The views expressed in the following programare those of the participants and do not

(00:21):
hello and welcome to the Mindset Mentor. I'm Tanya Kohlar, helping you cultivate
a life you love. You know, one of the things I think that
so many of us have our questions. We want answers. We want answers
to life's greatest questions, and weneed some direction. So on today's show,

(00:41):
we're going to focus on manifestation andmagic and helping you get the answers
to your greatest questions. I havemy expert on the show today. Her
name is Lawn. She is asacred geometry artist and an intuitive guide.
So she's going to guide us inthe right pla direction. Really excited to

(01:02):
talk about her latest brand new Oraclecards. It's the Merlin. She'll tell
you all about it. Really cool. She also has a great book that
also, you know, gives youthat guidance that you need. It's the
same title. So how about wesay hello and welcome to Lawn. Lawn.

(01:22):
It's such a pleasure having you hereon the Mindset Mentor today. I
am so excited to be here.Thank you so much for inviting me.
Well, this is great because Ithink, you know, there's been a
huge chef first of all, inyou know, I would believe human consciousness
right in humanity in itself, andthere is a rise in spirituality, and

(01:44):
I think that's beautiful because it's thatcollective consciousness that we are all raising the
vibration. The planet is changing andI think more people are now interested in
things like manifestation and mad and sacredgeometry. But not only that they're interested
in that lone, it's it's moreof how can they utilize that as tools?

(02:08):
So I would love to talk aboutyou know, let's start with your
your your latest oracle deck of cardsand what they are. First of all,
what are oracle cards? For thosehearing that for the very gay time?
Yes, okay, how fun?Okay, Yes, my my oracle

(02:29):
deck actually came out yesterday, Sothis is amazing to be on this show
today. It's called the modern MerlingMagic and Manifestation Oracle deck and oracle cards
are I think we all know itfrom the olden days, like the Greeks
where they had the Oracle of Delphi. Right, people have always found ways

(02:52):
and have been interested in finding waysto communicate with the divine. We always
want answers, just like we weresaying, like we want guidance. We
want to figure out how the biggerpicture, how we fit in that bigger
picture, how we are connected tothat bigger picture, and how to navigate
everything. So we've always been searchingto how to figure out how to make

(03:14):
that communication happen. So we usedto go to people that were called oracles
that would give us answers. Theyhad They had an exceptional ability to tap
into those solo realms of the divinityor God or the universe and whatever you
want to call that and come backwith feedback if we ask them a question.

(03:35):
And over time we have made thingslike oracle decks that are usually just
a stack of cards that have thatare connected to little messages and we use
them intuitive there is It's like, especially with oracle cards, the way I
make them. All my cards arealways based on big concepts that are at

(04:00):
the foundation of our human experience, you know, concepts like health and love
and intimacy and magic and transcendence,Like what do these words mean and how
can we use them? So ifyou draw a card and you get that
concept. Then I in my deck, I will talk about that concept,

(04:21):
like what it means, how wecan apply it, and I also will
ask questions like, for instance, the one did you see behind me is
part of the deck and it's calledTranscendence. It's beautiful. Yeah. And
by the way, for those whoare listening, you can watch a copy
of the of the show on myYouTube channel. And if you would like

(04:44):
to get a copy of Lawns ModernMerlin dek how could they get that loan?
Oh, there's different places. Amazonis always a really easy place to
order it. You can get itthrough my publisher, which is Beyond Words
Published. I think it's on It'sin all the normal channels. It's in
Barns and Nobles, it's Indigos.I think it's in a lot of different

(05:08):
places. Okay, awesome. Ijust wanted to make sure because it's such
a beautiful design. I want tomake sure that everyone gets a chance to
have a look at that. Okay, all right, we're excited. Go
ahead. Okay, So for instance, like, let's just stay with the
one that I have behind me hanginghere, because it's in the deck as
well. It's the and it's calledtranscendence, and the message with it is
to rise above Like what does theword transcendence mean. Transcendence is like when

(05:31):
we take an idea, or wetake a thought, or we're in a
situation and we find where those edgesare, like the things that we have
resistance to, the things that arechallenging us, the things that we don't
understand about it, the things thatwe want to change about it, and
we rise above it. We findthose ways, we find those solutions.
We can transcend a situation from beingonly devastating and challenging into finding I call

(05:57):
it almost like doorways to solutions ordoor ways to a new perspective so that
we can work with it. Sothe way I see that, like if
you get that card and you're askingyourself a question like for the day,
for instance, like what do Ineed to focus on or what do I
need to hear or what would serveme to think a little bit more about
And if you would get the work, if you would get the card transcendence,

(06:20):
that would be the invitation to say, like how can you take the
current situation what you're in, andhow can you transcend that to the next
level, like how does this fitin the bigger picture? Like what is
the things that is offering you? What are those challenges that you can rise
above or that you can work withso that you can learn from it so

