Speaker 1 (00:00):
The jiganic government sucks. The suit of happiness radio is
dux liberty and freedom will make you smile of a
suit of happiness on your radio toil, just as cheeseburgers
a lib rise at food.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
The timing of this, this is just amazing. Right after
Donald Trump goes to McDonald's, the CDC issues of report
saying McDonald's cheeseburgers have E Coli.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
And they'll kill you or make you sick or whatever.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
They say that McDonald's quarter pounders have been linked to
any coli outbreak. I don't know if that's true, but
it would explain why Grimace looks that way, you know
what I mean? Hi, welcome to the show. Who's stopping
buy this afternoon? A lot of local stuff on today's show.
A lot of violence happening in southeast Texas and a
local case that could affect property owners all over the
(00:55):
state of Texas. Holly Hanson's here from the Texan News.
You're gonna want to but if you own property in
the state of Texas, this isn't you know, hyperbole or
there's a real thing that actually could affect your life.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
To stick around and we'll talk about that.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Plus We're going to Hollywood, where there is a lot
of suspicious stuff happening right now. Is it possible that
Hollywood celebrities are being pressured into campaigning for Kamala because
they're on tape at a P Diddy party doing something
unwholesome and they're being blackmailed into it.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
I actually think it might be.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I actually think there's a lot of evidence proving that
is actually taking place, with a with a with at
least a couple of celebrities who you've definitely heard of.
We'll get to all that real soon, but I start
off the afternoon show with this a breaking news story
from the Daily Mail involving America's second gentleman, Doug m Hoff.
You know, Jen Psassi says he's redefining masculinity.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I don't know if he is.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
We've already seen a woman go out and get beat
up by a guy before a powerful, wealthy what isn't
he a lawyer? Breitbart Today reporting on the ex girlfriend
of America's second gentleman, Doug Emhoff and has now come forward.
She is accusing him of physically assaulting her in twenty twelve.
This is a guy that wants to be America's first gentleman,
(02:15):
the first first gentleman.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Right, So here's what we know.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
This woman is trying to be anonymous for obvious reasons.
We've all seen what corporate media and democrats do to
women whose accusations, no matter how credible, threatened the left's
hole dumb power. She says she decided to come forward
for two reasons. The first is that Doug ham em
Hoff denied he beat her. He didn't even say it himself,
(02:39):
he used a spokesperson. The second is that his alleged
hypocrisy by claiming to be a feminist in the media
is really just too much for her to handle.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
It's pissing her off.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Now, remember, this is supposedly a guy who got his
nanny pregnant and then pressured her into getting an abortion.
What's really frightening, according to this woman, what's frightening for
a woman that's been on the other end of this
abuse is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed. Doug
em Hoff's being portrayed as some kind of a superhero
(03:11):
to feminists male feminists. So this woman's claim is somewhat shocking,
but it's been backed by multiple friends. She spoke to
immediately after the assault happened back in twenty twelve again
in twenty eighteen, so there are witnesses that can corroborate this.
She says that while the two of them were waiting
in a valet line to retrieve a car after it
(03:34):
attempting to attending the Cans Film Festival, she spoke to
a parking valet, hoping a large tip might get their
car faster. She says that after she innocently put her
hand on the valet's shoulder, Doug em Hoff hauled off
and slapped her so hard she spun completely around.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Here's what it says.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Quote.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I put my hand on the valet's shoulder to tell him,
with my one hundred dollars, could you please get me
a car as soon as possible. As I'm talking to him,
Doug got out of line, comes up, turns me around
by my right shoulder. I'm completely caught off guard. I'm
not bracing, I'm in four inch heels, wearing a full
length gown, and it's been two it's two to three.
(04:13):
It's between two and three in the morning. He slaps
me so hard. I spin around. I'm in utter shock.
End quote. She says she slapped him back, but that
in that moment his mask had dropped and I saw
his dark side. That's what she says. I think she
means figuratively mask, not like a COVID mask. Here's somemhere
I'll read to you quote it's dark. I don't speak French.
