(03:07):

things, You've worn so many hots, and you're juggling them at the same
time as well. It's it's amazinglike, where do we begin with you

oh my god, let me lookat my notes because I don't know

(03:29):
where to start. You have somany things. What a lot of coffee
right here for sure. So sonow you gave us a bio. We
asked for a bio. We alwaysasked for a bio from our guests.
I mean, now the beginning ofthe bio, it's gonna it says this.

(03:49):
Lauren has been traversing the realms Ilove that the spirituality for over fifteen
years. Now I'm going to yourbook now, Dark moon Light Discovering your
World with Magic, Pysticism and theParanormal available on Amazon, folks, I'm
telling you it's a great book. Now you mentioned there you investigated alone.

(04:11):
I just want to put this outthere really quick, just because he's what's
that also also a wonderful read everybody. It's available on Amazon, just so
you know, support your friends always. Okay, I'm so sorry, absolutely,
And that's you investigated alone for somethinglike fourteen years. I want to
like, why alone so traversing therealms of spirituality? I wasn't necessarily paranormal

(04:40):
investigating so it's been sort of hereand there with spirituality, whether it was
either yes, sort of exploring myhometown in the areas. I you know,
one year, I did like ahaunted tour throughout my town where I
did all of the research on theplaces that had you know, sorted history,

(05:00):
and then we did a fundraiser eventwhere I took everybody around the town
and we did a walking tour.It was really cool. I lived in
an old apartment building that was haunted, and I sort of I've always been
into just making people like come withme and do crazy things. So I
get everybody in the apartment building togetherand when we'd investigate the building. But

(05:21):
also it was like practice spirituality.I you know, I had a few
reiki attunements. I studied yoga inIndia. I So I've always been on
this sort of search for answers tothe things that we can't necessarily find answers

(05:44):
to with regular normal things. Sothe paranormal was just kind of like weirdo
pipeline to paranormal is just it's gonnahappen no matter what. I love that.
So with all that, I meandoing that alone, I mean in
fourteen years worth greatest moment, greatestexperience, creepiest, freakiest, weirdest moment.

(06:08):
Greatest was traveling. I I likedwell, so I don't like to
say I do it. I mean, I guess I have been Oh gosh,
I jeez man. I was alonefor a lot of my I traveled
a lot by myself. I itwasn't that I didn't connect with people.

(06:30):
I think it was just sometimes wehave to do a lot of our biggest
growth and our healing by ourselves. We can't expect other people to pick up
the pieces. We really have tolearn that these vessels are the only ones
that we get, and we're incharge of taking care of them. So
a lot of my journey was,you know, by myself. And I

(06:50):
have you know, people in myfamily. My sister and I are really
close, so there's always been peoplearound, but doing a lot of the
figuring stuff out was always alone.Greatest moment definitely getting the chance to just
drop everything. I literally dropped everything, emptied my bank accounts, bought a

(07:10):
plane ticket and went over to Indiaand I stayed there for a month and
got my I wanted to get myyoga certification, so I'd been saving up
and I found out that getting youryoga certification in the United States just going
was less expensive than flying to Indiato do it. So I was like

(07:32):
f it and just dropped everything andwent. So that was one of the
greatest moments because I had never reallyleft my hometown. I moved to Pittsburgh
and that was the first time Ihad ever left the place that I was
born and raised. So that wasa crazy mind thing. Ended up meeting
people there and that's what brought meover to India. And I'd been to

(07:53):
Israel, and I went to Ireland, and I went to Germany and so
I ended up doing a lot oftravel and a lot of discovery. Yeah,
to just sort of open up thislike whole new existence. And it's
a very privileged thing that I wasable to do, and that's not accessible
to everybody. So I'm I'm I'malways very cognizant of that. But that

(08:15):
was my greatest moment was just havingthe opportunity to do that. Scariest moment
was flying to India by myself.Wow, that's an honest answer. It's
terrifying. I noticed with your list. I mean, if it's got eye
in front of it. I thinkyou've been there across the globe at this
point, India, Ireland, Israel. Oh wow, that's kind of funny.

(08:39):
Yeah, traveling alone is really scary. It's it's kind of terrifying and
being a woman too, going tocountries where sometimes you might come across people
that a Western woman isn't the mostwelcomed. So yeah, now, small
villages, No, the place thatI studied was the most amazing place in
the universe. I think a lotof people will say, like if you

(09:00):
go to just any any small placein the US is very like welcoming,
depending on where in the US.But same thing, you know, if
you go to another country, findthe small local places. Don't don't go
to the commercialized places. They're wild. But we were in a sort of
a small area, lived in anashram for an entire month, and it

(09:22):
was the most just incredible, welcoming, family like atmosphere, completely disconnected from
so much of the world. Soa lot of my life changed in that
sort of early twenty you know, mid late twenties. I turned thirty in

(09:43):
Rishikesh, India, Like, whothe fuck can say that? Oh,
I don't know if I'm allowed tocuss or not. But but yeah,
so I didn't answer any of yourquestions that you just asked. No,
it was great, No you did. Actually all of that happened. There's
a lot of self discovery, thescary, a lot of the scary pairanormal

(10:05):
stuff didn't happen until that's the morerecent when I I really didn't enter this
field as the field that we're allin the shows the like this. Two
years ago. Before that, Ihad only you know, hunted places in

(10:28):
my hometown, did a couple ofthings by you know, by myself who
I thought, and I never reallyentered that public sector of this paranormal community
until I joined Tricy ghost Hunters, which you joined up two. Yeah,
And that was the first time thatI was like, and this might seem
because of course we all see theshows, but that was the first time

