like make him look at this really great you know
guy taking care of his kids at his mom's house.

candidly clad women excuse me, and uh, they're they're getting drunk.

Speaker 3 (01:57):

gonna be here. What's up? Like stay with them and
like chit chat with us.

Sunday is Mother's Day. And we decided that I think
the people that know mother's best are fathers. So we
wanted to talk to the only father on this show,
Bobby Hick. We know, yeah that we know of the
legitimate the only legitimate father on the show, Bobby Hickey,
who is right now watching his kids while his wife

(03:10):

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Tell me about it? At your mother's house?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
So you're you've gone both ends of the spectrum. You're
doing a generational mother's day.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Are you still there? Yeah? Okay, okay, Well anyway, so
you're winter kids at your mother's house. You've got to
put up not only your kids but your mother. Is
that your kid? Is that TV? Or a kid?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
You're still there, Bobby, Bobby? What was that that? What

Speaker 4 (04:24):

Speaker 2 (04:25):
No, no, we're doing no dude, this is professional curiosity.
I'm not I'm not angry with you.

Speaker 5 (04:30):

conversation topic.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
And so okay, So so you're like your neighborhoods pretty open?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Your neighbor? Tell him you're on the radio right now.
You don't have time to be talking to will break
my hand again.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
You're going to beat up your neighbor for wanting to
talk to you. He didn't know that you're on the radio.
You need to tell him. You need to vocalize.

Speaker 9 (05:00):
I don't know, maybe drunk or something.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
He might be drunk. That's crazy. So what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (05:05):

I think you're with branded bar Hoffey in Arlington, Texas.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
That's different than your minds Now, alright, how's your neighbor?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, how's your neighbor? How's your neighbor? That's the vigiella
the whole time, or the phone conversation.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
You're You're really bad at that.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
You gotta work on getting Yeah, when I'm just asking,
like what your neighbor wants, You're like.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I don't know what you want me to do? What
he's just telling me? Well, here's the deal. Here's like
we're trying to like why wouldn't.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
You tell it's like you're just hanging out, Yeah, Like
why wouldn't you just be honest with us about like, hey,
I just want to go out for a night, Like
people just do that all the time.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
You're totally not You're totally not with your kids right now. Okay, no, no,
it's not you're not with them, you're not at your
mother's sound We already know the answer.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Now, Bobby, it's Wes. Bobby, it's West. Turn up the
volume on your phone. We know you're at the bars
with a guy named Brandon.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
He was in on it. We were in on it.
Just come clean, come clean, just and.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Tell us why you wouldn't just tell us what you
were doing.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
What this is the this is the I can't.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Well, you guys are talking to I can't hear you kids.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Shut up, all right, go go put it, go, put
the Lion King back in the DVD player, go in
and get in and put in get in and oh
you heard that. Yeah, everything just fine, Yeah, he heard everything.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
But Bobby, you're with your.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
Right what you.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, no, I I know that's how you use that
either way.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Goe with your kids. All right, cool? Thanks, Bobby's twy sixteen.
All right, let's get to this exciting interview women teasing
with James Ramar Ramar James. Make sure I'm saying his name, James, James,

(08:44):
James Remmer, James Remmer. Okay, so let me set out
the interview. This was a couple of days ago. He's
calling in to promote the appearance at Texas Frememere Weekend.
But I don't know some convention and that we didn't
go to.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
This just happened to me in Dallas.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Rose McGowan was on there and I wanted to talk
to her and meet her in person.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
We scheduled James for eight fifteen. Yes it say fifteen,
So I Eric and Iris was be here at seven thirty. Well,
I show up late. Eric's here at seven thirty. I'm
here at seven fifty, so I'm running late and I
haven't had time to eat dinner. I had a bag
like a sandwich and some soup. I'm brought in here
and I'm literally like ten minutes ago before the interview starts,
and I'm trying to finish up. I have the layout

(09:28):
of the questions in my head, right, I kind of
know where I'm gonna go. I just got to kind
of write it down and look at it. So I'm
sitting here shoving a sandwich down my mouth, typing furiously.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
I'm here distracting him.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
He's like him's in this videos videos of like this
is Michael.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Look at this meme old and.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I'm eating a sandwich, typing and watching Eric's video. By
some miracle, We're sitting at our mics at eight thirteen,
all ready to go. Yeah, sandwich is done, the soup
is done, my layout is done, We've watched the video.
Everything is done, magically, an hour's worth of work. He
learned how to No, we didn't know that. So we're

