Speaker 4 (02:46):
I need some help because I'm over here double guessing
myself and we all know confusion is the devil. Look,
my therapist called me today and I had some select
words for her.
Speaker 5 (03:00):

Yes, Jesus's going to work out. That's right until he

everything's gonna be. We got we got the right guests
for you tonight.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
I'm so grateful. I can use a little help.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
You can, right. I know, it's a lot of noise
out there. I mean everywhere you turn, it's just noise,
noises for me, different levels. You feel like you're in.
I feel like you're in that little bucket by yourself,
trying to crawl out and somebody pulling you back down,
you know, And that's an educator.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
I'm like, you have to understand what I'm saying, and
then I just got to give up. I just do
because I know you don't know any better. It wasn't
even a student. It was one of these mainstream suckers.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
And so.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Stop getting get it out, just let it out, get
a little screaming. But thank you, man, I appreciate that
five minutes of help.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Care you know, man, got a lot going on to
you know, you know, I like I like things to
stay the same I want to know. You know, one
of my servers is down, so I got I got
some control stuff missing which I'm used to right, Yeah,
I'm all my sound effects. Oh I play list all
that stuff.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
You know.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
The service down is in the shop. They fix is
ready to go, connecting and everything. Then my other server
goes down. It's the one that actually records our shows.
So I'm actually according the show off of the broadcast system.
So yeah, yeah, this is my backup. It's my backup.
I always say, have your backup playing. So so I
(05:21):
gotta put that computer in the shop so they're getting
all my money. Anyway, bring a long story short, because
I got to pull out to you too. Let you
know you're not in the bucket by yourself. I'm pulling
you back down. I'm pulling you down. I'm trying to
get out to you know.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
And we're gonna help each other. We're gonna pull on something.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
So you know, how men are. You know when men
get older, you know, we like things to stay the same.
We just used to. You know, like a dog, you
just can't switch stuff up on us real quick, Like
wait a minute, well you change my dog food. You know,
this is where treat come from you know, so I
like things to stay the same. So of course Mondays
and Wednesdays, I don't go into office. So many weddes
(06:05):
actually go out to the courthouse.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Oh jesu.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yeah, one thing, they pulled you out the house. Now
they send you you on assignments.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
You know, they tell me, but you gotta visit different sites,
and you gotta sit in you know, I'm not used
to sitting there. And she had three hours of getting
up when I'm ready. This is the work for me.
So anyway, so my life has changed a little bit,
and I'm trying to get adjusted on my third week,
trying to trying to get adjusted. You know, that's how
(06:35):
we wrote.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
Man.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
You know, let's give God the glory.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
We have a job, everything getting shut down, people getting
cut leaves like they're not valuable at all. Then you
got these Polish people out here thinking they don't inherited
God's favor.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Called his name's He's gonna be coming. You just gotta
be patient. You know, it comes on his time.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Absolutely, Thank you, Batman for that five minutes, and thank
you for letting me know that I'm just seeing the.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Baby the same bucket man trying to get out, trying
and get out, all right? Were you ready to talk
to your guests. She's she's gonna help you, She's gonna
the situations is going on, and you just let everybody
know that God is still here and he's in charge.
He's just letting us. We just learned. We just got
a new lesson. We learned. That's all all right, pastor Lily,
(07:27):
welcome to Late Night. How are you doing tonight?
Speaker 3 (07:31):
I am wonderful. How are the two of you.
Speaker 5 (07:35):
Stressed out?
Speaker 6 (07:36):
Doctorpping It sounds like it's a bit of it's a
bit of a frozzles uh day today it was I.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
Wasn't expecting that. I just wanted I just wanted to go. Well.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
So I'm glad you you heard our bad news, and prayerfully,
by the end of this interview today all of our
spirits will be well.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
I'm just here to see her little Preston and I'm
here you guys need me here.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Thanks Batman, thank you so much for joining us today.
