But they do cuss a lot, but they funny. It's
these two young ladies out in the Midwest. This show
is called I Hip I Hip News. They are They
bring you the politics and they bring it. They funny too,
but they cuss a lot. They do cuss a lot

(03:30):
because they're mad. They always mad. Oh wow. Yeah, they
independence too, but they mad with the with the other party.
And the other party they mad with because they're not
doing enough. That's why. That's why I listened to them,

to fine. It's not that much that you have to do.
But those places they told you three four and five
hundred dollars just to do a basic W two text return,

refund isn't even the amount they get bade.

Speaker 4 (05:29):

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Only because Batman got me, got me, got me out here.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I'm on that.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
I'm with that positive power of fancy.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
There you go, my dig digital, get your book out there.
People need to get your book to man so they
know how to carry themselves, you know, financially exactly. I
know that language, y'all. You know I'm telling you, Kelly,
you don't know you inspired me to that. I went
out there, and you know, I wanted to understand about credit.
This was a few years ago too, when you know,

(06:04):
I had kids that were going to college, and I
had to go out there and look for scholarships and
cheap bank loans and you know, we private loans, and
and I had to get them cars because they was
you know, they needed transportation to get to the internship.
And I had to shop rates because at one time
you would just show up at the dealership and except
in your thing, you just was happy to you was
approved exactly like this my area.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Okay, I'll find something in this area. I wanted to
go to the Mesa on Maximum area. You know, that
was the first car I wanted. I ain't realize how
big of a car that is and all that power behind.
And I'm glad I didn't have all that under my name.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Oh yeah, See, this is the thing. A lot of
people are just happy that they just got approve. They
was holding their breath, they test driving a car, happy
the guy explaining everything to him, and you just say,
oh man, o't lord just please my credit just go through.
And they get it through already with thirty three percent interest.
But you care because you just because you got a car.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
You know, I had a seventeen percent inches rate.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I was sopy.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
We locked that car up in a home refile. I
refused to pay that whole car to the very last date.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
No man, years, eight years with thirty three percent interest rate. Man,
you can get the house. I remember taking my daughter
and JPB coming very TV. We gotta give we gotta
give the family some informational finances some time on the
level Anyway, I remember taking my daughter. Uh, we had

(07:35):
already got her the car for her before she graduated.
So she graduated and she got a job, and everything
s all right. You know what, I'm gonna need to
get you out of this car. I need to I
need to get you out of this car and get
you win in your name. But this isn't my name,
and I need to get a car. And so, you know,
this is when I didn't really understand. You know, her
credit really worked. So anyway, I went and I had

(07:58):
got her a good car, you know, good price and
everything because I had good interest rate from the credit union.
Credit Union got good great if you got good credit,
and I had. I ran in there with a seven forty.
So they was like, rady, give me right without even
just sign this signature. That's how you sign right here.
So anyway, so I said, okay, she home. Now she
needs to have this car her name right, rolled up

(08:18):
in the dealership and then stole her. Sat down. You know,
they ran her credit credit. I had gotten her little
credit card so she can build some credit. Man guy
came back the same car she already has. He said,
the prayers with six ninety five. That's what I'm talking about.
That's how they got for you. What is foolishness?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Was that two years?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
It was that two years, he said. I said, I
went to the college discount and all this question he
was asking me. She was an eight student. That's how
y'all treat eight students in your own country. I said, Man,
this don't make no sense. I said, she already got
this car. I was just trying to get her out
of You know, I should have just went ahead and
refinanced the car the credit union her name. That's what

(09:03):
I should have done. But that's when you don't really know,
you know, until you take these classes.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
To find out. Listen, you can always say no, thank you.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah, we walked, think about it.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
You know, well what your options are. If they're not favorable,
you don't have to stand for that. Don't let them
make you feel like that's the only all and be all.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
No, but I had to. I was in power because
I already had the car. We already had a car.
It's not like we didn't have no car. So I
felt IMpower working out of there. We just bounced on
out of there. And so then when I realized how
strong a credit score is in good depth ratio. I
was still able to get the car wanted with her on,
and I was able to get my soner card just