(10:50):
that I was like, holy shit, there's a there's a ton of people,
like real people into this stuff.Yeah, this is this is crazy.
And because I was never able togo to to Waverley and and and
OSR and the places that are soexpensive to get into, I was just

(11:11):
I was, you know, ghosthunting my friend's house because his door closed
and he was like, well,do you want to come over and check
this out? And I'm like yeah, sure. So I've never been to
these big places because I could neverafford it, she says after she went
to India because I traveled, Ihave no money. I was poor.
After that it was like heat, prey, love, bankruptcy. Yeah,

(11:35):
no, that's I mean, that'sI mean, it's amazing to be able
to travel around and to experiences aswell as gained the knowledge that you have
in and all the training you've had, like you know, like Greeky and
all that stuff. It's it's it'sdifferent because in different countries everything is so

(12:00):
different and people don't realize that thatbecause most of us are are are used
to the North American way. Butwhen you go when you go to these
other places, and I mean especiallyIndia where the pair normal is is quite
normal to them like it it's it'sso it's so amazing on how different it

(12:24):
is in different countries. So it'sgreat that you've got to experience all that.
So, I mean, that's that'struly amazing to say you even did
that, and you did it well, you know, like you said,
you catched it all in and justtraveled the world to gain a lot of
knowledge and to bring all that experienceback and be able to talk to us

(12:48):
about it is. I just wantto recognize some of the people who are
tuning in right now. We haveMatt Dolan, Matt Dolan, Lauren,
Christie Chris, thank you, ChristineDatas, Kim Sage, Rob, Rob
Palmer. Uh. We else wegot Miss Jenny Davis from Untered Pages.

(13:13):
I get to be I get tobe with Jenny tomorrow. That's right,
arn helexon everywhere. She's all over. That's it. She's taken over the
world. One show. Everybody fortuning in, Uh, Kevin, Kevin
McKenzie and of course Donna Roberts. We're all happy to have everybody here to
the s evening and joining us in. Uh. Talking to the lovely Miss

(13:39):
Lauren Hall said, uh, wegot to meet you this past year of
the at the m I Para Con, which is always an amazing event.
We we always walk away from thoseplaces like with so much more family members
because you know, it is amazingpeople that that attend that event. And

(14:01):
so I actually, I know I'mjumping ahead here by two thousand years.
I actually got to investigate with youa little bit. But OSR a place
that you're very familiar with. Now, OSR was a dream for me to
be able to investigate. It wasactually the first time I ever ever did

(14:24):
a prison. It was absolutely handsdown, non stop action. I would
say everybody walked away with something thatnight. Now. The reason why I
bring you up OSR because you werethere to help us all witness something amazing

(14:46):
that happened to Tim Shaw when wewere in the chair room. Now we
had Tim sitting in the chair, there was Frank and Heather sitting behind him.
There was my son Colby, Vanessaand Crystal from Black Moon Paranormal,

(15:11):
and myself. We were all inthis room and then all of a sudden
I could hear you outside the doorbecause you had this static the static electricity
thing going off. And at firstI'm like, going, what is that?
Oh wait, I know what thatis. And then I was like,

(15:35):
so I want to hear from youwhat you experienced the channeling that Tim
went through, because we were alltalking about that honor the Paranormal round table,
and it was absolutely amazing. Iwant to get your take because you

(15:56):
had a different view. You werestraight out looking I'm dead like you were,
Like, no, I would sayit probably no more than what fIF
fifth. I think you fed itpretty well because that was amazing. So,
uh, could you walk us throughwhat happened and maybe the people that
are tuning in that work there yougot to experience us what what you what

(16:18):
you felt, as well as yourthoughts on So I did like that interaction
because I am very up in theair when it comes to paranormal activity and
like how it manifests itself. ButI'm I'm very much of the belief of

(16:40):
you know, mediumship, psychics andpeople having a connection with with something through
a veil that we don't normally haveaccess to, and I think that the
different ways that it manifests itself inthis sort of dimension of reality is always
really, really fascinating. And Ialso so wanted to note too that was

(17:00):
something in sort of hindsight, isthat things didn't really amp up until I
think all of us that were onthat hunt, we're all ended up present
in that moment, and that sortof amped up a little bit more,
which I found interesting because Kathy andI were somewhere else in the building and
then we sort of made our wayover to where you guys were, and

(17:22):
then all hell were kind of startedto break loose there and the chair room
there are you know, all sortsof spiritual based theories. You know,
we always like to keep in mindno matter what that when it does come
to the paranormal, this is allsort of a it's all based on personal
experience, it's all based on theory, it's all based on sort of this

(17:42):
pseudoscience that we're figuring out and gettingthrough. But it doesn't mean that we're
not having these personal experiences. SoKathy and I get there, and I'm
doing a lot with static electricity andspecifically if you want to get woo wo
static in encouraging that sort of veilor there's portals to open. There's more

(18:02):
to it. It's not that simple, I promise. So we get there
and Tim is sitting in the chairroom in the chair and everybody's sort of
surrounding him, and you can tellthere's this moment where it's Tim and then
it's not Tim. And he startedsaying something and I looked at Kathy and
I said, that's not Tim.And I sat down in front of the

(18:25):
door with my static generator and Istart going. I started generating it,
and I'm just generating this static likewatching and I'm like, will he explode?
I don't know, let's do it. And I'm just generating like a
madman and like sitting on the floorlike a child, and he sort of
starts getting louder and louder and louder, and Kathy and I are watching into

(18:48):
the room and we saw Frank andHeather behind him, so we saw their
two shadows behind him, and thenwe both and I this is just a
personal experience. I'm not saying thisis what happened, but with my eyeballs
and my brain putting this together, this is sort of what I saw with
my eyes behind Tim as he's gettingloud and he's describing this, what are

(19:11):
you doing? Blah blah, yousee this sort of like black shape,
And five minutes later, I'm gonnabe talking about how I don't believe in
ghosts. By the way, itshouldn't be so funny. You see this
sort of dark shape sort of likerise out behind Tim on the wall,
and you see Frank and Heather's shadows, so I know they're there, and
then you see it go up.Because I didn't see Frank and Heather.

