(01:03):
team salary cap wise.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Mm hmmm mmm.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I thought Sam Wu forgot to uh you know, that
song went on a little bit a little long there,
that intro song.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Right, it was not the only one.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I was like, where are we going?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Sam?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Fall asleep?
Speaker 3 (01:22):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
I was actually enjoying the twoes and like, oh crap,
we start this thing.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Okay, just curious, ran out, ran out of run the
infamous Sam Wu. I forgot what button I assigned it
to a moment there you.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Know, no, no, no, no, no, I was doing this,
Thank you Max.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Well you guys were looking like this on the only camera.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, you know what I was You know what I
was doing. I was looking as watching our friends who
join us from many different platforms from all around the world. No,
we have That's what I Whenever you see me looking down,
is because I'm reading what all of our lovely fans
are saying to us. Because this isn't just live, this
is live live, and we want to hear what you
(02:09):
have to say. And I'm sure you know every once
in a while will give you a shout out, Scott,
are you right?
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Oh about to sneeze?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
But I think I just pineapples?
Speaker 3 (02:22):
I got it? There we go.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Oh good, good catch, good catch. You know what happens
internally to your body when you catch a sneeze like that?
It is not good.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
No, do you want me.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Just do it? Just do it on live air? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
I'd rather not sneeze into the microphone over here.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Oh boy, it's all right, let's do it.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
There were better better out than in bud.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
First on the docket. First on the docket, Sam brought
up a good point about how the Devils have already
started making moves. In the first move that we're going
to be talking about tonight, because why not is the
illustrious move of one Aeric Halla. Now the trade back
to Nashville, where Eric Halla once played, so it's a
place that he's familiar with. The return back not bad.
(03:15):
It's we get a draft pick from the Nashville and
we also get a defensive prospect. So looking at this
from Afar, it saves the three point five million dollars
or it gets his three point five million dollars out
the book. It is a move that a lot of
people kind of thought was going to happen or something
(03:38):
similar was gonna happen, just because of Fitzgerald's remarks about
the lack of production from the bottom six at the
end of the year and holding people kind of accountable.
Do you feel that this is the preemptive summer of
big moves or do you feel like there's just gonna
be some tinkering. Do you think there's gonna be a
(03:59):
small move here and there, nothing, nothing too wild. I'm
kind of I'm kind of curious, because not shocked, but
I was kind of like, wow, it happened quick already, so.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, I mean, FITZI has said team's not coming back
looking the same way that it did last year, So
there's definitely gonna be a lot of moves made. I
think the biggest one is going to be an internal
promotion of one Luke Hughes, you know, getting himself a
(04:31):
nice fat, long term deal, which will be very cool.
But other than that, I mean, yeah, I think you're
looking at almost a completely new bottom six coming in here.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
So Halla was.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
One of the ones that a lot of Devil's fans
were asking about. You know, haulland Palot basically are the
two that you are the member.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
What are they taking a dump weather talking about it?
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (05:08):
You uh, what's going on? You buy them?
Speaker 2 (05:11):
And Fitzgerald would immediately say, stop calling me when you're
in the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
But no, I mean it's great that they got they
got Hallam moved. That was one, you know piece that
I think. You know, he he had, he had a
down year. He showed some life there at the end
of the season, but then you know, he went really
cold in the playoffs when you know we needed him
the most. So tough, but it is what it is.
(05:40):
I think it's, you know, for the better of the team.
You know, we'll see what they're able to do with Plot.
I think Lot is gonna get one more year in
in Jersey before he I mean, if fits he can
do it, okay, great, but I think we'll have one
more year with in Jersey and uh yeah, I mean, like,
I think there's gonna be a big difference in that bottom.
(06:02):
But I mean, I think a lot of that stuff
might come from I don't see. I don't think, I
guess to answer your question, I'm gonna go with no,
I don't think. I don't know if it's gonna be
big blockbuster type of deal. The big blockbuster deal is
going to be Luke signing. So I think it's gonna
be a lot of little pieces, if that's what you
were kind of more alluding to. I think there's gonna
be a lot of little pieces.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I think you know, you're gonna see the chance from
bu you know now that he signed, you know, gritz
Yuk is coming in. That was the finished kid that
they just that they signed as well. I think you're
gonna see a lot of these these guys get you know,
looks in training camp and then we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Well, I know, you know, and I know they're talking
about it over here. Max just said, you know, Cody
Glass was qualified at two point five million, so they
might be trying to back. They might be trying to
bring him back on a cheaper deal. Cheaper.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I wash. Yeah, I sent you guys that link the
other day. I was shocked when I read that because
of all the of all the bottom sick, bottom six,
I was like, all right, that's the one dude who's
definitely coming back next year. But yeah, maybe they're gonna
try and sign him for you know, cheaper. I'm not
sure see what the market is for him. He's still
a really young guy. But I can't see Bastion coming back.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
You know.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
You get to put Nolan Foot probably in that position,
like I said, the chance, we'll get his chance training camp,
you know. And he's a big, big kid, likes the
clear house. You know, he's captain of that Boston University
team from when he was like a sophomore, so he's
(07:48):
just a natural born leader. Having him, you know, down
there on that third or fourth line, you know, only
he's you know, he's not projected to be a top
six type player, but he could be a solid dude
down there on the third and four with lines, you know,
for years to come. You got to see how he does.
Of course, it's always a transition there, but he's a
big boy, likes to clear the front of that net.
(08:11):
And yeah, a good friend, you Goorov isn't that far
off either too.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
So well, here's here's a scenario too, though, that I
kind of want to throw out there, because you know,
the tinkering around. Giving a lot of these guys, these
these you know a chance, you know, all these guys
a shot is a great idea. But the only problem
is is how is Fitzgerald looking at this? Because is
(08:38):
he looking at this as like we have time or
is he looking at this like I need to make
this viable right now?
