Chema nos explica en qué consiste realmente el Alzheimer, qué ocurre en el cerebro humano cuando esta enfermedad se empieza a desarrollar. ¿Cómo se está investigando este proceso? ¿Somos capaces de diagnosticarlo con exactitud? ¿Qué señales podrían ayudarnos a buscar una cura o un freno a su proceso degenerativo? ¿Podríamos prevenirlo? ¿Cómo es el futuro de la investigación contra el Alzheimer y cómo está ayudando la tecnología en este campo?
Sergio Cordero nos habla de la labor de empresas como Intel en este campo y su proyecto de ayuda a la investigación a través del uso voluntario de los ordenadores de cientos de miles de personas, y Jesús Callejo se plantea por qué la música puede ser un campo de ayuda para los pacientes con Alzheimer avanzado.
