Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're about to enter the world of Michael Zavola. Now's
your change to turn back the batcave.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Michael, don't you red bull do uha or something like this.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I can't hear you. I'm just baze. That's what you're
thinking about.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
This is m Z.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Now.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
So I'm supposed to ask why you're not wearing sunglasses
or glasses.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
No, I'm not wearing my glass.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
What am I supposed to ask?

Speaker 4 (01:01):
You're supposed to ask why are you not worry?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Will pretend like I didn't do anything trouble, So Clark,
you're not wearing your glasses?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
No, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
To be fair, I don't know when you're actually wearing
glasses and when you're not.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
But well, okay, you know, here's the deal. I was
just gonna say it. Like my glasses, I don't know
where they are. So I've been wearing contacts the last
two days, okay, and I can't read like very you know,
up close with these things. But I'm pretty sure my
glasses are somewhere in my apartment.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
And I would imagine you don't leave.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Well, I'm pretty sure my cat has everything to do
with it.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Is he does?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
He take stuff and then throws it underneath the bed.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
No, that little well, I don't know, but Clark has
a hole in his bed. Oh yeah, well that's the
the mattress right in the in the box spring, in
the box spring.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, he tore that. You look like that, Sean as
a cat made met me. The cat made it. Sorry, Yeah, well.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
I made none some brand new box ring. That box
ring is like six months old, so you know everything's
cool with the box ring.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
The cat did it. Yeah, yeah, that's what.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Yeah, sure, so, I mean there's not been anything that
should rip up my box ring other than the cat.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Right.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
So anyways, what I'm trying to tell you is that
the cat hit my glasses by playing with him. I
heard him playing at night with something that was rolling
across my hardwood floors. So I'm pretty sure if I
see those glasses again, they're going to be scratched the hell.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Oh yeah, that's why I like my cat up in
the kennel.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Him up.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Get get him a big get him a big cage
where he's got plenty of room. Put a little bed
in there. If you don't put some food in there,
but say all right it's time for bed, and then
you put him in there and then the all night
the cats. Dude, your cat's probably has the personality of
a He will wake up when I wake up. And
then at some point, let's say he's got like he's
got a stomach isshoe mm hmm, he'll wake me up.

(03:02):
He'll bang on the door like, hey, I need to
get out. I need to go to the uh litter box.
But other than that, he if I sleep in, he's
sleeping in and he's not up to take if he
has to. That's one every you know, twice a year,
maybe twice a year. Maybe he wakes you up, Yeah,
I gotta go to the bathroom or a Belle movement. Yeah, Well,
because he's he didn't want to poop in his bed. Well,

(03:24):
I mean, I mean I can.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
He doesn't blame him, right, Like I don't lock my
cat up like it's a dog.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
That you do it with children, You say, go to
your room, you put them in the room, you shut
the door, bedtime. Okay, So I mean we're two different
cat owners. Right, is disciplined. You're on your first cat
for first and best. Right, Like, he's disciplined, he's he's drained.
He doesn't play with my glasses I don't have glasses.
But he doesn't play with my stuff. I mean, he

(03:51):
doesn't tear something. He's very polite. Well, you don't have
a chance. You have him locked up only eight hours
a night. That's it. You should have got shows of no,
because then that thing would have that thing would that
is twelve it's probably twelve hours is locked up.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
But that hard work command getting twelve snake.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
The snake would get out of the cage somehow, because
I forget to lock the cage. By the way, you
lock a snake snake now, Oh yeah, snakes need to
be any cat. That's what a cat does too, otherwise
they get into trouble.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Okay, well it's actually a trium and.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah a train, Yeah I saw that. Yeah uh.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
And then the next thing I know, I wake up.
I'm like what, I get a body pillow and the
snake's squeezing me to death?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
You know what I mean? Like I got a pythons. Oh,
it doesn't for all the movies I've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
The cat, because movies definitely tell the absolute truth. Right, Yeah, no,
that that's not how it works. But no, I wouldn't
trust you with a snake anything. You would let it die.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, because I would I would forget to feed it.
I would forget that I have, right, That's why I
have like a feeding thing for the cat that goes
off a trough. Oh no, No, it's like a timed
food thing. So he gets fed twice a day and
uh it feeds him automatically in the morning. I manually
feed him because it's part of my bonding moment with him,

(05:06):
you know, like we go to the bag together, we
get the food and we go to the thing. I
put the thing in. It's a it's a father son.
Get No he can't he can't have what food? No
he can't. No, he can't get Why can't food he's
got because he's got a hereditary something U t I
prone thing. So now he's on. I got to buy

(05:29):
this cat monthly food. That's prescription food. Every it comes in,
it's it's automatically building. They melt it in. He's got
he's got a special diet. So I have a special
needs cat. What do you got?

