Speaker 1 (00:00):
We got a question from American mama's, dear mama's what's

(00:02):
wrong with Portland? Well, let's ask our American mama's mamma
and joining us now our American mama's Terry Edeville and
Kimberly Burlison. So Portland has kind of become the home

(00:25):
of Antifa. It has become the home of violent riots
against ice agents. It's just become this center for far
left political violence. Am I wrong in that? Because that's
the perception that you see from what's going on in
Portland politically.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It is the perception. But this is interesting. I just
got back from Portland. My brother in law, sister in law,
and nephew. They lived there, My nephew very very much
what you would picture, what you would think of when
you think of skater boy Pa. You know, great kid though,
great great kid. I mean I hate you know, great kid.

(01:06):
So we're talking about Portland. We're at their house and
he comes in to visit, and I'm just assuming he's
very as far left as you can get. He actually
lives down there were ices like yes lips where.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
They've been keeping people up all night long with bullhorns
in there.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yes, exactly, so she my sister in law. She says,
tell so and so, what you what you said about
your daughter in law when she posted that rest and
piece Charlie Kirk. So immediately I'm like, what are you doing?
Because I'm not going to talk politics around this kid.
You know what I mean, cause fights here exactly. So
I immediately started sharing the story about my daughter in law

(01:45):
posting rest in peace Kirk. She lost one hundred thousand followers.
She had pages and pages of people telling her to die.
It was horrible. Wow, this kid goes off on those people,
which shocks me. And then he goes on to say
this man just wanted dialogue. They called him a fascist.
They're the ones being fascist. So then I'm like, oh

(02:06):
my gosh, tell me more, like talk to me, you know,
because I can't believe this. So he starts talking about
what's going on down where he lives, and he said,
it's like Mayhem at times. It's crazy. And he said,
but it is like a group. It's a particular group.
He said, I used to think this way, but I'm
changing with things that I'm seeing. Well obviously with what

(02:26):
he was saying to me, he said, it's changing. He goes,
I know, it looks like it's really bad, and there
is a group that is like havoc out there, but
mine's you're changing. My generation is thinking. He's now thirty
two years old, and he's like and he goes, he goes,
I'm not a fan of Trump, but he's a good president.

(02:47):
I don't like his humor, but he does a good job.
And I was like, that's that's a good place to
be all you want.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Because it was one of the things that annoyed me
the most about Barack Obama's that he made me appreciate
Bill Clinton.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
You know, it's very annoying to me.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
So that's interesting that I thought it was very interesting too.
It was very interesting. I'm always excited when I hear
people that are their eyes are open, that thought one
way and then slowly, you know, I've seen all these
memes about people saying like what what turns you? And
they're showing pictures of the little girl on the on
the bus or the train, Charlie Kirk. You know, they're

(03:25):
showing all these things that made you start to red
peel basically. And so to hear somebody firsthand that I
know and talking with such sense and oh he's so
articulate and so smart, you know, and he's like, I
would say I am middle right, but I will not,
you know, I am this is when I'm wait.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
So he said he's middle he said, I.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Am now middle right, and years ago he was far left.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yes, I think that's happening more and more.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
To me.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
It is just a sign of the times. Thank god
for Elon Musk buying Twitter when he did.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
It's a huge, huge game trap.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
It is a huge game changer because these kids that
were only seeing things that the left was allowing them
to see on Twitter when Jack Dorsey had it, they're
now seeing all of it so they can judge for themselves.
So when they hear the mainstream media, you know, just
use the propaganda and just shove it down their throats,
and then they see the truth on X because people

(04:24):
are coming out and drove saying no, no, this is
actually what happens. It's kind of like when Charlie Kirk
was assassinated and people were coming out saying how racist
he was, how hateful he was. Yeah, and then others
were like, well, I'm a lefty and I actually wanted
to see what do you mean by contact. So I
watched the whole thing, and now.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
If anybody watches the whole a whole Charlie Kirky have
to do. The curtains dropped absolutely. And you know, one
of the things that I've come to think is that
you can basically tell this person's politics by whether they're
getting their news from TikTok or not. If TikTok is
their main source of information, they're going to be far

(05:04):
left right. But if they're on Twitter, things are going
to be opening up. I find that fascinating. I've also wondered,
you know, with Antifa down at Ice night after night
after night, I've wondered how many people that were on
the left that lived in those neighborhoods have been like,
I've had enough.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
They're sick of it. They're sick of it. Even a guy,
I don't know if you saw one of the reels,
but even one of the Antifa guys, A guy's in
his face, a black guy, and he's saying, you think
I want to be here? The ANTIPA guy, yeah, was
saying you think I want to be here?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Why is he there? Exact?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I'm like, is he being paid? That's what I think yes.
I think they're being paid well.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I feel like that if the elections are fair, because
I feel like they have not been fair for a
long long time. If elections are fair, I feel like
the midterms we're going to take it like big time.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
