Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Gigana government sucks. Suit of happiness. Radio is DeLux.
Liberty and freedom will make you smile of a suit
of habbiness on your radio tol just as cheezburgers lib rise.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton released a memoir. You can find
it at bookstores next to Hillary's book Staring at Monica
Lewinsky's book, I'm assuming, Hey, you know what I want
to do. Let's start off the show with this. How
many of you have heard this SoundBite? I won't play
the whole thing. I don't want to play it all
Morning Afternoon long, but here's Mika Brazinski and Morning Joe
(00:42):
telling you that they actually went to Donald Trump this
weekend and begged to be his friends.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from
so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply
dismayed by several of President Elect Trump's cabinet selections, and
they are scared. We expressed our own concerns on this
broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to
speak with the President elect himself. On Friday, we were
(01:10):
given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I
went to mar A Lago to meet personally with President
elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen
him in seven years now.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
We talked about a lot of issues, including mass deportation,
threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
We talked about that a good bit. And that's going
to come as no surprise to Aaron's time. Right here, Guys,
they went to him and begged to be his friend.
Listen to how Cina and reacted to this news.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
I'm amazing.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
I did not expect Hitler to get so many meeting requests,
first from Joe Biden, now from Mika and Joe. It's
amazing that literal Hitler is getting all these meeting requests.
And what it tells me, professor, is that all the
rhetoric that came from the left, from the Democrats, from
the White House, from Kamala Harrison, everyone else before the election,
all of the rhetoric, the fascism, the Hitler or the
(02:06):
Nazi rally, and it was all a bunch of bs.
Speaker 7 (02:09):
They didn't mean any of it.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
And if I were and if I were in the
Democrat sort of a Rebbels shoes, I would be looking
at all my leaders and going, did you just bs?
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Me for an.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Entire just rerep I'm amazed.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Positive right there, positive, right there, that's CNN. And now
that that guy talking, obviously is saying it in jest,
that's Scott Jennings, a reasonable person on CNN. I wonder,
I woner if Trump will give him a job. I
don't know, but Breitbart dot com is reporting today that
with the inevitable death of cable TV accelerating communications giant,
Comcast has decided to cut its losses and sell MSNBC. Wow,
(02:46):
I think we just figured out why Mika and Joe
had to go ask Donald Trump to be their friends.
Oh no, quote. Comcast Corporation today announced its intent to
create a new, publicly traded company compromised of a strong
portfolio of NBC Universal's cable TV networks, including USA, c NBC, MSNBC,
Oxygen E, Sci Fi, and The Golf Channel. The Golf Channel,
(03:10):
This is so awesome, Jim Kramer. Oh no, the mad
money guy's gonna be out of work soon. Also spinning
off into the new company are quote, the complementary digital
assets including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, Golf Now, and Sports Engine.
For now, Comcast is calling the new company spin co
spin cow are you kidding? Oh my god, here's what
(03:32):
Comcast will hold on to quote. The plan spin off
will also strategically position NBC Universal with its leading broadcast
and streaming media partners, including NBC Entertainment, Sports News, and Bravo,
which all power Peacock along with Telemundo. Apparently Spanish speaking
TV is still a good investment at NBC Go figure.
NBC is, of course the NBC broadcast network in the
(03:54):
film and TV studio Universal Studios. Now. Bravo originally launched
a nineteen eighty is an upscale performing arts network. Now
it's reality TV. They deliver programming that's cheap to produce,
things like Real Housewives, Top Chef, Project One Runway actually
get millions of viewers. As much as I don't like Bravo,
they do make insane profits. So Bravo is vital to
(04:16):
Comcast streaming platform. They're not going to get rid of that.
That's Peacock. That's the mothership right now, not only because
it's programming is popular, but because Peacock subscribers love to
dig in and binge those shows. So why is Comcast
dumping the rest three reasons? Stock price is number one
Number two is stock price, and I bet you could
guess what number three is now. Cable TV is dying.
(04:38):
It is a slow death, one we've been talking about
on this radio show for years. They predicted the end
of talk radio a long time ago. Weirdly, our industry
is still growing. More people are canceling cable and satellite.
They're moving to streaming. These cable channels are losing value,
They are decreasing. They are hurting the parent company's stock price.
