Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning, Big Brother fans. It is Monday, August eleventh,
and I've had two false starts today so far because
I'm just having a hard time gathering my thoughts at scenes.
But it is day thirty five in the Big Brother House.
We have the Power of Veto meeting today. I talked

(00:23):
to you on Saturday night with an update. So most
of you already know who's been nominated, who won the
Power Veto, and at least partially what the punishments were
because it was the prize versus punishment awards. So but

(00:45):
let me give you a quick rerundown of that for
those of you that either didn't hear it or wants
the extra bits. We have Ava nominating Vince, Keanu and
Zach on Friday. That would apparently was shown on last
night's show. But let's give you a little inside info

(01:05):
from me personally. I didn't watch one Sunday show yet,
which often means I never watch it. But I didn't watch.
It wasn't in the mood for it, and we'll get
to why in another second here. So Ava nominated them.
Then they did the Power of Veto competition on Saturday,
which was won by Catherine Catherine and Will were the

(01:27):
extra players. It was the prize versus punishment, and I've
already said this again as well, we're gonna give you
the quick rundown. So's uh. Catherine won the won the
power of Veto Ava got five thousand dollars. Will got
a trip to England. Vincent has to wear an egg

(01:49):
costume probably for the rest of the week. Keanu is
having to be a butler with the with the key
on the butt, so he's got this attached to the
assist to her earnest that basically put the serving tray
on his posterior. And he asked to make pigs in
a blanket whenever big brother tells him to and serve them,

(02:11):
which is basically cress and rolls wrapped around hot dogs
or sausages or something. And then the last penalty, which
I didn't know about, I think when I talked to
you guys before, I wasn't sure about is Zach. Zach
had to pick someone to do a penalty with him.

(02:32):
And what was that penalty, Well, I don't exactly know.
It was a backyard penalty. It was an eight hour
backyard penalty, so he had to be in the backyard
for eight hours doing something, but I don't know if
we still know exactly what it was. They were covered
with blue stuff when they came in. But for the

(02:52):
first time ever, we as a live feed viewers, you
know those live feeds that are free and viewable twenty
four to seven, some of us paid for them through
Paramount Plus, were completely shut out of the backyard penalty
by a big Brother. They did not show us the
backyard even once that entire time, and there was a

(03:13):
large amount of time where most of the house guests
were in the backyard watching this. So you watched either nothing,
or you watched sleeping house guests, or you watched Will
cleaning up after the shower get I went to bed,
so I don't know, And then that kind of really
soured me Saturday night, and then Sunday yesterday, I was
just kind of like, you know what, I'm kind of

(03:35):
and I'm not done. Obviously I can't quit the damn show,
but I just was kind of like, I don't I
don't know if I'm going to invest my time today
in catching up. And as it turned out, they would
block the feeds yesterday anytime they talked about the backyard
penalty whatever it was. So I'm not sure if we
have ever heard exactly what Zach and Rachel had to

(03:56):
do for eight hours together. But they do something and
we'll see it on Wednesday, show in maybe five to
ten minute segment and that'll be it. So they cut
potentially eight hours are worth of us watching stuff which
the online community would is in the past. Is got
a blast with that, counting down, keeping track, checking in,

(04:18):
all that kind of stuff, and it was all taken
away from us. And all that says is it's kind
of just one more, one more thing that we don't get.
I don't think this means like next year they'll go, oh,
we didn't show it last year, we'll show it this year.
Maybe they will. But to me, once you lose something,
you generally don't get it back. When it comes to
the Big Brother live feeds, we have cone from and

(04:39):
I speak from someone who's seen them from the beginning
where we saw everything to oh, you don't get to
watch certain competitions anymore. Oh you don't get to watch
you know, you can still watch the food competition. No,
you can't watch the food competitions anymore. Oh you don't
get you know, Anyways, I digress, and this is why
the yesterday, Ah, it's one more thing, and I don't

(05:02):
need to watch all this stuff because I know that
we have the Paraveno meeting today on Monday. So what
is going on with that? Well, it seems like AVA
was very much to Catherine. I don't care what you
do if you want to use it, and Catherine's very
much like, I don't know why I should use it.
There's no big advantage to me using it, and it

(05:23):
can just cause more problems, so I think I'm not
going to use it. That's where it stood as far
as I know. And Zach was doing some heavy lobbying.
Keanu was trying to get Catherine to use it on Vince.
Keanu just wants him to use it on someone, and uh,
I don't think Katherine's gonna use it. Now. The question

(05:46):
is is Zach going to use his special power? And
I don't know. I think he will. I think production
wants him to badly, but it's gonna it's ten thousand
dollars coming out of his pocket, right, so he's got
a weigh that this is ten thousand dollars. This is
let's say it's roughly three works of three weeks worth
of time in the house, right, because they do get

(06:06):
a stipend for being on the show in the house,
So if he gives it that ten thousand dollars, he's
basically set himself back three weeks. If he wants to say,
I'm not gonna win it, so I'm just getting my stipend,
you know, to cover my costs and stuff. I'm giving
up ten thousand dollars to potentially to stay for one
extra week, but I gotta stay for two more weeks

(06:27):
just to make it back, and he still would have
He's not gonna get that ten thousand dollars back, so
he's still lost ten thousand dollars. So just to break even,
he has to stay in the house for three more
weeks once he uses his power of veto, and then
by then he may make jury. I don't know what
the jury. We don't know exactly if it's a seven
person or a nine person jury, so we don't know
how far they have to go to make jury. So

(06:49):
those are all the things that Zach has to weigh out.
But in the end, we know production wants everybody to
use their powers because that's why they give him to him,
you know, and so he'll probably use his power today
and forcing Ava to renominate or to nominate someone new,
and that will ninety nine Morgan. She'll probably be blindsided

