Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning, Big Brother fans.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It is Wednesday, August twentieth, day forty four. We keep
creeping on towards the end of the show, and stuff
has gone on again since yesterday morning. We have had
quite a bit of activity. So let's see if I
can get to this. First of all, before I forget

(00:24):
there should be normally is a halfway party when we
are halfway through the season, which we are now as
of technically Monday I think was the tipping the scale
to the halfway, So we usually expect a halfway party
in the Big Brother House where they bring out a
cake with the pictures of the house guests on it
and they shut the feeds down for several hours. Yet

(00:48):
all that stuff. We haven't had that halfway party yet.
We thought it might be yesterday. We thought it might
be Monday. So will it be today or are they
gonna wait and have it after this eviction which will
be quite a bit more than halfway.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Maybe they're waiting, that's just a guess. So what went
on yesterday.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Since I talked to you? The house guests caught up?
Let me think the uh oh, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
My first views of this of yesterday morning when I
checked in, was of dirty towels.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
They were cleaning the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So they started out with their their cleaning routine, which
is often led by Rachel. Others join in, but she
definitely puts on the rubber gloves and gets on her
hands and knees and cleans that bathroom. So they did that.
A couple of different house guests helped out. The chatter started,
they're locked inside. Don't forget they've been locked inside. Well

(01:56):
this was that was their full first full day locked inside.
They got lot inside after Monday, so yesterday was technically
their first full day locked inside.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
They will be.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Locked inside almost completely until depending on where they do
the power of Veto Saturday.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
If they do the para Veto somewhere, you.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Know, if it doesn't take him too long to tear
down the the what we assume is the wall competition
on Friday, they may get the backyard back Friday, or
they may get like late Friday night or Saturday, assuming
the power of Veto is somewhere else, which they've been
doing a good job of having the competitions elsewhere instead
of having them all in the backyard more recent years.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So which by the way, was one of the big wishes.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I think of Heath Luhmann, who was the original comp guy,
or at least the main comp guy for many many years.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
He's he's since gone on to do other stuff. I
miss Heath.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
He was someone who would communicate with us as a producer.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
So miss him.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
But so in the morning said cleaning, there's there's gaggles
and groups of.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
People getting together.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
We had a point where I think it was Ashley
and Will. They've been quite chatty and I can remember
this happening yesterday afternoon. I saw rumblings of Ashley and
Will are talking and then they got in. They were
up and they had a household room. They got Morgan
and Rachel. So you had Ashley, Will, Morgan and Rachel

(03:29):
talking and I think Ashley and Will talked about bringing
in Morgan and Rachel or maybe that's how they just
fell into the room. But they're talking about who to
go after, and there's been talk and this happened online.
I saw this was a tatna was the Guardian not
the Guardian, Ah, what is the British outlet? It was

(03:51):
one of the Globe, the Globe, the male one of them,
one of the one of the British what I would
have said, news, but you know it's all online anymore.
Was reporting about the fandom being upset about Riley and
you know his behavior towards Catherine and the way he's

(04:12):
treated her, and some people started thinking that maybe Riley
was acting a little bit different in the house yesterday,
so Joe, No, for sure, but have to wonder if
either diary room questions are getting to Riley or if
he's had a discussion with production saying you need to
be a little bit nicer to Catherine.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Not sure. They actually had a.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Disagreement yesterday where Catherine was mad at Riley, and I
documented this too.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I recorded it and then I didn't post it because
I was like, nah, we no. I did post a
little bit of it. Catherine said she was mad at
Riley because I think it was the stir Kelly said
to Catherine that Riley had claimed that he was it
was only with him because of the game, which is

(05:04):
which is a thing that a lot of a lot
of fans had kind of said early on. I kind
of gave Catherine credit and didn't think that was the case,
and I still don't think it's the case, I think
she kind of fell into it. I think the biggest
mistake is she didn't say no, She didn't give him

(05:25):
the cold shoulder enough, and he was determined and he
kind of won her over as it was, and I
think part of her, part of her kind of regrets it.
So let's not go down that rabbit hole. He went
down that rabbit hole yesterday. We're not doing that today.
So Katheryne was mad at Riley. Riley denied that he
had said those things, but then he kind of kind
of admitted he kind of had her.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
He said he was just joking or we kind of
got it.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
But it was really awkward, weird silences of him and
her and I wish she had just walked away, but
he was like, and this made a lot of the
social media's up with him saying kiss me, and she'd
said and she said I don't want to, and he said, well,
that's rude. I'm totally paraphrasing here and not saying it
quite in that way. And plus the microphone. Riley doesn't

