Michigan and beyond. This is theBig Three now see speak Greek. It's
the stories about it. Most ofme talking about these around watercle the dinner,

in the news keeps coming at us. Big question today is show going to
step away? We'll talk about that. Gretchen in the meantime, has fumbled
her first attempt to slip into theWhite House. The reports coming in right
now. Chilie Tunor Dixon talking aboutthis over on Fox News the other day
in this wild you know, JoeBiden's in town and she gave Will Rents

(02:00):
the cold shoulder because of all theknifing that's going on behind the scenes.
Well, we know why he's staying, because he is an egotistical maniac that
can't possibly comprehend the idea of leaving. However, the vultures are circling.
I mean, you hear that conversation. You know that you've got Gavin Newsom,
you already have the story that brokethat. Gretchen Whitmer was calling people

(02:23):
that night say we've lost Michigan. And you know, she doesn't know the
national scene, so she doesn't knowthat that was like a faux paw and
then all of a sudden she getsher handslapped and they're like, this isn't
how you work the presidential race, lady. So it's like the Democrats are
in full meltdown mode. And Ithink it's kind of beautiful because they brought
this on themselves. They knew exactlywho Joe Biden was. Jill knows who

(02:46):
he is, but all the staff, they knew this is not People didn't
find out for the first time Thursdaynight. Voters. Some voters found out
for the first time Thursday night, but everybody around him, they knew how
bad this was. People will watchthe NMSD at see maybe they found for
the first time the other night, but very good point. The knives are
out and it's just getting worse.Number two, Crooked Judge Jan Mershawn has

(03:14):
vacated Trump's July a lenth sentence dateset for September eighteenth now because of the
immunity case. The other day, some guys said, unlia though this was
interesting, Trump's got like a goldenhorseshoe, firmly implanted you nowhere. He
said, It's just wild. That'swhy they call him a teflon don.

(03:35):
Every single time, you know,a bad, bad week for Biden.
This last week been a fantastic, tremendous, huge week for Trump in a
lot of ways, and things keepgetting interesting and more interesting by the day.
Hunter Biden has joined the West Wingfor meetings after his dad's disastrous of
eight. He doesn't trust AIDS,according to sources. I guess he's trying

(03:59):
to protect his dad, or,let's be honest, protect his dad's position
and power. That's probably more likely. Breaking news, we're now learning that
Hunter Biden is attending some of thePresident's meetings at the White House, staying
close to his father post debate.NBC's Monica Elba is reporting from Washington,
DC. What more can you tellus, Monica, Well, these are

(04:20):
new details coming into our team.Chris, along with my colleagues Kristin Welker,
Mike Emily, and Sarah Fitzpatrick,we have learned from sources familiar with
the situation at the White House thatHunter Biden has been by his father's side
ever since they were at Camp Davidthis weekend of the family where they had
some discussions about the president's potential pathforward here and his reelection campaign, and

(04:46):
that since he returned from Camp Davidlast evening with his father. We understand
that Hunter Biden has even joined somemeetings and conversations that have taken place between
the President and of his most senioradvisors and senior staff booking news. That's
there's a reason why he's here now. Jill's here in West Michigan the day

(05:10):
she's touring given old Gretz the Coltshoulder. Come on, I'm not just
going to stay at home with Joeand feeding the pudden cups. Called Justin
now at six one six seven sevenfor twenty four twenty four at six one
six seven seven for twenty four totwenty four, West Michigan Live with Justin
Barclay on news Radio Wood thirteen hundredand one oh six nine a half m.

(05:31):
Thanks for heating up, folks, that's a fact. More and more
each day, twenty five Democrat membersof Congress now say that Joe ought to
go. In fact, Hillary Skulton, Democrat from West Michigan, expressing quote
unquote concerns about Biden's debate performance, she said, I watched the debate.

(05:54):
I was concerned about the President's performance. I have raised those concerns strongly to
the Democrat Party. So you seethe cracks are starting to form here,
and these when you start getting electedstalking, this is where you know they've
even been either you get them thegreen light or the knives are out.

