Hey, guys, time and time and time and time me
time and time again. It's time for motivation you motivation
you Hi, how you doing? Hi? You been? It is me?
It is I your beard and marathon or and this
bye got my gosh, it's motivation you. Hi, how you doing? Hi?
You been? I found for you, just for you. I
found for you this cool little audio clip. It's from
a commencement address by none other than Oprah freakin' Winfrey,

(00:33):
one of the most successful people in America, Oprah Winfrey.
And it's this fantastic little piece. You know what, I'm
gon hit play right now. I'll let you guys listen
to it. It's well worth the listen, and well blah
blah blah.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
On the other side, our job is not always going
to fulfill you. There will be some days that you
just might be bored, the days you may not feel
like going to work at all. Go anyway, and remember
that your job is not who you are. It's just

(01:08):
what you're doing on the way to who you will become.
Every every every every remedial chore, every boss who takes
credit for your ideas, that is going to happen. Look
for the lessons because the lessons are always there. And
the number one lesson I could offered you where your
work is concerned as this becomes so skilled, so vigilant,

(01:31):
so flat out fantastic at what you do that your
talent cannot be dismissed.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Guy who think which think that was Oprah? Oprah? And
she makes some stellar, great points in this little audio
clip I found in this little what minute, minute and
a half clip. She makes some great life changing, great
life and vice points right in that little audio clip.
But I want to fast forward right to the end
because the last one at the end, I really really
want to really just want to amplify. And that's about

(02:07):
letting your talent shine through, letting your talent shine bright.
One of the piece of advices I've always advised to
my children, in part of to my children, is that
if they want to get ahead at their career, if
they want to get ahead at their job, you make
sure you do whatever assignment they give you to the
best of their your ability. You make sure you are

(02:30):
that go to dependable person for any kind of job assignment.
You become that tool that they always go to, that
go to person for whatever the job, the job they have,
You become the switchblade. You become that indispensable thing that
when something goes wrong, when they need a thing done

(02:51):
and they need it done right, you're it. You're it.
And when you have an idea, you don't hold back.
You don't hold that idea back, even if you know
you're not gonna get credit for it. Some of your
manager's got to take credit for it, or his manager's
got to take credit for it. They know where the
idea came from, and that praise will come back down
the road. So you share those ideas, you share that stuff.

(03:17):
You make sure your talent shines bright. And that's the
way you get ahead in life. That's the way you
get ahead at your job in your career. You do
everything to the best of your ability. When they're looking
for a person to volunteer, man, you volunteer. You step up.
And then when they're looking for someone to actually do
a job, to do a thing, to take care of

(03:37):
a problem, to take care of a thing, they start
going to you. Everyone turns to you. Management turns to
you to get the thing done because you start showing
them that time and time again. You're the it person.
You're the go to person. Guys thinks so much. You
ruining me again this week. I'm the beard of marathon er.
This motivation you dog, y'all real soon. He patercated invitative