(19:33):
I saw their shadows, so that'show I knew that they were back.
There goes up and it meets wherethe wall meets the ceiling, so you
have Tim. I don't know ifsomebody's lighting him from the front, but
there wasn't a lot of light inthere, and you have a shadow that
goes all the way up behind himwith a crease up on top of the
wall. And you would have hadto been directly in front of him to
cast the shadow because it's a squareroom, so you'd have to been right

(19:57):
in front of him. And Iwas in front of him. And I
don't use a flashlight at OSR becauseI like to choose violence, and so
I wasn't shining anything on him,but it was just right behind him,
directly behind him. And we thoughtthat was really interesting, and that was
distracting me more so than the conversationthat was happening. But I could tell

(20:18):
like he was being very loud andthen and then it was just done,
and then we were all like,oh, cool that you guys want to
go back down to the break room. Yeah, no, that that that
No, that was a very interestingmoment because when you when you're talking about
seeing this shadow pop up behind Tim. Now, I had a thermal imager

(20:41):
on Tim at the time where Iwas sitting, and I could watch it
grow at the same time, butthrough the thermal imager it blocked out frank
in heather Like I couldn't even seetheir heat energy anymore. Twelve feet tall,
he's a relative to Bigfoot, justno hair. Yeah, yeah,

(21:07):
but I was, but yeah,no, it was. It was such
an experience from from being in OHSSorry. Like, like I said,
everybody walked away and we talked toa lot of the people that were there
that night, and it was everybodywalked away with some type of experience,

(21:27):
you know, And that just goesto show you, like just how active
oh S R is. That whileI all agree to that is because so
much stuff happens there too. Ithappens I've experienced more things in the daytime
too on tours. I mean, yeah, there's there's no tide constraint when

(21:49):
the spook when when the ghosties wantto want to come on out right.
Well energy, Well, we weretalking a little bit about this, but
it makes sense because when you thinkof about it, a prison is active
during the day it's not active atnight because the prisoners are on lockdown.
They're told to go to bed ata certain time, they're told to wake
up at a certain time. Soyou know when people go, well,

(22:12):
it's why is it active during today? It's because this is what they
are doing their normal routines. Sowhy would it be active? I will
say, if you think about timenow, we go through a lot of
daylight savings and things like that too. So there is how time today,

(22:34):
like noon back in eighteen fifties wouldnot have been noon anyway, So you
have a lot of difference in youknow what I mean. So so the
further back then it really doesn't matter. And when it comes out very crazy,
very loaded loaded conversation here. Buthow we think, how each individual

(23:00):
person thinks that that sort of energyis manifesting itself, whether we think it's
you know, dead uncle George walkingaround with chains on him, or if
we think it is a multi dimensionalbeing that is just playing the part in
order to interact with us, Yes, which so it could not it could
maybe not even be uh you know, prison people. Maybe that's just those

(23:22):
are just the fifth dimensional scientists thatare just working on the prison sector for
our dimension, and they're like,oh, look like prison people. So
we don't freak them the fuck outso we can continue studying them. If
you want to get real crazy.I do have my tin I have my
tinfoil hat right here, and it'skind of this is my fair day,
my fair day cage from my video. I should put that back on.

(23:45):
That was really perfect with how I'mtalking right now like a crazy person.
So if you think about that, the rules kind of disappear. It's great.
Is because even just on a clockin general, noon in eighteen fifty
two is not noon in twenty twentyfour. Great apparently not No, just

(24:10):
with the revolutions of the Earth andthe and the different time of changes and
where we are in the universe rightnow, the sun is probably not in
the same And there's there's a there'sa website that you can look this up,
like what time would it be nowin you know, eighteen fifty two
in Mansfield, Ohio? Let's wiShould I have just fingle it now?

(24:32):
I gotta know? But Lauren, you know what I mean, Lauren,
I'm gonna so we're gonna zig andzag with you today. Now I'm crazy,
We're all absolutely not. This iswhy we get along so well,
because we're all in the same boattogether. So I'm gonna zig and zag
here with you. I'm going tochange the topic a bit here. Yeah,

(24:52):
I love to do it. I'mgonna throw a quote from the book
Sometimes magic is the excuse to realizethat we are the magic. Correct.
I love that. I just wantedto say, Okay, number one,
now you mentioned your book, itwas at this point in time for you
to be your own authentic self. What led you to saying that you're going

(25:18):
You weren't saying a lot of stuffwhen you're originally practicing magic with people.
You're letting them do their thing, pretending like you had no idea what was
going on. Was based on whatyou're saying that eventually you wanted to be
your own authentic self and you feltso much better. My so, adding
on to that, I'm I am. I am a practitioner of the witchy

(25:42):
wu wu so I do. Iam very interested in a spiritual connection with
the energy around us and through that, you know, we deem that witchcraft.
You know, I do a lotof moon rituals. I celebrate the
solstices, the equinoxes. I doyou know things with jars, And I

