Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning, Big Brother fans.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
It is Tuesday, August fifth day, twenty nine, and we
have Power of Veto meeting results to talk about, and
I'm not gonna be able to cover everything that's going
on in that house, it seems, and kind of guessed
it might be that way with how we thought the
Power of Veto was gonna go. The house guts actually
(00:24):
got woke up earlier than normal, a little bit earlier,
and they well, not that they got woke up, woken
up early normal. They went to the Power of Veto
meeting earlier than expected. The cameras went down. We thought,
why is it going down so early, because usually you
have a couple of hours while they get ready and
you watch the had a household debate, but nope, they
(00:45):
got right to it. We thought they might be doing
this thing that's part of Unblocked, which is a.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Good thing that we voted on.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
They had voting for a week that I don't even
know if I talked about where they're gonna dump it
sounds like a Nickelodeon dumping stuff on someone's head. And
they're gonna do this at some point, at least we
don't think they've done it yet. Because they haven't been
talking about it. The highest vote getter is going to
get quote good and it's gonna be showed on Friday's episode. Again,
(01:14):
hasn't seemed to have happened yet because they haven't talked
about it. If it did, and so we thought maybe
that's why the feeds went down early yesterday, was to
do that, but no, it was for the or for
the power of veto meeting. When it came back, Jimmy
was indeed on the block, so Keanu saved himself. Jimmy
is now nominated, So we have Riley, not Riley, Yes,
(01:35):
Riley Kelly and now Jimmy, So it's a little.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Bit different pictures paces up on that wall.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Kelly's still there, but Riley and Jimmy are new faces
for the week, and uh yeah, one of them is
going to be out of the house on Thursday. That's
gonna be a bit of a i'd say, a seismic
shift in the way the house feels.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I don't. I don't think Adrian was contributing that much.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Uh, nor Amy and Zay hadn't been in there long
enough really, even though they say they, you know, things
would be so different if Zay was in the house,
but I still think that he he wasn't contributing quite
that much. And now I have lost my cast list
onto the floor and I can't reach it while I drive.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
So it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
I know the cast pretty well by now. So Jimmy's
on the block. He kind of suspected it last Monday night,
I think, or Sunday night. I think I may have
said it that he was kind of thinking he was
getting suspicious. He claims to some that he was blindsided,
but I I mean, maybe it's just the shock of
it actually settling in. He was getting paranoid Sunday night though,
(02:49):
And so yeah, he's on the block. I think it
was Mickey that said to him, you know, no hard feelings.
I'm taking the personal out of it. This is a
about gameplay, and you weren't being you know, he was
in a three person alliance with Morgan and Mickey, and
they kept feeling like he wasn't being as giving with
(03:10):
his information. Now, Micky and Jimmy were hanging out quite
a bit, but Morgan was saying, I can never talk
to you guys.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
If I remember right.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
But either way, look, this this all came about in
part because of Keanu them talking to Keanu on Saturday
after he won the Power of Meto and telling Keanu,
you know, Jimmy is the one who's been bad bouthing
you to us and saying that you're saying all this stuff,
and Keanu's like, well, you know, he's basically playing both sides,
(03:40):
and so that was part of it. And they just
know that how hard Jimmy's been playing, and uh so you.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Know he's up. We'll see if he goes out. I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Kelly, Kelly Mickey has again maintained that she wants reality
to be safe. She wants Kelly to be safe. So
in theory she wants Jimmy out. But guess what, Mickey
don't get a vote. And Mickey has been quite having
quite the dose of h O h itis, it seems
to me and others. I think, over the last couple
(04:15):
few days, she is very confident in her decisions and
what she's doing, and she and Morgan have been we
talk about an echo blue sky being an echo chamber. Well,
the head of household head a household room has been
an echo chamber, has been an echo chamber. The last
couple of days, it seems with Morgan and Mickey up
(04:35):
there talking about things and about alliances and about how
things are gonna work, and they're already planning weeks in advance,
and it's like, guys, just not how Big Brother works.
You're gonna be in for a shock when it doesn't
go your way. I I don't know, We'll see it's
gonna it's fun. Hey, look, it is fun. The feeds
have not been boring, And the worst about the feeds
(04:58):
has been how much they've been cut, cutting them away,
and we've been missing conversations and stuff. We've missed all
kinds of dramatic moments. It sounds like, uh.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I posted a clip.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yesterday where Rachel came up and said that she who
is she in.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
A fight with? Was Rachel to fight with?
