Here's the pitch. All right, welcome to the launch
(01:51):
Angle pod. I'm Rob D and here with Jeff
Zimmerman and we got a wonderfulThursday, April 10th day.
This morning we got a lot of stuff to talk about.
Chiron Paris is the hit of baseball setting records,
American League records. Jeff, what's going on today?
Not much. I just got a got a major track
(02:12):
meet, so as soon as we're kind of done here, I'm going to go
sit, sit in the sun for a while.Nice, nice.
Is it like a state kind of thingor competition?
It's. It's not state yet, but it's
kind of a kind of a big pre one. They actually run it where they
have state. So a bunch of people come in
bunch of different classes. It's it's two days long.
(02:32):
So I mean, it's kind of a long one.
The problem is the boy runs likeonce today and then tomorrow he
runs at like 8:00 in the morningand then like at 5:00 at night.
So I'm not staying. I'm going to go find the.
I don't know if I'm coming home or if I'm just going to like the
library at the college and rightfrom there.
I haven't decided yet. Is is is library at college?
(02:53):
You're like the local bar. You're going to like that.
Sounds like a bar, a bar, a bar name to me.
The. Little Bowl library, there's
some universities the same as like Wichita State.
Any of the bars around the campus is pretty rough.
Or or did a bunch did a bunch ofthe the young females at the the
(03:13):
college get a restraining order against you going back to those
bars anymore so you're not you're not legally allowed to go
within 200 feet of the local campus bar There's.
Been a couple of those, more with the military than with when
I was in. College.
Yeah, like the last time you went and you're like hey baby,
(03:35):
do you know I drafted 2 DHS in the 1st 2 picks in my Oxen Traft
and they're like Sir, please leave me alone.
You know, you know, if they're akeeper, if it's like you got 222
utility spots. Oh, just.
One, yeah, it's an impressive woman to be like, how stupid or
drunk were you when you drafted Schwarber after you had already
(03:57):
bought out time? Like, it makes no sense.
What were you thinking like? What do?
You think about the bar, I mean try to death clear those from my
memory. So, Jeff, how how are you
watching those Karl Schwalmer bombs on the bench?
I don't know. You don't know he's hurt, right?
He's hurt. Is he?
Oh, he's hurt. That was just the strategy,
(04:18):
yeah. He was just going to think that
he's hurt and he's on the bench.Yeah, and instead he's and
instead he's putting an MVPS. What it like I I haven't looked.
I assume he's out earning Ohtaniso far this year.
What surprised me? Like he's been awesome.
It's early. He's not looking.
Did you won't? No, I'm.
Not gonna have the college five other teams.
I I also was gonna see how much Schwarberg I did have.
(04:40):
I have my other auction. Sure, but you don't have Ohtani
on that team too. Ohtani is 6th on the player.
Right. Oh, OK.
So they're both awesome. Both awesome.
Both. Awesome, Jeff, how much?
Man keeping from the other guys in the league.
That's true. Keep this out of the pool.
You're you're playing 4/4 dimensional chest here, 4
(05:02):
dimensional chest. If we run the 80th percentile
next year and the auction champions are off, it's because
Jeff has Swapper on the bench. Well, no, this, this is it's
going to be brought up every episode, Jeff, until.
It's it's in my contract. I'm not allowed to do a launch
angle this year without bringingup the Schwarber Otani auction.
(05:24):
One thing that keeps coming up daily in the Discord guys is the
Sutter Health park, you know, stay away for the pictures.
It's going to be a disaster. Dylan C's had a bad start there
recently, but any early thoughtshere?
I mean, already some people are talking about, you know, just
fading most of the pitches except the top tier.
(05:46):
I mean, I don't I'm not that faryet.
I want to see how it gets in thesummer.
But I mean, I don't know, I think it's a little bit of a
maybe of a too much of A predetermined move so early in
the season. What do you think, Jeff?
I think there's two things goingon.
One, and it all involves the athletics.
I think the park looking at it, it was supposed to be playing
(06:08):
like Minnesota, Kansas City. It's like the same size and
everything. Maybe there's some other win
stuff going on. But one, the athletics can hit
the ball like they're they're actually like top third in the
league in projected hitting stats.
They're also almost like dead last in pitching.
(06:29):
So any team that comes in, it's not because it's a launching
pad, it's because the Athletics pitching sucks is what part of
the problem is. I mean, it's like, I mean, if
Colorado's pitchers were there too, they would just get lit up
too. It's not that's part of that's
one of the biggest issues. So I think it's kind of, I think
it's just the Athletics. It's like they put them in kind
(06:49):
of a normal park. Yes, their offense is going to
go up. I mean, it it really couldn't go
down. Like playing in Oakland was just
horrible with all the foul territory, big size and
everything. So yes, it goes up, but I'm not
really making any big changes onit.
Like, OK, one guy over 2 weeks of freaking park factors and
(07:11):
after talking to Appleman for multiple years, he's like, it
really doesn't stabilize for three years.
So we're kind of, I think, just go with whatever the early
season is and just understand that Oakland's kind of a, you
know, diverse team where they can hit and they can't pitch.
Yeah, Hey, hey, Rob, what's going on with the Torpedo bats?
(07:32):
Did they stop working since Week1?
Because we like literally 10 days ago it was this is like
breaking baseball. They need to be banned and
everything is awful because these Torpedo bats and the last
three games, Detroit Tigers starting pitchers, I don't think
I've given a upper run to the Yankees.
(07:53):
So there's a reason why you don't make these decisions based
on one series for a week of likewatching baseball because it's
fucking baseball. You went to the Mets Jays game,
the Jays could not score a run against the Mets against the
Mets and they go to Boston and they suddenly can't lose against
Boston. Like it's it's baseball.
(08:16):
So I don't know, like Jeff's explanation makes a lot of
sense. Maybe the park is going to play
like like a Mickey Mouse park, but I don't think he can make
that decision in any kind of a rational way based on on like
this. So I mean sit your guys if you
wanna sit them. I just don't know.
(08:36):
That's great process right now. And I think Jeff explanation
about Oakland, the team like that makes a ton of sense.
But if you're gonna sit pitcherswho are going up against
Oakland, are you sitting pitchers who go against the
Yankees? OK, I get that.
Against the Dodgers. Sure.
How about the Cubs? How about Arizona?
(08:58):
The Saint Louis Cardinals are fourth in baseball and runs
scored this year. Are you avoiding the Cardinals?
Probably not. But like, you can't fight.
Like, I don't know, you can't play that fucking game.
You're you Like it's, it's, it's, it's the like slippery
slope of well, pitchers get hurt, so don't draft pitchers.
