Me the Fuzzy One, the Sexy two toes love love
Me Too, Time, Love Me Too, Time, the furry lover
uh Fury Delicious Bogie has decided to step down from

(02:18):
bass and defy the tyrants I have.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Yes, I have made the decision after careful you know,
after thinking for a while. I've decided that careful deliberation,
careful deliberation. I've decided that just music right now is
not in It's not a priority for me. Not And
in saying that, it's I still love the guys, I

(02:41):
still love everyone, and defy. I have nothing but respect
for these guys. But it's just my time for me
to do something else. Essentially, is where I'm at.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
In my time is Nie.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
It is Nie, my friend, all right?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Well, and not just that, but yeah, you're you. You're
for your retiring for music.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
For the foreseeable future. Yes, I will not be playing music.
There are some other things in my life that I
do wish to pursue, which I mean you've known, you
got you guys, have you know? If you've heard our episodes,
you do know I am a big I am a
big person on gaming so I'm I'm looking into matters

(03:24):
of probably getting into the gaming industry among some other
things in my life that I do enjoy that I
that I would like either to make a career or
do like make it like a full time hobby kind
of thing. So it's just, you know, that's another aspect
of where I'm possibly will be going. You know, nothing's

(03:46):
too sure. But as for music itself, for right now,
it is something I am not going to be doing.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
You're like, I'm done.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I'm fucking done, you know.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
You know, if you know Adela dying just going to
ship right now, you know, I think it was it
was a perfect time to just you know, put it
out there.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Next week, be like I I now spotted leaving to
find the tyrants. Tony's gonna be the last one left.
What the fuck did I do?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
But uh but yeah, no, it's.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
It's just it's been a process, like I mean going
you know, just let's say just start starting back at
you know, at the beginning, you know, when we started
to fight, me and Tony had just done did uh
thirty thirty, which was also at least it was was
like an eight year project.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
That's the time.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah, by the time we ended it, we were we
had just had eight years.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, so it was like, I think it might be.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
The magic number for you. That's the cut off point.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Done.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Well no, but yeah, so starting from there, you know,
me and Tony wanted you know, still play music, but
we want to do heavier music. So we that's when
we hit up Brandon or you saw you hit a
Brandon because you saw he had to come back from.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah, Vegas, Vegas, so so so so we'll get to that.
But I just want to speak on behalf of myself
and the guys.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Uh just play, play this song and tribute to our
our our friend who's decided to leave, uh leave the band.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
This is a.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Really, this is my nig and has been missing. He
just he looks over at the sea that used to
sit out.

Speaker 7 (05:25):
It's my nig. Why people you miss my wig?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Brandon will be on the mixing work, So bashi, what
do you say?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Really miss my wig?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Really? Do you missa?

Speaker 7 (05:41):
Back to the song?

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I don't want to believe he's leaving.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
Was that at the hospital bed?

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I know, surprising, I sold everything.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I don't believe it.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Drums, bass, guitar, No.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Why do you have to go reached out to his ghost, slow.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Reach out to.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
They said, you do that here.

Speaker 7 (06:09):
I said, bitch, I don't care. She said, you don't care,
but this part's important. Help me look this nigga up
and put him in the dead nigga.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Stories said, joking.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
She said, I'm joking. Come on, that's so good.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Shoot you in the face. Call it a joke. She said.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
The best way the chair roup is to last.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
That's what I do the podcast, That's what it is.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I said, bitch, chip up.

Speaker 7 (06:33):
After this, this is bloody.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Want the whole world.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I want the whole world to know.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
What it's like to lose a nigga. I lost my
nigga to a herd. I lost my nigga to Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
This is the breakdown.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Really, it's my niggas.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
This is where we get buys you a hug. Guess
we walk away?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Just a breakdown.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Everyone just putting their hands on his shoulder. Got hurt you.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
I feel like I'm in a fucking This song is
about berg.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
I'm not responsible for this money. Let's think it together.