If they hold onto these assets, the good ones, the
(05:01):
valuable ones like Bravo, and dump the dying ones, their
stock price is free from the drag that is. I
don't know. MSNBC, for example, No, for about a half
a century, Hollywood somehow convinced one hundred million American households
to pay a fortune for TV channels they never watched.
It's true, right, cable's been around for decades. You probably
had cable for decades. Did you watch I don't know.
(05:25):
Let me think of an example of your CNN. Did
you watch ESPN? I bet you watched one of these channels,
maybe Comedy Central, maybe MSNBC, maybe MTV. But remember you
paid for all that you paid for Bloomberg. Have you
ever turned on Bloomberg? You paid for it. You paid
for it for a long time. The most obscene part
is that, whether you watch it or not, you're subsidizing
(05:46):
hate outlets like CNN and MSNBC to go ahead and
tell their audience that people like you were hitler. A
piece of your monthly cable bill goes directly into their pockets.
CNN could not survive in a merit based system. Too
many people watch CNN for it to make any real
Too few people watch CNN for them to make a profit,
(06:07):
So they subsidized. They're programming with affirmative action cable bills
every year. This is called a carriage fee. You pay
for it. One more reason millions and millions of people
are canceling their cable packages is the insane amount of
free programming you now get through streaming. If you have
a Roku box, if you have high speed internet, you're
(06:28):
blown away by all the free stuff. Pluto, free v,
Roku TV basically free versions of cable TV with fewer ads.
There's news, there's sports, there's classic TV, there's binge channels
of newer shows, true crime, media, movies galore. Why would
anyone pay for any kind of TV that has advertising
in twenty twenty fours beyond me, especially when you can
(06:49):
listen to the radio. It's never too early to learn
that the government is a greedy piglet that suckles on
a taxpayer's teat until they have sore chapped nipples. Suit
of Happiness Radio on a KPRC.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
Count one malice murder. I find the defendant guilty. Count
two felony murder. I find the defendant guilty. Count three
felony murder. I find the defendant guilty. Count four felony murder.
I find the defendant guilty.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
YEP.
Speaker 8 (07:28):
Count five kidnapping with bodily injury. I find the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
How about it?
Speaker 8 (07:34):
Count six aggravated assault with intent to rape. I find
the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Amen my bride has.
Speaker 8 (07:41):
Count seven aggravated battery. I find the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Lincoln Riley's murder of Count.
Speaker 8 (07:47):
Eight obstruction or hindering all I find the.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Defendant guilty, get him, let's go.
Speaker 8 (07:56):
Count nine tampering with evidence. I find the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Came up, execute him.
Speaker 8 (08:02):
Count ten feeping tom I find the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Wood Shipper Woodschipper for this scumbag.
Speaker 8 (08:08):
I long Sota will allow both to look at this.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
If you want to do it, sure, guy, take a
lot of scumbag, unbelievable athos chargia just happened. Guys here,
I'm gonna turn this down for a minute. That is
the judge in the Lake and Riley case. Lake and
Riley's murder has been convicted on ten criminal charges. This illegal, alien, criminal, scumbag,
(08:36):
murdering rapist, absolutely vile example of a monster of a
human being, will be sentenced now now faces the wrath
of the American Justice Department, not just an American justice department.
But you know, Liz, say what you will about Brian Kemp.
This happened in a red state, and now we're gonna
have Donald Trump as our president. It is reckoning day,
(08:57):
my friends, for people like Lake and Riley, Joscelyn Nungary.
We want justice. This is not okay. You know that
man may be going to prison now, and hopefully he
gets the death penalty. I don't know what kind of
prison sentence he gets, wood Chipper, I think would be appropriate.
He can rotten hell for all I care, or at least
rotten prison. But you know there are two other people
(09:19):
that are partially responsible for this. I know it's not
fun to point it out, but one of them is
currently sitting in the Oval office and the other one
was at least for a while, pretending to be the
borders are Daniel Turner's here for power of the future. Daniel,
it is about time today. As awful as this is,
it is a good thing this story ended the way
(09:39):
it did.
Speaker 7 (09:41):
It really is, and it's tragic. And your heart goes
out to the Riley family because even though justice will
be served, that doesn't bring their beloved lake In daughter, sister,
friend back. But there's a reason why we vet people
who come into this country. And of course this is
gonna be as Hey, look, guys, you need to calm down.