(06:42):
that you don't have to repeat thesame things again. Yeah, it's kind
of like, oh, it makesa lot of sense. Absolutely. I'm
thinking it's like, you know, help me just stimulate the thought process of
what else is possible? Because wecan get very fixed right in our own
belief system and our just own wayof being, our day to day living
that you know, sometimes you know, we don't see that there is another

(07:05):
option because we're just really fixed inthat mindset. But if we can transcend
that, there are new opportunities.Uh, there's new beauty that awaits for
us. And I think that's prettyfascinating. And you know, I look
at my own life too, andin the challenges you talked about the challenges,
right, I mean, there's suchbeautiful lessons and blessings in those greatest

(07:28):
challenges. But you know what it'sabout that perspective, changing the perspective changing
and transcending the current state of beingor the current mindset to find something that
can propel you forward. You know, I think life is constantly providing us
opportunities to evolve for the greater goodof ourselves. But I think as humans,

(07:51):
we generally don't love to have changein our lives, and we resist
that change. So I think thisis a really great sort of a way
to get those reminders through the day. You grab your oracle dag, you
pick a card for the day,and then it gives you the inspiration,
I think to move forward and againand stimulating maybe a different thought process,

(08:13):
right, right, And it's andit's so interesting that you say that because
we all resist change and at thesame time, most of our growth and
evolution comes usually through change. Becauseif nothing would ever change, and we
would stay in a status quo situation, then why would anything ever We wouldn't

(08:33):
grow anymore, Right, Why wouldyou try to change anything? If you're
happy where you're at then So it'sit's part of life. Yeah. So,
and it's funny that you said aboutperspective because that's my tagline on my
website. I say that as well. Like my work, my secle geometry
work, what I do is mostlyfor I always say, like, change

(08:56):
your perspective, change your life.Yes, Yes, because often it's not
our external circumstances that determine how wefeel. It's like the way we look
at things, right, we canchange the way we understand the situation or
look at something, and that willchange the way we feel. Yeah.
And oftentimes we pick up those youknow, beliefs, those the perspective that

(09:18):
we have, you know, throughour patterning, right and through our upbringing,
and we kind of adopt other people'spatterns. And it's kind of a
nice, nice opportunity to say,you know what, maybe it's time for
you know, us to shed someof those patterns and those beliefs that no
longer serve us and to move forwardin a very powerful way and an empowering
way. So I think this isfun to be able to have this conversation

(09:43):
and to let people have the toolsthat they can access themselves. You don't
need to go to the mysterious oracle, you know, and try and track
uh, you know, pilgrimage tofind the answers. You can find the
answers simply by tapping in a tuningin and experiencing, you know, whether
it's reading your your book as Iknow that your modern the modern Merlin Oracle.

(10:09):
Deck of Cards was inspired and camefrom the Modern Merlin book, which
is amazing exact. Yeah, sotell us a little bit about the inspiration
for the book and why you decidedto create this for everyone. I think
I grew up in it. I'mDutch. I grew up in Holland,
and I grew up in a culturethat was very, very down to earth.

(10:33):
We are in Holland, we arelike just say it as it did,
very direct, very down to earthand no nonsense, very practical.
And I was one of those childrenthat I saw all the subtleties. I
was so attuned, even as aas a very young child, to the
subtle layers that I could pick upon the energies that were going on.
But there was no vocabulary around it. There was no how do you say

(10:58):
that, There was no belief systemthat was supporting that, so nobody talked
to me about what was happening. So I felt very I felt very different.
I felt very scared. A lotof times I picked up an enormous
amount of feelings and energies from otherpeople and other surroundings and thought they were
my own. So I was sicka lot and it took me way until

(11:24):
my in my thirties to discover thatthere's a name for it, and that
I am not crazy, and thatit's called intuition, and that it's called
just being extra sensitive, or somepeople call it psychic, but I'd like
to call it intuitive. So allof that made me realize that there is

(11:45):
so much more to life than whatwe're taught and what we are teaching our
children, and what our educational systemis telling us, and even how our
health system is approaching our state ofwellness, our state of disease or health.
And I started, I started makingthese mandala based these six geometry based

(12:09):
mandalas that I based on concepts, because I figured, if I can express
a concept like healing or transcendence orintimacy, or you name it, like
value or vision, if I canexpress that in a language that we automatically
understand, then something happens inside ofus. It goes beyond our thinking mind.

