C’era una volta la storia di due amici. C’era una volta un leoncino. Si chiamava Kiros. Il suo nome racchiudeva in sé un futuro stabilito ancora prima che nascesse. In quanto figlio del re del branco, avrebbe avuto il dovere di succedergli, quando sarebbe arrivato il momento.
Da piccolo i suoi genitori, che andavano spesso a caccia, lo lasciavano libero di giocare con gli altri leoni e di esplorare la savana, a condizione che non si allontanasse troppo e che stesse attento a non provocare gli animali feroci che abitavano quei luoghi selvaggi e incontaminati.
Certo lui era pur sempre un leone, ma ancora troppo piccolo per riuscire a difendersi.
