Bureau good, MORNING. Tj Morning.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Dave growing up in this neck of the, WOODS i
have to tell, you if you Saw tom McGee out and,
about that was something. Special growing up as a, kid
everybody knew. McGee six, O'clock my parents had him on
in the. Background you could hear what was happening on the,
news whether we were at the dining room, table whether
we were coming in from a, ballgame something going. ON i,
mean he was just ubiquitous in The Canal valley and
(02:38):
he was the face of news at least in the meadows.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Household, yeah started AT, cnn came TO i Believe channel eight,
first and then worked at both eight and thirteen during
his career In fox eleven even went off on his
own there for a little bit as. Well so looking
forward to talking To Danny, jones Who i'm curious If
danny ever got grilled By tom McGee during his During
(03:00):
danny's days as a, Politician i'm actually did at some.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Point that's, interesting you, know because McGhee had a STYLE i,
think you know from People i've talked, to he could
get things from. Folks he didn't have to necessarily grill.
Him but that'll be. Interesting, well Ask anny that. QUESTION
i would very much like to hear that answer as.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Well he'll join, us And Mark hunt will join us
coming up a little bit later on this hour here
On Metro news Talk. Line but we start In, washington D.
C friend of the, Program mike, McKenna Washington times columnists joining.
Us he's got a new call him out and he's talking. Revolution,
okay you have my. Attention mike joins us On Metro
(03:37):
news Talk. Line, mike good, morning good to talk to you.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
Again how you doing guys.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Doing, Well, Mike so why are we talking? Revolution?
Speaker 5 (03:48):
Yeah so the column just makes two. Points one is
that That Donald trump has been leading a quiet revolution
for about ten years.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
Now and.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
At The epstein files and the folks who are absolutist
about it are you, know they're The they're the same
guys who are into The guillotines and The French revolution
and The Red guards and The Chinese. Revolution the same
kind of. PEOPLE i don't mean the, murderers but they
have the same sort of either you're one hundred percent
with me or you're useless to. Me so then you know.
(04:21):
It LIKE i, said The president has has been leading
this quiet. Revolution he's destroyed traditional. Media he's destroyed The clinton,
dynasty The bush, dynasty The cuomo's In New. York you,
know he's destroyed the immigration policies in The United states
for the, better, RIGHT i, mean he you, know he's
he has sized through a bunch Of america here and
(04:45):
AND i think people need to sort of think about
The epstein thing in that in that, context, right that
there's about one hundred things going, on and This epstein
thing is about thing number ninety.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Seven So, mike why not just put it, out put
it off the, table be done with.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
It Then, yeah, YEAH i agree with, That AND i
said that in the. Column i'm, like should they release them?
Speaker 7 (05:04):
All?
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Absolutely, absolutely you know obviously with's you, know something's in
there that's not really you, know appetizing to, anybody is?
It you, know the president in? THERE i doubt it very.
Seriously the president is in. There The biden, team whether
it would have cost that up, immediately, Right SO i,
suspect you, know we have we have a situation where
friends are being protected and you, know nobody should be
(05:27):
protected from the. Law. Right that's the thing about The epstein.
Thing it's you, know other rich and tireful going to
follow the same rules as, us or they can have
their own. Rules So i'm totally good with. That it's
the absolutism of the folks that kind of gets me
a little, Concerned, like you, Know trump's worthless and needs
to be dumbed if he doesn't give us The epstein.
Files i'm, like, yeah let's just take a step back from.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
That but talking To mike, McKenna Austin times, Calumnist, mike
this is being portrayed as a schism in The maga
the larger mega movements or if you want to, say
the rights Or republicans, overall.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Is that being portrayed accurately in your?
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Opinion, YEAH i mean at least excuse him as kind
of a it's a split right, now, right and you
know it's it's not it's it hasn't turned into something that's, irredeemable,
Right but, yeah there's definitely people who look at it, like,
hey this is a really important, thing and this is
like an acid test for. ME i CAN'T i can't
(06:28):
be with this. GUY i can't follow this guy unless
he releases. Him and that's sort of WHY i wrote the.
Column i'm, like, Guys i'm not saying this isn't, important
but think about the long sweep of things is that
the president has been in the middle of doing. Right
this is, important but it's not that. Important it's is.
Not but, yeah there's there's they're they're definitely, certain you,
(06:49):
know starting to separate into. Factions.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Right the media likes this because it gets. Clicks how
much responsibility do certain pundits light, Here mike for where
we are with, this BECAUSE i, mean we're talking about.
It the big wigs nationally talk about it because people
are infatuated by, It so you, know do they bear?
Responsibility should they be talking about something else and not?
Speaker 8 (07:13):
This?
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Yeah, Yeah, look first, off the story is a great, story.
Right it involves power and powerful people and, sex And i'm, like,
dude you know you can't beat, that, Right and a,
guy a guy who you know did or didn't kill
himself in a. Jail all, Right there's a lot of
stuff going, On SO i get why it's. Exciting but
you know, what that's, why that's, why that's why folks
(07:38):
in political movements need to be, careful right because you
know you you. GUYS i don't MEAN i mean to
say you, guys but you, know immedia covers things that are.
Controversial you, know everybody in THE i think everybody in
the publican party be better off to sort of rebalance
their priorities here and, realize LIKE i, said there's a
bunch of stuff more. Important and you, know with this
(07:59):
story still have, legs, yes would's will we still be
talking about it all the? TIME i don't think. So
but you, know it is a good, STORY i, know
let's be, honest it's it's a it's a pretty fun.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Story talking To mike.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
McKenna he's calumnist for The Washington. Times, mike is there
any correlation or do you see a correlation between those
in THE maga movement who are hell bent on having
The epstein files, released who are coming up with every
conspiracy theory they can come up, with and those who
also disagree with, say trump foreign policy Or trump's support For.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Ukraine do you see any correlation?
Speaker 5 (08:35):
There, Yeah, yeah that that's a good, point, right there's
there's there's a lot of there's a lot of that
going on that you, Know i'm Not i'm not excited
that we you, know we've we've we've changed policy On.