It's like, if you can't start your pitchers against anybody,
(09:21):
then guess how your team's goingto do.
Absolutely, yeah. I I totally agree that no, like
even if you look at the park, the stack has park factory, like
just said, you need that three-year stabilization.
If we just looked at this year and you just looking at Sutter
Health park being 7th and park factors 114.
But then Oracle Park is 8th, which historically has been like
(09:41):
28th in the three-year rolling. So you'd, you'd also be like,
oh, that's new too. And you know, don't start your
pictures there. So I don't know what I did find
interesting with that sort of health park right now is seeing
the third least amount of pictures per plate appearances,
kind of like what Jeff alluded to with the foul territory in
Oakland. That was like, you know,
(10:01):
extends, you know, bats and everything.
So it's just, it's just too early right now to really get
into that. I I just think it's, you know,
like a guy like Jeffrey Spring. I think he was kind of like
right on that line where everyone was worried like, oh,
is he going to blow up there? Is he is he, is he going to, you
know, and he's had some good starts there.
I I don't think it's anything toworry about right, right off the
(10:23):
bat right now. And yes, like Rob, I mean, let's
make an icon, you know, let's make a torpedo icon on the NFPC.
So I mean, they can't even, theycan't even show if anyone's
starting or sitting. So they're not going to put it.
But that's why we have Yahoo. The best, the best part of the
Yahoo thing is like Yahoo can't fix like if a player played like
second base 17 years ago, Yahoo can't change their position.
(10:46):
But 13 minutes after like Jazz hits his third home run.
They have a fucking torpedo iconon there.
It's really incredible. I I really wild to me, but
anyway, heading over to Jeff's week 3 fab big big kid ads.
If anyone's not familiar with Jeff's article on fan graphs, he
(11:07):
looked into the high stakes world of recent transaction the
week before. Actually, Jeff, I noticed that
you have Week 2, so you just count like that first week as a
nothing week. Well, some people didn't even
could even that. Week Yeah, true, true yeah, I.
Was like, if you don't want to, but it was like it wasn't, Yeah,
it's like. I mean, Tom have this
conversation every time we do the fab pod because he sends me
(11:30):
the like a file, you know, of the fab moves and and and last
two years. I'm like, dude, it's week 3.
It's it's not Week 2. And he's like fine, fine.
He so he he finally just adjusted it so we can like align
because so many people called 3 and so many people called the
second week is that little stub week.
Like you said, not all the leagues are are fabbing.
So most people put a 0 and. I don't even think like in most
(11:55):
formats, like they could even fab.
I mean that's kind of an NFPC thing that first week like most
of them maybe they can, but theycan fab one of my leagues fabs
like right before it is like Wednesday or two.
First games were on Thursday, right?
Like we could fab the night before that.
So I I don't know, it's like thefirst full one.
That's the way I look at it. Maybe I'm wrong.
(12:17):
No, it's all good. Hey, that's, that's, that's your
outlook on it. I didn't want to confuse anyone.
If I say week 3 and they go see yours is Week 2 on the you know
on the on. The my my approach to these
things, Jeff, is if you're goingto be wrong about something,
better to be wrong about which week of fab it is than drafting
2 utility only players in an auction league.
Like if you're going to make a mistake, this is the better
(12:39):
mistake to make. Just my just my opinion.
Jess, you had a interesting write up on Chiron Paris.
You were completely out it seemslike.
Tell us a little bit more about this.
Well, I don't know if I was completely out like he's
playing, he's hot, like he's roster.
Well, I just I saw some of the higher bids and it just wasn't,
(13:03):
wasn't what I was willing to do going hundreds of some hundreds
of dollars on him just because doesn't have much of A history.
And there's still a few things with his profile that I don't
like. Like he's just swinging and
missing a ton. He's only crushing 4 Siemers
like every like every one of hishome runs is off of 4 seamer.
Maybe don't throw him a four seam fastball.
(13:25):
Like I'm sure maybe some pitching Staffs will eventually
catch on to that. And I like I said, we I think
he's worth adding. I'm just I don't know how long
this hot streaks going to go andmaybe he's made some huge
changes. He's he is pulling the ball a
(13:45):
lot more. I know that you're probably been
looking at that. He's putting it in the air, but
he's got a 50% home run to fly ball rate.
I'm sure that's sustainable. So many players have been able
to keep that up over the years with a Bab up over 400.
So I'm, I'll be intrigued to seewhere he settles up at.
I mean, if he continues at this rate, he'll be the greatest
(14:06):
player of all time. I mean, I mean, no one, no one's
done it. No one's had a, you know, good
50 Angel fly by, fly ball rage. Yeah, just put the ball in the
air. Every other one's going out of
the yard. There's also like last night it
was like Jose Caballero hit a home run.
Like, wait a second, what's what's going on there?
Like at the park, like everyone is getting a home run last
(14:27):
night. So it'll be interesting to see
where he goes. It's kind of some of these guys
where like they're have a his strikeout rate is down.
But like I said, he has a careerhigh swinging strike rate.
So that's we'll have to see where that comes up and where
the Babbitt goes down to becausehistorically he's even in the
pros and so forth. It's been bad.
So enjoy it. I just, I just wouldn't break
(14:51):
the bank on adding him is what Iwas.
I think more what I stated in the article.
So Rob, you may not have heard of this, but he went to Aaron
Judge's swing doctor last winter.
It's just like just that's the kind of next level research I do
on these guys. The list, the list of like his
(15:12):
Schemer 600 comps that Jeff included in his article is
spectacular. Because I agree with Jeff, most
of these guys sound like made-upbaseball players like Yarnall
and Carnacion. I don't know that Encarnacion
brother like a lyric Sula re also sounds makeup like a few of
(15:35):
these guys. I've heard Edward Hodo Hodo like
there it's anyways, it's a spectacular list of comps.
There's a pretty good chance this is the best week of his
career like that. He's having the best week.
He could have it like a 10 year Major League career and this
could be the best week of his career.
So like if you got him in fad, you're obviously rolling him and
(15:57):
feeling pretty good about the world right now.
I, I, I share in some of the skepticism.
There's a better chance that he will be back in the minors at
some point this season than he is an All Star this season.
But I think that's a pretty I don't think that's a hot take.
I think that's like a fact. I think, like when you look at
(16:20):
that Steamer 600 comp list, I think it's another reason to
really not pay attention to projections for a player like
this. That is a joke.
I look at these players and I'm like, that's, that's that.
