christ, it's not making you so much better
than someone else.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
It doesn't make you.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Someone bigger than the person that is, not that you
don't consider to be a Christian.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Uh, you have to understand that.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
God does things in his own time and his own
will and his own way, and whatever the way he
chooses to draw that person, he would do it in
due time. Our goal is to plant to see, let
him know that Jesus save and that Jesus loves them,
and that Jesus cared, and that he's concerned. But the
(05:23):
goodness of God that's been following us all of our lives,
the goodness and the grace of God, is what wretch
and got you and got me, And that's given us
a desire to live for him, to wanna be closer
to him, to wanna be more like him. Now until
someone else comes into the full knowledge of that, I
(05:44):
don't think that we should be critical. I think that
sometime UH would love, would love. Has he drawn us
with love and kindness, love and understanding? Did he get us?
You see what I'm saying, he didn't puts you in
advice and choke you and break your neck and beat
you down to cause you to want to come with him.
(06:06):
But he wrenched out his arm of love and he
draws you to him. He put the mind in you
to live for him. He put the desire in you
because he said.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
I chose you. You didn't choose me, Thank God.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
And he doesn't leave us in the same shape that
we were in when He chose us. You see, it's
one thing about God. He changes our thoughts, he changes
our attributes, he changes our ways, He changes our life completely.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
He changes us.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
We see things different, we look at things different, we
walk different, we talk different.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
But it's a process. It's a process.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
So while we are going through the process, we shouldn't
criticize anyone else because we don't know the process that
God has taking them through.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
To bring them to him.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Because you remember now, he said all souls of mind,
so that means God excludes no one. Okay, God excludes
no one. People speaks on the thing of God, racism
and Jesus distinguishing well. He did say that the Jews
was His chosen people. Some people that have taken that
to be offense that God loved them more than he
(07:26):
loved us. But you have to understand the gentiles. If
you go in the Book of Romans a little back,
a little further in the chapters, you'll find we will
grap it in to the spirit you understand now. I
want you to understand one thing that you cannot continue
rebuffing the will of God. We have to continue to
(07:49):
be willing, he said. At first, there be a willing mind.
A willing mind. You've got to have a willing mind
to want to live for him, to want to get
to know him, before you can do anything. I often
say it's like a husband and a wife. They still
get to know each other, they get to continue. We
(08:10):
continue knowing each other throughout the years. There's things you
may not know about your wife or your husband, like
me or anybody else. And you've been mad thirty some
years and you still learning, thank your chiefs or some
you'll still learning. You may be able to predict some
things about him, but you don't know everything.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
God horble, he look your clothing be to God. Bles's
the name of the Lord. So the process. See, that's
why God don't leave you like he found it.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
He has never chose nobody that he didn't pull out
of a rut.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
But I think did not.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Just read it over in the Book of John, he said,
you can asks anything and he'll do it. Asks in
his will and he'll do it. This is a trick
to it. A lot people are asking in their will
to keep up with the joneses, as I said last week.
But you gotta asks in the will of God. You realize,
(09:10):
he said, also over there in the book of Matthew,
he knows what you need, he knows what you desire. Now,
the whole thing about it is are you willing to
let him supply those needs and those desires and not.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
The wants that you want? Not the lust of the flush.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
See, our big problem is the lust of the flush.
The lust of the eyes causes us to miss out
on what God want to give us and on what
God wants to do for us. See, so we have
to come to a place. This s that's he did
on the cross Father, not my will. But I will
(09:49):
be done not by way, he said, I would that
this cut would practista makes Jesus. I would I that
I didn't have to die on this cross, that I
didn't have to come down here for humanity and and
give up my life.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
But this is what you wanted, So God, I'm going
with it.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
This is your will, not mine, It's your way, and
I surrender all.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
What Jesus did was surrendered on the cross.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
He surrendered his will, his way, his thoughts. He surrendered
everything to his father. And this is what God expects
us to do. I never said it was gonna be
easy to surrender. But one show thing about it. See
here's the thing. It's like you got arrested, and when
they arrest you, they put you in handcuffs so you
(10:31):
can't get away.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
You see now, what Jesus chose you.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
He did not put you in handcuffs, but in a
spiritual place that you could find him, and that you
could find the delight of his spirit, and that by
you accepting.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
The love and the delight of.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
His spirit caused you to want more of him and
to draw closer to him. But you have to understand
you not dealing with a condition of God. You know
you can't say, well, Lord, if you do this, and
I'll do that.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
No, so you can't.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
You've got to say, Lord, not my will, but God
will be done. You got to understand. After you arrested
and you go before the judge, the judge reads the
charges to you, and then the judge pronounce it's a
sentence or fine upon you that you have to do
what you were told. Now, God took his word and
said that whatsoever you aks in my name, if it's
(11:27):
in my will, it shall be done.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
But if you beaten and.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Fasting and knocking, and you praying for something out of
the will of God, it's gonna be years.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
It may not even happen.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
And this is where we gotta come to the place
to understand that we have to get in the will
of God. It was God's will that I'm sitting here
today talking to you, or I wouldn't be sitting here.