(06:11):
have his microphone on a lot of times, and he's
hard to hear, and he tells big Brother says, put
on your microphone and he seems to ignore it and
get away with it. So this went on between Riley
and Catherine, and I wish Catherine had just walked away,
but she didn't. She ended up getting in the bed

(06:31):
next to him because he was sitting, he was laying
in the bed. She was standing in the bed talking
to him. She was slaying down next to him, and
they stare at each other, and I got tired of
it and stopped watching it. But I think they eventually
probably fell asleep, and big Brother eventually decided to watch
something else too, So that happened yesterday.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Meanwhile, at the same time, what was this is?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
No? This was? That was actually after the next thing
I'm going to talk about. So I've got my times
out out of sync. But for all that, because while
that was going on, Rachel and Ashley and I can't
remember who else we're walking around, They kept walking by
while they were talking. But before that, when Ashley and
Rachel and them were still upstairs in Morgan and Will

(07:14):
were still upstairs, so they're talking about the showmans Rachel.
I don't know if Rachel brought it up. I'm really
part of me conspiracy theory. Part of me feels like
production if even I commented, how Rachel has talked about
the Showman's, the Showman's, the Showman's, how I love the Showmans,
and of course we're all going we hate the showmance.

(07:36):
And I think Production knows how much the online publicates
the showmance and how they can't they don't want They've
promoted it a little bit. But but the you know,
the TV viewers are okay for now, but it has
even I saw someone comment it's even started to work
its way into the Facebook community, which considered the most

(08:00):
mos casual of the online communities. Right, that's the TV
only viewers who are talking about the show versus you know,
the the Blue Sky, and the Twitter community is the
one that's watching the live feeds and talking about the show.
That's kind of the delineation. But now the Facebook crew

(08:20):
crowd is kind of like, I don't know if I
like this relationship. So I think production is like, we
may we shouldn't be promoting this relationship as much.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Plus it isn't very good. It's kind of.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Bad and toxic, and Riley is kind of a total
dirt dirt bag towards Catherine at times. So I just
part of me just gotta wonder if they kind of
like turn Rachel a little bit, said, Rachel, maybe you
ought to not put as much emphasis or working to
that show man's Now they would say, we don't, we

(08:50):
don't mess with the game, But I don't know, you
never know.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
They have a way of asking questions either way.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Rachel suddenly yesterday in this conver with this group of
Will and Morgan and Ashley is talking about the showmance
and how powerful the showmance is and how her showmance
is what won her Big Brother thirteen because because Brendan
was in the in the jury house lobbying her for

(09:18):
her constantly, and that's why she won, because she wouldn't
have won if it wasn't for Brendan. And they were
a voting block and they and Brendan told her who
to vote for in Big Brother twelve and she.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Didn't even question him.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
So Catherine and Riley are going to be two votes
instead of one, and they are locked, and we need
to break that up so that we don't so at
least one of them isn't in the jersey. I mean,
it was just it was so anti showmance and I
was like, wow to the point where they were saying,
you know, it was a when Will and Ashley were talking,
it was we need to get rid of Mickey. Mickey's

(09:50):
gotta go. She's a problem. She she she, They had
a whole It was a whole quote. They have these
exposed parties now in the past few years where they
talk about it. And it was the Nick exposed party
where Ashley and Will and maybe Morgan maybe Morgan was
in that then, or maybe Rachel was there too, but
they did this whole Ashley or sorry, Micky exposed party

(10:11):
where they kind of put together you know what, Mickey,
she tells everybody a lot of different things. She she's
always throwing negative towards everybody, the person who isn't in
the room kind of a thing, and they kind of
put it together. It's like maybe Mickey is Mickey's only
playing for Mickey and she's really sewing a lot of
discourse out there. So yeah, we think Mickey needs to go.