(06:15):
You're starting to see it happen. And usually the Democrat Party is all of
the kniving behind the scenes. Notso at this point, their knives are
out and they're out in public.Joining us to talk about this is a
friend who's really had a great timetalking with over the last several months.

(06:36):
James Dixon. Love to follow himon down I seventy five. He's written
for multiple folks and now papers andwhatnot. Now he's got his own podcast
and it launches today. So it'sa big day and a celebration is due.
James, congratulations justin thank you somuch for having me on, and

(06:57):
I really appreciate it. I knowthis a long time I'm coming. You've
already got several episodes that are outright now. I notice risk it for
the Brisket, our good friend IanMurphy and Riley Gaines. You've got a
couple that are already on. Iknow you got plans for big ones coming
out, but tell us about thepodcast, why you decided to start it,
and what we can expect in thefuture. Obviously days ahead, you're

(07:25):
really starting to put the things inemotion here and so really coming together now.
So yeah, we launched today. So tomorrow is America's Independence Day.
Today is my Independence Day, Julythird, twenty twenty four. And so
we started the Enjoyer podcast that's onSpotify, Apple, YouTube, you know,

(07:46):
anywhere you find those. And soin my very first one, I
asked, would you choose Michigan,And I evaluate Michigan through the eyes of
Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon, where they were just trying to choose a
city to set up their second headquarters. Detroit basically offered to give itself away

(08:07):
and Jeff Bezos said, no,thanks, but now you can have a
fulfillment center down the road. ThenI look at it through the eyes of
my grandfather, Roosevelt Hunter, hemoved up from Louisiana in the nineteen forties
after World War Two. And whenyou look at it through the eyes of
someone who came from another state, which is incredibly rare in Michigan, or

(08:31):
Jeff Bezos, who could attract peoplewho could work anywhere and live anywhere in
the world, and why would thatperson choose Michigan. The results are pretty
sobering. Yeah, and I thinkobviously there are some issues that are at
stake care that are long term problems, and I know you talk about some
of that, but one of thethings that is very recent and very relevant

(08:58):
to the state of the state aswe speak, also has a direct impact
right now, at least correlation towhat's happening in the country. Look,
she was riding with Biden, andwe point out these individuals like the Wolverine
Queen Gretchen Whitmer, who now isbeing talked about as someone who might join

(09:22):
the ticket or maybe be at thetop of it for twenty twenty four.
I know she certainly has the ambitionsfor twenty eight and beyond, but we
have to admit a lot of thethings that we're seeing aren't just personality based
and the issues of what we're seeingwith Biden and what MRCA, but they're

(09:43):
policy based, and these people havesome of the worst policies that have impacted
us Michigan, Detroit airmitt all throughoutthe state in some of the different ways.
I want to talk about her andwhat's on the obviously this shot that
she could make it on the ticketcoming up here in a second. But

(10:03):
first just your reaction to that. The policies also the people. But it's
it's it's essentially these policies that arethat are the problem. Oh absolutely,
And Whittmer has largely gotten a passfrom the way she's covered by the Lancing
media. Whenever there's a dispute, typically the headline carries her voice, not

(10:26):
the voice of people who are challengingher. Uh And and so in the
in the mind of the average person, that translates to Whitmer's right, and
these other people are harpies, youknow. And so just what I think
will end up happening what I thinkhas happened already in just Whittmer's brief foray
onto the national stage. She's goingto find out that the way she's been

(10:48):
covered in the extremely bend over backwardsfavorable coverage. I mean, she she
gets more favorable coverage from the Lancingmedia, and she probably gets from her
own press office, which I imagineis honest with her from time to time,
and lasting they're just fans, andso no one has really examined this
woman shredded the Michigan Constitution. DuringCOVID, we knew that this virus was

(11:16):
going to affect elderly people, andyet she puts sick elderly people together with
healthier elderly people. Yeah, she'stalked about the road since before she was
elected. I see a lot oforange barrels. I'll give her credit for
that. Orange barrel people are doingwell. We need to actually get in
that business. Would I say thatthe roads are better or are improving?

