Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jack gannon government sucks. The pseudo habit is radio is DeLux.
Liberty and freedom will make you smile of a suit
of habbiness on your radio. Toel Justice, cheeseburger is a
liberty rise.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
At Apollo thirteen, Commander Jim Levell died.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Famous last words he said, well, they weren't his last words.
His famous words were Houston, we have a problem. I
gotta think those words live on whenever anyone watches the
Houston Texans.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I'm Kenny Webster. Thanks so much for turning on the
radio this afternoon speaking of Houston and having a problem.
In the next segment, Joseph Trimmer joins us. Joseph work's
at Texas scorecard dot com. He's an undercovered journalist recently
went undercover with a bunch of Antifa extremists here in
the Houston area. He claims they're planning an attack on
ICE agents. He has an audio recording of himself reporting

(00:57):
this to the Houston Police Department and they did not care.
We're going to talk about it in the next segment.
Stick around for that. Also here this afternoon, Christo from
Wheelchairs for Warriors dot org. We got big news coming
up October fifth. That's a Sunday. We are going to
be doing another comedy show to raise money for wheelchairs
for warriors. It is so important to us. Before we
get to any of that, Miranda Devine just published a

(01:19):
report at The New York Post about law Fair, and
it's something I think we all need to acknowledge. Donald
Trump is turning the tables on the Democrats. These people
spent years trying to weaponize our government and now they're
being held accountable. And I guess the left's response is
to call this fascism. No one's above the law. They
told us that over and over again. That was their

(01:40):
favorite refrain. They loved saying that. They kept saying no
one was above the law as they rifled through Milania
Trump's underwear drawer. They threw everything at Donald Trump. They
manufactured intelligence. They wanted to frame him for the Russian
Gate conspiracy. They invented They weaponized the FBI, They weaponized
the doo jay. They weaponized a lot of DIA's offices

(02:02):
around the country. They impeached Trump, they tried to kill him.
Unscrupulous prosecutors went after him. They tried to jail him,
they tried to bankrupt him, and all they did was lie.
All they did was assassinate his character. Of course, they
tried to assassinate him too, more than once. Didn't. They

(02:22):
didn't work, though. Sadly for the Democrats, Trump's Democratic deep
state persecutors failed spectacularly. They decimated their own party. They
destroyed the reputations of the intelligence agencies and the mainstream
media allies that helped to push this hoax. What did
it get him? A lost election? There's a saying that goes,

(02:44):
if you come for the king, you'd best not miss now.
Accountability is afoot. They love saying Trump is a king.
Of course, Donald Trump doesn't quite behave like one, does he.
Last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed Pitbull lawyer Ed
Martin as a special at need to lead investigations of
New York Attorney General Letitia James and California Senator Adam

(03:05):
Scheff for potential charges including mortgage fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud.
Those all carry lengthy jail terms of up to thirty years.
Grand jury's in Virginia and of course Maryland weighed criminal
indictments against the two anti Trump Democrats over allegations they
falsely prepared property documents and secured favorable loan terms. Uh oh.

(03:31):
The New York US attorney is also reported apparently issuing
has been issued subpoenas in a separate civil rights investigation
into Letitia James that included her office, and they claimed
they violated rights in a lawsuit against Trump that she
brought against him. Letitia sued Trump, She sued his children,

(03:52):
She sued his businesses. Dozens of times. She ran for
office vowing to take on Trump. She called him an
illegitimate president. Meanwhile, Adam Schiff abused his position as House
Intelligence Committee chairman. He wanted to manipulate and distort intelligence
to damage the president. He created false narratives about Trump's
connection to Russia, to Ukraine, and of course that led

(04:13):
to his impeachment. Adam Schiff has been the most enthusiastic
Democrat to use the phrase no one is above the law.
Now he's about to find out the hard way that
in a sense he was right, wasn't he. It's interesting
how Director of National Intelligence Tulsey Gabbert has spent months
extracting documents from hidden reaches of the intelligence agencies. She's

(04:37):
declassified them. Of course, This was against the wishes of
the embedded deep staters that the CIA and the FBI.
Their ruse was to redact documents to the point of indecipherability.
Too bad, though, Taulsey went to the White House to
overrule those resistant gorillas and successfully exposed the truth about