We are so grateful to have you on Late Night.
Please let our listeners know who you are.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
And what it is that you do.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Well again, my name is excuse me Pam Lily. I
am not a pastor. I'm a missionary. So let me
just that I don't claim to be a pastor. Thank
God he didn't call me to do that. That's a
big job. But I do. I am a missionary with Crew.
(08:48):
I am actually right now on affiliate staff because God
has me doing some other things as well. But I'm
from Louisiana. I live in Texas now. I'm a mother
of three adult children. My husband and I are a
blended family. We have five grandchildren, and we are We're
(09:08):
quite committed to serving the Lord through our church and
through different different ministries. And I have recently written a
new book called The First, The Only the Few, which
is my second book that's been published. But so I'm
just coming here just to hopefully shed some light on
(09:33):
and give some insight on what God is doing to
promote unity in Christ through me and others.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Amen, and thank you for being here to promote How
did you get started with your author career? Were you
self published the first time out or did you have
friends that kind of help you reached the mainstreams.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
I was self published the first time. The first book
I published was the first that only the few and
I started writing because God gave me the title to
that book. Let me let me rephrase that. My first
book was Mary Morning Martha Day. Okay, and God gave
me one day in my quiet time, he whispered to me,
(10:17):
in his still small voice as he does, he said,
a Mary morning makes for Martha Day. And I pause,
like I'm doing now. He said that.
Speaker 6 (10:34):
If I thought of that, if I had said that,
I wouldn't have said. I wouldn't review those.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Pronouns for what? But two, I don't speak like that
of the day, right, And so it was one of
those moments I knew immediately that it was the title
to a book. And as I work with the books
over the years that it does take to write and
publish a book and to Marry Morning mark the day.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
Okay, I like it.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
I still like it. And what was the piece summarized
that piece of literature for us?
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Sure, because we want our listeners to support.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
This is a book that really came out of my
uh just as an overflowing for my quiet time, and
the real inspiration behind the book is to encourage people
Christians to keep that quiet time with the Lord on
a daily basis. It works for me in the morning,
(11:41):
but it can be any time of the day. But
the overarching theme is when you spend time with the
Lord on a daily basis, it sets you up for
a gracious day of service the Lord.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Amen, it does.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
I was asking one of our past guests about devotions,
you know, I always hear my mother, my grandmother, other
church members. They say I'm having my devotion time, and
I really wasn't sure what that consisted of. And then
when they explained it to me, I was like, well,
thank you, Lord. We've been doing this for a long
time already, you know, having our time in the morning,
(12:20):
you know. And sometimes it's best for me to think
of my relationship with the Father as if he's sitting
right across from me, you know, because that's what the
relationship is supposed to be, like that literal And some
people they just say, oh, it's a spirit.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
Above and X, Y and Z.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
No, You're Savior knows exactly what you're going through and
he just needs you to acknowledge him so he can
do its good work. And so I think, me speaking
out loud, what my frustrations worth this evening? This is
my That is my conclusion of it, and so I
just want to thank you for being here for me
to receive this revelation at this time. You never know when,
(12:58):
where or how. You know, he's just waiting, waiting for
for a word. Like you said, Yes, the inspiration behind
your next book.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
The inspiration behind that one. Again, it's one that God
gave me the title to. He said to me one day,
I was at a crew conference pre doing some pre
work in theology in the courses, and he gave me
that title, The First, the Only the Few.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
Oh, what about your book after that?
Speaker 3 (13:34):
So so I've only published two so far. You may
have gotten when that I do. I have some other
things written, but I haven't published them yet. Got some
actually the first thing I've ever written, I haven't published yet.