(04:35):
The cams I think the can's film festivals in France. Anyway,
the excerpt continues, My friends we're with are off having
an amazing time. I'm embarrassed and humiliated that this amazing
experience turned into this violent spectacle. I can't believe he
just slapped me. I said this to I can't believe
you just slapped me. I said this to him in
the car. What the hell is wrong with you? Why
(04:57):
did you do that? And the only thing I could
get out of him was he thought I was hitting
on the valet end quote.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Let's just say this allegation.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Is a little more credible than what Christine blossy Ford
said about Justice Brett Kavanaugh several years back. You remember
that the two people the m Hoff accuser told at
the time are key. What would be her motivation to
lie all the way back to twenty twelve, what would
be her motivation to lie when she told a third
(05:26):
person in twenty eighteen. Doug Emhoff wasn't second gentleman.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
At the time.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Right.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
There's also emof cheating on his first wife. That's bad enough,
but he did so with his own children's nanny, by
the way. Funny thing about that, Maria Shriver hosted a
town hall this past weekend with Kamala Harris.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
I don't think it.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
I don't think it immediately occurred to me as I
saw that, and it was an afterthought. But Maria Shriver's husband,
Arnold Schwarzenegger cheated on her with the maid and got
her pregnant, and then doug em Hoff cheated on his
wife with the nanny and got the nanny pregnant. And
then a little on the nose that those two had
that much in common, and they did a town hall
together last weekend. Doug Emoff got this woman pregnant, and
(06:13):
according to this alleged assault victim, the nanny accused doug
Emhoff of causing her to miscarry the baby and paid
her off to sign a non disclosure agreement. A number
of anonymous women who worked at them Hoff at a
law firm he ran in Los Angeles have come forward
to accuse Doug being a foul mouth sexist, misogynist who
(06:33):
hired a trophy secretary because she was pretty and retaliated
against women who didn't flirt back. It was a very
disturbing pattern of behavior and it adds up to more
than any of the accusations hurled at Clarence Thomas or
Brett Kavanaugh, or Donald Trump or a countless other number
of Republicans who have been dragged through the mud by
corporate media. But don't you dare bring the m Hoff
(06:55):
allegations up on CNN. Don't you dare are? They will
cut you off.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Lie from Texas Broadcasting across the peoples weet topic of America.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
This is proceeds of How It Is Radio with.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Ken Webstern, Junior Akay producer Kenny keep it here?
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Can we get local for just a minute.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
I think one thing that this radio show offers that
other talk radio shows during this time.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Slot don't offer.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
We're in the greatest city in the world, Houston, Texas,
and now I know no, don't change the channel, accuse
me of lying. Houston is a great place to be,
but we have problems here all is not well in Houston, Texas.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
We have crime.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
In fact, there's been some criticism of the Republican Party
here in Harris County for not having enough judicial candidates
on the ballot.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm not pleased about that either, and boy do we
need them. I'm just going to read a few news
stories here too. You you tell me what you think
of this. This Lee Mongerson Gilly age thirty eight, charged
with capital murder for his wife's death, Christi gil He,
also aged thirty eight, man's arrested charged with murder capital
murder of a pregnant woman. They claim he murdered her
(08:07):
while the kids slept. He is out on one million
dollar bond, which means, you know, one hundred thousand dollars basically, really,
really that guy we were letting him? Okay, well, at
least it doesn't happen a lot. Oh wait a second here.
Sunday service at the East Bethel Baptist Church started with.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Song and prayer.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Reverend Roland Mountain dedicated the service to his twin brother,
Ronald Mountain, who was reverend at the church. He was
tragically murdered. Yeah, no, I know, there's another senseless example
of disgusting cruel violence happening is get another case here,
and boy can't help but notice something these two cases seem.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
To have in common. Here looks an awful lot like
this guy was.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Wait, so there's another example of somebody getting gunned down
in a suspected road rage and they are demanding bond
reform as the suspects killer remains free on bond. The
twin brother saying why should he be free? Why should
he be as free as me? Keep him locked up
until the trial. That's what I want to see, That's
what he says. Okay, here's another one. Stephen Cheney out
(09:15):
on bond, cut off his ankle monitor a day before testimony.
Man cuts off his ankle monitor and goes missing during
his own murder trial. I could waste the whole radio
segment reading these to you guys. There are more examples
of this. Somebody that does a very good job of
documenting them is local journalist Holly Hanson of the Texan News. Holly,
why are there so many of these news stories?
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Yeah, this is disturbing, and we've been grappling with this
crime problem here in the Houston Harris County area for
a couple of years now, and one of the issues
is the number of violent defendants who are released on
bond and they kind of have this false sense of
security by saying, well, we're putting an ankle monitor on
them so we can track their whereabouts. Well, you know,
(10:02):
these guys often just just cut them off. I mean,
they're not permanently affixed there. They do come off, and
they're easily tampered with. And you know, they've tried to
crack down on that, but it's usually after the fact,
after the defendant or suspect has reoffended. And you know,
now we have more fugitives who were supposed to be
(10:24):
monitored with these ankle monitors, and it's just not happening.
