If the daily grind has you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just in need of a mental reset, this episode of Late Night Health is exactly what you need. Host Mark Alyn sits down with entertainment host and pop-culture insider Kendra Dukes to talk about one of Los Angeles’ most playful and unexpected new experiences — Bubble Planet — and the conversation is as joyful as the attraction itself.Bubble Planet isn’t about sitting quietly or “relaxing” in the traditional sense. It’s about movement, laughter, imagination, and fun — the kind that instantly transports you back to childhood. In this lively segment, Kendra describes running from room to room, diving into a massive bubble-style ball pit, exploring a balloon ocean, and interacting with LED-powered underwater worlds where turtles and stingrays scatter beneath your feet. It’s immersive, interactive, and impossible to experience with a straight face. What makes this conversation especially timely is its connection to Mental Wellness Month. Kendra and Mark explore why stepping away from routines, to-do lists, and constant stress isn’t indulgent — it’s essential. Whether you’re juggling work, family, or the mental clutter that comes with modern life, Bubble Planet offers a playful reminder that mental wellness can come from joy, curiosity, and shared experiences. The episode also answers practical questions listeners are bound to ask: Is it just for kids? (No.) Is it good for adults, couples, or date nights? (Absolutely.) Is it worth giving as a gift when you’re tired of buying ties, belts, or generic presents? (Yes, yes, and yes.) From families to singles to creative professionals looking for inspiration, this experience offers something refreshingly different  .If you’re craving an escape that feeds both your mind and spirit, this Late Night Health episode will make you smile — and might just inspire your next adventure. Tune in, laugh along, and remember what it feels like to have fun again.https://bubble-planet.com#BubblePlanetExperience

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Late Night Health continues. I'm Mark Allen, along with the
insane Darryl Wayne, And as I've said before, don't ask.
It's true. We're gonna go to.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Well La really like Kendra Tooks Is.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Yes, yeah, and I've known I've known the Kendra for
at least ten years at least. We've actually worked together
co hosting red a red carpet event a couple of
years ago, and I'm really excited to talk to her today.
We're going to talk about.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
He looked adorable in your tuxedo. Mark, I'm sorry to
say that again, he looked adorable in your tuxedo at
that red carpet. Yes, I was.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Wearing a tuxedo. I think you can see me in
the tuxedo someplace. Anyway. We're going to talk about the
Bubble Play and an experience that's here and that's just
opened in Los Angeles. Yes, is this and this is
for relaxation?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Okay, I would say yes, if you're it's it's you
could relax if you want to, But it depends on
what what do you think of as relaxing. For me,
when I'm relaxing, I like to have fun. So I
thought I got to experience. This experience, the Bubble Planet Experience.
I got to be there last week and it's it's

(01:32):
an immersive and interactive experience.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
So actually, I take that back.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I don't know that it would be very relaxing. It's
mostly just a lot of fun. And I know for me,
when I was running from room to room, I honestly
I felt like a kid again. And I do think
especially this time of year, there's a lot of hustle
and bustle. We've all got our list making lists, checking
it twice, and I think sometimes you just need to

(02:00):
forget about the list, forget about gifts, and go and
have some fun.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I think that's what this time of year should be about.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Is it for kids, is it for adults? Is it
for families?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yes, and yes I would say the whole family can
go and have a good time. That's what I really
love about Bubble Planet. For me myself, as a childless
grown up, I was able to go and honestly have
a really good time. And for the kids, there's so
many different little stations. There's at least ten different rooms.

(02:36):
There's the largest bubble bath in the world, and it's
really now it's is it a second.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Hold on a second. I'm not going to take my
clothes off in a bubble bath.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Now, see marking And now see your mind went straight
to the gutter. You don't have to take your clothes
off for this bubble bath experience. Okay, it is it
is you remember the ball pit at Chuck e Cheese.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
It is that, like the upgraded version of that.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
It is a giant ballpit, but it's it's like a
bubble bad when you get in there. Trust me, Mark,
you're gonna report back to me after you take a
dive into that, that bubble bath, that ball pit. And
I mean it's it's Calvin take me away. But for
grown ups and kids, it's a lot of fun. So
I really think it's a lot of fun for the

(03:26):
whole family. And is it for kids, Yes, but it's
gonna really I think it'll make you connect with your
inner child, for sure.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I always connect to my inner child. But you're aware
of that, right. I know that this is also celebrating
Mental Wellness Month, which comes out in January.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yes, actually, yes, January is.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
I want to make sure I get it right. Yes,
mental health Wellness Month. Wait, hold on, let me make
sure I'm getting it right. You know, there's a month
for everything these days, but yes, January, there really is.
January is mental wellness month, which I think. I don't
know about you, but for me, at the start of
every year, you know, it's like, Okay, I want to