But when God says it's time, I will. And if
you'd like for me to tell you more about The First,
(13:55):
the Only the Few, I'm happy to do that. Go
for it. You're so this book was really inspired, I
guess really by my entire life. God gave me this
title the day that actually it was right after the
(14:15):
shooting at the Mother Emmanuel Amy church. Oh wow, exactly,
And of course the country was at a you know,
at a place where there was so much hurt and
so much confusion going on. But God wanted us, wanted
to emphasize the unity part of his message, right, And
(14:40):
so I kind of start off the book explaining the
fact that I was born about one hundred years after
slavery ended, Okay, and my first day in kindergarten was
the first day of desegregation in my hometown. Oh no, yes, ma'am.
And so I kind of feel like God's been writing
(15:02):
this story my whole life.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
Amen, I agree.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
With me at that place in you know, Louisiana and
a small town at this place and time in history,
the journey I've taken with the Lord. I accepted Christ
at the age of seven.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Yeah, how do you know you've got a relationship with
God at seven?
Speaker 4 (15:27):
What about those teenage years and informative years and the
early twenties where you were you always in the church?
Speaker 6 (15:34):
Mother was.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
You're just trying to figure it out like some of us, Right.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Well, I think every Christian has ups and downs in
their lives. And there are always times where we feel
close to God and there are times when we feel
far from God. And that's the Christian journey, you know,
I don't think any of us, no matter how devout
we are, can say that we've never had a problem
(16:02):
or we've never gone through anything. You heard me say
that my husband and I are a blended family. So
I've had my ups and downs in life as well,
hey man, and praise the Lord. We've been married for
thirty five and thirty six years, and so it's yes,
(16:25):
it is amazing how God can heal, you know, brokenness.
So no, it has not always been you know, honky dory,
as we would say that it has been. It has
been a walk where I know, without a shadow of
a doubt that God has always been with me and
he's never left me. Conversion at three, age of seven. Yes, yes,
(16:47):
and I've been walking with the Lord a long time.
And yes there are times when even someone who has
the capacity to write Marrid Morning, Martha Day can growth
scale in our quiet time.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
You know, sometimes I'm a little hard on myself, like
I could have did better, you know, that could have
been more focused. Sometimes I find myself scattered in my devotions.
I don't like that because I feel like I'm being sabotaged.
But but I get it, you know, And now I
understand the importance of it starting your day with the Lord,
covering yourself from the things of this earth that we
(17:28):
are dealing with, you know, and and the importance of such.
Oh yeah, I'm so glad that that that I'm going
that path, and I hope a lot of our listeners
are at that point when they're able to say, you know,
I choose God, I choose my savior, you know, and
and there's no confusion about it. And so I'm grateful
(17:50):
when we have our servant leaders out here. I'm creating
content in all different types of forms so that we
can gather the sheep for the Lord, you know, and
bring them all to his grace. And so I'm grateful
for all the vehicles that he puts that he's promoted
in there we go. We got songs, we have literature,
we have many different areas and all different genres of
(18:14):
songs and just all different stories that just give him
the glory one way or the other. And so I'm
grateful to be a part of that. I also heard
that you are quite the servant leader. You have a nonprofit.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Yes, I've worked in nonprofit in ministry for oh gosh,
about fifteen plus years. Now and it's been again. It
was one of those I guess part of my journey
where God it was a continuation of my journey. So
I spent about twenty years in the travel industry and
(18:51):
one day God showed me where the skill sets and
all of the professions professionalism and work that I was
doing in sales and marketing for the airline industry was
the same skill sets needed for fundraising. And so God
(19:12):
called me into a ministry where I began as a
church development representative calling on churches to introduce them to
this ministry called Faith Comes by Hearing, and the role
and the goal was to get the word to non literate,
unreached people groups through audio scripture. And so that's kind
(19:38):
of how I entered into ministry. And save it again.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
I said, that's such a unique position.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
You know, it is a very unique journey. And you know,
I espouse to the fact that God has a plan
for all of our lives, you know, every one of us.
We're all so uniquely and wonderfully made, and God has
a plan for each of our lives. And thank God
(20:08):
he doesn't tell us to us all at once. Right,
Oh Lord Jesus, just take a seat and say not me,
but who shows us what's next in his plan for us?
