Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, everyone, Welcome back to another episode of Motivation Zone.
It is your host here, Monica Ma. Super excited to
be with you. We're gonna dive into the topics as
you see here social Security. We're also going to talk
about this presidential election here in twenty twenty four. I
want to dive into discussing how I felt about the

(00:23):
debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. And if you
go back to my previous podcast, you will hear my
thoughts on why I am not voting for Kamala Harris,
and you'll also hear a little bit more detail of
my thoughts on Donald Trump. And that podcast is titled Politics,
Not Voting Kamala Harris and Thoughts on Trump and More. So,

(00:46):
you guys, make sure you go and check that out,
and I'll probably refresh your memory as we go through
this podcast, because I really want to do a deep
dive on these topics and tell you how I really feel,
go over some things that I've already said, so you
guys hang in there with me. First thing I want
to start off with is social Security. The reason why

(01:09):
I want to go in this direction is because I
recently had an experience with this Now, mind you, I
am not at the age where I can draw Social Security,
but my father is. And not to go too deep
into the situation, but recently there was an issue with
my dad's Social Security where it was a actual security breach.

(01:33):
And when I found out about this situation, I instantly
got on the phone with Social Security, and you guys,
I was on hold for three hours and twenty freaking minutes. Now,
let me tell you a little bit about their customer

(01:54):
service or their operating hours. So from my understanding, their
phone line open around eight am or so and they
don't close until seven pm Eastern Standard time. I called
their phone at four pm Eastern Standard time and remained

(02:15):
on hold until seven twenty pm Eastern Standard time. And
when I tell you, guys, I was hot. I was upset.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Now, the reason I'm bringing.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
This up is because I realize that when it comes
down to the government giving us what we need as Americans,
it's slow rolling. We're either on the phone forever, We're
either waiting in line forever, or we are waiting months

(02:51):
in sometime years to recover what's ours right. And what's
interesting to me is with theistration, the moment Biden stepped
into office. He said he was going to hire more
IRS agents to comb through the taxes of Americans, and

(03:12):
quite a few Americans who have never been audited before
were audited under the Biden administration. I'm talking about even
Americans who are making under one hundred thousand dollars a year.
So my point that I'm getting to right now and
the issue I'm having, and I'm going to kind of

(03:33):
roll into this presidential debate, I'm going to kind of
get into all of that from here. But my issue
is that when it comes down to giving Americans what
we need, they take their time. It either never happens
or it barely happens. And I have a problem with that.

(03:56):
For me to have to sit on the phone for
a Social Security representative for over three hours and no
one ever comes on, and I have to hang up
and do it again the next day, that really frustrated me.
And not only that, they let you know on the
phone call while you're waiting, you know, the little messages

(04:17):
that pop up. They let you know we're understaffed. If
you want to get something done, go visit us on
our repsite at SSA dot gov.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Right.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I'm surprised that I know these messages by heart as
long as I was waiting on them. But the next
day I get on the phone, I call again. Now,
thankfully this particular call, someone answered the phone line within
forty five minutes. But now my issue is this because
I've been in customer service for a long time, all

(04:50):
of my jobs are customer service base.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
As a matter of.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Fact, I feel like any job where you're dealing with
the public, you need to understand good customer service. You
also need to have sympathy and empathy for people. And
my dad is in a particular situation where I'm having
to handle his affairs right now, and I appreciate when
people can empathize with the situation and make sure things

(05:16):
are taken care of. Because we're doing what we know
we're supposed to do. Now we need those that we're
working with, paying whatever the case may be, to do
the same.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Right.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
So, I'm on the phone with this rep and my
dad is also on the phone, and there is a
particular item this rep as for that he needed to
verify my dad's information that he didn't have, and so
I explained to the rep my dad's situation and the
guy was like, well, he'll just need to call us

(05:46):
back instead of waiting, because my dad could get the item,
but he would need to get someone to get it
for him. And so, long story short, I kind of
really approach this rep a way of explaining the situation
to where I'm saying, we're not hanging up this phone,
so you can either hang up on us or hang

(06:10):
on the line so we can get what you need.
You know, I'm kind of in that mode because remember
I waited for them to come to the phone three
hours and twenty minutes the day before, and I let
him know that as well, but they didn't care. It
wasn't oh, well, you know, we apologize for inconvenience. No,
we need to get off the phone, which is understandable
if you guys are going to have people on hole