Speaker 7 (07:23):
A black person next to you the look real pisce.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
You better stop. Yeah, miss spongy.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Ye, wait for it, Wait for it's going up money.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
It's funny.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
The clapping.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
But that was a good one.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
That was a good one.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
So so yeah, so I just want to I want
to talk a little bit about it because I, like
I said, like, it's been a long time. So you've
been playing music at this point, twenty twenty years at
this point, I think, yeah, twenty.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Yeah, yeah, because that was about fourteen when I started
playing me. Oh no, that was about thirteen when I
started started music, playing music in general.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, it's like thirteen.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
I taught you how to play a bass. I'm the one.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
I'm the Oh yeah, I just played guitar, playing guitar,
and I was just like, yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
You just need to play the one note. That's all
you gotta do. Not Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
So so so to go back, you know, I know
we talked about this Mills on the podcast, but I
just played in every band, almost every band I've been
And I want to say, like, there's only two bands
that ever played in that he wasn't in, you know,
everything from Eating Loss in high school to thirty thirty
to yeah, Defy the Tyrants Yah, And he's filled in

(08:53):
from Aldbam Burdon's rise and did some stuff with a
side project called Bill Butterfly. So he's been a part
of like a lot of like myjas and it's always
been like my go to guy. When we started Defy,
you know, like I think the way our story goes
like I I had reached out to Brandon, Brannan got
back from Vegas and uh, we made up to jam
and we're like, oh, well, there's definitely some chemistry here, Like,

(09:15):
there's definitely because Brannan didn't like me very much and
I like Brandon very much. But I was like, I
was like, well, I know, I know you played drums
and you know, you know me, I'm goofy as fuck.
And so I found there's some chemistry there. And then
I think after a couple of jam sessions, we were like, yeah,
maybe we could try this in like a like a
Saturday afternoon thing. Everybody get together, let's jam some Metallica,
maybe write a couple of songs and have some beer and.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Just talking about the good old days.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
And I was like, well, okay, well in that case,
and we had at Baji and Boji He's like, yeah,
come out, and that's how you know, Boji started. Baji
was the first one to join after me and Brandon
kind of uh started the Bitch And you know, it's
been a it's been a long road. It has doesn't
feel like it too much, but twenty years is a
long time.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
It is. It is a long time, man.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
It's you know, it's like I said, it's just I've
been doing this for so long.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
It's just.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
I feel like I need to do I feel like,
like you know, like when I talk to you guys,
like I feel like I need to do something else
because it just it wasn't the passion wasn't there anymore,
you know, speaking going a little bit into my why
I left for me, the passion just for myself was
not there anymore. It just it felt like a chore

(10:32):
then more than more than you know, just wanting to
play music with the guys, which, don't get.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Me wrong, like.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
If ever jam session or whatever pops up and they're like,
hey one jam like sure whatever, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
But it's like.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Trying to take it as like a full time hobby.
I guess you could say, is where I'm just like
at the point I need to want to I want
to do something else. So it's like like I've said before,
like I have nothing but love and respect for every
everybody in DeFi, Tony Brandon, Alex he Is, Zach as well,
like and you know, all the people that I've met

(11:08):
through DeFi. You know, I still have love for all
those people. So it's like, I'm not abandoning the band,
but I'm just I'm I'm just stepping.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Away for a while.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Yeah, that's all.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
You'll still You'll still see me a show and other stuff.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
I'll still send each other silly jee.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Silly and all that ship.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Yeah, So it's just it's just, you know, for the
I guess the music chapter of my life is just
for the time being, it's going to be on a hiatus.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Okay, So thoughts right his quitting the band, no, but
like yeah, just like thoughts on what.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
He says and his decision follow up playing is right
now unforgivable, unforgivable. Yeah, man, it's uh. As as I've
known you and Tony, you guys have always been like
just a fucking unit involved in some sort of like project.

(12:09):
Uh it is. I can't I don't know who I
fucking met first because like you guys always been in
the same you met me first, full yes, but yeah, yeah,
but old Baji was always there, you know what I mean.
So it's like it's a it's crazy crazy.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I'm just getting thrown the random memories of like when
you're you're your guy in his freshman year and I'm
just like he's like I remember when Badi were there.