(26:03):
have neot, which is a herb. Actually I'm a vegan witch, but
it was a nickname for an herb. It's it. There's a lot of
those like I, I of Neotand tongue of dog were folkloric nicknames for
actual like plants and herbs. Nokidding, Okay, isn't that fun.
It's like, and here, allthese years I thought they were actually put

(26:26):
the time of a dog into something. Yeah, it has just been like
the folkloric names for things. There'sa whole it's you can look up all
the all the cool names for thedifferent herbs that we still use today,
and you can kind of look upthere like old folkloric like WITCHI, which
he names. But so and yeah, like the first time that I really

(26:49):
in my adulthood, at least Ithink everybody who practices everybody, okay,
listen, we're in the paranormal,so all of us probably had that either
that one moment in our adolescence thatwe either like tried to make something move
with our eyes or we you know, I don't know why my thing does
this. This does at all thetimes, I even tried a different camera

(27:11):
because I thought maybe it was mycamera. I have no idea whatever where
we either tried to make something moveor we uh a certain time would happened
any other time it clutch energy isstrung yeah, and uh yeah absolutely and
or you know, we drew abig pedagram on our hardwood floors in our

(27:33):
bedroom. Sorry, sorry, momand dad? Did you do that?
I know is that when the nextpeople bought our house and they ripped up
the carpet, I got a textmessage okay, and thankfully they were friends.
So we all had that sort ofstage. But in my adulthood,

(27:55):
practicing magic was very sort of like, you know, is it taboo or
a people going to think I'm weird. So I had this girlfriend who was
like, yeah, I'm a witchand I was like, oh, that's
so cool. Can you like showme your witchy stuff? And she's like
yeah, I'll come over and we'lldo this and that, and I was
like oh okay, and she's sortwe went through this whole thing and did
all this stuff, and I waslike, okay. I was like I

(28:15):
guess, you know, I guessit's not this big production and you know,
maybe I'm not doing this you knowwrong or whatever. And I'm like,
I wonder how many people are sostunted in their spiritual growth because they
don't think that they're doing it right. Because we have social media, we
have the witchy esthetic, we haveall of these things that are telling us

(28:37):
like, this is what you haveto look like, be and do if
you want to be a witch. And none of that's true. So one
of my big goals in writing thisbook was not just to bring the fact
of just like my life and sortof put it down on paper. And
it was a box I needed tocheck for Greg Fakettick, and we can
go into that later, but Ireally wanted to give something easy and palatable

(29:02):
to people that weren't sure what theywere doing, but also weren't sure what
they wanted to practice. And theonly rules that I have in here are
like, be kind, be respectful, make sure that you're not appropriating cultures
that you don't have, you know, access to, and you're more magical

(29:22):
than the ship that you have inyour cabinet. And you know what I
liked, and and and then I'llmove on from the book you mentioned.
When doing magic, I mean you'reperforming, you're performing for yourself. You're
mentioning this. It's just how importantit is to be consistent, meaning always
pay attention to the dits, thebeings and the spirits. If you will
have that resonates, paying attention inthe sense you're acknowledging them often, like

(29:48):
myself here part of me. Ihave a couple alters here. You know,
I've got some whiskey on there.I've got snaps like chocolate and chips
and pretzels and peanuts, coin andsay like shiny things. I even use
if my cat's claws fall, mymy perception goods too. Yes, one
hundred percent. That's a whole othertopic. But I also put the whiskers

(30:11):
in. But I mean I putthe claws in to give to my spirit
guides, my spirit friends, myprotectors, my ancestors, if they need
it to battle whatever's around me inmy mind, they can use those claws
for protection as well as a tool. But anyways, it's thought about me
here. So now it's not justwhen you need them, but you also
say, like, not like afair weather friend, pay attention to them
all the time, not just one. Okay, I want to conjure up

(30:33):
or I want to I want toget manifest some money. Okay, hey,
come on down, No, itdoesn't work that way. And I
love that you say that. Canyou expand on that a bit please?
And I And that's even coming froma stance that I don't necessarily work with
deities per se. I have alot of imagery that I work with.
But if but no, I guessit's a lie because I work with the
moon a lot. So I guessin a way, the moon is sort

(30:56):
of a lot of my ultars areto the moon, to plants, to
the different elements, and I doacknowledge them on a daily basis. So
it's like, whatever you want todraw your power, your magic, your
inspiration, your spirituality from, don'tjust do it when you want something.
It's just like a friendship. Don'tjust reach out to your friend when you
want something. Check in, evenif it's checking in to be like,

(31:18):
you know, wow, the moon'sbeautiful today, Yo, girl, you
look beautiful today, and like oryou know, check in on the leaves
of your plants or you know, the altars I have, Like oh my
gosh, Kathy, I was talkingto my beautiful, wonderful I call her
my witch wife. Kathy, andshe was like, can you show me
some pictures of your altars? I'mnot sure if I'm doing it right.