(04:58):
Russia Gate. In Obama's role as the ring leader. We
now know that December ninth, twenty sixteen, was the day
when Obama directed as national security officials James Clapper, former DNI,
former CIA director John Brennan, former FBI director James Comy,
and a long list of others to create intelligence, false

(05:21):
intelligence with the foregone conclusion they all knew wasn't true
that Russia had influenced the twenty sixteen election to help
Trump win. Now here we are, reality is kicking in.
I understand a lot of people are still upset about
the Epstein files. I am too, but this still matters.
These people tried to rig an election. Hell, they tried

(05:41):
to do it twice. They tried to put our political
leaders in prison. Of course, the reason they did that
is because they didn't want us to have any power.
When they go after Trump, they're going after you. When
they go after you. They're going after your children. So
in a sense, any tack on the Trump Party the
Republican Party is an attack on you in America itself.

(06:02):
I'm grateful to see we're finally doing something about it. Obviously,
the Trump administration isn't perfect. But I'm also not naive
enough to believe that in America there's ever more than
two decisions. There are only two decisions when you're voting
Blue team and Red team. I'm pretty sure I know
which one I could trust, and well, I guess it's
neither of them. But I know which one I trust less,

(06:24):
that's for sure. If I were you, i'd stay put, Kenny.
You'll be right back with more of what you came for.
Far jokes. A new study claims that smartphones are ruining
our brains at unprecedented speed. The study consisted of Joe Biden.

(06:47):
I think that's what they did in other news researchers.
This is awful. I'm so sorry. In advance, researchers say
sexual activity activates more brain regions than puzzles. All right, great,
but I prefer Grandma and Grandpa stick with Sudoku when
I visit. I mean, that's just me everybody. Hi, welcome
back from Bray. Good to be here with you. If
you were out on the road with us this weekend,

(07:09):
maybe you saw us in Denham Springs, Baton Rouge, or Hattiesburg.
Thank you so much for coming out to our sold
out comedy shows this weekend. It was very awesome. We
people keep asking when's the next Houston show. It is
October fifth. That's Sunday, October fifth at Bad Astronaut Brewing Company.
In between now and then, we have more shows in
Waco and Memphis, so we'll keep you posting on all that.

(07:29):
But in the meantime, we have problems in Houston, Texas.
You remember, not long ago a group of over a
dozen Antifa like extremists stormed an ICE facility and what
they did there was I mean, you heard about it
on the news. They opened fire. It was what you'd
call an insurrection. And similar thing happened to a CDC

(07:50):
facility in Georgia over the weekend. Someone opened fire on
government a cop died. I mean, it's really you know,
you could say that, oh, it's just people that are
mad at Trump. No, they're killing people. This is seriously bad.
Someone needs to stop them and if your response to
that is, while I live in Houston, what do I care?
They're doing it in Houston too. Okay, nobody's died yet,

(08:11):
but the early information, the intel we're receiving, seems to
indicate something has been planned here. There's a group called
the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Now, to be clear,
they haven't committed a crime yet, but a group of
people met together at a recent meeting and talked about
how they were going to target ICE operations in Houston.

(08:34):
I'm not going to suggest that they're guilty of some
crime that hasn't been committed yet, but it sounds like
they were planning something pretty bad. Joseph Trimmer is an
undercover journalist for Texas scorecard dot Com, and he did
exactly what his job title suggests. He went undercover with
cameras to expose these people. What he learned is that
they're teaming up. They're partnering together to go after federal

(08:57):
agents for the crime of upholding the law. Yesterday, literally yesterday,
I was on a call at Memorial City Mall because
there were a report of six.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
Icy Jentso that's where we think the real auctioner used
to get organized because.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Our enemy is really organized. I'm gonna pause it right here.
They're talking about literally yesterday, I was on a call
as someone at Memorial City Mall and they weren't even
at the Lolo Lemon. They were planning an attack and
they were going to go arrest llegal immigrants, so we
got to stop them. I called Joseph Trimmer from Texas
scorecard dot Com to ask if this was really as
crazy as he describes, and well, Joseph, is it.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
Well, it's certainly alarming behavior.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
As you said, I.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Want him to cover at the meeting organized by the
Party for Socialist Socialism and Liberation, and they're in partnership
with a coalition of left wing nhos called Houston Leads.
Houston Leads is who is hosting uh and managing the
network of volunteers.