Speaker 3 (08:47):
And he's looking that's like I don't have a lot
of money. I don't know a lot of room. I
gotta I gotta resign Luke Cues and that's gonna be
half of my That's why I getting you know, moving
Halo was was very big. You know, if they could
somehow moved a lot, then it would be ampletely different story.
But I think right now it's just how am I
going to remake this bottom six and not do it
(09:07):
with spending a whole loads of money?
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Yeah, well, it's it could be retooling with a couple
of guys from the farm team, you know, from Utica,
bringing a couple of those guys and giving them a
real shot.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, I think Nolan Foot will get a shot, you know.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, place a bastion and and you know what, you
hate to see some guys go because you know, Eric
Hollo was a good teammate, Nate Bastian was a great
teammate by all accounts. And it's sad because when you
see guys like that go like people that you like,
it's like, yeah, it's a bummer, But that's part of
the business. I'm kind of curious if you know, there's
(09:49):
a there's still a lot of smoke going on with
the whole quinnhugheson. Now. Who knows what's going to happen
with it. It could be a lot of nothing. It
could be just a lot of you know, hot air
getting blown around and he's gonna be a free agent,
not next year, but I think the year after. So
does he you know, do the Devil's just waited out
and hopefully, uh, you know, make that happen. It's just
(10:14):
when you have a lot of these things going on
and who knows what the hell you know he wants
to do. But Fitzgerald has he has to really look
at it, like how big is this window? We just
saw the Florida Panthers based you know, beat the hell
out of everybody on their way to their their second
Stanley Cup Final, which, by the way, anybody that was
sitting there saying like Sam Bennett, Sam Bennett, Sam Bennett,
him win in the cons might just go way too high.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
It would be it would be great.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Everyone would love Sam Bennett on their team. But yeah,
his he's he's getting a pretty big raise.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
He's gonna get a big raise, but he's also is
it gonna be one of those contracts that's gonna age? Well,
I let dude, I would love to have Sam Bennett
on the Devils. I think he would be, of course,
a perfect fit for this team. I think he would
fit into you know, adding some more grit, some toughness,
obviously playoff experience through the roof. But I'm not gonna
(11:08):
pay him ten million dollars a year, you know, for
eight years or whatever that's gonna be, because he's probably
gonna be looking around that area and not only can
the Devil's not afford to do it right now. But
unless they move some major pieces like a Dougie Hamilton
and a pilot, I don't think it's a contract that
you want to get into long term.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
So no, agree, they would have to move some of
those bigger pieces, or you know, they're just gonna have
to wait until the cap goes up, you know, a
little bit more and more each year, and they could
have some more wiggle room. But yeah, right now, Sam
Bennett's gonna command quite a hefty, hefty command there. So unfortunately,
(11:50):
do not see Sam Bennett in the Devil's future. I
did see another Florida pant there loosely attached if he
does hit the market, and that would be one mister
Brad mar chen M formerly of the Boston Bruins, now
of the Cup winning Florida Panthers. Who uh what do
(12:14):
you put out the social post thanking the devils for what?
Jasper Boquist? And uh who else? Who else is down
there in Florida former devil someone else? Think of it
right now?
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there was there was Greer greer Vanchik
to yep, yep, yep, yep. Yeah, no, sick, I think
that and By the way, we'll talk about that in
a little bit. But how how I didn't even realize that. Yeah, yeah, no,
Sick was on that team. So there's like, uh, yeah,
I believe so yeah he did. They they handed the
(12:54):
cup to each other like these and then Brad Marshall
he trolled the Devils by saying thank you, thank you
New Jersey Devils on.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
He did that for every team, every team that they
Yeah it wasn't just us, but uh but we had
three frigging players or four freaking players in there that
he was thinking. So yeah, I think I think we
won that that part of it. Team with the you know,
most ex players on now on the Florida Panthers.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yeah, South Fork Sasquatch. Last Sunday was Father's Day. Brady
Kachuk is a dad coincidence. I think. Not put it
in the books. Yeah, yeah, exactly. See, at least somebody
knows what's what's gonna happen next. Yeah, there's gonna be
a big Dougie Hamilton to Ottawa straight one for one,
(13:45):
one for one right for Do you imagine Jesus well.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Would you would you entertain the idea of marsham coming
on and yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, listen, he's is he closer to forty? Yeah? I mean,
did he show you that he's still got a lot
left in the tank. I'll give him a short term,
you know, one two year deal. It's better to have
a guy like that on your team than to have
to play against him. I mean, he's a pain in
the ass. You know, he could still score. I don't
(14:17):
think he's gonna be commanding a ton of money. But
you know, I don't know. I wouldn't. I wouldn't be
upset if they got him. We'll put it that way.
Would I be upset if they don't get him?
Speaker 3 (14:29):
No?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
If would I be upset if they got him?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
No?
Speaker 2 (14:31):
So it's kind of one of those Okay, yeah, you
know what I'm saying, Like, that's there's certain players. No,
but you understand what I'm saying. There's certain players that
like when they pass up a lot of take No. Yeah,
I know. It's so it's so benign. It's just so like, uh,
some people like it, some people don't. I'm in the middle.
