The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari encourages you to get back on your feet even when life pushes you down with unexpected changes or challenges. Have you run into a wall when you were previously so confident in what you were doing? Maybe you have faced a rejection that has left you feeling disappointed and critical of yourself. Join Nancy as she discusses overcoming setbacks and staying perseverant in your goals even in hard times.

Our first caller wonders how she can become motivated to find a hobby for herself after her depression diagnosis. Nancy advises her to view her depression as an abundance of emotion that can be channeled into hobbies that promote creativity, such as painting. Flipping the script on the way you’re feeling and searching for the admirable parts in a setback can allow you to be kinder to yourself and find hobbies that bring you peace and joy. Tune in to find out how rising up from defeat can make you stronger than ever.

Our inspirational guest Victoria Reynolds had to find the courage to get back up several times after feeling voiceless and lost on her path. Growing up in a Polygamist cult, Victoria’s life was planned out for her from the very beginning, including being promised to a man in his forties when she was only eleven. Hopeless that she would ever find freedom, Victoria found herself on the edge of a cliff with the intent of taking her life. All the while, a voice inside her insisted that there must be a better life for her out there, and so she stepped away from the cliff and ran away from the only life she had ever known to find her true destiny. Although this was not the last time Victoria would face hardship– eventually having to start from scratch after the 2008 recession and upon separating from her husband– she now had the strength she needed to stand back up after being pushed down by the trials and tribulations of life. Tune in to discover how Victoria refused to give up and continued to rebuild her life despite the many setbacks she faced.

Perhaps you are tired from being pushed down by life’s challenges and are ready to lie down and accept the hand you were dealt. Try to remember what drives you and why you need to keep fighting. Focusing on your goals and making small steps towards them even when you feel discouraged is part of what it means to live full out.