And so you're right, I who would sign up to
(20:31):
be a fundraiser? Probably not many people. And I've even
trained in fundraising as well, and so I know it
is some one of the fears that people have, along
with public speaking and you know some other things, is
asking people for money, and so it is. But God
is so gracious and he's so you know, he cares
(20:53):
about us so much that he doesn't just throw us
out on the deep end. He allows us to grow
into the he's you know, next assignments that he has
for us, and he guides and likes our path as
we follow him.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
M hmm.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
You are absolutely right. And the more obedient, the better
the relationship.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
That's what I say. I hate to be on the end.
You just got to sit there and take it. There's
nothing you can do about it. You know, messed up
in something selfish, out the way against his character.
Speaker 5 (21:30):
Now look at you.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Well, you know even when God asked me, you know, bro,
I said, he asked me. I love one of the
quote by Mother Teresa. She says God doesn't have to
ask permission to use me. He made me, I was like,
I love that. Yeah, but when God gave me the
assignment for the first thing only it was like the
(21:59):
lasting on earth. I wanted to do like the last thing, right,
but I've lived, I've lived my life going forward, and
so this makes me have to look back and dwell
on things that I really hadn't you know, thought much
about other than it's part of my life course. And
(22:19):
just kept moving, moving in the direction God was leading me.
And so to step back and to look back and
to talk about a topic that is and can be
so toxic, right so uh uh confusing for some and
and really a situation where people are really at odds
(22:43):
with one another when we have discussions about diversity and
and such. So I just it was like I said,
it was the last thing I wanted to do, but here,
but I knew I needed. I had to be obedient.
I really didn't have a choice because I've already said
yes to God. The problem is, Kelly, is we don't
know what what all we've said yes to right about
(23:06):
what you ask, But he knows he's got to yes.
Sometimes it takes me a little while to you know,
to totally submit.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
But I.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
But I won the direction he was going in because
I've always been very great commission focused, working on and
working with organizations that was focused on getting the word
to unreached people groups and the last people groups who
haven't heard God's you know, the love of God and
the scripture, don't have it in their language. And That's
(23:39):
been my life's work in ministry, and I've been intrigued
about it about these things since i was a child.
So when God asked me to move into this unity space,
I was like throwing the biggest tantrum. And when He
showed me that unity is important to the completion of
(24:02):
the Great Commission, I realized that God was that this
was not anything new. He was doing the same thing
in my life. He was just gonna use a different
method of going about it. So now, when when we
look at John seventeen, where Jesus is praying the prayer
(24:24):
right before the Last Supper with his disciples, he's praying
for He prays for himself, and he prays for his disciples,
then he prays for us. He prays for those who
will come to know and come into a relationship with
Him by the work that the disciples do. And then
he goes on to say that that he he is
(24:45):
asking us to be one in Christ just as he
and to be one with one another, just as he
and the Father are one. But he says, he tells
us why he's asking that, why this oneness, this unity
is in part and he says, so that the world
will believe that you have sent me. So it's our
(25:08):
unity is based on will. Will will show the world
that the Father sent the Son into the world for
our salvation. Then it is part of salvation. It is
part of the Great commission. It is part of getting
this word to every nation, tribe and Ethnos.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Oh, well, I can't wait to see it, to read
your book, or at least I can listen to it
on audio.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
Made it so convenient for us.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
I am working on the audio right now. It's not
an audio, but I will make it convenient for you.
It's one of the things that I have to do next.
It is something that is on my on the top
of my list.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
So your word, your world has really progressed, you know,
being a published author with all the new just like
how music has progressed in the era that we have
access to it on all these different platforms and much
like books. You can catch them instantly on your cell
(26:12):
phone or through a Kindle reader or some type of website. Like,
the literature is out there and we have greater access
to it now. But have you found the business and
it's growth to become a good tool for your team?