(14:52):
What do you want from me? But it's really it's
really how I feel about it. I Mean, there's there's
are you guys you're you're indifferent. I'm in different Yeah,
I could care less. Like with with him, would he
add to the team, yeah, sure, would he detract from
us not getting him? No, I mean outside of him
(15:15):
going to you know, uh, I don't want to speak
it into existence. So another team that I hate. Uh,
outside of that, Like, I could care less. I don't
care what he does, like if he if he wants,
If he ends up on a devil, then great. I
know somebody was just saying Bratt wouldn't give up his
sixty three to Marshan. No, nor nor would I think
(15:36):
Marshan would want him to.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
But no, no, I mean that would be a big
boost to the old secondary scoring there so, but would
cost some money. We all know that, and obviously not
something you want to do long term. But we know
Luke is going to be long term and he's gonna
(15:59):
cost a pretty penny as well. So well, Fitz, he's
got Fitz, he's got some work to do, some maneuvering
to see, uh, you know, man if he can swing
a trade. Obviously, Plot and Dougie are the two that
you you're thinking about if you're a fan here. Nothing
none that we want to but you know, those are
the obvious two that you would.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
You would, you would.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Because Luke is gonna take Dougie's spot, you know up
at the top there.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I know Dougie is. I think both of them have
a no movement no uh no trade clause. I'm pretty
sure I know. I know Dougie has a that no
movement clause.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
But yeah, and there's no I looked it up one time.
I don't I don't remember what it is off the
top of my head, though, but I think plots is
something is something like kicks in next. I think he
turns thirty five next year or something or someone or
maybe two years from now.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
I don't know the way he plays. He's turned thirty
five ten years ago, but said, slow, aarp the aarp
out there, don't immediately.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Turned forty one when he left the lightning?
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Well what ds?
Speaker 3 (17:11):
What he adds?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
How do you do one out there? I'm doing great?
Oh yeah, well happy birthday. How old are you? I'm
fifty eight? Oh good?
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Light on his birth birth certificate? Yeah, baseball.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
He pulled a pool host.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Yeah, let's have our pool hosts like sixty five years
old right now or something like that.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
He was like fifty hey, he was still hitting these
hitting dingers. Probably he was. He was, Yeah, to be
honest with you, like, it's just they're gonna have to
do a lot of maneuvering. They're gonna have to figure
out uh CAP's face there is I think what the
(17:56):
last time I checked this is before all the negotiating
of like uh Luke and all that kind of stuff.
I think there's fourteen point whatever whatever after you'll look
it up right now, Ah, what a guy? What a continue?
So depending on how much Luke is gonna get, right,
(18:16):
and now here's the bookmarks? Is it's very smart? Here's
the fourteen fourteen. I was close, so fourteen point three
and Luke. The thing about Fitzgerald is he said it
in an interview a while ago after I think it
was after he signed Jack to his deal. Is he
(18:39):
he gets the guys to buy into the notion of
like leave a little bit on the table because if
you don't, if you take all the pie to yourself,
then the team's going to starve. So is Luke gonna
take nine million to sign? Is he going to take
more than nine to five? Is it going to be
because you would think he's going to make more than
(19:00):
his brother.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
See if I was if I was Luke Hugh's, I
would ask for eight million and one dollar just so
I could be more than Jack, more than Jack. That's
what I would do as a as a as a brother,
you know like that, that would be the brother move
right there? Yeah, no, one take eight point one eight
point one?
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Actually, what if he says, I'll take I'll take seven
million dollars a year if you can figure out a
way to get my brother to New Jersey, and I'll
leave room. I'll leave a little wiggle room for for
Quinn to fit in here.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
That's when you say, sure, of course, yes, what do
you need here?
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yeah? What do you need?
Speaker 3 (19:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Absolutely, what do you need? And yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Why why's it?
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Hrug?
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Moving?
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Well?
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Kid? Reality hit you real hard, didn't it.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (20:01):
You learn learn you're getting paid in WU bucks over here.
Sam wuz swims in WU bucks like Scrooge McDuck in
the in the Money Bend from Ducktails. Sam does.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
And he's gone, he's gone, Luke six to six at
seven So you give him six years at seven million. Yeah,
it would be great. That would be great because you
got to think, listen, I know there's a lot of
people out there that say, like you could, oh, he's
going to command a lot, but what is he what
(20:40):
is he accomplished? Yet you're paying. You're paying on the future.
You're not paying on the present, right, So you're paying
on what he can become. And that's the gamble. You
see the bright side, you see like you see the potential,
you see everything that's out there, blah blah blah. You
see you know, the player that he was starting to become,
especially this year with PESHI, Yeah, you can see that
(21:01):
that that price tag going up. But you could always
be like, well, this is what have you done for
me lately? Kind of league, and you know you've done
some things, not a lot some So it's do you
pay on the future you pay in the present. And
I think that's why I don't get paid money to
do this kind of stuff because i'd.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
I think you're trying to be in the I think
you're trying to be in the Hughes brothers business. So
you're going to pay him up front because Luke has
all of the potential and all the tools to be
a perennial All Star and Norris, you know, a trophy
candidate so yeah, if you want to get Quinn over
(21:43):
there as well, then you need to go and take
care of Luke. If not, you know, I'm sure Jack
and Quinn will just kind of like rabbit punch him
in the arm, you know, until he does sign it,
you know, as brothers do, kick him in the balls
or something, you know, push him, trip.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Flick, little flick to sack.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
What Willie you gonna sign? Sign?
Speaker 2 (22:18):
What do you gonna do? Budded on his hair? What
do you gonna do? Buddy?
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Quinn smacks him in the back and then Jack puts
his hand out in the front so that he, like.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
God, knock it off. I'm taller than both of you.