It's not an effective control over someone who intends to
do harm when they're out on the street.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
When you look at this trend of bond reform across
the country, there's so many news stories about it. I
don't hear anybody complaining that there aren't enough criminals out
on the street. And yet somehow I feel like we're
moving away from common sense criminal justice and closer to
the very all of it. I mean, on a national level,
(10:56):
this is I'm giving you guys. Local examples, This is
going on in Chicago, New York City, New Orleans, Memphis.
It certainly seems like there's more of it happening, despite
the public outrage over the last few years.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
It certainly does, and there's a slow of criminal justice
reformers who truly believe that you should not incarcerate anyone
who has not yet been convicted of a crime, which,
you know, in theory, on paper, that sounds really good,
but the reality is a lot of these guys are
and women. I shouldn't say be sexist there. There's both
(11:30):
male and female offenders, right, but these people that they
are seeing are often repeat violent offenders, and so there
is a pattern of behavior. Whether or not they've been convicted,
you know, is not really a factor when you're considering
the public safety element. Now, we've got a lot of
judicial races. We do elect our judges here in the
(11:53):
state of Texas, so we've got a lot of judicial
races that are impacted by party politics. But for the
most part, what we're seeing this year is a slew
of judges challenging the incumbents on this issue. They're looking
at the treatment of criminal offenders or criminal suspects, and
(12:15):
whether or not these judges are doing enough to keep
the public safe when these people are brought in on
new charges.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Here in Southeast Texas, sometimes the politicians are as bad
as the criminals. And Fort ben County Judge KP. George
probably a good example of this. He is accused of
working with his chief of staff to fabricate hateful messages
against himself a few months before his election.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
This guy is on social media. He was the incumbent.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
I don't not really sure what his exact title is
at this point, but the guys on social media basically
committing hate crimes against himself in order to drum up sympathy.
I A can't believe that that is a winning strategy,
and b I got I realize it's not because he
got caught. But you do got to wonder, Holly, do
you think he's the first politician to do something like this?
Speaker 5 (13:08):
You know, I can't say for sure. I don't have
the whole lot of evidence, but we are hearing more
of these kinds of things take place, And for your
listeners are not aware of this kind of government structure.
The county judge is kind of like the mayor of
the county and this guy KP.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
George.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
She won reelection in twenty twenty two, and part of
his campaign materials included these fake racist messages that were
directed against him and his former chief of staff, Carral Patel,
who is on the ballot this year. He is the
Democratic nominee for County Commissioner in Fort Bank County and
(13:49):
the Democratic Party is rallied behind him. Despite the fact
that he's facing nine charges now the county judge, KP.
George is also facing at least one charge. He did
try to have that dismissed on Monday, but a judge
denied his motion, and so he is going to be
(14:09):
facing that one misdemeanor charge. But there's more. There is
some indication that he may have tried to tamper with
evidence by resetting his cell phone to the factory settings,
which would be interpreted by most people as an attempt
to erase the evidence right before investigator sees that phone.
(14:31):
If that bears out, then KP. George could also be
facing felony charges. So, you know, there's still a lot
to be told about this story and this you know,
it's pretty wild that KP. George is still in office,
and this other Democratic candidate is still on the ballot
despite the scandal.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Yeah, I'm amazed by that as well. Meanwhile, a judge
has rejected a motion to dismiss the criminal charges on
Monday against this candidate.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
And you know, I guess you.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Just figure a guy lies as often as this, a
guy comes up with a hoax.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
As big as this one.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Narcissism drives people to do some crazy things, and you
see it on full display in two places, a criminal
courtroom and in the ballot box. Holly Hanson, there are
two groups of people that just think they can get
away with murder, literally, murderers and politicians.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
It seems that way. We'll see they still have their
day in court coming, all right.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Speaking of elected officials that just seem to do whatever
they want, Harris County has a story this week. We
didn't talk much about this, but our tax assessor. Our
tax assessor collector is a woman named Ann Harris Bennett.
Now she is tasked with a wide array of duties,
but one of them includes registering people to vote. She
hasn't swiped into work in four years. Clocked into work right.
(15:52):
She swiped in ninety times in twenty nineteen. Now, I'm
sure she was supposed to swipe in more than ninety times,
but that was before the pandemic. This wasn't like a
a work from home thing. She's swiped in seven times
in twenty twenty. Since then, not at all. Over the
past year, she's sent eighteen work emails, mostly forwards Holly,
and she's missed numerous events. Her salary is one hundred
(16:13):
and seventy one thousand dollars a year.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
I think I'm in the wrong line of work.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
I yeah, So this is actually a very puzzling story.