(09:46):
shows you that having a powerful credit score, paying your
bills on time. But the main thing is having that
that that that ratio, that's what they're really looking at.
So y'all, it's not always about paying on time, because
you got that little window, yo. Trying to make sure
you get your credit cards.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
At thirty utilization or the last if possible.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
That was the biggest things. Having the credit cards not
maxed out, bringing them down thirty percent.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Use, not paying them off. They don't want you to pay.
I want you to keep them down. That shows responsible
lending and payment. That's a relationship that you want to maintain.
Why can't you just make an authorized use on a
few of those cards?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I did. I put it on my American Express, which
is unlimited, you know, put on the Gold card. They
can't be destroyed. And so now she's got is hallie.
I know she good to go. Way I did my
son the same way. He's good to go. His credits work,
he can get his he can refinance his own because
he had a little bit of money for student loans,

(10:52):
so he was able to refinance in a really good rate,
which was unbelievable for student loans. That's that's the power
of credit score. Now you in controls. He felt proud
he was able to get my name off of there.
Now we're just gonna go ahead and pay it out
and get him strong, even stronger. You know, money power,
credit power.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yeah, America, right outside of America, credit means nothing.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
It's cash cash.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
And when people should be noted something about this new,
this new thing that's going on out there. When when
you listen to what went on with Donald Trump during
his court days and he had to pay that woman
three hundred million dollars and he ain't have it, and
they he said, wait a minute, is he a billionaire?
He don't have three hundred million in cash. No, it
was all tied up rich. Same thing with Elon He

(11:46):
he actually don't handle cash. He had to borrow money
from Donald Trump. Yeah, so that's why you gotta pay
attention what's going on there when people hustling arounding billionaires.
It's like he really got billionaires in care That's no, No,
they don't. Most likely, so they really the richest man
in the world man, I think some middle class people. Yeah, anyway,

(12:10):
it's the saentis they got all the money. Anyway, they
can't go off with them.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Well, I heard if you want to see rich, you can't.
You gotta leave the United States if you're trying to
see what real rich is. So shout out to airplane
flights and uh and always leave this place, and you know,
just expand your horizon across that ice wall if you're
about it.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Hopefully people should, people should really get a chance to
understand what the network and all that means. A lot
of these people got a lot of stocks and they
use stocks as collateral and then when they sell it,
they pay off their loans if they can't the bank
and just take the stock and they just walk away.
So you got to understand how this stuff works. So anyway,
Kelly Hollands, my time is up. I know we could

(12:58):
talk about money all day long doing that. It's easy,
it's right, all right, So let's talk to your guests,
JP here about his journey in the music industry. He
is also a pastor and he's a right artist.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
And then.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
Welcome going on with Jerry and Kelly.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, man. We get it on.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Thanks for having me on. I appreciate the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Wow, pleasure man insidy to keep you on. Aloun killing
that we live right around the coin shop. We think
we never seen each other.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I was I was enjoying the conversation because I'm an administrator,
you know what I'm saying. So I was enjoying. We
can talk about money all day.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Right, he loves me, right, you don't love it back?
Let it love you?

Speaker 7 (13:56):
Right, You're right, right, right, we like money, but we
don't we don't love money, right, Okay.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Right, that's right, just keep coming. That's right. Well, you'd
be over there.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
We never would have made it right.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Turn the mike over to Kelly Holland. So you guys
have a great shumrate here if you need me. Glory,
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Ba Man, thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank
you for joining us tonight past JP.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
We are so good. Thank you for having me. Greatly appreciated.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Amen.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Please let our listeners know who you are and what
it is that you do, sir.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Well, I mean, according to the flyer, it looks like
I do. I do a little bit of everything. I'm
a I'm an artist, I'm an author, I'm a pastor.
Whole resume is on there. But no, my name is
a JP and uh the name of the group is
called JP and Them, and we just recently released our

(14:58):
debut single maybe about officially two weeks ago. And uh again,
I am a pastor and I'm an artist and I
am an officer. So everything that y'all uh said that
I am, I am, I am those things.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Amen, you are he right right? I am he.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Okay, it's so great to have you on. We are
so interested in everything about you. Please just just kick
it off. What was the childhood like, what was the
family like? How did you become a pastor? What was
that transition?

Speaker 8 (15:35):
Like?