Ukraine i'm not you, know people now there are people
who are not excited to change policy On. Ukraine people
are not excited that we're eventually basickey in the israelis
(08:57):
a plank. CHECK a bunch of people are very skeptical
about the value and the wisdom of the attack On.
Iran you. Know, so, yeah there's a there's a high
there's a high degree of identity between those people and
the people who are doing this. Stuff and you, KNOW i,
MEAN i get. It you, know if you're if you're
one of these. Characters you know you you live on
(09:19):
the clicks, too and your your juice derives from. It but,
yeah there's there's a there are other acts being. Ground
here is a good way to put.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
IT i Guess Tulsie gabbard did her document dump On.
Friday i've read through some of the, documents not all of,
them and just say it's a lot of black ink number,
one which is kind of disappointing to. Me but number
two the memo that kind of boils all this. Down,
michael is this sleight of? HAND i, mean this probably
(09:49):
won't be. Popular we're Huge trump folks here In West.
Virginia i'll take it on the chin for, this but
this seems slight of hand to. ME i don't know
what she's doing other than trying to fool. People that's my.
Take AM i?
Speaker 6 (09:59):
Wrong?
Speaker 5 (10:02):
YEAH i hope let's put this. RIGHT i hope you're, WRONG,
tj because you, KNOW i have nothing but respect For Colonel, gabbard,
RIGHT i, mean she served her. COUNTRY i think she
speaks a lot of, wisdom, Right but it just does
kind of look like an attempt to change the subject
and maybe preserve her. JOB i don't the timing and
(10:24):
the the timing and the manner of the role out
there was confusing at, best, Right SO i.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
It.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Doesn't it doesn't seem to me to be designed to
do much right except except throw some chaff into the.
Conversation does?
Speaker 6 (10:40):
That does that make?
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Sense it?
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Does AND i think too if You're PAM bondi now
you have this. INJUSTICE i don't know If Tulsi gabbard's
on Your christmas card list. Anymore you've kind of put
the hot potato over into that.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Department, yeah it's kind of weird, too, right because it's
stuff from ten years. Ago AND i DON'T i don't
mean to say that it's been, litigated because a bunch
of it hasn't been, litigated but given the loss city
of the world, nowadays ten years might as well be
ten hundred. Years you. Know when it first came, out you,
KNOW i was, like, yeah, well you know back When
President obama Was President, Obama AND i was, like, man
(11:12):
can you even remember When President obama Was President? OBAMA i.
CAN'T i don't think any mails can't. Either.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Mike to that, Point by the, Way i've got a
twenty some year old video producer most days who When.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
President obama Was President obama he was in middle.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
SCHOOL i, mean that's how far back we're going. HERE
i don't see any advantage for The trump. ADMINISTRATION a
couple of thoughts, Here, mike and you can chime. IN
i don't see any advantage of trying to retry these
things from, ten twelve years, ago whatever the case may. Be, Also,
MIKE i think it speaks to if you want to
(11:50):
come up with a grand conspiracy theory regarding The epstein,
files for, example that there's this grand cover up and
somebody's protecting this individual or that individual or. WHOMEVER i
think this, illustrates plus the rollout of The epstein files
that in many cases the right hand doesn't know what
the left hand's doing in the, administration or you would
have a better rollout instead of these surprise kind of
(12:13):
releases and then, go, well THE ag needs to do something, Here,
well THE fbi needs to look into. This SO i
think it speaks to a lack of a conspiracy theory
when it comes to the broader.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
Picture, yeah two things about. You let me just agree
with a bunch of. That two things real, quick, Right,
americans great advantage in the world and great disadvantage in
the world is they have no memory of. History, no you,
know and history is everything that happened three months or
further away, ago, right you, know we don't remember. Defeats
(12:44):
we also don't remember. Victories we don't remember any of this,
stuff which is probably pretty good in the long. Run
so that, Right So obama ten years, ago ten years,
ago LIKE i, said it must, be that might as
well be a thousand years, ago might as well happened In.
Constantinople so that. Right and then the second thing, is,
yeah the tricky thing is about a conspiracy is everyone
(13:07):
has to be focused and super smart and you, know
on message at all. Times AND i love my friends
and The trump, administration but super focused and on message
all the time is not necessarily where they.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Are so WHEN i get, SERIOUS i call you. McKenna, so,
McKenna If epstein is number ninety, seven what are some
of the other things that are like, one, two, three,
four five in your opinion that we're not talking about
that we should be focused.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
On, well you, KNOW i THINK i think we should
keep talking about immigration BECAUSE i think there's you, know
we've now now that the border is, secure we're going
to have to start talk, About, okay what are we
gonna do with all the folks who are in the country? Legally,
Right that's that's that's not an easy. Question you're watching
it every, day you, know are we going to deport?
Them or are we going to what are we going to?
(13:54):
Do and how are we going to deport? Them we're
going to do? That, Right, so to my, mind THAT'S
i question two or. THREE i still don't think anybody's
serious about the debt and deficit and that you, know
that's a ticking time bombing at some point somebody can't
have to get serious on you, know we just just
the regular old nuts and bolts of. Government we need
to pass funding for a military and we need to
(14:16):
pass our twenty six, appropriations and you know there's gonna
be a lot Of mayhem tucked into all that, stuff you.
KNOW i think it's an honest question about whether we're
going to have you, know who should run the Federal.
RESERVE i think it's an honest question about who should
run independent regulatory? Agencies, right should they respond to the
president or should they be out there floating? Around so you,
(14:38):
know there's there's there's a bunch of damage to the
left need to be fixed from from the, last from
the last folks who left the place busted.
Speaker 6 (14:46):
UP i you, know, this this this.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
THING i don't want to call it a distraction because
it's more than. That but it's not much more than.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
That we'll figure out how to make that sexy and
people want to talk about. It So i'll leave that
to you and your.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
Visit, yeah, yeah you, know maybe MAYBE i need to you,
know just just put a beefcake er photo along with my.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Column, well looking forward to the next. Column mike should
be very. Interesting then should Be mike, McKenna columnists For
The Washington. Times mike always appreciate the insights FROM. Dc thank, you,
Buddy thanks you.