Speaker 6 (12:36):
I was in eighth grade grade he's the wrong school.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
Like pictures of like I was like, no, he was there,
just like like fucking back to future ship.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
It's like he's right there and just see me fading.
I was never there, never there, buddy.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
I don't know, I don't know what you're talking about,
but yeah, I mean it's it's it's it's because I
was saying, like it's crazy, but like it's not crazy
that you're like leaving and pursuing your own thing, because
like I I think that's totally like respectful and and

(13:11):
we want nothing but like the best for you always have,
you know. So you know, although it may be hard
right too to not work with like your fucking best friends, right,
but you know we're still we're still here. You know,
the podcast all that, this is all running normal, but

(13:34):
band wise, yeah, man, we're happy to see you and
go try other ship you know, so it's it's been
a wild fucking ride, man, it's a wild ride to
like finally be in a band with you for like
this long and uh and you know you just got
to let them go so they can flourish and and
spread their wings and god damn it. Follow the American dream.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Mother happened anytime soon, buddy, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
The next four years, for sure.

Speaker 8 (14:04):
The Paestinian dream a.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Dream.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
Okay, but yeah, I'll love I'll love love.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
He'll allow it, he'll out.

Speaker 6 (14:16):
It's forgivable.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
You gotta put your hand out, like Caesar from Plant
of the Apes so that he can get permission.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Just put your hand out.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
That's all I needed.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Was not what I was talking about.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
You guys on camera, Okay, good, but.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
All right, all out.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Rudy thoughts on Boji exiting to the turns.

Speaker 9 (14:39):
I don't I still don't believe it. I don't want
to believe it, but.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I mean I understand it happens.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Like I said, I already sold the bass, the drums,
I sold it all.

Speaker 8 (14:50):
I'm done with this, sold the band.

Speaker 9 (14:53):
But when I first heard it, I was like no, wait, dude,
Like why no? But I mean you have your own
interesting you know, people change.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah I don't. I don't.

Speaker 9 (15:03):
You know, we're all humans, you know, since we get
tired of doing certain things, so it happens, you know,
Like I said it, just I still have nothing but love, yeah,
I know. And I'm still gonna see all the time.
So yeah, but it's definitely like damn, she's not gonna
be up there no more with you.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
Yeah, he's gonna be like Goku and we're all gonna
be like Gohan and we're just gonna be throwing all
our mites and body is gonna be.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Like do it now now, now, Tony.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Now, he's gonna be like the new Master Splinter.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Just fuck.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
My sons, my sons, like the dad from fALS West
five five with my sons.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
All Right, Well, I'm okay, so I'm gonna just drop my.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Thoughts bro fuck.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
No uh yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
So so so I'm gonna let our listeners in just
a little bit into some of the behind the scenes
stuff because here and like when we podcast, not to
get too crazy with it. When we podcast, we have
a good time. Like there's definitely like a great energy
and a great chemistry and we're always laughing and having
a good time.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
But I think that.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Like maybe like earlier in the year, maybe it was
like sometime last year, we started to notice like yeah,
during the podcast, like you're really enjoying yourself, just like
rubbing your fucking belly button in front of.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Her and my belly button bros. Yeah, okay, brou.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
But then we'd be at bad practice and there would
be a different vibe.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
There was a different like attitude.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
And I think at first we talked up to you're
probably you had a bad day, to you were having
a bad week too, you're going through a depression, to
we gotta get this depression, man. And then just you know,
as time when I it became very apparent to us
like okay, something something's wrong here there.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
They're definitely something wrong.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
So and I think we all kind of like this
was not something that like surprised us, Like we weren't
really surprised by it or taken back by I think
we all kind of knew like, okay, it's it's just
about to step down. We were just we wanted you
to kind of speak your peace and and make your decision,
you know, and it's it's much appreciated. I know, like

(17:18):
like as far as like you and me go. We
had a tough almost two years. Like like I think
like it's been challenging, you know, with with some personal stuff,
and I just want to say, like, I have a
lot of love for you. I love you. You've definitely one
of my brothers, and you've been for a very long
time one of my closest and longest friends. And I
trust you with my life, you know, despite personal bullshit,

(17:40):
Like I still I still trust you. I still know
that if ever I'm in trouble, You're one of the
first people I call, ifever I need help with anything.
You've always been You've always been one of the first
people to call. So I love you, and I'm I
appreciate our time playing music together. I appreciate all the memories.
I appreciate you always having my back and supporting me.
I'll never forget the day that in our old band,
the catalyst to that band ending, you know, person person

(18:04):
quit the band in a very kind of aggressive way
and made me feel like ship Like I didn't really
know what to do, and a person had said some
not very nice things and walked out, and I literally
turned around and you like threw yourself up and just
like fucking gave me like the biggest hug and without
even saying anything, And I still feel that that still
means a lot to me. There's a reason why you

(18:24):
were one of the mi grousben for my wedding, you know,
there's a reason why, you know, just for so many,
so many things. So I love you and I'm i'm
I am like they're like, I'm sad, like, Okay, You're
not gonna be there no more. But at the same time,
I'm I'm very happy for you and your new your
new journey and your path where you're going, and I'm

(18:45):
excited to see where you go.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
You know, it's it's just it's time.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
It is and we all love you like we all
love you and you know, your family to everybody still
gonna be here on the podcast.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
I was gonna let your ass go.