Speaker 4 (05:42):
You know, I got to take care of it. People
would have put it down.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Has a cat that has the ability to make a
glory hole. Everybody has a talent.

Speaker 7 (05:50):
Yeah, yeah, but Clark's cat is also scared of absolutely everything.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Scaredy cat, absolutely everything. Yeah, but I don't.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Think caging would be good for his psyche.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Get him a bit. He didn't have to be like
in a kennel. He could be in a big indoor
cake are trying you could fit in your bedroom.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Build a chicken coop for my cattle.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Just get a big cage and you put a little
bed in there. You put a little if you want to,
if it's big enough, put a litter box in the water.
He'll be so comfortable. He'll just train him. Just house
train your cat, No, dude, like they're trying to have
wild animals. I think what I'm gonna do is I'm
gonna be the leash. Yeah. Yeah, you can do that too.
I have a leash from my cat.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
So all right, Uh, well we're back from go ahead.
What were you saying.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
I was going to say we were going to talk
about Vegas? Yeah, yeah, in the first ten minutes and
Clark's cat, Well in Vegas wasn't that eventful. So it
was actually glass Oh yeah, glasses are old than to Yeah.
Then they talk about more parents innership. Yeah, it's everyone's
parenting style is different. You let your cat run wild.
I My cat is very trained and you know, and

(06:51):
we'll well behaved and we'll see whose cat will become
a mass shooter.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
So speaking of shootings, we went to Vegas.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Yeah, oh yeah, So speaking of getting lost.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
In areas, so we we we went to Vegas for
Star Trek. We originally had a plan just to recap.
We originally had a plan for uh, you know, that
convict Lola. But uh, but then you know, she got
locked up and we had to make some changes, and
so we brought in you know, we an vived her
and we brought in new Lola. And we were trying

(07:24):
to Eric and I were trying to talk about what
kind of bit will we do? And I kept pitching
ideas and Eric was like, you've already done that. We've
already done this. We've done that, We've done this. We
did that three times. And so then he came up
with an idea that I was like, oh, that's a
good idea, and so said we'll pitch to Sean. Sean
said yes, And then we went to Vegas and we
don't know, like, we don't know how she would do

(07:45):
in public, like in an interviews setting, and so we're like,
we'll just we're planning on going anyway, We'll just see
how it goes. And uh, I think she did pretty good.
What do you think, Eric? Yeah? I didod Uh We
Sean and I were on the same flight. Eric shows
up at midnight basically, so Sean and I show up,
We get dinner, you know, we get our in the rooms.

(08:06):
I check everybody in, but I didn't think about this.
I was gonna get all the keys and Eric's not
in yet. So then Sewn's like, well, you can tell
them to hold a key for Eric whenever he comes in.
You can just go to the front desk and whatever.
So that's a great idea. So I don't I can,
cause I'm I don't know if we're going to be
in the hotel or if I'm gonna be asleep. I
don't want to have to worry about it. So we
tell the lady upfront to go do that, right, Well,

(08:29):
she never tells me which one is my room. She
gives me two keys, and so I'm just gonna pick one,
and I picked the one that's furthest from everybody, and
I thought that would be fine. And you know, he
would just have a key or whatever. He could say, Hey,
I need this room key. I told him what room
I was in and what room he would be in,
and that was it. Well, I knew there was gonna
be a problem. So I'm literally in the hotel room

(08:52):
at like ten thirty and I'm watching Star Trek because
I couldn't watch on the plane as a paramount, plus
a whole other situation. But uh, I'm I'm literally I'm
ready to go to sleep. So I send an alarm
for an hour because I see Eric's plane coming in,
like he's in the air and it was going to
land at what eleven thirty is when you landed at
night something like that, And so I was like, well,

