No hay duda de que el miedo ha sido y es una clave fundamental para nuestra existencia, sin embargo, el miedo a lo desconocido se fue transformando en mitos y leyendas que empezaron a ser aprovechados por la cúpula del poder para controlar a las masas. Porque si bien es cierto que existen fenómenos inexplicables, también lo es, que el miedo se ha convertido en una herramienta de control usada con éxito hasta nuestros días.
