Tonight's special guest is Stan Sarty. Stan and his good friend John Mooy started up True North Pacing. What that means is when you see pace bunnies in the Maritimes at running events, it's probably their organization. In 2012 Stan had something happen to him that would change the way he looked at things forever. We will let Stan go over what happened in this episode because Stan tells it so well. Stan was motivated to get himself in better shape. Besides, Stan Has 4 children and he wanted to help himself to be around to see all 4 grow up. Everything just escalated from that point on, not only was Stan running events everywhere but he was having fun doing it. After True North Pacing got started anything seemed possible. Stan has done 13 marathons in total and he would love to put Boston on that list. With a great coach under his belt and fantastic determination, we believe Stan can do anything. This episode has a lot packed into it and Stan is a wonderful storyteller, we believe you're going to love it.
