En tiempos remotos, la adivinación de cartas era una práctica común y mística, rodeada de rituales y creencias profundas. Uno de los métodos más enigmáticos era el círculo encantado, realizado con la baraja española completa. Este ritual consistía en trazar un círculo de tierra y llenarlo con diecinueve cartas, mientras se recitaba el nombre del consultante seis veces. Se decía que los brujos podían contactar a un demonio atrapado dentro del círculo, quien revelaba secretos del futuro. Sin embargo, la magia contenía peligros insospechados: si el ritual se interrumpía, el demonio podría escapar y desatar el caos. Tal fue el destino de un aprendiz inexperto, cuya falla permitió la liberación de una criatura monstruosa, sellando así su propio destino y el de su maestro en una trágica esclavitud espiritual.