(06:32):
forever and that's not my attention. But I'm also trying
to get something done. Long story short, my dad ends
up getting what he needs, tells this rep. And then
the rep still ends up telling me that I need
to go into the Social Security office. I cannot make
this stuff up. Okay, So this is happening over the

(06:54):
span now of three days. Because by the time I
understand that I I need to go to the Social
Security Office. I now need to travel back to my dad.
There is some distance between us in the sense of
travel time, and so I have to prepare to go.
So I'm like, Okay, Dad, we're gonna make sure we
get this done. I'm gonna go to the Social Security

(07:16):
Office the very next day because this is important and
we don't want any problems, right, So okay, I go
to the Social Security Office the very next day. Who
was that an interesting experience. Let's just say I pulled
my ticket. I'm there about ten forty nine am. They
open actually at nine o'clock. Wanted to be there at nine,

(07:38):
but travels didn't permit me to do so. So here
we are, get my ticket at ten forty nine, and
I'm waiting, and I'm waiting and I'm waiting, and about
eleven forty nine, about an hour or so later, we're
being asked to leave the building. The reason we're being
asked to leave the building I still don't know, but

(07:59):
I can speculate. And you guys, I'm just gonna paint
you a picture because I'm not gonna say what I
think it it was. But let's just say five different
police officers pulled up, the fire department pulled up, and
they were preventing people from pulling into the parking lot.
They asked us a step as far away as possible

(08:21):
from the building, and then they had dogs walking around
the building sniffing. So you guys, use your imaginations, you
could probably think what that was.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Right.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
So that went on for about a good thirty minutes,
where you know, standing away from the building, waiting for
them to continue this search or discontinue the search so
we can go back in. That ends up happening about
thirty minutes or so later, and I sit there for
about another thirty minutes or so, so we're going on
about two hours. I'm here waiting on someone to talk

(08:54):
to me about my case or my dad's case. In
the meantime, there are a lot of people leaving, so
many people I heard talking to one another saying, yeah,
I was in here yesterday and I waited for hours
and no one came. So it is very obvious that
online and or should I say, over the phone and

(09:15):
in person, the Social Security office is very understaffed.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
That is a problem.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
And I kept asking myself while I'm sitting there, why
is this place so understaffed. Why are the phone reps
so understaffed? But yet they're constantly talking about raising our taxes.
So I want to read something to you guys real quick,
and we're gonna talk about the tax increase that Biden

(09:46):
wants to make. So listen to this, you guys, and
I'm going to include a link to this particular article
in the description of this podcast.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Okay, So, this can.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Be found on Finance Financesenate dot gov.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
And it reads.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
The President's budget calls for nearly five trillion in new
and increased taxes. If realized, this plan would create a
tax regimen that would lead to some individuals handing over
more than half of their paychecks to the government, and
many American businesses doing better off being headquartered overseas. Not surprisingly,

(10:34):
the budget also requests even more spend first plan later
funding for the IRS for enforcement and compliance operations, which
will further squeeze hard working Americans while doing nothing to
make the IRS more service oriented and taxpayer focused. In

(10:56):
his State of the Union address, President Biden repeatedly said,
let's finish the job. This budget shows hard working taxpayers
exactly what they can expect, and so this article breaks
down Biden's tax plans to hike up the taxes, which

(11:21):
then leads me to this debate. And what Kamala Harris
is not saying is most of her ideas and plans,
if she's leaning on what Biden wants and what her
administration already represents, anything that she's implementing means there's more

(11:43):
money that's going to come from us.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
And I have a huge problem with that.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
You guys, I want America for myself. I want to
see us not paying as much taxes as we are.
And then if we are going to be paying these
taxes right our government staffs for the things that American needs,
like the DMV. Don't even get me started. You need

(12:13):
to renew your license, it takes forever. There's just so
many different processes, social Security, anyone who's needing anything when
it comes down to their healthcare, whatever those cases may be,
the process is, if you all understand and have ever
gone through any of them. Concerning the government, it takes forever. Also,

(12:36):
just applying for basic things like business licenses and renewing
certain things that we know we need takes forever. I
have a problem with that. And not only is that
a problem we are dealing with. And one thing Kamala
does not want to talk about, one thing she has
not addressed, and one thing she refuses to be truthful

