We thank you for another opportunity just to thank you,
just to praise you, just to give you the glory.
We thank you that you saw fit to spare us

but you saw fit because you said you have a

That you bless us through your word, and that it

and the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit and Jesus' name.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Amen, go with me to Job chapter two. Job Chapter two.
The topic of the message is trust the Lord.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Trust in God with all that heart.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
And lean not to your own understanding.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
On another day, the angels came to the present to
present themselves I'm sorry before the Lord, and Satan also
came with them to present himself before him. And the
Lord said to Satan, where have you come from? Saydan,
answered the Lord, from Roman, throughout the earth, going back
(02:31):
and forth on it. Then the Lord said to Sadan,
have you considered my servant Job. There is no one
on earth like him. He is blameless upright, a man
who fear God at a man that shunes evil, he
shall maintain his integrity though you initiate, initiated me against
(02:58):
him to run him without any reason.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
The devil don't need a reason to come after you.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
His biggest reason for coming after you is the day
that you confess Christ. Is the day you said I
believe that Jesus died and rose on.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
The third Day, and that he sits on the right
hand side of the Father. The devil decided to come
after you. He wants to destroy you. Some people say, well,
I don't go to church no more.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
The scripture says that God is married to the backslaughter.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
So if you consider yourself as.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
A backslaughter, God is married to you, which still means
ends the devil. If God allows him, it is still
coming after you to stop you from being your name
being written in the lifebook of Lamb, and to stop
you from inheriting the kingdom of God. I was talking
(04:21):
to a friend a moment ago about some property, and
I found.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
In my culture that when somebody.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
Has left the house land that their parents.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Have left them.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Most of the time they were ready to sell it,
they'll move in it.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
They won't pay the taxes. But you don't understand what
you're doing. I found other cultures will keep that lamb
wrint that property out, utilize it for future for the
family inheritance.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Not us.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
We'll throw away everything. We'll get rid of everything real quick.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
A wise person would keep the land, build it up,
and have it for an inheritance for the family.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
The devil thought that he was bigger than God. He
thought he could overthrow God. He had a few.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
Followers that felt the same way he did, and thought
that he was gonna become God, which was never gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
We always think.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
That we can sell that land and do better than what.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Our parents left it to us, and you end up
wasting the money, not invested in nothing, and still ended
up with nothing. You're better off to keep the land
and the house that's on it then to throw it away.
(06:14):
You're better off trusting God than looking for a way
to get around God. There's no way around it, Jesus
asked the devil, had you considered my servant job. You're
not going through trials and tribulations for nothing. You're going
(06:37):
through these trials and tribulations because God wants to draw
you back to him. He wants you to seek him
more and more. Every so many have made vows that
you have not paid God back, for you have made
(06:58):
promises that you haven't kept.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Now God asked him, have you considered my servant?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Chose?
Speaker 5 (07:09):
God allowed the devil to try job because Job told him.
The devil told him, I'm sorry that if you would
take away all the material things that he has, he
will curse you and die. We struggle more from materialistic
(07:33):
things than we do seeking the face and the will
of God. The trials come to make us strong. The
trials come to bring us back into alignment with Christ.
(07:54):
The Bible says that our iniquities have separated us from the.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Will of God. Every one of us have iniquities until we.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Can get into a place that we don't lose our integrity.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
See this was the whole thing. They never said he
would lose his inturnity.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
A man will give all he has for his own
life im in verse four, verse five. But now stretch
out your hand and strike his flush and bones, and
he will surely curse you to your fate. See the
devil told him that you make him sick.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
He gonna curse you to his faith.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
A lot of us physically sick because we don't wanna
submit to the will of God, he allowed the devil
to make Joe sick.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
The Lord said, to save him very well.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
Then he is in your hands, but you must spare
his life. The God is allowing the devil to buffe
you about to prove to you and to the devil
that he is God. So Satan went out from the
persons of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores
(09:15):
from the soul of his feet, from the soul of
his feet to.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
The crown of his head boils.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
Another scripture said it was boils that came up on
Job's body. You are physically struggling because you have got
out of the will of God, and God want to
try your faith. Some people say, Sevester, I'm a Christian,
I have in sin. I've been walking with God all
(09:44):
in my life.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
God is trying you. He's allowing the devil to try you. Realize.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
God uses the devil for his purpose. God has control
of him.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
He's not in control of God.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
He's not in control of now that God is in
control of him, and he utilizes him.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
For his purpose.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
It's just like people will use other people on you
to get what you want.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
You think about kids one to come in.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
They ask you grandmama or mama or daddy, Can I
have some cookies?