(09:13):
I'll set an alarm for like twelve o'clock so you know,
if there's an issue or whatever. I turned my ringer
on so if he calls, so I text him, was like, hey,
if there's a problem, let me know. So sure enough,
there was a problem. They gave him the key to
my room, and so I was like, well, let me
come downstairs, say I'm already at your door, and so
I opened the door. There he is. I give him

(09:34):
his keys. You literally flew out of Dallas like ten thirty. Yeah,
and he said that was the only flight. I thought
maybe that was the only flight that was available. Maybe
there were because Spirit used to have like five flights
a day to Vegas, especially on a Friday. There was
only two flights, one at twelve and one at ten thirty. Yeah.
And then they're saying that Spirit may not be around
for the other twelve months, so some switched the frontier.

(09:58):
Is that what you're going to do.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (10:00):
Maybe I know they have the credit card where you
can get a free companion whatever.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You get it with the credit card, or after you
spend a certain turn out on the credit card. Huh what not?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Sorry?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Do what you know?

Speaker 4 (10:14):
I just didn't turn out on the credit Why you
have bad credit? No credit? Have too many credit cards?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Now you want to hook him up with a specially
that special benefits. No, I don't. I want to do anything.
So then we wake up early in the morning. I'm
just stilling a teen out on the credit card. You
usually skipped over a whole what I wash? He goes,
was it entertaining?

Speaker 6 (10:40):
Yeah, we went to the top of the world. Had
people was dang their hanging themselves off the side of.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Forgot about that? I mean, you forgot about that part.
So we stayed at the strat because all the hotels
it's the Stratosphere, but now it's called the Strap.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
You should know it because you were living at.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Yeah, the circus, the Circus, we got it there. I
did not lives there. Oh what did you do there?
You worked there?

Speaker 5 (11:03):
You were born there?

Speaker 3 (11:04):
No, Carson City is where I'm from. Oh got it?
It was where I was What do I do with circus? Circus?

Speaker 4 (11:10):
That's where we would that's where we would stay when
we go to Vegas as a family because it was cheap. Yeah,
and it's family friendly.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Right, I mean you know, so we got to the
hotels we normally stay at were all booked. I don't
know what other conventions were in town. Definitely was it
because of Star Trek convention? Uh? But uh so we
went to the top of the Stratosphere, right, and.

Speaker 6 (11:34):
It's called top of the World, top of the wordes.
So there's just a panoramic view. All these windows are open,
and so we're sitting there at the bar which faces
the windows.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
We're just you know, watch people have their birthday dinners.
It's so cute and elegant, and then you just see
people kind of.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Pulled off the side of the building out of nowhere,
and I'm like, these two things don't match, Like it
could be like really cute drinks. Some of your drinks
had like a floating pool dog and some pandas like
it was cute.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Well, let's go back to the catapulting people.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Well, we don't know. I don't know if there was
a side convention in town or what. You went from
catapulting people to garnishes and drinks. Well, I just wanted
to know how it got there.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
It was a very whimsical time. It all happened at
the same time.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Yeah, you're sitting there like, hey, look these have umbrellas and.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Exactly my god.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Yeah. Literally, by the way, never saw these people come
back up? No, we did. Okay, did you look into this? No?
Did anybody else seem concerned? We had been.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
You just got off a plane. You know, we're tired now,
which is also, by the way, let me go back
to this. It's like Heaven's Gate in town.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
It might of course, they weren't paying to just a
bunch of something baddies like selfie And then there's people
just falling off the building.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Behind right, like, okay, yeah, it was. It was pretty wild.
I also know, listen, I know we've done enough for
these twenty four hour trips, same day trips, uh to
know that people are going to be exhausted by you know,
if you're not properly prepared for this, you're going to
be pretty exhausted. So right before we get on the plane,
Sean's like, we're gonna do this, and we're gonna do this,
and why'm gonna get you to do this? As soon
as we land the plane hadn't even parked yet, She's like, man,

(13:03):
I didn't need a nap. I'm tired.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
I'm ready to do what we're gonna doing. The rest
of y'all was lolly ganger th.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Right, She's like, if I had a nap, i'd be good.
But I'm tired. I know, I know you are. And
so we took her to the Star Trek Convention. Now,
I think that your thought of the Star Trek Convention
is probably what mine was before I ever went, which is,
you know, probably a bunch of old people there, nerds, right,
what was your original thought?