Speaker 6 (10:03):
Very interesting.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
One point to make about that is there are NGOs
that are part of this coalition.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
That Harris County.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
Our tax dollars have gone to fund by the millions
and millions and millions of dollars, like Baker Ripley, who's
a member of this Houston Leads coalition, among all of
the worst of the worst, they're all there and.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
You you know, you fund them through county business. And
it's kind of outrageous that, you know, here we have.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
A organized there's a lead dude here in Houston saying, Hey,
my buddy's in California. The psl over there organized this
group over there. They have five hundred, five hundred volunteers
and they successfully they've successfully prevented illegal aliens from being
a arrested. He specifically mentioned the platform in California, Ventura County, where,

(11:06):
according to this organizer caught an undercover video his friends
confronted ICE agents, resulting in illegal aliens not being arrested
and deported that would otherwise have been. He says he's
modeling his efforts in Houston after that, which is extremely concerning.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
As we know, the Donald.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Trump had to deploy the National Guard to protect ICE agents,
and a lot of people don't know that in Texas
that is also happening. National Guard members are already embedded
with ICE operations keeping security. So what is extremely like, So,
so what these people will face when they actually go

(11:54):
and target in mass an ICE operation is they're gonna
find a whole bunch of federal officers backed up by soldiers.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
And somebody's going to be arrested or shot. And it's
on outrage that they're allowed to do this completely in public,
and the authorities don't seem to care, don't don't seem
to be doing anything about it, and worse, our tax
dollars are funding it.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Yeah, I mean that is pretty wild. And you called
the ICE agent, you called the ICE tipline to explain
this to them, and they were pretty accommodating, weren't they.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
Yeah, the ICE agent seemed concerned.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
He was very polite, very welcoming. You know, he appreciated
the information. After all, we're saying your guys are being targeted.
So you know it, had that gone a different way,
that would have been its own news story.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Of course, you.

Speaker 6 (12:53):
Know, I hadn't testedized tip line before, so you know,
it was kind of a test also, but it it.
You know, he took the report and said he was
going to afford the undercover video to his ICE friends
in Houston. So hopefully somebody can do something about this,
because it's it's you know, people risk here of legal consequences.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
In fact, this in the undercover video, one of the
organizers says that by doing what they're doing that without
a doubt they will be confronted by law enforcement.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
And so.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
I don't know what else I can do.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
Who say, I mean.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
I'm doing the job of the police right now in
some weird way. It's like, guys, this group was announced
in public in front of the ICE the Tension Center
cour Civic. That's how even new this was happening in
a protest that was surrounded by Houston police officers. So

(14:04):
excuse me, they probably already knew about it, and they
hand out all of these two R codes saying please
join our group. So I scanned it and joined, and
that's how I attended the meeting. And there were no
Houston Police Department officers that I could tell. Maybe they
were undercover as well, But based on what happened when

(14:25):
I actually called the Houston Police Department to report this
and get a comment from their media line.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
I don't think they give uh, you.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Know, one care about this.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
In fact, they I don't know, I don't know. It's disturbing.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
You should maybe look at that clip because it's a
it's bizarre. It's disturbing, And we just gave these people
a raise, like a not a small race, like we just.

Speaker 7 (14:54):
Some police Department.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
You know, we praised Mayor.

Speaker 6 (14:57):
Witmer for his fearless leadership on this.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (15:02):
All right?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Well, let's listen to a little bit of the audio.
This is you calling the Houston Police Department.

Speaker 8 (15:06):
I don't know what you're saying. What you sent to
wire your tenancy.

Speaker 7 (15:09):
Well, I sent an email to the mayor to the
police chief. So you're saying.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
That the police emails, but I can't see what their
email is. Well, if you want to, if you want
to speak directly to the city, you're going to act
city company. You have to reach out to the city
of Communications director.