(10:03):
Not everyone who's in this country as an immigrant or
as a migrant, not everyone as a bad person. And
there's no doubt that's true, sure, But what is true
is we don't know. But we don't know who they are.
And there's a reason why we vet them and the
reason why we stop them and say, why do you
think you deserve to come to America? What's your background,
what's your purpose? Where are you going to stay right.
There's a reason why we defend our borders is because
(10:25):
we don't know who the people are. And when you
offer this mass everyone's allowed who are just going to
close our eyes? You do have the bad apples fall
through the cracks. And you know what, the ones who
really are just looking for a better life are going
to get sucked up in this and that's tragic for them.
But I'm sorry, that's too damn bad, right, because this
(10:49):
is what happens when you have chaos, and when you
try to clean up chaos, there are going to be
some big sweeping motions and a lot of people who
had no ill intentions are going to get caught up
in that sweeping motion. And that's a necessary thing to
get back to a true stability, national justice, national integrity,
(11:10):
border control, etc. So the tide is turning, Kenny, and
it's a good thing.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Sometimes people that are really into politics will use the
pendulum as an analogy to describe America going to the
left of the right, and they said, ah, the pendulum
swinging back to the right. Now. It never feels like
it swings as hard to the right as it does
to the left, But thank god, it's going back in
that direction. President elect Donald Trump is sending a message
that military troops will probably be a part of his
(11:36):
border security plan and play a role in mass deportation operations.
He has promised this during his campaign, and earlier this
week he confirmed using his truth social platform that he
is apparently in agreement with Tom Fighten, president of the
conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, indicating Trump would use the
military to reverse the Biden invasion through mass deportation programs,
(11:59):
and Trump said, true, I absolutely well, he seems to
agree with that point. Look, I don't have an issue
with this. I know some other people will. I got
to think this gets challenged in court. But reckless policies
deserve bold responses. I don't know what else we can
do at this point, Daniel, And you know.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
They've deliberately created this problem exactly to change demographics in
this country, but also knowing that if you let enough
people in, the problem of deporting them is going to
be so hard and so unpleasant for the American people
that maybe they won't get deported. And I've been saying
(12:40):
this a lot, even before President Trump won. We have
a bitter pill that we have to swallow, and there
are going to be, especially in your area. I mean,
I'm in rural Virginia. Yes there are a good number
of illegals, but I'm in the country. For those of
you who are in Houston, you're going to see it, right,
And you're going to see the images on the news
of a family and the mothers crying and the kids
(13:01):
are screaming, and Ice is putting them on a bus.
And people are going to say, is this really who
we are? Is this what it means to be a
Christian nation? Is this what it means to be Trump supporter?
And they're going to try to make you use your
values against you and say, you know what, maybe we
were wrong, Maybe everyone illegal is allowed to stay. That's
going to be a hard pill to swallow, but we
(13:22):
have to swallow it. Right. We cannot afford to have five, ten,
fifteen million people sucking off of the government teap We
can't afford it. Right, It's not fair, it's not just.
It's not just our genuinely poor Americans or our Americans
in need who's aren't being attended to because we're diverting
(13:44):
resources to illegals. Look at what FEMA announced when they
said we have no more money from North Carolina because
we blew our budget on people who snuck across the border. Right,
so we have a bitter pill that we're about to swallow.
And I guess what I'm trying to get at is,
don't let your ress all be shaken because the media
and they're bad people. The media is going to try
(14:05):
very hard to make you feel bad about yourself. This
is going to be non stop on the news. Bra Trump,
people ruining families, et cetera.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Get ready, I agree with most of what you just said.
I do feel like, and you know, I'll take it back.
I agree with all of it, but I feel like
there are at least some people in the liberal media
who get the hint. I did the math on this earlier, Daniel,
and I mean, we knew Trump did well, but did
you know he got almost sixty percent of the electoral college.
I mean that's a we know he got the popular vote,
(14:35):
we know he got more than and we know that,
but like, if you look at the just the raw
numbers of how our elections work, the guy was almost
at two thirds of the votes there as far as
the electoral college goes. And so yesterday Mika and Joe
over there at Morning Joe The Morning Show on MSNBC.
