Jack ganon government sucks. The suitof Habing is radio is de Us Liberty
and freedom will make you smile.A suit of habing and us on your
radio, Toyle just as cheeseburg islib rise at the food. According to
(00:29):
insiders, Joe Biden is furious hewas forced to step down, but don't
worry, he'll feel better once heforgets Hi. I'm Kenny Webster. Thanks
so much for turning on your radio. You know who's stopping by today.
Brandon Walts is going to be herefor just a little while to talk about
what's going on with Kamala is soBrat and how it's affecting the Texas Senate
(00:53):
race. The Houston Chronicle things ofthis matters. You're probably wondering, is
my radio broken? It sounds likeKenny just said Kamala is so bratt?
What does that even mean? That'sthe new catchphrase zoomers are using for their
new favorite politician, who they justlearned about five minutes ago. We'll get
to all of that soon. Stickaround, but first, breaking news this
today. I think this is probablythe biggest news story of the day.
(01:15):
Our girl, Kimberly Cheedle, thehead of the Secret Service is no longer
the head of the Secret Service.Very very sad. I know, didn't
you enjoy having her in that pace? She was so good. You know,
she's a woman and she's diverse,Or is she? I guess not?
No, okay, but still she'sa woman. Right after overseeing the
(01:36):
worst security failures in the past fourdecades, townhall dot com reports Secret Service
Director Kimberly Cheedle has resigned. Ohwhoa, whoa. The decision comes more
than a week after the attempted assassinationof our boy Donald in the ear from
an unsecured rooftop during a rally inButler, Pennsylvania, and Biden has released
(01:57):
a statement here He said, Jilland I are grateful to direct her,
Kimberly Cheedle, for her decades ofpublic service. Apparently they were personally friends
with her, and they played arole in helping her get that position.
And you can't expect conspiracy theorists tonot be suspicious about that. Yesterday,
Cheetle, while being questioned on CapitolHill, refuse to say whether she would
(02:21):
have tendered her resignation if the gunmanwas successful. Wait, if Trump had
been assassinated that day, if thegunman had succeeded, Okay, would you
have come and tendered your resignation?I would still be sitting here because I
would want to ensure the integrity ofthe investigation. Totally understand. That's a
fair answer that you would have setup that process. But would you have
(02:42):
had the honor to come in frontof the committee and say a president was
assassin FOREMN president was assassinated on mywatch? There should be new leadership.
I think that I have admitted thatthere was no Would you have tendered your
resignation if you had been killed? It occurred on my watch? And I
am accountable for that. Well, some of the people growing in the background.
She won't answer the question. Guys. Even Democrats were pretty upset about
(03:06):
this. It's been reported that beforeformer President Trump got up on the stage
at around six pm on Saturday,July thirteenth, that the local police had
identified and even photographed a man whowas acting suspiciously, and this man,
who turned out to be the gunman, had been flagged as a potential threat.
Is that accurate? What I cansay is that the individual was identified
(03:32):
as suspicious, so he was knownto be suspicious before former President Trump took
the stage. That is the informationI've received. Why was he allowed to
take the stage with a suspicious personhaving been identified in the crown So I
appreciate the question. I'd like tomake two points. If the detail had
(03:55):
been passed information that there was athreat, the detail never have brought the
former president out onto stage. Thatis what we do and that is who
we are. We are, Soshe's saying the individual was identified a suspicious
but not a threat. Guys, there's somebody walking around with a rifle and
a ladder. I mean Breitbart dotcom today reporting on the obvious effort to
(04:16):
protect impeached Department of Homeland Security DirectorAlejandro Majorcis because remember, this is really
his problem too, right. SecretService Director kimber Leach cheedle pretended to testify
yesterday before the House Oversight Committee. Her obvious assignment was to stonewall The only
reason she was there was to hidebehind quote ongoing investigations, and basically she
(04:41):
just refused to answer questions. Butone question that was answered is a total
bombshell. During her testimony, thehead of the Secret Service admitted that sometimes
radio communications between Secret Service details arerecorded, and then she said, but
we do not have radio commune indicationsfrom the day of the assassination attempt.