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Man, that's a lot all that once. Let's see if
we can do this. Okay. Well, I was born and
raised in church, Thank God for my mother. I was
born and raised in church. And I started playing you know,
you know, like I think every little boy you want
to play the drums. So I start playing the drums
in church. And then after I started playing the drums,

(16:00):
I believe the first instrument that I picked up after
the drums was with saxophone. Then after the saxophone was
the trumpet. Then after the trumpet. I went to the cornet.
Then I started playing around, literally playing around with the piano.
You get what I'm saying. And then I start directing
the youth choir. After I started directing the youth choir,

(16:24):
I ended up being the Youth Minister of Music. And
then next thing I know, I was not just directing
the youth choir, I was directing the math choir.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Then yeah, and so I ended up being going from
the youth Minister of Music to the Minister of Music.
And so I start, you know, directing and teaching choirs
and doing vocal training and different things of that nature.
And then in two thousand and five, I started this

(16:58):
Christian rock group called JP and Season, and we came
out with three projects, won some national awards, and got
some national nominations. Then from that I stopped that in

(17:18):
twenty twelve. In two thousand and thirteen, I started having
church planting meetings, and then in two thousand and fourteen
I planned I started a ministry that God told me
to plant and now year to date we are currently

(17:41):
one church with two locations. The name of the church
is called Goodness and Mercy Church. I'm from Detroit Michigan.
So we have one location on the east side of Detroit,
and then we have another location on the west side
of Detroit. And then God told me about three weeks ago,

(18:01):
four weeks ago that I can start back doing music again,
and so I was obedient. I did that, and then
here we are with our new single, just like fire
from JP and them.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
That's what I'm talking about. You're the date baby, you
caught us up. Thank you so much passing JT.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
And yeah, I tried to give you the short version
of it.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Oh no, you did perfect.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
I was wondering because some people they'll take those shows
and I'm just saying, Lord, let me, how did you.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Know I wanted I want to I want to be
one of those preachers when I'm saying, give me five
more minutes. That's that's what I mean. Not not not
not not thirty more minutes.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Oh Lord, that'll be interesting, right right.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
They say five minutes is uh too long for a
bad sermon and too short for a good one.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
Oh my, I'm just thankful that the sermon exists. You know,
how do you keep yourself one of those righteous pastes?
How do you keep yourself away from the noise of
this earth because I can only imagine the temptation and
the demons that want to just dance around you and
incite you with things that you think are good. And

(19:24):
so like, what is the struggle like when you're up
there on that past the level.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
You know, you definitely need to sometimes seclude yourself. You
get what I'm saying. And you got to know how
to have h prayer and meditation time you give them, saying,
because I believe both is very vital. Both is very important.

(19:53):
I believe both of very otential. You know what I'm saying, Like,
prayer and meditation is so important for me so that
I can stay on task, so that I can stay focused.
And so it's so crazy because I was just telling
my church tonight. I was teaching midweek service, and I
was letting them know, you know, we have to focus

(20:15):
on the things that are good and focus on the
things that are pure. You get what I'm saying, Focus
on the things that are right to focus on the
things that are uplifting, focus on the things that are good,
focus on the things that are joyful. You know what
I'm saying. So it's all about being focused, and sometimes
you need to get away Jesus taught at that. Uh,
sometimes you need to get away from people, you get

(20:36):
what I'm saying, so that you can, you know, really
be focused, you know what I'm saying. So that's really
my my thing. You know, staying in that word, got
to be grounded in that word. And then prayer and
meditation is very you know, key to my life.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Amen.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Now I'm I'm used to the family saying I wake
up earlier, I do my devotions.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
What is that? So let me tell you something. It's
crazy because I'm a morning person. I'm everybody know, like
I'm the early bird that gets the worm. I don't
know if they say that, you know you've heard that. Yeah,
I'm that early bird, you know what I'm saying. And
then by me being you know, ex military and being
a veteran, that didn't help, you know what I'm saying.

(21:20):
So I'm really militant and I'm just you know, God
usually wakes me up around four or five o'clock in
the morning, and that's when I talk to him. That's
when me and him we have our time, whether it's verbal,
whether it's me reading the Word of God, whether it's
me just laying on my face so that I can,

(21:42):
you know, keep my ear to his mouth. So and
then especially when you you know, you're a husband, you're
a father, you're a pastor, and now you're an artist.
You know what I'm saying. Yeah, you have to make
time for God. You get what I'm saying. And so
I've think that it's very important that we give God

