start mastering to take your Taro readings to the next level.
Whether you're brand new to reading Taro and giving readings
or you've been doing so for a while, you're going
to love this episode. It's full of mindset shifts and
really practical techniques that you can use to just take

and of course the practical skills and techniques. But before

topic today, which is very related, of course, but this
is really about you taking yourself seriously as a Taro

You know, if you're just like googling Tarot card leanings
or doing a little bit of like training here and there,
and you're not really ever sort of pushing yourself or
like really taking yourself seriously, it's going to be hard
for you to really be confident with your readings and
charge your wealth for them and of course using them.

can start mastering to take your Taro readings to the
next level. Now again, I just want to emphasize, whether
you are brand new to reading Taro or you've been
doing so for a while, you can also use these
right away. Okay, all of the things I'm teaching you
in this episode are taken directly from The Confident Reader Mastermind,

where I go in depth into all of these with
a lot more detail on of course, practical steps, but
I want to give you some powerful, powerful value right now.
So the first thing that you can do to take
your readings to the next level is to start using
your gifts. I always say to my clients and students
inside The Confident Reader Mastermind, anyone can pick up a
(05:54):
deck of Tarot cards and google the meanings. Okay, that's
actually not a reading, but anyone can do that. The
magic of the reading is you, it's the reader.

Okay.

So what really will bring a lot more magic and
power to your readings is you using your gifts.
Speaker 2 (06:10):

Now that doesn't just mean that you're giving psychic messages
to your client, not at all. What it means is
you're using your intuition to read the cards. You're using
your intuition to tell a story with the cards. You're
also using your intuition to sort of choose, for example,
which piece of the card to go into to read
(06:31):
and of course share now that we'll go onto that
in a little bit. But your intuition is the key, right,
It's the magic of the reading, you know. How A
lot of people will say like, the most powerful part
of therapy is the relationship with your therapist. I feel
that the most powerful part of a reading, you know,
is the gifts of the reader. Right, It's the intuitive
gifts and magic of the reader that's what really brings
(06:53):
the whole thing alive. So I want you to start
thinking about how you can start using your gifts more
in your readings. Think about what gifts you have, right,
getting clear on your gifts and your abilities, and then
start using them. Your intuition is like a muscle, right,
it only gets stronger when you use it. If you
don't use it, it will get weaker. Okay, I'm not going
(07:14):
to be like fluffy about it.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
It will just get weaker.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
So you have to start getting clear on what your
gifts are and then using them in the readings. And
you use them, of course to read the cards, but
you can also use them to share insights and guidance
that you're receiving. You know, I'm a very intuitive person obviously, right,
I'm very clairvoyant and clere sentient. I have other gifts
(07:37):
as well. But when I'm giving my readings to clients,
of course I'll read the cards, but I'll also tell
them things I'm seeing, sensing, feeling, sometimes hearing, also knowing,
and again that's the magic of the reading. Right now,
this leads beautifully into part two, which is going deeper
with the cards. Again, anybody can google bullet points on
(07:59):
a card or basic meanings that really is of no value, Okay,
going deeper with the cards. It's all about really understanding
the magic of a reading. Okay, Now I did a
I'm doing a video series on TikTok where I'm sharing
tips on how to give terror readings with confidence. Make
sure you go and check those out as well. Going
deeper with the cards is really the key. It's the
(08:23):
key from going from let's say good, doing a good
reading to giving a great reading. Learning how to go
deeper with the Tarot cards is the difference between being,
you know, a good reader who like people like going
to being an amazing reader who people deeply value and
connect with and respect. Okay, and when I say respect,
I mean you respecting yourself as well. But let me
(08:45):
give you some examples. So in front of me is
the Magician card. Now, the Magician card has a number
of beautiful meanings, which you can of course give in
a reading, right, But to really go deeper, you can
look at things like the symbols in the card. You
can look at what the person is wearing, what's in
the background of the card. You can look at the
(09:06):
body language of the person, what they're holding or what
they're doing with their hands, and what's in front of them. Now,
the reason this ties in so beautifully with the point
just now is your intuition is the key to which
part of that you bring out. Okay, So I'm not
suggesting for a moment that you read all of the
symbols on each card in every reading you're doing. That
(09:29):
would actually be just overwhelming and not very helpful. Instead,
what you do is you trust your intuition that you
will notice on that card what is most meant for
your client. So, for example, you could be reading for
one person and you might be drawn to the infinity
symbol above the magician's head, right. You might be drawn
to that and of course the message that it has
(09:50):
about tapping into infinite potential and possibilities. You might be
drawn to the arms, the arm pointing up representing as
above and the arm pointing down representing so below. And
you might ask your client about, you know, how you're
seeing yourself in this situation, and how is this playing
out for you?
Speaker 2 (10:09):
How can you.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Adjust, like your inner world right to sort of create
more of what.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
You want here?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
You might be drawn to, for example, the altar in
front of the magician and reminding your client of using
the tools that they have. Now again, I'm not suggesting
in one reading that you use all of those symbols,
but your intuition is going to be the key inside
the Confident Reader mastermind. I teach you about the symbols
and how to use them, and of course how to
connect to the ones that are most important for your
(10:35):
clients as well. And the key there is absolutely using
the power of your intuition. I also want you to
think about your intuition again as just being this beautiful
gift that you have, and it's like a muscle Okay,
you want to know how to train it and take
care of it, and a big part of that is,
of course using it as well. Going deeper with the
(10:56):
cards also allows you to really give your client a
powerful reading that will impact them. It'll give them magical messages,
and it will also help them to come away from
the reading feeling empowered. Okay, it's not about bullet point
meanings or I think this could mean, or you know
this could mean several things. That's not helpful, right, Going
(11:16):
deeper with the cards is about connecting to the energy
of the card, noticing what your intuition is noticing about
the card, and then connecting that to your client. Another
way you can, of course go deeper with the card
is telling stories with it.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Right.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
You can choose a few cards and then you can
look at the story that those cards are telling as
if each one of them is like a scene from
a movie. These are all techniques I teach inside the
confident reader master mind. So if you like this, just
dive in. You'll love it. But that's the second piece
for you. Okay, So so far we've got using your
intuition and gifts bringing those into the reading. Then we've
(11:50):
got going deeper with the cards using your intuition as well. Now,
the next piece is one of my favorites to teach,
and it's coaching your client to ask empowering questions. Okay,
coaching your client to ask empowering questions. My amazing students
from Confident Reader master Mind who are listening know exactly
what the example I'm going to use.