(05:02):
Huh. Really, let's understand somethinghere. First off, if this is
the same Secret Service that erased vitaltext messages around January six which was a
thing that happened. The Secret Serviceerased text messages from both January sixth and
the day before the attack on theCapitol after the Department of Homeland Securities internal
(05:26):
watchdog requested records of electronic communications tiedto what they called an insurrection. The
details about the erased messages were revealedin a letter to two congressional committees months
ago. Right, So that's interesting. That's the same Secret Services, same
people in charge. Note what Cheetlesays here, this is important. She
says that depending on the detail, radio communications are recorded. So we have
(05:50):
a former president who happens to bethe current favorite to be our next president,
and who is under a viable threatfrom Iran. Why in the world
knowing all of that, with theSecret Service not record or radio communications during
the detail? You know the answer, I don't even have to answer it.
And also, why aren't all radiocommunications recorded in the digital age?
(06:13):
This is so easy it's not difficult, it doesn't require an enormous amount of
inconvenience or storage space. And thisis historical. This is history. This
is also in this case of anassassination or attempt at assassination, crucial to
an ongoing investigation. You're telling mesome police officer in nowhere Iowa can record
(06:34):
everything with a body camera, butthe United States Secret Service, with its
eight billion dollar budget, can't recordradio communications when protecting the current front runner
for the presidency. Yeah. That'sa bunch of bs, isn't it.
This whole thing stinks. It stinksof a conspiracy and a cover up,
which is not something I say often. Okay, maybe it is, But
(06:54):
in this house, guys Oswald workedalone. The Earth is round, Neil
Armstrong landed on the Moon, puttingfluoride in the water. Isn't that big
of a deal to me. Idon't really care that much. But you
never hear me talk about that. But Kimberly Cheetle's testimony was outrageous in its
deflections and stonewalling. Her presentation wasindefensible, and it was suspicious. Cheetah
(07:18):
wasn't testifying about something like the breakdownof the Obamacare website. A former president
and the likely next president came withina millimeter of Evany's brains blown out.
And on top of that are thesegobsmacking security failures, none of which Cheetle
refuted. The Secret Service left aroof a mere four hundred and fifty feet
from Trump, unguarded completely in hisline of sight. To defend this jaw
(07:44):
dropping oversight, the head of theSecret Service lied with the excuse that this
roof was unsafe because it was toosteep. Well, then how did the
kid get on it? The SecretService denied numerous requests over two years to
add additional security to Trump's events. Why, in the days after the assassination
attempt, the Secret Service lied aboutnot denying these requests. The Secret Service
(08:07):
identified the want of the assassin asa threat at least an hour before Trump
took the stage. The Secret Servicespotted the assassin on the roof at five
point fifty one. The Secret Servicestill allowed Trump to take the stage at
six zho two. The assassin wasunmolested until six' eleven, and only
after he got off eight shots, one of which hit the next president and
(08:28):
missed, killing him by a millimeteror two and guess what a couple other
billets did kill somebody and seriously hurttwo innocent people. Either the Secret Service
is so inept it is clear andpresent danger to democracy, or the Secret
Service cooperated in a plot to getJoe to get Trump murdered. I mean,
(08:50):
I said that before we knew aboutthis radio communication thing. I'm more
convinced of it now. This isKenny Webster's pursuit of happiness. On KPRC
nine point fifty Houston, Chuck Schumer, the head of the Senate Right,
(09:11):
Senate majority leader, had a pleaseclap moment more than once. He made
an announcement about how Kamala is goingto be the next president, and then
he looked at the room and saidapplause, and then nobody clapped. I'd
play the sound for you, butit happened more frequently, repeatedly. But
apparently the Democrats are all in behindKamala. They're not going to have a
(09:33):
primary election, They're not going towait until the convention to vote on it.
Nope, Kamala is the person andthat's it. So now that the
process is played out from the grassrootsbottom up, we are here today to
throw our support behind Vice President KamalaHarris. I'm clapping. You don't have
(09:54):
to. No, we're not gonnaThe whole thing is so fake, isn't
it. Do you really think Ithink that behind closed doors, all the
grassroots Democrat Party members got together andagreed that it should be Kamala. Do
you really believe that? Don't overthinkthis, guys. Townhall dot com today
has got a report on how Republicansare doing exactly that they're overthinking Kamala.
