Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you rent that? Young Nah? No, I own it.
That's how I feel about this weekend. Darren Yeah, pay him,
paid that me and his money joy it while last
gambling gods fickle bunch. Oh yeah, so easily offend. Welcome
into the Make It Ready Podcast. I'm your host, Sean Rady,

(00:21):
sponsored by sports Bet Montana, recording this Friday at about
two o'clock. And it was a very good Week one
pod for us, going thirty four and twenty overall and
breaking it down. And I said last week I really
like player props early on in the season, and that

(00:41):
is where we made. Hey went twenty four and ten
in player pops given out last week, eight and nine
on our sides, two and one on our totals, and
we hit seven of our ten teaser legs. So we'll
kind of do the same thing this week. I will
go through each game. I will give my side if
I have any total and if I have any teaser
slash like money line parlays or anything like that to

(01:04):
give out. Let's start with cats and the gris Montana
State does not cover against Maine, so they are one
and two ats. They actually the one that they covered
was by half a point against Utah Tech. They didn't
close the closing line. So if you go by closing
line there, oh and three against spread, two and one

(01:26):
to the over Grizz, oh and two against the spread
with their loss to North Dakota up four and a
half point favorites, and you lose outright bloonus seventeen point
halftime lead. That was brutal, and two and oh to
the under. I think that Montana is gonna get back
on track. Let me bring up the the updated numbers

(01:47):
here taking on Morehead State, and this is a very
much get right game for Montana. I don't really like
betting these super large spreads when it's anything in the
four touchdown range. I just kind of like to pass,
just because very much like Montana State's game. I mean,

(02:12):
they were just absolutely dominating that game, and then you
just kind of take the pedal off and main scores
late and ends up covering. But the gris thirty two
and a half point favorites over under fifty two and
a half probably would take Morehead State and thirty two points.
I could see the Grizz getting up and then just
kind of putting the foot on the gas kind of

(02:32):
like they did with like Montana State did last week.
So that's where we're gonna go. But man, there's just
really not much there. So okay, let's dive into it.
And man, so disappointed that none of the rain makers hit.
We're hitting two out of three or three out of
four every single time. And then they had the same
gamer yesterday and you know, we obviously help hope that

(02:53):
two is okay, but him going out, man, that was
that was a bummer because we hit Jared Cook, we
hit Shakiir. We had the Bills and the Dolphins or
the Bills over and the Bills to cover the eight
and a half and we were all we needed was
two and to throw for another one hundred yards in
a quarter and a half in garbage time and water
on to get twenty yards and we would have hit

(03:14):
a really fun same game parlay. But such as life.
We do have two more rain makers submitted for this weekend.
I'll go over those at the end of the pod.
All right, let's just dive into it. Browns taken on
the Jags. The Browns three and a half point underdogs
on sports Bet, but it's minus one thirty so and
minus two and a half is minus one thirty. So

(03:35):
if you like the Jags, just go in there and
click minus two and a half and pay that. If
you like the Browns, then obviously take the three and
a half in the hook. But I'm gonna go Jags
minus two and a half year kind of just like
a strong lean. I just think that they're better. I
am gonna take this is really ugly Deshaun Watson over
two hundred twelve passing yards. I just the Jags. The

(03:57):
way that you could beat him is through the air,
and that numbers really low. And we're going to Mark
Cooper to get sixty two receiving yards. So those are
the two bets for that one. Uh New Orleans Saints
plus five and a half on the road taking on
the Dallas Cowboys over under forty six and a half.
If I don't really mention the total, then that means
I just don't have a bet on the total. Gonna
go Cowboys minus five and a half. Here at home.

(04:19):
I think Derek Carr is a lot worse with pressure,
and I think Dallas will be able to get pressure.
That said, I do think they're gonna be down, and
so I'm gonna take Derek Carr over two hundred and
eighteen passing yards and Rashid Shihed kind of his he
likes don't want to She heat almost more than Chris
a Lave thirty seven and a half yards. I mean,
he's the deep threat specialist. He's just got to get

(04:40):
one of these. So I'm gonna go. She heat over
thirty seven and a half yards the Colts minus two
and a half on the road taking on the Green
Bay Packers. We're going Colts minus two and a half.
And this is a play I have already bet this,
and this is one of the rain maker legs in
one of the parlays. I just Malik Willis. Man if
I'm getting. If I can bet a decent team and
the Colts DC it under a field goal against Malik Willis,

(05:02):
I just got to do it. And I know that
there's been a little bit of speculation like that Jordan
Love might play. I just don't think it's gonna happen.
And they give me Anthony Richardson over two hundred and
thirty nine and a half combined rushing and passing yards.
With these running quarterbacks, I kind of like just taking
the combined yardage because if they if they, you know,

(05:26):
run for sixty or whatever, then I don't have to
worry about it in the air. So we're taking the
Colts and then uh oh, here's a fun sports bet
notification just now last Sunday a better one fourteen grand
on a forty dollars eight leg NFL anytime touchdown parlay. Wow,
that's pretty cool. All right, Las Vegas Raiders on the road.