(04:10):
clean up, I want to get organized. I got all
my resolutions, and it's like, you know what. I think
probably one of the most important things that we need
to focus on at the start of the year is
our mental wellness because they're not going to be able
to achieve any of those resolutions or do anything on
your to do list if you don't have your mind right.
And I think it is important to just sometimes forget

(04:31):
about the mundane everyday stuff that we have to do
and go and have some fun. And I think Bubble
Planet is just the place to do that.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
And this is this is a physical thing as well
as mental.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Is it not absolutely, And it's very interactive, like you
were going to want like it's a type of thing
where you want to go, you want to touch everything,
you want to see everything. I mentioned the bubble bathball pit.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
There's also a.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Balloon, ocean of balloons. I mean, it's when you think
about like think back to when you were a kid.
That's actually how Mario Ikampo he is the he's actually
this is his brain child, this is his baby. He
actually started an exhibition hub years ago and when and
they've done all kinds of interactive immersive experiences. They've done

(05:19):
a Van Go exhibit, a Titanic exhibit, and for this one,
Mario may he rest in peace.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
He really was thinking.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
You know, he asked everyone, what's one of your favorite
memories from childhood?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
And a lot of.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
People have just memories taken a bath, taking a bubble bath,
going outside, blowing bubbles, like the simple things that we
used to do as kids, Like have you've ever seen
a kid just blowing bubbles having the time of their lives?
And that's really where the idea for bubble Planet came from.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
And bubble Planet is actually all over the planet. I
noticed that there's a bubble planet throughout Europe in one
of my favorite cities, Barcela. Yep, great food there, and
then you can have go into a bubble planet as well.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Absolutely, I think there they call it El bubble Planet,
but still it's it's beautiful and they do. Actually there's
some cities in the world. I know in London and
some cities in Europe where they've made the Bubble Planet
exhibition a permanent fixture because that's how much, that's how
popular it is. You know, people want to keep going

(06:29):
back just because, as I said, there are so many
different things that you can experience while you're there, so
it's it's kind of the never the same experience twice.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I know that the word immersive escape. My thinking that
what that that would mean is that it would it
just it takes you away from from what you're doing

(07:00):
so that you can literally lay down.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
On bubbles absolutely, and I mean it's not only is
it great for an escape for your mental wellness, but
also I know for me, I'm a writer and sometimes
I will get a creative block, and I think for
anybody that might need some inspiration, no matter what industry
you're in, I think going to an experience like this

(07:26):
it really does spark something within you.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
And you know, I think if you're.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Feeling a little bit stagnant, it's a great way to
just go and just and reignite the creativity within.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
You said there are ten rooms, Yeah, so what are
some of the other rooms that you can go into
other than the bubble bath.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Okay, let me tell you actually now, at first my
favorite was the bubble bath, but then when I went
into the underwater room, that's my new favorite.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
It's you really feel.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Like you're like underwater in an ocean and you step
on the floor. I mean, the whole room is interactive.
It's led screens all over, even on the floor, and
you can step on the marine life. For instance, there's
a stingray. You step on the sting ray, he scurries away.
You step on the turtle, he scurries away. It's like
you've never seen a turtle swim that fast before. And again,

(08:22):
I think it's so much fun for adults in kids
like I mean, listen, I'm not gonna tell you how
old I am. However I was, you know, don't top secret,
but I will say this. I was running around that
underwater led room. I was running around there like a

(08:42):
four year old. Myself and honestly, any other adults that
were there, we were running around there like a four
year old. And I know that we said it's for
kids and adults, and it is bubble Planet, but adults,
maybe if you wanted to sip yourself a little bubbly
before you go in. Let me tell you, I mean,
there's just really no end to the bubbles.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
If you know what I mean, got it?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
What about would this be? Not being single? Would this
be a great date night?

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Well, Mark, Now, I am single, and I gotta tell you,
I think it would be such a fun date night
because I am I'm single, and I'm going on dates,
and I gotta tell you, the majority of my dates
are snooze fest We're sitting there, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Where are you from?

