Live Full Out by Accepting
Being able to accept ourselves is a key part of being fully content and satisfied with our lives. When we are unable to believe in every part of ourselves, we let insecurity and uncertainty take over. The Living Full Out show helps listeners recognize the role that acceptance plays in truly understanding and valuing themselves. On today’s episode of Living Full Out, Nancy shares how personal acceptance can help us achieve our goals, dreams and aspirations. .

Our first caller Jordyn is struggling with the trials of being in a long distance relationship and wants to know what she can do to stay positive. Listen as Nancy shows Jordyn how to value every moment she has with her boyfriend and reach out to her family and friends for support when she can’t be with him.

Our next caller Jen likes her job but doesn’t know if it aligns with her long term career goals. Tune in to hear Nancy encourage Jen to pursue her dreams of teaching high school students and take advantage of the opportunities to change her career.

Today’s inspirational guest is Kevin Hines, who survived a suicide attempt on the Golden Gate Bridge which led to fifteen years of recovery in and out of psych wards. In his youth, Kevin struggled with depression, bipolar disorder and mental illness which led him to feel alienated and alone. Listen to hear how Kevin has been able to use his personal struggles to inspire and motivate other young people suffering from depression, as Nancy encourages him to accept his past and push forward for a brighter future.

Our final caller is Shauna, who feels like she can never meet her parents’ expectations of her. Hear how Nancy encourages Shauna to recognize that her parents are proud of her and to try and live her life on her own terms.

As we strive for success in our personal and professional lives, it can become easy to be critical and doubt our own self-worth. When we accept ourselves, we are able to live fully and freely and work to achieve our goals without hesitation. Acceptance can be the first step to motivate our dreams and the first step towards living full out.