Speaker 2 (10:17):
You'll say no, They'll go back to their brother or sister.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
They'll talk to them, they'll talk about it, and about
twenty minutes later, the other one to come, Mama, can.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
I have some cookies? Because that one couldn't get it?
Speaker 5 (10:34):
He figured, well, you love that one a little more
than me, or that's your favorite child, so I'll send
that one to get it.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
That's the same way.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
The devil works, and God uses him for his purpose
on you, You, me, and no one else will be
in certain situations if we trusted God in the right way,
if we did what he did on the cross, as
I said a few weeks ago, he said, I would
(11:09):
this cup would pass from me. I don't want to
do this, but not my will that I will be done,
not my way, but your way.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
And we have to come to the conclusion.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
That the Bible said there's a way that's seen him
right until now, but that way lead us to destruction.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
We got to come to the place.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
To trust the Lord and said, Lord, wherever I fail you,
wherever I went wrong, what am I doing wrong? Or
what is it that you are trying to teach me
or show me. It ain't so much all the time
you did wrong. All of this was to prove Joe's faith.
I believe this was the show Job's faith in Christ.
(12:05):
Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scattered
himself with it, as stretched hisself with it. As as
he sat among the ashes, his wife said to him,
are you still maintaining your integrity? Your curse? Curse God
(12:25):
and die. He even went to the point of using
the precious one that he loved to tell him what
to do.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
A man treasures the words.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
Of the mouth of his wife. A lot of women
think we don't listen, but we do, and your words
come back to us when we going to here and there,
and to and go in places. We treasure what you say.
It may not seem like it, but we do. We
hear what you say too. What did Joe say to
(13:04):
her reply? Are you talking like a fool?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Woman? Should we accept good from God and not trouble? Ah?
Speaker 5 (13:12):
Look a here, the minute things start going wrong, we
get sick and what have you? We start talking down Bible?
Said a double minded man. Is no, it's no good.
Wait a minute. We we we get sick we start
doubting God. The minute I'm finances ain't what they should be.
We start doubting God. We never come to the place
(13:37):
and say, well, Lord, I thank you cause the calumn
a thousand hells belong to you.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
You know what I need and you know what I
don't have.
Speaker 5 (13:48):
So Lord, while I'm waiting on y'all want you to
bless my soul. Instead, we own the phone, crying and
complaining and letting folk know I don't think I can
do this no more. While you're calling them, they ain't
got nothing called Jesus.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
They can't do nothing. They going through too.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
But we always calling somebody that's gonna agree with our doubt.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
We become like the children of Israel, and the many
doubt steps in.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
It takes you a while to get your faith back
up because doubt come in and push faith clean out
of the way, and the faith you had you got to.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Work hard to get it back.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
See, so all of this was about showing the devil
and showing job and showing the devil that God was
stronger than him, because see everything that the devil put
on in God helding together.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Don't fall out with.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
God because you're going through don't fall out with God
because you're sick. Don't fall out with God because you
ain't where you think you should be. Just prais him
any and thank him and trust him and know that.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
He's going to bring you through.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
He told the devil, he said, you go ahead now,
if you do anything you want with my servant. Well,
when it's all said and done, he will have the victory.
So when we get through going through these bumps and
these knocks and being torn, throwed here and there and
back and forth, God will give you the victory as
(15:26):
long as you keep the faith, as long as you
allow Him to keep the faith in you, because God
will keep you at courage. God will keep you spiritually
strong if you let him. But the minute you start
talking down and pushing God's strength out of the way,
you cause your own problem. You cause your own delay.