(22:02):
our first fruits. I'm a firm believer. If you put
God first, He'll never make you last. And so I
start my day out with Scott.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
You do your morning prayers.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yes, meditation all that, yes, and my word before I
go to Facebook, because you know, it's just so you know,
as soon as you wake up, you go to Instagram,
you go to Facebook. You know what I'm saying. You
go to Snapchat, you know whatever it is social media
of your choice, or you check your emails or you're
checking text messages. When I when I pick up my phone,
the first thing I'm looking at at least is what

(22:38):
is the scripture of the day. Let me open up
my Bible app and you get what I'm saying. Definitely
tell the Lord thank you. You know what I'm saying,
And so that that works for me. That's that's my
regimen day man.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
Man, I was thinking about it like when I get older,
Like I'm not a full blown adult when I get older,
when I started doing devotions, like is there more than
me waking up and thanking God, taking my shower, doing
my morning prayers, making sure I hit the Bible Act.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Before I walk out and do.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Better and that I understand the verse of the day.
You know, I didn't understand the day's verse, but normally
I do so. But I'm just like a a take
what is it that my grandmother used to do getting
up at five thirty in the morning. But you know what,
you come from a different background where you used to

(23:34):
just being punctual.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
That's the lifestyle.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
I come from the background to procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate. And
I won't say my family, I'll just say that's me.
So what I had to start doing is saying we're
gonna have progress over perfection. And that really helped me
with my procrastination. You know, as long as you're having
some movement towards the goal, you know, that's.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Something to feel better about.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I'm just curious now, as a pastor, what type of
what does it take to build that sermon. What does
it take to just be convicted by the word of God?

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Honestly, you know, and this is something that I teach.
You know, my ministers that are under me and training
and my elders as well. We ought not to study
h just for the sake of the presentation of a sermon.
You know what I'm saying. When you stay ground, you know,
I read the Bible all the time, and I'm just

(24:33):
gonna be honest with you. Most of what i read
ain't got nothing to do with whatever I'm teaching that
day or that week. You give what I'm saying, okay,
you know, you just you'll just be reading, you'll just
be studying. But it's those what I call specific prayers.
You see what I'm saying. Where Okay, like we study
for ourselves, but if we want to give the people

(24:58):
on time or I'm a word, then I'll pray a
specific prayer and say, hey, okay, well I have a
ministry assignment Lord, you know here at this church or
hear at my church or and I'll say, hey, what
do you want me to tell the people? You get
what I'm saying, and then if you ask him. I'm
a firm believer, you have not because you ask not.

(25:22):
The Bible says, ask and it shall be given. You
get what I'm saying. So I ask God for revelations.
You know, He's a relevatory God. And I say, hey,
talk to me, speak to me, speak to me, speak
for me. What do you want me to tell your people?
And every time I don't know how. You know, God
is just awesome and he's just all knowing. He gives
me the right thing to say, and it's like it

(25:42):
can be a room full of people. I gave one
word and everybody feel like man, that word was for me.
You know what I'm saying. So only God, only only
God can do that. He gets all the credit. He's
the only one responsible for something like that, because you know,
he's all knowing. None of us are all knowing. You
get what I'm saying, So there's no way that you

(26:04):
could know what everybody in the room. You get what
I'm saying, major like man, you know, everybody feel like
man Pastor was talking to me. You get what I'm saying.
So only God can be responsible for something that awesome.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Amen, Amen, you are absolutely right.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Only God.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yeah, we can't take the credit for stuff like that.
It's even like even in the prophetic, you get what
I'm saying. When you prophesy the people and people are like,
how did you know my business? How did you know that?
Because I'm tapped into a source that's all knowing, I'm
not allnoying. When the Bible fist watching it, he said,
I'll release my secrets. I'll reveal my secrets to my prophets.

(26:46):
You get what I'm saying. So you just got to
be tapped into the source. You got to make sure
that you keep your ear to the mouth of God
and let me tell you them, God will definitely feed
you with word of knowledge, word of wisdom. You know
what I'm saying, standing and you know, as long as
you say what God tell you to say, you will
never be off.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Ay man, ay man, thank you so much. Tell us
more about JP and them and this. Did this group
just get together within the last three weeks when God told.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
You you can make music again? What's the bad?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Rid? Hey?