This isn't real, you know. Yeah, like it sounds like it
sounds. It looks like Jeff has a random
name generator on his computer that generates random names with
(16:40):
like random shitty stats. But I used projections too, and
I completely didn't even look atsteamer 600 for him like and I
did and I laughed at 26 stolen bases.
I mean, he has eight in 135 plate appearances in his small,
you know, brief MLB career with an LBP that's 286.
So if he does get on base a little bit more, I think that 26
(17:02):
stolen bases is, is completely laughable.
It's just this is where this is where I just think if like
you're holding on to projections, you're just going
to inhibit a little bit of your top end like upside, you know,
like if you're just holding on to this steamer 600 and saying,
oh, this is the player he is, heis like Alaric Shualari, you're
just going to I think you're going to lose out.
(17:22):
You know, I just, I don't know, That's just.
What if? What if you were a big Arab?
We lost you. Hey, sorry.
No, it's OK if you're a big, if you're a big fan.
Shaharu fan then maybe that maybe seeing that comp push
makes you raise your bid by a couple of bucks, I don't know.
(17:43):
Just a couple, just a couple bucks.
But no, I know because like I I definitely get you guys point
like it could be 100% his best season, his career.
I didn't I didn't bid enough. I I only got him in a couple of
leagues. I didn't get him in the main.
I got out bid by maybe like 10 bucks.
I mean, I should have went a little bit more and just been
aggressive and hopefully it pansout.
(18:03):
But like Jeff, you like you, youmentioned that you would rather
have like Gabriel Arias. Like if it's if, if the
positions, it didn't matter. I mean, you, you, you bring up
the swing and strike. I mean, Gabriel Arias has a 20%
swing and strike rate for his career in 600 plate appearances.
So like, what's the difference? Why would you rather have him?
How much then like maybe someonewho's like actually going to,
(18:26):
you know, maybe bust through a projection mold then Arias?
We've seen who he is and we knowwho he is.
I think the one thing with Ariasis either I have no faith in his
competition there. The problem is is the laugh is
like Moncada comes back. Was it?
Did he make it 1 game before he got hurt?
Even make it through the game. Yeah, you can't count that, you
(18:48):
know, that's the that's the old base Bill HQ, like by the
skills, not the role. And like Moncada, is not going
to last too. Bad.
Well, he has the skill of not staying on the field, that's for
sure. That's his skill.
Yeah, it was definitely at the time when I actually wrote that,
it was like Arias was a lot closer in a lot of the values.
And it's just, it's such a smallsample, like everyone, even I am
(19:11):
like, it's like stuff can just change so much.
I like Arias too. I'm not.
No, no, no. I, I added him to this week.
He's got a, a bad speed improvement.
You know the the, the definitelythings that he does well, but in
terms of like comparing the swing and mist style, like like
you. Oh, yeah, no, no.
Being in Paris for it, you know, and.
(19:34):
And it's just like he they're they're pretty close.
Like I said, you could have gotten them cheaper.
Yeah. For sure.
Yep. And kind of areas like, I think
this is where Paris may end up with like 59.
We'll see what they have in likethe bad batting average.
I was like looking at areas's overall.
The one thing with areas I thinkwill be nice in like a day or
(19:55):
two, still have second base where that's at.
So I think Arias is a nice little put him on your bench
when they get hurt, like you're not starting him, you're hoping
not to, but you can cover your middle and your corner
positions. You know, if you draft a bunch
of util only guys, you can put him on the bench and be able to
cover those guys pretty good. And I think that's where his
(20:19):
value is going to end up being is there?
I don't know if he's like going to be a difference maker maybe.
Like I said, like with Paris right now, maybe that's where
he's headed so. I I thought Brooks Baldwin was
also an interesting pick up thisweek.
I think I think you pick got himin a couple of spots, Rob, if I
remember correctly, and he also will eventually qualify in the
(20:43):
outfields shortstop seconds, I would think this year.
So he's like it looks stupid right now.
Obviously Paris right now you'd rather have, but I I think for
the rest of the season Brooks Baldwin might be a decent pick
up who went, but I don't know how widely he was ultimately
picked up. I I imagine he's still available
in some leagues. Yeah, yeah.
(21:04):
He didn't go. He didn't go 100%.
I think the, I think the the team holds him back a little
bit. Everyone just scans over the
White Sox. Yeah, typically you don't want
the 8th place hitter on the Chicago White Sox on your team,
so I get why that might not be asuper sexy pick up right now.
100% yeah. And it's so funny cuz looking
(21:26):
back at, at, at like draft champion season and, you know,
I, I was fully invested in not Kyron Paris for, you know,
second base. I was thinking Christian Moore
because that's all everyone was talking about too.
And every organizational report that you've read was, and, and
I'm like, Oh, Paris has, has hadsome Major League opportunities.
(21:49):
So they just going to skip over him.
And you know, I was like Christian Moore, everyone's like
hyping him up. He's, he was on the fast track
to the MLB. That's what the angels do.
They did it to Zach Neddo, they did it with Shanwell.
And everyone like was on the same page.
It seemed like because ChristianMoore had like a 440 ADP and
draft champions and here we go, you know, it's Kyra in Paris all
(22:10):
day. It just makes you.
It's just one of those moments where you just feel like, I
don't know shit. You know, I'm bad at this.
You know, it's just one of thosemoments where you think all
that. You have any teams this winter
where you had Shoei Otani and then drafted Kyle Schwerber for
rounds later because you could get over Paris as long as you
didn't do that anywhere? I bet that's.
(22:30):
True. That's very true.
That's very true. Yeah.
Book Baldwin only went for 7/18 leagues and the median winning
bid of 7 bucks so really cheap. But like you said, he he could
be gaining some extra eligibility like areas and be
able to just throw around the puck, especially with all these
injuries they're incurring to the White Sox.
Like he should be able to stay on that field for sure.
There was a lot of catcher ads this week yet.
(22:52):
Dylan Dingler, Carson Kelly, Pedro Pahas.
Did you guys have it? Any need for a second catcher or
or or go after any of these guys?
I think I didn't get hit by the injuries, but there was a ton.
I think that was part of it thatpeople were just adding them.
Also, it's not as bad as I thought I was like looking like
(23:16):
it just seems like there's a lotof struggling catchers where I
could see if someone even has like they don't want to drop
someone will bring up like Dean or Diaz, but maybe they don't
want to start him right now. A lot of these guys I don't know
if what they're playing time like it's even almost half well
(23:37):
pages podges. That was like an obvious like
Herrera's owners were picking him up like I don't I think it
was like a one for one, like I lost Herrera, I'm picking up him
and I'm sure they headed Kelly and Ding were like down the
list. Maybe someone else with that
crappy. I can't even think of like,
well, you lost a lot lost like Connor Wong, like Connor's Wong
(23:58):
guys like, well, I need paid pages too.