(15:51):
When Joe went to talking and complaining, he cast his
own delay for the deliverance. Because the minute steps in
you pushing God and you and you're speaking negative about
God and about his abilities, then you're pushing it back
instead of letting the vitually come forward, you're delanding.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
You. See, So you've.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Got to stay on an up with motion when it
comes to Christ. But he ended up saying, though you
slay me yet, will I trust you? Can you say,
though you slay me yet, will I trust you? It
looks dark, it looks hard, it's painful, it hurts, It
(16:37):
breaks your heart, But God will bring you through.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
To see your children suffering, to see them go.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Wayward, it breaks your heart.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
But God's gonna bring them through as long as you
hold on to the faith, and as long as you
keep thinking them and believing it and knowing that the
Lord will fix it. There's a song they used to sing,
I know the Lord. It's gonna fix it after a while.
(17:13):
It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow,
but the Lord will fix it and deliver us from
all of the trials. But all of this is to
make your faith stronger. Because Joe's face was increased. You see,
(17:33):
it is something that maybe we don't understand because God's ways.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Are higher than ours.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
Remember he took Jeremiah and showed him the Potter's house,
the molding, the shape it, and the making.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
And when we become a Christian, we're like a newborn
baby in God's hands.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
God has gotta train us.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
And teach us just like you train your child. Halleluia,
Chloe wonder for saving Thank you Jesus. That's why he said,
trust in the Lord and lean.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Not to your own understanding.
Speaker 5 (18:13):
Put no confidence in the God, nor trust in the man,
but trust only in him. He wants you to trust
him one hundred percent. He wants you to believe in
him one hundred percent. He wants you to come one
hundred percent with him.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Not with nobody else.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
The Bible says, when the weakest believer prayed, the foundation
of hell shake. He don't want you to believe when
the preacher lay hands on you is done. He wants
you to believe before then. He wants you to believe
that he can do it, before you call somebody for prayer.
He wants you to believe that when you prayed, he's
(18:59):
answering your prayer, and that he heard you when you prayed.
He wants you to trust him and no one else.
He wants you to depend.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
On him and no one else.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
I keep telling you this is like a husband and
a wife relatesship. Your husband go over talking to another
woman about a problem that he has and not talking
to his wife. Oh he gonna be in a mess,
and vice versa, because why did he go next door
and talk to her about the problem instead of talking
to her at home that he married to at the problem? Hallylujis,
(19:39):
you'll never live that down when your spouse get through
walking you like a flat. A husband or a wife
would do that because you're supposed to bring the problem
to them. So how do you think Jesus feel when
you're running to somebody else and everybody else but running
to him calling this one and you're after that one,
(20:02):
and he run into this and that. But instead of
running to Jesus, instead of taking five minutes off your time,
falling on your knees and laying it out your Jesus,
because he hear you when you call. He'll answer you
when he gets ready, but he'll secure you why the
answer is on the way. He'll encourage you while you're waiting.
(20:26):
He'll be right there with you every step of the way.
He'll rock you, flop you, hold you and hug it.
He'll kiss you, he'll bounce you. He'll give you joy
unspeakable and full of glory. Why you're going through sometime.
He's got to bring our flush under control. Because see
(20:49):
the flush is wild, like a wild bush old glory.
The flush is like the weeze. It grows up through
the grass. And if you ever known anybody the garden
and digging in the grass and planning things, they'll tell
you we got to set separate that weed so that
that grass will look pretty.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
And that's the same thing with the flesh.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
We got to put We got the decrease so God
can increase in us. And we warfare with our own self. Sure,
I know the ship should said we wrestling out against
flesh and blood, but against demons, and that was principalities
of all.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Kinds of nature.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
But I want you to understand you're wrestling with your
will and God's will. You can't make God do what
you want him to do, but God can compel you
to do what he wants you to do. You can't
run God. You can't control God. You can't command God.
(21:50):
God can command and run you. So when he allowed
the devil and go after job, you go ahead and
do what you're going to do. And the first thing
the devil did was attack his body. And the first
thing that ever happens to us is we get sick.
That's the first thing that happened. Now think about it.
(22:14):
God is using the devil on you to get you
where he wants you to be. I think this scripture,
this Book of Job, is one of the greatest examples
of how God's shape and mold his people your chlobe.
Some people say, I don't want to read that book.
(22:35):
I don't want to study that because I don't want
to go through that. Well, you don't have to go
through that. All you got to do is learn the
trust in the Lord ye.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
With all that heart, and.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Lean not to your own understanding. Sometimes we don't understand everything.