(12:33):
So a couple of years into that, I created an oracle deck,
my first oracle deck, and Istarted working with people and I create personal
soul portraits for people as well.So this one that you see behind me
is actually based on somebody's soul onsomebody's energy. Oh wow, Oh that's
super interesting. I love it well, you know, and it's kind of

(12:56):
like, you know, a whirlwindof color. It's a beautiful array,
and you know it's interesting that that'sI mean, because we're so multi dimensional.
So I feel like your art sortof really represents that in the layers
and the color palette right right. The way I see is that we all
come to this earth carrying certain attributesin our soul, in our essence that

(13:18):
we are here to expand upon, but also to share with others. And
what your superpower is in that realmis different than what my superpower is,
right, So if you would expressthat in a color, or in a
shape or in something that you seebehind me, then yours would look very
different than mine. So that's whatI do. I tune into people.

(13:39):
I figure out what they're about.I always give it a word, and
then I write about it as well, so I get a lot of information
I give people were reading. Ialso explain, like why is it green,
why is it why is it orangein the middle, Why does it
have four circles or six circles orsomething like that. So at some point,

(14:03):
so many people were asking me aboutit that I realized, like,
I got to start talking about howthis all works in how I see it,
And that's why I started writing thebook. That's why I wrote Modern
Merlin, because I really feel thatwe are all modern magicians, and we
are, just like you said, waking up to the realization that we all

(14:26):
can be that magician at the coreof our own lives and realizing how much
we actually are in control of whathappens in our lives and what happens in
how we feel about it, whichis very contrary to what we've been taught.
Right, We've been taught that theexternal world determines everything and we're kind

(14:48):
of moving with whatever happens around us. And now it turns out that everything
is energy and that we with ourthoughts and our feelings and our dreams and
our hopes and our visions, allof that has an enormous influence on what
manifests in our lives. Yeah, and I would you know, even go

(15:11):
and add to that in terms ofyou know, that frequency and that energy
that we think about and we talkabout and that we experience is collective,
right, so it goes beyond ourlife to the collective humanity, and I
think sometimes that's why we're seeing someof the things that we're seeing. It's
that thought. I think a lotof people don't stop to consider. And

(15:33):
that was me one at one timeas well. I never considered that thoughts
and words, you know, createthat energy in a certain vibration as well,
right, And it's so impactful whenyou start to process that, and
it's important to know that everything hasenergy, right, And then it just
makes us a little bit more awareand mindful of what we're putting out there.

(15:58):
But in that sense of what we'reputting out there, we're also allowing
better things to come back to usand to humanity in that sense, right,
right, And even like what youwere saying, like words are kind
of containers for energy. And weall know this because there are certain words

(16:18):
that we say and we associated,we immediately associated with a feeling. Right,
if I loved, then we allgo like, oh, you know,
or maybe if we had a badexperience we go to and if we
say something like a ghost or orsomething scary, then we get that feeling
right away. So these words areso connected to how we feel, and

(16:41):
by the time we are adults. The way we tell our own story of
who we are and what we've doneand what we can do is already determined
because we already have this set ideaof who we are. I mean,
think about it. Oftentimes we gothrough our lives just saying like, well,
I'm not really good at that, and that came from something that we

(17:03):
tried maybe when we were in ourteams. Right, I'm not good at
I don't know, I'm not goodat running really fast, or I'm not
good at throwing a ball through ahoop or something. But that might have
been one experience that we did liketwenty years ago, and after that we
never tried it again because we alreadyhave told ourselves that we're not good at

(17:26):
that. Yeah, we decided mmhmm. So we hold ourselves almost captive
in the label that we put onourselves. So these words that we use
are incredibly powerful. Yeah, Ilove that, And you know, I
think it's it's important for people toknow that they have the ability to change

(17:48):
that and to transcend the boundaries andthe limiting the limitations that we put on
ourselves. So we're going to continuethe conversation here. We're going to take
a short break and we'll be rightback here on Saga nine sixty with my
special guest today, Lawn, whois helping us to foster more manifestation and
magic into our lives through her incrediblesacred geometry, her oracle cards really useful

(18:15):
tools that can help you navigate dailysituations and some of the questions that you
have, but also for the longterm. To stay with us and we'll
be back after the short break. No Radio, No Problem stream is live

(18:38):
on Saga nine six am dot C. Hello one to welcome back to the
Mindset mata on Tanya Kola helping youlive a life you love. Now.

(19:02):
You always hear me talk about howyour mindset is equated to everything in your
life, and it's really like amuscle that needs to be strengthened and conditioned.
Well, today this is your mindsetworkout, and you're not just getting
a workout, You're getting a magicworkout. So we're here talking today with
my special guest. Her name isLawn. She is a sacred geometry artist.