So it's like I think there was just a lot of demand for that.
And these were just like the best ones that are sort of
playing like Dingler make it endup getting the job.
And same with Kelly. Like they're hitting good enough
that they're playing 50% of the time and they were just the best
injury replacements that can be found.
Yeah, yeah, No, I mean, I think the difference is I think the
(24:19):
porn star Dylan Dingler is an actual like decent hitter.
So I think that like Pajas is a good catcher, but he's he's a
glove first catcher. So like I get playing every day
is what you're looking for. But I I think Dingler actually,
like, I don't mean like he should be their DH catcher, but
(24:40):
he's he's not, he's not awful. And their backup now is Thomas
Nito, who was a very, very, verybad hitter.
So I think that I think that theporn star should be playing most
days. Yes, for sure, yeah, And you
know, Paul has owners, you know, will probably be just biting it
up a little bit if if if they dosee Yoel Pozo get, you know,
(25:02):
like half the time. But it's still definitely an
even even swap out for their What about Thomas Tommy Canley
who went in several leagues and also pretty popular in main
events in all my championships. And then his usage this week
been less than ideal as to peg as a closer.
I was very hesitant to get into the Detroit situation.
(25:24):
I just thought it was going to be chaos.
I think they wanted to be chaos and not know who is going to be
the guy. But then Canley legit had some
usage of like maybe what if he is the Jason Foley that gets 20
saved you know? And I sprinkled in some $40 bids
in the OCS the previous week. I tried to get him for like 3-4
bucks. I lost out but wasn't really
(25:44):
ready to go to that 100 mark this past week in the main
event, but any interest in TommyCanley from either one of you
guys? In the fifteens, I think someone
has to some team has to roster him and just hope take a chance
on it. I think that's I think kind of
the all the other situations. It'll be interesting to see how
many Brent hers are at it since he leads the team in saves.
(26:07):
Both of his saves have been for three innings, the three inning
in variety. I'm trying to figure out how to
best capture him on my knees, knees, right, Because I'm like,
do I throw this guy out because I, you know, then you have a
double start or a really good start that you're sitting and
you can't do that early in the year.
But then I'm like, this guy's racking up that I need on my
(26:28):
bench. It's hard with him.
I think it's hard to capture hisstats, you know, like when you
think, I mean, if you see that pattern, if you know he's going
to always follow X pitcher maybe, but then you're still
really like throwing a huge dart, I think.
It was like 7 games apart between.
Was it? Did he even throw between then?
I was looking at their game logs.
He didn't. He didn't even throw between the
(26:49):
two saves. So he.
Did it? Yeah, so it's going to be tough
to yeah, I have no clue with it,but it's someone needs to own
kindly and Casey is the closer like in 15th.
I don't know if I wouldn't at 12.
I think there's just other guys in more interesting.
I would go with their. Yeah, I mean, the the only guy I
(27:10):
would have any interest in owning in the Detroit bullpen
right now is Jason Foley. I think he's pitched well in the
minors, 4 2/3 innings, like 11.57 strikeout rates, hasn't
walked anybody, hasn't given up a run.
If you have a spot on your benchand you want to spec on a
closer, Foley could get in called back up and getting the
(27:31):
job back. I think is the only guy who I
can see clear line of sight to. They could get the job.
They could run with the job and like do a fine job because fully
last year. I get why the underlying numbers
are ugly and we're all smart andapparently so is Detroit of like
he wasn't actually that good, but there's no reason why he
(27:53):
can't run with it and get your 20 saves.
So if I were going to spec on a Detroit reliever, and I'm not
saying I want to, he's the only one I feel confident doing.
Now that I've put that in the universe, Kenley is going to get
3 saves between now and Sunday and be the clear guy and in my
face. I do have fully written down for
(28:14):
tonight's prefab pod, so that's.I I hate when I steal your shit,
Rob. I'm sorry.
No, no, I think, I mean, I mean,I don't think, I don't think
we're the only ones thinking on that level.
No, no, and the, and the realityis by I so I know his ownership
in the main is 16% what I don't have.
And maybe you have this handy robber.
You've done the research becauseyou're you're somebody who does
(28:36):
research before you go on to a podcast.
Is how many, how many main events was he drafted in and
dropped and therefore eligible? Because, you know, like when I
look at my main events, one of them he's being held in, one of
them he's a free agent in, and the other ones he's not
available in, which means he obviously wasn't drafted in
those leagues. So I'm not sure what percentage
(28:58):
of main events he's available for, even though his ownership's
only 16%. Yeah, I think, I think it was
pretty. I think it was pretty highly
drafted. I don't have the.
There was a point, there was a point during main event season
where he had already been sent down and then he became like a
probably a pretty stupid pick. I, I don't have that information
(29:24):
right now, I'll pull it up right.
Well, the good the good news is this is what this in the
industry we call it tease, because by the time you get to
the the fab pre pre pod, you will have looked up how many how
many league? I mean, the math is pretty
simple. How like just go to the the main
ADP. How many was he drafted in?
And then it's minus how many he's being held in.
Jeff can get Jeff can probably get Tanner to design AA web like
(29:47):
a an Excel spreadsheet for you that can do that kind of math if
you if you. Can.
All right, we have Jason Foley. He was drafting 47.
Yeah, it's a lot, yeah, 47 to 57, so.
And he's and he's held, he's held right now in 16% of of all
means. So he's available in a fair
(30:08):
amount to them. So you say like you, you have
confidence that he could like bethe guy again.
But why isn't he up? Question like, why isn't he in
the Major League? And why did he stop picking all
of a sudden in the playoff, the most important part of the
season, and then just vanish? That's my question.
(30:28):
Those are the things I'm wondering about Jason Foley.
Like why did all that? Happen.
Just to be clear, I'm not actually interested in Jason
Foley. I said that.
My, my, I was. I was precise with my language.
He's the only Tigers pitcher or reliever as of this moment who I
would want to have on a roster. That doesn't mean I want him on
(30:49):
my roster. You did say that, right?
Absolutely right. It's fucked.
It's I mean, it's a fucked it's a fucked up logic to say he's
not good enough to be on the roster, but he immediately
becomes their closer. Also, I don't like this is
that's that's the, you know, like with him or David Bednar or
like this is the Lodge or AlexisDiaz.
(31:09):
It's like not quite good enough as of today to be in the majors,
but they're immediately going togive him the 9th inning.
