Anybody watched the draw because I didit. I watched where the Orangers were.
I was like, I don't carewho they're WITHO. I watched after
the old Rangers saw the Savage Speedersin Group B. They went down the
funnel so fast to go into groupIt was hilarious. Best part of the
draw I did see. Yeah,they were up against each other. That's

the only one I saw. Yeah, honestly, the draw, I get
why it's its own video. It'sbuilding hype, but like, it's not
that interesting. It's just like theypicked the groups. All the interesting stuff
happens in the qualifiers. Yeah,I didn't even know there was a draw
video, to be honest, Ihad no idea. Yeah, honestly,

they should just be combined all intothe first thing, and that we do
qualifiers and that maybe friendly round islike a different video, But I wouldn't
complain about that. Honestly, thatwould work quite nicely. I agree.
I agree, but I feel likeit'd be better if they combined, like
the the Friendly Round with the draw, because the draw doesn't have as much

impact. Neither is the Friendly round. But being able to see the Friendly
round would allow you to see theinitial events, yes, that the qualifiers
are all going to be, andthat would help build hype for the actual
qualifiers themselves. And then you couldalso have just the flight of the bumblebee

just add them to one of thevideos and then we got it all figured
out. Speaking of the Friendlies,did anybody watch that I put in?

the four teams that were relegated andyou know, not competing until Showdown Race.

have no idea why this is.Like I thought we perfected the formula for
that last year, like have theFriendly Round and the Showdown Friendly Round.
Like I know they did it lastweek because it was the new teams and
they hadn't actually been relegated, butlike it works to have two friendly rounds,

the hazes are a huge fan base. Actually, I want to see the
top four go against the relegated ones. That would be great. Just put
them all in, like do that. The relegated teams are just going to
win every time, just because that'show the world works, and it's just

again the same year. You know. Look, I like the idea of
having the Showdown relegated teams compete withthe other teams competing in the Friendly Round,
But man, I don't want tosee Team go Act to get beat

Come on, tis time for everything. Let's get to these events.
For the qualifiers, we got Honeycomb, Team Pursuit, start Off bat.
Those are like gravit tracks, right, yep, yeah, yep, it
was cool. They were really like, actually we saw this event back in
twenty nineteen. It was just itwasn't cooled. That was called like gravitraks

slalom, but it was basically thesame event. I really like it and
I'm glad it's actually coming back becauseyeah, it's a fun event. Yeah,
they brought it back, except longerwith more twists and turns, which
just makes it better. It alsohelps the Crazy Cats has absolutely demolished everyone
else in their heat but even withoutthat, it's it's a fun event to
watch. Uh Yeah, I likethe camera on the down and turn just

seeing them like zig zag throughout thewhole thing. That was really dope.
Yeah. Also, all the complainingwe've done about the camera, that was
a really good camera angle. Thisis an event where where the camera from
the finished nine actually works because becauseof all the turning, you can see
where they are. Whereas in sprint, it's like breath so much better than
five meter sprint. Yeah. Ido appreciate that it's like the first three

to cross as well. I thinkthat's awesome. Yeah, and yeah,
overall, hey, bumbs up,don't change it. Hey, Term,
this is jam R we're talking about. Yeah, good event, anything else
on it. I agree with you, Term. I like the fact that
there's the whole three marble finish thingbecause it incorporates some strategy with you know,

the fourth marble can push the thirdone forward, and it makes it
more of a team event, right, it's not just it's not one individual
marble where it's like, if youdidn't know how the rules was, you
would have just thought, oh okay, red Eye carried their team, Speedy
carried their team. This is justmarble Marbula one on a grab at tracks.
Yeah yeah, like it's really makingit different from all the sprint,

relay hurdle stuff like that is alljust one level racing at a time,
Like it's just first across. Likeit's nice having something that's different as a
race. Uh, yeah for sure. And although I do have to shout
out to the Turtle Sliders were absolutelydominating the Savage Speeders. Keep boys,
let's go crush. But that wasgreat after they won that, I was

rooting for them to finally qualify.I just don't think the Savage Speeders are
very good on turns, Like theydid really good straight line kind of marbles,
but as soon as they have todo all that ziggity zaggy stuff that
they had to do in the teampursuit, it was just they couldn't reach
their top speed. They got tooslow sky they got second. No,
they didn't win. Look at SavageSpeedway, it's entirely won big straights away

at the end. They just can'tdo cut, they can't do coolners.
Yeah second in this event. Guystoo slow Yeah I know, yeah,
first loser. They only got twelvepoints. Nerds get fifteen. Come on,
just win? And who won itfor Group A? Crazy Cat's eyes.