My sources tell me that the elected tax offentsor collector
voter registrar and Bennett is seriously ill, and that's the
reason she has not been showing up at work and
appears not to be able to perform her duties, which
(16:39):
you know did compassions, as you know, our hearts go
out to her. But then also there are certain duties
that need to be completed, and there are a lot
of questions about, you know, how an elected official in
this case could retain her position, that paid position, covered
by taxpayer funds, but not actually be doing any work.
(17:02):
We're told that the department's being run by underlinks, and
you know, it's kind of on autopilot more or less.
It does seem that a lot of people of the
county have been aware of this situation for quite some time,
but it could have quietly allowed it to go on.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, before we run out of time here, I wanted
to talk real quickly.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Only got a couple of minutes left. But Keema, Texas.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
For those of you that live outside the Houston area,
you may have never heard of Kema in Houston, Texas.
Keema is a small town near the water, and it's
a lot of It's a small town. I think there's
a lot of money there because it's a place where wealthy.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
People keep a boat.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
It's also a place where there is oddly a lot
of political corruption. And it's my understanding there's actually a
case pending in Keema, Texas right now that would have
implications for property owners all across the state if the
case goes in a certain direction.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Can you explain this to us.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Yes, very brief La, the city has ordered a section
of the business district or entertainment district closed, so they've
closed this street down. The business owners have filed a
lawsuit and they're pointing to a part of the state
code that says that a city like this cannot close
(18:18):
the street without getting the permission of the property owners,
and the property owners are saying this is this is
just killing our business. There was one property owner in
court on Wednesday who said that, you know, he's has
to make three thousand dollars a day to break even,
and yesterday or the earlier this week, his business was
down to that day to seven hundred dollars or seven
(18:40):
hundred and fifty dollars. So you know, they're testifying about
how difficult it is to survive with what the city
is doing. But by contrast, the city is saying, well,
we're not actually closing the street. We're just restricting access.
We're just not letting any vehicles, including bicycles and golf carts,
(19:01):
traverse the street. And they're also taking away the property
owners' parking spaces, which they have previously paid the city
for and paid to have paid so that their employees
and deliveries and so forth will have the place park.
So you know, this is a judge's considering what's going
on here. We're waiting to see if he will in
(19:23):
fact issue an injunction to block this until they can
fully cash out all the details in court. But you
know this could have implication. If these business owners lose
this case and the city can do this, that's that's
a precedent, legal precedent for all cities across the state
(19:43):
of Texas that would allow them to come in and
close streets at will without getting permission from the property
owners and without consideration of how that would impact business
and sustain their I don't investment expected returns on their
(20:03):
investments in these businesses. So this is something we're continuing
to watch and we'll continue to report on.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Holly.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
You cover a lot of news stories from this tiny
little town, Kema, Texas, and I'm always I'm always suspicious
of whether or not, you know, I'm curious about whether
or not it is a good idea to cover it
on the show because it's such a small community. And
yet it's always, as you pointed out, it is always
a fascinating story.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
At the very least, it's just.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Unbelievable there's so much corruption in such a small town
with so much money. And then similarly, like this case,
it will actually affect people's lives that have never even
been to Keema, But I guess my last question for
you is this, do you feel safe going there?
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Like, as a journalist, would.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
You travel to that town and spend the night at
one of their cute little airbnbus?
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Would you do that?
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Well, you know, it's a very cute town and there's
a lot of fun things to do there, and you
know they kind of this boardwalk thing, but they also
have some interesting are locally owned, you know, non chain
kind of businesses that a lot of locals and Texas
residents like to frequent. But you know, what's going on
there is so disturbing and alarming. I'm hearing from investors
(21:16):
that they wouldn't dream of investing any more money in
this town just because of the way the residents and
the property owners are being treated. There's a lot of
questions about, you know, who may be behind all of
this manipulation and uh and the way they're they're managing
the city affairs. Yeah, there's there's been questions about the
(21:38):
police force. The police chief had to resign. There's an
investigation into the police chief. Information about that is tied
up in a state court and another lawsuit. There are
multiple lawsuits pending against the city over property rights, and
it's it's quite an interesting case. I suggest it's a
microcosm of what's going on off the state and a
(22:00):
lot of these small municipalities that have some long term,
permanent impact, and it's worth paying attention to.