(10:18):
They're worried that we're going to beperceived as racist or sexist if we don't
like her. Really, that's whatyou're worried about. You. Do you
really think at this point calling someoneracist or sexist still works? Does anybody
actually believe that as much as theboy who's cried wolfs who said that that
that still makes a difference. Neverforget what Tulsea Gabbard said about Kamala Harris
(10:43):
at the Democratic presidential primary debates intwenty twenty. Congresswoman Gabbard, you took
issue with Senator Harris confronting Vice PresidentBiden at the last debate. You called
it a quote false accusation that JoeBiden is a racist. What's your response.
I want to bring the conversation backto the broken criminal justice system that
is disproportionately negatively impacting black and brownpeople all across this country to day,
(11:07):
A Senator Harris says she's proud ofher record as a prosecutor and that she'll
be a prosecutor president. But I'mdeeply concerned about this record. There are
too many examples to cite. Butshe put over fifteen hundred people in jail
for marijuana violations and then laughed aboutit when she was asked if she ever
smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence. She blocked evidence that would have freed an
(11:30):
innocent man from death row until thecourts forced her to do so. Kamala
Harris blocked evidence that would have freedan innocent man from death row. She
didn't just want to keep an innocentman in prison, she wanted him to
die. As a leftist, howdo you get behind that, good lord.
She kept people in prison beyond theirsentences to use them as cheap labor
(11:52):
for the state of California, andshe fought to keep cash jail system in
place that attacks poor people in theworst kind of way. Thank a Congresswoman
Senator Harris, right, who careswhat Senator Harris has to say. So,
don't overthink this, guys. TheBiden campaign they're bleeding right now,
because that's what this is. It'sthe Biden campaign. They're done. They've
(12:15):
been pummeled by weeks of attacks fromwithin their own party and the news media.
They don't know what to do aboutthat. That's a that's an attack
from behind. That's that You guysare supposed to be on our side here,
what are you attacking us for?So the President hit his threshold,
he dropped out, and then heendorsed Kamala. Supposedly, many in the
(12:41):
party were anxious about this choice. They really wanted to get rid of Biden.
But it was ugly, he wasn'tit. And trying to make Kamala
seem like a good candidate that's abig risk because that requires you to actually
listen to her talk, and he'skind of a dummy. Even with a
completely fresh ticket. The wealthy, elite white Democrats and the extremely poor people
(13:07):
living in big cities all over thecountry are going to have a hard time
getting excited about a candidate who's completelyout of touch with what's going on in
the country right now. So let'smake a few points here on how to
prosecute the most effective case against Kamala. It's a bit ridiculous seeing people pretending
(13:31):
that Republicans are panicked over Biden steppingdown and Harry's taking over. There's a
lot of news stories about this todaytoo, Like Politico says Trump regrets getting
JD. Vance to be his runningmate now that he sees that he has
to go up against Kamala. No. A week or two ago, Trump
and JD. Vance said they wouldn'tschedule a debate for Vance and Kamala because
(13:52):
Kamala is not going to be thevice presidential candidate. And they were right.
So exactly what they said is nowhappening. Is happening, right.
Why would they be worried about that? They they said out loud, this
would happen, and then they laughedabout it. So Democrats are liars.
(14:15):
We're in the general election now,and the Democrats sustained why after lie about
Biden's conditions, they actually invented aword, cheap fakes. Remember cheap fakes.
We never never heard anybody say cheapfakes before. What's that? Well,
that's when you edit a video tomake it look like Biden's got dementia.
How do you do that, Well, you just take a video of
Biden wandering around on stage and tellpeople he's got dementia. Yesterday, we
(14:37):
talked about a video you could seeon our social media of Joe Biden talking
to a woman at an event thathe thinks is his wife. She has
long blonde hair, she's wearing ablue dress, and then Jill walks up
and interrupts, and he looks ather and he goes, oh, you're
my wife. The guy completely fellapart during the opening moments of the presidential
(14:58):
debate you just had with Trump. So they're caught in a lie and they
decided they needed to do over. The people who call themselves Democrats actually tried
to have their political opponent imprisoned andbankrupt, and then they tried to kill
him. I mean, that's myopinion. You're welcome to disagree. They
(15:20):
don't care about the results of theprimary. They have a system, do
they still do the super delegates? Some people in their political party get seven
votes and other people only get one, and they're the Democrats. Sounds an
awful lot like like Jim Crow Lawsor something, doesn't it The election results
from their primary would be discarded, and the man their voters selected to stand
(15:45):
for another term was relentlessly hounded outof the race. They lied to protect
him, you know, for thecause after all, and when the utility
of that lie expired, they tossedhim overboard. They nullified their own election.