Sometime we feel like a motherless child. Sometime we feel
like our fathers have for sukus. But I want you
to know that Father Jesus have never forsooke you. He said, Lo,
(23:15):
I'm with you always, even until the end of time.
I'll be with you in every area of your life.
I'm in the valley with you, and I'm in on
the mountain with you. But you've got to trust God
and believe that he can do anything.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
But phil.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
And despite what Joe was going through, the sickness in
his body, he told his wife, I will still trust
the Lord. In so many words, That's a song I
love to hear that they used to sing. I will
trust in the Lord until I die. I don't care
(23:55):
what I'm going through and what I'm doing. I'm gonna
trust God to the end. No, ladies and gentlemen, I'm
not perfect. I'm stumbling like you. Day by day, step
by step, I'm learning. But I'm gonna trust God no
matter what. Because the whole thing about it, I've never
(24:17):
found a friend so faithful. I've never found nobody who
loved me like he do. I've never found nobody to
care like he do. I've never had nobody to watch
my back like God does. Oh Glory, Hallelujah, Glory to God.
(24:38):
Wonder for Savior, Wonder for Savior. Can't nobody do you
like Jesus. Can't nobody love you like Jesus. Can't nobody
comfort you like Jesus? Can't nobody hold you like Jesus.
He'll hold you firm even when the fire seemed like
(25:01):
it's all about to overtake you. Jesus will bring you
out of the fire. But you gotta trust send the
Lord and not doubt. Don't doubt God. Every time you
think it's going bad, look at the twenty thirty chapter
of Sums. The Lord, the Lord, the Lord is my shepherd,
(25:24):
oh glory, And I shall not want he making me
to lie down in green pastures. He leaded you beside
to steal waters. He will restore your soul. Come on now,
So you've got to know that there is no friend
like Jesus. There's no lover like Jesus. You say, I
(25:47):
get lonely sometime. I cried sometime.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
But I want you.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
To know if you cry on Jesus, He's gonna.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Be there for you.
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Allow him to clean us from the filthiness of the flush,
the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh.
He's got to bring us out and bring us through.
There's so much being broadcasted today. I was listening to
a radio show yesterday and the man's daughter is getting
and wanted to bring her girlfriend to their house to
(26:21):
stay with them.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Well, it was.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Against their Christian belief that lifestyle.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
But here is the situation that they were in.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
Do we want to hurt our daughter and say no,
or do we want to accept our daughter and say yes.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Well, you cannot condone sin. Sin is sin.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
I don't care how you look at his sin is sin.
You can't put a muzzle on it. You can't sweeten it,
you can't change it. Sin is sin, and if God
called it sin, it is sin. Ain't no two ways
about it. So how can you pacify sin?
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Now?
Speaker 5 (27:01):
You cannot and be a Christian. You've got to be
straight across the board, no matter what.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Glory hallelujah. Job lost his whole family.
Speaker 5 (27:12):
The devil killed every one of them, took everything that
he had.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
But Job kept trusting God.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Job kept believing in God because God strengthened him, because
God put it in him, and God will put it
in you to stand.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Firm on his word.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
The truth hurts, but.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
We have to tell the truth from it breaks our
heart because we don't want to offend anyone, and they
didn't want to offend their daughter.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Old Glory be to God.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
But I kind of got a little dispunded when the
pastor told them, well, tell them they can't sleep in
the same room.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Well, how you gonna do that?
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Now he come by Shannaha, already allowed them both to
come under your work.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
How you gonna ay.
Speaker 5 (28:04):
Glothy that God hollerlujah, won not for sake to stand
on the word of God the Bible say, train us
in the way we should go, and when we're old,
we won't depart from it. We know the spirit of
leuss is running wild. We have to pray and believe
(28:29):
that God is going to deliver every one of our
loved ones. God's gonna bring them out. The devil will
not have the victory. Now, Lord, we thank you for
your word. I thank you for every listener. I pray
God that you put the trust in them for you
(28:51):
that they need, and put the trust in us that
we've never had for you as we should have. In
the name of the Father, Son and a holy Spirit.
Go with God, and God, we'll go with you. God
bless you.