Yeah, I gotta cover that.I got to talk about the Snowballs
real quick, though, and I'msure we'll talk about them more. But
I cannot believe that they got secondin this event and then actually managed to
qualify. You love to see it. I love to see it too,
but it's crazy to not think thisteam was going to do anything. They
thought they were like dead in thewater. Nobody seemed to care about them
at all. Billy was rapping aboutthem. Okay, Billy was sure like

you weren't. I appreciate them aswell, and I'm definitely not Billy Fine
fine to quote with the sours dinosaurswho gave them the right snow the only
one that's ever had the right tobe good until now. I, against
my better judgment, did a qualifyingprediction on Reddit and said Group A is
really close. Every single team onthere except the Snowballs has a shot,

and maybe the Snowballs the group justto spite me before the events, lrunch,
Come on, no, this thiswas the day before I knew what
the events were. I knew whatthe events were. This is the day
before it, and then after thatI said, what if they just win
the group just to spite me?Lol, Rang hates me? And then

that actually happened. So yeah,I'm an oracle, I'm a reverse oracle,
and there's you lose not a gun. To be fair, your prediction
was kind of half right because GroupA was actually very very close. There
was oh very much. So therewas there was one point separating six and

seventh and one point separating seven andaids, so you had that right.
Meanwhile, group B there was likemassive jump of between six and seventh.
Yeah, that's because the turtle slidersdominated, right, Yeah, yeah,
definitely. All right, let's moveon to five meters sprint. It's a
classic yeah, no complaints, ticA good event, always has been typical

arrangers, mellow yellow having a photofinish. I don't know if that's ever
happened before, but it feels likeit happens all the time. And uh
yeah, pretty good event. We'veseen it many times. I mean,
anybody stand out. I want tosay this. I know Hector probably will
get into it, but I feellike this was the downfall for the Green

Ducks here and the sprint race andBilly almost almost coming second in the heat.
I think it was like points zerozero two second something stupid like that.
But that was the ultimate downfall.It just the trajectory went straight down
for them after that. I'm notsure I cool out the downfall Wave definitely

gets that title. Yeah yeah,but this was just like this is what
started it. Once the avalanche isgoing, there's no stop. I mean,
to be fair, this is kindof like where the Green Ducks usually
are and qualifiers, with the exceptionof twenty nineteen, they only ever really
skirt by, like they've not beena powerhouse, and like this is just
like kind of normal for them.I just don't expect them to usually get
last in something, which is tomy mind what costs them that. We'll

get into it. The Green Ducksare usually decent at sprint though, aren't
there they are? Yeah, whereaswaves, okay, waves something, usually
expect them to tank because that's whatthey do. I wave every time.
But I feel like I agree withDecker here. They've only done wave like
three times, one of them.They won it in the twenty twenty one
qualifiers, and then since then they'vetanked. I remember, I just remember

they got last and waved twenty twentyone and then didn't do any better this
times of Breast of the Ducks.Sorry about it, Hector, I can't
get enough of them. Yeah,it doesn't really stood out to be a
better sprinty years. What their heat? Yeah, the third heat of Group

A, all four of them beatall the other times of Group A.
And that was funny. That wassick. I noticed that after the event
and I was like, help meget like third place or whatever. It
was like it was fucking crazy withthe photo finish too, like those do.
And there was one shocking pun intendedmoments that I want to talk about,
and that was the Thunderbolts winning theirheat, Like how did that happen?

Oh? Yeah? Like can wejust skip ahead from him? Like
Thunderbolts confirming they qualified after three events. The Thunderbolts, Jesus Christ, who
saw that coming? They change alltheir members or something? Again, No,
they changed nothing, nothing, Theychanged nothing, and yet they were
also qualified after three events. Agood thing they were, because they kind

of sucked in the funnels. Theydid, Jesus, They didn't suck more
than Red Eye did. Yeah,I just tried to raise down to the
bottom or something like that. Ididn't understand the rules, I guess,
but yeah, next to them wehad was the what was it actually called
the region march wave. Yeah it'sswing wave. Yeah yeah, yeah,

it's swing wave but with fire.Were there jousting sticks? There was no
jousting sticks. It was upset withjousting sticks. It was a tug of
wool for jousting, which apparently tugof war is very similar to Okay,
all right, so swing waves toolong? What is this? Like?
Why are we wait too long?Why are we forced to watch this?