Next.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Let's say you have a client who asks you, will
my book be successful? A basic Tarror reader or an
average Tarror reader will read on that.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Okay, let's take a look, babe.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
I'm going to actually just challenge that and say in
the bin with that, that is not empowering, it's not helpful,
and it's actually your client giving their power away. What
I do in my readings and what I teach my
students to do, is coach the client to ask empowering questions.
So let's say your client says to you, will my
book be successful? You can say, great question. I understand
(12:47):
that your book being successful is obviously really important to you. Right,
let's take a look at what you most need to
know about how you can make your book successful. You
always want to give your client their power back. Will
I meet someone this year. Again, No, in the bend,
the question should always be putting them back in their power.
What do you most need to know about how to
(13:09):
meet someone you know that's right for you at this time?
What can you let go of to move forward with
meeting with someone? Meeting someone right? And then you can also,
of course use your gifts to sort of recommend things
they can do, steps they can take, what else you
might be picking up on. But always coach your client
yes or no questions. No, I do not recommend those
(13:30):
for a second. I think they are oversimplified and just
not helpful. Any question that's overly sort of predictive again, Nope.
What you want to be doing is really empowering your
client to get back into the magic of their life.
So instead of asking yes or no questions or you know,
predictive questions, coach your client to ask an empowering question.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Very very occasionally, you might.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Have someone who doesn't want to do that, and that
can give you a lot of insight into where they're
at with their mindsets. So let's say someone doesn't want
you to say, what can you do that can show
you that that person actually doesn't really want to be
in their power. You can of course choose to then
read on what they ask or coach a little bit
on it. But my point is you want to always
coach your clients to ask empowering questions and of course
(14:19):
to also be in their power. Bonus tip for you here,
and this is something I'm really excited to share with you.
This is something I taught a few weeks ago inside
the Confident Reading Mastermind and it's JSTMB. Just share the message, babe.
Stop overthinking it and just share the message. When you're
giving your reading to your client, you're going to be
(14:40):
picking up stuff. You're going to be getting intuitive feelings.
You're going to be maybe seeing things, You're going to
be maybe sensing things. You're going to be noticing things
in the cards. I don't want you to overthink it. Okay,
this is one of the key skills. I mean, they're
all key skills, but this is really going to take
your intuitive work and your reading to the next level.
Or just share the message, babe. Don't worry about impressing
(15:03):
your client, worrying about getting it wrong, trying to impress
your client, you know, wanting them to like you, hoping
you don't say whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Don't do that.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Instead, what you want to do is just share the message.
So instead of making it like I think or I know,
it's not about you, you can say i'm being shown,
I'm seeing this card is showing me right, you're taking
yourself out of it. It's not about what you do
or don't see or you being right. It's about you
(15:36):
sharing the message. So let's say you do your reading
and it's very clear that like it's time for your
client to take action, right, you can share and that's
what you're sensing. Share the message. Just say it's really
time for you to take action, isn't it. I can
see that quite clearly now, or I think we can
both see quite clearly. Don't overthink it, don't worry. Just
(15:56):
share the message, Share the intuitive insights you're getting, share
what you're drawn too on the card, and most importantly,
you know, share those insights that you're getting from doing
the reading for your client as well. Little bonus tip,
I'll give you like a part two bonus. Right, so
we've got the three main pieces and then the two bonuses.