(31:40):
And I was like, say, less you are, but of course I'll
send you mine. And I havelike twelve around the house. I was
like, there's this one, andthere's this one, and there's this one,
and they're all over the place.Because it's just like, the more
you can pay attention to your magicin a way that it's you every day
all the time, that into otherparts of your life, that bleeds into

(32:01):
the boundaries that you need to havewith people in order to protect yourself.
That bleeds into you making sure thatyou have special time for yourself. Do
I have to say boundaries again? That needs to bleed into the boundaries that
you have with people. It lookslike I needed to repeat that for that's
you know what. And I loveI love what a message that is.
I mean just I mean life ingeneral, but I mean, yeah,
it makes so much sense if you'regonna do it, be all in yeah,

(32:24):
and you don't have to do magicevery day literally just sometimes I'm just
like, I tim Shaw gave methis bracelet and I wear this as this
sort of like spiritual piece. AndI think of it as like it's a
protection piece. So anytime I'm doingsomething paranormal important, anytime I'm going to
do something where I might feel anxiousor I might feel nervous coming on a

(32:45):
podcast, I put this on.And this is a part of my magic.
You know. I put my mother'sjewelry on. That's a part,
and that that's magic. I'm practicingmagic right the fuck now? Yes,
and my candle like it's and I'mI I'm not okay, I'll step off
my soapbox. Oh you're good,You're good. No, please, please
please no, this this is allabout you. Uh So, I want

(33:10):
to get a little bit into tothese amazing crystal pods that you are my
science glasses on. I got thewitchy ones. Uh so, I got
a couple here you could talk aboutthem. So as we're looking at these,

(33:35):
like, tell us what inspired youto do this? So one more
so, I the it's funny.The crystal pod was a was a happy
accident, believe it or not.I like I said, I'm on Pricey

(33:57):
ghost Hunters and being on a teamand working my first parapsychon like bleue my
head right open where I was justlike, holy shit, this is like
a thing that people do. AndI told Greg Greg and Kathy Faketick,
who put on parasychon every year, that the head of Tricey Ghos hunters,
Greg is the lead investigator for theOhio State Reformatory. And uh, look

(34:21):
at all those babies. And Katsorry, and Dale puts up some beautiful
pods on the screen and they're verygorgeous. For those of you listening later
on the radio, they're so beautiful. Go to my website you can see
them. What's the websites Lauren Hauntsdot com or Google Crystal Pod. I
bet you it'll come up. Okay. But so he I had told him.

(34:45):
I was like, you know what, Greg, one of these days
I'm gonna be I'm going to bea speaker at Parasyicon. I had always
been. I do a lot ofI've done a lot of workshops. I've
taught workshops about witchcraft. I've doneof course in the in the yoga meditation
world. So you're healing shamanic, you know, healings for all these things.
I've sort of done. So I'mvery used to being sort of the

(35:06):
facilitator of encouraging people. And Itold Greg, I said, you know,
one of the I'm going to bea parasiticon one day and I'm going
to be a speaker. And hewas like, well, what have you
done and I was like, well, nothing yet. What do I need
to do? And he was likehave you written a book? And I
was like nope, but I'll getstarted on it. And he was like
have you been on TV? AndI was like, I'll get started on
it. And he was like haveyou done this? And I was like,
I'll get started on it. SoI made this list and I think

(35:29):
he was thinking he was being funny, and I was like, say forget
less and then you know dark Moonlight. That's why I said. I mean
it was important, it was somethingthat I needed to do, but it
was it was also a check mark. And he had known that I've always
been sort of a tinkerer and I'vealways been a fixer and things like that,
and I had told him about thisand you mentioned motorcycles, you know,

(35:52):
my first motorcycle. I was like, Ah, this isn't running really
well. I think I'm going totake the carburetor apart and learn how to
rebuild carburetors via YouTube, and Iwas like, this is so great.
And so I've always been like handson, learn how something works and either
fix it, make it, createit, or break it, but learn

(36:13):
while I break it. And thatdid start when I was young. Ask
my poor dad. And so Gregwas like, uh, you fix stuff.
This is broken. You want tofix it? And he hands me
this, Oh, I don't haveone over here. The well, it's
the pods that I use for theworkshop that I teach now to sort of
pass that on to people. Butit's just one of those proximity sensors that

(36:34):
it's like the modified door alarm, and it's just a little black sort of
thing and it's a modified rempod basically. And I was like, yeah,
I could probably fix that. Doyou mind if I take it apart?
And he's like no, not atall. So I go home, I
take it apart and I was like, shit, I can fix this.
I can fucking build these. Andso, you know, I got the

(36:55):
parts for it and I built it, and I was like, I'm going
to put this in some thing. You know, I can't really afford a
rempod, so I'm gonna get abox that kind of looks like a rempod
and I owned a yoga studio,so I had a shit ton of crystals.
I was like, I'm just gonnapust some crystals on it because it's
gonna look pretty. And I hadbeen doing vendor shows just selling sort of
like witchcraft stuff with my book Pendulumthings like that too, and so I

(37:21):
brought it with me because it wasa hot on location and I sat it
on my table and people are like, what is that And I'm like,
oh, you know, it's ayou know, a rampod that I built
and blah blah blah, and theywere like, can I buy it?
And I'm like, oh no,it's like it's just mine. And they
were like can I buy it?And I was like no, and they
were like, will you take myfirstborn child? And I was like I

(37:43):
won't, but maybe I should makethese, I guess, And so I
made a few and last year Iwould say eighty percent of the vendor shows
that I took stock to I soldout every show. And the biggest show
was at I want to say MadisonSeminary Adam Kimmel. I drove up and

(38:08):
Kimmel recognized me from one of hisother shows and he was like you're about
what did he say, You're aboutto get raided? And I was like
okay. I brought like twenty podswith me and he was like, yeah,
the show started at eleven, theywere gone by eleven thirty gone,
Wow, peace out. So I'mlike, yeah, it was insane.