They had to begrudgingly walk with their tail between their
(14:55):
legs and admit that they're trying to be friendly with Trump. Again.
I won't play the whole sound but here's a little
of it.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from
so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply
dismayed by several of President Elect Trump's cabinet selections, and
they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns
on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the
opportunity to speak with the President elect himself.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Why would they want to talk to Hitler, Daniel? And then,
of course now they go on in that SoundBite to
explain that they went, we went tomorrow lago and we
told Trump we don't like the policies. These are two
of the most dishonest, shameless people in the entire news media,
and now today we learn why they did this. Daniel,
apparently Comcast wants to sell MSNBC.
Speaker 7 (15:44):
Yeah, isn't it remarkable? How you know just a couple
days ago, it's two weeks Kenny. The election was two
weeks ago. Today it's been two weeks and so two
weeks and a day ago he was hitler, and now
it's hey, look, let's all come together. Look at smiling
Joe Biden before he got lost in the Amazon right
when he greeted the President in the Oval Office. Look
(16:07):
at the photo op he took with Jill standing on
the on the White House lawn saying we're gonna work together.
Look at the media Joe and Mikas saying, you know what,
We've been calling him hitler for two years, but you
know what, it's time to turn the chapter. President Trump.
I gotta tell you, he put out on Twitter yesterday
or on his own platform, a statement that he will
(16:28):
give second and third chances. He wants to heal wounds.
And I said, you are way more magnanimous than I am,
mister President, And you know what, that is his job
as the president. He should be trying to heal wounds
and unite. Joe Biden said he was going to and
he divided us further. No one divided us more than Obama. Right.
So I give President Trump a lot of credit because
(16:50):
I got to tell you, Kenny, if I were him
and I had just one I would find unity through
through through revenge and through vengeance and through so putting
people in their place right and lawsuits and the New
York Times, and I would be taking the Nick Sandman approach.
Remember he was the young kid who was smiling at
the Native American that everyone said was a white supremacist.
(17:13):
And he sued CNN, sued the Washington Post. No one
knows what he settled out of court for I would
be Nick sandmanning these people. I would be owning the
Washington Trump Times and the New York the New York
Trump Times, and I'd be owning all of these organizations.
If I were Donald Trump, I give him a lot
of credit.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Oh yeah, what if they had to change the acronym
for MSNBC so the M stands for Matt Gates Yesterday
Yesterday on the View, It's hard to believe that Whoopy
Goldberg isn't even the worst person on the View, as
horrible as she is. Sonny Houston, I won't play the
whole sound by because I want to hear what Daniel
thinks of it, and I know a lot of people
have already heard it. On our morning show. Sonny Houston
(17:52):
basically comes out and says, yeah, Matt Gates can't be
attorney general. He's a rapist, and he's it's sex with
an underage girl and all this terrible stuff. And then
three minutes later she reads a legal disclaimer basically saying, yeah,
there's no proof that any of that stuff's true. I
got to think there are lawyers running around the set
of ABC right now telling the hosts of the view,
(18:12):
you guys got to walk it back. How else do
you explain what happened on that show yesterday?
Speaker 7 (18:18):
New sheriff in town and libel is not going to stand.
And you know what, Tim Poole said something that I
thought was brilliant and we should all be saying how
much does the cost of you? And I hired a
private investigator and we said we're going to investigate random
person for money laundering. And now we can say, well,
you know what, he has been investigated for money laundering.
(18:39):
And that's all they've done. The FBI makes an announcement
we're investigating Matt Gates for X. They could do that
to you and me. They did it to Brett Kavanaugh
and now forever and ever and ever, it's well, you know,
Daniel Turner was investigated for being a Russian spy. So
let's do that, Kenny. Next time we have someone we
don't like, we'll hire a PI for a thousand bucks.
(18:59):
I'll pay haf you pay half, and we'll investigate that
person for ex charge and forever we can say, well,
you know, Bill Johnson, he has been investigated for whatever
crime we're throwing at him.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
You know, John Cornyn was investigated for making a tofu
soy vegan brisket. I don't know if you heard about that. Hey, Juli,
do you want to go have these with me on MSNBC.
I think you and I could if it's If it's
as valuable as I think it is, I'm pretty sure
you and I can afford to buy it.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
Yeah, we can have our own network, and we can
have another version of the view where to keep their contracts.