So much for democracy, right,Democrats. So it's reasonable for Republicans
to react negatively to this. It'skind of ridiculous, but it's not a
(16:08):
freak out or a meltdown. It'san objection to more ruthless, dirty power.
Above all behavior by the Democrats.Overconfidence is the enemy. Kamala,
for the record, could win thiselection. I don't think she will,
but she could. For what it'sworth. You know, we didn't write
(16:33):
off Biden in twenty twenty, andfor good reason. Look where we are
now. Trump has strong polling andthat comes from a number of things.
The botched assassination, the botched attemptto debate Trump by Biden, But of
course, more than anything else,it comes from widespread onhappiness with the direction
(16:53):
of the country, something we're nottalking about on the radio much this week,
but we should be is that ElonMusk is moving SpaceX their headquarters to
Texas. They're leaving California, andthe reason they're leaving California supposedly has nothing
to do with taxes, It hasnothing to do with business regulation. He's
(17:15):
leaving California because he's bothered by thefact that they have a new law that
takes rights away from parents if theyobject to their child being a transgender.
Hmm. Now, those are allperfectly good reasons to be upset with California,
a state where Kamala Harris was therepresentative in the Senate for several years.
(17:38):
But a better reason to not wantsomebody from California to run the country
right now would probably be their recordhigh poverty rate, highest in the country,
record high unemployment, record high numberof businesses closing, record high number
of people fleeing the state. IfCalifornia is so great and Kamala is from
(17:59):
California, then why aren't people movingto California. This is Kenny Webster's pursuit
of happiness on KPRC nine, Houston. Do you think you just fell out
of a coconut tree? Do youexists in the context of all in which
(18:22):
you live and what came for you. I'm just living that life. It's
it's ketamine snorting club kids for Kamala. What does that mean? Okay,
this is the music of Charlie XCXwith a context with a montage of Kamala
Harris saying silly, dumb things sharttimes sometimes and she would say to us,
I don't know what's wrong with you, young people. Do you think
(18:45):
you just fell out of a coconuttree? Do you think exist? In
the context, Charlie XCX is apop star in England and she is very
popular with gay men and the nightclubcrowd. That's everything, right, like
a sort of a younger version ofMadonna but British. I don't know whatever.
But anyway, she took on toTwitter yesterday and she said Kamala is
(19:08):
brat and what that means is Kamalais cool and that's all it means.
But CNN didn't understand it. Sohere is a bunch of gen xers and
baby boomers trying to figure out why, all of a sudden, a very
small subculture of young people on Twitterare changing their profile photos green Kamala Harris's
(19:30):
too, because I guess it's thecolor of Charlie XCX's album, and they
think this is the thing that isgoing to motivate voters. Listen to a
little of CNN. For the record, I was tipped off about this what
I'm about to share with our voters, our viewers, rather by my sixteen
year old who is an actual memberof gen Z. Kamala Harris appears to
be leaning into this. The singerCharlie XCX tweeted last night Kamala is Brat's
(19:56):
and this is in reference to heralbum It's called Brat. Kamala has branded
her Kamala HQ Twitter page with thesame esthetic of the album. Let's another
gen Z word aesthetic. No,it's not. It's even becoming a trend
on TikTok special gen Z correspondent toJamie, what can you tell us about?
So? First hold on the genZ correspondent on CNN. This is
(20:17):
great. It is a geriatric. It's like a ninety year old woman who
is going to explain it to usnow for two minutes. I won't make
you listen to it, but anyway, says this happens. The Houston Chronicle
pops off with this social media postand an article to go with it.
Joe Biden drops out of race. Now Democrats could see an election bump in
Texas. And they go on tosay that the Senate race between Ted Cruz
(20:38):
and Colin Alrid is really a Senaterace between Cruise and Kamala because that's how
little faith they have in the DallasFort Worth congressman who's challenging Ted Cruz.