(11:39):
No, of course not. Sowhat is the Gretchen Whitmer success story?
What can she say she did forMichigan other than being called that woman from
Michigan and being target of a clearlyfake kidnapping plot. Yeah, when you
look at it and you break itdown. By the way, our guest

(12:01):
earlier today has a book. Rep. Steve Kara has a book had about
Gretchen called True Gretchen. He wrotethe parry and I thought it was brilliant.
I thought I was kind of jealouswhen I read said, I can't
believe I didn't do this. Thisis this is brilliant. It's beautiful,
and it is such a good idea. And we just, by the way,
we just gave away a book.So congratulations, Oh yeah, one

(12:24):
of the folks here lined up forthe book. In fact, Mary,
I'm gonna butcher your last name,Casnowitz, I think is her name.
Congratulations, Mary, you've you've gota copy, come and signed in.
Of course we'll give some more awayhere a little bit later on. But
I just I think that she hasn'tyet even seen the heat. Charlie Ludove

(12:46):
has talked about this, and you'reright, she hasn't even yet seen the
heat that the national spotlight will bringher. Because it's not just all these
sick ephans and people that are justchomping it at the bid for her to
climb that lader because they feel likemaybe they can grab a hold of the
coattails with her along the ascent. But there are real, real threats and

(13:07):
all kinds of different folks behind thescenes in a Democrat party right now.
The knives are out and it's it'sgoing to get even worse because they're all
sorts of folks like a Hillary Clintonor obviously Gavinoosom Mountain, California. But
there's people behind the scenes that wedon't even know about that that that are
are right now seizing trying to seizeon this opportunity to grab power. But

(13:33):
they've got an even bigger problem inthe Democrats right now, and I think
it is this. You've got topeople, we have to acknowledge this,
the likelihood that anyone other than KamalaHarris will will be at the top of
that ticket. It's got to belike menuscool. How could they step around
her, essentially step over or areto get there. They couldn't do that,

(14:01):
and they never would because I mean, I think about it. In
nineteen fifty five, right those theparks gets arrested, refuse us to go
to the back of the bus.If we think that almost seventy years later,
Kamala Harris is willingly going to goto the back of the bus.
Oh, it's not going to happen. You're right. My voters would never
accept it. And if you thinkthat a black man would be an acceptable

(14:24):
substitute, Unfortunately, I happen tobe privy to the dynamics in our community.
If you remove black girl magic fromthat ticket, all hell would break
lout. We've already started see thepolling. Yeah, the poeing's already looking
bad and the tracks are starting toshow already if you did that. I
mean, but here's something I thoughtthat was kind of interesting. You know

(14:46):
Scott Adams, the Dilbert cartoonist.Yeah, yeah, I heard him talking
about this, and one of thethings he said is that, you know,
what could be possible because this issort of like a religion for Democrats.
What could be possible is the Democratsare willing to, uh to fail.
They're willing to because she probably notpulling great either. I mean,

(15:07):
some of the polls we've seen outthere. She I think she may pull
a little bit better than Biden rightnow, but she's the best of all
these other names that they've thrown outthere, but probably doesn't even still doesn't
win against Trump because they've got anexcitement problem and nobody's excited about Biden and
she was like last on the listwhen they originally everybody ran together back in

(15:30):
twenty twenty. So they're willing thoughthey said that did you said? Yeah?
No, she did not go wellat all. That's why it's the
funniest thing is like he's very unpopularand the only the only person least popular
or less popular is her, whichis wild. But he said he makes
the case, they're willing to failin order to stick to their religion of

(15:52):
the DEI thing, which is,well, you know, this identity politics
essentially, that's why will fail.We can fall on the sword. I
thought that was wild. Uh.And to make the point, the Republicans
will do what they want to dobest, which is just when in this
case, in this scenario, butthis could be literally the nail in the

(16:12):
coffin for the Democrat Party if ifthis goes that way and and they and
it all becomes there's sort of thisvictim of this wok ideology, the identity
politics and all of it. Whatare the likelihood could you think she could
win? I think Harris can win. I think, uh, you know,

