Intervista a Alice Spano, editor e responsabile di collana
In Italia si tende a oscurare molto la figura dell’editor, determinante nella fase di creazione del libro come oggetto finale.
Alice Spano, entrata nel team Minimum Fax un anno fa, ci ha raccontato la sua personale attenzione come editor ai queer studies e alle marginalità, il suo amore per il lavoro di scouting sui titoli stranieri (grazie al rapporto con agenti e responsabili delle case editrici), il dialogo stretto tra editor e autore nel concepire i libri per il mercato italiano.
La grande attenzione alla commistione di linguaggi e il lavoro di cura da parte della squadra hanno permesso a Minimum Fax di uscire dalla nicchia e raggiungere un pubblico vasto.
E allora ci piace nominarli tutti, coloro che stanno dietro le quinte.
Non lo si fa mai abbastanza.