(10:07):
sitting here and we're going through vocal exercises, red leather,
yellow leather, red leather. How how now brown cow ray
Ray actually did vocal exercises. We were just looking around online. Yeah, okay,
So then uh, eight fifteen rolls around. No James, No
James ramont Reamer remor.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Yeah. And I was sitting here and talking about what
am I going to ask him, you know, as.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
A because Eric has a unique perspective. I'm just trying
to do the overall interview and try to get some good,
you know, questions in there. Some interesting like I want
to ask about Dexter, and you know, there's some rumors
that that show might be rebooted or come back somehow
with Michael C. Hall and stuff, So I wonder if
he knew anything on that. I thought that would be
good people want to know that, and Eric, I said,
as an actor, Eric's actors one fellow another, Right, I

(10:59):
want to ask one lets into another, right.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Some deep like you know, questions that I have that
only an actor will know, right, you know, a working actor.
And this guy is like a character actor. He's been
in everything, you know, And so I thought it'd be
very interesting for Eric to listen to this guy and
to ask him questions.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
So I'm really excited about this interview. Right, eight fifteen
rolls around, No James. Eight seventeen rolls around, No James.
And I'm starting to get a little worried now because
he confirmed with us that day everything was good to go.
So I started going through the emails and realize they
sent him because I got a confirmation email I think
when was it Wednesday, saying that everything was good to go,

(11:38):
what times and all that stuff, right from your assistant. Right.
I look at the email that she sent to him.
It's got a number I would see set on this email.
And I look on it. The numbers wrong, like one
digit off really, and I'm like, oh my god, what's
her assistant's fault? Right, So I email her to get
to him to say listen, I'm the correct number. You

(12:01):
screwed up. You fly it, you fly it, So she
I guess contacted him. I got two seat again, correct
number went out. Now we're waiting and then we get
a phone call immediately hangs out and I don't know
this number, so we call it back. I think it's James,
and this is what happens. Hello, James, how are you doing?

(12:23):
This is Michael Zavala.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (12:24):
I'm sorry. We're having all sorts of phone problems over here,
but I think we finally got you.

Speaker 9 (12:28):
Yeah, and I'm in a car now. I tried the
number a while ago and I'm in a car and
I can't really talk.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
That's fine. Do you want to do you want to
postpone it for a little bit. We've done a half
so okay, how long how long are you thinking?

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Well, I I.

Speaker 9 (12:41):
I'm going to with screening. I'm just don't think I'm
going to have the availability. That's you're the number that
you guys gave me like four or five times.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, sorry, they gave you the wrong numbers.

Speaker 9 (12:50):
Be the wrong number.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
We can we can reschedule or you can uh, oh,
we can do it now, we do it quickie. If
you want to do that, it's up to you.

Speaker 9 (12:57):
Well, I'm in a car with other people. Now, do
you guys mind if doing an interview? All right, well
I'll just go for it.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
All right, here we go, we'll get to start it. James,
I'm looking over your IMDb profile. Is there anything you
haven't been in?

Speaker 9 (13:14):
I come on, what kind of questions?

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I want to know what you haven't been in? But
then you'll be here forever. But you have a long,
impressive list on your IMDb which is incredible. And you
have a fantastic voice, by the way, and it looks
like you do a lot of voice work. You like
doing voice work better than than acting. I mean, as
far as it in front of a camera, No, not
at all.

Speaker 9 (13:38):
It's it's kind of ancillary and you know, kind of additional.
I you know what, man, this is a good time
to interview.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
That's fine, okay, all right?

Speaker 10 (13:52):
You know.

Speaker 9 (13:52):
The phone problems all that stuff is just kind of yeah,
you're good. Probably getting a hold of you. It's just
kind of it's not your Maybe I'll give you called
back in a few minutes.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
This is not good.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
No, you're good, man. I completely understand all right, all right, thanks.
First off, what is ancillary? Well, it's kind of ancillary.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
You've managed to ask him to probably the two questions
he never would be able to.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
First off, the first question wasn't really a question. It's
an icebreaker. Like I was telling Eric, what do you expect?
I've asked that question numerous times and numerous celebrities.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Right, Okay, I've been with you on a lot of
celebrity interviews that you I've never heard.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yes, I what have you not been in?

Speaker 5 (14:31):
What?

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Basically the answer to that question is. What I'm trying
to say is with that question, you've been in a
lot of stuff. Almost everything I've watched you're in. Right,
That's what I'm trying to say. And the correct answer
to that is, well, you know, I've been really blessed
in my career. You're right, I sure have been in
a lot of stuff. You know, I'm fortunate. I get

(14:53):
to do this, I get to do what I love.
Blah blah blah. That's how you start the interview. So
that's what I was starting out with. It wasn't a question.
I didn't want him to legitimately name everything he hasn't.
Maybe he's a well you know what, I haven't been lost.
I wasn't in The thirty Rods or Game of Thrones.
I haven't been in Game of Thrones. I haven't been
the New Oranges Black right, I haven't been any of this.