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Stuck with me.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
You're the goddamn tenth one of the role fucking jacking
off ten times a day.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Who he can't do that.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
I can't do that, Rudy for sure.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Fuck can't do that. I don't want to. He has
dogs to take care of. You can't.

Speaker 6 (19:13):
You don't have time though, that's true.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
They have their own and I'm lucky if I sprout
twice a week, so you know, there's not much.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
To work with.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
So uh, but you're still gonna be around. You're still
part of the big Little Dick's Bald group, gonna go
on vacations together, so do ship together.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
Still there will will continue.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I think basically just for our circle, like I know,
like to like some followers, like it is gonna look like, oh,
he's not like a part of the group anymore, he's
not there anymore. No, Like we're just not seeing you
a practice, but we're we see you everywhere fucking else,
So a going anywhere? Yeah, do you guys have any
questions for Bodie goes any anything you want to know
or bring anything to light.

Speaker 6 (19:58):
Boji as far as like just like your your your
bass playing? Are you still gonna be playing bass? Bro?
Are you just gonna go back to the you know,
I come on, I don't know where you came from.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Yeah. No, I've thought about that for a bit.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
It's I'm not.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
Gonna I'm not gonna get I'm I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna stop playing music per se. I'm still I
still have I have my fucking guitar and my podgo
should I stop my baby? I have both my basses,
I have my amp. I have a fucking cap that

(20:44):
I don't use. I just get ahead and boom. So
it's not like I'm quitting music per se, but I
am taking a step back from it as it being
like a kind of a front like a four of
what it for ffferent kind of aspects of my life
where it's like, you know, it's like you look at
me and you you're like, oh, he has a podcast

(21:07):
and he has a band. It's gonna be more like, yeah,
I just have a podcast. The music thing. I'm still
gonna play music. Still got the bass, Still got the bass.
Like I said, I got my guitar. Fucking want yeah,
bust out whenever I want. I still have recording equipment,
So it don't you know, I'm still gonna play music.
It's just I'm not gonna do it to that, to

(21:28):
to the extent of you know, forming a comment commitment
and all that stuff. Yeah, but I'll still play music.
I'm not gonna it's music is always gonna be part
of me. It's not it's something that's never not gonna
be a part of my life.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
You can't escape.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Are you still gonna do the like Shredford Dimes and
the Tribute Show?

Speaker 5 (21:46):
Yeah, you know Steer whoever you know puts on a
show or if you know they're doing, you know, shows
like that. Yeah, No, I'll still do them. I'll still
do them. Fucking I have fun doing them.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
You know.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
It's just you know, I said's just it's it's the
aspect of being in a band that I'm stepping away from,
rather than the music to just just to clarify with
with the listeners of yours, it's just it's the aspect
of doing a band, with doing music in a band,
rather than just me myself playing music. Yeah, I'm still

(22:19):
unders Yeah. Yeah, Like I said, I still have all
my equipment. I'm not gonna sell it.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
That ship.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
That ship, you know how long it took me.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
To get to get it, to acquire it, and then
and then leave.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
You just got it exactly.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
It's like just buying a house and then dying. You're like, up,
I got that, I just paid it off. I got
the dead Rudio.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
I want to ask anything or you want to draw
some thoughts when you're getting back on the albumw.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Dude, that's the question. The nitty gritty, the nitty gritty.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
You know, you got time, my time.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
My excuse is I got other games to play, but
I will be getting on Diablo.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I am. I am a gamers. Just it's kind of
like music with me.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Have we've talked about, like in our previous episodes, where
it's like we you know, we we listen to one band,
We're like, oh my god, this is our fucking favorite band.
Then you know, or we like this fucking band and
then it's like, well, other games caught my interest. And
it's like that with me, like in pre in like
most of my at least in that in the aspect
of gaming, it's like that with me. It's like I

(23:29):
can't like like when Diabolo four came or when it
came out, I was like fuck yeah. But then you know,
after a while it's like I found other another game.
I'm like, oh, this is yeah. So it's like I'll
get back I'll get back on. It's just changed, man,
it's so much better now.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
When I join in, I expect if if you.

