Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good afternoon, Big Brother fans. It is still Monday, August eighteenth,
and it is day forty two in the Big Brother House.
It's been pointed out by a few people that we
are just crossing what is probably the halfway point of
Big Brother twenty seven, as I think it's eighty three

(00:24):
days an estimate, So we just crossed over. Tomorrow will
be day forty three, and so we had the power
veto meeting today, and that's why I'm doing this very
quick little update to let you know what happened, because
it didn't go as I would have expected, and so

(00:44):
it's we're talking about for half a second. When the
house GISs got up this morning, there was chatter, there
was talk, There was all kinds of stuff going on.
I said this morning that Rachel had announced that she
was going to talk Lauren out of using the power
of veto before the meeting. Well, the feeds went down

(01:11):
right at well not at a time. When the feeds
went down, Lauren was in the bathroom when they had
a household bathroom with Rachel and they were talking. And
I don't think at that point that Rachel had necessarily

(01:32):
indicated who she might put up if Lauren used it,
and so we weren't sure if Lauren was gonna talk
or if Rachel was going to talk Lauren out of
using it. I know that there was speculation online in
the chatter. We'd seen Kelly as an option, we'd seen
Catherine even mentioned as an option, and of course some
people wanted Riley to go up because there's a massive,

(01:54):
you know, surge of fans that would like to see
Riley out of the house. I don't think or I
don't I didn't think that if Riley goes up on
the block that he would get voted out on Thursday.
But she never know. So the fees went down, as
I said, with Lauren in the bathroom with Rachel talking,
you know, Rachel knows that Lauren wants to use it

(02:15):
or was talking about using it on Vinnie. By the way,
that was the assumption that was going to be on Vinnie.
So feeds come back from the Power of ETO meeting
this afternoon, and whoa. Lauren did indeed use the power
of veto to save Vinnie, and Rachel blindsided a good
portion of the house and the fandom. I think by

(02:39):
putting up Riley. I am still not one hundred percent
sure with what her rationale was, but she did it.
I'll know more tonight when I get a chance to
go back and review some stuff and watch some current talking,
because Riley's quite upset. But she talking to Keanu, she claimed,

(03:00):
and I should say this what she told to Keanu. Now,
I'm not one hundred percent sure this is accurate. We
have to figure this out. Is that immediately after she
only had a household on Friday, that talking to Riley
in the have not room, Riley said that he would
suggest going after or that he would go after Keanu.

(03:22):
That's that's what Rachel is telling Keanu, and that's why
she put him up, because she's saying, I'm loyal to you, Keanu,
and Riley said he was coming after you. So he
seemed like, you know, a good person to put up there.
He said, I would not wasn't gonna put up Kelly
because you said you don't want Kelly up, and I'm
not gonna put you up. He was kind of going
through the different list. So this is why she claims

(03:43):
that she put up Riley. Riley has vehemently denied to
Keanu that he'd thrown his name out there that's why
I'm not sure, and I do not know if we
had the feeds at the time that this conversation supposedly
took place. If it did the indeed take place, maybe
we'll see on Wednesday Night show. Oh man, we won't see.

(04:03):
See this is a problem Wednesday Night Show. I don't know.
If I don't know, if we'll get the post Power
of Veto fallout, Well, we'll see. So that's what's going on.
I am going to dig into this deeper tonight. I
just got home. It was, like I said, just a
short little podcast because I wanted to let you know
that something happened, but I didn't want to spend too

(04:23):
much time on it. So we'll talk more tomorrow morning
with more information details on what we find out. It's
going to be interesting. Riley being on the block is uh,
it should be interesting as far as I mean, it's
not like he has been on the block before, right,

(04:44):
Yes he has, But I'm just thinking as far as
his demeanor, right is going to be tested. It's it's oh,
he's nominated, right, and then he won the Power of Veto.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry if you all know this, but
I'm thinking I'm thinking I was pretty sure he'd been
on the block before, but it wasn't for very long.

(05:07):
And you know, he was charged with I need you
to win it, and he did, so it's more of
the he's gonna sit there until Thursday night show now
and we'll have to see how it goes. I'll talk
more about it tomorrow. We'll have more information and follow up.
We've got lots to talk about. So hope you're all well.
Hope you had a good Thursday or Thursday. I hope

(05:27):
you had a good Monday. I wish it was Thursday.
And we'll talk to you all Tuesday. Take care of everybody. Bye,