(16:33):
so, I was looking at CNNthe night of the debate and where
I saw Harris was going to beon after Biden had just completely failed.
I just could not be more excited. I mean, I poured up another
drink, come like we're gonna havea good night. But then I'm thinking
Harris is going to obviously fail too. I live Harry Kamala Harris on Live
TV. Yeah, yeah, itwas an awkward interview. I actually actually

(16:56):
have a large to my phone anytimeKamala Harris is going to be line because
you never know what she'll say,and she held it down justin she she
took those questions and she minimized whatwas literally the worst debate performance we've ever
seen. I mean, I usedto go to high school debates for fun.
Biden was worse than those guys. She took the worst debate performance we'd

(17:18):
ever seen and minimized it to aslow start. The rumors that Kamala Harris
is just unable to do this,I think are greatly exaggerated. They used
her mostly in the comic relief role. Just a few days after the debate,
I saw a video with her atthe BET Awards and she's having this

(17:41):
fake phone conversation with Taraji Henson andthis kind of black girl lingo. Yeah
girl, mostly how they used her. But this show, this DNN thing,
showed Kamala Harrison has when it comesdown to it, she has actual
chops. And I imagine that theKamala Harris we saw in CN it kind
of saved today on a bad night. That's probably the Kamala Harris who you

(18:04):
see behind the scenes when he's notdoing comic relief and the idea that,
I mean, Harris has already comeafter Whitmer. So this story in Political
I thought was amazing. Whittamer hadto refute Itally's reporter Jonathan Martin runs with
a third hand account of a Whitmerconversation where Whittmer allegedly tells Biden that she

(18:29):
doesn't think Biden can win Michigan andhas presented us coming from a twenty twenty
eight rival. Well, who's atwenty twenty eight rival, who's also a
White House source. Famala Harris,Famala Harris. And the fact that,
you know, it's funny because Bidendid something else that kind of tipped his

(18:51):
hand. He sent out polling. You know, you see, he hears
that people are worried, so hesent out polling. All right, you
guys want to replace me, Here'show all these other Democrats would do against
Trump. And what he found wasthat Biden and Harris both wos to Trump
forty eight forty five. They hadidentical polling numbers. Every other Democrat had

(19:18):
forty four percent or less, includingWhitmer and Newsom. Yeah, so the
message could not be clearer. DeanBiden is saying, if it's not going
to be me. It had betterbe harrish. We look at Joe Biden
was in town yesterday out and you'repart of the state Grand Rapids. The
first lady comes to Michigan. FretchenWhitmer is the Biden campaign co chair,

(19:45):
and Whitmer does not greet the firstlady. Yeah, there's something under the
cold shoulder. All the time wehave for today thanks to James David Dixon.
New podcast out and you can getit the Enjoyer. Enjoyer dot com
is the website thanks to James.Back with you next big news called justin

(20:06):
out Now. You got a IndependenceDay tomorrow and folks are fired up for
a big weekend. I hope yougot lots lots planned to head, some
good things going down. We gotsome big things ahead to us. I

(20:30):
mentioned got to be fun atter thegoing Back program on Friday nationwide, so
looking forward to that. But thisweekend is going to be full of more
fun and surprises for the whole familyas well. Joining us now the pastor
from Newchapel, which is a fourmile in alpine essentially here in the Grand
Rapids area. Job Bebloco joins usright now. The lead pastor there and

(20:55):
senior pastor Newchapel. You have everyyear for the past like four five years
something like that. Now done thisbig event on Indpens Day weekend called Living
in Freedom. First it was Driveinto Freedom, and that's kind of how
you and I met. Yeah,is were you were doing this craziness,
This crazy preacher getting up on topof the roof of this church building in

(21:15):
the middle of the craziness the lastfew years and preaching. Is this guy's
a character. I got to talkto him, and so that's how you
and I met. And you've hadsome fantastic events over the last few years,
starting with the Drive into Freedom. It was essentially the it was because
of all the drive insanity. Buttell us where this event came from,