I don't know why it made him sound like Napoleon Dynamite,
but anyways.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
But either way, I think you want to be in
the Hughes brother's business. So yeah, I think you're gonna
pay for that future. So you can lock in Luke
for a long term deal and if Quinn wants to
play with his brothers, leaves him very few options when
it comes, you know, free agency time, where he's going
(23:03):
to be looking.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, well I saw a report that he wouldn't mind
going to Toronto either. I mean, I think his thing
is he just wants to be on a perennial contender.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
But the thing is, and he probably should not be
going to Toronto then I mean.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Well if he if he comes, if he comes here,
I mean that automatically bumps us up to being, uh,
you know, this isn't the way. I'm just reading something
not the end of his deal and planning to leave.
If Quinn is under contract for a while, I'd say, yes,
(23:39):
probably that's the cost. Since Quinn is at.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
The end of a contract.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah, oh yeah, Tom says, wait until Quinn is a
free agent. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Well that's the other part of it too.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Yeah, Like, because you've got to look at the situation,
You're got to be like, well, what is it going
to cost us? It's going to cost you an Amatry Casey,
Anmage or a Casey. Rather, it's gonna cost you a lot,
a lot to just go into Vancouver. They're not gonna
be like, hey, we'll take who's that Palote guy you
got over there? Will take him. He's what seventy three
(24:16):
years old? That guy's good, it's good. I remember him
from the Tampa days. They're not gonna do that. They're
not gonna like give you like a deal, so they're
gonna rake you over the coals because they're gonna be like, well,
we know you want them. So if you wait until
free agency, that gives you another year, and it also
gives time for an image or Casey to like really
(24:36):
step up and to prove their worth. The thing that
this this season is tricky because, like I said before,
last year, with the amount of injuries, the Devil's kind
of they made the playoffs, we won one game. But
with a healthy squad, we all know that they would
(24:56):
have been or at least we can all imagine they
would have would have gone a little bit deeper further
than the first round. I feel like they would have
been able to match up with Carolina hell of a
lot better than they did, and they could have given
some other teams some fits. But it is what it is.
They got into the playoffs, everybody was hurt, everybody's broken,
everybody's shoulders are broken, and they win one game and
(25:20):
that was it. This year, you have to look at
it as is this a make or break year? You
can't miss the playoffs. I feel like that is a
absolute no. But you can't keep messing around like, oh, well,
well we will wait. We'll wait for Quinn. We'll wait
for Quinn. We'll wait for Quinn, whether it's one year
(25:40):
or two years or whatever it is. Because you don't
want to sit there in an idle, because you got
you got guys that are in their prime. You got Nico,
you have Jack, you have contracts that are gonna be
coming up soon. You think Nico Hesher wants to stay
here forever. And just like limbo, like yeah, it's cool
that we're for you know, team's progressing in the right direction,
but at some point you got to make that big
(26:01):
jump and guess what, there's a big bad team. There's
something I want to talk about in a minute, but like,
there's a big bad team in the Florida Panthers. Who
that's a big obstacle that we're gonna have to get over.
So are we building a team that's just gonna make
the playoffs? So you're going to build a team that's like, yeah,
you can go on a serious run.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Well, I mean that's obviously, that's obviously the goal I
think with rebuilding that bottom six, because you need to
be able to run all your lines out there. It
can't just be reliant on your top two lines to
do everything. So you have to rebuild that bottom six
(26:44):
to get that secondary scoring that was desperately you know needed.
And yeah we had a lot of defensive injuries again,
but injuries happen to everyone, so you're gonna have to
power through it. It's the playoffs. Everyone does it, and
that's what they're gonna have to learn how to do.
But I think they're I think they're in a good
spot with everybody. I don't think I don't think there
(27:08):
is any need to go out there and force a
trade with Quinn, with Vancouver for Quinn Hughes, because yeah,
Vancouver is going to ask the world for him, So
go ahead and go ahead and ask the old Toronto
maple leafs then and see what they'll give you. And yeah, great,
Quinn could play there for a year and then when
he's a free agent, the Devils can go sign him.
(27:29):
But I would not be yeah, sending packages of players
out when Quinn Hughes is going to be a free
agent soon. I just that that doesn't that doesn't make
any sense for me, because yeah, Vancouver is gonna try,
They're gonna try and get everything they possibly can, so
go sucker someone else and that'll be that, and then
(27:53):
we'll sign Quinn when we signed Quinn, and if we
happen to win the Stanley Cup before we signed Quinn,
all the better that he's gonna be even more motivated
to come here and win in the window with his brothers.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
So cool, fantastic, cool, sounds great. That sounds like a big,
a big cool party. Yeah, it sounds like, Yeah, dude,
sounds like a great time you guys. Uh, yeah, I
totally agree. I feel like if you're selling the farm
to get Quinn, Hughes is kind of out of the
picture unless unless and less and less and less, there's
(28:29):
something in the works where it's like it makes sense.
There's pieces that you can move that are gonna save you,
Like if doug I hate I hate to say Dougie
Hamilton because I really love the guy and he's been
amazing for this team. And last time we were on
we were talking about it about him being like that
you know, big name when everybody was like, nobody's going
to New Jersey and he was like, well I'll go
(28:50):
to New Jersey and kind of changed the narrative a
little bit and he's just been fantastic on and off
the ice for the team. But anyways, I mean he
was a guy a million dollars a year, you know,
so Bingo bangos. So that's what I'm getting at. So,
I mean, if if you could put that business into
the trade, it's a business. So if there's certain things
(29:11):
that if it, if it works where you're moving chips
around that are gonna not handcuff the franchise for the
next you know, eight to ten years, then yeah, and
then if if it makes sense, then you make it happen.
And I think that's where fitz is really smart about things,
like he doesn't jeopardize a team all the time. You know,
Andre Pilot, I'm withstanding everybody's allowed one. Everybody's like, you
(29:40):
ever go golfing? You ever allowed to breakfast ball? He's
andrelt is Fitzgerald's breakfast ball. That's it, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Ball?