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Keanu and Mickey and Morgan had been a been a
in a half of.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Them in a fight with Jimmy.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Maybe I don't I don't know the I posted the clip,
I like I say it just it wasn't something major fights,
But it sounded like, you know, snarky words being said,
but we didn't get to see some of it.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
We had. I did see Ashley.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Morgan kind of lecturing Ashley saying, you know you would
have you were Jimmy's third number three nominee, and you
know that's just just and Ashley relaying that to Jimmy
later on, it's it's been it's been interesting. Jimmy has
taken it very well. He did break down soon afterwards,
(06:03):
but he's picked himself up and he said there's no
point in making a big explosive deal out of it
because that won't get you anywhere. And so he's been
more talking with people. He and Kelly had a long
talk last night where they pretty much said to each other, well,
the odds are pretty good that one of us isn't
gonna be here after Thursday night, and so they did
a little bit. I didn't pay close attention, but I
(06:25):
know they were doing a little bit of information exchange, like, well,
you know, if one of us isn't here, then here's
the information I have. Now. It could lead to an
alliance of some sort in that if both of them
end up being there, if somehow Riley ends up going out,
then they could be together.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
But I don't think Riley's going out. Riley is just man.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
The guy's got some magical powder on him or some
magical coding that's keeping him protected for now. The house
guests all feel that he's just you know, super Now
he's really really not liked outside of the house, but
at least on at least on the Blue Sky, and
I think on others some other online communities are just
(07:07):
his His infamy is growing as far as you know,
just people just don't like him, don't like the way
he's hanging on Catherine. He seems to be pressuring Catherine
to to share the same bed. Not I don't mean,
I'm sure he would want to be in a minute,
but he just is asking to sleep in the same
bed with her, and she's kind of saying no, no, no,
(07:28):
And he's wanting a kiss and she's saying no, no, no,
but she's still giving him the time of day, right,
So it's it's kind of one of those when you
see it, you're kind of like, ah, she's saying no,
stop it, but he's not stopping it. But that house
does really weird things to you. It makes things very intense.
(07:48):
And I think if you told Catherine the first day
that she moved to the house that you're going to
be somewhat romantically linked with with Riley in three weeks,
she would have just been like, no way is that happening.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
But here we are.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
So we've got all day to day, all day tomorrow
for more stuff to happen. And I think more stuff
is gonna happen. I don't think they're gonna settle in
as I said morgana Micky, did I say Morgan was
at a house? Either way, Micky, they're they're they're They're
almost interchangeable in some ways except for uh, Morgan is
closer to Vince, which is why Vince is not on
(08:30):
the block. But Micky, she's think she's got it all
figured out. And then the fandom has been it's been
interesting to watch the online fandom because I don't you know,
I always say don't have a favorite, and I really
don't have a favorite, uh this year. I mean, I've
liked certain players and I've kind of rooted for them
(08:51):
in some ways, and there are certain players that I've
been like, I don't want to see them go for
but I'm not like this is my favorite. You know,
if this person goes out, I'm not gonna I'm gonna
lose interest in the season, not at all. It's more
if I had people And I'm like, ah, and I've
said it before, but I'll say.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
It briefly here.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Rachel is one of those ones that I'm like, I
wish she was never in the house because I think
it's changed the complete dynamics of the house. It certainly
is interesting today this week. It's interesting because she's having
to hustle. She had Amy as a close contact and
she lost him, and now she's kind of had Jimmy
is a close contact and she's potentially gonna lose him.
(09:32):
She's kind of pulled an ava. She's working to try
to pull people in, but her luck has been poor.