Speaker 9 (27:23):
You hit it right, Hey, I wish I had something,
you know, saying dramatic for you and theatric crew and
you know a bigger story. But the reality is is
just what you said, you get what I'm saying. Yeah,
So the story is this February twenty eighth.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
It was a Friday. God woke me up that morning,
and not only did he wake me up that morning,
but I got excited. And I'll tell you about that.
But I had a dream. And I'm not a dreamer,
you get what I'm saying. I had a dream, uh,
And in my dream, I was singing the song that
we know as of today, the debut single of JP

(28:04):
and Them, just Like Fire. And so I was singing
it in my dream, and then when I woke up,
I remembered the song verbatim. But I got so excited
in the dream that I woke up before I got
to the vamp in the dream. Because I was excited,
I had an outer body experience. So it was kind

(28:25):
of messed up because I tried to go back to sleep,
but that didn't work. So what I did remember what
God gave me because I actually remember the whole dream.
I simply woke up. I got my phone, I hit
the voice record button and I recorded, you know what
I sung in the dream. I know it was a
song I never heard before, so I know it wasn't like, oh,

(28:48):
you know, I was listening to the radio, or I
heard somebody else sing something you know, understand, or a
tune you know. I was on the elevator and something
got dropped in my spirit. So I know that it
came straight from God. And so I called my partner.
I said, ep man, I said, God just gave me one.

(29:08):
And he was out of town. He was actually on tour,
and he said, I'll tell you what. Remember this is
Friday morning. He said, hey, Monday morning, Monday morning, let's
let's let's work on it. Monday morning at eleven a m.
We went into the studio. By four o'clock PM, we
were done with the song. We had we had laid

(29:29):
all of the music down, we had laid all of
the vocals down. And then by that Wednesday, which I
believe by this time was March fifth or something like
that or March third, by that Wednesday, the song with
mixing masters. So less than a week and less than
a week, yeah, yeah, yep. And then that next Monday,

(29:55):
remember I started on the Monday. That next Monday, we
released it to the public. Yes, just like fire, Just
like fire, you hear me.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Oh wow, that's amazing. How can our listeners find it find.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Just a Yeah. Just like Fire, is available on all
digital networks. If you have Apple Music, if you have iTunes, UH,
if you have Google play Store, if you have Spotify,
Pandora titles, you know, if anywhere YouTube music. You know,

(30:33):
it's available on all digital platforms. And you can also
follow us uh on social media. We have a YouTube page,
we have an Instagram page, We have a Facebook page,
and it's at JP and NIM you know the a FIGN,

(30:54):
JP and NIM only different. There's Instagram is a little different.
It's a E and D because they're don't allow you
to use them and tymble correct. But you'll see updates,
You'll get all the latest news. We got a video
shoot coming up for the single I believe April twenty six,

(31:16):
and we got a lot of you know, big things
on the rise, you know what I'm saying. So you know,
it would be cool for people to follow us on
our social media pages.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Amen, just like fire.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Okay, you said it right, You said it right, Just
like fire. Okay they said the fire is fire, honey, Yes,
it does.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
A none to Christ and I just love you know,
I teach during the day and so when my children,
especially the ones that may be struggling and they start
to just hit them answers back to back.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Today.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
One of the things I tell them, I said, you
on fire, so.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Leave, you know, just oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
The fire of the Lord.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
And what's the message that you want this song to
bring to the people.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
I want the message to get to the people that
when you really have the holy ghosts, when you really
have an encounter with God, it should do something to you.
You know what I'm saying. You should feel it from
the crown of your head to the sole of your feet,
and then watch us when you have that feeling. You
shouldn't be shameful.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
For the Bible says, if you be ashamed of me
on earth, I'll be ashamed of you in heaven. And
I'm sure none of us realistically want God to be
ashamed of us. We want him to be proud of us.
We want to live lifestyles that make him happy, that
make him smile, that makes him proud of us. We
ultimately want to hear well done, that good and faithful servant.

(32:49):
You get what I'm saying. But in order for those
things to happen, in order for us to hear those words,
then guess what we're going to have to serve? Well,
we're going to have to do good things and then
and then you know, you know, we're ultimately we're going
to have to serve you know what I'm saying, Like,
that's that's very key. And so when when you have

(33:12):
when you have the Holy Ghost, you should have a
fire about yourself. You should be on fire for winning souls.
You should be on fire for witnessing and telling people
about Christ Jesus. You should be on fire for uh,
serving at your church, at your local assembly, at your ministry.

(33:34):
You should you know, you should just be on fire
for the Lord. You should be on fire for Jesus.
And so this song is basically talking about you know,
being on fire and how this being on fire is
a good thing. You know, you want to be on fire,
so you don't be in.