(12:57):
about is her role, Biden's role in this migrant situation.
It is a real issue because and let's talk about this,
you guys, we have resources in America, but it is
a known fact that right now those resources are what

(13:20):
you guys expensive, prices are going up. And not only
are the resources expensive, sometimes those resources are limited. So
just to paint a quick picture and analogy, right say,
for instance, you are on a home but maybe you

(13:43):
recently lost your job, or maybe you were in a
situation where unfortunately you had to get into a good
bit of debt to get where you are, and so
you're working on paying that off. But then there's twenty
five people who need a place to stay. You say
to yourself, Okay, yeah, you guys, come stay with me.

(14:08):
Now you have twenty five extra people staying in your
house as if you're the only resource they have. Because
you're not right, why isn't America communicating with these different
countries to maybe negotiate different things that these individuals need
who are crossing over here, and I want to tell you, guys,

(14:31):
there are multiple countries of people crossing over here into
the US.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Right.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
And so one thing I tell people, especially in my
little bitty circle in this world, when I see you
very nice people, I would consider myself nice, but I
have strict boundaries. Right, I'm telling you all that right now.
I have boundaries. I enforce them to so you can

(14:58):
consider me an. There are some who are super nice.
They don't have any boundaries, and if they did, they
don't enforce them because they're afraid they don't want people
to dislike them. All of these things, right, that's a
little bit of what's been happening here in America. These
boundaries and these laws are not being enforced for these

(15:21):
particular individuals, and this administration to say, we're good people
and we care about people, but that care and goodness
comes with a price where you have to use your
common sense. And one thing I tell my tight circle
getting back to that, is you can't put on a

(15:41):
cape and think you're the only way and the only
resource in the world when you still exist amongst millions
of billions of people and millions and billions of opportunities
and millions and billions of great organizations, other good people
who maybe just so happen in a better position than

(16:03):
you are currently in some things. Right, So tell me
why America has not stepped aside to negotiate with these
countries get in their business. Since your people are coming
over here to see us and live here and use

(16:23):
our resources, why aren't they going to these countries and
discussing these things? But yet they want to be in
NATO agreements with multiple countries. They want to fund wars
this current administration, and that's just the fact they want
to fund these things. But yet you can't go to

(16:45):
these same countries that you're in all of these agreements
with and ask them why are your people coming over here?
And not only that though, but also getting supplies from
and food from We get a lot of food from Mexico.
We really do, tell me why we can't discuss why

(17:06):
so many people across in that border from there.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
So that's my thoughts on this entire situation. But let's
go back to the finances. Let's go back to taxes.
We're funding the moves that this administration is making, which
is why, going back to what Trump was saying during
the debate, which I cut off after the fourth question,

(17:32):
but I've.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Caught some highlights. I just couldn't watch it. I'll tell
you guys why.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
But Trump was saying he's going to put certain stipulations
on the countries who are getting things from us. He's
gonna regulate it to where they're paying us for what
we're supplying to them, which right now he has stated
during the debate. Some of those things that Trump put

(17:56):
in place for those countries, that's still in place right
now now with the current administration, they kept some of
it in place. But where does it go from here?
If you're allowing so many people to come in so
back to our homes, back to you inviting twenty five
people to live with you, You are in debt, You're

(18:19):
barely able to afford your groceries. This is just an analogy.
And now you're having to go to go fund me.
You're having to ask moy this person and that person
to give you resources so you can support the other
twenty five people that you allowed to come into your house.

(18:40):
That's not a me problem.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
If someone did that with my boundaries and my enforcements,
I would be like, that's a you problem. I did
not invite those twenty five people to come into my house.
So my recommendation to you, dear you, ma'am you sir,
would be to get those twenty five people out of

(19:04):
your house, find them other ways and other resources for
them to get back on their feet. Maybe you can
help them do research. There's other ways in helping people
then allowing yourself to go in the hole and then
trying to reach out to everybody else you know, to
drag them down with you. It's better ways, and here

(19:28):
in America we have better ways, but unfortunately it is
not being exercised. So with the debate, the reason why
I got really annoyed and I turned it off was
not because of Kamala Harris because I expected for me
to not want to hear anything she had to say,
So that was on point. But Trump, on the other hand,