(19:23):
She's also an intuitive guide and it'shelping us to navigate some of you
know, those questions that we havein life. Oftentimes we have questions and
you just wish you could ask someoneyou know, what's the answer, tell
me what to do? Well.Lawn has created a wonderful range of oracle
cards that can in their different decks, different names. Her latest is The

(19:47):
Modern Merlin, so that you canbe the Modern Merlin in your own life
and get the questions answered right away. So let's jump right back into the
conversation. It's so great to haveyou join me here today. So congratulations
on the success of your book,The Modern Merlin. That now is uh
the oracle card deck that we're goingto talk about today, So really cool.

(20:12):
I love your your design. Solet's talk about some of the you
know, the other uh names thatwe have for some of the cards,
because we talked about transcendence, andI think it's important right that we move
forward in live to transcend our boundaries. But what are some of the other
card names let's talk about Let mesee if I can find it here so

(20:33):
quickly. But let's talk about magicitself, because magic is a very interesting
concept, right when when when wethink about magic, everybody throughout history,
in human history, we have beenfascinated with magic. I mean, look
at all the books and all themovies that we made, a lot of
the rings, and you know, everything has magic in it. And what
does magic actually mean? I mean, magic is something. It's a word

(20:56):
that we give to things that wedon't really can explain, and we do
experience them. So we experience them, we see it happening, we feel
it happening. We can't really explainit within our current belief system, within
our current paradigm, so then wethrow it in the box of magic.
And if we think about it overtime, there were a lot of things

(21:19):
that we used to call magic thatwe have taken out of that box because
by now we have explained them.Like one of the things, for instance,
like sun rises. You know, there was a time where we were
amazed with every time the sun wouldrise, and we would have our rituals
and our traditions and our offerings towhatever gods to make sure that that sun

(21:42):
would keep rising, not understanding anythingabout planets and rotations and cycles and all
of that. And then once wecaught up with our science and we could
explain it, it was like,oh, it's not magic. It's actually
part of nature, right, It'spart of natural laws. So we took
it out of the box of magic. So what that tells us is that

(22:06):
what we call magic is often thethings we cannot explain yet within the science
that we know, but over timewe probably will. So that makes magic
a whole bunch a whole less likeit makes it more concrete, right,
Yeah, that's an interesting point becauseI think that you know, science is

(22:26):
actually catching up with a lot ofthat unknown, right and understanding that yes
we are you know, energetic beingsand there is that quantum energy field,
right. And so just to thatpoint, I'd love for you to address
some of the questions that people willhave listening right now, because not everybody
believes in magic so to speak, right, or that we can access,

(22:52):
you know, a certain energy toexperience answers. So what would you say
to people who are maybe a littlebit skeptical of you know, readings or
cards. I would say, like, I think a lot of I think
we all have already way more magicin our lives than we realize, and
a lot of things we don't eventhink about anymore. Like think about love.

(23:15):
We all have experienced love, weall think that we know what that
feels like or or you know,to love somebody or to feel love by
somebody or something. If you reallystart thinking about it, what really is
love? It's not something that wecan taste or touch, or see or
or hear. It's not anything thatreally we can do with our five senses.

(23:40):
So it's not of this three dimensionalworld. It's actually of something beyond
the three dimensional world. It's justthat we have accepted it. But it's
actually from the magical world. Soand so is our belief in a higher
power, you know, our beliefin God or our belief in the divine
or whatever you want to call that. Anything that is like of a higher

(24:02):
power, that bigger picture that weare part of is also it's not off
the three dimensional realm. And formost people it's very real. Yeah,
I love that, you know, beautifully said. So let's talk about when
somebody gets your oracle card deck athome, and let's talk about the modern

(24:22):
Merlin because that's the latest one.So when we get the modern Merlin deack
at home, how do we useit? How do we select a card?
I do it very intuitively. Actually, it comes with a little book,
and in the little book it hasa little bit of an introduction about
magic and about how to use theoracle deck, and it has some suggestions
about you know, you can drawone card, you can do this with

(24:45):
two cards, you can ask aquestion with three cards. It has that
suggestion. But I always say, like, you know, just go just
go have fun and play the wayI use it. I just take this
deck, I shovel it, andI just stop shoveling whenever I feel like
stop shuffling. But some people spreadit out in front of them and they
draw like that. It really doesn'tmatter. How Okay, so can we

(25:08):
can we do a test here?Does it work, lawn? If you
select a card for me, let'ssay, or someone is selecting it for
a friend or family member. Solet's let's select a card for you.
And okay, So what I liketo do is I'd like to kind of
start tuning in to what I wantto ask. So in this case,
I'm going to start shuffling the cards, and I'm going to ask what would

(25:30):
be a good card, something thatwould service you, that would be in
your interest to think about a littlebit more, or maybe to have a
little suggestion of like, hey haveyou looked at something like this unless you
have a concrete question. No,I love that I'm very curious. As
soon as you started talking, I'mlike, okay, great, what's gonna

(25:52):
come up? Exactly? Okay, let's see. And by the way,
as Lawn is shuffling and selecting acard, I'm in it. We're gonna
definitely select a card for all thelisteners as well. So don't go anywhere.
But I drew magic for you.Oh magic, Okay, that's magic

(26:12):
if you were just talking about that, so I would say, like,
for one, it just comes upbecause this is what you and I are
talking about. And for two,I would say, like the invitation is
also like what what does magic meanto you? Like, how would you
translate it? Is it something thatyou believe or that you feel that you
have in your life. Is itsomething that you would like more of.