(21:38):
what it's all about, and whyyou're inviting West Michigan out to come enjoy
this fun, free family event.Well, for sure. Good morning,
justin from Northern Command at Newchapel.Yeah, we started several years ago when
the demon in Lansing decided to shutdown the world and down churches, and

(22:00):
we just said that who is evena pastor to shut down the Church of
Jesus Christ. And so we saidwe couldn't do it. We were down
for two weeks, I have toadmit that. But we were the last
to close in Grand Rapids and thefirst to reopen, and we got up
on a roof. We got FMtransmitter ironically from China, and we were

(22:22):
able to broadcast our services to aparking lot full of our church and then
we opened our doors, so wehad two in person and then we had
one drive in. Ultimately, itled to an event that we called Drive
into Freedom, which in essence wassaying that our freedom comes from God,
not from government. And so wecelebrated big welcomed you in, and that

(22:45):
is you know what's funny is whenthe world was bowing, it was very
cool that you could actually just standup if you weren't bowing, and you
could see the other eagles, andthere were other people that stood up in
that season, and it was verycool to connect with you were part of
that event. It eventually became anevent that we have called living in Freedom,
which living in Freedom is this annualreminder that we are not going to

(23:11):
be shut down. We're not goingto be shut down by any government,
any person, any loud minority, any anybody that wants to fight against Jesus
always loses, and so what wewant to do is celebrate our freedom,
which is from God. And everyyear it's gotten a little bit better,
a little bit different. And thisyear it's going to be out of sight

(23:33):
as you know, it's the crownas we say, of Independence Day weekend.
I love it, and you know, it's a very cool event because
not only did you get to comeand see a great message, but you
guys, this thing is getting biggerand bigger every year. You have carnival
rides, games and free food, food trucks and raffles and all kinds of

(23:53):
things. Tell us what's going onSunday. You know, I grew up
in the North country of Missisian andyou know, we didn't have a lot
of money. We're poor, andso I couldn't afford to go to some
of the fun events like baby FoodFestival and things like that, and so
I had a real heart to beable to give an event away to the
community. There's a lot of churchesthat might talk about, hey, we

(24:14):
want to we want to take overGrand Rampers, want to take the ground.
Man, I want to give myselfaway to the community and so this
event's free, and yet it's freecarnival rides. We have real bona fide
rides, pretty cool stuff and games. Yeah, we've also got a car
show and my favorite part about thatis that there's going to be not one,
but at least two Doloreans, whichmatters for those that's of the future

(24:37):
fans out there, and so hundredsof cars and so that's going to be
amazing. Yes, food trucks andfree food, so there's going to be
some desserts that you can buy,but also we've got food for the whole
family. And then that day atchurch, for all three of our services
eight thirty, ten, eleven thirty, we have my pastor, Pastor Willie

(24:57):
George, and some of your listenersmight remember watching him on TV. This
was Gospel Bill back in the day. He planted a church and it became
one of the largest churches in America. Is where I went to church when
I was in Bible College. AndPastor George has invested in my wife and
I for the past several years directly, and it's gonna be a real honor

(25:18):
to have him in. And ofcourse we're gonna have some giveaways which I
think might be one of your favoriteparts as well. Oh yeah, because
we've got stuff for families. We'regonna be giving away bites for kids,
and we're giving away a raffling offI should say, a great wolf Lodge
trip for a family. But alsoand this will be I believe the fourth

(25:41):
time that we've done this. We'reraffling off in a R fifteen rifle.
It's gonna be so cool and soit's gonna be a big day. It's
gonna be a big day at church. Yeah. You know what's interesting about
that is the last few times you'vedone this. I love the winners are
always really interest thing a young gal. Last year mom won, and then

(26:03):
the year before was was a grandmotherwho won. And I love to see
the looks on their faces, howexcited they get. And you give a
prize like this away, it's it'sreally something cool. And again it's kind
of unusual, it's a little differentand uh but you know you again,
you're finding a lot of folks gettinginvolved in getting have a kick, get
a kick out of it. Soagain. Nudchapel is four Mile and Alpine.