They think that Kamala Harris, KamalaHarris, and obviously the Charlie XCX fans
on social media, the Ketamine clubkids of London have what it takes to
(21:00):
flip Texas blue. Now, myfriend Brandon Wiltons is a little younger than
me. Brandon, are you azoomer? Uh no, I'm firmly in
the millennial camp. How old areyou? Thirty? Okay, so I
think you're right at the end.I'm an elder millennial. You're a younger.
You're a younger millennial, and you'reyou probably use the word brat all
(21:21):
the time in conversation, like thisburrito is so brade Brett, this bratt
that. Yeah, it's definitely partof the lexicon. Yeah, all right,
so look you the word cringe doesn'teven do a chestice here. I
mean, the Houston Chronicle thinks thatthis like club kids in other countries are
going to get Texas good old boysat their cowboy boots to start voting blue.
(21:48):
Yeah, I doubt it, right, And not only do I doubt
that that's going to happen in Texas. I mean, take Texas aside for
a second. Does anyone think thatthis is going to work in the states
that Biden actually needs to win.I mean, you could talk out,
you know, maybe Kamala will dobetter in Texas and maybe, you know,
Democrats will turn Texas blue the cycle, But I don't think if you
actually talked to a Democrat, Idon't think anybody actually believes it right.
(22:11):
They have actual states they need towin, and this isn't gonna play well
in the rust belt. You're gonnatalk it to you know, auto workers
about about you know, oh,well, Kamala is brat, and you
know I changed my profile picture toa coconut, so you know, vote
for vote for Kamla. This courtof stuff doesn't play well, and I
(22:32):
can't imagine that it will. Now. One of the fans of Kamala and
Charlie XCX here on social media.I'm looking at basically as saying Kamala is
the perfect person to be president becauseshe's just like us. Yeah, she
says stupid things sometimes and giggles toomuch, but she likes to party,
and she's the perfect person to runthe country. Brandon, I guess that's
(22:53):
supposed to appeal to people. Iguess it appeals to a certain set of
people, But I don't know, you appeal to the people they need to
appeal to. Look, you know, you know, it's hard to imagined.
Time seems to have like stopped becauseyou know, I'm thinking about just
a couple of weeks ago when wehad you know, Biden on the ticket
(23:15):
and pre assassination attempt. I mean, it seems like a million years ago.
You know, this race, youhave Democrats coalescing and rallying around,
you know, a guy who's eightyone years old, who's clearly not all
their senile and now you know, whiplast year happens, you know, two
weeks later, now, oh no, forget him, they dumped him,
(23:36):
and now we're supposed to act likeQueen Kamala is. You know, Oh,
she's great, She's who we reallywanted the whole time. But there's
a reason that they took their timein getting Biden off, and that is
because they were weighing the reality ofhaving to have Kamala on the ticket.
Now, whether or not that worksout, you know, I think they
made the decision that it was wortha chance to do a change because I
(23:56):
think they thought they had a zeropercent chance of Biden. But that doesn't
mean that Kammell is the greatest candidateeither. All Right, I got breaking
news this just in. I wasgoing to ask you about the passing of
Shila Jackson Lee, and we're notgoing to say anything disrespectful about her.
I think it's sad when anybody diesof cancer. But moments ago, another
person, another prominent black Democrat fromhere in Houston, who supposedly is cancer.
(24:18):
We've been told former Houston Mayor SylvesterTurner has confirmed with KHOU that he
is quote seriously considering a run forCongresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee's vacant seat. Now
I hate that I'm always right, but when Shila ran for mayor, one
of the first things I said was, I bet Sylvester Turner tries to run
for Congress, and here we are. Brandon, does any thoughts on this?
(24:41):
Does this surprise you? Yeah?I think that this is the kind
of seat that, you know, whenever you have these seats open up,
specifically one like this where there's notgoing to be like a real election per
se, likely for at least puttingher on the ball. I mean,
this is something that precinct chairs,Democrat precint chairs decide. This doesn't happen
that often. When it does happen, it's a pretty golden opportunity for people
(25:04):
who want an easy ticket into Congresswithout having to campaign for years. And
so I'd expect this will be attractivefor a few people. I know.
Sylvester Turner is one of the peoplethat we thought might enter this race.