(10:33):
All right, there's that, But then Rachel brought in and
maybe it wasn't Rachel eb somebody else did, but Rachel
ran with the whole. But first, if it's Mickey versus
so it was a this is why we should keep
Morgan over Mickey, which Morgan was in the room, but
it was you know, this is why, But it also
then it became a this is why we should keep
Mickey over Riley.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
We need to get rid of Riley.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
So if it comes down to Riley versus Mickey, Rachel
was pushed to get rid of Riley because this may
be our only chance because he's a big competitor and
he's really good and he's part of Showman's YadA YadA, YadA,
YadA YadA. Right, so that's going on, and I'm like, okay,
this sure seems like production leaned into Rachel and got
her to suddenly flip her script, which she would be

(11:17):
really good at.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
So Rachel has turned that.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
But then they are also talking about this group, this four,
but they talk about having a fifth person, so this
is a lou alliance. They want to have an alliance,
and who do they want to add to their alliance
and it's Vince, which some people were freaking out about.
They're like, don't bring in Vince.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Vince's he's not gonna be loyal. Vince kids stay loyal toothing.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
So the community was freaking out that they were bringing
in Vince, but they did bring in Vince. They brought
Vince into the room, brought Vince inside. We need to
get rid of Riley, and can we get rid of Riley?
And how can we work with the other house gets
to get rid of Riley, and Vince seemed to kind
of buy into it.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
But Vince eventually told Lauren about this group.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
I don't know if he told him that it was
an official alliance, but he did talk to her about
this meeting.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
That he had.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
So Vince is still now that right there. For those
of you that think of Vince's manipulating Lauren, Vince is
letting Lauren know about this stuff. So there's some loyalty
there that some of you need to give Vince some
credit for. He is being as much as some people
are like, oh, Vince's manipulating Lauren. Vince is sharing stuff
with Lauren, so he's got I mean, I don't know

(12:21):
if Vince has a true final two, and we'll get
to that in another second here, but he was being
fairly laurel loyal to Lauren at that point. But back
to this alliance. In the head of household room of
five people, they form an alliance. They name it the Judges,
although I saw this morning, I think Dolfica posted that

(12:41):
Rachel wants to rename it, but I didn't see a name,
a new name, So Rachel doesn't like the name of
the Judges.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
I don't know. But they formed this alliance, alliance called the.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Judges, and it seems to be that it's either gonna
be Mickey or Riley leaving on Thursday day. Now, Morgan's
a part of this alliance, so you would expect that
Morgan's name isn't going to be up there as an option.
But it seems to me that the order, at least
as of yesterday was Riley first, then Mickey as.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Far as evictions.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
But it's Wednesday and we have twenty we have more
than twenty four hours until tomorrow's show.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
So that's that's that alliance.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
And then they went downstairs and we're walking and all
that kind of stuff and talking to people. Matter of fact,
they dispersed to talk to various people, and Rachel went
to Keana to see if she could get in to
vote out Riley and about the showman's thing and saying
this is why show answers are bad. She used the
same arguments about how strong showmances are, and Keanu would

(13:44):
have none of it. He was just like, no, this
is why showmances are bad to have, and that's why
you want to keep him around. Because it was like, oh, man,
Keanu is just digs his heels in and even whatever
argument Rachel uses. Now understand Rachel trying to manipulate him.
I know that, and I you know, but Keiana wouldn't
even yield and and his arguments and why were not good.

(14:06):
Rachel had the better arguments, but Kiana just didn't want
to give in to him. So that was kind of funny.
But they need a They need a little bit more
in the votes to secure Riley going because the people
unless unless because Rachel had a household, so that's only
four votes in the room, and you have to have

(14:26):
Morgan not be on the block. But in theory theory, Mickey,
I don't know if think would Mickey vote out Morgan
over Riley. I'm not even sure at this point because
Mickey is I man, Mickey is just her. Her value
as a as a player has just gone down badly, badly,
badly badly the last few weeks since she took up,

(14:46):
since she used her power, she went to her head,
and she just she is just on a tear. So
I'm looking at my at my and my short quick
little list to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
No that I saw.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
We get to the part that I didn't see, which
this morning when I got up to catch up, what
I saw was there was a lot of late night
conversations going on the biggest one of the of them
being there was a whole dance sequence, which I will
share if I haven't already. I don't know if I
shared it or not. Which was who wasn't it wasn't.

(15:29):
This doesn't matter. Lauren Ashley Morgan and Ava doing like
a cheerleader thing about big Brother, like a cheerleading chant,
not a song, a chant. And yes, in the bathroom mirror.
We've seen it before with other casts other seasons. Well,
they did it this and they've done it earlier this
season too. But we haven't seen as much of the

(15:49):
dancing as we would like. Last season we saw tons
of choreographed dancing. Choreographed dancing, we haven't seen tons. We've
seen a bit. We saw more earlier in the day
yesterday too. But I digress. The biggest thing that happened
yesterday last night since I went to bed, that I
saw was an actual conversation, very long conversation, is which
the last conversation of the night between Rachel and Vince,

