in Minnesota today. The suspect who allegedly murdered Representative Melissa

Hortman and her husband in what appeared to be a
politically motivated assassination, according to Governor Tim Waltz, in their
Minneapolis home this very day, has been identified as former
appointee of Minnesota Governor Tom Walls, Vance Luthor Buler, is

accused of killing Hortman and her husband and seriously wounding
Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife. Both Hoffman
and his wife have had surgery and are expected to recover.
Bothler reportedly impersonated a police officer when the attack Hoffmann
and his wife at their home in Champlain, leaving them
critically injured, before proceeding to the Hortmann residence. According to records,

Governor Tim Waals appointed Butler in twenty nineteen to serve
a four year term on the Governor's Workforce Development Board
during Governor Mark's Dayton's administration, he was a member of
the Governor's Workforce Development Council in twenty sixteen. Authorities discovered
fires with the phrase no Kings in his car, referencing
the protests planned for Saturday against the Trump administration. They

also found a manifesto and a list containing the names
of other politicians and abortion clinics. Law enforcement also found
a Father's Day card addressed to the suspect and a
bag full of ammunition in his vehicle. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob

of public officials who might be in danger and actively
assist in this search for the suspect involving in the
assassination apartment. I am sickened by the assassination of Speaker
Hartman and the attack on Senator Hoffman, fry said, but

The Department of Homeland Security Secretary of Christi nome And
said that the DHS is monitoring the horrific shooting and
the state lawmakers in Minnesota. After State Representative Melissa Hartman
and her husband were shot and killed earlier this morning,

and what Tim Waltz said appears to be a politically
motivated assassination. Was it politically motivated? I guess was a
person involved involved in politics? Yeah, he was on these
on these boards. It's just the fact of the matter is,

at this point, this is all we know. We don't
know anything else. We don't know what was driving. Yes,
it is weird that he had those fires in his
back seat that said no kings on him. Yes, it's
weird that the manifesto, Well, we don't know what's in
the manifesto. It is weird that that that he had

are in danger. The men whoever's looking for him, whether