They have to listen to us talk and anytime they
pipe up, we say, ladies, ladies, calm down, men are
talking right, and we'll pay them double. We'll pay them double.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Daniel, I just had such a good idea. You know
who we need to get. We gotta find the person.
We need the same person to evaluate how much msn
NBC is worth. Who evaluated how much mar A Lago
was worth during that I'm an old tase against That's
where's the judge from that case who said mar al
Lago's worth teddies on the dollar? Well, I want him
to analyze and evaluate how much MSNBC is worth. Then
(20:09):
I can afford to buy it by selling a couple
of bitcoins.
Speaker 7 (20:13):
These are all the creative things that the left have
been doing to us forever and now and now we're
we're we're we're leveling the playing field. It's not revenge,
it's not vengeance, it's not pettiness. It is leveling the
playing field. We are in a rut, We're in a
hole in the ground, and before we can get to
the ground, we got to dig ourselves out and we
got to get some even ground. And so yes, let's
(20:34):
do all the creative things they have done to us
for years to level the playing field. New sheriff in
Town and it's going to be a great.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Day, Daniel Turner. The website is Powerthefuture dot Com Go there,
stop to the government.
Speaker 5 (20:48):
Started listening to on Proceeeds of Happiness Radio with k
Websurgitia aka producer.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Kenny Tom Calm Down, Calm on punk Rockey. We're not
going to punk rock right now. No, this is AM
News Radio. We're gonna talk about the news. Gosh darn it,
Gollie g will Okers, you better put down your spiked
wrist bracelets or whatever you're wearing. I don't know, combat
boots probably, I hope speaking of combat boots, I really
hope Daniel Penny is. Let go Daniel Penny, the marine,
(21:19):
good Samaritan. I'm just telling you what was in the
police report. Why is this guy on trial for murder?
This is insane. The forensics pathologist actually admitted she changed
the report about why Jordan Neely died after she saw
the video of him being put in a choke hold.
That's not how science has done. The forensic psychiatrist, whom
(21:41):
Manhattan prosecutors asked to have barred from testifying at Daniel
Penny's subway chocode trial, revealed on the witness stand yesterday
that Jordan Neely had been hospitalized more than a dozen
times for psychotic episodes and smoking synthetic drugs before his
death on that Manhattan train. The mental health breakdowns included
(22:01):
delusions that rapper Tupac Shakur was using him to change
the world, and that he heard the devil's voice. Now,
Daniel Penny, on the other hand, he's a twenty six
year old marine veteran. He's an architecture student. He's fighting
the charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. Did you
know that he was actually awarded He got a humanitarian
(22:21):
award back in twenty eighteen for helping people out during
a hurricane for crying out loud. Guys. This forensic psychiatrist's
not the forensics, not the pathologist, but the psychiatrist is
a professor at NYU and the New York Medical School
as an expert witness for the defense. Previously worked at
(22:43):
Riker's Island, which is the same jail where Jordan Neely
screamed about returning to before Penny put him in a
chokehold when he started making death threats on a Manhattan
subway car. If Daniel Penny has found guilty, God help us.
I hope Donald Trump gives him a pardon. Prosecutors unsuccessfully
tried to have the psychiatrist blocked from testifying because they
(23:06):
thought it would make Jordan Neely look bad and make
Daniel Penny look good. Imagine that. There's a reason why, guys,
because Daniel Penny does look good and Jordan Neely was
a nut job who was trying to hurt people. Throughout
his manslaughter trial, Daniel Penny has been stoic. He has
been disciplined. He has been emotionless, never cracked a smile,
(23:28):
never a frustrated grimace. His posture is so straight you
could hang a painting flush against his back. That's how
he was reported today at the New York Post twenty
six year old man hanging out there, former jar head
you know the marine right told cops he put Jordan
(23:48):
Neely in a neck lock there to protect the other
people on the train. They have now released his first interrogation.
Speaker 7 (24:00):
On the text party on the sect of the game.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Kid, this is where you at right now?
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Cool?
Speaker 2 (24:06):
How I'm doing Yes, very good, very good. One, I'm
doing well. I did yer the Marine Corps. Oh nice,
I said my little death before disa nice. Well you're
he's saying, he says, you served in the Marine Corps.
