red colored soles. His right tibiahad a metal rod implanted, which investigators
now know was due to a seriousmotorcycle accident. The rest of the body
was never found. In twenty nineteen, seven years after the legs were originally

found, a DNA sample was sentdown to Texas to Othrum Labs. Through
forensic genetic genealogy testing, scientists atOthram and investigators in Montana were able to
get a DNA match and confirmed thattheir John Doe was forty six year old
Michael Wayne, Canada. Michael hadnot been in contact with his family for