Speaker 8 (33:49):
The fire amen, Okay, okay, okay, yeah that's water wish.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Yeah, I'd rather be on fire for God. And instead
of being in the fire eternally, Oh.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Lord Jesus, you'd have made it clear, very clear. So
it says that you took a break from the music,
but then you had a group and it was a
something the names JP Seasons.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Correct that.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
Gospel.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
So no, it was a Christian rock band. We did
Christian rock and roll. Yeah, yep, so it was a
Christian rock band called JPN Season. The duration was basically
from two thousand and five all the way to twenty
and twelve. Oh yes. And then so God allowed me

(34:54):
to get at what I call a year break, you
get what I'm saying. And then and when I took
that year off, I heard God clear as they tell
me to plant a church and start pastoring. And so
in twenty fourteen till this present day, actually this June,
I'll be celebrating eleven years of pastoring. I've been pastoring,

(35:18):
you know what I'm saying, and planting churches. God has
blessed us with some multiple locations. And so then God
gave me this dream, like I feel like Martin Luther King,
I had a dream, you get what I'm saying, And
it was clear and it was evident that God was
telling me, Hey, the time is now, and it's time

(35:40):
for you to get back out there, and it's time
for you to, you know, use one of the gifts
that I have given you. Because the church is is
mature now, and it's established, and I have ministers, I
have deacons, I have elders, so the church is able
to run without me having to be there twenty four

(36:03):
to seven. You give me sending so I can go
ahead and minister to the nation's musically.

Speaker 5 (36:10):
Mm.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
And he made that transition for you and provided the
resources so that you could feed his flock. And you
have multiple gifts to feed his flock. So go on, shepherd.
We are so craful behind you, okay, he said, seed, Yes,
you love me. We love you, Lord. They feed my sheep.

(36:31):
We're feeding whatever gift you give us. We're grateful that
it can be reciprocated for the glory of God.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
I'm so excited. Wow, we have reving Pastor JP and
them on my mind.

Speaker 7 (36:51):
Hey, hey, you know what, Almost every radio interview I've
been on, they go.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
Call me what they want to call me.

Speaker 7 (36:58):
You know what I'm saying, as long as you call
me a child, agad, as long as long as at
the end of the day, you know what I'm saying,
Whether I'm reverend, doctor, pastor.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Whatever, it don't matter. Just hey, just just play, just
play the song, just like you know what.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
I'm talking about everybody, go out and get that, pull
it up on your digital platforms. We're looking for you,
just like Fay why h Yes, sad, you know it's time.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
It's your time. Please plug away.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Let all listeners know how they can reach you, how
they can support you any projects you got coming up,
and dropping the dropping the website one more time.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
So again, let's see. I believe I have a website, yes,
part Jason J. Palmer dot com. I believe that's my website.
Like you said, I do have a book that I've released.
And actually, you know, it's so funny you was talking

(38:01):
about devotion. I'm actually working on my second book of
second release. It's a three and sixty five daily devotional.
But the book that I already released is a book
titled God Helped Me to Forgive. So it's a book
about forgiveness and it's an easy read book. It's it's
not a whole lot of pages, you know what I'm saying.

(38:23):
But it's been helping the body of christis it has
been helping news saints, babes in Christ, as well as
season thinks, even senior leaders. I've had some pastors, some bishops,
some Apostles five Fold Ministry gives a profit. Evangelists reached
out to me and said, man, thank you, like I
really needed this book and this book is helping me.

(38:45):
But also again getting back to JP and them. You
can find us on YouTube again. We're working on our
video for the singles, so that's coming up real soon.
And then you can connect with us on Facebook and Instagram.
All you got to do is put in J dot

(39:08):

and then we'll come right up. And again you can
find a single on all digital platforms, So whatever digital
platform of your choice, you can just type you know what,
and if that's to just type in just like fire.
If you type in just like fire, it's gonna come.

Speaker 6 (39:27):
Up that's fire, not fire, Okay f I y A H.

Speaker 5 (39:38):
Definitely definitely let's continue to support you.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Did you call me Kellyman?

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Do you call him Batman?