(38:30):
So I was like okay then, and I brought it to an event at
the Ohio State Reformatory with Dave Giulianoand I was just going to use it
because I was like, you knowwhatever, I'm just it's great. I
love them, I love how theywork. I've been learning so much more
about you know, capacity of proximitysensors by just using this and experimenting with

(38:52):
it and just learning more about theequipment and sharing what I'm learning. And
Dave Juliano was like what is that? And I was like, oh,
you know, do you want tosee it? It's my And he was
like I want to sell these? Can I sell these? And I was
like, I mean, I guessI sell them. And he's like,
we need to talk, and sohe kind of kept was like we need

(39:14):
to talk, we need to talk, me to talk. We finally kind
of sat down and now we havethese you know great, you know it's
great friendship and these zoom calls, and they sell in the ghost Hunter store.
And I'm actually there's one in myworkshop that I'm finishing because it is
being shipped to Australia. So Iam officially I've shipped them all over the
country. I've shipped them into Canadaand I'm getting ready to ship it to

(39:37):
Australia. So I'm like, officially, the crystal pod is a worldwide piece
of equipment. Dale. Can youplease put a pick the picture up with
the multiple crystal yeah, right there. So I just want to say for
those listening, I mean you've gotdifferent colored crystals on there. You got
a baby blue, there's like apurple and white. There's like a green

(39:59):
and white there. I'm not surewhat the color on the top right is.
What color is that that the topthe top right? That is a
laser engraved design. Okay, sothat is I have a laser engraver now,
so I can do like full customdesigns on tops of things. Nice,
so those groups could get their logoon there. Yeah yeah, yeah,

(40:23):
that green one. So there's agreen pod that has that ops and
the skeletal man and all of thoseteeth. That is my friend Mikey's logo,
and that is a custom that heordered. He's odin on TikTok okay
and he ordered that and he alsoordered a beautiful one for his partner mal

(40:45):
And so I do custom work nowas well. One recently, if anybody
watching or listening is on TikTok Beckyand Gallantine, I sent her a spirit
board pod and it is. Ithink it's almost up to one hundred thousand
views on TikTok Yeah, so thatone's pretty free. So for those who

(41:05):
don't know what a spirit board is, board all Day looks incredible. I
saw it, and O'Dell saw it. I was like, oh my god.
Talk about next level. I lovesaying that. Every time you go
on Lauren Hellison's page, whether youknow it's Instagram or Facebook, she's always
doing something different. It's always nextlevel. She got something else. I
think next thing up she'll have arempod with a candle on top. We
were talking about that backstage. Actually, I'm going to have a rampod that

(41:30):
instead of the trigger sounding like this, you're gonna be able to customize music.
Whoa so it can play. It'smuch like the lantern that is available
in the ghost Hunter store, exceptyou can get the song so you can
tailor it to the location and thingslike that, so time period, all

(41:51):
that stuff, so you can haveBella Lagoses dead on there. You could
have Bela Lugosi's dead on there.Oh yeah, see see. I think
we need the order one of thoseramparts with the Paranormal Voice logo on it,
because I think that would just beso sweet. You know, absolutely
do that. So you bet yourcrystal pods. But now I mean you
mentioned something. You also have what'scoming up. It's called a seer pod,

(42:15):
the Seer device device. Sorry,I will preface this with my style
of creating equipment. I did notnecessarily invent any of the circuitry on the
inside of any of these pieces ofequipment that I am very simplistic and like

(42:35):
analogue with my design. I don'tdo super super fancy stuff at all.
When it comes to how I liketo investigate the paranormal, I'm very like
atmospheric based, So I'm I wantto know if they're static in the room.
I want to know if there isyou know, electromagnetic radiation in the
room. So the experiments that Iwork with are all very simple and base.

(43:00):
I don't know if this will getme canceled, but it's going to
happen anyway. I think that theinvestigation techniques that we have going on are
so far beyond where we need tobe right now. Just because we have
the technology, we can't explain simplephenomena yet, and so that's where I'm
starting. Very simple, very groundlevel, very boring. So that's why

(43:24):
I make my shit real fucking pretty. And you know what, I think,
if anybody's going to be able todo it, I think Lauren HeLEX
Is the is the one to doit and get it done. I really
believe that with what you know andwhat we know about you and what you've
proven to so many of us outthere that know who Lauren Helexon is,
who Lauren Helexon, the inventor, the creator is, You're going to be

(43:45):
the one to do this, Ihope. So I really my biggest goal,
My biggest goal when it comes tomy career in the paranormal is helping
people to use the equipment that theyhave or the equipment that they have access
to in a better way that theycan get data and results that they can

(44:06):
present in a more sort of objectiveway that doesn't everything in the paranormal is
really really dependent upon the belief. And if you can gather just some kind
of data that you could present ina way that it's not dependent upon belief,
that's one step in the right direction. And it might be something tiny,

(44:27):
might be something teeny tiny. I'mdoing some experimentation with the Oldall Paranormal
Society is giving me some really greatideas, and we're going to do some
experimentation that has to do with workingwith psychics and mediums, and it's about
frequency, something very simple like acladney plate and working with frequency and air
pressure and like just very simple thingsthat everybody has access to to just see

(44:51):
how how can we find correlations withvery real accessible We know how how it
works, we already know the sciencebehind it. Apply that to the paranormal
and see if we can find anysort of relationship there before we move on
to the you know, the deviceswhere I don't really know how they work,

(45:15):
but the ghost just knows that thisbutton means this, and this button
means that, and they know howthis is. But you I don't know
not to start to vent on it. But there's so many really difficult pieces
of equipment that I can't tell youhow it's working. And the transparency just
isn't there. And if you arelooking for personal experiences, forget everything I'm

(45:37):
saying. It doesn't fucking apply atall. I'm only talking on a basis
of if you want to further itas a study, that's it. Because
don't get me wrong, y'all,I'm a witch. I'll just walk around
with my fucking pendulum and I'll like, ooh, some touched me. And
I'm fine with that. And sometimesI need to do that to like bring
myself back because I'll sit in theworkshop and I'll be like, shit,