(16:11):
they finally bonded. It looks like because Vince has been very,
very very intimidated by Rachel, and it appears at least
last night that they bonded.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
They talked strategy.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
It really does seem like Vince is intimidated by Rachel
and has her maybe on a higher pedestal than anyone
else in the house, and that's why he hasn't been
able to interact with her well.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
But they talked.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
They talked about stuff besides Big Brother. They talked strategy
to but it seems like they did get closer and
they hugged at the end, and it seemed like, in
just a very from my view, a very superficial, quick
little view that even the people that were watching it,
the online folks, seem to be impressed at the relationship, like, oh,

(16:59):
this is kind of NICEA So that's a good thing,
I guess. I mean, if you want it, it's a
good thing possibly for Vince, unless Rachel's just you know,
luring him into her trap before she decides to discard him,
or voting about which totally.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Could be doing. I don't think Vince would do that,
as I don't know Vince could as well. It's it's
hard tell him. But they bonded a little bit, so
that's a good.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Thing for the for the relationship. That's been a tense,
tense relationship in the house where they seem to be kind.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Of at odds kind of. This was almost like.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
A Keanu Rachel thing. Rachel has has mended fences, Rachel
has managed to steal things. These are all people that
she wasn't close to at the beginning, but the people
be close to the beginning, you're a gone, right, So
she's got to forge new relationships, new alliances. There was
no final to discussed as far as I know, in
this thing at all. It wasn't that, but it just

(17:52):
seemed to be a working thing, like, well, we're in
an alliance now. They've been in an alliance other alliances
you know before, but they didn't work out very well.
So I don't know, this one might this one might
stand a chance to last more than a week.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
So that's that.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
That was the biggest thing that happened late late night
that I'm aware of was the Rachel Vince combo that
went till I think it was three forty five, which
would be yeah, almost almost three yeah, late late. Yeah,
I mean it's it's not much later than that right now.

(18:29):
So it's a it was it was because it's.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
That's what happened. There's your update. What's going on today?
Who knows, we'll have to see. I wouldn't anticipate.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
More of the same, as far as.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
I don't think there's any reason for the things that
happened yesterday to be disrupted messed up a you know,
I think there's still gonna be solidification of those of
those lines, those relationships. There's no ia unless Mickey somehow
disrupt stuff big. I don't and I don't see that happening,

(19:10):
So I I I would anticipate that the the work
to to kind of put a target on Riley will continue,
and uh, Mickey will continue to dig her to yourself
in a hole deeper than than she already is, and Morgan,
if she's smart, won't won't make her situation any worse.

(19:32):
So I anticipate tomorrow that I'm gonna tell you that
it still looks like it's most likely Riley first to
go if he's up, followed by Mickey.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
We'll see. And that's what I got, folks.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
That is the end of my little talk today. Hope
you're having a great week so far. Things are going
crazy for me, as I've mentioned, and they will continue
to be crazy for the next week or two. And
other than that, we'll talk to you guys tomorrow because
I don't anticipate something earth shattering happening today. And sorry

(20:14):
those of you that don't know, we'll we'll. As I
wrap this up, I'll explain I do this as I
drive to work most days, right, and most of my
drive is highway miles, but towards the end I get
into city driving, and city driving gets distracting because I'm
trying not to hit people.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I am doing this all hands free.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
By the way, please be aware, I have a wireless microphone.
I am not ninety nine percent of the time, I'm
not holding my phone or anything. I am totally wireless
and I'm not looking at my phone. I am driving
with eyes on the road at least one hand on
the wheel. It's a manual, so I have to take
it off occasionally, but I'm trying to be safe. But

(20:54):
when I get closer, I get a little bit distracted,
more so than even normal with the driving trying not
to hit people.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
And now I am I'm gonna stop. Like so look
at the phone. Twenty one minutes. Happy Wednesday. We'll talk
to you tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Be well, everybody, and thanks again for listening and for supporting.
And if you want to be a patron giving, I
need to give my patrons a shout out next week
or later this week positively, you can go to patreon
dot com, slash, bb g o s SIP. I have
been see this is where I'm still talking right, I'm

(21:33):
not shutting it off. I have been actively changing my
stuff from I was calling it car cast. I've decided
to now that there is no other my peers are
no longer talking about Big Brother. That being Scott and

(21:54):
collective decided to stop talking about Big Brother. I have
now decided that I'm going to just say Big Brother
gossip podcast. Uh you know, I'm throwing podcasts back.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Into the name. So I've been changing it in uh
in in different places. And so you