I served in the Marine Corps. I have my death
before dishonored tattoo right here? What you doing well? Was Minimore?
I was in three fifty one I was a old
(24:28):
three thirty one. Oh cool, she got him.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
Weapons with military So I don't know what that stuff is.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
That's like language third time six Marines.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Okay, there you goes, there's such ninety six to two
thousand floats.
Speaker 9 (24:41):
Did my thing, and then I ended up heating. Now
I've got close to twenty two years.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
You know, man, good pension. He is bonding with the cops.
The cops like him. They could tell he's a good guy.
They know that. The reason why they pressed charges against
him wasn't because the cops thought he was guilty. It
was because Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney who's tried
to take down Donald Trump, is also trying to put
an innocent man in prison. I would, I assume, for
(25:06):
the crime of being a white American patriot. The video continues.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
I go up in Queens as well.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Nice, that's a good day anyway, listening, So we want
to talk to you about what happened today.
Speaker 9 (25:19):
Sure, no, thank you for staying around being cooperative.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
As anyway, Before we speak to you about today, we
have to read you your rights.
Speaker 5 (25:29):
Journey absolutely, so I'm gonna read you your rights after
each question, and I say do you understand say yes
or no?
Speaker 7 (25:34):
One allowed to play voice.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
You gotta say yes or no. You can't just like
not your head, I hear it.
Speaker 9 (25:38):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Daniel Penny nothing but cooperative during the process. Here he
acts and speaks like a good Samaritan, speaks to the
law enforcement with a very polite tone in his woice.
The mistake he made is he spoke to him without
a lawyer. Guys. Never talked to law enforcement without a lawyer,
even if you know you're innocent, even if they're asking
about the weather. Never talked to cops without a lawyer.
(26:02):
Did they ever tell him he was under arrest. It
sounds like they're treating with the Miranda rights like a
policy disclosure. What if the cops did their jobs so
the rest didn't have to protect other people from criminals
in places like New York City, that's the reason why
this happened to him. Just amazing how this is going down. Guys.
(26:25):
I don't know about you, but when I heard the
forensic psychiatrist testify that Jordan Neely had been hospitalized for
psychotic episodes over a dozen times and was heavily abusing
drugs and was threatening to hurt people on that train.
I heard all I needed to hear. Daniel Penny wasn't
trying to hurt the guy. He was trying to protect
other people, and the guy that wanted to hurt people
(26:45):
died in the process. Whatever your take is on this
whole thing, if you can't see how Daniel Penny deserves
to be a free man, I've got to assume you're
either anti American, you're racist, or you're just biased. This
guy psychiatrist reviewed thousands of pages of Neelie's medical records
dating back to twenty fifteen. Why did he have thousands
(27:07):
of pages of medical records because he was a danger
to society? Why did Daniel Penny get a humanitarian award
for rescuing people and hurricanes? Why was he a marine
because he was a good samaritan. I don't know what
else you need to hear here. Guys, we live in
a country where we know, on a regular basis, innocent
(27:28):
people are getting hurt on the streets. How do we
know that? We see videos of it all over social media.
There's no shortage of videos of people in public places,
surrounded by witnesses, being violently attacked. And what do you
always think when you watch those videos, I'll tell you
what I think. I think, Wow, why isn't anyone doing anything?
This is why no one does anything. This is why
(27:49):
nobody steps in and does something, because when they do
in places like New York City or Austin, Texas, whether
you're talking about Daniel Penny or Daniel Perry, look that
case up. If it wasn't for Republican leaders in this
state or in this country, we would be putting Good
Samaritans in prison all the time. I don't want to
live in that country. You're listening to the Pursuit of
Happiness radio. I guess it's not available in Canada. Happy
(28:14):
birthday to President Biden. Biden turns eighty two today, which
is crazy. He doesn't look a day over mammified to me.
I can't wait until they bring out his cake and
George Clooney asks him to step aside and let Kamala
blow out the candles. Isn't that usually how this thing works?
You know, we're not done here yet. This after there's
a lot of news happening around the state and around
the country. And I mentioned earlier in the show this
(28:36):
news about Lake and Riley. But look I think this
is a pretty big deal. Lake and Riley, a young
woman went for a morning jog. Thirty minutes later she
was dead. Now this isn't a Texas story, it's a
Georgia story. But I think most of us would agree
anything having to do with illegal immigrants murdering people and
all kind of comes back to the Texas border, didn't it.