(15:15):
I didn't want him to answer that question. It was
just maybe he's just a literal person. So he thought,
you know, legit. You know, I think that he just
in an awkward position. I don't know, but anyway, so
we let the tape was still rolling, we record on
the set here. The tape was still rolling, and Eric
and I had this conversation afterwards.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
I was thinking to myself whenever he answered the phone
and he told you that, like, this wasn't a good time. Yeah,
you should have hung up. No, okay, okay, I'm sorry.
You know, let's me schedule for a different day.

Speaker 8 (15:46):
No.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I mean, I just thought he meant it it was
bad for us, and I'm okay with that. I really
thought he was talking about it being bad for us.

Speaker 10 (15:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
I took it as like I didn't think it was
a bad time for him. I just thought, well, hey,
there's gonna be some background noise, blah blah blah. That's
what I was thinking at that time.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
No, I was taking it as if like it was
just bad in general. Wouldn't care if it's bad for you, right,
That's how I took it. Heck, we've had two short
calls on a plane as they were getting ready to fly.
I know, but I felt like very uncomfortable Jonathan Franks.
Franks had to go and answer his gait while he

(16:27):
was on the phone with us. I mean, so I'm
cool with what it was. He by himself, though I
don't know he had to open the gate for somebody. Well,
I mean in James's offense, I feel him because I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Want to do interview. Why not in front of like people?

Speaker 4 (16:40):
You agreed to do this? Well yeah, but I mean
if you were going to be in a car, why
did you agree to do it this time? But you
did also give him the wrong number. I didn't do it.
Julie gave it to him. Okay, well, Julie gave him
the wrong number, right, there is one digit off. I
think that we should have just be scheduled because it
already started off bad.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
No, I think it was fine. I had my time
with us fine. I had a great time, even though
it was a short interview. I had a great time.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
What you're just you're Michael?

Speaker 4 (17:06):
No, it was good.

Speaker 10 (17:08):
It was if it would have went perfect, exactly the
way it was supposed to, I said this, I would
have sucked.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
I would have had.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
I told Eric afterwards too, I said that was probably
better than the ten minutes I would have spent with
him talking about his career. But I like how you
were saying. I'm like, no, it was a bad. No,
it was great.

Speaker 10 (17:24):
I thought it was a great. If you put the man,
you haven't had something that awkward. You put the man
he bought for one, It's like, hey, you know you
owe us I interview. I didn't say that to me, Well,
but you might as well.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
No, but he wasn't Michael's right, He wasn't in an
agreement that he did say that he was going to
do the interview.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
By the way, all this happened within the ten minute
time span that we had agreed upon. This wasn't like
all right, he's he was a great on what eight fifteen?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Right?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
All this happen at twenty three, right, so we had
two minutes left? Right, So what were you doing? Were
you holding all these people off until you did the
interview and then decide just to get in the car
with them. Oh, they're not going to answer if I
to drive through and they wanted to what were you
gonna do? You're holding these people off anyways, I'm with them.
I feel I felt very uncomfortable. Why did you feel uncomfortable?

(18:12):
You didn't do anything. I didn't want to talk. I
was gonna finding some way to contact you. I was
to tell you, Michael.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
I looked at Eric during this interview of Eric's face
was completely white. His eyes are.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Huge, because I know I had typed up my questions
on my laptop, so I'm here my laptop or whatever,
and then Michael's in there and there's no way for
me to say anything because the mics are on and
James's on the phone, so I can't say.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
I got it, but you can tell you can look. Yeah,
see Eric's face and he's like, this is about it.
Meanwhile I'm all kicked back, relaxed.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
You're like, you joined it.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
This is I love awkward moments, and I knew it
was gonna end like this, and I just was, let
me see how far I can push this, because I
just I loved it. I loved every moment of it.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
He was it was He was very calm, sitting there
like oky, Yeah, it's was going to interview.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
I have these questions for you.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Have my feet up on the desk, had his arms folded,
had his red bull right here, and I'm thinking, like,
what the heck like like Michael sitting I'm so used
to this at the end of a long day.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Yeah, I'm so used to awkward stuff like that, and
the other people, Oh, it's okay.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
And in my mind, I'm.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Thinking, it's fine. You need to do it now or
get a quickie.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
This is MS Gold. In my mind, I'm thinking this
is MS Gold, Like, we haven't had an awkward interview.
Things have gone too smooth for too long. We need
something like this. Well, I'm not going to say anything.
This interview has a re started off bad.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
I'm gonna use it. No, I think it was great.
I'm gonna use it. He's not going to call back. No,
But I mean I think I think we should reschedule.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
No, I don't have time to talk to him. We
have other people we got to talk to. We're gonna
be in l A next week. I knew it was
going to happen. You did, yeah, because the first question
is when he's like, what kind of question is that?
So I knew I knew it was going to happen
like that once that once the answer was like that,
that was he was already in his mind. He was thinking,
this is a bad decision. You So you weren't nervous

(20:05):
or no, I don't care. It doesn't it How does
it affect me? I'm the innocent bystanderd here. I was
just trying to do my job, you know what I mean,
that's true. I'm just doing I'm just doing again what
we talked about. I guess I didn't think about it. Listen,
I took it. I I spent a total of ten
minutes try to put together this interview. Actually, that's a lie.
It was five minutes. I worked hard on this and

(20:27):
to have it in in thirty seconds. I'm okay with that.
You know what, they say some of the best things
and in thirty seconds or less. That's my mind.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
I never heard it.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I can't do it in thirty seconds. No point in
doing it?