(26:34):
Is it something that gives you agood feeling when you hear your word magic?
Or is it something that you arefearful of? There is no right
or wrong answer. All these cardsare doing is to guide you and help
you to explore your own ideas andbelief that you have around something, because
that's often where we limit ourselves.Right, if you are fearful, if

(26:56):
you feel like ooh and somethime somebodysays magic, like, that's a I
don't want to go there. Okay, why is it scary? What is
scary about it? What could happen? Right? I start asking yourself questions
and the book will ask you somequestions as well, like interesting questions that
you could sit with, and alsosome suggestions. And every card will also

(27:17):
suggest a crystal that goes with thecard that you could use to tune in
more into that topic if you wouldlike to. Nice. Okay, So
you know, when I hear theword magic, I love magic. I
you know, I think, yeah, it's fantastic. However, you know,
having said that, I feel likeI could use more magic. I

(27:40):
believe in magic, and I knowthat the universe is magical and there's magical
things in my life. But Ialso feel like I am on the precipice
of great change, and I'm well, I welcome magic into my life.
But I think in one small way, there's a little bit of fear,

(28:02):
right, a little tiny little bitof fear connected with that only of the
maybe the unknown, right, theunknown, and wanting to know. I
just want to know it all now, right, Yes, we have an
incredible fear of the unknown. AndI think the unknown and magic are very
closely connected because magic, actually, because we just talked about that, right,

(28:23):
magic is that word for anything thatwe can't really explain. So there
is a big part of unknowns inmagic itself that makes it magic. Right.
But if we understand how it worksin the universe and how everything is
connected and how everything is energy,we could also change that perspective and get

(28:45):
excited to explore something, something newand something that we know that we are
a part of, and also knowthat deeper we understand it, the more
we can work with it, andthe less scary it becomes. Yes,
yes, I love that. Youknow, it's interesting. Somebody asked me
the other day, we're talking aboutchange, and you know, as we've

(29:07):
mentioned, you know, most peoplethey don't love change, right again,
because it's that fear of the unknown, right of what what's to be expected?
And I said, I love changebecause yeah, it's it's brilliant,
it's magical because there's just this, there's a whole other world available to you.
And actually, on that note,if you could read the little message

(29:30):
that you have as you open yourmodern Merlin Merlin deck right on the side
there's there's a little quote. Ilove that quote. Yeah, oh here
on the inside, yes, AndI will show people it's like so the
book. That's what I like toit's like a little magic box, right
because it just opens like that.Mm hmmm. And here I don't know

(29:51):
if people can see it like thata little more to Yeah, there we
go. That's better. Yet,the only limits for what we can create
are the boundaries that's by our ownimagination. Beautiful, thank you, Because
and that goes back to affirmations.Right often we tell ourselves like I can't
do that. So I try tocatch myself the whole day on everything that

(30:15):
I say, Like when I saylike, oh man, that's so difficult,
unless it's not. Is it reallydifficult? Or did I just somewhere
along the line decided that it's difficult. What if it's not difficult? What
if it comes with ease? Startat the point. All of this starts
with our awareness of our own contribution, of our own perspective, right so,

(30:37):
so, and it starts with catchingyourself on your own thoughts and your
own words on how you describe something, how do you describe somebody else?
How do you all of that? You know that's so true. It's our
language patterning is really going to bedictating the quality of our lives as well.
Right, So yeah, you wantto pay attention and catch yourself and

(30:59):
change the or change that patterning toreally bring in more magic into your day.
Right. So I'm just just achange thing, right. How you
lit up when you say like,I love change, and I was immediately
like, I love change too.I mean just that if you go like,
oh my gosh, change is sois so scary. That comes in
with a very different feeling, right, So if you can change that around

(31:22):
into like change is exciting changes aspossibilities. Change allows me to create something
that I don't have now and thatI would really like. Right, Yeah,
you could convince yourself. Right. It's funny because if you look at
fear, fear is pretty much andfeels pretty much the same as excitement.