(28:57):
This woman was in Athens, Georgia, two years young, running
along there back in February, with her iPhone broad her
smart smart watch, noise canceling air pods along for the run,
and her house's ring camera footage captured her wearing the ponytail,
black jacket, black leggings, white sneakers. Just looks like a
regular twenty two year old girl going out for a jog.
(29:20):
And then she meets Jose Abara, age twenty six, and
apparently he has just been found guilty. People have to
understand in America, we're not going to tolerate this anymore.
Thank God, Donald Trump is incoming. Tom Homan is going
to be your new borders are even Christy home. As
much as you may not like her murdering dogs, you've
(29:41):
got to admit she'd probably be a pretty good. Department
of Homeland Security secretary. Here are this take on all
the news. My buddy Brandon Walton's from Texas scorecard dot com.
Brandon down at the office there, You guys must be
talking about this quite a bit.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Yeah, I mean, this is pretty big and it's amazing
how quickly they were able to work. I guess they
didn't really have much of it defense forum and so
that helped expedite things. But I mean, this murder just
happened earlier this year, so it's nice to see that
some justice is finally being brought in this case. And yet,
you know, this Lake and Riley story has gotten a
lot of headlines, deservedly, but it's not the only case, right,
(30:18):
I mean, it's not even an outlier. Unfortunately, we see
case after case of illegal aliens murdering Americans, you know,
even right here in Texas. Right we talk about the
Joscelyn nunger A that the child who is murdered by
illegal aliens, and there are other cases as well, and
it's just a reminder that every single one of these
crimes is a preventable crime, right when it's committed by
(30:40):
an illegal alien who's here illegally and who's here because
of the Biden Harris administration's embrace of open border policies
and their absolute failure to deport these people.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah, and on the topic of Joscelyn Nungary, the suspects,
we believe there are Venezuelan gang members. It certainly looks
that way. Members of Trend de Arragua, a group that
Governor Abbott has categorized as a terrorist group, which was
responded to by the media with a little bit of
you know, pushback if you will. But I would say
(31:13):
they meet the definition of a terror group. I mean
it may they may not be white supremacists or Muslims,
but narco terrorism is terrorism too.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
Right, absolutely, and has taken a lot of lives, right,
you know, more so than many of the other groups
that we would consider terrorist groups. I mean, they're right
in line with there. And so that was a great
action from the governor. He took that. I think earlier
this year, maybe it was late last year, I can't remember.
Your time is sort of especially with the election this year,
(31:43):
seems a little bit like a construct. But you know,
in any case, you know, declaring this group a terrorist
organization and actually using DPS to go after them is
such a great start, but it's going to be so
refreshing come January whenever we have a federal government that's
not only helpful. We're past the point where the federal
government has just been unhelpful when it comes to stopping
(32:05):
the invasion at our southern border, but they're actually helping facilitate.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
All right, let's talk a little bit more about Governor Abbit.
You know, I'm a critic when he but at the
same time, I'm just calling balls and strikes. When he
does something I like, I will praise him. Governor Abbot
issued an executive order earlier this week directing to the
Texas Department of Public Safety to target and arrest people
trying to execute influence operations on behalf of the Chinese
(32:30):
government to return dissidents to China. Apparently, Abbot's action is
in response to Operation fox Hunt, to Chinese government initiative
that is intended to root out corruption in the country,
but in practice has also been used to intimidate Chinese
citizens living abroad and harassed Chinese pro democracy activists, even
forcibly repatriate dissidents and government officials. In some cases, I
(32:52):
am told that just this week, weren't there forty political
prisoners in Hong Kong, That all they did was protest
against commune and they're going to go to prison now
for decade. We'll probably never see them again. I got
to imagine their bodies are going to be used for
medical experiments pretty soon. Governor Abbott taking action here against
Chinese influence in the state of Texas isn't getting a
(33:13):
ton of attention right now on the national scale because
there's so much going on in the news. But I
think it's certainly worthy of some more attention. Brand And
this seems like a big deal.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
Absolutely, And you know, you talk about the people who
go missing in China, this is actually goes even beyond that.