Only God gave me the desire to wanna come and
share the words with you. Only God gave me the
thought to even do it. You see what I'm saying.
(11:59):
It's not something that I would have just made up
in my own.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Mind to do. But God gave me the joy of
his word.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
He gave me the spirit of sharing his word, and
he gave me the desire.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
To wanna live by his word.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Oh, it hasn't been up it's been up sint downs,
it's been bumps and knots. But it's not the way
you fall, it's how you get up. I still get
up thinking and i still get up believe it, even
though I'm a mess like everybody else said, I I'm not.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Perfect, but you understand what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
The cor the will of God is the worthiest battle
that a Christian have is falling in line and continue
to stay in line with the will of God.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Because we we we we we're in a sinful world.
This we know, okay, And we know the devil is
the prince of the air and that he helples over us.
But it's one thing about it. See, when God choose
you to live for him, He's made a way. He's
opened up a way that the devil cannot hinder your prayer.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
The devil cannot stop you.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Because my Bible says, if we resist him, he'll flee
if we resist him.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
But if we.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Welcome him and his mess and all of his thoughts
and everything that he bring, then we are not in
the will of God.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
He said.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
If we're friends of the world, we enemies of God.
You understand that, because the world belongs to the Devil.
He's the prince of the world, so that means he rude.
It's just like buying his president over the United States.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
So the Devil is the prince of the air, which
means he's over the whole world.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
I don't care where it's at, I don't care what
you're thank He's the prince of the air, so he sees.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Everything that you're doing.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
He's after to stop you from doing anything but sitting
down waiting to join him, because the Devil wants you,
and hell is suffering with him when he's down there, locked.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
In the pit. He want as many as many.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Fol miserable he's going to be, because he knows how
miserable he is and how miserable he's going to be. Now,
misery likes company, But why would you keep a miserable
person company? Why would you even waste your time with
someone that's miserable? To amnut day and night where the
(14:20):
worms never sleep. You'll never sleep. You'll be hollering and
hooping and crying consistently. My god, it'll be like the
rich man Old Glory. He wanted to send a message
to his brothers. He asks, Abraham, could you do it?
Tell them don't come here. Glory be to God, And
(14:42):
I stopped by to tell you that they You don't
have to go to hell. You don't have to die
in your sins. All you got to do is trust
God and believe. If you share, receive. All you've got
to do is hold on. If it ain't nothing but
a thread that you holding on too, and you feel
like you just ain't gonna make it, hold one, blah
blah blah blah, shin now hold on helps. The only
(15:05):
way help is already there. Speak the word of God
into your situation. Speak the word of God into everything
that you're going to do, and watch God work it
out for your loud the will of God that happened,
Let his will be done in your life. Remember what
he did on the cross ut Glovery be to God.
He gave it up, He gave up his will, Give
(15:26):
up your will. See what did Paul say? I need
to decrease so that you can increase. And I'm seeking
God to increase in me and decrease my fleshall one
enough for save it because the flush rules you, me
and everybody else. And we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but demons and Devil's principalities of all kinds of nature.
(15:48):
You come in this world with two natures out of
your hip. E give I'm all shining, the good and
the bad, two different spirits. And God wants to all
the good spirit to live with you and suppress the
bad spirit.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
That it's gone.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
You know, no wre shot. Now the Bible says, the
devil is never gone. He's under the blood. And then
what the Bible says, except so you got to realize
he's under the blood so that he cannot destroy you.
That God has an angel standing God over your soul
to keep you closer to Him, and that cause you
to come into His will and is understanding. So we
(16:22):
need to get into the will of God. God won't
leave you like he found here. Oh bless his name.