Speaker 3 (09:29):
I would have so much more fun running around and
having fun with the day instead of having to just
sit there and be like, so we're you know where
do you know?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Tell us about your your your ex boyfriend or girlfriend?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, I don't know that. That's so much more fun.
And I only want to going forward. I only want
to have my dates in the bubble ball pit.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
That's that's where. So men, any single man listening right.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Now, if you want to go on a date with me,
you guys, take me to the bubble Planet.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Really like, I'm accepting nothing less anymore. I'm serious. It's
I think it's such a great date night spot.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
And it's downtown for those of us that live here
in LA in southern California. It's downtown, it's a it's
a really great area. So so yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I think heck yeah, excellent date spot. Thank me later.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Men, women, will you take somebody on a date to
the bubble planet?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Just thank me later?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
You can?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
You can married? Huh? I would say, get married?

Speaker 3 (10:27):
And you know what if more than a marriage takes place,
I am available to be an aunty to whatever babies
arise from the bubble planet. Will I'm I'm obligated now
to be the aunty to all the bubble babies.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, the bubble babies would happen after.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Let's make a lot of I don't know what your
listeners are like, Mark, but I do know you, So
let's put that disclaimer in there.

Speaker 2 (10:52):

(15:30):
are our buddy? Are we buddies? Mackindre Tuks and Leckndra
and I have known each other for at least ten years.
She's always been a pleasure to work with. Lekindra. Before
we talk more about bubble Plan, let's talk about you.

(15:54):
You're the celebrity host for bubble Planet Experienced Los Angeles.
You're on sirius X Sam, You've you've done entertainment reporting
and you know you're and she's got a smile a
mile wide. What are you doing right now? What's going
on in your young life.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Well, as you mentioned, I have been doing a lot
of work with Sirius XM, specifically Radio Andy as an
Andy Cohen. So I do a lot of Bravo and
reality TV content. I always say that Bravo and Housewives
and reality TV that's my sports. So for me, I
can talk about the Housewives all day long. I love

(16:37):
talking about the Housewives. And I've been guesting a lot
on a guy named Jeff Lewis. He's got actually his
show at Bravo just got picked up the reboot it's
called Still Flipping Out, and he's got a morning show
on Radio Andy, and I'm one of his co hosts,
guest co.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Hosts, guest co host.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
That's cool, it is cool. It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
His fan base, his fans are called charm umps, proudly
called chumps, and were.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Not gonna touch that because I know what chumps mean.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Well, well you're right, you're you're not wrong, and we
have a lot of fun. And then I've also I
kind of followed in your footsteps, Mark, because I've got
my podcast now it's called Tooks Takes Uh, And again
I talk about my favorite thing to talk about, which
is house Swiz pop culture, reality TV and.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Me and what's new with you right now?

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (17:31):
That's really it because I like I. Like I said earlier,
I am singles. Well, I am just working, working, working, working,
and we're doing yoga. That is pretty much my life
right now, and I love it.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Are you looking?

Speaker 3 (17:48):
I'm not looking, but somebody better be looking for me.
I'm not looking, but I.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Am in a position to be looked for and found.
I like that.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
All right, let's take some more a discussion on a
bubble planet. Would you call this a century experience? In
other words, you know, it's more than than just I
guess they call them bouncies, you know, kids parties.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Yes, you know the bouncy house in the backyard at
a kid's party.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Oh oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Like the bouncy house in the backyard at your kid's
birthday party?

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Like I mean, it would deflate the Bounty house, would
deflate the in the face of bubble Planet, because it's
like the Bounty House, that's just one thing. But like
I said, at the bubble Planet, it's like you have
ten different rooms. Like if you're let's say you have
ten different kids. If anybody out there has ten kids.
You can throw a kid in each room at Bubble
Planet and they're gonna have a good time.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Just go get them. Thirty minutes later, they'll be exhausted
and ready for a nap.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
And it's an hour to an hour and a half.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Well, I would say I would give myself. I would
even maybe give myself like two hours, because when and
the time flies by when you're in there, because there's
just so much to do.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
There's also I forgot to mention this earlier.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
There is a VR experience which I tested it.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Out last week.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
You sit in this little bubble chair that's kind of
suspended in mid air. Don't worry, it can I was
able to fit in the chair so we can carry
some weight, don't worry, guys. And then you put on
your little VR set. And now now I may not
look like it, but I'm an old school girl. I'm
used to my Nintendo. I'm not used to the VR,
the virtual reality stuff. You put this little thing on.