Called this five skills anyway. Another bonus is don't ask
your client questions like was this helpful? You know, did
that feel accurate? That's actually not fair on your client
because it's sort of putting pressure on them to like
validate you as a reader and give you some kind
of like thumbs up. That is not appropriate. That's not
(16:34):
your client's job. It also can make them feel a
bit weird, like if you're asking me like that, why
am I coming to you for a reading? That's what
you do with your coach, your mentor your teacher.

Right.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
That's why I encourage everyone to be studying and learning
in a formal setting, because that's where you develop that
kind of feedback. It's not with your clients and customers
and people that you're teaching and doing reading as well. Instead,
what you can say is, I'd love to know your
biggest takeaway from this reading, what resonates most with you
(17:05):
from this reading? What's an action you can take from
what we've covered in this reading. Again, it completely takes
it from being like a sort of disempowering question into
a value based question. Right, They're going to naturally look
for what was helpful, and of course also it's going
to make them feel excited. You can also if you
(17:25):
want to share maybe a few final thoughts and you
can you know, let's say they tell you it was
really helpful for me when we looked at taking action.

Right.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Then that's when you can say absolutely, you know, I
noticed when we were doing the reading that you kept getting.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Lots of wands. Ones are of course the.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Suit of action, so I would definitely agree with you there, right.
You want to empower them and of course encourage them
as well. I could keep going and getting so many
more ideas about more bonuses to add to this session,
but I'm going to complete here just to say I
hope this was helpful for you and of course inspiring
and empowering as well.