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Well, no wonder what you have to go for it?

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Well, you don't have to go James Tremer James Bremmer,
James Tremer. Anyway, I thought, listen, James gave us a
ton of new drops now, so I appreciate that the
hold on, hold on breaking news. Just we have after

(21:06):
James Remmer off the seat, James, what what stuff like that? James,
what can you tell us? And where are you? Exactly?
I see and what exactly is going on? Go ahead,
you can tell us, James, you could tell us. We'll

(21:28):
be back with James right after best. So we have
a lot more drops now, and you have the James
cough yes, yes, stuff I can do for you. And
then Bobby's favorite, the James grunt. Yeah, hey, we need

(21:53):
you to go and uh go up and climb this
mountain real quick and save this cat.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
We do.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
No but in all honesty, you know, we're just joking around.
But in all honesty, James is a nice guy. He
emailed us afterwards and said, listen, I'm just not gonna
be able to do it. I apologize. He didn't have
to send an email. He did, And I do think
he's a great actor. I like his everything he's in
and I would like to have him on the show
one day, yeah, you know, and talk to him if
he wants to do a full hour, let's do a
full hour. I would do that with James. Uh so

(22:24):
we're just having a good time with it. Do you
think he would Let's ask him, James, would you come
on the show again?

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Okay, well, well maybe not.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
You're always welcome. Let's just put it that one that's
being questioned, right, Sorry, he must have a cold. But no,
I you know there's I have nothing bad to say
about the guy. Yeah, sure, you know. He was in
a car during the ten minute period we had reserved.
But at the same time, we did send him a
bad number. So it's our fault. So no, it's the assistance.

(22:56):
It's the assist. Well, I'll take the blame for it.
It's our fault. Didn't happen. James was super nice. He
tried it, and I sent him. I sent him an
email back personally and I said, I completely understand. So
I for all the confusion, at least you tried I apologize.
He didn't even have to try. I didn't have to.
If it was me and somebody did that to me,

(23:17):
I'd have been like, I wouldn't even answer the phone
number one, but number two because I never answer the
phone doesn't matter who it is. And number two I
would have just been like, hey, tough luck. You guys
gave him this number. I called on the dot of
when you told me to call, and you didn't answer,
So I'm sorry. I got other things to do. I
got a life. That's how I would have been. James
is a much nicer guy than me. So anyway, yeah,

(23:39):
in a car with other people. Two thousand and six,
Jennifer Andason has been seen with none other than k
fed Kevin Fedlied. Oh yo yo dog.

Speaker 9 (23:52):
I bet that.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
I bet she gets pregnant with his forty third child.

Speaker 8 (23:56):
M I can't see that happening though. I mean, him
and Jennifer, he is just he amazes me. You know,
you got to give the guy credit. He talk about
he has no talent, he has nothing.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
The man is.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
I mean, he's a dancer. I have no room to
talk there, but I mean because I can't dance. But
my goodness, he's as dumb as.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
A box of rocks.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
And yet we're all sitting here talking about him. And
he's got Jennifer Scott, two kids with Britney Spears, and
now he's hanging out and hanging out your for instant
two of the most arguably beautiful women in the world.
The man is a total You know what, We're gonna

(24:42):
have to edit that.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
No, I don't know. Is that a bad word?

Speaker 9 (24:46):
Well?

Speaker 1 (24:47):
No, can we look that up and see if we
have to edit that sound?

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Do you even know what it is?

Speaker 1 (24:56):
No? The sound out of.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
You guys?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Want to look it up. Go to urban dictionary dot com.
You get edit it. Just we'll put a silencer on it.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
No, here goes.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Here's here's a description of it. A word to describe.
This is another spelling of it. A word describe an
individual who has shown themselves to be very brainless in
one way or another. You gotta read it.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
You gotta read it.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Well, stand it right now? Go ahead? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Well we'll just edit that now. No I did. I
just didn't put it in the right context. But we're
never thought. You know what, you go through the silence
every time that we said the word, you silence it,

(25:58):
And that would be a secret of the show.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Only us four will ever know what we were talking about.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Only you will ever care. This is the best of