(19:51):
what I'm frustrated about is you are in the biggest
race of your life for this position, and and there
are so many people on the fence, And to me,
it came across that Trump and Kamala Harris are still
depending on their followers and supporters hatred for one another

(20:14):
to win this race, opposed to the facts. So with Trump,
he's talking and he's saying the same exact things he's
been saying on the campaign. Everything's broad everything's painted with
a humongis brush. You guys ever seen painters paint anything

(20:36):
and they have the different size brushes. And I know
you guys have heard this saying painted with a broad brush.
But imagine a painter who's painting a wall. That brush
will be pretty big, right. So Trump just dips that
brush in there of that size and that caliber and
just wipes it across and expects for Americans to vote

(20:59):
for him simply because he's constantly stating I had the
best of economy like no one has ever seen before.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Is that it Trump? Now? You know?

Speaker 1 (21:12):
And I know that we were not in these positions
that we're in right now financially when Trump was president.
But I want Trump to break out the numbers. Trump
needed to say what he's done specifically in the numbers
that varies, and that's different from what Kamala and Biden

(21:34):
or Biden and Kamala are doing. So for example, another
thing I've researched and found out which I want to
share this stuff with you guys, So remember to click
that link that is in the description of this podcast
wherever you're listening to it on and it'll take it
to my podcast page. And there I have a link
that states political talk information references. You can click that

(22:00):
link and it'll jump you down to what I'm referencing
to you right now. And so Trump signed in twenty
seventeen the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, of which Trump
did a lower the federal tax rate from thirty five

(22:21):
percent to twenty one percent. He also eliminated the penalty,
which was a tax penalty for any small business owner,
anyone individual who did not have Obamacare. Did you guys
know that there was a penalty for that if you

(22:43):
had not signed up for Obamacare. Now, if you're working
with the corporation where you are a W two employee,
you wouldn't have known this information. But me being a
small business also having spoken with a lot of small
businesses back then, and one in particular, because you guys,
I have a lot of tattoos. I was going to

(23:05):
a young lady, shout out to her. Her name's Beth,
one of the best tattoo artists I've been to, and
she had a beautiful shop. And I will never forget
having a conversation with her about how much she had
been penalized because she hadn't signed up for Obamacare, and
she told me then that she had been penalized two
thousand dollars. So that was a mess. But when Trump

(23:30):
signed the tax cuts in Job Act back in twenty seventeen,
he cut out that penalty as well as well as
lowering other tax brackets for married fouling joint return, also
upping the I want to make sure I'm saying is right,
you guys, hold on, let me pull it up really quick.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
That's what it is.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
He upped the deduction amount and he tripled it or
doubled it because it was twelve thousand, and it went
to twenty four thousand, which is your max de which
was really awesome, and in or for my twenty eighteen taxes,
I saw the lowest tax break I had ever had,

(24:11):
or should I say the highest tax break I had
ever had, which lowered my taxes owed for the year.
Because we're business owners, we owe most of the time.
And that's especially if you're not opting to pay your
taxes once a month or quarterly, you know you have
to then pay it annually. So for me, the tax

(24:35):
cuts then were awesome. For my twenty eighteen taxes, it
was great. And those particular changes, some are still in
effect right now until twenty twenty five. And so it
makes me nervous that if Kamala gets in office, that
she will not do anything to ensure that Americans have

(24:57):
the appropriate tax cuts. And then another the form of
verbage that she's using that's really frustrating to me is
she's now discussing the middle class. And I think Kamala
is now a Kamla. Whatever her name is, I'm gonna
call her cage because her name is pronounced so many
different ways by so many different people.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
So k is.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Now recognizing that there are a lot of Americans who
have definitely gotten up every single day and worked very
hard to build their income status.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
And now she's saying.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
She wants to focus on tax breaks for the middle class.
I do not believe that whatsoever. But then also, once again,
what about the American people who are making less than
one hundred thousand a year and just to make fifty
thousand a year, it's hard work. Back in the day,

(25:55):
businesses used to care more about in corporations to more
about their employees. That's not the case today. Businesses and
corporations now make their employees in a lot of instances,
not everyone. You still have some out there who care,
but they are very hard to find, right But the

(26:16):
ones who don't, they go out of their way to
make sure you understand that you're expendable. And then not
only that, people are still competing with what the tea
word technology, So right now, there's still a lot of
threats out there to take jobs from the everyday American worker.