(46:00):
ghosts don't fucking exist. This isall waste of time. And I'm like,
i gotta go to OSR. Igotta bring these bracket so but yeah,
so I'm very simplistic. But sothis's your pot. Yes, it
detects presence of static electricity and USand stat electricity discharge and it's very this

(46:21):
is just this is an empty boxbecause they're not being fitted. They're not
finished yet. But the box isreally pretty and it is a very simple
circuit that you know, levels small, even even combing through the hair.
So yes, it's going to bemore susceptible to some false positives. So
you really have to create a controlledenvironment to use something like this. And

(46:42):
it's not made to be a communicationdevice. It's not made for yes and
no. It's only made to ifyou are in a place and you think
that there might be a portal, you put this exactly where that fucking portal
is and you start working around thatplace, and if that light starts to
light up, you pay attention. Now you're talking. So that's kind of
what this is for. I havea lot of theories behind static electricity and

(47:05):
portal's other dimensions. Y'all. Nowyou went back. You mentioned about being
a witch. Yes, now somethinginteresting again, Let's go back to the
book. I said I wouldn't,but I'm going too. Sorry, that's
okay, keep doing it. Iloved your husband, Christopher, the one
you motorcycle ride with. I've seensome great photos of the two year again.
I taught him how to ride.Oh my god, it's so bad,
as I put him on his firstbike. I taught that man how

(47:28):
to ride. So what's interesting youmentioned at the beginning where you're saying you're
thank yous and stuff to everybody. He was the first person to actually call
you a witch with so much loveand excitement behind it, the super super
supportive I guess of you being awitch. I mean, how the heck
did that make you feel? Finallysomeone validates, Yes, you're awesome and
he brags about you like that, and he didn't. It was cute too,

(47:50):
He's so adorable. He didn't sayit in a way that was like,
oh, you're a witch. No, he was like. I had
to calm him down with like tellingpeople I was gonna hex them and I'm
like, you can't do that, and he's like why not? And I'm
like, cause I'm not going todo that, and he's like whatever,
fine, he'll do. He getsvery serious and if anybody has ever one

(48:14):
day, I promise he exists, because he's like never right at my shows,
I promise you don't exist. Youguys will all meet him at Parasicon.
He's he's gonna be working with me. Yeah, everybody will meet him
at Parasicon. But he's so sweet. If ever, I'm like, okay,
we you know we have I wantto do this and this, and
this tonight it's the solstice, it'san equinox, whatever, it's a full
moon. And he's like okay, okay, and he'll really get into it

(48:36):
and he's he's so sweet. Sohe'll be doing something and I'll walk over
to get something and he'll like walkaway, and I'll be like, don't
break the circle and he goes,oh my god, I'm so sorry,
and I'm like, I just kid. And then he'll like be doing something.
He's like, babe, babe,am I doing witchcraft And I'm like,
you are so doing witchcraft and he'slike, I'm doing witchcraft and he
gets super into it, and it'sit's it's encourage because it's like he's taking

(49:01):
it like it's a serious thing. And that's if you are somebody who practices
any kind of spirituality, it's sorewarding when your partner is taking it seriously
with you, whether or not theybelieve it, they take it seriously for
you, and that is such amark of a wonderful supportive I hope he's

(49:21):
not watching. I don't want himto hear all this. Yeah I know,
and he's hot, but yeah,so he's he's very supportive. And
he's a big reason why I wasable to dive into this, you know,
and I and then eventually I wasable to make it work so much
that I didn't have to, youknow, go to my my day job

(49:43):
anymore. And a lot of thatwas just his support. But I jokingly
say, if I went to himand I was like, hey, I
think I'm going to raise butterflies fora living, he would be like,
all right, let's put together abusiness plan, try it off for three
months and we'll see where we are. And well, I think I've said
funny things to him like that beforeand he's like, yeah, okay,
we can try that. I'm like, that's so joking, but so sweet.

(50:05):
Wow, he's so sweet. Youknow what I think that's very important
too, is that when you havesomebody in your life that supports your vision,
your dream and your passion, itmakes it that much easier. And
I think a lot of people thatare out there that are investigators that are

(50:28):
doing all this stuff, you know, they've got strong support system, and
it starts right there at home withthe person you're with the most. And
it's good that he sees just howimportant this is to you to fulfill your
passion, and I'll tell you youyou are hitting it out of the ballpark
with what you're doing. And it'sso amazing to be able to be able

(50:52):
to sit here and talk to youand learn so much that I mean,
this has been nothing but a learningtree this whole time. Now, I
know there's a lot of people outthere who want to know how can they
order any of your products? Whereto find you? What are you up

(51:13):
to? How is that possible?I wrote my schedule right here, so
Lauren Hans dot com is where youcan find That's where you can find a
link to the amethyst Crystal Pod that'savailable in the ghost Hunter Store. And
if you wait just a couple weekswhere I'm actually releasing the all black Crystal

(51:37):
Pod on the ghost Hunter Store.Yeah, it's gonna be badass. I
don't know if we're going to callit like, I don't know, like
back to black or it's just something, Oh, there goes my earpod,
something really cool. But there's goingto be an all black Crystal pod available
in the ghost Hunter Store soon. That's gonna be awesome. Yes, you
can order your customs on my website. There is a page just for customs

(52:00):
and then I am going to beat vendor show wise well first this weekend.
If you want to learn how tobuild the guts. Generally speaking,
I do a lot to these guts, but the general idea of the guts
inside of a crystal pod. Iteach a workshop. I teach a build
workshop so you can learn how tobuild your own proximity sensor. I even