Isn't that funny? Jesus Christ, baseball is so
funny. We are as fantasy players, just
really ridiculous sometimes withthat logic, because I mean, I
had him in my queue, not not in my queue, in my watch list.
And as I thought about him last weekend, you know, I'm like,
(31:32):
seriously, Like, why? Why would they just all of a
sudden, why would just be part of the roster and then and then
just, you know, and that's why Ididn't even bother to put him
like in the fab pod or anything,because it's like, I don't I
don't think this is a good process to even do this, but I
could see the road to it. And that, that's what makes
fantasy baseball completely crazy.
(31:53):
Yeah, I mean, the other thing I should point out is in spring
training he he also was strikingeverybody out and and walking
nobody and got sent down like hegave up some runs.
But but his actual performance was, it was like tremendous in
spring training and it wasn't good enough to make the team.
Really strange. You just got to wonder like
that. Something like this is what I
(32:13):
wonder. I'm like what happened behind
the scenes, like whose wife did he have sex with or something?
You. Have an old you also have an old
school manager there. Like if he pissed him off, Yeah.
Right, right. He did something to put somebody
off. Yeah, 100%.
I know it's very early to, you know, really get freaked out
about some players and but some players that you mentioned Jeff
(32:34):
earlier with like Ian Diaz, he'sone of the guys to have listed
for some play concerns. Like, you know, what are you
going to do with him? You're going to carry a third
catcher and and then, you know, not, you know, not not start
him, but you know him and WilsonContreras off the touched off
Marcus Simeon. It's kind of showing his age so
far as well. He's got a 372 OPS.
(32:57):
He's swinging and missing a whole bunch.
How do you guys, you know, if you're rostering any of these
players, how do you handle some of the tough decisions you may
have to make for them? Are you benching them?
Or you, you know, like you mentioned that for what are you,
what are you doing this early inthe season with players that are
struggling stars like, you know, like veterans, not not like a a
second year player who you know, you may be able to have a little
(33:21):
bit of less concrete data on, but like a real concrete bet.
The one thing I just did put it in perspective, I always do is
take the player for how many games they played and go to like
the fan grass rolling graphs. So it's like we played twelve
games. How often has this player been
(33:42):
been at this level over like thelast three years, last five
years? And I did that.
But I always do this with the hitters, like, OK, this is just
a normal thing. We would didn't notice in the
middle of 2023 that Wilson Contreras, it was even worse.
Maybe someone did or whatever, but it's like this is where he
(34:02):
was at. The only one you listed, Yoner
Diaz, Wilson Contreras and I can't remember.
The last one was Marcus Simeon. And Yoner's the only one that's
like it's way down, like something's wrong.
Like he hasn't ever shown being this bad in the past.
(34:23):
So he's like the only one that I'm like throwing some red flags
on. Maybe he's heard something's
going on. But the other two, Marcus
Simeon, he had, he was that bad a couple times last year.
I mean, maybe that's what you wanted.
And I mean, you know, that's whyyou didn't draft him.
I noticed he was kind of lower than some people, but I think
that's just up and down and somepeople start the season down.
(34:44):
Like there's going to be a percentage that's that way.
And I said Ian Diaz is the only one that just totally just blew
through any kind of bottom. So he's the one I'm kind of
worried about and it might be the time just to start benching
him or start looking for a replacement catcher until he
just turns those around. You can use those rolling graphs
and just see if he's starting tomove back up at some point.
(35:07):
Do you realize that like RaphaelDevers, who I don't know what he
started this season, oh, for like 30 or something, Like what?
Could not make contact. And I don't want to put this on
Doctor Dave, but it's like, well, why were you so stupid to
draft him his fucking shoulder? Like, of course he's hurt and
he's a malcontent. And when you see him he looks
(35:29):
super fat and like his face is bloated like.
Got this. Sucks to be you that you drafted
him like as Zach would say like if you know good luck next year,
improve, look back on why you ended up with Raphael Devers and
improve your process for next year.
Do you realize as of this morning Rafael Devers has a 130
(35:52):
WRC plus exactly who he has always been So like from a
fantasy perspective, obviously the home runs aren't quite there
yet to you know, it's it it'll take time, but he's at a 130 WRC
plus he's exactly who he was despite starting O for 30 the
season. So I think that like, if I, I
(36:13):
agree, like if a guy is clearly not himself, it's not an awesome
feeling, But if you're a good week away from being exactly who
you thought the guy was gonna be.
What? The fuck are you supposed to do?
Like you're not gonna cut any ofthe guys you've listed if you
really have a better option. Like if you somehow like am I
picking up Singler to to sit Yenier?
(36:39):
Well, if I had a bench spot maybe and the schedule like it
was a. 4. Game schedule.
Maybe I play that game, but usually I don't have like a spot
to have the third catcher cuz I need those spot for hurt guys
and for guys I really want. So I think you just kind of ride
it out with most of these guys for now and realize they could,
(37:00):
they are like a good seven for for 14-7 for 17 stretch away
from being exactly who you drafted.
Yeah, Endeavour is really, really showcases that 100% also,
I mean, you know, whatever, it'sreally only had 15 plate
appearances and spring training. So you could, you know, you
could kind of see that that thatspring training for him was the
(37:23):
first two weeks for sure. Now for me, someone has written
a study about people not gettingplate appearances and spring
training and off the slow starts.
If only that was available. Yeah, if only that was
available, yeah. I mean, if only I could remember
all these fucking studies, Jeff.Sometimes, you know, I mean.
If you edit them and read through them 100 times.
Yeah, that's true. Yeah, You have it ingrained in
(37:45):
your brain. Yeah.
Most of us read it once and maybe go back and reference it
again, but like. Well, the problem with a lot of
these studies are that you do isthere, the conclusion is so
logical a lot of the time that when you, when I read it, I'm
like, yeah, no, that makes sense.
And then I just keep moving on and it's like, yeah, no, that
makes sense. And then and then you forget
(38:05):
about it. Yeah, yeah, 1000% exactly.
Even with the pitchers, you know, like I think like Robbie
Ray was interesting, like had the hottest of hottest of
springs shot up the draft board about 100 picks.
And then now he's, you know, gotten off to a start where I
think everyone wasn't really, you know, hoping for that.
(38:27):
He would just have a 0% came on his walk and a nine percent
swinging strike. And again, it's early and those
things could shine through. But you know, just one of those
guys. I think if if if you did chase
him up the ranks, he's giving upseven barrels to 22% power rate.
So obviously that can change very quickly.
(38:47):
But if you chase them up the ladder, you can't be you can't
be happy, you know, with that right now.