(31:42):
Right. Your heart starts to raise, your hands start to get a little
sweaty, right, and you feelthat sort of butterfly in your stomach.
So whether it's fear or excitement,it's the same thing. And you can
talk yourself into excitement. So it'sI remember for me speaking at different events

(32:05):
and in front of crowds. Youknow, I used to always tell myself,
I'm so excited, I'm so excited, and so that anytime there was
a little bit of fear, itturned into excite excitement because I talked myself
into that, right, And soI think that's kind of really important to
be able to recognize some of thosestates of being that we adopt, and

(32:27):
you know, see, how canwe change that to serve us? Right,
and sometimes to do it anyways, even if we're a little scared.
Just because I like change, doesn'tmean that I'm not afraid of change.
Yeah, it doesn't mean that everythingis. Sometimes I'm afraid too to try
something new, but I'm going totry it anyways. And then when I
do, after that, all ofa sudden, I'm not afraid of it

(32:49):
anymore. So and I know that. And it's like what you said,
it's all repetition. The more yourepeat these things, the more they become
new habits. And new habits createnew thoughts, and new thoughts create new
feelings. Right, it creates anew reality for sure. Yeah. Yeah,
Okay, so how about we picka card for the listeners. Okay,

(33:10):
well, let's see what do youthink we should concentrate on for the
listeners, maybe something like in general, Oh wow, there's one falling out
right away. I love cards thatfall out. So when you're shuffling and
one that falls out, I alwayspay attention to that one because I always
feel like, talk about excitement,I always feel like that's the card that

(33:32):
was really excited to come and playwith us. So it's the card attraction.
Oh okay, m hmmm hm.So let's talk about that, because
attraction is the law of attraction.I think most people have heard of that,
and it goes back to everything thatwe're talking about. Right in an
energetic universe, where everything is energythat like attracts like like something that has

(33:58):
the same vibration, that has thesame frequency or the same energy pattern will
attract each other. So and that'severything that we are talking about. So
if you are using very negative wording, or you have very negative thoughts,
or you're very fearful, then whatyou're sending out that signal that you are
sending out, that energy bubble thatyou are creating around yourself through your thoughts

(34:22):
and your words and your emotions andyour your feelings is going to have that
signature of fearful, and so whatyou're going to attract is something that matches
that. So you're going to attractthings to you that are the same signature
fearful, scary, anxiety, allof that. And we all know this,

(34:46):
right, we all have met somebodythat is in love or we've been
in love, right. And ifyou look at somebody that is in love,
they being they glow, they walkaround, they float right, and
it just seems like everything is goingtheir way. Everything is brightly colored and
everything is going smooth, and theother way around. When you get out

(35:07):
of bed in the morning and youfeel like, oh gosh, you know
this is going to be one ofthose days, and you're dragging yourself to
the kitchen and you're stabbing your toeagainst the chair, and the cat is
not doing what it's supposed to doand all of that, it just seems
that it keeps continuing throughout the day. So true, then you get a
flat tire and then you maybe askthe questions, how does it get any

(35:28):
worse by this? And then itcontinues to get worse than this, and
you get into a fight with somebodybecause you were already crabby, and then
they are grabby too. And soit's a really good example of how how
we attract, we attract what wesend out, and what we send out
is determined by what we think, what we feel, what we say.

(35:51):
So it's so I would say toanybody that's watching this or listening this,
like it all starts with becoming awareof these It's all part of the subtle
world, right, It's like it'sreally in. That's your own contribution and
that's something that you can control, which is great. That's great news because
that gives you power. Yes,it's so good. Yeah, we have

(36:15):
the control to be able to createand attract the life that we actually want.
It's a good reminder when you pullthat card to you know, just
take a moment and say, amI attracting what I want in my life?
Right? Exactly? Right? Oris there opportunity to attract now something
different? And if you don't likewhat's being attracted, like how to change

(36:37):
your vibration to now resonate at adifferent frequency to be able to attract what
you want? Right? And Iwould look at different areas, you know,
and look at like what are thepeople that you are attracting and the
circumstances like make a distinction between theseare the people that are now in my
life, Like, look at youryour inner circle. Are these old people

(36:59):
that are really support of your growthand supportive of your dreams and your vision.
Yeah, look at Because sometimes weoutgrow our circles as well. When
we grow, when we change, sometimes we feel that all of a sudden,
we don't really fit anymore, andsometimes friendships change because of it.
Some people grow with us and wegrow with them for a long time,

(37:22):
and sometimes we find ourselves like I'mnot really sure we're aligned anymore, and
that's okay as well. Yeah, yeah, And it's interesting because sometimes those
lessons are really difficult, you know, I've I know, I found myself
in those situations where, you know, major life change in so many different
areas. And it's funny because it'slike it starts sometimes in one section and

(37:44):
it's spirals and it heads to thenext section in the next section because you
are changing vibrationally and you are attractingyou know, a different type of uh
maybe job, a career, relationship, just friends, everything. And so
I feel like I went through amajor life change, went through some difficult

