was raising a group. Bit doyou know Sentinel, Golem, baby Bug,
Fury, Monster, I and Laura. Yeah, a dog. I
haven't pulled up. I have Humaneighty six is graphics pulled up nice,
all right? And that was therace. Was it great because I'm assuming

it was great? Baby Bug probablyone because as that marble is cute.
I also believe they might be thespawn of Satan, so it's pretty awesome.
But I don't know what happened,so there, tragic me. Baby
Bug did not make it through.Yeah, it was. It was go

and it was Fury that made itthrough, although Golden did it by finishing
second twice, the only marble sofar that's made it through that hasn't won
a race at all. And yeah, I gotta say the racing itself has
actually not been that interesting. Yeah, I agree, actor it just it
feels clunky, like it just feelslike the Sea League in a sense,

you know how how we got theB League. Actually this kind of feels
like the Sea League. These thesemarbles don't know what they're doing. Out
there. It's like it's literally liketoboggining for them. It's they're not out
there as professionals. This is justan amateur event, and you really got
to take it for what it is. Some of the gimmicks in there have
been good. The circuit layout herefor Group B was actually quite nice.

I don't think the sand was nearlyas bad as it's good. I don't
want to foreshadow too much, butGroup C the sand, the sand was
awful. But Group B here,the sand looked pretty good. We have
a few many big foots. Ithink it was three. I want to
say three. It wasn't enough sohalfway there, yeah, yeah, But
ultimately I think Group B I racingaside, The circuit was great. The

marbles look cool out there. Myguy Golim showed up and made it through.
Can't wait to see that guy inthe finals. Yeah. Group B
was sad. I mean the firstrace, Sentinel had a great path at
the end, so that was excitingto see, but then he flopped it
in the second race, so it'sinstead we have C three po sticking his
nose into the final, and muchmuch like the rest of the movie world,

we have an undeserving, basic superherotaking the slot of literally anyone else
who's better. But sometimes it's howit shakes out. No, it's fine,
all right. So I am lookingat these marbles of the first time
right now. I like Fury.He reminds me of the Generation one.
What Jason was my favorite power Rangergrowing up. Oh yeah, till Tommy

of why I've not picked out afavorite marble yet, because if you pick
out the Marble. When you've gotnothing to go on, then you're going

What'd you think about Group C?Yeah, he just depressed about me,

I was very invested in race twobecause I thought Mimi could pull a pea
pod and for a few seconds andlooked like that might happen, but then
it didn't. So like, Idon't know. That pile up was pretty
pretty intense, am I right?It was. It was like Razway Season
one, except without the safety marbleand without like me caring. I mean,

of all the races that we've hadso far, that was only the
most exciting one because it actually hadsome action, Like there was the big
pile up, there was yelly eyes, really good pass and it was just
some stuff going on. Really,you couldn't you couldn't say a better hector
like, this was the best raceof Freak Marble series so far. I

really hope I can go up fromhere because it's a pretty low bar.
But I mean, hey, itwasn't exciting you know two minute race.
I enjoyed it, yeah too,And like exciting two minute races of the
bread and butter of Sam Marble Rallyand everyone rapes about that. It was
many many times. My favorite thingabout this race just whatter ject real quick,
sorry dogot is like when that thinghappened on the sand at Dordan's got

right for everybody. Mine's the Milkone. The Milk was so dope.

I mean that I don't remember muchabout it, but it was very entertaining.
One it lasted. I don't knowif this counts because I think it
was done a couple times, maybetwice, but it's not a reoccurring series.
It would be the Tero Olympics formarbles. Okay, So like the
one like the Oceans one? Yeah, yeah, I love, I love
I love that the Winds are special. Yeah. The one that's basically Marble

League but smaller so barely isn't not? What was that Naga? If HUBLINO
twenty eighteen is so far off thebeaten path that it counts now than that

we had one of oh my god, we had two of them. That's
so cool. Yeah it was.I mean for me, it would have

something about a scoring system where pointsjust don't add up. So Minos
posted off Reddit basically saying that hecame up with the scoring system, and
then I saw the greatest comment inthe world on Reddit right underneath it,
just explaining why the scoring system doesnot make sense at all and how unfair

it is because literally, to likebeat like move on. You have to
either get like first place or likeall of the podium twice basically, right.
Yeah. Yeah, So everybody's criticizingBetos for this, and that was
two weeks ago, so that there'swork, there's more we can get into

is that Metis didn't come up withthis system. He nicked it from Formula
one. Yeah, and like itworks in Formula one because it's not like
two races. There's a whole seasonof like how many like fifteen or so

of races, so like there's plentyof chances to do well and catch up,
whereas in this you've got two shots. You're not going to do well
if you don't get a medal ineither of those. It's also the point
that the top six get there's liketwenty other races that just get zero points