Speaker 5 (15:22):

Talk three oh four texter says the sex Abuser trump
ran on releasing the. Files now he won't because he's
in all of. Them keep making excuses for the sex.
Abuse The republicans have no honor or. Integrity talk about the,
video the, pictures and the sex abuser's own words about
partying With. Epstein he quote likes beautiful women as much as,
(17:14):
me some of them on the younger. Side one of
the sex traffick girls came from Mar A. Lago your show,
Sucks so The republicans and the state welcome to, hell
says the. Text, well thank you for the kind. Words,
look So.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I'm, SORRY i can't let that.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
Go.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Trump why would he run.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
On it if he knew he were in? THEM i,
mean that just doesn't hold. Water i'm. Sorry if he
knew and he would, know, look you, know, right or
you know you have the, chance you wouldn't run on releasing.
THEM i think McKenna holds water on his. Idea, look
what are we protecting?
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Here is?
Speaker 12 (17:51):
It?
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Something is?
Speaker 12 (17:53):
It you?
Speaker 4 (17:54):
Know the rumors have talked About israeli. CONNECTIONS i don't know,
who but it's Not. Trump if It Trump biden would
have released. THAT i, mean come, on come, on maybe
just maybe there is nothing. There, well that's possible, TOO
i mean.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
The conspiracy theorists AND i use that in the most
negative connotation. Possible the conspiracy theorists always can take the
step back and go, yeah but so if you are
not going to, believe if you were not going to
Believe Cash pateel Or Dan, bongino who.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Were among those who you, know prop this, up release the.
Files if you can't believe that they have reviewed it
and have come back and said there's nothing.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
THERE i don't know who you're going to believe or
what you're going to. Believe unless you physically get the
list that you have determined exists in your, mind you're
always going to be able To that's the thing with conspiracy.
Theories you can always take that step back and, go,
yeah but there's, more you're just not releasing. It it's
like you, know aliens right area fifte the conspiracy. Theory
(19:03):
you mean that turned out to be the stealth that
we were testing that?
Speaker 6 (19:06):
Deal?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Right?
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Oh you know what you're you're not it's it's a cover.
Up and quite, frankly what the conspiracy theorists are accusing
the administration of is quite, vile and none of them
are willing to come out and actually say. It so
maybe there is nothing there and until some evidence is
produced otherwise and LOOK. Tj you know as well AS i.
Do any loose association with this, guy you are going
(19:29):
to be guilty by. Association and there's any number of
people because, oh by the, way he was running A
ponzi scheme so he could facilitate this grotesque and perverted.
Lifestyle that's WHAT i, think three or four talk three or.
Four The epstein story was dead Until musk revived. It,
(19:52):
hey guys listening from my Canopy, florida AM i saying that?
Right un point nine nine nine Perc the folks down
here don't care About epstein. Files but like, always you
and the media harp to no end on stuff like
this without, fail just like THE ceo Of fair caught on. Camera,
no that was just. Funny it's why scabies is more
(20:13):
popular than the. Media nobody.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Cares scapies is more.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Popular that'sad.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Line last time we had a scabies reference here on this,
SHOW i don't think we've ever had. One texter says
conservative choreography in full swing this. Morning Embarrassing trump got
convicted on a twenty sixteen charge that THE dj would
not prosecute short memories on the, left says the. Texter
(20:40):
you guys didn't challenge, McKenna just, softballs emphasizing his mega talking.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Points what a lame, interview says The.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
TEXTER i think mckenn is right on, this, THOUGH i
think they're way more important things to be talking.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
About look part of this, TOO.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Tj it's this is the Perfect there is a gnat

so blame The trump.
Speaker 1 (21:15):

just doing gasoline on what was just a smoldering fire
at that. Point all, Right i'm gonna do something about

to be a new. Person you, KNOW i know a
lot About. Tom over the, years we Had tom a
lot of time to have private. Conversations and you, Know
(26:24):
tom was A vietnam. Veteran they drafted him when he
was twenty one years. Old they he had finished. College
and by the, way he was the first anchor ON.
Cnn so let's let's look clear that. Up he was
the first anchor ON, cnn but he served it toward
duty In, vietnam and he told, me he, Said, mark you,
(26:46):
know they asked me to kill, men women and. Children
AND i had a problem with. That and after the
WAR i compensated with.
Speaker 6 (26:54):
By.
Speaker 19 (26:55):
Drinking Tom one of his famous quotes, was you, know
he never drink any, liquor but he drank a river of.
Speaker 20 (27:02):
Beer and he.
Speaker 19 (27:03):
Said that he felt like he was criticized because of you,
know he had been through the, war and that was his.
Compensation But tom. Overcame tom didn't take a drop of
beer for probably the last twenty, years And, tom at
sixty years, old went to law, school accomplished a law school,
(27:26):
stint passed the, bar and became a very good practicing
attorney and provided his clients really good legal. Help and
so you, know he's a testament to, perseverance and he's
a testament that you, know you don't have to be
a young person to overcome. PROBLEMS i, mean he stepped
(27:47):
up at sixty and went to law. SCHOOL i went
to law school WHEN i was thirty and it was.
DIFFICULT i can only imagine what it was like to
go to law school at sixty and then passed the.
Bar it's a strange was test And tom did. It tom,
persevered And Tom tom became a good lawyer and served as.

to say About tom McGee.
Speaker 21 (28:37):
There, Well i'm met him right here in this building
when he first came. Here i'd seen him ON, cnn
but we actually were similar looking to each, other and
both had mustaches and both chasing the same. Girls and
he got, upset you know when when WHEN i, won
(29:01):
which wasn't very often but he usually. Won but AFTER
i got in trouble over the, drugs he ambushed me
on an interview show that the channel that used to,
do and you, know it upset me in SO i
SAID i wanted to, rematch and they, said they said
(29:26):
you better Be tom sent. Word he better be, prepared
AND i, said you tell, him he better be. Prepared
SO i had somebody out in the studio that was
using a tape recorder that to tape the audio, version
BECAUSE i knew IF i got him too, bad they
(29:49):
just wouldn't air, it AND i wanted to prove that
it was. Said but it didn't. Air we had a
wonderful interview and we were friends since, then AND i
was in the Program i'm An alcohl AND i used
to talk To tom a lot and he would come
down to uh visit me when we were building the
pool at the house and and we just got to be.