It's literally like half the video.I think it's painful, and that's including
like the friendlies at everything. It'sjust like, how do we fix this?
Get rid of it. I wasn'ton I wasn't on board with the
swing wave hate until now. Butyeah, swing wave trash, Get it
out of it. Definitely, Notnot even that it's trash. It's just
it's way too long and it getsboring. Term and I were talking about

Term said it, you got todo it like curling. You got
to have multiple swing waves going atone time, so you have four teams
competing in one video each time youjust have an overview of it, and
you get through the event in halfthe time, and then nobody's getting bored.

like you could just rewatch everything likereal quick and just get like shorter replaces
totally. Yeah, get the goodparts for their client into each other.

Deckre Like, it's a solid enoughconcept. I think it's originally Hubolino.
I could be wrong. I don'tremember. And it's nice, but it
feels like they're trying to make itan every year kind of thing, and

it's not interesting enough for that.It just isn't. Yeah, I mean
I'd rather have some event like thisthan some other events like that. Yeah,
me too, absolutely. But onething we I thought about it we
could do to make it shorter iswe just cut it down to one run
per group of two, Like whatif we did something where we like alternated

the marbles, or instead of havingall five and one lane, we just
like kind of alternatum, so youhave one lane of I say, Melo
Yellow Ranger, Mel Yellow Ranger,mel Yellow Ranger and that way, it's
more even, so you don't haveto worry about like once I being stronger
than the other, and you'd cutthe run time in half by having one
run. It seems like the bestsolution in my opinion. Yeah, I

definitely would be on board with that. I mean, we've thrown around the
idea of having it be like atournament bracket style, but I mean that
would take a longer. So yeah, no, that was the downfall of
curling. It was. Yeah,it definitely was like I quite like the
event in an individual thing, butlike, yeah, I agree, something
to speed it up would be goodbecause like, it's a decent event,

but it's not that interesting and havingit drag on for so long. I
still want a tournament style, butonly in twenty twenty six, after we
never see this event again. Untilthen, I'm sorry, not on,
but I don't think that's gonna bethe case. We're seeing the seeing every

how are the team's not figure outthe strategy for this event yet go

for nine every time? If yougo over, great, If not,
you hit nine points, I couldsay, tell out the team plasma last
year it was crazy. I cansay for the Arrangers Undigo Stars throw us
off. They're bad. They're abad team, so they don't know what
they're doing, and they forced usto like be bad at it. We
went against literally any other team,even Internal Sliders. Are you talking about

the twenty twenty one gold medalist inthe Swing Wave? To come on,
they don't know what they're doing.They've done it in years, feels like
decades. I'm sure Pippin would agreewith me. Feel like Pippin would smack
you right now. I'll put itup. They're crazy cats. I've figured
out the meta because they're too fast, and there's solution was just bump into
the Blackjacks over and over again toslow their momentum down. And they really

nailed it in the second. Itwas so nice. It works nice.
I do appreciate that. All right. So last event that was Funnel Endurance
is whether it's still calling it again? Yep, yep, still calling it
Funnel Endurance? Ever change and yeah, of course actually they did change it.

Yeah. For the worst as Iknow is the Raspberry Racers. They
showed off as they always do inthis cat the event, and I don't
appreciate it. I know they didn'twind Chasma one and it took them from
sixth to first. Yeah, itwas nice. I've got to enjoy the
one team I have that did well. Come on, rather not talk about

any teams you like? Yeah?Yeah, quick? Completely aside from the
teams I like. Like funnels wasat its best. I think last year
when they had the full old tonatingone by one green funnels and orange funnels.
This year, like four green funnels, it doesn't work as well,
Like why did they do that?Why do they feel they need to change

(20:10):
it up every year? Like,this event's a classic for a reason.
It works, you don't need tochange it up. I completely agree Hector.
Not having orange funnels made everything justone speed. Yeah, and once
everything was one speed, it madeit really hard for the marbles to show
off the skill required in this event. You know, morbiles weren't hitting each
other all that often because they wereall going slow to begin with, and

you need to see much dunking likewe're used to with them experimenting with funnels
until last year when we got whatI think is the perfect iteration. But
and I think the reason they triedall green funnels is because we keep saying
the green funnels are the best,except they don't work when it's just green
funnels, because the green funnels arereally great at equalizing everybody, but that

happens in every funnel. So likethe each funnel is its own individual event
and none of the other ones matteruntil you get to the last ones.
Like I was ragging on Red Eyeearlier, he was looking really good until
the last funnel, which is theone funnel where he blew it, and
then then that caused him to blowthe event, blow the event. And
on the one hand, yeah,sure that means you lost whatever, But
on the other hand, like therest of the funnels don't matter. I

get what you're saying, but canwe at least be happy we didn't get
those shitty camrangles we got last MarbleLeague is the funnel. We didn't get
any of that, So thank god, let's take some positivity out of this.
Going into this event as an ORangers fan, I was excited.
I saw Canoan up there, theone of the greatest to ever do the