(19:41):
It is so cool. And then also there's the Kaleidoscope room,
which they just actually they got a new kaleidoscope room
just for the LA exhibition, so very very excited about that.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
And any age can do the VR. I mean four
year old absolutely.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
But I think as anything. I mean, I think a
parent knows their kids. Like if you got a kid
who scares easy, you.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Know, I don't. Maybe not, but I don't. I didn't
think it was very scary. I mean, I definitely would
I have a little four year old niece. I'd let
her do the VR. I think she'd love it.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
I'd be sitting right there in that chair with her
letting her shut. Yeah, I think actually, like, yeah, the
way the chairs are, it's like it's a bubble, so
you can sit in there. You can definitely put put
your kid on your lap, and you guys can do
the VR Experience together because it is really cool. But
to be honest, the VR Experience, that's where the grown
ups are gonna tell the kids, why don't you go

(20:38):
take a bath? And and the ball pit while I
while I hang out over here and VR. And also
I got to say, the bubble chairs are pretty comfortable.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
I was nervous.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
I had to hop into it cause, like I said,
it's like hanging on a chain. And I had to
hop in the I'm a little short, so I had
to hop in there. But and and depending on how
tall or short you are, you might might be a
little step stool. But it is really really fun and
really and it's just like it's like nothing you've ever
seen before. And I think especially for the kids, you know,
every kid that we love. There's so many things that

(21:08):
kids can do, but I just feel like this is
truly kind of it's one of the kind because I know,
I've never seen anything.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Have you ever seen anything like this before?

Speaker 3 (21:16):
I have not, And you know, you know me, Mark,
I'm a military kid. I've lived all around the world
and I've never seen anything like this before.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
And it's I got it.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
If I tell you, you know me, if I tell
you something's pretty dangle, it's pretty dankol.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
And you'll try just about anything.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Within reason now ocasion. I'm just getting introduced to your audience.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
We don't want to get too deep today, but within reason.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
You know, with the holidays and you know, Christmas and
Hanukkah the New Year, it's stressful for many people. And
it's I mean, you know, what do I give Uncle Billy.
I don't want to give them a tie again. I
don't want to give you know, Dad another belt? Yeah,

(22:07):
is this a great escape.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
It's a great escape, and it's a great gift.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Honestly, get dad, uncle, even Grandpa. I'm serious, Honestly, this
would be a great gift for anybody if you're if
there's anybody that you're like struggling, like, oh what should
I get them? I think this is a great idea,
just because, like I said, it is so much fun
and it is like nothing they've ever seen before. I

(22:35):
gotta tell you, whoever you if you get someone tickets
to Bubble Planet as a holiday present, I can guarantee
you they're gonna be super deeper grateful, and then whatever
they got you for Christmas, they're probably gonna go get
you something else.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
They'll probably be like, you know what, you actually deserve more.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Now now it's just opened as we uh uh are
recording this.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Yeah, how long is it going for?

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Do you know?

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Actually it's going to be going all the way until
September of twenty twenty six, so lots of opportunities to
go more than once, because I mean there are going
to be, you know, little things.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
It's like I said before, I don't think.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
It will ever be the same thing twice. You know,
I think you'll be able to discover something new that
you love about this experience every time you go.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
So yeah, do the exhibits and I'm gonna call them exhibits.
It kind of reminds me of an interactive museum. Do
they change the exhibits or to it?

Speaker 3 (23:37):
They definitely do, definitely because like I said, it's going
to be here all the way through September, and you know,
and then it's like they kind of tailor make the
immersive exhibition for different cities.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
You know.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
So here in La you know, we got a lot
of traffic, We we got a lot.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Going on here.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
So for here, I really think the name of the
game is fun escape. Forget about the stress, forget about
the traffic and how you just had road ridge in
the car. Check that at the door when you walk
into the bubble. Because I know a lot of us
are in our bubble, and our bubble is full of

(24:20):
news and being worried about money, being worried about this
and that. I think it's nice to kind of like
burst that bubble and happ into a new bubble.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
It's just fun where you can.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
I think that's I think that sounds terrific. And this
is a legacy of innovation from Mario like like Campo
Mario Yacampo.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Yes, he's actually the founder of Exhibition Hub, and really
that was his life's work to bring forward immersive, interactive
experiences like this, like just something that people have never
seen before, you know, I mean there's there's so many
there's so much stuff out there, but he really wanted
to create something that people have never experienced before. And

(25:03):
I'm just I'm honored to be a part of it
right now because you know, his legacy is really living
on through an experience like that.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
We're we're at a time, but I really appreciate your time, Lacndra,
And by the way, i'd love to I've got a
great guest for your personal podcast. Who is nothing nothing
about housewives?

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Okay, who is that me? We're out of time.