And Melrose Kelly just looks like he's he's, he's, he might
be done. That's one I might be dropping
depending on. Who's Oh yeah, yeah, 100%.
Now with both of them like really changed up their pitch
mix, I think that change up thatRay has needs to possibly go and
(39:10):
he needs to throw a slider more like get back to the pitch mix
he had last year. Like he's going all fastball.
So I think Ray has like a mix like some of the stuffs getting
some swinging misses. The change is just not working.
And in Merrill's case, like he'snot throwing strikes and he has
can't walk people with his talent level like his PS on 92
miles an hour, he's going to getcrushed.
(39:31):
He's always giving up home runs. And if he's walking as much as
he is right now, there's it's 5.4 walks per nine.
Like he's not going to last. So I think even in 15, there
might be some freaking bottom I might be dropping in, but
there's just no way you can start him until he can find some
strike zone. Kelly might be done.
(39:53):
It's low key remarkable that's the San Francisco Giants are
tied with the LA Dodgers as of this morning.
And like Robbie Ray hasn't been very good.
Justin Verlander looks like he's55 years old.
I, I, I can't get past looking at their lineup and saying like,
where, where are the rest of their players?
(40:13):
Because like their their their lineup has some good players in
it, but it's not a good lineup at the same.
Time and yet they have the best run differential in the in the
NL W like and they're they've lost three games this season.
It's so like it's legit in the sense that they're they're
they're run differential would say it's legit, but it's it's a
(40:38):
good start for them. The one thing it was the other
day, I'm sorry, I'm bringing it back up.
They're very righty heavy. They only face 2 lefties.
We'll have to see when they start facing some more lefties.
Their their lineup against righties is really good.
They don't have a ton of leftiesand they don't.
I think they're only platooning one guy.
So we'll see how that if if it works out that way.
(41:02):
But no, they're going to crush righties all year.
It might be 1 where you look forthe whole week and kind of ride
those guys out. Yeah, I mean, they're two best.
I mean, they're three best hitters are, at least on paper,
are Matt Chapman, Heliot Romos and and Willie Adamus righties.
So what? We'll see.
Like I hear what you're saying but but we'll see.
(41:24):
I think Huli had been gotten offto a tremendous start and I
think anyone who like really ganged up on, I know some
players who really were all in on the Huli training.
I just wanted to see a little bit more from him, like sample
wise. But he he gotten off to a really
tremendous start and kind of anchors in that lineup at
someone who just really makes a ton of contact.
And it it did get a sneaky better.
(41:46):
And I could imagine too, if Gerard and Carnaccio didn't get
hurt. He you know, look at a pretty a
pretty interesting team. But like you said, totally
interesting that they have this great record so far with
Verlander and Ray doing absoluteshit and you know, Jordan Hicks
that picked up a little bit of the slack.
All right, this is going to be alittle fun thing if I figure why
(42:09):
not? We start this at April 10th.
But if we were drafting today, who would have the biggest
swings either way up and down the ADP ladder?
Non injured, non injured playersit's.
Cheap to say 100%. Cheap to say a guy who's gotten
hurt, obviously. Right, and some of the guys that
brought this up in my head were like Robert Suarez, who like
kind of went down the ADP ladder, like, you know, there
(42:31):
was some doubts by I mean, I hadseveral doubts about him and I
know like a lot of other people did.
And he just kind of end up goingwhere he went two years ago and
now he's racking up a save everyday.
And Hunter Green looks like a legit Scion candidate.
So those are the two guys that like spurred this thought in my
head, but I didn't know if if ifthere was anyone that you guys
thought would be like. Just before we dive into this,
(42:53):
because I ended up with Suarez and was the issue just that he
wasn't pitching in spring training?
Like he went for like he went for like 3-4 weeks where he just
wasn't getting into games where people freaked out by it.
Like what was the issue with Suarez?
For me, it was first, there was several, several trade rumors
(43:14):
that the Padres were trying to shed the payroll and trying to
get rid of him. He was on the block, didn't know
if he was going to go to a team, you know, where he would be the
guy. So I think there's always some
dumb question marks there. And also to the fact that he
wasn't really like the best guy in their bullpen.
I think that was another thing like Jason Adams was really good
and Estrada is really good. For me, it was the second-half.
(43:36):
It was the last two months of the season with 22 innings with
a 17% K, you know, and A and a nine percent K minus walk.
He got destroyed like and he just all he did was kept
throwing more 4 seamers and it just wasn't working.
It was very hitable. And it's just, I don't know, I
just carried a little bit too much of that into the next
(43:58):
season, not knowing that he was just going to all of a sudden
he'd never showed that willingness to get more of a
pitch mix in there. And now this season he is doing
that. So it's it's working.
So obviously I would have to reconsider my thoughts if there
was a second chance league that started today, but you know.
Yeah, you're still you're still 3 or 4 weeks away before you do
(44:19):
your 1st 2026 DC slow. Draft.
I was thinking, I was thinking Memorial Day, you know, Memorial
Day and that. Yeah, yeah, why not?
Time to get going for 2026. My team's already stuck, Rob.
I got to start looking forward to.
Next, stop it, stop it, stop it.So Jeff, who, who do you have in
mind that think if you drafted right now, you know, in a main
(44:43):
event like the biggest shift maybe at the top of the draft or
middle draft anybody? I got.
I came up with three one. I think Strider would have went
a lot higher. Yep, absolutely.
Like as as little as he possiblywill miss that.
I think he would have. He would he would go so much
higher right now. I mean if he would have.
(45:03):
Drafted right now, you'd think he'd go a top 2 rounds.
Top three God. I think that's where he'd have
had you taken him. Like I said, I he's just.
Definitely had a Blake Snell. Oh man, my team would.
That's mean. That's mean.
I had I had an early 12 teamer with Snell, Kirby and Steele.
(45:25):
I got I got a pitching staff right now.
That's like, what the hell am I going to do this next week?
Well, if I see you shooting off the boards in May, I know why.
I think Jose Soriano is 1 where he's getting the strikeouts.
He was still getting the ground balls.
If he's getting that strikeouts with the ground balls, he's
definitely more interesting to me.
(45:47):
It's I don't, there was just some improvements with it, but I
think just these results you're seeing from him and then the one
that I think would have just he was already going up and it'll
just be even more as Chris Booby.
I think that he was right now, he would just go crazy high.
Like he's getting the same statshe was getting on the bullpen.
(46:10):
Like everyone kind of bumped those down and everything and
it's like, Nope, I'm just going to keep throwing like I did.
I don't know if he can keep it up, but he would.
I don't know if he would be in the top like in the 1st 10
rounds, but I could. It wouldn't surprise me.