funnel. He's basically the Wayne Gretzkyof marbles when it comes to funnels,
and when I saw that guy outthere. He was just crushing it.
I was getting excited. I'm yellingat the TV. Holy shit, this
guy's Wayne Gretzky's at the top ofthe funnel. Everybody dropped through. Sure
enough, he didn't win it,but I mean, this was the most
exciting event for me. I thinkdefinitely had me on my feet. You

can get excited for funnels regardless ofwhatever color they are, green, orange,
red, black, white, whateverthey are, I think it's still
a great event. Yeah. One, absolutely love Kenny on the funnels.
This guy, he had a lotof skill to him. He was boxing
guys out even after he fell backrecovered, he was in last spot,
and then worked his way back intolike the top five sky. By the

way, that's the bright orange onewho's kicking everybody else's ass. If you
didn't fucking know, I thought hewas a clear one with then a little
bit of red in him that wentdown the funnels really really fast. Not
that one, No bright orange one. It looks like a badass. Two.
Yeah, everybody hates the shot fromunder the balls. I'm glad we

don't have that anymore. And three, I do think that we need variation
with funnels. I think we hadit perfect last year, and if you
go back, we definitely said thatand they didn't listen. So yeah,
to answer the question on that onesign everyone's talking about, we do like
looking at balls, just not fromunder the green funnel. Please, thank
you. Shout out to Tacubos.I still can't believe they let them get

away with that poster, just frontand center view to the I bet you
like looking at balls? When theywere announcing that, they didn't make it
too right, like they put upthat graphic right next to it. That
was exactly what an appened. Doyou see your team doesn't qualify by one

get to do it for a while. Yeah, exactly crazy but yeah,

Geez. Honestly, if they're goingto go for all the same kind of
funnel, I'd rather they just keptit with all orange funnels, because that
was really quite an interesting one thatwe have some really fun stuff with how
fast they go, Like I likethe green funnels, but all green funnels

worked a lot worse than all orangefunnels, but yeah, alternating like they
did last year. Should have stuckwith that. Funnels are always good,
but this was the second worst iterationof funnels that have appeared in Marble League.
Twenty twenty one was the worst.I hated that one. Let's reserve
judgment, guys, Let's wait tillwe see it in the actual Marble League.
I think it was actually quite exciting, especially Group B and the final

funnel, the battle for the finalfunnel. You got the big zoom in
on the last two marbles there.There was a couple bumps going on.
It was felt like it was inslow motion almost, but it wasn't.
I thought that was exciting, SoI mean, maybe I'm just looking for
the things to be excited about withthis event. But oh no, I
don't think this funnel versions that bad. I mean, funnels are still a
good event, but like just comparedit to the other correction, this is

(24:45):
the fourth best iteration that we've hadin Marble Thank you. Yeah, positive
attitude, yes, but yeah,like that that fighting Group B was really
good as well. It was likeTeam Plusman had a solid lead it early
on, but it wasn't quite soliduntil the end. Like the fight with
Raspberry Races, like they're always goodat this, and it showed totally.

(25:07):
Yeah, they showed off and stillgave it. What second, Yeah,
it's because they showed off. Youneed to not show off in the funnels.
Also off there like fucking you know, definitely picking up. Well,
I think I just came in witha bit of a different perspective in this
event than you guys did because Ididn't have a team that I was really
cheering for in the qualifiers. Galacticalready made it, so I was really

just looking for a good event here, and if I was comparing this to
previous funnels, you know, it'snot nearly as good, especially when not
against twenty twenty two. But therewas a lot of drama in the sense
of like, well, it's thelast one of the qualifiers, and a
lot of teams were really close toeach other, like so like if you
were in six or seven, thisis make or break, and you know

(25:52):
they weren't. There weren't a tonof teams that were already auto qualified at
this point, right Like I thinkthere's probably a couple of one. I
think just Thunderboard. No, therewas so no there was from group is
like a couple. If they did, Greg didn't mention. Yeah, yeah,
the Crazy Cats and Snowballs were altoqualified presumably, which is why the
Crazy Cats ays were like, let'ssee what happens when we stick red Eye
and lull all x D all right, and then immediately note to self,

(26:18):
don't put red Eye in. Anotherthing I want to say about was like,
you know Team Momo in this event, like they were I was afraid
they weren't going to qualify entirely honest, but yeah, they managed to clutch
up. They got a back toback silver is getting a silver in this
event, and Gliding Glaciers were ina similar boat, back to back golds
in the last two events to manageto qualify and second in Group A.