Or are we like Batman? We don't want to change
(26:32):
right now.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
I'm kind of like that man. I like things the same.
I like a rhythm, I like you know, the this
creature habit, like a lot of us are. But we
but we do need to embrace. I'm preaching to me
all of the new opportunities that are out there, all
(26:58):
of the new vehicle to advance the gospel. And I
know a lot of times we talk about some of
the different mediums and we say, oh, you know, that's
it's been used for, you know, things that are not
of God.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
But it's not.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
It's been used for that. But if we put our
voice in, then we can make it, make it a
tool for the voice of God as well. So we
we we have to not you know, retreat from these areas,
but lean into them. I'm preaching to means because you know,
when our voices aren't there, there's a void and it's
(27:34):
going to be feeled by something or someone.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
Oh Jesus, really as you know, as as.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Winsome, as loving, as godly as if you know you
or I and in our Christian community would feel that space.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
You never lied to you, and I promise that you
know we have our own individual struggles, but is it
makes you feel a little bit better when you realize
it's not an independent struggle, and that our father saw
for so far ahead that he knew that this ultimate
sacrifice would be the only way our innately born, sinful
(28:13):
ways could be could be modified to a point where
we're able to still get into the ultimate heaven above.
And sometimes I joke and I say, I think the
Good Lord made a back door, and I think that's
my entrance. Sit down and smile, don't say nothing.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
And you know that just expresses the heart of God
that even before he created the world and people and humanity,
that he first of all knew the way we would
go because he gave us a will, you know, and
we and we are we are exercising it. We can
(28:58):
blame it on Adam and you, but if where I
hire you or any of us, we probably would have
exercised our free will too then, and you know in
a way that was disobedient to God. But his grace
and his love and his mercy, you're right prepared ahead
of time. What would have you know, a play a
way for us to come back to Him, to come
(29:21):
back into relationship with him. And that just speaks volumes
about the character of God and his love for us.
So I couldn't have said, yeah that that I agree
with you totally. We we all needed a way back to.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
Him, and Jesus is that way, Amen, and the only
way right he tells.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
Us the the way, the truth, the life. He is
the only way back to God. And so we we
talk about that even you know, in our whether it's
in Christian circles and non Christian circles, and we go
abroad to the world, to the rest of the world world,
(30:00):
and to share what they may not know about Jesus,
and they may not know the way back to God,
to their creator, and so it's important that we exercise
our ability to share that with them as often.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
As we can, Amen.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
And I'm grateful that you're able to provide those resources
and still collect some money to keep the task going
for this for the sake of services. Okay, that magnify
our savior.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
And I'm glad that people build these relationships with your
organization so that they continue to hold a responsibility in
the growth of Christ. You know, we're not We're not Paul,
you know, old Saul Paul, who're not the disciples and
shout out to them, reach to the masses, right So,
(30:52):
but you know, I feel like we all play our parts.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
Have you ever seen these and these passes on TV?
Speaker 4 (31:00):
And they're like gangster pastors And I'm like, well, I
guess you got to catch them at their level. I
guess if for nothing else, you know, and then and
then they have a following, you know.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
And that's and that's what Paul says, you know, he became,
he says, you know, he'll become whoever he needs to
be to win someone to Christ.
Speaker 6 (31:18):
And he does.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
He does, whether he's in prison or whether he was
jew ORed, you know, preaching to gentiles that he he
would be who he needed to be to win someone
to Christ. But we see one of the wonderful examples
of even in Paul's ministry, of how people gave to
his ministry and the generosity of people who provided for
(31:42):
his missions where when he was going from you know,
from Jerusalem to to Rome and to Antioch and all
of the missionary journeys that he went on. And it
was the church, you know, gave to Paul's ministry, individuals
gave to Paul's ministry that in scripture we see it
in Jesus's life, in the life of his ministry, where
(32:04):
women and people gave to the ministry work of Jesus Christ.