These are people who go missing abroad in other countries
where China apparently sets up these you know, these police
units abroad. And in fact, it's been you know, confirmed
that the United States has at least six of these.
(33:44):
One of them in New York was shut down relatively recently,
but there's estimated to be about six of them, and
one of them, by the way, being in Houston, is
alleged to be in Houston in Texas. Yeah, these outposts
of the Chinese Communist Party that are being used to
intimidate and maybe even you know, basically kidnap as Chinese citizens,
(34:05):
bring them back to their country and we'll never see
them again.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
That is interesting. What else do we know anything else
about the Houston location? Look, there are lots of Chinese
people in Houston. This is the most diverse city in America.
And as a lot of our listeners probably remember, not
long ago, the Chinese consulate under President Trump was shut
down when it was revealed that it was actually a
spy hub where they were stealing COVID medical research from
(34:29):
the Texas Medical Center. I couldn't imagine they would stop,
especially when Trump left the office and was replaced by
a guy who appears to be very friendly with China.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
Yeah, I mean, it appears that this is continuing to
go on. I mean, there's only so much we know
about this, obviously because of the sensitive nature of a
lot of this talking about espionage and that sort of thing.
But the fact that this could be happening in Houston
is a concern. And yeah, I remember when they shut
down that consulate. It wasn't there like a oops, a
fire in the office. You know, some documents got burnt up,
(35:05):
got destroyed. Right, So yeah, no, yeah, there's no kidding
around when it comes to what they're doing here in Texas.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Hey, real quick, a little bit of local news to
Houston today. Some people have called this a replay of
twenty twenty two. We have Harris County election results suddenly
flipping a Republican judicial election to a Democrat. And apparently
the Harris County Elections Division showed that Republican Michael Landrum
had defeated Democrat Nicole Purdue. But now they just discovered
(35:36):
an extra eight hundred votes, so that's going to go surprise, surprise. Surprise.
Feels a little familiar to me. Meantime, former Harris County
Public Health director charged with a felony, and Harris County
Judge Lena Hidalgo says that Barbie Robinson was falsely accused.
She did nothing wrong in that bid rigging scheme, even
(35:56):
though I think we all kind of know she. It
certainly seems like these people are guilty. For those that
haven't followed this news story, the members of the Lena
Hidalgo team are accused of rigging a bid on a
COVID vaccine outreach program that should have gone to the
University of Texas but instead went to some lady living
above a bong shop in the Montrose neighborhood. And I
(36:17):
say that in jest, but actually that is kind of
the equivalent of what happened here. Kim Ogg outgoing district
attorney doing an investigation here, pressing more charges. You had
pointed out, it looks like Seawn Tier's gonna win. But
that doesn't mean that this just because the Democrats are
taking away the position of district Attorney from Kim Ogg,
doesn't mean that Lena Hidalgo's team is necessarily off the hook.
Speaker 5 (36:39):
Right, No, not necessarily. I mean you remember earlier this
year she referred a lot of this to the Attorney
General Texas Attorney General Ken Paxson's office, and so you know,
those investigations look like they will continue. And it's so surprise.
I mean, we're continuing to see these cases of corruption
coming out of coming out of the county government, the
(37:03):
Harris County government, and in many of it coming from
Lena Hidalgo's office and people who worked under her. And
it's not just her, You've also got a Houston Housing
Authority president just recently resigned. I mean, you've got a
lot of this sort of corruption happening in Houston, and
you go to the elections, and isn't it amazing that
(37:24):
none of these I mean, I can't remember a time
that one of these elections where vote came in weeks
later swung the race towards the Republican candidate.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Can you pro I mean, Brandon, that is such a
good point, and I think we're all thinking that. But
I'm glad the way you articulated it. Why is it
whenever there's a problem with elections, it always seems to
benefit the Democrats every single flipping time. I'm kind of
getting sick of hearing about it, Brandon, but look, this
stuff deserves attention. I'm glad you guys are covering these stories.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
Absolutely. I mean, this just goes to show typically when
it comes to elections. Look, I think that Texas and
a lot of states have made progress, made some significant
progress this time towards election security, especially as compared to
four years ago. But you know, stories like this just
show that the O there's more to be done.