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, that's the that's the mulligan for the for the round. Right, Yeah,
you wait, every time I go golfing. Now I'm gonna
be instance saying I don't mean.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
You go golfing all the time.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
What is this?
Speaker 3 (29:57):
He's like said in text Buss will won't go you guys, Yeah,
I never, I never.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Do you have plaid pants?
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Do you have plaid pants?
Speaker 2 (30:07):
No? But if I look like that, I kicked my
own ass. Uh no, my plaid pants.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
That will help you out.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I don't own plant Okay, mister cool man, I don't
go golf.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
I'm telling you, if you have the confidence to wear
those pants and pull it off, then you'll have confidence
at the team, my friend, and on the green.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
That's the stupidest thing I ever heard, But I like it.
I'm gonna go. You might have convinced me. You might
have convinced I'm gonna go buy. I'm gonna buy. I'm
gonna take a picture, and I'm gonna send it right
to you.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Some plaid pants. Maybe gonna help my golf game?
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Maybe I will, Maybe I will. Yeah, just shave a
couple of strokes right back you.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
You definitely one of those like caps with the big
snowball thing, you know, like the.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
With the big snowball.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
If I had one of those, I would I would
rock one of those.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Yeah, you go, plaid pants and the plaid pants there
you go.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Look like bagger vans out there? Uh, going going back,
going back to like the ability to move move money around,
you know, if if they can't do that, there's there's
also options out there that we've covered in the last
couple of episodes. Are you okay over there?
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Oh fine, I was just reading some of the comments.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Why oh no, your head was down. I thought you
you were losing your mind. No, there are some there's
some options out there that are not the big, flashy
Mitch Marner's uh or the Sam Bennett's that are a
little bit more reasonable that we went over a couple
of weeks ago. So there's there. The Devils do have.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Some of them are off the board already.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Well yeah, which is crazy because like there's a few
of them that I'm like, oh yeah, yeah, that'd be perfect,
that'd be perfect, and then whatever. But there's a name
that keeps getting thrown around that I see now. Listen,
a lot of the things that are out there right now,
it's it's either a speculation or b people just throwing
stuff against the walla Steveen sticks but Robertson from the
(32:16):
Dows Stars, I know we touched about this, you know,
a little while ago. This is a team that's going
to be a little tight of money. You think we're
tight on money, They're very tight on money. So it
could be a name that could be out there or
floated out there. Once again, that's another name that's going
to end up costing you an arm and a leg.
But it's an interesting name to get thrown out into
(32:38):
the mix. And there always seems to be.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Name.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Didn't they.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Aren't they like negotiating with him or something like that.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, I mean that's what everybody says. Everybody's negotiating because
you don't want to tip your hand and be like, yeah,
this dude's available unless like he's absolute like goner, and
you're like, I can't, We're not gonna be able to
keep him, so hell yeah. Like if you take your
best shot at it. Mm hmmm, Ted clickbait, you might
be right Ted. There's a lot of that going Like
(33:13):
this is that time of year where there's like you
click on something and you're like, oh, oh.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
His contract expires next year, right, mm yes, I believe so,
And then he's an RFA right because he's yeah, that's right.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
We need two way players. I know Ted loves that
Sam Bennett, but guess what, buddy, Sam Bennett just priced
himself out of our market. He priced himself unless all
you want to do this summer is get Sam Bennett
and resend Luke, which would not be a bad summer,
but there's more to more work to be done.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
We do have a lot of good people in the WA.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
What was that article that you that you sent Who's
it from Buffalo? That they were they were real?
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Yeah, I mean again, he's another one too that he
wants out of Buffalo like everybody And.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Oh I think Scotti froze there?
Speaker 1 (34:25):
I am.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
You did?
Speaker 3 (34:28):
Uh Spectrum Internet? Yeah, yay, yeah, but yeah, I mean
everyone wants to get out of Buffalo. So I think
he's asking for a large amount of money, which I
think would be kind of out of the devil's uh
price range. Again, because of the Luke thing, I think
(34:50):
you're going to be looking at a lot of internals,
and I think you're going to be looking at the
you know, some of those lower priced options out there.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
That's why I was surprised when they non tendered Cody Glass.
I really thought that he would definitely be on the
list to come back. Like I said, I think Nolan
Foot will probably take.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Bastion spot.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Who's the other guy that they signed the ft Lafarge?
How the hell do you say that dude's name? I
don't know, Oh, Lagart Legar Legard was because he's he
(35:45):
signed a one year deal, and I believe that's a
one one contractor that's a one way contract.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
So I'm I'm you know, that's what I'm wondering.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Curtiss are going to come back? Are they going to
bring Sprang back? Mmm?
Speaker 2 (36:03):
They were talking. I saw a report that they're possibly
in contact with Sprong. Guess who I don't want back? Sprong? Uh,
guess who? He could sprung right out of here. I
think I think that Cody Glass. I would be shocked
if you see him sign for like one point five
(36:23):
or or something a little bit.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
I mean, he was what I like, I think he
was at two five right.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah, But if you're trying to pinch every penny you
can to try to make certain things happen, then it
makes a lot of sense. Yeah, I guess, I mean
a lot.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
But yeah, I don't know what Fitzy is working on there.