(30:09):
Friends and the last TIME i saw him was WHEN
i was up At rite eight On South hills or
what's it called Now Walgreens, walgreen and he's with his
caretaker AND i saw, him and he didn't remember his,
name but he Looked mayor like, that and, he As mark,
(30:30):
said he was a. GENIUS i, mean to go to
law school at that. Age and uh. Yeah and of
Course Judge cobman ever got upset because they didn't settle
it in the outside of the, courtroom but you, Know
tom prevailing that and they should.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Have So Mayor tom had been. SICK i THINK i
saw that he passed in. Hospice he had been, Sick
is that? Right?
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yes do we know.
Speaker 19 (30:56):
A couple of?
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Years, yeah elaborate on, That mark if you.
Speaker 19 (30:59):
Would, Yeah tom had been sick a couple of. Years
and you, know a further testament To. TOM i, Mean
tom fought At tom tried to. Overcome but you, Know
tom was doused with agent orange In vietnam and he
had a number of cancers.
Speaker 6 (31:18):
All over his.
Speaker 19 (31:19):
Body as those people of those malignancies happened after they've
had been exposed To Agent, orange And tom fought, it
And tom, struggled and you, know at the end of,
this this this, thing this The Grim reaper is going
to get us. All The Grim reaper hasn't lost. Yet
But tom shrew gave up a struggle and as he always.
Speaker 21 (31:42):
Did, yeah and he uh He AND i talked about
that Because i'm a prostate cancer survivor AND i get
a disability and people ask me all the, Time mark
About Agent. ORANGE i CAN i bought a poster in
here For. Dave we didn't talk about it of all
that the different chemicals that were over, there and that
(32:04):
was always my, Answer Agent. Orange are you? Kidding there
were at least seven different cancer CAUSING uh emissions that
were IN. UH i was in d name what do you?
Speaker 19 (32:17):
Think and by the end OF i Think tom had
about all of.
Speaker 21 (32:21):
IT i think it's the same Reason i'm writing a,
book BECAUSE i got.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
Hooked why do you think he said In charleston Though, Fellows,
Danny i'll start with. YOU i, mean he could have went.
Anywhere he had a big talent.
Speaker 21 (32:33):
Because he got. HOOKED i, mean and he just couldn't
Lead charleston the same REASON i, can't and same Reason Mark, conhead.
Speaker 19 (32:41):
Because, yeah he was absolutely A West virginia And. Charlestonian
he had you, know he wasn't, homegrown but he was
one of.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Us mark as as an, attorney these same qualities that
made him a good journalist What danny's talking about, there you,
know with being the tough interview in trying to get
you did those qualities lend themselves to being a good
attorney as.
Speaker 19 (33:07):
Well, Absolutely tom gave his clients a good value And
tom won more often than, not and he learned his
area of, law practice it well and help those. PEOPLE
i would See tom with his clients and they got
good advice and they were well taken care. Of And
(33:27):
tom fought to the end with him And mark if
correct me If i'm, wrong but he did a lot
OF dui cases that you, know we did a commercial.
Together in the funny line in the commercial Was tom
says That tom says at one point he, Said i've
had a lot Of uy's long palls in my. Office
(33:51):
remember when he got.
Speaker 21 (33:52):
When he got popped that last, Time and they did
a stick on it On channel thirteen with him going
and they found, him you, know changing it into.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
Umps but doesn't that make him a great advocate for.
THAT i, mean, here you've got a, guy the most
cuban of. Humans we all have. Demons he's owning his
and he's lived that multiple, times and he's trying to
help other. People, yeah and overcame and trying to help
other people as he goes. ALONG i, mean that's that's
a good story in my.
Speaker 21 (34:21):
Mind and and people had a testament and people ask
me about my. Transparency that's where he comes from from
being in theater and being an, alcoholic, Right Mark.
Speaker 19 (34:32):
Yes And tom is a test testament to. Seniors let's face,
it he was already past middle aged when he went
to law. School proof that we can all do. It
we can all do, it we can all, overcome we
can all we can all step out of the step
into the positive lane of. Life and he.
Speaker 21 (34:50):
Did life's a series of, comebacks isn't, It Mark.
Speaker 19 (34:53):
Yes and he did a test to. That you, know
if if if If i'm asked to say something, Funeral

words when you think Of tom, McGee and one of
them is. Overcoming there you, go he was he.

electricity that, night so we fired up a generator And
tom did the, news AND i mean he did it
in stride and did it in no air, conditioning and

Speaker 1 (45:44):
PROOF i mean, again this is the problem with the conspiracy, THEORIES.
Tj no proof will ever be, sufficient and a lack
of evidence is not evidence when it comes to. This,
this this is morphed into one of those things that
and The trump administration and the campaign is part of
(46:05):
the problem. Here but this thing is morphed into something
that will never satisfy any conspiracy theorists who has built
this up into their mind as A cia cover, up
or that he was some member Of, masad or whatever
the case may. Be unless you get the answer you
think you already, know you're never going to be. Satisfied

Speaker 4 (48:17):
Sir that was.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
FUN i enjoyed listening To Mark Hunt State auditor And Danny.
Jones that's one of those Former charleston, Mayor Danny jones
talking about the life and career Of tom, McGee the
long time news anchor in The Huntington charleston, area passed
away this week at the age of seventy. Eight that's
one of those where you just kind of lean back
and let him, go and it was fun to hear those.
