Questo episodio di Glitch smonta la retorica della sorveglianza di massa, partendo dalla tua sveglia intelligente fino ai checkpoint di Hebron. Non è solo il "Grande Fratello" di Orwell, ma un "Mondo Nuovo" di Aldous Huxley, dove acconsentiamo volontariamente a essere profilati per l'ultimo servizio in streaming.
Analizziamo come le tragedie, dall'11 settembre agli attentati di Parigi, abbiano generato leggi che espandono il controllo (come lo "Snooper Charter" nel Regno Unito ), in un continuo "scope creep" che arriva al decoro urbano. Infine, esploriamo come gli algoritmi amplifichino i pregiudizi e quale sia la nostra linea di difesa: dalle sentenze rivoluzionarie della CEDU alla necessità di diventare cittadini digitali consapevoli e tecnicamente preparati. Il modello del "tutti sorvegliati" ha fallito: è ora di pretendere anonimato e decentralizzazione.