I mean maybe there's some other bigger deals in the works,
but yeah, that'd be something that'd be nice, I know,
I I know I had mentioned Victor Olafson, who was
out there in Vegas this year my be you know,
(37:00):
a very inexpensive one or two year type of contract
candidate over there. There's always PTOs as well.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Yeah, hey, and we've had some sneaky PTOs happened, so yeah,
you know, there's a lot of guys that come in
when Vern Fiddler, who knew Old.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Vern Fiddler wasn't Vern Fiddler a trade I thought.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
He was from Dallas. I think he got him from
Dallas or something. Yeah, I think we got him from
Dallas or he or he went to Dallas after after
the Devils. I could have sworn he was a a PTO.
He was. I think there's somebody there was somebody of
the Verne Fiddler ilk that I'm thinking of around that time.
That was Lee step Stepneyak was a PTO.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
He was a PTO.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Yeah, he was a PTO and he was on his
like thirty eighth team even though there's only you know,
thirty two thirty two in the NHL. Derek, I think
this guy played for the the Minnesota Timberwolves too. I
don't know, he's uh all around the place. It's a
Milwaukee Brewer who was the one.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
Dude, there's some defenseman that was a PTO and he
did good and then the Devils didn't signed him. Then
he played for the friggin Rangers. The Rangers signed him up.
I played defense for them for like a couple of years. Yeah,
I know that was Russian. Russian dude. I can't remember
who it was, but either way, Yeah, there'll be some
(38:30):
PTOs to maybe fill some stuff out. But I think
there's gonna be a lot of internals there with that
Finnish kid with gritz Yuk with the chance.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Uh interesting, I'll throw this one out there. Here's an
interesting one because and uh him. I can't pronounce anybody's
names as you know that other kid that uhi.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Oh yeah, I'm just referring to him until I hear
someone actually stay the Finnish kid.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Hammah hamma, hamona, hamonom whatever that kid's name is.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
And then there's.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Who else did they get?
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Oh yeah, that Lenny. There's Lenny Lenny and Lenny.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Lenny Lenape That's what I'm calling.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Him, Lenny. I wish we had a Caral on the team,
Lenny and a Carl. That would be great.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
If the man wanted.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
It was a grape soda you would have asked for.
Carl Carl, Oh my god, the State. Bring him back
to the state. Chicken Sandwich, Carl, Carl. You see that
big wide open gate over there. Yeah, one day when
you were napping, I walked up to it and I
walked out. Don't that beat all Jimmy Douke. Anyways, one
(39:56):
of my favorite shows of all time. Yeah, Lenny, thank you,
Ham Sandwich. H Jacob, thanks for that. Him and no
ho him him and nahh that's all right, all right,
So yeah, we got we got him. He's good. He's good,
(40:20):
these freaking guys. So there's but there's a name a
guy that's been training. Uh he's back in the Jersey
area doing a little doing a little training. And he
went onto the practice rink last year and he went
in the.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Practice ham and nam.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Ham hamm and na ho ho hamm and nah. You
gotta really put the stank on the hoe on the
end of that one.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go like the soprano style Hama
ho oh ham and noyes Max Max guest.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Max guessed that the goose is loose.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Uh you.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Again, he might he might be a p t O.
I would not be shocked if that kid ended up
being a p t O. Alright, so and if he was,
I give him, I give him a look a looxie, Lou.
You know everybody had high hopes for the for the
Russian goose. You give him a little looxie, Lou. Yes
see what he got.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
You know, I'm so glad you're not our general manager.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yeah, that'd be like, uh, give him a looxie, Lou.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
What do you say?
Speaker 2 (41:35):
I got a feeling, I got an itch. I got
an itch about this kid. You're gonna give us a
big fat cigar hanging out of my mouth. Su just
wearing a red blazer and plaid pants like red hour box.
What are you doing in the office. I'm tinkering with
the team. And it got like a big like like
(41:57):
uh like Charlie for always Sunny, that big pepe Selvia.
I know what I found there for center. It's pet
pee Sylvia. I don't I gotta tell you anyways, what
was the Oh?
Speaker 3 (42:14):
Yeah, I remember remembering uh Horrible Bosses when he writes
on the board like murder, but he writes it in
sharpie and go to erase it and it's yeah, it's like, no,
these are not erasable. These are these we don't write
with these.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
But by the way, by the way, if you ever
do write with a permanent marker on a whiteboard and
you need to erase it, you draw over top of
it with a dry erase marker and it erases it. Oh,
okay more. You know that's a little weird life hacks. Yeah,
(42:51):
so listen that the team, the team has options. Fitzgerald
has a busy, uh summer coming up. There's gonna be
a lot of things going on. You know, the draft.
We do not have our number one because we traded
it away to get Jacob Marstrom. So in the first
round of the draft is how do you do Nobody
in particular two second rounders though we have two second rounders,
(43:13):
And listen, it feels kind of good not to have
to sit there and be like, what are we going
to do in the top three picks? Man? You know
it is.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
Two second rounders, two fourth and two sixth and then
one and no, no first, fifth or seventh. We get
out after the sixth. That's fine.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
He's like, you know what I think about the draft numbers?
You could take those odd numbers. Shove them, picking in
one odd number round every year.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
That's all I'm doing. You want this odd number, you
could take it. You want to seven, shove it in
your ear. Now, where's my where's my stogies? I kind
of wish he was like that, like this old tyrannical
(44:09):
Meredith from uh old men, Yeah, exactly, show him. I
mad at gott Anyways, uh uh, it's it's gonna be weird.
The draft is going to come and go. Who knows,
because we've we've said in the past, like, oh, something
can happen during the draft, something can happen during the draft,
(44:32):
and nothing happens during the draft. You know, Fitzgerald has
had years where he's had three first you know first overall,
not first overall picks, but three first round picks, and
uh he did not move a single one of them.