(05:50):
Take it on the Baltimore Ravens eight and a half
point underdogs over under forty one and a half. I'd
like a lot of favorites this week. I'm I'm gonna
if I had over for forced picking every every week.
This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna pick every
single time. Aside, I'm going Raiders eight and a half.
This is ugly. This is very ugly. I just think

(06:12):
nobody I saw some of those, like ninety percent of
the money is on the Ravens, yet this has gone
from nine and a half to eight and a half.
So I just think the Raiders are gonna make this ugly.
And there the strength of the Raiders is their D line,
and the O line for the Ravens look really bad,
and I just don't think that in this game. I
don't think Lamar is gonna take all the hits that

(06:34):
he did to Kansas City. He was running all over
the place because they really wanted to beat Kansas City.
I think he's gonna be more conservative in this one.
Give me Brock Bowers over thirty four and a half
receiving yards. I just think the Ravens will be down
and Bowers got a lot of work, and I think
Andrews has a little bounce back and meet Andrews over
thirty nine and a half receiving yards and under forty
one and a half. Niners on the Road taken on
the Minnesota Vikings. Give me the Niners minus four and

(06:55):
a half. I know a lot of people are gonna
point to the Vikings beat the forty nine Ers at
home last year, but Brock Purty took a couple shots
in that one. I just think the Niners are gonna
get it done, and not a lot of I want to.
I like Deebo Samuel in this game, but not a
lot of the props are up yet because of the
CMC questionable news. New York Giants on the Road taking

(07:18):
on the Washington Commanders. Giants plus one and a half
over under forty three and a half. We're going with
the Giants plus one and a half and the over
forty three and a half. We're also gonna make the
Giants push them up to seven and a half and
that's gonna be one of the teaser legs. And I
should have also mentioned Baltimore while we're taking the Raiders.
We're gonna move Baltimore down to minus two and a
half and have that be one of the teaser legs

(07:40):
as well. I like a lot of props in this one.
I think both defenses suck. That's why I like the
over forty three and a half and we're going Daniel
Jones over two and a half passing yards. I think
there's a get right game against a really bad defense,
and we're gonna go Wandale Robinson over thirty seven and
a half receiving yards and Malik Nighbors over sixty four
receiving yards. I think those are his two go two guys.

(08:03):
I like James Daniels over one hundred and ninety two
and a half passing yards. Their coach said they really
don't want him run. He ran at sixteen times last
week and he said he really wants them to stay
in the pocket and throw the ball, and so I
don't think that's adjusted with the line. And then we're
going Brian Robinson over fifty five and a half rushing yards,
Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road taking on the Detroit
Lions Buccaneers seven and a half point dogs over under

(08:25):
fifty one and a half. We're gonna take the seven
points and the hook here. I think it's a good
matchup for Tampa Bay being able to throw the ball,
and I know that they have a lot of injuries
on defense. That's why I like the over fifty one
and a half. But we're going Baker over two hundred
and sixty and a half passing yards and Godwin over
sixty two and a half receiving yards as well as
Sean White under forty four and a half rushing yards

(08:47):
but over twenty five and a half receiving yards. The
reason I like this over the reason why I really
like this game, and I'm taking Jameson Williams over forty
five and a half receiving yards as well combined, and
I really like this game is because both of these
teams have good run defenses and bad pass defenses, and
that's what both these teams will like to do. So

(09:08):
I think there's gonna be a lot of points. Then
there's a good prop game. New England Patriots at home
taking on the Seattle Seahawks three and a half point
underdogs at home. So we're just gonna take New England
plus three and a half. Don't have much to say
about it. Same with the next game, Tenessey Titans three
and a half point underdogs taking on the Jets over
under forty and a half. We're going to over forty

(09:30):
and a half and we're gonna take the Titans plus
three and a half. No strong feel. Just if I
had to do a force pick, I'm giving a Fource pick.
Los Angeles Chargers minus four and a half on the
road taking on the Panthers. Man, I just this is
what everyone is gonna be doing, just taking the Chargers
minus four and a half or putting them in a
money line parlay. And I just don't see Bryce Young