(07:12):
by it, so I but I think she'll have to
do it right then and there, which is all the
more reasons she'll do Morgan, even though she had talked
about potentially other people. I think she'll do Morgan. So
that'll happen, and the feeds will come back to a
bit of reaction to that, whenever they come back from

(07:33):
the power of veto meeting. What else? What else? What else?
What else? I'm thinking here we got Ava got a
little bit teary eyed last night, the pressure of being
had a household. I did, as I mentioned, I did
not watch the show, but one of the big buzzes
online after the show aired was the fact that Ava

(07:55):
had prepared these big, elaborate speeches, some of which, like
the one specifically about Zach, really upset Zach because she's like,
you told me I was safe, and you give a big,
huge speech explaining why you're dominating me now, and so
she was. He was upset and it kind of got
to her last night and she's kind of teary eyed,
and Rachel's giving her a pep talk. Meanwhile, again, didn't

(08:20):
watch the show, but CBS did not show those speeches.
So she worked really hard on these speeches and then
they didn't get shown. I mean, I don't know, what
do you do. It's just it's just the way it goes.
Those kind of things happen. I'm not that bothered that
they didn't get shown. It would have been interesting, but
there's lots of things that don't get shown. The moment

(08:41):
where Jimmy got nominated and Vincent was talking to him
and Rachel walked in and she she you know, Rachel
kind of looked at Vincent would disgust, like I don't
need to hug you or I don't need to talk
to you or whatever. That was a total moment that
was such a TV moment, and it did not get

(09:03):
the air, I think partially because there was no camera
on Vincent's face when it happened. So there are lots
of things that happen on the live feeds that never
make the air, as we've talked, which is one of
the reasons this show is one of the charms. If
it could be called a charm of Big Brother in
the US is the fact that we get to see
a lot of stuff that never ever sees the light,
would have seen the light of day if we hadn't

(09:23):
seen it. And so every time they take away these
little bits and pieces from us, we get, you know,
it gets because like that, somehow Riley got hit in
the face with something last while Zach and Rachel were
doing the penalty. We didn't get to see what it was.
We didn't see what happened. We didn't We may not

(09:44):
still have it. The feeds have been on because you know,
they've got to be showing us that particular thing, but
we will never know because we didn't get to see
it unless they show it on the TV show again
on Wednesday night. But I don't know. I went through
my little thing yesterday where I kind of thought, I'm
just not gonna get too hung up on the live

(10:05):
feats today and I'm just gonna do my do my
own stuff, get my work done that I need to
get done around the house, and just check it occasionally,
which I did. But I'll be fine. I will quote
get over it and move on. But I just want to,
you know, just a little bit of venting here. So
that's what's up. That's what's going on. I thought I

(10:26):
would go down a real quick list of the house guests.
I don't know if I I can try really quick.
I've got about two minutes here to go through what's
going on in the house. The big players this week,
as it were, obviously Ave as the head household. Has

(10:49):
she heard her helped her game this week? I'm not sure.
I am not sure, but obviously she's also safe. Ashley
is safe, will we is safe. Catherine has that power
of veto, so she's safe. Keanu, I don't know. I

(11:10):
don't know who's gonna go between if it ends up
down to you know, right now, I'm not sure. I
think Vincent may be in the most danger. But in theory,
the argument was that it was gonna be Keanu. But
I'm not sure. I think Vincent's and I'm not saying
this like I'm the only one saying this. I think
Vincent is in some serious potential trouble. Keanu has built

(11:33):
up some relationships, and so I can see Keanus staying.
Kelly is safe. Lauren was a potential renown, but that's
not happened. There was a moment yesterday, By the way,
where was it Ashley said that someone said Ashley told Zach.

(11:54):
I think that she heard that he was campaigning against her,
and she wouldn't say who told her or how she
heard it. Anyways, it kind of put it a little
spook in Zach. And that's a side note because I
didn't get to Zach. But Zach should be safe after today.

(12:15):
That'll put Morgan up in Zach's place. I could see
Morgan potentially going I don't know yet. I will have
to see what the feelings are after the power of ETO,
because Morgan will definitely spiral more than she's already spiraling
once she's on the block. Micky is safe. Micky has

(12:36):
done a lot of damage to herself last week. I
don't know how super safe she is, but she's safe
this week. Riley completely safe. There's some cracks between him
and Catherine, but it's nothing that you know is gonna
is gonna completely screw things up. So I don't see

(12:57):
anything changing there in the in the near term, they're
good for a few more weeks. Mince in trouble. Rachel's safe.
Rachel is doing and holding her own at the moment,
so I don't know if Rachel's gonna win it. I
think she can very well beat making it to the
final two. As I said, I think it was a

(13:17):
dingo hamster watch who put a picture of all the
times that there's been like at least one house guest
return and the alumni has made I'm sorry, has made
the final two or one of the alumni has made
the final two. So yeah, Rachel's on track. She's still
doing okay so far. She's seen as that you know,

(13:39):
oh no, we won't vote for her in the end,
so let's just keep her around. Yep, she's still around,
still okay. So there's that going on. And with that, folks,
I'm gonna sign off, get this uploaded as quick as
I can. Hope you have a wonderful Monday, and hopefully
the fireworks or whatever happens after the para veto will

(14:00):
kind of reinvigorate me to get back online and check
things out today and keep you up to date and
have a little bit more enthusiastic update tomorrow. But we're
doing okay, and thank you for your support, and we
will talk to you all on Tuesday. See you later, guys.
Bye bye.