I like how it's like so thatshit chaotically skewed that you have to win
a race to move on, becausethat just makes sense in a series like
this to me at least. Buthearing where Minus got it, being like,
oh I just found Formula one,this top six and the six marbles,
this probably works, implies that theydidn't actually, like if they planned

it to make it. So ifyou win a race, you pretty much
move on, and that's how theywanted to do it, then I understand
actually applaud the boldness of it.But if it's literally just nick scoring system,
don't test any permutations of it andmove on, then like, I
mean, it's not a big deal. But that's kind of that's kind of
sus man. Yeah, so Iactually looked up the push just now basically

there's only three ways to move on, which is get first place, get
second place twice, and hope thatone of the marbles who beat you got
last in the other race, andget second to third, and hope that
the same marble wins both races.That is the only way you can move
on. So it's like you getthird or like fourth and below after the

first race, you're just fun.It's like that's hilarious, like how chaotic
it is. But it's just likeall right, it doesn't really matter what
happened these three marbles after the firstrace, which is just crazy. It
is, and it isn't for sucha short season, very small sample size,
only six marbles racing in the heat. I kind of get it.
If you're coming fourth place, that'slike coming like tenth in San Marble Rally,

ninth and Sand Marble Rally. Younever really go anywhere placing those positions.
So for me, I understand it. It's not the best scoring system
by any stretch. No way shouldsixth place be getting any points your last
like why are you getting any points? Why is there even one point on

Yeah, I mean the big thingfor me is that Greg's always going on
in the video is about how consistencyis key in this, but the scoring
system means that that's complete bollocks,Like you could be completely inconsistent and still

to win a race to move on. There's only two races, so that

All right? So it is mypersonal opinion that Showdown relegation is actually,

like in a vacuum pre twenty twentytwo, heavily overrated because people say
Showdown doesn't have stakes without relegation,and sure, when it was four events,
that's fair because it's basically just likea diet qualifier. It's pretty lame.
But like you, you could sayit has no stakes, but that's
because you decided to not care thatShowdown has a championship of its own after

it got expanded to eight events,and you chose to only focus on the
relegation, right, Like there arechampionship battles now just because there's eight events,
Like Showdown Champion is a title thatwe tend to remember, like it's
obviously nowhere near as big as aMarble League one, but it's still fairly
memorable. We remember the Cobalts goingback to back. Do we remember who
got relegated at the end of everysingle year? I personally forgot who got

relegated after twenty twenty two, exceptfor Hazers, because they wouldn't show up
about it. So I think watchingthe top is just a lot more memorable.
Anyway, that said, this timearound, I don't want to have
a qualifier where less than half theteam's qualified. That's the only reason why
I want to keep the system asit is. I agree, and that
is a point that's been brought upa lot. Yeah, it's a great

think you could even limited Hector,you could go do two marbles every race.
If you're going to do a tenrace season, you're going to cover
the whole You're gonna cover the wholefield before the series finishes, exactly.
It's just a great feature to havelet us know some of the accolades,
cool things this marble has done inthe past, whether it be a comeback
from tenth place to win a race, that kind of stuff. Just give

If you're coming fourth place, that'slike coming like tenth in San Marble Rally,

So for me, I understand it. It's not the best scoring system

like in a vacuum pre twenty twentytwo, heavily overrated because people say
Showdown doesn't have stakes without relegation,and sure, when it was four events,
that's fair because it's basically just likea diet qualifier. It's pretty lame.
But like you, you could sayit has no stakes, but that's
because you decided to not care thatShowdown has a championship of its own after

it got expanded to eight events,and you chose to only focus on the
relegation, right, Like there arechampionship battles now just because there's eight events,
Like Showdown Champion is a title thatwe tend to remember, like it's
obviously nowhere near as big as aMarble League one, but it's still fairly

got relegated at the end of everysingle year? I personally forgot who got