(26:41):
And that is a scary thing. And that's the next thing.
Trump wants to bring a lot of businesses back to America.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
He needs to.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Take more time to break down what companies are spending
their money where when it comes down to production. Because
he did do exactly what he said he was going
to do, and he penalized companies who were sending the
majority of their business and their production overseas. So him

(27:14):
doing that caused them to reconsider where they were doing
their business and where they were making their products. Right,
and with that, it brings more jobs, it really does.
But if you have a president who does not understand
that in order for Americans to survive, in order for

(27:38):
us to grow and thrive. We are going to have
to nurture our own resources for some time. This is
not necessarily about not helping your neighboring countries. This is
not about not allowing people to come into the country.
It's about the order in which we do things. And

(27:59):
there is a time and a season for everything, and
that time and season to be supporting wars and letting
migrants come in here illegally and then giving them free
health care, giving them free room and board, giving them
thousands of dollars for them to go wherever they want
to go. Here in the US on Americans dollar is

(28:23):
not when we are in debt, this is not the
time to do that. So if you spend the time
nurturing your own resources, causing more businesses that are in
America to bring their businesses to America, then we really
would be the more powerful country. But to be honest

(28:46):
with you, guys, I'm struggling now to even think that
we are the more powerful country because look at us,
look at how much we don't do, and look at
how much we do not control, and then the way
these laws are going and the way they're trying to
come through our money and the amount of taxes that

(29:07):
we're paying. It's going to be a hard day for
so many of us when it comes down to keeping
anything that we've worked hard for. And it's unfortunate right
that we having to live on printed paper and then
not even that because most of the time half of
us are not even carrying cash. I would probably say

(29:30):
eighty percent of America's not carrying cash, which means then
your money is just digital, which is crazy. But back
in the day, there used to be bartering systems, right.
We used to have the farmers who had the food,
and the seamstress who can make the clothes, and you know,
the teachers who didn't mind teaching the kids.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
For different trade offs of things.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
We were able to bring in what we had and
what we had and excess that we didn't lack in
to present to someone else and.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Barter for that.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
But there is barely a such thing as a bartering
system now because everything takes so much money. And so
with that being said, I am very disappointed with Trump
with not breaking things down like this during debate. The debate,
I want Trump to literally step up and say I

(30:32):
hear what she's saying, America, but I want to give
you guys some facts on some things. Here are my
numbers as far as your taxes are concerned. Here are
the decisions that I made, and I want you guys
to resoarch this for yourself. And then here are the

(30:52):
current administration's numbers, or here are some things that they've done.
And now we're gonna home through that and you guys
make a decision on who you want to run this country.
I hope that this time around Trump really gets better advisors,

(31:12):
because the little bit of speaking he's doing and the
broad painting is not helping America understand the difference between
him and the current administration when there is a clear difference.
And once again Trump has not been perfect honestly as

(31:33):
an independent. Looking at that debate, just for the little
time that I did, I didn't want to vote for
either one of them. That's how I really felt, and
that's how I know that there is more on that
table that they need to pick up that needs to
be said now. Kh I don't believe for one minute
that she would make a good president. I don't care

(31:54):
what narratives and what policy she can come up with
in the next few weeks. I don't care, but the
American people deserves more. They deserve to hear more, and
we deserve some apologies from these people too, But that
won't happen. I won't hold my breath. And so let's
talk about the taxes that we are paying in America.

(32:15):
I'm gonna tell you a funny story about something after
I finish this. To go over these taxes, I have
to tell you guys about receiving my property taxes and
what happened after that. Okay, So let's dive into it.
The taxes that we're paying in America. Here are just
some of the few state taxes in most states. There

(32:35):
are a few that have eliminated state taxes, but it's
a thing for most states. Federal tax, unemployment tax, and
if you're a business owner, self employment tax, property tax,
and then sales tax, which means we are taxed on
every and all goods that we purchase here in America. Kay,

(33:00):
So in those states who have sales tax, which is
a majority of the states. So our property taxes right
now are around thirty two hundred dollars, so I would
say I'm probably overestimating how much they were before, so
about six hundred dollars when we first got this house.
Let me just put it that way. My math is
a little bit off.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
It's a little bit late.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
While I'm recording this, so you guys hanging there with me.
But the property taxes are now at thirty two hundred
dollars and they state on the property taxes that sixty
percent of that is going towards the schools in my county,
which is about two thousand something dollars. Okay, So I'm like, hmm,

(33:47):
that's interesting that sixty percent of that is going towards
the schools in my county. I thought it would be
a little bit more spaced out amongst other things, but no,
it's about maybe four of the things on that paper.
And so with that true story, guys, someone contacted me.