Speaker 3 (22:09):

Speaker 3 (22:18):
You are listening to the Pursuit of Happiness Radio. Pursuit
of Happiness. We don't have that in Mexico.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Things are so bad for Kamala right now. Her universe
is spiraling down. The woman did interviews this week with
CNN and NBC News.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
You got to think those are going to go well
for her. They did not.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Kamala Harris and her voice got oddly high after being
cornered during an NBC interview about Biden's mental decline. Kamala
started bumbling after being asked about her own judgment regarding
her apparent failure to notice Biden's cognitive issues. Somebody on
NBC asked her if she was being honest with the
(23:04):
American people about Joe Biden's brain Can.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
You say that you were honest with the American people
about what you saw in those moments with President Biden,
as you were with him again and again repeatedly in
that time.
Speaker 7 (23:15):
Of course, Joe Biden is an extremely accomplished, experienced and
capable in every way that anyone would want if they're president.
Speaker 6 (23:32):
Anything like what happened at the debate night behind closed doors.
Speaker 8 (23:34):
With him, It was a bad debate.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
People have bad debates.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
He is, absolutely, But that's the reason why you're here,
and he's not running for the top of the ticket.
Speaker 8 (23:45):
Well, you'd have to ask him if that's the only reason,
why what do you think I am running for president
the United States? I speak with not only sincerity, but
with a real first hand account of watching him do
this work.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Stop right there, you guys, remember how bad he was
in that debate. Do you remember how awful he was?
Speaker 9 (24:09):
You'd be able to write wipe about his debt. We'd
be able to help make sure that all those things
we need to do, childcare, elder care, making sure that
we continue to suppreend stands on our healthcare system, making
sure that we're able to make every single solitary person
eligible for what I've been able to do with the
uh with with with the COVID, I exculd be with
(24:31):
dealing with everything we have.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
To do with Joe? Look, Joe, wake up.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
If we finally beat medicare they finally beat Medicare you
know what it's sounded like to me?
Speaker 3 (24:44):
It sounded like this.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Have you ever had a dreams that that you you had?
Speaker 4 (24:50):
You?
Speaker 6 (24:51):
You you could?
Speaker 10 (24:52):
You do?
Speaker 5 (24:53):
You want?
Speaker 1 (24:54):
You you could do?
Speaker 7 (24:55):
So?
Speaker 1 (24:56):
You you do you can?
Speaker 2 (24:58):
You you want?
Speaker 4 (24:59):
You want?
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Yeah, yeah, that's Joe Biden.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
You're telling me that the only time you ever saw
Joe Biden's brain melt right before your very eyes was
during that debate.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
How did we know?
Speaker 2 (25:11):
How did the rest of us know back in twenty
nineteen something was wrong with the guy? You're alone with
him all the time, Kamala, Are you kidding me? That's hilarious.
So she's willing to lie about that. She's willing to
lie about that. What else is she willing to lie about?
NBC actually asked her real questions. That was not good
for commed.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
Can you say that you were honest with the American
people about what you.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
Saw in those mens?
Speaker 2 (25:32):
I already played that one. Here's one of my favorite
questions we played this one yesterday. The thing about the
trans policies.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
On the question of your beliefs, what you believe in.
Let me ask you this question very broadly speaking, here,
do you believe that Sharon's gender Americans should have access
to gender firm and care in this country.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
I believe we should follow the law.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
She never answered the question right, guys, she was all
in on trans writes right up until she wasn't. Johnel
dot Com, reporting on how Wednesday night, Vice President Harris
participated in a CNN television spectacle. That same night, CNN
put out a fact check one which touched upon a
(26:12):
subject that has continuously been a thorn in Kamala's side,
her stance on fracking. If you want to win Pennsylvania,
you better damn well support fracking. That's their number one
source of revenue. An attendee at the event, it was
a town hall style event, stood up and brought this up, asked, Kamala.
Much of what you've been saying with regard to issues
(26:34):
like law and order and fracking reflect a more centrist
view than what people are used to hearing from Kamala Harris,
leaving some voters to wonder about the authenticity of your
current more moderate positions.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Est can you talk about that a little.
Speaker 11 (26:48):
I've been very clear we kind of dispense with this
in twenty twenty. I am not going to ban fracking.
I did not as Vice president. In fact, as vice president,
I cast the tie breaking vote that now has opened
up more fracking leases. My value on the issue of
what we need to do to invest in a clean
energy economy and a clean energy future has not changed.
(27:09):
But frankly, I now have the experience perspective of having
been vice president for almost four years.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
I've traveled the country.
Speaker 11 (27:17):
I know that we can invest in a clean energy
economy and still not banfracking, and still work toward what
we need to do to create more jobs and create
US based jobs in a way that would be globally competitive.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Wait a second, that's CNN. That was CNN.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
This is Kamala on the same network a few years ago.