Speaker 7 (15:32):
So the Houston Police Department is not interested really in
if ICE agents are being targeted or physically assaulted, or
if this group is operating in Houston. It's really not
your job.

Speaker 8 (15:46):
HPD. Focus is on Primes Committee in the City of Houston,
all right, And anything has the ad to do with
immigration and ICE. You have to reach out to the
ICE about the full comment.

Speaker 7 (15:59):
But but if so, Houston Police would not protect on
ICE agents.

Speaker 8 (16:03):
We don't comment on.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
What what is?

Speaker 8 (16:05):
What is? Uh?

Speaker 4 (16:07):
What?

Speaker 8 (16:07):
Maybe we comment on a five straight five? And again
I can't asklepation.

Speaker 7 (16:13):
I've sent you, and I've sent you a video showing
this group saying they're targeting eyes physically to attack them
here in Houston.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I'm gonna pause it right there, Joseph. I got to
think if the roles were reversed, if I said information
about how gang members were going to attack Houston Police Department,
I would assume they'd want to know about it, right.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
I assume that the federal government would step in to
protect the Houston Police Department if this situation was reversed.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Yeah, it's pretty crazy, Joseph. I want to I want
to invite you in studio later this week. I know
you're doing work on this. You've gone undercover. We have
we're on the radio right now explaining this to tens
of thousands of people around the Houston area. We have,
you know, on a good day, we have over one
hundred thousand people listen to this podcast. I am shocked
at the fact that this is so many people know

(17:06):
about this and nothing is getting done. It's not like
your reach is and a Texas scorecard has a lot
of readers. Is there nobody out there that cares? Can
you come in later this week and do an update
on this. I want to know more about your work.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Look, I am happy to do that. It is an
outrage the video, the undercover video on my Twitter account,
my x account must have like two hundred and.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Fifty thousand views.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
So there's no possibility here that the CD leadership hasn't
seen it. In fact, I would bet that the state
leadership has seen this.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
It's not you know, some of the FEDS.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
That's a lot of views.

Speaker 6 (17:44):
For And not only that, I tagged all of them
in the in the report, so yeah, they know.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Wow, Joseph Trimmer, Texas scorecard dot Com. We're gonna keep
covering this story throughout the week.

Speaker 9 (17:57):
Coming up more Kinney Websters person Suit of Happiness, a
safe space for those who love liberty and try not
to take themselves too seriously, even if your name is Karen.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Coming up in a little bit, Crystal from Wheelchairs for Warriors,
stopping buying but first come help. But notice rookie quarterback
Shoulder Sanders had a pretty good weekend, excited the Browns
fans a very impressive debut Friday in a win against
the Panthers. But when you look at the average size
of a Cleveland fan, I still got to think their

(18:33):
favorite Sanders is the colonel? Is this a spoiled, pampered,
narcissistic Hollywood bratt or what? Two men just got arrested
for throwing sex toys onto the court at a w
NBA game. It was pretty easy to figure out who
they were because there weren't that many people at the game.

(18:56):
It's the WNBA. Nobody goes all right. So I was
looking at report today at Breitbart dot com about Hollywood
and AI and screenwriting. You remember a while back, all
the writers in Hollywood got together. They protested. They said,
we don't want you to use AI to write movies.
The problem is that some of the movies Hollywood cranks

(19:16):
out are really boring in formulaic. It's just the same
thing over and over again. Look at, for example, your
average Lifetime movie around Christmas time. It's the same thing
over and over again. You've seen every one of those
movies before. There's nothing creative about it. The far left
Los Angeles Times published this story on Friday, and they
asked if Hollywood can survive the rise of AI. It's

(19:40):
not good news, at least not for all the Hollywood
crybabies who think they're so uniquely special that unlike the
rest of us, they should be inoculated from progress and automation.
What you were about to hear is the future. It
has always been the future. Nothing stops the future. The

(20:00):
future will arrive much sooner than you think. Listen to
this quote. Dream Machine debuted last year and points towards
a new kind of movie making, one where anyone can
make release great footage with a few words. For example,
if you simply tell it that you want to see
something like a cowboy writing a Velasi raptor through Times Square,