(34:10):
I lie to you, guys, and not if I'm making
this up. I'm flying you, guys, and I'm sitting right
here in my chair. Someone contacted me and said they
wanted me or asked me to donate to their relative
school because they're in some type of contest to win

(34:30):
a prize, and in order to do that, they need
to get a certain amount of donations. And this is
for a good cause. It's to help students continue reading,
and you can purchase either books from their store or
buy gift cards and all kinds of things that they
have for you to spend your money at this school

(34:53):
in my county that currently, as of this year twenty
twenty four, we are spending sixty percent of our thirty
two hundred dollar tax bill going to the county for
our schools. So I'm just thinking this thing through, and
I'm like, hmmm, I don't think this is something that

(35:16):
I want to contribute to because I'm already doing so
Like how many hands do I need in my pocket
within a year, honestly, And I've been trying to work
on even just having a savings It is hard to
do that for these reasons. They're double dipping, triple dipping, right.
So I took a picture of my bill. I texted

(35:39):
to the individual who asked me to donate to their relatives,
and I was like, look at how much my property
taxes are and how much is going towards the schools. Yeah,
if anyone needs a donation, it's me. And we had

(36:00):
a good laugh, and this individual did text me back
some other facts that was interesting in our county where
we do have some county officials who are now being
investigated for misappropriation of funds. So that tells you that, yeah,
the money that we're handing over is not always being

(36:20):
used for what it should be used for. And guess
who problem that isn't mine? Going right back to if
you invited twenty five people to stay in your house,
but you're in debt and you can't hardly afford it
by yourself groceries, it's the same thing. If our counties
and states are taking in state tax and taking in

(36:44):
property tax, whatever the case may be, and those funds
are not going towards those things, then we do end
up getting exactly what we usually hear from schools, teachers
being underpaid, in schools being underfunded.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
That's a problem.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
So that's my little story on my property taxes, and
I'm sticking to that. So I'm telling you guys right now,
I'm not donating to anybody's school.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
No, it's a no for me.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
And I really do recommend that you guys check your
property taxes to see what that's looking like and stop
allowing people to talk you into constantly handing over your money.
It is important going into the next thing to save,
you guys, and either save or invest. Do those two things.

(37:38):
And you can't save and invest if you're always just
spending on whatever. And a lot of the things we
spend money on today, you give that money up. There
is no return. And so, yeah, you're doing certain things
just because you want to feel like you're a good
human being. But I'm gonna tell you something, saying no

(38:01):
is sometimes the best thing for you and the people
that you love. Because I also have realized and come
across a lot of cases recently where loved ones are
not able to take care of each other for this
very reason. Overspending, overgiving. Learn the seasons that you're in

(38:21):
and abide by that these seasons don't last always, you guys.
So sometimes you're in that season of just saving your money.
Sometimes you're in that season of simply just making your money.
And then sometimes you get into a season where you
have an overflow of things where you can give your money.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
You know.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
But right now Americans are so stressed out because y'all
are in church. That's your next tax given ten percent.
Then you're given all of this money to the government.
And I guarantee you, you, guys, when Christ was walking
this earth to my folks. When Christ was walking this
earth and he was talking to his disciples about who

(39:06):
to give their money, to give your money to Caesar,
and then your money to whoever and whoever. I guarantee
you they didn't have state federal unemployment, self employment, property tax.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
And sales tax guarantee. Things have changed.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
So it's important to monitor what you have going on,
because I'm gonna tell y'all something. God does not want
you giving away your last every single time you're on
your last dime and then you gotta come beg him
for a sandwich. That is not how that works. He
want us to use wisdom and to be smart. So

(39:47):
you need to start listening to God and your sensitivities
when all your alarms start going off to tell you
to slow down and stop doing what you're doing and
given the things that you're giving.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
A lot of us I have seen this too.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
A lot of people are giving to people who are
able and very well capable of using resources elsewhere. You
are not the only resource, You are not the only savior.
You cannot be the only hero. Sometimes when we know,