(26:29):
That area used to be the fourMiles show Place and you guys,
congratulations. Nudchapel just acquired that buildingand expanding, so this is growing.
Not only is the event growing, but so is the church by leaps and
bounds, and because of probably allthe fun things in the sound teaching and
all the really the family atmosphere there. Well, I appreciate those kind words.

(26:53):
It means a lot. You know, it's all about Jesus and what
he's doing, and he's on themove. You don't hear a lot about
what he's doing worldwide and even inour nation. But similar to the populist
movement that we're seeing in our country, there is a movement towards Christ some
would say the word revival, andit seems like every time it gets national

(27:15):
attention, it gets suppressed pretty quickly. But God is on the move.
And yes, we were able tobuy it was the old Butler's grocery store
DNW Plums on the Northwest side. And you know, there's nothing really like
us here and it's an honor toserve our community, and that's what we're
trying to do. We're trying tomake a difference in people's lives and the
lives of families. And I thinkthat something like that can't help but grow,

(27:38):
and it could happen in any context. I have a cousin that's out
in Conklin and he's preaching the gospeland his church is blowing up in the
middle of the in the middle ofthe countryside. And so it happens wherever
you see people that really care. And that's what we're trying to do,
is give ourselves away to the communityand really bless people. And yes,
of course, with God's word, that's what Sunday is. And I think

(28:00):
that you know, I get it. In Western Michigan, we only have
so many good days of summer. But if you really think about this,
for Christian not to go worship onIndependence Day weekend, I mean, you're
in essence saying that your freedom comesfrom government, and we know that's not
true. And so I think thatwe need to be in church wherever your
church is, to the listening audienceon Sunday, worshiping Jesus from whom all

(28:23):
of our freedom in Christ comes from. Hey, a lot of folks are
feeling it right now, the constantchaos swirling. And you had a message
about this last couple of weeks, and I know you and I've talked a
lot about this because every day there'ssomething new, and right now the headlines

(28:45):
are are definitely well, it's likea roller coaster ups and downs. Here.
What do you tell people that arestruggling with that right now? Well,
I'm going to tell you that theworld isn't just changing. It is
changing, but it's changed. Andthose of us that are that are real
watchmen. We see what's going on. We know the sign of our times,
and there is a lot of uncertainty. There's inflation, I think is

(29:08):
an absolute mockery and just shows howdetached our federal government is when they talk
about how this is the best economythat we've ever had. I mean,
Washington can't leave their way out ofa wet paper bag. And when you
think about our president, you knowI used to I used to say a
lot about him. Now I can'timagine the evil that his wife is allowing

(29:30):
him. That's elder abuse. Andthose of us that have gone past that
threshold of like, hey, thisisn't right now, we're looking at this
like this is not this has tostop. So we see a lot of
things that are going wrong. Theanswer is always the same because societies have
gone through chaos in the past. The answer to all of this is not
a political hero. And I'm goingto be voting, and I've got my

(29:52):
own red hat I will tell you. But the answer to these things throughout
the millennia has always been Gesus Christ, a personal relationship with Him, and
that's the only place where we havea clear path forward. It's found in
Jesus and that's where we find solaceand peace and resolve in any culture.
Amen, I cannot wait. Goingto be a great event, by the

(30:15):
way, Pastor Joe Baviloqua Nudechapel andall this this Sunday eight thirty ten and
eleven thirty, all of the services. You're going to be able to not
just enjoy the service, the messagewith Pastor Willie George special guest there,
he'll be coming in, but alsoall the fun, the food, the

(30:36):
family activities outside with the rise ofthe games, the car show and all
of the giveaways as well. Appreciateyou taking the time. If folks want
to find out more Newchapel dot Comany other place that maybe you would point
him or have him go check outyou Hey, come to church on Sunday.
If you're not part of a church. Jump in both feet. Let's
have a riot together and you cansee what this whole thing is all all

(31:00):
right, even if you do haveanother church coming and enjoy the you know,
one of the after you go tochurch, you know some of the
some of the fun stuff out there. Always always a good, good time
to talk to you, Pastor JoeBevil luck Well, thank you for being
here, thank you for all thatyou do. Justin we love you here