He ended up getting some decent some decent picks. You know,
we're all out of mulligan here and there. Two of
(44:54):
those guys are not are no longer with the team.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
How how many mulligans were given here? Because if you
if you played ball or something breakfast.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Ball, you know, a lunch ball, un ball, lunch all, yeah, dinner,
the early Bird, special ball, A lot of balls, A
lot of balls. I was trying to say, Yeah, dude,
(45:27):
I don't know, Like, did you got the draft coming up?
Then you have free agency coming up. There could be moves,
there could be trades. The fact that he already moved
Ari Kala and he actually got something back in return
for it was kind of surprising. Yeah, thats just I.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
There might be a move at the draft. You know,
maybe he's able to make a deal there and move
you know, one or the one or the other or somebody.
You know, but you're thinking together, well, Dougie, you're thinking
one of the the top of your head, you know. Yeah,
but if there is someone else, yeah, I'm not sure.
(46:07):
I just can't see him moving Nemets after that, after
that playoff rum run, and I can't see them giving
up on Casey like so soon.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
So Tommy D's got a good point. Though they traded
Marino last year at the draft. I forgot.
Speaker 3 (46:23):
I completely forgot about that. So so yeah, it's things happen.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
Ryan, O'Reilly please, says Max.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Okay, hey, guys, I'll get a high lot jersey tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
You're getting the Okay, put it in the cart.
Speaker 2 (46:44):
Put it in the very least. What day is the
actual draft? What day is the actual draft? Is the
twenty What the hell is it? What is the draft? Man?
That's twenty seventh? Friday?
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Friday is Friday and Saturday, right yep?
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Oh boy, Ted wants to keep Nemage. He says emphatically,
I don't think you.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
I don't think you move Nemas right now or or
or casey.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
No, just because if you can't guarantee you're gonna get
some big guns in the future, then these kids, I mean,
Neamaged in the playoffs was one of the few bright spots,
you know, outside of Mark Strom who stood on his head.
Nemah had a He had a big showing when the
(47:41):
lights were the brightest. So, you know, good on the kid.
Let's just hope that he stays motivated and he and
he comes into season and he doesn't you know, I know,
he was hurt last year and a lot of people
were like, oh, the injury kind of really set him back,
and maybe that was the case, but I would really
like to see damage elevate his game to like not
(48:02):
be in the a h L. I don't don't put
that as a question mark, you know, like, don't put
yourself in a position where it's like, uh, we have
the option to send you down. Guess where you're going.
Their bust is out back and it's not even gonna
wait for you. The old the old lou Lambrel days
doesn't the bust doesn't wait for anybody. But yeah, he
(48:26):
needs to step it up. I mean, yeah, they got yes, Max,
they have Edwards. There's they have, they have they have
some talents.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
What's his name? Yeah, the other the the other defenseman
from Michigan.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
From Michigan. Yeah, Ethan Edwards.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
Ethan, Yeah, ye is it?
Speaker 2 (48:44):
Is it Ethan? I just guessed I just went off
of what you said.
Speaker 3 (48:49):
For some reason, I'm thinking of that, or maybe I'm
confusing it.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
With with the actor Ethan Edwards?
Speaker 3 (48:56):
Is there an actor?
Speaker 2 (48:58):
Yeah? From Days of Our Lives.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
You didn't that.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
No, you are totally making our lives. I'm totally making
that up. I'm totally making that up to teach.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
Yeah, it must be.
Speaker 3 (49:13):
Yeah, that was being a teacher lounge thing. You know.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Edwards might be in NHL. Yeah, indeed, indeed it is
Ethan Edwards. You are you are corrects a two way deal. Yeah,
he's promising, but he's also could be promising, uh blue
chip for somebody that's looking for a defenseman to develop,
(49:39):
considering we have a lot of young defensemen. Oh and yeah,
and they have the kid from Russia who's monster silly
of and I hope they hold on to that kid
because I feel like, like Mohammed Dulan, like when it
got rid of him, I was kind of bummed out
(50:00):
because I'm like, I felt like that kids got a
ton of potential and hopefully, you know, good good on
him for being in San Jose so we never have
to see him except for twice for a year. But
I don't know. I hate, I hate giving up on prospects,
but sometimes you have to do it. You have to
pull the trigger to make it happen, just because like
there's you can only hold onto assets for so long
(50:23):
until they just go rotten. And I mean, if you
don't have anywhere to put them, at least use them
to fix, you know, other holes in the team.
Speaker 3 (50:32):
Yeah, and he's you know, he's playing on the NHL, right, Yeah,
I think he's not. I think he's only nineteen or
twenty years old at the moment. And one really good
thing about one of the first moves Tom Fitzgerald made
in this summer with bringing in Shaw. You know who
(50:52):
is a great defensive mind that's going to attract some
of those prospects. You know, Oh, do I want to
make that jump? You know they're over in Sweden, they're
over in Russia wherever. You know, Oh do I leave home?
Do I make the jump?
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Well?
Speaker 3 (51:05):
We when you have an opportunity to work with a
coach who mentored so many you know, defensive studs playing
in the game, now, I would think you'd take that opportunity.
So it makes jumping ship. And Okay, I'm a contracts down.
I'm not resigning a one year deal. I'm heading over
because we saw that with muhammadul and there was a
(51:27):
lot of delays until he finally got here.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (51:31):
Hopefully sillyev or however exactly you.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
Pronounce his name.
Speaker 3 (51:35):
I'm not one hundred percent sure. You know, we don't
see those we don't see those delays, and we get
him here sooner rather than later.