There was a moment that I'm hoping we'll get to
see on the TV show because we didn't get all
the camera angles. I was hoping we would And it
was after the Power of Eto meeting. Jimmy was talking
with Vincent Vinnie in the have Not room and having
(09:57):
a conversation and Rachel came in to check on Jimmy
and she's like, how are you doing? And she gave
him a hug and Vinnie tried to in this awkward
moment because Rachel doesn't like Vinnie, Vinnie tried to said, yeah,
we're just talking about, you know, relationships and managing things,
and I haven't been as good as I should be
with it. And you know, Rachel just you can just
(10:20):
tell she just couldn't care. She could not care less
what Vinnie was saying. And she's and I don't remember
how it came up exactly now, but she's just like,
I don't need to talk to you. It was like
she's like to Vinnie. I think I think she said
to Jimmy, I'll talk to you later, and Vinnie she's like,
I don't need to talk to you. It was awkward,
and she left, and then Jimmy and Vinnie sat an
(10:45):
awkward silence for half a beat, and then Vinnie's like, yeah,
I just sometimes you just need to let people have
their space. And I just thought it just it was
it was a quote office moment in my world where
I can't even think of his name, the lead character.
You know, he says something. It's just a totally awkward moment,
(11:05):
and he says something that just shows how clue as
he is. I don't know if Vinnie's necessarily clueless. He
just didn't know what to say, so that's what he said.
But hopefully it'll make TV because it was awkward and
we couldn't see Vinnie's face as he said it, and
I wanted to see his face to see how he
took that shunning by Rachel. So back to Rachel, it's
(11:28):
just her. She seems very intent on trying to produce
the show. She's involved in reality TV casting right, Plus
she's done multiple reality TV shows since Big Brother, and
it feels like she's a producer in the house, trying
to get reactions out of house guests, trying to get interviews,
trying to make people get emotional, trying to create those
(11:48):
moments in the house knowing that they get on TV.
And I just, I just I'm annoyed with it. I'm
like that, it just doesn't feel like it's happening organically.
It feels manufactured, and I don't like that. So well,
that's my that's my Rachel thought. But otherwise, look, the houses,
the house is rocking, there's all kinds of stuff going on.
(12:09):
It should be interesting for the next two days, and
so I'm okay with everything. It's it's amazing how some
of the fandom has turned on their favorites. You know,
They've had people they've rooted for it, and they're like,
I'm not rooting for them anymore. I don't want them
to do well. I want them out of the house.
I want them nominated.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
And it's like, well, who are you going to root for?
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Then it seems almost like the people that aren't being
rooted for are the ones that haven't had a chance
at power. And so maybe we need Rachel has had
a household to see how her head a household goes
compared to these other folks. Now it's possible that now
that Morgan and Mickey have alienated a lot of the
fandom with Mickey's had a household, that Rachel being and
(12:53):
had a household, maybe.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Just like, yes, now give them what for?
Speaker 2 (12:56):
And so she may be able to get away with
being just as uh, you know, it's just as big headed,
just as as you know, overboard as Mickey has been
has had a household. But she'll get away with it
because people are gonna have their lasting impressions from the
previous week where they got upset and bothered with.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Mickey and Morgan. So we'll see it's a lot going on.
Feeds are great, certainly not boring.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
If they could keep them on and didn't keep switching
them off because they seem to be just cutting us
away a lot, but we get the sense of what's
going on. And again, we got two more days before
an actual eviction, so a lot, a lot, a lot
could change right now. I have no idea who's going.
I think Riley's safe, and I don't know what Riley
(13:43):
could possibly do to put himself in peril. But it
may not be something he does. It may be something
that the other house guests do as they start to
navigate and go, like, you know what I got. I
got more with Kelly, I got more with Jimmy. Riley's
not giving me anything, so I hate, I hate he's
got to go. Oh but Roley's got to go. I
don't think that's gonna happen. I really think unless it's
(14:05):
it's like previous weeks, Riley stays no matter what, and
Jimmy or Kelly go, depending between Jimmy and Kelly. Right now,
I have no idea who goes between Jimmy and Kelly.
I think it's still up in the air right now.
I don't think it's been decided. So yeah, that's good.
Things Being not locked down is always is always uh,
(14:26):
frustrating in some ways, but fun in the other ways.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
It makes for good feeds.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
So we'll carry on, and uh, I'll get my my
big brother mind back organized. I felt a bit discombobulated
and disorganized yesterday, and I'm feeling a little bit more
coordinated and in line today, and maybe by tomorrow I'll
have it all figured out right, all right, take care everybody.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
We'll talk to you guys tomorrow. Be well. Bye bye