Speaker 11 (27:40):
There's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
So and people applauded that. Nobody applauded her this time.
Isn't that funny? The position that liberal news media consumers
want her to take isn't what average people want. Moderator
Anderson Cooper brought up fracking on his own following that response,
as he reminded her of the audience and the viewers
that Harris did while running for president in twenty twenty.
You say she was in favor of banning fracking. There's
(28:05):
no question. Still, Kamala took issue with his points. She added,
I pledged that I would not ban fracking. No, you
said you were for it. Anderson Cooper brought it up
as a way to ask if this position and her
other flip flops were positioned she'd evolved on right.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
He's trying to help her, Just to be clear that
what he's referring to.
Speaker 12 (28:23):
And you point out too, when you're running for vice
president in twenty twenty, you were not talking about banning fracking.
Speaker 11 (28:28):
But no, no, no, Anderson, I pledged that I would
not ban for I know you said.
Speaker 12 (28:32):
You would not ban fracking. You know you had said
in the twenty nineteen town hall, there's no question I'm
in favor of banning fracking. In twenty seventeen, you talk
about medicare for all you talked about twenty nineteen raised
a hand of debate about if border crossing should be decriminalized.
Are all of those issues which those are not your positions?
Speaker 5 (28:50):
Now?
Speaker 12 (28:51):
Are all those issues that you're saying, through consensus and
getting stuff done you have evolved on.
Speaker 11 (28:57):
Well, now, let's take, for example, the issue of Medicare.
My point has always been that access to healthcare should
not just be a privilege of those who can afford it.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
It should be a right for all people.
Speaker 11 (29:10):
So that is why I have worked on doing what
we have done to one allow Medicare to negotiate against
the big pharmaceutical companies to bring down the cost of
prescription medication. We've achieved that in terms of capping the
cost of insulent for seniors.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
That youretis positive right here, right? Do you understand there's
so much about this that's dishonest. Like I'll just touch
on the last thing she said on insulin. Trump lowered
the cost of insulin, Biden raised the cost backup, then
lowered it again, then took credit for lowering it. But
the discussion on fracking was perhaps the most brutal part
of the fact check. Listen to what CNN said, quote
(29:48):
this is false. Harris did not make her personal position
on fracking clear during her only debate in twenty twenty
the general elections vice presidential debate against then Vice President
Mike Pence. Harris never explicitly stated a personal position on
fracking during that debate. Rather, she said that Joe Biden
would not banfracking if he was elected. Harris said during
the debate, Joe Biden will not end fracking. When Harris
(30:12):
did reference her own views on fracking earlier in the
cycle during the Democrat primary, she went so far as
to say, there's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking.
This is CNN telling you that Kamala Harris is being shifty.
While on CNN that same night, fact checker Daniel Dale
also emphasized it is not true that Harris pledged in
(30:35):
twenty twenty that she would not ban fracking as president. Rather,
those comments came in her vice presidential debate with Mike Pence,
and that it was Joe Biden's position and not hers.
Speaker 10 (30:45):
It is not true that Harris pledged in twenty twenty
that she would not ban fracking as president. Her campaign
has explained that she was referring to her comments in
a VP debate with Mike Pence.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
But here's the thing about that debate.
Speaker 10 (30:56):
Nowhere in it did Harris say she had changed her
own previous twenty nineteen support for a fracking band. What
she did say in that debate twice was that Joe Biden,
the head of the Democratic ticket at the time, would
not ben fracking himself.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
I have the quotes here, she said. You get the
point right. You know.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
CNN still missed out on an opportunity to fact check
Kamala on her claims about January sixth, specifically how quote
some law enforcement officers were killed. This is a false
claim Kamala has made repeatedly, including last week in Wisconsin,
where she was campaigning instead of showing up for the
Al Smith dinner to benefit Catholic charities. No officers were killed.
(31:32):
One person, Ashley Babbitt, was shot and killed by Capitol
Police officer Michael Byrd. Officer Brian Signick died on January seventh,
with the medical examiner revealing it was due to natural
causes after he suffered two strokes, and there was no
evidence that had anything to do with what happened to
him on the previous day.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
So Kamala John.
Speaker 11 (31:51):
Kelly talked about I believe and many have is January sixth.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, where you have.
Speaker 11 (31:57):
The president of the United States defying the will of
the people in a free and fair election and unleashing
a violent mob who attacked the United States capital one
hundred and forty law enforcement officers.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Let's stop right there. How come they never talk about
June first.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
June first, twenty twenty protest in Washington, DC's Lafayette Square,
law enforcement officers from federal agencies units all over conducted
a I had to clear out protesters, riots going on,
people toppling over statues, people got hurt. Riot gear was
used to clear protesters demonstrating they were well they were
(32:37):
rioting because of the death of George Floyd. I don't
know what the federal government had to do with that.