I think he would. I think he'd go firmly probably
in that area that we saw. I don't know, like Alcantara,
(46:31):
Jack Flaherty, like around around there, 125 one thirtyish.
I think he'd go right there. I was the same way.
I was kind of regressing those that just a little bit.
I got a ton in like OCS, but notreally much.
No, not as much as I wanted to in DC's.
I'm really, I mean a lot becauseI I play a lot of leagues, but
(46:52):
not enough at percentage wise. But good call on the Soriano.
He finally, he finally like really, really faded the four
seamer like we've been begging him to and he's he's took off,
you know, with the whip. So great call that.
I love those. I love those players.
For me, Tyler Soderstrom is an obvious one.
(47:13):
Like I, I was, and we talked about him in the preseason and
it was really, can he get catcher eligibility and what are
the odds and, and how does that change the thinking?
And I, it's not that I didn't like him, but it was like, now
he's never going to get catcher eligibility And, and like, I
(47:35):
don't know. I so therefore I felt like I was
settling for him as just a firstbaseman and he's obviously you
didn't settle for him. He's he's awesome and I think
he's legit. So I think he goes a lot easier.
Terrang, I think you mentioned in in the outline, I think, I
(47:56):
don't know if it's real, but I think that there was reasons why
you should be sceptical of Terrang going into the season.
I think that that people would be less sceptical now.
And on the pitcher side, you know, it's Hunter Greens
teammate, it's Nick Ladolo. I think people would be would be
going way earlier than he like he was so cheap in drafts and
(48:19):
for good reasons. But I think people would be
really into Nick Ladolo if if wewere to redo it now.
So I've got a question for you. He's.
In right like he's like O96 ERA and his K minus walk is 10% and
you're like swinging strike is 8%.
The opposite of what Nicola Dolehas always done.
He's always like out like he's always his hair has always been
(48:42):
better than his eras with amazing swinging myth.
Now he's not giving up bronze but not striking anyone out.
It's really perplexing, really perplexing.
No, Yeah, Silver. What's do you think I was
looking at, like just the top hitters and which ones might
move up? Do you think Springer would move
up or do we still have no faith that he can stay healthy?
(49:03):
I think he moves up a little bit.
I think he goes where his projections, like I think he was
going on a discount to his projections and for good like,
and I, I, I put this in the discord, like I take a Big L on
him. I just, he looked so old last
year and I didn't think he was suddenly going to get young at
the end of spring training. He was smoking the ball and I
was like, yeah, but it's spring training.
(49:24):
He's hitting against AA pitchers.
So I don't know that he'd go like he's, he's not a he's not a
third round pick obviously anymore.
But I think that he's healthy right now.
That can change obviously in a day.
And it shows that he's healthy. Like he's moving a lot better
and he's if if you if you just buy what the projections have
(49:48):
for Springer, he's a really goodhitter.
Yeah, one more hitter that he would probably go in the fifth
round just knowing how people like prospects is Campbell,
Christian Campbell. Yeah, like, like he would.
He would be so high up. It'd just be crazy that it would
just it it's one of those ones that you're like that this is
(50:10):
might be where the Max is and people are just going to keep
taking him because they want him.
Like right, right, right. Yeah.
Every, every draft you inch up alittle bit a couple more big
just for that reason. Totally.
If if Wyatt Langford can be a first round pick then why can't
Campbell? True, true.
They might be the same player. It's like low pack.
Yeah, just blow past Jackson, Cheerio and Merrill.
(50:31):
You know, it's like get the guysthat have actually hit but.
Yeah. Yes, total strim is a great call
too because you know, I remembertalking with James Anderson and
he was many off seats and he's like if that you know the the
the strikeout drop and the swingand miss drop was pretty
impressive from year one year toan hour down even more from 25%
to 18 1/2%. So it's like if that stays with
(50:54):
this kind of hard hit, it's it'sincredible.
And then you have Nick Kurtz in AAA who's absolutely blistering
the ball. I mean, Brent Rooker's got a
he's got to get the outfield glove sooner than later, right?
I mean, or one of these guys hasto maybe Kurtz.
I know he's tossed him outfield time in the AFL.
But like you mentioned, Jeff, like with this team being able
to hit, they're going, they're going to possibly add another
(51:16):
big time bat to this lineup and it'll be a fun to watch for
sure, like as they head into their possible future Vegas
years. Definitely, definitely an
awesome, awesome, awesome offense there.
Springer is interesting, you know, like early, early OCC.
Then Rob is like, you know, December, they have these slow
seas and I'm like round 27. I'm like George Springer's still
(51:39):
here. You know, I'm like he seems like
a great kind of OC outfielder 5 right?
If he sucks, like you said, if he's washed up, it's an easy
drop at that pick. And if he doesn't, if he meets
that projection, it's like everysingle round five round prior,
like I'm like, man, he's so muchthe screams value at every round
that I refused to take him. And then I took him in three
(52:00):
straight. The first 3 slow OCS I did, it
was the same thing. It was like round 27, round 27
and it was like automatic. I was sitting George Springer at
outfield 5. And I don't know if you guys
have messed with the new stack cast stuff, but like that center
of mass and where they stand in the plate.
But Springer's had some pretty interesting changes and I guess
(52:21):
you're kind of seeing the effects, Rob, of a, of a hitting
coach, the new hitting coach. There you go.
I'm waiting. I'm waiting for like Mass Plus
to get released. It synthesizes all that data in
one indecipherable number. And when you tell me like
Springer has an 84 Mass Plus, I'll nod along and say that's
good, right? And you'll be like, I don't
(52:41):
know. Nobody knows is.
That with a torpedo bat or with a regular bat.
You have to have two different numbers and it's the we're only
looking at his 2024 Mass plus it'll get adjusted next year and
that'll change everything. What about, what about Paul
Skeins? Do you think he'd still be in
the first round if we were drafting today?
(53:03):
He doesn't look completely dominant, still looks good,
don't get me wrong, but something, something seems a
little off about him. I don't know what it is, but it
doesn't seem like that. Like watching him, it doesn't
seem as easy as it was last yearfor him.
The numbers really aren't too much different.
But you think he's still firmly in the top 15, Jeff?
(53:29):
If they saw, I don't know how many Doctor Dave's would bring
him down because with his fastball velocity down.
Like. Like, is he hurt with that?
Like how How big a deal that is.I mean, I'm impressed with the
60% ground ball rate. Like even if he's at 10K per
nine and not walking anyone and with a 60% ground ball rate,
like who freaking cares? Just freaking go at it.