(38:05):
moments, and then all of asudden, it's like my whole like world
went upside down, like my friendschanged and people that I thought were friends
for life were no longer friends forlife, and it was it was a
tough lesson, but at the end, I realized that, you know,
we just as you mentioned, we'rejust no longer aligned, and you know,
I wish them all the best, and I got you know I,

(38:27):
and you just kind of have torelease and let go. And that's a
big lesson I think to learn itis a big lesson, and it's part
of learning to shift into a newparadigm. I think we're still coming out
of a paradigm where we were taughtthat that some relationships or love, or
and especially love, right, it'ssupposed to last forever. They lived lived

(38:49):
happily ever after. Well, noneof those none of those fairy tales actually
tell you what happens in ever after, right, It always ends up the
Prindson princess. They right off intothe sunset and they live happily ever after.
And I always ask the question,I'm like, so where are they
going? Are they going to hiscastle or to hers? And then when
we get there, what are theydoing? Are they going to watch TV

(39:12):
together, or is he going towork the next day, or like they
don't give you any inside, right, So we grow up just thinking that
that happily ever after is like astatus quo, that change that that that
that comes and it never changes andit just is there and everybody is happy,
but nobody has filled it in whatit looks like. So I think

(39:34):
there's a lot of misconception, especiallynow that we live so much longer.
Also that I feel that throughout ourlifetime we make many many connections from the
heart, from the soul with othersthat we journey with for the time that
it served both of us and bothof our growth, and then sometimes we

(39:55):
go our separate ways against and sometimeswe meet each other again, and it's
okay. I think it's natural. It's just we're not taught that. Yeah,
that's a really great point, youknow, because it does happen,
and it's natural. We're humans witha range of emotion. Different things happen
in life, and there's going tobe, you know, different realities and

(40:16):
experiences that we have, and theseare opportunities to learn and to know that
we are evolving and everyone comes intoour life for a reason, you know,
we're we're serving each other right andyou know, as they say,
sometimes it's our mirror image. Andyou know, we're learning what we need
we teach sometimes what we need tolearn. And but it's exciting. Is

(40:36):
I think it's a great opportunity.And you know, I believe that,
you know, every experience in lifejust helps us evolve to the next and
best, best version of ourselves. So we're going to take another short break
here on Saga nine sixty. I'mTanya Kohla. You're listening to the Mindset

questions and guiding us with the answersthrough her teachings, her book The Modern
Merland, and now also her newestdeck of Oracle cards also called the Modern
Merlin, so that you can createmagic and manifestation in your life. Stay

(41:17):
tuned, we'll be back after thisstream us live at Saga nine am dot
CA. Hello, Hello, andwelcome back to the Mindset Mentor. Here

(41:50):
on Saga nine sixty, I'm TanyaKohlar, helping you live your best life.
My special guest today on the MindsetMentor is Lawn. She's a sacred
geometry artist. She's an intuitive guide, and we are talking about her latest
deck of oracle cards called the ModernMerlin, helping you to create more magic

(42:12):
and manifest the life you love. So, Lon, let's jump right back
into the conversation, and I'd loveto talk about you know, the world
climate right now is really tricky. There's a lot of negativity in the world.
We've gone through a pandemic. Collectively, racism seems to be on the
rise, wars outbreaking, the divideseems to be getting bigger and bigger.

(42:38):
So how can we help the listenersnavigate these challenging times? For me personally,
I just keep realizing, like, the best that I can do is
just stay to be a lighthouse, you know, a lighthouse. The function
of a lighthouse is to shine lightso that ships can find their way right.

(43:01):
And it makes me realize what Ican do is to keep on working
on myself, to keep on beingas loving, as kind, as understanding,
being interested in other people's opinions, being interested in and also if their
opinions are not the same as myopinions, to ask questions, to look

(43:22):
somebody in the eyes, to givesomebody a compliment. Right, I always
try to give people compliments when Igo to the grocery store and I see
another woman, especially women to women. If I see another woman and I
see that she's wearing something that looksbeautiful on her, I will tell her
that. And just the reaction thatyou see when you give somebody a compliment

(43:44):
about anything, they just open up, they start beaming all of some there
is a connection between her and me. Right, Also in our hearts are
more open, and I feel likeif we all would do that, then
eventually it's that all of attraction again, if we send it out, it
will come back to us. Yeah, I love that, you know.