I don't care what it is and what you think
it is. He will renew your mind, he will.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Refresh your spirit. He'll sind a rein in your soul.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Here, my God, he'll touch you with an anointing that
you've never been touched before. Stop looking at suits. He's
sally and this one and that one. But look to
the hills from when's coming Thine help for your help
coming from the Lord that made the heavens and the earth,
and he's there willing and ready to help you through
whatever you're going through and whatever you dealing with. To
(17:00):
know that Christ is on your side. He took time
and shed his blood on the cross. He took time
and they spent in his faith some one enough for saving.
He did it all just for you and me. Thank
you Jesus. He won't leave you like.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
You found him.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Stop trying to get other folks advice and other folks
thought on your Christianity, and go to Jesus and let
God deal with you in his way. Stop expecting him
to deal with you the way he dealt with someone else.
Because we are all different and God deals with us
in different shape, forms, and fashions.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
So I want you to stop seeking for.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Someone to tell you how saved you are, because God
will show you how saved you are. He will show
you what is in you and what He's doing for you.
But you've got to trust him and him only. Remember
your Bible says for no confidence in man, nor trust
in a guid trust only in Him. He won't leave
(18:02):
you like he found you. Go no confidence in man.
Listen to what I said, No trust in and die,
but trust only and the Lord Jesus Christ something wonderful savit.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
And that seems to be the problem.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
We're following people and we're looking for them to give
us recognition and to tell us how saved we are.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
But you need to go to Jesus for that. You
need to let Jesus work through you. He won't leave
you like he found you.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Let him work in your mind, let him work in
your spirit. I want every one of you that here
is my boy. Come to the place. They say, Lord,
not my will, but thy will be done. Not my way,
but joy Lord, however you do it, help me to
(18:55):
be satisfied. You see, Jesus was satisfied on the cross
when he gave up his will. He became satisfied with
his father because he said, Father, Father, I commit my
life into your hands.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
I commit my will into your hands.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I removed my desires, and your desire manifests through me,
and his desires manifested through his son on the cross.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
And God wanna manifest itself through you. Can you say glory?
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Can you say glory, old glory, holled Loujah. Since Jesus
came into my heart, says Jesus.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
Washed my mind, He washed your spirit. He'll make your
new again.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
The Bible says that old things have passed away, and
all things become new. Can you say glory, Say glory,
holled Loujah, Thank you, Jesus. Let the will of God
be done. Let the will of God be done. Let
the will of God be done.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Now.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
He knows just what you need. He knows what you
in need of them. He knows what you ask before
you ask him. Hollylujah, glover, it be to God. He's
not going to forset you. He's not gonna throw you away.
Stop looking for others to recognize you and build you up.
(20:26):
Let Christ do all of that for you. He wants
to be your everything, not some things, but everything. He
wants you to take your burdens to the cross and
leave them there. Cast your cares on him. Yeah, Lord,
for he cares for you. Tell Jesus everything, and Jesus
(20:47):
will work it out. He's working out. He'll work it out.
He'll fix it for you. He'll fix you. He's working
on every one of us. But it's up to us
to surrender to him, to give it all to him,
to let him do it. The song said, let Jesus,
(21:07):
let my God, let Jesus do it for you, holling Loujah.
He's the best example that we have when he gave
up his will on the cross, when he gave it
all up, that was the best example we could have.
That scripture means so much where he said, Father, not
(21:28):
my will, but Thy will be done. He wanted to
get off of their guys. So many times we've said, Lord,
I can't walk this road.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
But he said, he teach you.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
David said, Lord, teach me the path of righteousness.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
You got to understand that this is new to me
as well as you.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
We have never been down the path of righteousness. We
don't know what holiness is some but God can teach
us something. God can show us another person can't because
that person hasn't been down that road either. So Hi,
I'm gonna teach you something that I ain't been down
the road on myself. But it's step by step, day
(22:13):
by day, the leading and guidance of the Lord. Put
no confidence in man, nor trust in a guide, but
trust in God. Somebody is leaning too much on someone
else's opinion. Someone is leaning too much on someone else's thoughts,
but you're not about your father's been there.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
I've got a question for you. I got a question
for you.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
How many people this week that you shared the Word
of God with?
Speaker 4 (22:44):
How many people this week that you testify too?
Speaker 3 (22:49):
You see, Jesus said, we will overcome by the word
of our testimony. And you know, we see people all
the time, and all we say is hello, goodbye, how
you goodbye? And we start talking about godage and mess
that don't mean nothing. We weise breasts more breath on
godbage and gossip and mess. Then we do on the
(23:11):
word of God. Then we do on sharing the Word
of God. Mind gloaty be to God. But I guess
you can't share it if he ain't reading it him.