Speaker 8 (23:48):
Join in, I will, I will.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
And this was the booker said too. He was gonna
play at one point he never did duty. I fucked up.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
If you I got call duty too, I will drop
everything and I will go.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Hear that?

Speaker 6 (24:03):
Did you hear that? That we have confirmation?

Speaker 3 (24:05):
We can have something here you know called it? I'm
not doing.

Speaker 6 (24:12):
Something?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
All right?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Well, anyways, sorry, back to the conversation.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
So, what's like your favorite DeFi show?

Speaker 1 (24:17):
My favorite DeFi show?

Speaker 8 (24:20):
What's the one the one when we opened up for
a soul Fly Actually there were so many, there was
soul Fly there was.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
That was Zach's. I think that was Zach's debut show
was a soul Fly show. I think so it was.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
It was like the soul Fly Show and then the
the controversial O Tepe show. Like to me, like some
of my favorite shows have been like being the openers,
even though we don't we don't really like that opening slot.
Some of my favorite ones were definitely the ones where
we opened for like some of the touring acts for sure.

(24:56):
But uh, but yeah, I think that would be my
favorite one of all those. I think it would be
that one, all right?

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (25:04):
And what is your favorite Defy The well two questions,
what's your favorite Defy the Terran song?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
And then what's your favorite song? You've ever been a part.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Of My favorite one so far exactly one of the
new ones, the Light fucking I don't know, I don't know,
I just I love that song. The Light has been
like one of my favorite favorite ones.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
To listen to.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeah, just that fucking that intro just fucking started hardy.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
Yeah, hell yeah, bro fucked up, But yeah, it was.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
That was definitely my favorite one. Might have been has
been my favorite song so far. One of my favorite
songs to work on was I Believe from the first DP,
the first tan.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah, the very the very first fucking defy the.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
Twenty twenty seventeeneen.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
I believe.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Got I got it right here.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
There we go.

Speaker 6 (26:05):
Oh, like guillotine.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
It's a close guillotine. I think it was. It was.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
It was a frust The crown right was just a single.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Oh I'm sorry, no, the first rest of crown.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
It was Oceans.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Oceans.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Oceans was by far I think one of my favorite ones.
Oh that was a part of.

Speaker 10 (26:36):
Jeff Little Gentz because I remember that when Rising, I
was like the.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Ship there was a cloud kicking school.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Yeah, this is when I started like playing genty ship.
It was like a.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
Yeah, this is definitely one of my favorite favorite songs
to work on.

Speaker 10 (27:15):
That's just.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Just so good, so fucking good.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Yeah, like, and that's and I guess that that would
be my favorite, my favorite, Defira, I guess I would.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Say that's Several people would dispute that.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Yeah, yeah, well yeah, I would guess, say lineup. I
would guess say line up because I mean, I love
Zach's voice. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But
we all know I'm a sucker for Randy Blife. And
at the time, you know, mad Ox.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
We were we were definitely going or I mean, in
the early stages, we were just definitely finding our sound.
But yeah, we were definitely a neces certain.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
We got compared to Lots of Love of God. Yeah,
that was a big comparison, and it's a different era.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
Well and to me, you know that God is my
favorite band. So it's like I guess, like, you know,
members wise, I guess that would be my favorite, just
because I I love those vocals, like live, like on
the recordings, you don't, I don't know for me, they didn't.
They said they didn't sound as as good as they

(28:35):
did live, But that's just sp you know, recording ship. Yeah,
but no, Yeah, then it's just there is I like them,
Like when we played.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
The Frog, that was a lot of fun.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
That was a lot of fun because it's it was
it was the rest in piece of Frog because it
was it's a very close, small venue. So it's like,
even if you have like twelve people there, it still
looks fucking pack.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Yeah, and it.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Just it's in our hometown and.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
Yeah, just it felt it felt more like what's the
word intimate there you go, just felt more intimate. So
it's like that era or that that era of like
members held like a lot of good like a lot
of fond memories.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
A lot of it's definitely like humble beginnings. Man, it's
like we were just starting out getting a fucking foot
in the door, and uh yeah, you were there for that.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
There for the ride, good times, the bad times. There's
a lot of bad times that we we don't bring up.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
On the podcast and over a lot of that.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Yea when when Bashi says his era was was that
era specifically and only talking about.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
Music, Yes, everything that happened at the end of that
era is like not you know, obviously despicable. It's despicable.
But it's like prior to that, all the fun stuff
was great.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Yeah, yeah, it's fun.