So there's lots of examples in God's word of giving
and providing for those who go. And so the beauty
of it is is we all get to be a
part of what God is doing and growing in advancing
his kingdom. Even if we can't go, we can give.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
We sure can and support you in that way, absolutely right.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Could you let our listeners know how they can reach you,
how they can support you, any upcoming events you want
them to be aware of, maybe a website where you
have all these things posted.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
Please, this is your time to plug plug away.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Okay, wonderful, Well, thank you again for having me. First
of all, but both of the books Mary Morning, Mark
to Day and the first the only the few why
unity in Christ is not always black and White, both
on Amazon. The first, the only the Few is also
on Walmart Marketplace, and of course both of the books
(33:08):
can be found anywhere you buy and purchase books. They
can order it for you if they don't have it
on their shelves. The best way to reach me is
to check out my website. It's Pam Lily. That's l
I l l y dot org pamlily dot org and
you can contact me right through the website. You can
(33:29):
email directly. Email me directly at author at pamlily dot org.
And I do have a Facebook page for Mary Mourning
Martha Day if you want to check out the Facebook page.
But there's great content on the website and multiple ways
to connect with me there and purchase the book from
the website as well.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
Excellent. Thank you so much for joining us this day.
We're not done. I just wanted you to have an
opportunity to speak to the audience and gain their support
in all of the success that you have to come.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
Thank you well. I would also like to say one
of the things that we're doing now as a follow
up to the book, you know, had God told me
this is going to be part of the the assignment
again I'd probably have would have run in the other direction,
like Jonah book discussion, finding that once people read the book,
(34:28):
they really want to talk about it and they really
want to have a conversation with someone. I say, I
lend my my story to the conversation of Unity in Christ.
But I'm finding and the main one of the main
threads in the book is for us to get to
(34:49):
know someone who doesn't look like us.
Speaker 5 (34:53):
That the challenge isn't it It is, it is.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
It is a challenge. But like anything that's worth doing,
it's going to take intentionality. And so when we, you know,
put our minds and our focus on meeting a new
friend or getting to know someone for the first time,
you know, we we we there's some things that have
to happen. You know, you schedule some a lotch you
(35:20):
schedule some time together, and then you follow up and
you call and you text and you start this relationship
with someone that you want to really get to know.
And so that's what I'm inviting people to do, is
to get to know someone different than you. And so
we started these discussion groups and we've actually vic did
(35:40):
our first one and it went so well that the
people that were there want to meet again.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
And so.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yes, they want to meet again, because once you start sharing,
you know, in these very vulnerable spaces, but safe spaces,
you don't want to have to retell the story over
and over again. So it's to continue to travel with
the same people. Right, We're so journals together on our
(36:08):
way to unity, and so they want to meet again.
And so I'll have to start a second and probably
a third and a fourth book discussion so that those
people that you know come to those individual discussions can
continue to meet and grow together in unity, because it
really is all about our growth in Jesus Christ.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Absolutely, but just you taking it upon yourself to come
up with another way to reach people. I think that's
an awesome way, you know, using the technology and and
and just gaining access to others, you know, in the
in the way that they can relate to they have
a community of people that are joining them when you
(36:52):
have these discussions, and so that's a great way. And
maybe they can be recorded just in case you have
some latecomers in and then you have your package right there.
I mean, it's no point not putting the package together.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
So we we're building the plane as we go, as
they say in my industry. And so yes, we are
being mindful of making of putting a program together, building
templates and ways that people can engage because obviously this
is this is the work of the Body of Christ.