to your client, not at all. What it means is
you're using your intuition to read the cards. You're using
your intuition to tell a story with the cards. You're
also using your intuition to sort of choose, for example,
which piece of the card to go into to read
(06:31):
and of course share now that we'll go onto that
in a little bit. But your intuition is the key, right,
It's the magic of the reading, you know. How A
lot of people will say like, the most powerful part
of therapy is the relationship with your therapist. I feel
that the most powerful part of a reading, you know,
is the gifts of the reader. Right, It's the intuitive
gifts and magic of the reader that's what really brings
(06:53):
the whole thing alive. So I want you to start
thinking about how you can start using your gifts more
in your readings. Think about what gifts you have, right,
getting clear on your gifts and your abilities, and then
start using them. Your intuition is like a muscle, right,
it only gets stronger when you use it. If you
don't use it, it will get weaker. Okay, I'm not going
(07:14):
to be like fluffy about it.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
It will just get weaker.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
So you have to start getting clear on what your
gifts are and then using them in the readings. And
you use them, of course to read the cards, but
you can also use them to share insights and guidance
that you're receiving. You know, I'm a very intuitive person obviously, right,
I'm very clairvoyant and clere sentient. I have other gifts
(07:37):
as well. But when I'm giving my readings to clients,
of course I'll read the cards, but I'll also tell
them things I'm seeing, sensing, feeling, sometimes hearing, also knowing,
and again that's the magic of the reading. Right now,
this leads beautifully into part two, which is going deeper
with the cards. Again, anybody can google bullet points on
(07:59):
a card or basic meanings that really is of no value, Okay,
going deeper with the cards. It's all about really understanding
the magic of a reading. Okay, Now I did a
I'm doing a video series on TikTok where I'm sharing
tips on how to give terror readings with confidence. Make
sure you go and check those out as well. Going
deeper with the cards is really the key. It's the
(08:23):
key from going from let's say good, doing a good
reading to giving a great reading. Learning how to go
deeper with the Tarot cards is the difference between being,
you know, a good reader who like people like going
to being an amazing reader who people deeply value and
connect with and respect. Okay, and when I say respect,
I mean you respecting yourself as well. But let me
(08:45):
give you some examples. So in front of me is
the Magician card. Now, the Magician card has a number
of beautiful meanings, which you can of course give in
a reading, right, But to really go deeper, you can
look at things like the symbols in the card. You
can look at what the person is wearing, what's in
the background of the card. You can look at the
(09:06):
body language of the person, what they're holding or what
they're doing with their hands, and what's in front of them. Now,
the reason this ties in so beautifully with the point
just now is your intuition is the key to which
part of that you bring out. Okay, So I'm not
suggesting for a moment that you read all of the
symbols on each card in every reading you're doing. That
(09:29):
would actually be just overwhelming and not very helpful. Instead,
what you do is you trust your intuition that you
will notice on that card what is most meant for
your client. So, for example, you could be reading for
one person and you might be drawn to the infinity
symbol above the magician's head, right. You might be drawn
to that and of course the message that it has
(09:50):
about tapping into infinite potential and possibilities. You might be
drawn to the arms, the arm pointing up representing as
above and the arm pointing down representing so below. And
you might ask your client about, you know, how you're
seeing yourself in this situation, and how is this playing
out for you?
Speaker 2 (10:09):
How can you.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Adjust, like your inner world right to sort of create
more of what.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
You want here?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
You might be drawn to, for example, the altar in
front of the magician and reminding your client of using
the tools that they have. Now again, I'm not suggesting
in one reading that you use all of those symbols,
but your intuition is going to be the key inside
the Confident Reader mastermind. I teach you about the symbols
and how to use them, and of course how to
connect to the ones that are most important for your
(10:35):
clients as well. And the key there is absolutely using
the power of your intuition. I also want you to
think about your intuition again as just being this beautiful
gift that you have, and it's like a muscle Okay,
you want to know how to train it and take
care of it, and a big part of that is,
of course using it as well. Going deeper with the
(10:56):
cards also allows you to really give your client a
powerful reading that will impact them. It'll give them magical messages,
and it will also help them to come away from
the reading feeling empowered. Okay, it's not about bullet point
meanings or I think this could mean, or you know
this could mean several things. That's not helpful, right, Going
(11:16):
deeper with the cards is about connecting to the energy
of the card, noticing what your intuition is noticing about
the card, and then connecting that to your client. Another
way you can, of course go deeper with the card
is telling stories with it.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Right.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
You can choose a few cards and then you can
look at the story that those cards are telling as
if each one of them is like a scene from
a movie. These are all techniques I teach inside the
confident reader master mind. So if you like this, just
dive in. You'll love it. But that's the second piece
for you. Okay, So so far we've got using your
intuition and gifts bringing those into the reading. Then we've
(11:50):
got going deeper with the cards using your intuition as well. Now,
the next piece is one of my favorites to teach,
and it's coaching your client to ask empowering questions. Okay,
coaching your client to ask empowering questions. My amazing students
from Confident Reader master Mind who are listening know exactly
what the example I'm going to use.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Let's say you have a client who asks you, will
my book be successful? A basic Tarror reader or an
average Tarror reader will read on that.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Okay, let's take a look, babe.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
I'm going to actually just challenge that and say in
the bin with that, that is not empowering, it's not helpful,
and it's actually your client giving their power away. What
I do in my readings and what I teach my
students to do, is coach the client to ask empowering questions.
So let's say your client says to you, will my
book be successful? You can say, great question. I understand
(12:47):
that your book being successful is obviously really important to you. Right,
let's take a look at what you most need to
know about how you can make your book successful. You
always want to give your client their power back. Will
I meet someone this year. Again, No, in the bend,
the question should always be putting them back in their power.
What do you most need to know about how to
(13:09):
meet someone you know that's right for you at this time?
What can you let go of to move forward with
meeting with someone? Meeting someone right? And then you can also,
of course use your gifts to sort of recommend things
they can do, steps they can take, what else you
might be picking up on. But always coach your client
yes or no questions. No, I do not recommend those
(13:30):
for a second. I think they are oversimplified and just
not helpful. Any question that's overly sort of predictive again, Nope.
What you want to be doing is really empowering your
client to get back into the magic of their life.
So instead of asking yes or no questions or you know,
predictive questions, coach your client to ask an empowering question.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Very very occasionally, you might.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Have someone who doesn't want to do that, and that
can give you a lot of insight into where they're
at with their mindsets. So let's say someone doesn't want
you to say, what can you do that can show
you that that person actually doesn't really want to be
in their power. You can of course choose to then
read on what they ask or coach a little bit
on it. But my point is you want to always
coach your clients to ask empowering questions and of course
(14:19):
to also be in their power. Bonus tip for you here,
and this is something I'm really excited to share with you.
This is something I taught a few weeks ago inside
the Confident Reading Mastermind and it's JSTMB. Just share the message, babe.
Stop overthinking it and just share the message. When you're
giving your reading to your client, you're going to be
(14:40):
picking up stuff. You're going to be getting intuitive feelings.
You're going to be maybe seeing things, You're going to
be maybe sensing things. You're going to be noticing things
in the cards. I don't want you to overthink it. Okay,
this is one of the key skills. I mean, they're
all key skills, but this is really going to take
your intuitive work and your reading to the next level.
Or just share the message, babe. Don't worry about impressing
(15:03):
your client, worrying about getting it wrong, trying to impress
your client, you know, wanting them to like you, hoping
you don't say whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Don't do that.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Instead, what you want to do is just share the message.
So instead of making it like I think or I know,
it's not about you, you can say i'm being shown,
I'm seeing this card is showing me right, you're taking
yourself out of it. It's not about what you do
or don't see or you being right. It's about you
(15:36):
sharing the message. So let's say you do your reading
and it's very clear that like it's time for your
client to take action, right, you can share and that's
what you're sensing. Share the message. Just say it's really
time for you to take action, isn't it. I can
see that quite clearly now, or I think we can
both see quite clearly. Don't overthink it, don't worry. Just
(15:56):
share the message, Share the intuitive insights you're getting, share
what you're drawn too on the card, and most importantly,
you know, share those insights that you're getting from doing
the reading for your client as well. Little bonus tip,
I'll give you like a part two bonus. Right, so
we've got the three main pieces and then the two bonuses.