(20:23):
and it builds the scene from scratch, feed it a
still photo, and it brings the frozen moment to life.
Dream Machine's latest tool, modify Video, was launched in June.
Instead of generating new footage, it redraws what's already there.
All you have to do is load up a clip
or a photo, then you describe what you want changed,

(20:44):
and the system reimagines the scene. A hoodie becomes a
superhero cape, a sunny street turns snowy. A person transforms
into a talking banana or a medieval night So how
it works, it actually gets a little more terrifying than
that guy. There's no green screen, there's no visual effects team.
There's no programming code. You just ask, just ask the

(21:05):
software and it does it. As of now, we've got
limited computer power, so these AI generated clips max out
at around ten seconds. You think they're not going to
figure out how to get around that. The average shot
in a movie is only eight seconds. The company's ultimate
goal is to create a world of fully personalized entertainment

(21:26):
generated on demand, where two hours of video can be
generated for every human every day. That'll happen. It'll be
the end of Hollywood as we know it. No more studios,
no more visual effects departments, no more actors, no more composers,
no more massive crew of people handling sound and electric
and lighting and food and cameras and makeup and wardrobes

(21:47):
and hair and YadA, YadA YadA. No more best boys,
no more gaffers, no more distribution bottleneck. Anyone with a
vision will soon be able to bring that vision to
life for the price of an Internet connection, which they
already pay. If you don't believe me, if you find
that ridiculous, you're wrong. The music industry proves this. This

(22:08):
has already happened to a music business that's been reduced
to a handful of superstars like Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
This is what the music industry used to look like,
buried in superstars. Today's industry is shattered into tiny pieces,
so lacking and universally appealing music acts. Those in their
late seventies and eighties are still mounting the most lucrative tours.

(22:30):
Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Elton John,
They're still on tour. They're still racking in the highest
amount of ticket sales. So if what happened to the
music industry is about to happen to Hollywood, what can
Hollywood do to protect itself? Nothing? Well, okay, there is
this one thing, write better movies. Hollywood can only survive

(22:54):
in a world where everyone can do what it does
through great writing. Will never replace the human condition. AI
will never replace the soul, that thing that no machine
can duplicate, the spark of inspiration. Humans will always be
necessary to craft great stories. So the good news for

(23:15):
Hollywood is that writing a compellable, compelling, memorable story is Okay,
it's difficult. It's very difficult. Very few people do it well.
Those who do work harder than most are willing to work.
The truth is for the cost of your monthly internet bill,
you radio listener will soon be able to sit down

(23:36):
and use all the tools Hollywood currently has that it's
disposable at its disposal. Sorry, I threw out my back
a little bit ago. In him I just took some
pain peals. I'm starting to notice that they're taking effect,
and I bet you guys noticed too. I don't throw
out my back much. It hasn't happened to me many
times in my life. I didn't work out for a
few days. Normally I work out a lot, and then

(23:56):
yesterday to compensate, I ran a lot when I got
home from doing a little comedy to Earth with Jesse Payton.
I mean, I'm so grateful for you guys for coming
out and watching us do comedy this weekend. But all
I did for two or three days was tell jokes
and drink energy drinks and eat taco bell And then
yesterday I went to the park after I got home
and I ran around, ran about nine miles. Got up today,

(24:19):
came to work, sat down in a chair, stood up
through my back out. I could tell you that that's
because I'm getting old. But this happened to me when
I was younger too. It's not like it only happens now.
It's just very it hasn't happened in a while, I guess,
is the truth. So anyway, that's what I'm dealing with
right now. But as for Hollywood, Hollywood's problem is anybody

(24:41):
will soon be able to do the thing that they do.
With effects and production and a little bit of imagination.
You'll be able to recreate Jurassic Park or Star Wars
or whatever it else it is that you may want
to do for the cost of your monthly bell. You'll
be able to sit down and use all the tools
Hollywood house. But if you can't construct a fascinating plot

(25:06):
populated with compelling characters and drive it all home with
you relatable themes, you got nothing. You got the same
pile of crap that Marvel and Star Wars are producing today.
Hollywood has survived for a long time, and it survived
for a long time for one reason. The cost of
producing movies and television was so high it remained prohibitive.