(09:50):
beating Justin Herbert. I know that there's a lot more
to it, but man, Harbaugh, I just just changed the
culture there, and I kind of like that. And then
I know that there's a lot of rushing props in
this one, but the numbers are pretty high for the Chargers.
I do like Quentin Johnson over thirty four receiving yards.
They're this coaching staff utilizing him a little bit better,

(10:11):
and Joshua Palmer is questionable to play and he's banged up,
so I think QJ will be getting the ball for
a couple times that they do throw it. Rams taking
on the Cardinals. Rams one and a half point underdogs
on the road. Give me the Cardinals minus one and
a half. I don't really love this one a ton.
We're gonna try and middle this. That's why I'm gonna
take the Rams, move them up to seven and a half,

(10:35):
and I like, I really like this is one of
my This might be my favorite prop of the week.
Kobe Parkinson over thirty and a half receiving yards the
tight end for the Rams. We hit. I took his
prop last week. Hit it, and then we're going DeMarcus
Robinson over forty two and a half receiving yards with
Pooka out. I just think that defense is really bad

(10:55):
and they're gonna be able to throw the ball. I
also wouldn't mind sprinkling a little like both of these
guys to get like one hundred yards, it's like almost
like forty to one, so worth a little sprinkle in
my opinion, and we're going Greg Dortsch over thirty one
receiving yards just seems to have a rapport with Kyler Murray.
But we're gonna move the Rams up to seven and
a half. So we have the Giants up to seven

(11:17):
and a half, mark it down, Baltimore down to minus
two and a half, and the Rams up to seven
and a half. Steelers on the road take it on
the Broncos, and we're gonna move Denver there two and
a half point underdogs at home, we're gonna move them
up to eight and a half and the six point teaser.
But I'm gonna take the Steelers minus two and a

(11:37):
half for a fourth pick, just because I have to
make a pick. Cincinnati Bengals on the road taking on
the Kinsey Chiefs. This might be my favorite bet. I'm
taking the Chiefs minus five and a half. I'm moving
to all those minus twelve and a half is plus
two twenty. I'm gonna take that as well. I think
the Chief's gonna blow them out of the water. Isaiah
pa Checko over sixty seven and a half rushing yards,
Isaiah to Checko over eighty five and a half combined

(11:57):
rushing and receiving yards like that too, probably the rushing
one a little bit more. And then I kind of
like this one. So Xavier Worthy and Rashi Rice, their
receiving prop is forty five yards and sixty seven yards,
but they're combined rushing and receiving props are just one
yard more. For the rush we saw Worthy an Rice
more so Worthy like he's gonna get some carries, So like,

(12:19):
why wouldn't you just take the combined because if they
get an end around for fifteen twenty, I mean, Worthy
got like a twenty thirty yarder in the first game,
so I think it's kind of cheating the system a
little bit with the combined. So I'm just gonna bet
both of those, and I think one, if not both,
will hit, and then I'll dive more into Bears, Texans
and Falcons Eagles. I'm gonna just take the favorites in

(12:40):
both of those, but we're gonna put those as teaser
legs and just move those downs to down the pick them.
So we're going to Houston money line and Philly money line,
and then we're gonna go Chargers. We'll just put Chargers
money line. So we have seven little teaser legs and
we're gonna just pair all of those together. Follow me

(13:02):
on social media because I will be breaking down Bears, Texans,
Falcons Eagles is kind of standalones in the rain Makers
that I submitted, So normally they are always three leg parlays, right,
but because I like, let me bring it up here,

(13:22):
because I like both the Texans and the Eagles at home,
I just threw in their money line is like the
last leg since it's a standalone games, because then if
the first three hit, we have the money line to
like juice it up a little bit, which I don't
see the Bears are Falcons winning, but if you hit
the first three, you can always try and middle it

(13:43):
and take the Bears plus six and a half for
the Falcons plus six and a half. I could also
see those getting over a touchdown by the start of
game time. Anyways, So rain Maker number one Colts minus
two and a half, Kansas City minus five and a half,
but check out over sixty seven and a half rushing
yards and Texans money line number two kind of the
player prop one Parkinson over thirty and a half receiving yards,
were Shot White over twenty five and a half receiving yards,

(14:04):
Daniel Jones over two undernight passing yards and Eagles money line.
So good luck. Let's hope to hit one of these rainmakers. Man,
we've been one shot each time. All right, that's gonna
do it. Have a great weekend, all assass