(44:05):
I think it's can be easy toget stuck in negativity, especially if someone's
crossed the boundaries of what you feelis right or wrong. And then we
can you know, send out maybeunintentionally, you know, feelings of ill
will or hate. You know, hate is a strong word, but we
can be very passionate. Let's say, and I have a very strong feeling,

(44:29):
a negative feeling that again it's thatenergy vibration, and if we can
be that beacon of light for ourselvesand for others. It can change humanity,
it can change, you know, what we're seeing in the world.
So I do think it's very importantto continue to shine that light. And
so many people, I think,go through life believing that they don't have

(44:52):
that inner light, that radiance within, And to me, that's such a
tragedy because everybody has that internal lightand sometimes we dim it. Sometimes we
you know, believe that it's out, but that light is eternal, and
if we can get back to sourceand find that light, we can continue
to ignite that. Right. Thethings that I do on a daily basis

(45:17):
that might be interesting to share aswell is I go outside. I walk
every day. I go outside.I live very close to the bay.
I look at the water, Igo very early in the morning, I
look at the birds, I playwith my cats, I look at the
flowers. And that's where I seethe bigger picture, where I see the

(45:37):
magic in the world around me aswell, and I need that. If
I don't do that, it's veryeasy to drown in all the external things
that come at us through through socialmedia or through through the news, or
so I would always recommend like spendspend time outdoors and connect to the little

(45:58):
things. Fill the sun shine onyour face or maybe some rain. It's
really lovely sometimes too. Let's drawa card for to see maybe where we
all could pay attention to. Yes, I would love that. Okay,
here we go. Soln is shufflingfor you and again for anyone who's tuning
in and listening. You can purchaseThe Oracle Deck The Modern Merlin by Lawn

(46:23):
at Amazon, available worldwide. Alsoher book The Modern Merlin where it All
Began, and there's a whole rangeof oracle cards that you were able to
select with beautiful sacred geometry designs Uh, I'm sorry. Service. Service,
Oh I love it. Service. It's a very very interesting. It was

(46:46):
a sole portrait for somebody as well, so it was based on somebody's energy.
But the whole concept of service isvery interesting because an in an old
paradigm we found sir and self sacrificewe're very very close. We almost felt
like if we want to be inservice of the bigger of humanity or some

(47:08):
sort of a something that is higherthan ourselves, we felt that it has
to go, we have to sacrificeourselves to it. Right, And so
many people feel so depleted because theyare in service. And I think in
a new paradigm we start just likewhat we were talking about, Our service

(47:28):
to the world comes from our innalight, and our main responsibility is to
take care of that in alight beforewe take care of anybody else. It
is that whole principle that they teachyou on an airplane, put your oxygen
mask on first before you tend tosomebody else. Right, why don't we

(47:49):
teach that as a general rule forlife, Like, we cannot keep on
taking care of others if we don'ttake care of ourselves first, because eventually
your glass will be empty and thereis nothing more to give. Mmm.
You know that's so true. Andit's like when we can be our best
selves, truly authentic to our core, our light just radiates, you know,

(48:15):
so expansively, and we can impactmore people that way by being genuine
and true to who we are.And you know, that feeling, it
just feels amazing. We've all beenin that space, that sweet spot that
just feels so good, and we'veall been on the other side of it
where things don't feel so good.So it's important to recognize the feeling and

(48:40):
also to recognize that if we dofeel tired or depleted or depressed or anxious
or scared or angry or any ofthat, that's the time to go into
self care first, to recognize it, to go like, maybe I need
more sleep, man, Maybe Ineed to watch a really good movie.
Maybe I need to get together witha dear friend and just have them love

(49:00):
on me for a little bit andtell me what they love about me or
what's so amazing about me, sothat I get reminded. Right, I
got to feel up myself. Igot to turn on my light first in
order to shine it out into theworld. Yeah. Absolutely, I love
that. And so we're unfortunately we'reout of time, but I do want

(49:22):
to before we say goodbye, Iwant to let's let's pull one more card
as expiration for all the listeners. So this is what we collectively can be
working on together, okay separately, but together together but apart HM inspiration for

(49:49):
the world, honest shuffling for theperfect card. This is the perfect card.
Gratitude. Oh I love that gratitude. It couldn't be more perfect.
Yes, okay, so what arequickly what's your take on that card?

(50:10):
Coming up? Make a gratitude journalevery morning. I do it with a
friend of mine. We send eachother text and we go, like,
tell me three things that you're gratefulfor today, Just three things, because
it forces you to think about thelittle things that you are grateful for.
And it could be that delicious cupof tea that you just made yourself,
or it could be that your catjust gave you a night a little pur

(50:31):
or that the sun is shining.I think if we all search for three
things each day that we're grateful for, you automatically tap into the light.
You automatically tap into the higher vibrations. And if we all do that,
then the general vibration goes up.Oh. I absolutely love that I could
perfect. Oh. It's the badstanding right to be grateful. And I'm

(50:55):
so grateful to the listeners for tuningin. I'm grateful to have the ability
to be a facilitator, to havean amazing guest like Lawn on the show,
to be able to help to inspire, motivate, and educate the masses
so that we can all live ourbest life. And Lawn, I am