You know, the guy they blamed for killing George Floyd
went to prison quickly due that was a quick trial.
It didn't take long to do that. Are judicial systems broken?
There are so many examples I could give right now,
but this is this is just one of many examples
(33:01):
of A. How broken our judicial system is, right b
how broken our media is. And see how corrupt the
Democrats are, because even when they're calling each other out,
they're still helping each other, aren't they free?
Speaker 4 (33:17):
Special leaves on right here on proceeds unhappy this.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Radio before we get out of here, A little bit
of Hollywood news. This was interesting. I always like a
feel good story. Do you guys like dogs?
Speaker 3 (33:33):
I like dogs.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend just got a new puppy,
a little baby puss. A cute little puppy too. That
in that adorable, Just a sweet little thing. She's so young,
she's barely even potty trained. No, not the dog, I
mean the girlfriend. Is this a spoiled, peppered, narcissistic Hollywood
bratt or what.
Speaker 5 (33:58):
You know?
Speaker 3 (33:58):
What happens in Hollywood? Nothing good?
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Sarah Jessica Parker A long time ago. I guess she
was attractive. I'm told I don't know she was an actress.
I'm not here to beat up on a woman because
of her appearance. I'm gonna beat up on her figuratively
speaking of course, not literally, because.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
She's so out of touch.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has endorsed Kamala,
and she's posted a thing online explaining all the reasons
that she likes Kamala books. Love Me Me was one
of her reasons she made a list. Nothing on the
list included the top issues affecting voters this illegal immigration, crime, inflation,
(34:38):
the economy, crushing cost of commodities. Donald Trump is a populist, right,
He's very popular with working class people. Kamala Harris kind
of like Hillary Clinton, seems to be spending more time
with celebrities right before the election than with average people
in swing states. Tim Mathis is here, stand up comedian
from Texas currently working in Hollywood. Is a comedy writer.
(35:01):
Tim does this matter?
Speaker 4 (35:04):
Oh, it matters a lot. You know. The whole celebrity
thing is I think backfiring. People have seen this play
too many times, and you just at a certain point
if you keep running the same play and promising all
this stuff, and look how cool we are. We've got fiance,
(35:24):
We've got em and m we've got Usher, We've got
you know, Bruce Springsteen. It's all fluff, it's all bs.
You're not talking about the things that people actually care
about because you're detached from reality. You're detached from that.
You live up in the hills, you live out on
the lake. You aren't in the streets like everyone else
(35:46):
struggling with the prices and the crime and illegal immigration.
The only thing that people like Sarah Jessica Parker care
about when it comes to illegal immigration is how they
can get more of it so they can pay less
money to the people that they use as a.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
Yeah, that's a great point. So, speaking of rappers, you
just brought up Eminem. Eminem is I think most people
probably know kind of a controversial rapper right as a
back in the day, he would rap about rape and
homophobia and killing his ex wife and that sort of thing.
And now he has come out and endorsed Kamala Harris
(36:24):
because he says she will defend free speech. I had
to say that off the air a couple of times,
so I wouldn't laugh too hard when I said it
on the air. I gotta think there are plenty of
policies Kamala supports to him. I'm thinking free speech probably
ain't one of them.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Eminem is the Howard Stern of the rap community. Yeah,
so in the nineties and in the eighties and the
early two thousands, Howard Stern was so edgy. He was
so edgy when they talked about Columbine. He talked about it,
whether or not the chicks at the school were hot,
you know, and of course he didn't get in trouble
with that. Not only was talking about underage girls, but
he was talking about the aftermath of a school shooting.
(37:05):
And he didn't lose his contract. They didn't Alex Jones,
Howard Stern, same thing with eminem. As long as you're
on the right side of electoral politics, any path sin
is immediately forgivable. I mean, look at Dick Cheney. They're
campaigning with Liz Cheney. It's blowing my mind.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
That's such a good point, Tim All right, moving along here.
Different rappers. I don't know what Usher is. Usher An
R and B Singer probably wouldn't consider him a rapper,
but same thing, same wheelhouse, I guess. A little over
a month ago he was on the View and they
asked him to endorse Kamala.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
In this emergency that we're in.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
I think that who's.
Speaker 6 (37:43):
Artists just come out and speak for Kamala against Donald
Trump because he is an existential threat to the country.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
What do you say to that?
Speaker 4 (37:51):
You know what.