(48:39):
Stories danny getting. AMBUSHED i kind of enjoyed that one
getting ambushed in an, Interview.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
Yeah because you could See danny doing the ambushing, too
being on the other side of, that which is what
makes it. Funny you, know there are a few. People
Danny jones would be. One i'd have to think of
the other. Two But i'd like to get three folks
together and just wind them up and let them go
on historical have the historical, references and have the, context
and have lived through certain, events AND i think you
(49:05):
could have a fascinating one hour.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
Conversation, well it doesn't take. Much Get Danny jones wound
up and. Rolling you got to do is just kind
of tee him up and let him.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
Go let him.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
Go, yeah three or four talk three or four of
the text line at eight hundred seven six five eight
two five. Five we've touched on the report and the
files that were released By Tulsi gabbard Concerning russian, Interference
President obama's role in that or alleged role in. That
let's go To, WASHINGTON, Dc Fox News Radios Jared halper
and joins Us. Jared what do we make of the
(49:36):
release From Taulsi.
Speaker 14 (49:37):
Gabbard, WELL i, mean right, NOW i don't know what
there is to make about. IT i, mean obviously the
reaction is pretty. Partisan they're going to be questions about
kind of the context of all of. This Tulsi gabbert
says she has released everything now to The Justice. Department
it'll be up to THE doj to decide whether or
not there are any charges to move forward with. That
(49:58):
that usually takes some, time and when you're talking, about you,
know former officials in, government it's generally a pretty high,
bar and there'll be a lot more INFORMATION i would
imagine they'd need to see in sort of the context
behind all of. This you, know these are intelligence. Documents
(50:19):
it's not unusual for different intelligence agencies to reach different
conclusions and for that to kind of lead to some
ambiguity when intelligence assessments are delivered to the. President so you,
KNOW i think that's kind of the reaction you're seeing right,
now at least from those who are kind of looking
at what the next steps might be. Legally So, jared.
Speaker 4 (50:41):
How important is context, then because if you don't run
in these circles and you don't understand How washington, works
how the intelligence community, works wouldn't it be somewhat difficult
to really take that one hundred page, download which is
largely blank by the, way blacked, out and really understand
what is going.
Speaker 14 (50:56):
ON i, mean that's the, thing, RIGHT i, mean because you,
know intell diligence comes in a lot of different. Forms
you get raw, intelligence you get signals. Intelligence, obviously you
have to protect sources and, methods and so if there
were to be you, know some sort of prosecution or,
anything you would have to even that would be. Redacted at,
(51:19):
points you can't just share this stuff with grand. Juries
you have to have in some cases even judges have
to have special. Clearances that's why we affizor courts and
things like that right, in like specific intelligence types of
courts to deal with these types of of. Assessments there'll
(51:40):
be questions about why this is coming out, now and you,
know why wasn't this looked into During President trump's first
term in? Office and there have already been a lot
of congressional a lot of congressional reviews and special council
reviews that have dealt with this. Subject and SO i
(52:02):
do think that there are going to be questions about what's,
new and again the broader context.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
That you put all of it Into boxing's. Radios Jared
halpern is joining.
Speaker 11 (52:11):
Us.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
Jared with everything that's swirling around the release of THE
mlk files barely a blip on the, radar it feels.
Speaker 14 (52:18):
Like, WELL i don't know if there's a lot of
new stuff in THE i, mean we were told even
before the release there wasn't going to be like a smoking.
Gun this is just kind of files that have been
under seal since the seventies that deal with the FBI's
surveillance OF mlk before his. Assassination the family was opposed
(52:38):
to the release again because there wasn't a lot of new.
Inform it doesn't give us any new information about the
crime or the. Assassination it has certainly been a lot
of public interest around the FBI's activities as it relates
to its surveillance of the civil rights. Leader but, AGAIN
i think it kind of falls into the that broader
(53:02):
view of kind of context and what we're looking for
and what's. NEW i think it's, GOOD i guess for
the historical, record but going through some of, it you
don't get a sense that there's a lot of bombshell
information here that's going to change our understanding of EITHER
mlk the figure or the assassination OF mlk back in
(53:24):
nineteen sixty.
Speaker 4 (53:25):
Eight what's the top of mind at The White house, Today.
Speaker 14 (53:30):
Well The president's meeting in a few minutes with The
president of The. Philippines that's going to be obviously an
important sit down as you talk about tariffs and, trade
especially in The Indo, pacific in trying to orient trade
in orient countries away From china and towards THE. Us
there's a big military partnership THE us has with The,
(53:51):
philippines SO i imagine that'll be a big source of
the conversation between the two. Presidents, obviously The president will take,
questions you would imagine about The epstein, investigation now that
The Deputy Attorney general has said that he intends to
have a conversation and interview With Gallainne, maxwell who was
serving a twenty year prison, sentence in the coming. Days
(54:13):
The house Of Representatives Oversight committee has also approved a
subpoena Of maxwell that would lead to a deposition at some.
Point SO i imagine that is a story that got
new legs this morning when we saw that announcement from
The Justice department in The House Oversight.
Speaker 1 (54:30):
Committee Fox news Radios Jared halpern joining used there was
a joint statement FROM i think it was thirty six,
countries INCLUDING i think The United kingdom CRITICIZING us and
The israel BACKED aid model For.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
Gaza what's been The White house? Reaction, well The White.
Speaker 14 (54:48):
House THE us is not signed on to that. Document,
now that is a letter that again calls for the
immediate cease fire In. Gaza that is something that THE us,
support but this also really condemns and criticizes how this
aid is being. Distributed there have been scores Of palestinian
(55:11):
civilians who have been killed near these aid distribution. Sites
The israeli military has opened fire in some of these,
incidents they say because of threats that are being posed to,
soldiers and so it is raising concerns about how these
aid distribution sites are being, handled where they're, located how
(55:32):
it easily or difficult it is For palestinians to reach
this critical. Aid YESTERDAY i asked The press secretary about,
this if The president satisfied with the current. Model she said,
that you, know if it weren't for this, model if
it weren't for THE, us there wouldn't be any aid
getting in it. All that she understands that it's challenging and,
(55:53):
complicated and that that is why The president is pushing
so hard for a ceasefire In.
Speaker 6 (56:00):
Guayza The.
Speaker 14 (56:02):
President's special envoys Both Tom barrock And Steve whitcoff are
engaged in those. Conversations we are told that THIS us
ceasefire plan has been on the table now and they're
kind of waiting for a response From hamas And israel
to get on the same page with what that might look. Like,
obviously you still have hostages that are being held By
hamas and their release is critical to any sort of
(56:26):
ceasefire deal being.