I should have.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Called this five skills anyway. Another bonus is don't ask
your client questions like was this helpful? You know, did
that feel accurate? That's actually not fair on your client
because it's sort of putting pressure on them to like
validate you as a reader and give you some kind
of like thumbs up. That is not appropriate. That's not
(16:34):
your client's job. It also can make them feel a
bit weird, like if you're asking me like that, why
am I coming to you for a reading? That's what
you do with your coach, your mentor your teacher.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Right.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
That's why I encourage everyone to be studying and learning
in a formal setting, because that's where you develop that
kind of feedback. It's not with your clients and customers
and people that you're teaching and doing reading as well. Instead,
what you can say is, I'd love to know your
biggest takeaway from this reading, what resonates most with you
(17:05):
from this reading? What's an action you can take from
what we've covered in this reading. Again, it completely takes
it from being like a sort of disempowering question into
a value based question. Right, They're going to naturally look
for what was helpful, and of course also it's going
to make them feel excited. You can also if you
(17:25):
want to share maybe a few final thoughts and you
can you know, let's say they tell you it was
really helpful for me when we looked at taking action.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Right.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Then that's when you can say absolutely, you know, I
noticed when we were doing the reading that you kept getting.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Lots of wands. Ones are of course the.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Suit of action, so I would definitely agree with you there, right.
You want to empower them and of course encourage them
as well. I could keep going and getting so many
more ideas about more bonuses to add to this session,
but I'm going to complete here just to say I
hope this was helpful for you and of course inspiring
and empowering as well.

intuition is a muscle. The stronger the more you use it,