Speaker 8 (37:51):
I don't get too deep into politics.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
I didn't get a chance to watch the debate last night.
I obviously have been watching like everybody else.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
I'm gonna pause it right here. I don't want to
waste a lot of time. He doesn't end up endorsing her.
That was a little over a month ago. Fast forward
to last night. Everybody, well, this week, suddenly Usher's out
campaigning for Kamala.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
I love you more, but I love Kamala Harris even more.
Tim does this look?
Speaker 2 (38:18):
I'm I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but okay,
I kind of am Does this.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Have to do with p Diddy?
Speaker 4 (38:25):
Yeah, somebody sent him one of the tapes. I mean,
that's that's what happened. You know, they saw him on
the view and they said, man, we really need Usher
in Georgia because ushers from Georgia and somebody who has
the tape, because they have the Diddy tape. They have,
you know, hundreds, it's not thousands of hours of footage
of celebrities and politicians and big muppety MUCKs in there
(38:50):
doing very dirty and most likely illegal stuff with Diddy.
Of course, it was illegal. I mean most of it
was not even consensual sex. And what they did was
they either called Usher and said, hey, man, so we've
got you on these Diddy tapes. Or they just sent
him a leak to one of the tapes and said
you are going to campaign for Kamala Harris. And by god,
(39:12):
he's out there campaigning for Kamala Harris. Usher's all over
the Diddy tapes. And I don't know if he was
a victim or if he was just there, but he's
He was intrinsically linked to Diddy for twenty to thirty years,
So of course he's on the tape. Of course Eminem
is most likely in the tape. Of course jay Z
(39:32):
and Sorry Houston. Of course Beyonce is on the tape.
So they're doing the same play that they've used for
forty years. Primarily it was Epstein at the originality, but
they branched out into folks like Diddy. There's European folks
that are doing the same thing. There's one hundred percent
(39:54):
more American celebrities that are doing the same thing. So yeah,
they called Usher and they said you will fall in
line or we will come after you.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah, dude, I mean, what a bizarre turn of events here,
and it's it's super transparent, what I mean to me,
it seems pretty obvious what's going on. I think your
take on it is not that strange to me, It
certainly seems that way. Then you really got to wonder,
what do they have on Ben Stiller? Right What do
they have on Ben Ben Stiller is out campaigning right now.
(40:25):
Hollywood star Ben Stiller and second husband Doug em Hoff,
the spouse of Kamala Harris, who apparently is a woman
beater and forced a woman to get an abortion. They're
out doing comedy videos together. Doug em Hoff just posted
one online here.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
What is this a White House for ants? How are
you and Kamaa going to live there? When you're first
gentleman and she's the president?
Speaker 2 (40:48):
It's supposed to be funny. I guess he's doing Zoolander.
Is Ben Stiller on tape with p Diddy? What's going
on there?
Speaker 4 (40:56):
Well, when it comes to Ben Stiller, he's always been
a uh well he first always a NEPO baby, so
he was born into the whole like Hollywood mail you.
So he's most likely he might be on the tape.
I'm not saying he's not, but he's always been on
the hardcore democratic side. But the biggest disappointment in Ben
(41:17):
Stiller is the easiest way to make comedy unfunny is
to sell out to the establishment. Once you're on your
knees for the establishment, then you lose that bite, you
lose that edge, and Ben Stiller lost it a long
time ago, to be honest with you, but stuff like
(41:37):
this does not help. And it's just it's not funny
because you're you're parenting the company and the party line
and everybody can see that, and it it just it
ruins whatever comedy and whatever. You know, hatire was involved
(41:59):
in what you were doing.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
Yeah, yeah, it makes it suck. It makes Zoolander less funny.
But whatever. I'm not gonna watch those Zoolander again anyway, Tim,
you got anything coming up?
Speaker 3 (42:07):
Any show? Is there anything you want people to go
check out?
Speaker 4 (42:11):
Go to my website gate Crashers Incorporated dot com. We've
got some information about our Mega Bowl movie, which we
are currently gathering financing for. It's a Frisbee golf mocumentary
that is set in Texas, so hopefully we can get
that up and run.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
I understand a lot of people's favorite morning and afternoon
talk radio show host may or may not be making
an appearance in that film.
Speaker 4 (42:36):
Oh yeah, we're trying to get trying to get everybody involved,
So it's gonna be a it's gonna be a big chin.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
A great line for you would have been yeah, but
Michael Barry won't call me back. Tim mathis follow Tim
mathis at Tim mathis Comedy And what'd you say?
Speaker 3 (42:51):
The website's what gate Crashers.