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (39:57):
Okay, so are you Robin.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
No, I'm Kelly. The wife is robbing behind the scenes.
She gets credit for being seen the pastor what a
powerful show man, full inspiration, motivation, exactly what we like

(40:24):
for our listeners to hear because a lot of people
just sitting on ideas. Man, you always say if a
puppy could do it, you could do it.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Oh yeah absolutely, and if you could think, if someone
else could think it, So get to it.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
You know, I think I've seen something on Facebook and
it just touched me. So I believe it's on Facebook then,
and it really blessed me. And I would just like
to release this to anybody that's listening. And you know
how you see memes all the time, you see certain
statuses and different things of that nature. And this this

(40:59):
what I seen yesterday. I mean, this just sat listening
and it said this is that the problem is not
that you're not gifted. The problem is that you're not consistent. Yeah,
and so that struck a nerve you, you know what
I'm saying. But consistency is key. So it has nothing
to do with, you know, whether you're gifted or not,

(41:20):
whether you're anointed, whether you're called, whether you're chosen. And
it was just letting you know, like, yeah, you're gifted,
that's not your that's not your issue. No nobody challenging
your gifts. Nobody's saying that God didn't grace you. Or
or you don't have a mantle, or you're not gifted,
or you know what I'm saying, but it says your
problem is not that you're not gifted, but your problem
is that you're not consistent. So I would just like

(41:42):
to challenge anybody that may be listening and say, hey,
it's time for you to be consistent. You know what
I'm saying, and don't just be a starter, but be
a finisher.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
That's right, that's right, same, same encouraging words. I heard
Earl G. Graves say, yeah, oh you went mister Morgan.
He was at Morgan for a book signing. He said
the same thing to his audience.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Man, Wow, Yeah, they're consistency of key. You got to
be consistent. I mean even with you know, be pastoring
for eleven years, there's no way. You know, of course,
with the help of God, we already know that, but
there's no way that you can make it to eleven
years without being consistent.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
That is right. Yeah, we're celebrating I believe thirteen or
fourteen years this year, Oselves in December.

Speaker 7 (42:33):
Yeah, wow, congratulation.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Yeah yeah, starting twenty thirteen. Yeah, this radio station.

Speaker 4 (42:40):
Oh I'm I'm so sorry man, man, I thought you're
talking about your pastor, because I just want to.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Say, my pastor.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
Just celebrated his fiftieth years and very freet and retired.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
It's right, Wow, that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
Fifty years.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
And then you've been hearing about people celebrating uh a
wedding anniversion. My neighbor behind me, pastor just celebrated twenty
two years today, the tenth. Yeah, and I celebrated. And
it's funny. But when I saw that because my wife

(43:16):
and I we celebrated thirty three years five days ago,
five days ago, and him and our birthdays on the
exact same day in September.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
Wow, congratulations. So let me ask you a question. September
what tenth? Oh September tenth?

Speaker 1 (43:35):
Okay, yeah, are your birthday in September?

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Oh no, I'm August twenty third. But yeah, we're the
same sign you know, yea, oh yes, Burgo nation.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
Anything. She's gonna push it the friends out because you know,
I was gonna go there. But I'm saying Virgos have
tremendous talent, but a lot of times depending on the
relationships there and it could suppress them. So they got
to watch.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
It, and I just want to say that the work
ethics of a virgo. Oh my goodness, we're work we're workaholics.
We go get it done.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's funny you say that. Past it
because I was talking to a young guy today has
two children in an eight hour job, and he said, man,
I heard you have a puppet show because you get kids.
And I've named all the TV shows I produced. He said, man,
that's thirty hours right there. How you do it? You know,
just do it, man, just wake up and do it.

(44:34):
That's why I stay in the gym and you know,
to keep my mind strong and eat. Friend of them,
and a guy today in the canteen said, I didn't
know you drink coffee. I said, make coffee. Coffee is
very healthy for you. It stimulate your brain. You know.
Just can't put on sugar in it. It's okay, okay, well,
sugar not good. If you diabetic. You can't fool with that.

Speaker 5 (44:57):
Little batman know how to reverse it.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
So just do stay alive to keep these things going. Man,
God bless me. I'm trying to do right by him. Amen.
All right, past the JP. We appreciate you here. Man,
you're you're gonna prayer. Something are you and pleasure for prayer? Oh?

and bless us far beyond and above our imagination. Father God,
blow our minds. Father God, bless us in such great
and big ways that nobody can get the credit for
it but you and Father God. In advance we tell you,

(46:53):
thank you, and by faith we decree and declare and
say that it is though in Jesus' name, Amen, name, Man.