I guess you can't tell nobody if he ain't studying him.
Get into your Bible every day and read you something
in there to feed your soul in your mind, mind God,
(23:33):
Glory be to God. So you've got to get to
the place something that when you open your mouth up
the word, it just bubbles out of your mouth, It
bubbles up in your heart, it bubbles up in your spirit.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Thank you Jesus.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
When you would just say something else you find the
word of God coming out.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Of your mouth. There's such a struggle and dealing with
people and leading people.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
But you got to under stand one thing he said
for us, to tell him that he sits high and
he looks low, and that he.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Lives within your heart. He lives within your mind.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Don't go by somebody else's personal experience, but go by
your personal experience with Jesus. Some wonder for save. Somebody
asks me, well, how do you know? Well, because the
personal relationship that I have with him, the miracles he
has performed with me and in me and around me.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
So I know, I know.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
I know that he still lives, and I know that
Christ it sits high, and I.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Know that God is on the throne.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
And I know that He is my father, He is
my friend, He is my mother, my brother, and my sister.
So when you know that, you know that you know him,
then you shouldn't have no trouble planting the seed in
somebody else's ears.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Now I'm no trouble.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
I'm telling somebody else how good God he is. You've
seen it for yourself, you've experienced his blessings.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
Shared those blessings.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
With someone else. If it ain't no more than Jesus saved.
Then Jesus made away. Then Jesus touched my mind. Jesus
touched my spirit. Stop sharing natural and share the spiritual.
People need more spiritual deliverance. They need people to give
him more spiritual understanding of how to experience the spirit
(25:33):
of God, how to enjoy the spirit of God, how
to delight in the spirit of God, to have the
peace of God that.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Surpasses all understanding.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
The Stop looking at circumstances and situations and know that
God knows everything that is going on. There is nothing
taking place in your life because.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
He chose you.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
You didn't choose him that he don't already know is
taking place.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
He already sees what's going on.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
But you've got to get to a place in his
will in order for him to work it out with you.
And until your will get into his will and his
ways get into your ways and your will them, then
you are already being buffed about them.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
You're always going up and.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Down them because you're resisting the will of God.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
He won't leave you.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Like he found you eat comah blah blahaha. He won't
leave you when he chose you. He knew what he
was doing. You see, God don't make no mistakes. Don't
letting nobody fool you. God ain't made no error. There's
no such thing in a God that makes errors. God
is a perfect God. Eat God, no the hobie I shot.
(26:47):
Wonder for Savi them, Wonder for Savim, Wonder for Savior.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
Stop following conspiracy theory. So much conspiracy theory is going on.
Stay with the truth, hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Stay with the truth of the Word, and let the
truth of the Word walk.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
In you and live in you. Not my will, but
thy will be done, not my way, Oh Glory, Surrender, Surrender,
Surrender all to THEE.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
I surrender, Oh bless it be in my Savior, y'all.
I give up my thoughts, I give up my will,
my way. I give up the love of the flush,
the love of sin, the desires of the flush, that
the will of the Spirit may live in me. The
body who says, he that wishes the God must come
to him in truth and in spirit. We've got to
(27:38):
worship him in the spirit of holiness, in the spirit
of kindness, in the spirit of gentleness. We've got there,
asking him for the more of his spirit and reign
in us. We don't need a big bank account, we
don't need no more new cars and all of this chuck.
Come you in the throwing stuff away. But you need
the more of the spirit of the Living God. If
(28:01):
Jesus had not had his spirit in him, and he'd
had got out off the cross, and he'd have walked away,
but he had the spirit of God in him. And
we need, yeah, we need the more of the spirit
of the Living God. Seek the spirit of God, not
(28:21):
the lust of the fleosh, not the lust of the eyes.
But seek the spirit of the Living God. Ax him
for the more of his spirit in your spirit. Asks
him to baptize you in his spirit, not in somebody else's,
but in his spirit one more time.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Now, don't want you to forget him. Put no confidence
in man, nor trust in the God.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
You've been listening to Just the Word of God on

Speaker 6 (29:20):
The attitude that well, the little guy cannot win seems
to prevail despite the fact that over time we've seen
that the little guy, if he is persistent, he becomes
the big guy.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Empire talks back.
Speaker 6 (29:35):
No, it's because maybe people figure out little knowledge is
like smoke.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
It leads to the fire.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Empire talks back.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
I think this drive for equality, this drive for justice
D is gathering steam as opposed to fading out. I
think more and more people realize the importance of the
freedoms that America represents.