Speaker 6 (13:27):
I mean, I was definitely expected some cosplay. I didn't
know the actual actors showed up, so, uh was his name?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
LeVar from Rena Rainbow. Var Burton was there. I thought
that was cool. And even though I see the show,
it's some fine stuff on there. I told you, Yeah,
what she's like a specimens on there. She's like, it's
on all the old actors. I thought it was gonna be.
I don't know what it was.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
I did know that people were going to show up,
a show out and some of them costumes were a lot.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
And was it bigger than you thought it was going
to be? Sorry, I'm talking the convention. So the convention,
I personally thought it was going to be bigger. But
what about the other thing? What other thing? The dessert
that we got.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
You missed it. Never flew a spirit right over the head. Yeah, anyway,
I'm over here focused on a convention. Yeah, but you
thought it was going to be a bigger convey But
there's a lot of people there. It was a decent
amount of people. By the way, it's a five day conveyed.
This was the longest convention. They they started on Wednesday
this year. Yeah, and we just showed up on Friday Saturday,

(14:30):
and we were out of there by one o'clock on Saturday,
which is the busiest day. But I think that you
did really good on the question. You know, we set
her up with a few questions. I think we were
coming up with the video, you know, kind of editing
in a real time as far as what should we
do here and what should we do here? And I
think it came out really good. I think you did
a good job. And then we went to go eat
a buffet and then we flew back.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Okay, wait a minute, right there. It's always an experience
when you go to a buffet. So how'd that go down?

Speaker 8 (14:55):
It was when you were there?

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yeah, I have said, did he shame you in the
eating the buffet? Did you eat the buffet?

Speaker 3 (15:04):
It was very dead set on going to a.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
But did he shame you into eating? He just did
he bully you in eating the damn buffet?

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Believe me, if anything sol was bullying has to go right.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
She went to each, Okay, you won't play with the
hand like this.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
You're You're right.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
That's a completely different experience than I had.

Speaker 6 (15:25):
I had them out there talking about type ish. You
know what I'm saying yeah, we was on, but the
buffet was whatever. I don't I honestly feel like Vegas
ain't been the same since before the pandemic.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
That's one crack. But I will say the buffet I've
been to that Palm's buffet, the same one. We went
to the same one. Okay, we've been there three times.
Its okay, here's the bit that's gotten bad. Good. It's good.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
It's just not as good as you would as it
used to be. It's definitely that is true.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
My favorite was the World Buffet at the Rio. When
we'd go to the Starfring convention, we would go. I would
go there three or four times, sometimes while we were there,
and of course that closed down because of COVID, and
you know, now you got to win, which I think
is the best buffet, but it's more prices, hard to
get in, and since our time is so limited, it's
we can't really get in there. But anyway, the other
thing I do want to mention is I did see

(16:15):
Terry Metallism from here Carway. I was right up. I
had him. I paid for two autographs so I can
get that time with him. John Delancey was not around,
so O get good I get rid of my sight
right uh. And then as soon as we got to
walk up, Michelle heard from Star Trek season one, two
and three, says Terry, I want to meet I want

(16:36):
you to meet this person. Blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
They have a whole meeting with my little two things
ready to touch him. And then I I, do you
know everything we practice?

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I did it? No?

Speaker 4 (16:46):
No, no, no, no, he okay, here's here's what I walked up.
Here's what happened. Okay, he saw you, he knew. He
called Michelle. I was like, no, no, no. He gave her
a signal. You didn't catch it. Probably he's like, hey, there's.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Going to be this guy might have a little bit
of a lamp. What do you mean? What do you mean?
What do you mean? Why would I have a lamp?
Because you're you know, your leg? What about it? I
didn't want to say.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
Why did you bring it in?

Speaker 3 (17:11):
What do you want?