(25:29):
You couldn't go out and make Jurassic Park in the nineties.
You didn't have millions of dollars, You didn't have an
effects team. You didn't have writers and actors, and you
get the point. That's changing now. Pretty soon you'll be
able to do all this on your iPhone. That advantage
is being ripped away. And once that advantage is ripped
away by artificial intelligence, Hollywood's only option will be to

(25:53):
corner the market on great writers who know how to
tell a story without that, artificial intelligence will become Hollywood's napster. Sorry, kids,
it's happening whether you like it or not. Like a
date with Bill Cosby, it is happening no matter how
much you don't want it to. Hey, it's me the Donald.
You're listening to the Pursuit of Happiness radio voice gigs

(26:17):
all right. A woman had to be rescued by firefighters
after getting her arms stuck inside a game at a
check E Cheese in Burbank, California. That's kind of scary,
but still, I got to think the greatest danger a
person at a checky Cheese ever faces is eating the pizza.
I'm just assuming, Hey, before we run, I have a

(26:37):
friend on the line. In case you didn't know, over
the weekend, me and Jesse Peyton were touring around doing
comedy shows around the South. We were in Mississippi and Louisiana, Hattiesburg,
Baton Rouge, multiple sold out shows, hundreds of people at
every venue, packed house, over sold each venue. And you know,
part of it is that we're very funny, but also
we were out spreading the good word about Wheelchairs for

(26:59):
Warriors dot com. I think that is a noble cause
that people are excited to hear about. We have a
comedy show coming up exclusively to raise money for them.
October fifth is a Sunday. We're going to be a
bad Astronaut brewing company. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
You guys are gonna want to be there for that.
We'll have details about that very soon. I think Chad
Prather among other people, will be performing. It should be

(27:21):
a real good time. But in the meantime, I have
Krystal from Wheelchairs for Warriors on the line right now,
and Krystal and I were just looking at some of
the things happening in the World War on every corner
of the planet and no shortage of disabled military veterans
out there. It's very sad. But then when you tell
the story about Wheelchairs for Warriors spreading a lot of
good makes you feel a lot better, doesn't it. Crystal?

(27:43):
How are you Ben? You were just telling me about
one of the oldest veterans that you ever served. Who
was that?

Speaker 10 (27:50):
A World War Two veteran that we served a couple
of years ago who lived in New York. And we've
just got a request to serve another World War Two
veteran who is ninety nine years old. He is about
to be one hundred, and he needs a very lightweight wheelchair,
and he doesn't live in Texas, and we don't have

(28:12):
the funding for his particular state. So if anybody wants
to donate for Georgia, let me know.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
It's really cool what you guys do because you're based
out of Houston, Texas, but y'all are helping out military
veterans all over the country, young old male female. I
don't know if you know this off the top of
your head, but who's one of the youngest veterans you
ever helped out?

Speaker 10 (28:36):
One of our youngest veterans was in his early twenties.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Oh wow, what was his name?

Speaker 6 (28:43):
Eric?

Speaker 3 (28:44):
And what happened to Eric?

Speaker 8 (28:47):
Eric?

Speaker 10 (28:48):
He was on the July fourth Bridge in Iraq. He
got blown up. His whole unit got blown up there.
The war going on over there, you know, and so
nobody died, which was remarkable that he lost his left
leg and he got the left side of his space
shattered and his arm shattered. And so when he you know,

(29:08):
he wakes up in Germany, he gets better, he goes
to his mom's house. He's living with his mom, and
the wheelchair that the VA gave him weighed about fifty pounds.
It was too wide to fit through the doors of
her home in Houston, and so Eric reached out to
wheelchairs for Warriors, and he likes the Marines. You know,
we're a quick response team, so we went in, helped

(29:29):
him out, moved on.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
Well, that's incredible one of our good supporters. It's my
understanding y'all have been having some some budget issues recently,
maybe a sign that the economy is not as great
as we hope, Tom.