(53:52):
Just hope their defense is fine.I mean, keeping it on the on the
ground. Maybe he's going to get a few
more runs, get Babbitt sometimes, but I see nothing
wrong with him. Maybe he's not going to have
those crazy strikeout numbers anymore and like he's like you
said, he's going to trying to keep, you know, maybe get some
faster outs go longer in the games.
(54:13):
I kind of wasn't for sure if he's a first rounder like he's
always to at the end of fifteenskind of at in the seconds.
I think that I think he would still probably go there.
I don't know. I don't see any problems with
him yet. And actually I kind of like,
like I said, the only thing would be that velocity, like
some people may just completely blow that out of proportion.
I love the idea that Schemes is like pitching to contact and he
(54:35):
has a 29% strike. It's like he's just lobbing the
ball over the plate and letting guys put it on the ground.
It's like, yeah, no, he has a 28.6% strikeout rate.
He's going to be OK. Corbin Burns, he looks continues
to look awful. Who do you, Who do you, who do
you hate more, Corbin Burns or Juan Soto like?
(54:58):
Corbin Burns, Juan Soto's a met now, so we we cool.
So you've never made any of those?
You've always hated Corbin Burns.
I know no, no, not always. Don't get like he was on my on
my overall winning team in 2020 because he was one of those
really huge Sierra ERA differences in in 2019.
(55:19):
I, I, I think I got him around 35.
That's the year he first blew up.
And then after that, he was justthis is how you this.
Is how you thank him. This is how you thank him.
He just he's lost it. I mean 8 1/2 K minus walk.
I know it's only two starts, buthe doesn't look, he doesn't look
great. I mean, listen, getting Tawan
Soto, Rob, when he got that his first hit versus the Blue Jays
(55:42):
in in Citi Field and I was there.
It was pretty cool. You know, funny moment though,
you know, he he comes up, he gets this huge ovation, pops up
and then big Pete comes up kind of muted.
You know, like I was still I I was getting loud and I was
screaming at my whole section. It was like a library in my
section. I hate that.
I hate, I hate when you have thesoft section and you're the
(56:04):
asshole who's always screaming at everyone.
And I'm like, come on. I get up and anyway, Pico's yard
and and I'm screaming. I'm like, that's right, Pete.
You, you remind everyone why. Why you're fucking Pete Alonzo.
Let's go. This is the real reason why Jeff
got banned from the the cult library was he just stands up
and starts yelling at people to make noise and people don't take
(56:26):
it as well as they should. Man, Chotto has 6 deals.
How many you think he's going toend up with 30 steals?
What's he doing? He's he's noticeably like, looks
like more athletic, athletic plus needs to be a, something
that needs to be studied, Jeff. In the process, we're going to
go Sprint speed, bat speed, arm speed, any of the major
improvements in that all across the board, you know, has to be
(56:50):
accounted for in your spreadsheet.
And then we have to have a draftof all the pluses.
Maybe that should be one of the maybe the next week launch
angle. That's what we'll do on the
Patreon. We'll actually have a draft
between the three of us of of the best pluses available in
fantasy baseball to to. Well, we should, we should do 2
drafts. We should do that.
And then which pluses we wish could we could make up.
(57:12):
Like I I made the joke about hygiene plus after the shower
injury after the bad bad wing caused an injury.
Like diet plus like we we could come up with all kinds of
things. Where did he have these wings?
Is that that that Cody Bellinger?
Where Where did you get these? Wings I I respect the honesty
like. Me too.
(57:33):
You could give the generic like I'm under the weather or like
flu or food poisoning that he was so specific that I was
eating. I'm a professional athlete and I
was eating chicken wings after the game and got sick.
Here, here's what I thought. The way I thought with Bellinger
is he got some wings. He took them home and he kind of
like passed out, woke up in the morning at like 4:00 like oh,
(57:55):
here's some wings. And those are the ones he
attacked, like been sitting on his like coffee table or
something or in the hotel room and just, he just crushed the
ones been sitting out, sitting on the table there for like 6 or
7 hours. And then I could totally see him
do it too. Like, yeah, even just got up and
just, yeah, I eat those wings that.
And if you found that out, Jeff, that would be the knucklehead
(58:17):
factor, right? You dock him even.
I think Bellinger already has probably some knucklehead to
him. I haven't.
I don't know for sure, but yeah.Everyone, everyone docks him
because they think he's a complete Stoner.
So they're like, Oh yeah, that'sthat.
That's the first joke every timeto like Cody Ballinger to to
show the gift where it looks like he just completely fucking
(58:38):
ripped, which is hysterical. But, Rob, how you feeling about
Junior Caminero? He's got a couple of games off.
What are they doing? Load management with him?
What's what's going on, young boy?
Keep him in the lineup. Was it just a raise being
raised? He looks like he's stuck.
Oh, he looks like a statue. OK, Bob's out.
(59:00):
You see the look on his face, Jeff?
He looks so fun. I don't have that tab up.
Give me a second. Okay, okay, all good.
All right, well, it looks like astatue.
It's I'm going to take a pictureof that.
It's it's a funny, it's a funny one.
He changed his image on in the discord of this one.
(59:20):
Yeah, 1000%. But anyway, we've ran through
all the show notes this this week.
Jeff, you have anything you wantto say on the way out?
Anything, anything else that yougot coming up?
Oh, there he is. He's he's he's re entering the
stage right now. Rob, did you see the picture of
you frozen? Look, you look like a statue.
(59:41):
Look at that beautiful statue. If you're, if you're, if you're
building statues of me, Rob, you're doing it wrong.
Statue Plus yeah, if you have anything coming up, any new
research you're doing, are you still just hammering away the
news? Just kind of just hanging out
with the news. It's I got other stuff in my
life that I hate dealing with Mainland taxes, just straight
(01:00:05):
up. So no, that's nothing.
Nothing new. Just checking on playing time,
trying to see who's losing velocity.
Just kind of boring stuff. And hanging out at college
libraries. That would be that would be a
great you're right, that would be a great bar name.
Just the college library and youknow, you have some books on the
(01:00:27):
shelf and you just go and grab adrink and pop a book open.
You know, all right, Rob, anything for you on the way out.
No I'm just doing taxes and hanging out at random colleges
looking looking to meet some people.
So nothing. Nothing exciting.
Fantastic, awesome, good show guys.
We'll see you next week over on the pull here to Patreon side of
(01:00:47):
things. And if you want to get involved
there, come come hang out. We got a week free trial.
You hang out in the Discord withall of us goofing around,
talking about everything in life.
Until then, have a good day and peace.
Don't be a beggar.