Speaker 5 (17:11):
You don't want to set a lamp about this?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Talked about this handicapped Catherine. You know about the leg.
We don't care about the lag that shot you. That's right,
shot me with ye that's right. She she puts, she
moved the cover.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
It is, but no, Yeah, he gave her a signal
it would not surprise her.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
So we go up there. Here's two things for I
was the Star Trek but Card Season three DVD cover
or Blu ray cover, and then it was The Twelve Monkeys,
two of his loves. Right, these are the shows he's
very passionate about. So I get up there and I
felt like that's going to be my end. Hey, Terry,
and he's right next to what's the guy's name, the

(17:57):
other guy from that we had on the show, Todd Todd. Yeah,
he's right next to Todd. Their tables are together, and I go,
we had Todd on, we need to get you on
the show, talk about this? How's this? You know? How
was your he just shot a Marvel show. How was
that good? You know? And the whole time I'm trying
to get him to agree to come on the show,
which he did. And then I said, do you have

(18:19):
the same people? Is this and that? So I thought
I asked Eric. Eric was with me the entire time,
and I was like, as we walked off, I'm like
he wasn't into this, was he? And Eric goes, no,
I think he was. He just had a lot going on?
Is that looking back at it, do you think that's
was I too creepy? Was how would you rate?

Speaker 4 (18:36):
No?

Speaker 5 (18:36):
No, you weren't creepy at all.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
No, I think you pulling out the Child Monkeys DVD cover.
He was shocked by that because he was like, oh
my gosh, I haven't seen one of these in like years.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Yeah, and then what do you say?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (18:50):
He wanted to write like showrunner or something on it.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Yeah, and I said, don't worry about that, because I
already know who you are. It's for me. Yeah, I
didn't tell I didn't talk about the shrine.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
No, you didn't talk about that.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah, the shrine has been gone for a little while. Yeah, right, but.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
It's right there. We can in two seconds. I could
build it a game.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
It would fall apart there, Yeah, problem with it, would know.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
He seemed very sincere about whatever you asked him about
coming out. He goes, yeah, for sure, is that?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
You know?

Speaker 3 (19:15):
We talked about the night Rider car. He seemed interesting,
but again he was like his attention was everywhere but
on the conversation. That's okay though, But so we already
reached out to his people. They're working on it.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Now.

Speaker 7 (19:28):
Well.

Speaker 8 (19:28):
Also, I think me holding the camera it wasn't a
good look for the addition. Yeah, I felt like I
felt insecure about that, and I was like, I should
have had this camera.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Oh you mean this at this time? Yeah, this time
around you but you were just you were hanging it
by your side. It wasn't like you were filming it.
Well I had it face down. Yeah, oh my again
in front of me, face down. No, you were fine.

Speaker 8 (19:47):
So like but his hands and I kept looking at
it like are you recording? Yeah, well it was down,
So I think it was fine.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
The way I did it with who he lose right
from around the corner.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Yeah, well we did.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
That the first year. It was like far away. We
did that for the first year. Yeah, the first year. Yeah,
Eric was filming me and I was oh okay.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
So then he got the courage to go up in
corner of the man. No, no, no, I went up
and well you didn't pay you did, Yeah, you paid
for it's so anyway, we'll see if he's going to
come on the show. Really, and it was such a
great time, Like like I said, we were only there
for a few hours.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
And quick though, was the dude you ambushed in the bathroom. No, no, no,
that was I didn't bathroom.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
That's how we first, that's what I wanted to.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
And Eric was sitting watching the stuff.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
You was one to the bathroom, ran out the bathroom
talking about such and such a bathroom, and then he
came out and then he got ambushed by other people,
and then you waited.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
No, here's the thing. I was peeing and I look around.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Yeah, while was looking around the room, Wow, you're going, yeah,
I get a look for my surrounding. I'm the prey
of the animal, keeping them. You know, before you start, Oh,
I did it. But I'm always constantly in surveillance. And uh,
you know at that Star Trek convention, you know, I've
said some bad stuff about some of these TV shows.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
I don't want to. I don't want to after obviously
I already got ops. We'll wrap back around there. I
don't want no ops trying to offer me in the bathroom.
So I look around and I see a guy named vic.
I forget. I don't know how to say his last name.
I'll figure it out before he comes to the show.
But he's from Dallas and he did. He's an actor.
He does voiceover work. And he does.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
He did.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Star Trek continues, was just like a web series they did,
and they did it so well. Really looked like in
the sixties version. Like if I played the sixties version
and then played an episode of Start Trek continues to
think it would be the same thing with just different actors,
you know. Uh, he plays Captain Kirk and that anyway,
they did a great job. I've always wanted to have
him on the show. And I looked around. I saw
that a guy had stopped him the bathroom as he
was trying to go to the bathroom, and I thought

