C'era una volta un bambino dolcissimo e molto curioso. Si chiamava Samuele. La sua festa preferita era il Natale, perché gli piacevano le decorazioni scintillanti, il calore della festa e i giochi divertenti a cui partecipava con la sua famiglia. Era sempre stato affascinato dalla figura di Babbo Natale, quell'uomo con la folta barba bianca e un vestito rosso, che dispensava affetto a tutti.
Samuele sognava di incontrarlo e di esplorare il laboratorio in cui, assieme agli gnomi, preparava i suoi fantastici doni da distribuire al mondo intero.
Perciò, la sera del 24 Dicembre, volgendo gli occhi alle stelle in alto nel cielo, disse in cuor suo: "Vi prego stelline, fatemi incontrare Babbo Natale! Questo sarebbe il più bel regalo che io possa mai ricevere.