Speaker 4 (56:27):
Reached, JARED i know you're at The White, house but
breaking news out of The hill this FROM i THINK
i got into The New York Times Speaker johnson shutting
down The house Until september to block An epstein. Vote
what are you hearing there if anything?
Speaker 14 (56:39):
Else, well, YEAH i mean it goes back to this
whole sort of question About epstein and what The Justice
department knew and how they handled. This there is The
Rules committee has to meet to put forward to any
bill moving forward in The, house and you Have democrats
and a number Of republicans who are kind of attaching
these resolutions that would compel to this department to release
(57:01):
all of The epstein files on basically any piece of.
Legislation those are tough votes that a lot Of republicans
don't want to take right, now and so rather than
kind of force those votes and get ahead of The
president and The Justice, department it sounds like The speaker's
going to hold these suspension votes, today this kind of
way to get around The Rules, committee and then they'll
(57:23):
break a little bit early for the summer. Recess they
were always intended to leave the end of this, week
so this is kind of starting that process a couple
of days. Early but it shows that this is an.
Issue this bipartisan kind of concern and questions and criticism
of The Justice department memo earlier this month On, epstein
(57:45):
how that is kind of overshadowing everything happening In washington
and now has paralyzed The house from moving forward on
any of the appropriations or anything else that they were
planning on doing here before The august.
Speaker 1 (57:58):
Recess Fucking Radio's Jared halpern, chared BEFORE i let you,
GO i have to bring this up because The president
gave sports talkers something to moll over.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Yesterday are The redskins coming?
Speaker 14 (58:10):
BACK i can't imagine a scenario in which they bring
back that. Name one the new ownership said that they've
moved on from this. Too there is a lot of,
pulling at least locally that the name is starting to
become more popular with. FANS i think there's always going
to be an older contingent of longtime fans that don't like.
It Free the team right now is trying to get
(58:33):
the stadium deal done with the. District The president says
he could block. That it is unclear to me how
because there was a law passed By congress that transferred
that land back to the. District now there are still
some federal oversight boards that have to sign off on
different things once they move. Forward but if the team
were to change its name back to The, redskins that
(58:54):
would complicate that. Deal the city council in district officials
kind of made clear years ago that changing the name
was a major step that needed to be taken if
the team wanted to build a stadium back in the.
District so it seems like there's an awful lot going
against the name, change and we'll see if The president
(59:16):
kind of makes good on this threat to block the stadium.
Deal BUT i know that it's not something that ownership
is really implying to talk about or consider right.
Speaker 1 (59:25):
Now, WELL i mean they're bringing back The gibbs era retro,
uniforms sands the logo right for for three, games one
of them Against dallas this.
Speaker 14 (59:33):
Year so, yeah you, know kind of got to that.
GAME i, think, WELL i know you're.
Speaker 2 (59:38):
A troubled man and you are for. Punishment so, WELL
i mean a Cow i'm A.
Speaker 6 (59:43):
Cowboys, yeah that's WHAT i.
Speaker 14 (59:44):
Mean, yeah But cowboys.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
Come?
Speaker 4 (59:46):
Yeah AM i the only one that Thinks Washington Football
club was? OKAY i MEAN i like that better than The.
COMMANDERS i mean to, me that was. Okay you.
Speaker 14 (59:55):
Know the problem The commanders wasn't real. Popular but the
problem IS i understood, it is that a lot of
the other names that they considered or wanted had like other,
trademarks like people owned it and they want to PONY i,
mean they paid six billion dollars for the, franchise then
you got to pony up more for a. Name, yeah
(01:00:16):
how much do you want to spend on this?
Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Team it's not worth?
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
It, WELL i mean winning. Cure jared meaning.
Speaker 14 (01:00:22):
The president a couple of weeks ago said something that
was important too when he was asked about it and
kind of was, like, well we'll, See i'd like the
name to go, back but then he said, winning uh
kind of changes, everything, Right this is a team on the.
Rise they start putting together some playoff. Wins no one's
gonna care what they call.
Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
Themselves, Absolutely, hey maybe The president can Get Michael parsons
a contract.

MOMENT a lot of attention has been directed towards Something
President trump calls clean beautiful. Coal that phrase often describes
the clean burning aspect Of West virginia, coal but there
is another type of, coal metallurgical, coal which is used
to make the steel our economy depends, on And West
virginia has some of the highest quality met coal in the.
(01:01:24):
World West virginia coal miners produce more met coal than
any other, state and seventy percent of all steel makers
in The United states rely On West virginia met. Coal
this accounts for two hundred billion dollars in economic impact
throughout the country and helps sustain over a half billion.
Jobs As President trump reinvigorates our, economy he will need
a lot of our high quality met. Coal so The
(01:01:47):
West Virginia Coal association asks you to join with them to,

Two oh, yeah that was back in the. Day SO
i want to pose this to The. Texters many of
you are texting in about the The epstein. Files, okay,
Okay the question is not whether or not they should
be what will satisfy you That that's WHAT i want to.
Know if you want The epstein files, released or you
(01:04:20):
think there are deeper, answers what will satisfy you is
what what level of transparency will satisfy your?
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Suspicions i'm just.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
What's the Level If dan BONGE O cashptel came out Said,
okay there's nothing, there they, said, no there's got there's something,
there release the, files all, Right so what what will
satisfy your.
Speaker 4 (01:04:48):
Suspicions let's say The israelis are. Implicated you talked about.
Massade let's say that's the, deal just. Speculation People if
we say if we, said, well national security, concerns that
wouldn't stop in. Anybody that wouldn't please. People if you
put OUT i would dare, say if you put out
every file the government has on the topic completely, unredacted
(01:05:11):
there would be some folks that would, say, well those
are the dummy, files those are the ones you Write you're.
Not so it's not human nature is human? Nature the
problem is we have more of the wrong kind of
human nature these days than we have, sanity and maybe
social media is bolstering, that making it seem deeper than
(01:05:33):
what it. Is, well but you're never going to get.