(21:46):
that was ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
So I walk out, and they walk out together, and
the guy introduced him to his family or whatever whoever
he was with. So I'm waiting until they're done, and
then I go, vic, Hey, I'm Michael Zavalla. Is Eric
Starr sean? Oh yeah, she was filming from behind. So
I go, uh, we're do you still live in Dallas?

(22:08):
And he goes yeah, yeah. I said, we'd love to
have you on our show. Here's the information, blah blah
blah blah blah, here's what we do. Uh you know,
let's let's figure all that out. He goes, yeah, just
email me, so what's your email and he's like, what
do you say? Like, oh, I think you just google
it or something like that. Yeah, Oh, he didn't have
any cards. We don't have any cards. We need to
start bringing.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
Car digital card.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Dude, your digital card, but you know how I know,
but I tried to bring it out. It's so you
can't tap anymore. The TAP's gone. I don't know what
happened to it. So now you've got to scan the
q R cardure. It's a mess. I'd rather just handle.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
A lot of people that asked for our cards is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah, and then you think the cards are gone, like
no one uses them anymore, but people have them. So
luckily one of the cast members from The Star Trek
continues was also with him. I didn't recognize him, but
he gave me a card. Say hey, just email me,
I'll get it all forwarded over. So we handle that.
So I would have vic In here. He's really cool.
That's his name, Yeah, and he's Dallas based, really cool

(23:02):
actor guy. And then people didn't know we walked down
the first thing in the morning, we're taking photos of
Sean in front of our video of Sean in front
of the Star Trek sign and in the big lobby there,
and Jess Bush is standing right there watching us. Jess Bush,
she was on the show. Oh I thought you said
Jeb Bush. No, No, he was He's still Florida. Okay, cool.
And then I was going to say hi, I was

(23:24):
we'll see her later because she was watching. I'm wearing
like the same type of shirt that I was wearing
the last time we met her, and then when we
did the interview, so she's recognizing us, and I wanted
to go say hi, but I'm like, that's kind of weird.
I'll wait to wear at her booth and then she's
selling her jewelry and I was like, I'll buy one
of these jewelry things. And I'm thinking maybe seventy five
bucks or something.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Well, all of us have terrible eyes, and we're all
trying to find the price on the thing, and it's like,
at least it's three numbers. So I'm like, okay, we'll
figure it out. So I go to the thing. I'm like,
can I buy one of these art piece things? And
they go yeah, but it's cash only, and then I go, oh, well,
let me go to the ATM and get cash out
and I'll I'm back and then we just didn't come back.

(24:02):
So and that's one of my biggest regrets in life.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Okay, real quick, did you meet my favorite couple.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Dudes straight by the way? We found that out?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Sorry, yeah, well I wasn't.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
I didn't give it up the ground with the meat Yep.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
Well, Sean found out. So she asked the right questions,
like somebody.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Well, I mean, if I ask, I'm an asshole.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
She well, she didn't have to ask that way. It
just like came out organically.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Well, I mean I don't ever steer conversations that way
to where it's like, hey, you know you guys all
are you put your hand.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
On their shoulder? What team you played? I see you
guys here? A lot guys three years in a row. Yeah,
what was their gimmick this year? One of them was
Captain Pike serving breakfast or barbecuing, and the other one
was Nurse Chapel I guess from the original series or something.
I don't know what, I can't remember, but they were there,

(24:56):
and I'm like, we interviewed him every year. We have
to talk to them, so Sean did that. I oh, Janeway,
that's right. And then yeah, they had a friend just
playing like a ukulele walking around. What were their names?
Is one of them Peter? I have no idea. All right,
well one of them Peter and Peter's friend. And but
I will say this, if we're comparing Sean and Clark,

(25:19):
we were there for the probably the same amount of
time we always are, right Eric, you think it was
like a couple of hours, maybe the most. And Sean
probably interviewed seven or eight people during that time, and
first time, never done this before. It took a little
bit to get started. Thank god. We had that first
girl that came up to her. She goes somebody says tattoos,
and then I said, well, let's she seems cool interview her.