Potentially you could see some others, but you know, not surprising that he'd
want to make that move. SylvesterTurner served before he was Mary, served
(25:26):
in the Texas legislature for quite awhile as well. Right, that's exactly
right. Yeah, he was astate lawmaker. And when Shila ran for
mayor, the argument a lot ofher supporters made was, well, if
Turner can become mayor, Shila canbe mayor. But Sheila is you know,
probably a little farther to the leftthan Turner was. I mean,
to that point, she never gotelected, right, she sounds too much
(25:49):
like a black nationalist, too muchof a Marxist. Is Turner a better
politician or was it just the rightplace at the right time. Yeah,
maybe a little bit of both.I mean, you think about I'm thinking
back to how Silvester Turner was atleast in the Texas House, and this
is somebody who was a big personbehind the budget, was somebody who was
(26:11):
working on those issues, very differentthan I think what our image is of
how Sheila Jackson Lely operated in Congress. And I think I'll just leave it
at that, all right. Solook, yeah, it is sad that
she died, But moments before shedied, Brandon, She's on like,
in the hours up to her death, someone is on her personal Twitter account
(26:34):
criticizing Donald Trump's speech, fundraising andcampaigning for Joe, bashing Republicans. That's
not what I would be doing ifI was on my deathbed in my last
hours of life. You know theequivalent of that for my politics, I
certainly wouldn't be bashing Kamala if Iwas on my death like, who spend
time with your family, But she'sprobably not the one writing these tweets.
(26:56):
And of course Joe Biden wasn't theone writing his tweets, and Dianne Feinstein
wasn't the one writing her tweets, and who's writing John Fetterman's tweets? And
it really begs the question, Brandon, how many of these people out there
are just filling a seat. It'sa walking corpse that is on death's door.
Mitch McConnell probably qualifies for this too, right, Yeah, Yeah,
(27:17):
there's a number of these examples,I would say, And you know,
they're not actually putting out their ownmessaging. They're barely coming in to vote.
You know, very little of theirjob is actually performed by them.
A lot of it performed by thepeople around them. I mean, I
think Joe Biden is probably the primeexample of that, right, And so,
you know, it is it isa strange thing. It's you know,
(27:40):
at a certain point, right,we were entering this this stage where
you know, you've got politicians tweetingthings, making their statements, but they're
not really the one saying that, and you've got other people telling you what
they said, and at a certainpoint, you know, you kind of
wonder, what is what are weeven doing? You know, who's actually
running the country, because it certainlyseems to not be some of the people
(28:04):
who are supposedly doing it, andthey're supposedly behind these twitter a gap,
I have to admit. Look,I'm as an elder millennial, I'm forty
two years old. I don't thinkfor most of my life I realized that
the politician that's assuming the office,at least in the Democrat Party isn't really
doing anything. They're just a face. They're just a name on a ballot.
(28:26):
Someone else is calling the shots. It's hard to tell how many of
them actually believe what they're saying, how many of them are actually making their
own decisions. But I've got toassume it's a pretty low number. Yeah,
I think it's a very low number. It's very easy, especially when
you're not fighting for anything, you'renot bucking up against the grant. I
(28:48):
mean, we can think of afew members, you know, specifically kind
of in the Republican Party, whoare people who have fought against the establishment
in one way or the other. That is a much more difficult job than
being somebody who just goes long toget along. Because if you want to
just go in and be a partystooge, you know, and not have
to think for yourself. Yeah, being in Congress, or being in the
state legislature, or being in anyoffice can be a pretty easy ride.
(29:11):
Brandon Walton's Texas Scorecard dot com.You should subscribe to their email list.
It's free. Some people pay forthe Houston Chronicle, Why do that?
Just get the Texas Scorecard, betterquality content a lot less cost. And
while you're at it, follow mybuddy Brandon on Twitter. Pursuit of Happiness
Radio. This is Kenny Webster's Pursuitof Happiness on KPRC nine fifty Houston,
(29:41):
so Milwaukee. I want to startby saying a few words, and I
could really speak at length, buta few words about our incredible President Joe
Biden. It has truly been oneof the greatest honors of my life to
serve as vice president to our PresidentJoe Biden. Joe's legacy of accomplishment over
(30:11):
his entire career and over the pastthree and a half years is unmatched in
modern history. In one term, think about it, in one term as
president, he has already surpassed thelegacy of most presidents who served two terms
in office. And how did hedo that by doubling the national debt or
(30:37):
what increasing the amount of crime inthe country more four times as many wars
as we were expecting to have rightnow, No, you got to hand
it. The guy's done. Great. That's Kamala Harris moments ago hosting her
first campaign rally since Democrats presumptive becomingthe nominee for the Democrats. And it
wasn't the only thing she said. She said, this campaign's not about Donald
(30:59):
try Trump. Then she keeps talkingabout Trump. But let's also make no
mistake. This campaign is not justabout us versus Donald Trump. Uh huh.