Speaker 5 (37:26):
Yes it is.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
And I know for a fact that I'm not the
only person called to this space. I see people, you know,
go in the spaces I getn't go into, who have
such a passion for unity, and so it's like God
is drawing us together, you know. And so it's such
(37:50):
a beautiful thing because God has called so many people
to this work, and my prayers that we're able to
find one another, support one another, and be ref sources
for one another. So I'm also in the process of
vetting and identifying resources for the reader, because this is
just this book is a book of awareness. This is
(38:11):
step one in this journey for people who have not
engaged in the space before. And so I'd love being
able to say, here's a great Bible study, here's some materials,
and point them to some of the things that are
already being done that's upstream from what I'm where I
(38:34):
enter this space, so that they can continue to grow.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
You know, that is amazing and now you're reaching the masses,
you know, and letting that technology work for you. Someone
told me a long time ago, say, if you want
to buy this expensive stuff, you need to figure out
how you're going to make it work for you. I
know every avenue, but I'm sure there's somebody that does
(39:02):
this for fun and uh, to help, you know, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
And that's what I found. Yeah, that's what I found
is that you know, I'm not the social media guru.
You know that from the few few handles that I have,
and it's just not where I live. I prefer not
to engage in that way. A lot of that comes
from my days as a missionary, when we had when
(39:31):
we couldn't have a public face on social media because
it would be dangerous to travel. And that's part of
my psyche. Part of my psyche is is not having
a social media footprint anywhere. But you know, I've had
to come out of that. But there are people that
God has put in my in my world and in
(39:52):
my space and in my and and now are like
family to me that that love it and that know
all the in and out about it. So thank God
I don't have to learn all of them. With people
who are just as passionate about.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
This exactly, and it's easy.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
For them exactly.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
Yeah, oh you like this, I could use your help
and so and that's a great way that we can
bring in, you know, new ideas to a concept that's
already working. You know, starting from the ground can be
a struggle, but you know, taking those skills and advancing
them with people that we can communicate with, you know,
(40:35):
because sometimes that's a barrier, and also you know, and
also allow them to gain that experience you know, while
they're helping out on the project. This is all great news.
And I love how you're able to draw people in
and give them a task and a purpose. You know,
they can say, hey, I participated in this project, or
(40:56):
I'm the one that's set up this platform, and so
out out to those that are tech savvy, we need
to help. Please offer us your rates and we'll try
to live up to what you can't you don't want
to somebody.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Right, well worth our wages, right And God is a
god of abundance, and he's a generous god, and all
of us have work and should be compensated for that.
And so it's just it's just one of those things
where I'd just like to emphasize that, you know, it's
(41:36):
it's not only does God bring me someone who knows
social media, but they have a passion for this cause.
So for them to not only be able to use
their gift, but use it for their calling right on
something that is a God given desire and a God
given uh passion, it takes off two boxes.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
Right it does.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
It's this good work in the space that they love.
And so that's just how kind and wonderful God is
to us and how He's knitting all of our lives
together and he expects us as the Body of Christ
to work together because we all have different gifts and talents,
and he expects us to use them together as a family.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
As a body exactly. And that's why I really took
to your book. You know, you were saying how people
are having conversations that don't look like you, and you know,
being open to having those conversations and not being shy
when you're in the room to network, you know, just
just going around and having a conversation. Sometimes you'll find
(42:47):
that there are people there that have the same passions,
the same goals, and they could do their part to
make this project a success and so absolutely well, shout out.
Speaker 5 (42:58):
To you, miss Lily.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
You raise the money, you do the work, and we
are enlightened by your portion of by your assignment rather
from the Christ.
Speaker 3 (43:10):
Amen. Thank you.
Speaker 6 (43:12):
Well, it's hot.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
It's the thing that we've discovered is that it is
difficult work. And when people come to this conversation it,
we come with all different types of emotions. You know.