(52:27):
bring little crystal stickers so you canmake it into a pretend rempod. But
it's like it's shaped like this,It's not shaped like this. But I
have a workshop this weekend in AvonLake, Ohio with the Cleveland Haunt Club.
A link to that is on mywebsite. I am at the Bell
Mansion for twenty eight days Haunted. It takes over the Bell. I am
there on January twentieth, and Iwill have a very limited amount of seer

(52:52):
devices, but I will have tonsof rempods, sorry, crystal pods.
And then I am speaking at thegathering at the Windermere March ninth. Gosh,
I have stuff, man, Ihave stuff happening. Oh, Michael,

(53:14):
remind me to tell you something reallyquick, and Dale too, because
you were there too. April twentyFirst, now, this is the first
time that I'm announcing it specifically onhere. April twenty. First, I
am having a special event hunt atHillview Manor. I spoke to Carrie today,

(53:37):
the beautiful, wonderful carry at hillView today and we are putting together
a little ghost hunt at Hillview Manorwith me along with I have a pod
workshop and an even bigger special announcementthat I'm not going to talk about yet,
but it has to do with hellView Manner and it has to do
with me talking at your face.So there's all that. But yeah,

(54:01):
do you remember at Michigan Paracon whenwe all first met and I was holding
very awkwardly this crystal pod in myhands, and you said where have we
seen this? Has it been onTV? And I said not yet,
check with me next year. Yes, the Crystal Pod is going to be

(54:22):
featured as a feature piece of equipmenton Dark Echoes Paranormal on Amazon Prime in
their season two, so it willmake its television debut and Dave Juliano will
be using his personal one as well. And Dave is also just working on
getting this everywhere, which is fantastic. So by Michigan Paricon next year,

(54:46):
it will have made its debut wellyeah, by Michigan Pericon. It will
have already been on a camera, maybe not on the television yet, but
it is going to be on TV. So that's gradually that we checked.
Yes, So that that that isamazing. That's congratulations to you. I

(55:06):
mean that that's that's amazing stuff. And to know that, like, yeah,
and something you built is out thereand showing you, I mean,
it shows you just how well thisstuff is at, how well it's perceived.
I mean, we can also seeyou. You also, I believed

(55:27):
episodes of TV. You are goingto be on TV. You are part
of the death Walker series with ofcourse that Groff and his beautiful wife Tessa.
Do you know who I play? No, it was the biggest compliment

(55:47):
I have ever. Oh yes, yes, my life. I am Tessa
Groff's tatted biker reenactment actress. SoI got to play Tessa, which was
absolutely amazing. And it's nice becausenow just having that kind of like connection

(56:08):
with her, the like the themost recent video I did about the fair
Day Cage, like she commented likelove this, and I'm like, I
just get to see this beautiful, incredible woman just comment on my shit,
and I'm like, I love you, but yeah, I got to play
Tessa. So I got to spenda lot of time with Nick, which
was really cool. And he's somebodyof course that you know, I've been

(56:31):
watching since he appeared, since helooked like he was fifteen, and so
being able to work with somebody likethat, especially in a sense that so
many people say such bad things aboutthe entertainment industry and and I get it.
I get as paranormal investigators, wecan get really up in arms about

(56:52):
like what it's It's entertainment and it'scertain purpose and it gets people interested.
But when I say that, workingwith Nick and like seeing the actual passion
that he had in his project andthe talent that he had was so incredible,
And just being able to work withsomebody that I that I feel got
me into the interest. And I'mnot and I'm not out here trying to

(57:15):
fake shit like it serves a purpose. The entertainment is there for us to
be like whoa, and then you'llget into it. Sometimes it's fake whatever,
go out there and figure it outyourself. So I think that's just
kind of me being on my becauseI Nick Nick and Tess are beautiful people.
They're wonderful, and he's so passionateand talented, so I will stand

(57:37):
up for those people. But yeah, so wow, damn, just give
me a goal. I'll just yes. So yeah, So make sure you
watch season two or no, itis season four of Death Walkers and you
are going to see the Miss LovelyLords part to the season four. So

(58:02):
for all those that are wanting tofollow you, and then where can we
find you on social media? Laurenhaunts See I made that. I made
that for you guys because I waslike, I need one of these.
That Tesla coil almost electrocuted my eyeball. That was a good time. It's
on. It's real. But Iam Lauren Hants on TikTok, on YouTube,

(58:28):
on Instagram, on Facebook. Ipost the most right now on Instagram,
and I post a lot of videosabout working a little bit better with
your equipment on TikTok, So checkme out on those platforms. Absolutely amazing.
I mean, this has been thefastest hour I think we've ever had

(58:51):
to go through. We could sithere and spend probably about another fifteen more
hours with you just nicking your brain. Oh, we will definitely make time.
So yeah, no, once again, I know for those that I
mean, I know it's an event. I'm going to be it. I'm
going to be attending. I'm notgoing to be there in any other capacity,

(59:14):
but I will be at the parapsychonMay seventeenth to the nineteenth. Check
out OSR. It is absolutely anamazing place. I'll tell you, if
you get a chance to go goosthunting there, absolutely take that opportunity and
check out OSR. But you know, at the same time, go to

which became famous through the most thegreatest movie of all time, The

(59:57):
Shawshank Redemption. I love that movie. I can watch that movie one hundred
and fifty thousand times and now Iwatch it, I'm like, hey,
I was in that area. Thatis I was there, but yees,
So check it out. Parasiticon Mayseventeenth to the nineteenth, twenty twenty four

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