There you're never going to get. There there's until something
bigger comes along that we want to talk. About that's
when this will follow. Up that's, true when there's something
new in the news cycle to talk. About, well to your, point, yes,
yes you're never going to be. Satisfied we look for.
Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
Patterns we try to look for organization in, chaos and
that's part of the reason.
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
You come up with these.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Conspiracies, well there has to be a reason this guy
did the thing he, did or there has to be
a reason In sometimes there, is sometimes there is. Not
but what will satisfy? You what will satisfy your? Suspicions
that's WHAT i would like to have an answer.
Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
To, well here's one for. You do the politicians really
want people to be, satisfied because if we're talking about,
this we're not pressing them on budget things THAT i
like to harp. ABOUT i, MEAN i, mean, HONESTLY i
don't think that's an unfair. STATEMENT i don't know that
that's the reason behind.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
It that might be a happy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
Accident, yeah, yeah a bonus if you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:35):

Theory they're. FUN i Enjoy, goodwin but doesn't change a
lot for. Me it still got to get, up still
got to go to, work still got to take care of.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
Things so you know, what if it's The, illuminati it's The,
illuminati that's all thank, You KEVIN.
Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Tj.
Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
ANYTHING i, mean, look one of the REASONS i look
at the world through the prism of business is it
makes sense and economics trump's politics, always AND i do
think there's something to be said if there is a
strong economic, interest something that needs to happen. Economically DO
i think that can trump partisan? Politics? YEAH i do.
(01:15:37):
Eventually it may not, initially BUT i tend to like
to look at the world in that prism for that very.
Reason So i'm not disagreeing or agreeing with What kevin is,
saying but is there is capitalism and the system that
we work in every? Day to your, Point, dave does
that overshadow all of this? EVENTUALLY i think? So AND
(01:15:58):
i look at the world through that prism for that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
Reason, Hey, Justin justin And, charleston what do you, think?
Speaker 23 (01:16:03):
Buddy hey, MAN i was just trying to figure, Out
so are you guys down playing conspiracy theories or the
potential of The epstein. List i'm a little, fuzzy kind
of got halfway in your conversation. THERE i was just
wondering because you, know to, ME i don't know about conspiracy.
THEORIES i don't know If epstein killed. Himself BUT i
would like to know every single person that was involved
(01:16:25):
that came and went from that, island and every financial
institution that facilitated money transfers from that person To. Epstein
AND i don't care who's on the, list whether It's Joe,
Biden Bill, Clinton Donald, trump or anyone. ELSE i think
those names are really important and we should know that
information because protecting children could be.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Paramount ohe with, you justin here's my, question what if
there is no?
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
List what if there really is no?
Speaker 23 (01:16:52):
List, WELL i mean there may not be a hard
list because you may have not actually held a, ledger
but there's definitely flight, law there's definitely money. TRANSFERS i,
mean there's definitely enough. Proof would You Glene maxwell wouldn't
be doing twenty years in prison right?
Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
Now, WELL i mean she's definitely.
Speaker 23 (01:17:09):
Evidence.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Sure so my point, is and appreciate the phone. Call
my point is this THAT i don't know for some
of the some of those who are are hard on
the conspiracy, theory just that any amount of evidence that
whatever is, released will never live up to what they
have built up in their minds and there will always
(01:17:31):
be This, yeah but answer to, that that's that's What
i'm pooh poohing there a little.
Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
Bit would you.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Believe what they put?
Speaker 4 (01:17:37):
Out, justin if they declassified everything today and put it
all out there on the internet for, you would you
believe that that's? Real or would you think that those
are dummy?
Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
DOCUMENTS i mean you would have to.
Speaker 23 (01:17:46):
KNOW i, mean if you've actually researched court documents, before
you kind of have a little bit of a gist
of what is real and what's not. Real Because i'm
assuming that's what's going.
Speaker 20 (01:17:53):
To be put out.
Speaker 23 (01:17:54):
There if there isn't a, ledger there isn't you, know
actually just hand a written proof that this person did.
This it would be through court. Documents, hey, justin the
victims would be.
Speaker 1 (01:18:04):
Rejected, hey appreciate the phone, call, Buddy thank you very.
Much appreciate.
Speaker 23 (01:18:08):
It, yes, sir thank.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
You last week in.
Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
The Northern panhandle In Brooke county In, wellsburg a truck
driver was killed and an accident attractor trailer crashed into
The Ohio River friday. Morning break failure was believed to
have been a cause that truck, driver a sixty two
year old From, texas is being hailed as a. Hero
Bill steinbach WITH wtv new channel nine up in The,
(01:18:36):
Stubenville wheeling area was covering that. Story he joins us
On Metro news talk line this, Morning, Bill good. MORNING
i appreciate you coming on.
Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
Absolutely thanks for having.
Speaker 2 (01:18:45):
Me so kind of pick up the.
Speaker 1 (01:18:47):
STORY i gave the general description. THERE a truck driver
was killed in that. Accident he was coming Down Washington.
Pike kind of set the scene for folks who are
not familiar with that area In.
Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
Wellsburg, yeah that.
Speaker 6 (01:19:00):
Area Of wellsburg And Washington, pike it's a fairly steep
grade and then it goes Across State route two and
then then goes into the small town portion of. It
and when he was coming down that, road that is
one according to the first responders there and the officials
that we talked, to and after the, fact it's caught
up with he lost breaks on his rig was coming
down that hill and radio and, actually if you've ever
(01:19:21):
seen on the, highways when those eighteen wheelers have those wide,
loads those extra heavy, loads they've got those follow and
chase cars with. Them and what we had learned is
he had radioed one of those drivers they went to
block that main. Road so when he went across that
main portion of the road before he got into the
more of the town. Area at least that section was blocked.
Off but what this man actually did behind the wheel
(01:19:43):
pretty impressive to NOT i, mean obviously to tragic what
happened with, him but to go through that and he
probably went a good mile and a, half maybe two miles,
even at least from what we could see without, breaks
it looked like so what he was able to do
to control that vehicle at least to only have himself
be the victim of the, accident a small, area a
lot of, traffic fairly congested and not if anybody else
(01:20:04):
heard in this is all but close to a.
Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Miracle so bill he was CARRYING i think it was
close to two hundred thousand pounds of payload special permit
to carry that heavy. Weight AND i guess did one
of his escort drivers radio him and, say, HEY i
think your brakes are burning up.
Speaker 6 (01:20:21):
Here that is something we've not actually learned. Yet but
if you do watch on the, video you can see
a lot of smoke coming from the rear wheels on
that trailer. End and, well we were actually there On friday.
Afternoon we were there for a couple of hours it's
happened around nine thirty that. Morning we were there till
about two o'clock or. So some of the first responders
didn't think that that truck could have been on that
(01:20:43):
road in the first. Place So i'm sure there'll be
some kind of an investigation moving forward with all, that
and how to limit this from happening in the.
Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
Future that was gonna be one of my. QUESTIONS i,
mean typically you would have to get a permit right
to do, this which they. Had not being pejorative of this,
driver but. WONDERING i read that there's a lot of
truck traffic, there and given the grade of the, hill
some people are questioning how often that should, occur especially
with these oversized. Loads who grants that? Permit building, know
is that a STATE doh grant or where does that come?
Speaker 6 (01:21:11):
From from WHAT i, understand it would be a STATE
doh that they would have to grant. That AND i will,
say we cover that area quite a. Bit there's certainly
a lot of truck traffic. THERE i don't know if
this was an incident where they maybe have gotten lost
and didn't take the route in which they were originally
designated To that of course could have. HAPPENED i think
just with you so many, trucks there's so many out
(01:21:31):
of state, plates and it's somewhat of a confusing, area
SO i don't think that would be a surprising. Thing of,
course we'll have to learn further details on. That but if,
again if you look at that road where that they
were coming, down very steep, road but it does go
on to that state route, too which is again a
lot of truck. Traffic there are a lot of eighteen
wheelers and really at all times of the day you
see them traveling, there so not unusual for them to
(01:21:53):
be in the area at, all but that specific, road
and this might be something moving, forward we learned that,
hey that this shouldn't be.
Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
Happening talking to A Bill steinbach reporter with WT ov
nine up in The Steubenville wheeling area of the truck
driver sixty te year Old Gerald Davis. Junior and the
remarkable part of this, STORY i Think bill is the
we can't obviously get in the, cab but when he
realizes he's he's lost his. Breaks this rig is picking up,
speed he is heading into a neighborhood there In, wellsburg
(01:22:23):
and to keep that truck straight and. Not the public
library was off to the left side of that. Street
there are, houses you, know on those. Streets he made a,
decision and that decision was to sacrifice himself to make
certain in order to do his best job to not
hurt anybody, else and nobody else got.
Speaker 6 (01:22:40):
Hurt, yeah, Certainly and if you look AT i don't
know if you guys or the listeners have seen the,
video yet we had surveillance from one of the homes
on that. Street he came by extremely fast and with
that load on the back of. It AND i think
also just having covered this area quite a. Bit that,
road sure it looks if you look at a, map
it might look like it's From Washington pike to the,
(01:23:02):
river but we all know how towns could be set.
Up there's bumps in the. Road it's not exactly. SMOOTH
i believe he went THROUGH i, know one traffic signal
and THEN i think three or four other, intersections and
as you, said to take that option of to only
put himself in self in harm's way and to avoid you,
know we had a lot of comments that people saying
we could have done, this could have done, That But
(01:23:24):
i'm very impressive to keep that vehicle under control the
best that he, could and it really could have been
a lot more. Tragic you, know there's a lot of you,
know we again cover that area quite a. Bit there's,
kids there's, families a lot of, houses there are small.
Businesses SO i think for him to do what he
was able to, do it's quite, impressive and especially in that.
Moment and another part of the visual there is the
(01:23:45):
part of the river that he went into was not.
Exposed it was not just into the water. Directly he
went through a tree, line probably took out, five, six
maybe seven trees, there and these had been there for
quite some. Time you could could tell these were pretty
but sure. Trees so not only to just drive off
into the, river but to go through those, trees to see,
that to know if you've got, that and then into
(01:24:07):
the water, ultimately he DEFINITELY i think what he did
was pretty.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
Heroic do we know anything about the driver sixty Two texas?
Native know anything about His does he leave behind a
family doing any of his?
Speaker 6 (01:24:18):
Details, no those details they might be out, there BUT
i at least have not come across or seen any
of the information about his career and family driving anything like.
Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
That now did you speak, To were there, Witnesses were
there people out on the. Street did you get a
chance to talk to folks In?
Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
Wellsburg, yeah we saw a lot of folks that had
actually heard. IT i know some people have seen. It
when we were there On, friday at least nobody had
seen what had, happened at least in. Person they've of
course that one HOUSE i mentioned where we had surveillance.
Video they went back and. Watched but a lot of
people had heard. It they heard the horn on the.
Truck they could, hear you, know just to hear an
(01:24:53):
eighteen wheeler at that rate of speed in the neighborhood
all of a, sudden they, said we'll get your. Attention
but a lot of people, see, yea they heard the big,
Crash they heard the truck hit the, trees they heard
the water, splashing and then ultimately in short, order first,
responders a lot of sirens and there again on scene
there were, probably, jeez there had to be a good
fifteen twenty ambulances, There there was, boats there was swift water,
(01:25:15):
rescue a lot of fire trucks from different, departments police,
officers so it was definitely a busy. Scene and that's
a lot of the people said there were talking to
some ladies that worked in the library and just normal
day in the, library and all of a, sudden you
hear a big bang and then they hear the. Water
so they ran, outside and they were with us most
of the. Afternoon they're just talking, about you, know what
they had, seen what they had went, through and you,
(01:25:35):
know other people were coming up to us and, hey
you know, what do you? Know what did you? See
they heard it but didn't understand what had happened. Yet,
mean when we first got the alert that this, happened
we weren't aware that it was an eighteen wheel until
we got on. Site we had just thought perhaps there
was a pickup truck something like, that and when we got,
there a lot of those people had told us it
was something far more.
Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