Some people come to the conversation with anger. Some people
are sad, some people are really passionate about it. Some
of us feel guilty, some of us are just weary
(43:36):
from having the conversation. Right, some people get defensive, you know,
there's there's some people are curious, some people feel shamed,
And so we have to create a space and a
attitude ourselves personally that will win people, that will draw
them to us, that will allow them to ask questions
(44:00):
and have the conversation without putting more burden on them. Right,
we're trying to take birds off. But the Lord said,
Jesus says, my you know, my yoke is easy and
my burden is light, and so you know, we're not
trying to yelp people and shame them, and we're trying
to remove all of those things that the devil uses
(44:22):
to keep us separated and remove those you know, off
of one another and allow us to process and work
through it so that we can work together and we
can represent the body of Christ. Like Jesus said, He's
coming back for the for a church without a spottle
(44:43):
wrinkle that he said, I'm coming back for a church
that I can present to myself in splendor. And so
how do we be that splendid church? How do we
be that church that Jesus is coming back for?
Speaker 4 (44:57):
So this is what this is all about, same man,
and we are thankful for your your hand in the work.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
Amen, batman. Do you have any last words?
Speaker 2 (45:09):
That was say Pastor Lily. She's preaching sometimes you know,
you know how to give people, you know, honorary doctorates
and things like that for the work that they put
in work. Go ahead, I'm about to say, Pam, Lily
(45:33):
deserved that.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
You know.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
Well you listen, she said, the Good Lord has frushed
upon her this admission and and and reluctantly She's gonna
get it done.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
You know, you know, Pam, most most pastors walk walk
in different forms. You know, you don't always have to
lead like a flock. You don't always have to be,
you know, organizing a community. Sometimes it's just the work
you do for the with this this pastioring over people,
you know, just them watching.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
You're exactly right, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
The same for me. I know, I know, I don't
have the patience to deal with three hundred people.
Speaker 5 (46:14):
You know, maybe not three hundred.
Speaker 4 (46:17):
But you are great at like calming the situation down
by offering a new perspective and helping people to gather themselves.
And it's always with kind and inspirational, god felt words.
Speaker 5 (46:29):
So we're not going to.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
Lower Batman in this city about yourself. Give Batman a call.
Speaker 5 (46:36):
He'll talk to you, you know, for a good little while,
you know, tell you all.
Speaker 4 (46:41):
His connections, the things he got going find out if
you have some talent to come on a positive power
family ain't gonna make you feel good.
Speaker 5 (46:49):
Your prayers on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (47:00):
Speak it. But again, we appreciate you coming on the
show and sharing your journey, you know, inspiring people because
some people just sitting on the couch just listening, and
maybe this gave them hope. They want to go out
there and do something, do something.
Speaker 4 (47:14):
Right, Press forward and a mission the Lord gave you
a while back, you know, press for.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
Right, bring it back, bring the energy back. But we hope,
we hope you energize them, hope. Amen.
Speaker 5 (47:28):
Amen, Amen.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Right.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
I'm just so glad that we were able to have
her on the show because I can just tell the
way our shows are going out overseas that the people
are really you know, connecting with the shows because of
what we're we're feeding them. Is not any people not
on here bragging how many cars they have, how many
big homes. They're talking about the work they're doing for
the Lord, and we appreciate you doing it today.
Speaker 1 (47:53):
Amen.
Speaker 5 (47:55):
Amen, Amen, You're welcome, O.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Dont no worries. We are glad to have had you,
and we will welcome you back. And I'm sure we
would love to invite you to the studio live. So
you just let us know what your calendar looks like
and maybe Batman can put something together for us. Right,
it happen, Absolutely will make it happen. Let's go ahead
(48:22):
and close out in prayer. Father, God, we thank you
for this day and for our daily bread. We thank
you for being our consistent God. We thank you for
fighting off all our hurt, harm and danger. We thank
you for being consistent in our lives forever, that you
have your unconditional love for us, and we pray that
you never turn a deaf ear towards us, for we
are yours Father. We asked that our listeners be blessed.
(48:44):
We asked that our guests be blessed, and we ask
that all of the equipment be blessed that you have
that you have provided for Batman, and I ask in
Jesus saying that you continue to help us reach the masses. Father,
we love you, we thank you, and we pray.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
Amen. Amen, Amen, Amen, you're not done.
Speaker 2 (49:08):