Speaker 10 (29:43):
It is a sign that the economy is not as
great as we hoped. It's also a sign that there's
a lot of need out there right now. A lot
of money is going as well it should to Curville
flood victims and things like that, and as well it should.
But also that leaves us, you know, with a with
a deafist that and we have on our waiting list
eleven I think it's right out. Eleven veterans and first

(30:07):
responders waiting for wheelchairs. And the dollar value of that
is one hundred and thirty eight thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
My god, boy, I'll tell you what, Crystal. When I
see that the condition these guys are in when they
come home is as bad as what's been described, and
then you consider that our federal government, state government is
very little to help them out, it's a real miracle
to think you guys exist. I mean, we need charities
like here is to do this work. Crystal. It's so important.

Speaker 10 (30:36):
It is certainly a miracle that we exist, because I
couldn't have thought of it on my own. So it
was all God. It's God led, God ordained, God inspired
all the things. And for us to continue for nine
years like we have is just all by the grace
of God and by every single person who donates. And
this is by every single person donating. We do not

(30:58):
get money from the federal go There's.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
A lot of reasons why people end up on your
recipient list. Some of them were injured in the line
of duty, some of them were training at the time,
a lot of them from Iraq and Afghanistan. And of
course now we have new wars in places like Ukraine.
They say, they say there's no boots on the ground
in Ukraine. I know that's probably not true. Of course,
they said that about Yemen as well, and then we
learned there's a secret CIA prison there. What's what's the

(31:23):
latest on this. You've got new people coming home from
war and they need help as well.

Speaker 10 (31:27):
Huh, that's right. And you know some of the new
things that we're finding out. People are coming to us
and our mission is injured in the line of duty
and delayed or denied care by the VA because you know,
last week, a couple of weeks ago, I think we
had eleven thousand dollars in the bank. That's not enough
for us to be the first place that people come

(31:48):
to for assistance, just because we're easier and the VA
takes so long. And yeah, yeah, YEADA. Our goal is
to be able to have enough funding that we can
be the first place you come to and we don't
need to worry about have you gone to the VA,
have you gone there first? But what we're seeing now
are people who are severely injured by the vaccine that
they were forced to take.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Wow. How interesting. Wow, I mean it makes perfect. So
the latest day is that Trump and RFK Junior are
cutting off funding to a lot of that mRNA stuff.
And I know that's controversial, but as you've just pointed out,
it's causing problems for people.

Speaker 10 (32:26):
Yeah, we have two very young a female and a
male in their early twenties who just will walk and
just pass out. We're perfectly healthy, fit enough to get
into pass boot camp and serve their country and then
everything's going swimmingly. And then, just like your children, you
take them to get vaccinated and they have autism, you know,

(32:50):
so it's kind of the same thing they're having. Well, look,
I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on Instagram,
but Mytochondria something there.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Yeah, yeah, that thing. And yeah, the heart disease. Yeah,
that's really sad, Crystal. That makes me so sad to
hear that. I'm sorry that military veterans are dealing with that.

Speaker 10 (33:14):
It is very, very bad. And so anyway, so we're
dealing with that. We took that issue to the Board
of Directors for Wheelchairs for Warriors and they approved that
we could serve them now, no, there is the approval
to serve them as injured in the line of duty
is one thing. Now we just need the funding.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
But there is good news. If people want to come
out and support you guys at wheelchairsfo Warriors dot org.
It's not hard to donate, is it.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
It's so easy to donate. I will be standing there
with my handout. It will be super easy to find me. Also,
you can just go to the website Wheelchairs for Warriors
dot org. There is you can legacy giving, you can
think about us in your will. You can and you know,
donate cash. Do a monthly touch twenty two twenty two

(34:05):
bucks a month. That's a monthly recurring donation. You even
get a little gift with that. There's all sorts of
ways to donate.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
All right, Well, we don't have tickets on sale yet,
but the next big event is going to be Sunday,
October fifth at the Bad Astronaut Brewing Company. We will
put those tickets on sale soon. It's going to be
me Chad Pray, through Jesse Payton, Steve Johnson, and maybe
some other comics. It'll be a fun night of right
wing comedy. We want everybody to be there in the meantime, Krystal,
I love you so much. I hope people do go
to Wheelchairs for Warriors dot org and make a donation.

(34:35):
I got to run. We'll be back braying early tomorrow
morning for more of what you bought a radio for.
Right here on KPRC nine to fifty, you.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
Are listening to the pursuit of this radio.