Speaker 8 (30:03):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
So uh any you guys want to ask him anything
as far as like any of the conversation goes or
to fire or.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
I mean, fuck, dude, when the fun you're gonna be
releasing that fucking uhl stream that twitch stream a twitch streamer,
you know, and then you know, event later though, you
can come up with a little solo album. Yeah. Hey, guys,
By the way.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
I've I've.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Rug No, it's like I've thought about, you know, recording
my own ship as well. Like, like I said, a
lot of stuff has been a lot of stuff that
has been like ideas I've been flowing through my head
about stuff I want to do and stuff that's and
like you know, it's stuff I would like to do.

(30:52):
But I'll get to that at some point.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
It's still time.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
There's still time, there's still stuff to do. So you know,
it's it's cool.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
You know, who knows will I be Like I said,
it's an it's a hiatus from band from band, So
who knows, maybe in a couple of years or a
decade or so, I might join another band or do
more or do music again like that, but uh, you know,
it's a it's a ride. We're gonna see where it goes.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
So, starting from here on out, whenever we do our
any plugs, it is no longer our bandefit the Tyrants,
It is mine and Handro's band.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
Yeah, because now how the podcast is in the band.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
It just goes one by one.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
All right, Well, if that's it, do we have anything
else on the table we want to talk about in
regards to this?

Speaker 3 (31:45):
We won't bring them anything, is it.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
I mean, we're fucking sad to see you go, but
we're also happy to see you go because the reasons
that you have stated, so, I mean, I can't get
better than that, you know, as far as like the outcome,
you know, especially when in the light of hearing all
this ship of like as Ley dying and and and
how these other bands and people crumble.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
And just because everybody's came as the dying, I was like,
that's it, that's my final struck.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
At least the chats, release the chests, the chats. But yeah, man,
this is Uh, We're definitely fucking happy and we have
nothing but love. You know, obviously that will continue and
you know you will be able to see that on
the on the podcast.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
Still, so yeah, you know, I've heard the I've heard
the album, so like I mean and be glad to
see you know, you guys fucking performing.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
That ship's canna be fucking awesome.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
It's gonna be sick weird hearing you say that. It's
so weird hearing I can't what to see you guys play.
I'm like, oh man, here like that. It's not happening.
It's not happening.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
He's in the sixth of the Ages of denial.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
And with me, I'm just I'm just with me.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
I'm just up your mind, my business. Rude. He's like,
it's not real. It's not real. He's not he's not going,
he's not going. Then you just see Alex. You just
see him dragging me fucking from my hair coming back
over here. That' like pulling me back in na.

Speaker 9 (33:21):
If I see someone else playing bass while you guys
are playing, be like that, motherfucker ain't real.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
It's not it's not happening.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
I'm gonna tell you where the weird moment is gonna be.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
The weird is gonna be being on stage me and
Alex side by side, and looking out of the crowd
and seeing Baji with a beer standing next to Rudi,
like that, that's gonna be surreal.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
That's gonna be fucking weird.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
I have not I've liver performed one show with Boji
like in the crowd they only wanted.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
That was high school.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
That was like, oh yeah, that was the first the
first show I played after high school, and I was like,
that was the last time.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
I was like, Eh, there's Baji.

Speaker 6 (34:05):
I was at that show.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
And here we are now thirty five years old.

Speaker 8 (34:09):
I'm like, hell, yeah, brother, oh yeah, brother, this moment.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
This is my boy, my boyoy, my boy.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
But the good thing is that you can focus more
on the podcast, which is cool. Yeah, but you're still
gonna be a part of the podcast. They're still going
to see you. So as far as podcast shit, nothing.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
Changed, nothing's going to change with that. It's all the same.
We're all going to be here talking bullshit.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Cool cool, All right, Well on that, and you know what,
I'll let you lead it off. I'll let you since
this is your episode, I'll.