(40:24):
we know that we are that, but it's not every
time you guys, you have to know the difference. And
I've seen too many good people give away. They last
way too often, and they leave this earth having felt
like they never earned anything, they never had anything, and
that all of their giving was never reciprocated.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
I'm serious, and that.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Is a sad thing. And watching that. I watched that
growing up, and I've watched that in my recent years.
That is the reason why I got ninety nine problems.
But having a hero complex is not one. So if
I told somebody knowing they're upset about it to this day, good,

(41:10):
As long as I have peace about it, I'm good
with that. And I'm not stressed. I'm good with that.
And I could put myself in somewhat a better position,
I'm okay with that. I'm just putting this out there
for you guys, right we You know, we dive into
these things. So this is life and I'm here to

(41:32):
motivate you. This is the motivation zone, after all. So
I'm motivating you, guys to look at alternative ways to
make sure that you are staying on top of your game.
Instead of giving all the time, save some time instead
of saving, sometimes invest sometimes learn those ropes. You guys,

(41:54):
and get out of these cycles that you're in. Because
if you've been in the same position four or five, six, ten,
twenty years and you're constantly saying to yourself, I need
to change and want to change. I hate where I
am and it hasn't changed. That means you haven't changed,
and your routines haven't changed, and your cycles haven't changed.

(42:17):
Changed those things, and we will see some amazing transformations.
We will see some amazing things happening. Okay, So back
to the Social Security Office. Just let you and not
guys know, and I'll update you in a future podcast
because I'm sure we'll talk about politics a little bit

(42:39):
more before the president is chosen and elected. But with
the Social Security Office, I did get this resolved, the
situation resolved, but there is still a little bit of
time where I will know for sure whether it's result.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
So I was.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
Told one thing and there's going to be a couple
of weeks before we make sure that that thing that
I was told has been corrected. Okay, So I will
definitely keep you guys posted in my next political podcast,
and we will definitely dive into and I will let
you know if they held true to their word, because
that's the next thing is when you need things from

(43:24):
the government, and when you're going through certain things as families,
if you're taking care of a loved one, whatever the
case may be, you don't want to continue to be
told one thing and then it's another thing. So I'll
keep you guys posted on that. And I've pretty much
covered all the topics that I wanted to address with
you guys today. I hope that listening to some of

(43:47):
my thoughts and I guess you could say opinions as well,
because definitely that and I understand that we're all going
to have different opinions and points of views, but I
just want to share with you guys my own just
in case some of you are needing some encouragement or
maybe you do need to hear a different point of
view and it helps you to kind of shake loose

(44:10):
and see what's really going on in our country, that
we can all hopefully make the best choice for president,
and that we will choose someone who will actually be
about the action, who will actually be about America. And
right now there is only one of those two candidates
who is that who is all American at this moment,

(44:34):
but hopefully he gets over himself, because, like I told
you guys in my last podcast, I had a huge
problem with Trump twenty twenty, and I am someone who
did not vote at all twenty twenty. I exercised my
right not to vote because I just didn't want any
parts and I definitely didn't like Biden. But Trump really

(44:56):
divided the country in twenty twenty and we needed a
lead who could bring us together. And hopefully he's more
focused on that this go round, but time will tell.
And so here's where I'll end with this. While I
do believe Trump is the better candidate, I am now
on the fence of not wanting to vote for neither

(45:17):
one of these people, and I might just write my
name on the ballot. Who knows, I'm kidding, but seriously,
I am on the fence now. I'm an independent. I
didn't think i'd say that, but I'm an independent really
feeling like why should I bother? But I am gonna
vote you guys. I'm not going to let you all

(45:37):
down this go round. So I'll keep you all posted
and maybe in between this time, I'll find a way
to write the Trump campaign and give some of my
best suggestions because I'm gonna tell y'all, if I could
sell my ideas and suggestions, I'd already be a millionaire.
And there is a such thing. Maybe I should just

(45:58):
find a way to do it. But you guys, that
is it for now. Thank you once again for tuning
into the motivation zone. I was super excited to be
here and speaking with you guys today. And remember to
check out the link in the description of this podcast.