Speaker 2 (51:46):
Yeah, hopefully it's not like Ritzia where you're like, oh,
this guy's still on our team, though, Like when do
we draft him in two thousand and five, like what
now this guy getting here? Yeah, so and that he's
such under like that. That's one of the biggest things too,
is like you see guys come from Russia and it's
like it's the Khl. It's a different it's a different game,
(52:10):
you know, and like you hope that oh yeah, Goosev,
like he lit it up in the Akhl and he
came over to the United States and it's like man like, man, okay,
Like I hope that's not the case. I hope he
comes over and he gets to play on Jack, you know,
with Jack or whomever, and he does well. Just like
(52:32):
you know, that's it's like the unknown of what's what's
gonna happen. I guess you could say that for anybody,
because here's the funny thing. Sam Bennett when he was
drafted or the year that he was drafted, I don't
know if you guys remember this. He couldn't do a
single pull up during the combine and people ripped him
and absolutely like, try, this is a waste of a
(52:55):
pick because this kid can't even look at him, he
can't even do a pull up. How's it going to
be able to play in the ANHL and here we are.
So it depends on your developmental program, it depends on
your AHL team, It depends on like how sometimes like
kids are late bloomers, like you know, eighteen nineteen years old,
they're not that big and then I'm boom, they bulke out.
(53:19):
I I just you know, I would like to see
that kid stick around. I would hopefully that he ends
up in the system sooner and later. And then as
far as Gritzik, I hope he comes over and he
sets the world on fire because that would be absolutely amazing.
It'd be great for us because guess what, you get
that on the cheap. Although I think he's only on
like a one year deal, I don't know how it
(53:42):
works with his contract. I think it's going to be tricky.
I don't know if he's the UFA as of like
next year. So it's like, I don't know how that works.
I gotta look at that.
Speaker 3 (53:52):
U boom boom, boom boom boom. Gritz Yuk is, yeah,
he's an RFA after next so because he's twenty four
years old, like we were just talking about. So yeah,
I think we should get to some final thoughts on
the evening wrap up this wonderful edition of the old
(54:16):
Let's Go Devil's podcast, number twenty eight. Don't forget to
like follow, subscribe of course, go to American Whisky even
in the off season. It's still fun. You can watch
the Mets or the Yankees whatever you want. There going
on at America Whiskey, right across the street from the
Prudential Center. And my final thought is actually nothing really
(54:41):
to do with hockey at all, but just that it
was really cool that this was the fiftieth anniversary of
the movie Jaws being released to the masses back in
the day. And I just remember watching that when I
was a kid, and it, you know, scaring the Jesus
said of me about with with sharks and everything and
(55:05):
not wanting to go into the ocean and all that
sort of fun stuff. But yeah, it was a hell
of a friggin movie, man, and some really great acting
performances in it. And if you see the behind the
scenes on how they actually made it, you know, like
not on set, they were out in the ocean doing that.
It was back in that time. The technologies weren't as good,
(55:28):
you know, So boat goes down. That's a lot of
equipment getting salt rusted there down at the bottom of
Arthur's vineyard where they were filming. So yeah, kudos to
them for making just an incredible movie all around and
scaring the living hell at everyone. You know, fifty years
fifty years going now.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
It's just crazy to think that's one of my all
time favorite movies too that same as you growing up,
that was like a movie that I watched on repeat,
probably you know, shaped the bizarre o brain that I
have now. But fun fact is, like that movie was
filmed in it was super cold. So all the beach
scenes where you see people in the water and like
(56:09):
everybody's in bathing suits and bikinis and whatever, it was
like pretty freaking cold out when they were filming it.
I yeah, I'm the same way. I like a history
buff on that movie. I love that movie. But anyways,
my final thoughts are, the off season is here. Boys.
It is summertime, so that means there's gonna be a
lot of change. There's gonna be a lot of things
(56:30):
going on. Time to get excited for what the season
has to hold. Hopefully everybody's getting better and getting healthier,
like Jack and Luke and Timo and jasper and everybody surprised.
Like surgeries that they announced at the end of the year.
I would like to see our general manager be active
and busy over the next couple of weeks. I will
(56:53):
be on a cruise this time next week, so I
will be away on a sign So I'm gonna have
to wait to find out what happens, which is always
interesting because I don't have the Internet package because I'm
not paying fifty bucks a day for internet. It's stupid.
It's a great way to cut off from reality. Man,
just put your your phone into the safe and just
(57:16):
lock that son of a bitch up for a week
and just check in and check out. But anyways, so
fun thing is when you hit your destination, you get
to turn on your phone for a minute and be like, dang.
That's how I found out about the team O myer trade.
That was actually the same thing when they made it official.
I was on a cruise and I got somewhere I
was like, oh, it's official, so it's kind of fun.
(57:36):
But anyways, so I will not be here next week
over the week after, but.
Speaker 3 (57:44):
Sam and you're muted.
Speaker 4 (57:52):
Yeah, I'm getting rusty. I gotta get my a game
back about to say that I was gonna text you're
bearing on his trip that Sheldon Surrey is coming back.
Final thoughts. I'm hoping for a big splash. I'm hoping.
(58:17):
I'm hoping that he's going to clear out some more
salary and maybe maybe FITSI can can do something about
that bottom six and maybe add one mean glue liner.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
On this team. Just a thought, that's all I have
to say. That's it, all right. Yeah, I'm pretty rusty,
but we will have a cover next week.
Speaker 4 (58:58):
We'll have to discuss Scottie how we're gonna do this
next week on July first, because I'll be podcasting some
more and then I go on a cruise after beer bar.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
But I'll pay the fifty bucks a day Internet. Anyway.
Speaker 4 (59:19):
I want to thank all those tuning in dropping the
podcast at midnight.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
We're back. There's more Devil's news coming up, I'm sure.
Until next time, let's go Devils