This campaign is about who we fightfor. And then she's going to
keep talking about Trumps, about whowe fight for, who we fight for?
(31:22):
Tell us who we fight for.Just look at how we are running
our campaigns. So Donald Trump isrelying on support. Wait wait, I
thought you said it wasn't about Trump. What are you Oh, it is
about Trump? Huh. She's alsorepeating her I know Donald Trump's typeline.
So, as Leah told you beforeI was elected Vice president, before I
(31:44):
was elected the United States Senator.I was elected Attorney General of the state
of California, and I was acourtroom prosecutor before then, okay, And
in those roles, I took onperpetrators of all kinds, children, illegal
immigrants, pot smokers who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers. But
(32:08):
enough about Bill Clinton, Am Iright? I mean, come on,
here's a question. Now that he'swhere he is, should Trump debate Harris?
Kamala Harris and Donald Trump at adebate you want to see it.
The Democrats just pulled a big switchon us, the guy rid of their
incumbent nominee mid cycle. And youknow full well if the polling was better,
(32:31):
if that debate had gone better,if Trump had died, Biden would
still be in that seat. He'dstill be their guy. But it doesn't
matter. He's gone now. Andsome people are already trying to frame this
as Trump is afraid to debate KamalaHarris because of this headline. Listen to
this. Trump may be laying thegroundwork for scrambling plans for another presidential debate,
(32:53):
suggesting that Fox News and not ABCNews, should be the host.
ABC News had been slated to hostthe debate Trump and Joe Biden on September
tenth, But now Biden's dropped outof the race, it's unclear whether those
plans will happen. Look, Ihappen to agree with Trump. We already
did a debate on a liberal newsnetwork. Can we have one on a
conservative news network? Now? Whydo you guys always get to be that
(33:16):
have the home field advantage every singletime? I don't have a problem with
Trump skipping a debate. His opponentsset the terms for the agreed upon debates,
and the first debate was such adisaster that it ended his opponent's campaign,
the person that won the primary. The Democrats want to assume cooperation with
(33:43):
their unprecedented du overplot. I mean, are you kidding? We have to
help you guys because you suck somuch. Here's how negotiation for debates works.
It's very delicate between these two camps. It requires an agreement on subject,
a venue, the moderators, thestyle of questioning, even the number
(34:04):
of seconds per answer that are allowed. Changing the candidate reopens negotiations because the
first debate has agreed upon is nolonger happening. It no longer exists,
So Trump said any time, anywhere. He said that about debating Joe Biden.
Trump believed he could beat Biden inany setting, at any time,
(34:25):
and he was right. He wasso right that now Biden is out.
It went so badly that it endedBiden's campaign. It's preposterous to suggest Trump
is somehow duty bound to participate inhis second debate against a brand new candidate.
I don't care if he debates Kamala, don't care. Wouldn't mind watching.
(34:49):
It'd be interesting. But at thispoint, we already debate. We
already agreed on a debate. Trumpalready agreed on a debate. And you
didn't like your candidate, you didn'tlike the person y'all voted on. Sorry,
try again in four years before wego. I always love to end
the show with a little good news. We need good news, we need
great news, we need excellent news. There's too much negativity on talk radio.
(35:13):
Here's a cute story about a policedog in North Carolina who helped get
a lost little boy home after someonespotted him walking down a road all alone
this month. The kids six couldn'ttell cops where he lived because he's autistic
and he's nonverbal. And a policedog found him. Here's Union County Sheriff
Public Information Officer Lieutenant James May talkingabout the canine Remy and how he helped
(35:37):
the little boy. That area hasgot hundreds, if not thousands of homes
and we're looking for one. Sopretty amazing that he tracked right up to
the doorway. Yeah, found hisway home for him. Pretty cool story,
huh. I'm Kenny Webster. Ilove you all. Thank you so