(25:42):
So with Clark the same amount of time, I said, Clark,
let's try to do like six or seven interviews, and
Clark will get three and he's like, dude, I think
we got it. I think we got it. This is
there's nobody, there's nobody wants to be talked to. Dude,
this is lunacy. This is we can we can pull
them up. We can pull him up. I still got
the once from last time. To be fair, who you're
going to talk to? Oh yeah, yeah, I would talk

(26:04):
to Sean. Yeah, yeah, for sure that that is a
fair point. But Clarks. Here's what Clark does, and we
have b roll of him just doing it. He'll just
stand on the corner and he'll just look because he's
trying to find somebody he's con vibe with really quick.
Instead of just being like, you should just pull the
Heimi method, which is Heimika everybody stand up in front
of he would just walk in front of the car.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
The crowd kind of creepy about it too, though.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yeah, he's like, you were walking mine of your own
business and a six to two, you know, hey, three
hundred pound guy, he would jump in front of you
and he would just be like, you will be on
the radio and that's it. And some people would be
like that's he would get that reaction, but you don't
get You get a lot of interviews that way when
he would do comic Conzer did all the time.

Speaker 6 (26:46):
But that's not even Clark's vibe. And I, to be fair,
did the same thing. I was off in the cut
right and then when I saw something I was vibing
with but you get we.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Went for it. You did more in the same amount
of time.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
Yeah, I mean yeah, but still he went for it
because I'm so adorable. You a hater and shout out
to Anthony that was there, because he was fine, like
the black dude that had that was pretending to be
blind whatever care he was.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Playing Jordi, he was playing LaVar Burton's character.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
Yeah, either way, Like if you listen to Anthony, like I.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Don't, don't reach out, she's gonna ruin you. Anthony, Anthony
was such a nice guy.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
Listen if if you want to let me cosplaying a
bedroom like it's whatever, like he was.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
He was it.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
So that's a perfect that's he's so innocent. Even in
the video. I was like, oh, let me feel the biceps.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
He was like, oh my gosh, Like yeah, yeah, but
you don't don't ruin him.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Anthony was a good game. I like it though. Anyway,
he had a whole career in front of him, going
to be a doctor or something. Anyway, what are you saying, Clark,
then we gotta take a break. Uh No, I mean
here's the deal.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
When it comes to Star Trek, Like I would totally
totally uh say that with.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Sight unseen, you're better than me.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Well you haven't seen the videos yet, I wouldn't say that. Well,
but y'all, y'all, or even.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
So, then my interviews are more efficient, but she will
go for more.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I would say they're both efficient. She's just grabbing us
more at bat right, right, right, right, Yeah, that's what
you need to do. Learn from that, okay, and then
now you'll be good. All right, I'll be back. I
gotta talk about what's going on here break.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Now Online and ms now dot TV. Hello.

Speaker 3 (29:21):

Speaker 8 (29:23):

Speaker 4 (29:26):

some resumes and I got my papers mixed up.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
I'm so sorry. Okay, I'm sorry about that. Do you
have any specials going on right now?

Speaker 6 (29:48):

Speaker 3 (29:49):

Speaker 1 (29:51):

Speaker 4 (29:53):
No by two hours get one free or anything like that. No, okay,

Speaker 1 (30:02):

you hear this sound.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Well, I don't know naked women are involved.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Well, I mean i'd still be distracted just because it's
something to take in. But you know, right, how much
of it can you? This is m z now.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
H m hm mm.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Hmmmmmm m z now Michael online at m z now
dot TV.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
I don't want to be a player, no, mot who's
saying this? The pun? And Joe, I don't know. I
just have Richard kind one and I actually met him
before he died. But Richard Kind.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
He's big pun You tell you a joke, no, so
funny story real quick.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I used to live in Hey. When people say funny story,
it's a story. If it's funny, well.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
Yeah, because you don't be funny half the time.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Anyway, I was a child. I was in the.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
Car we used to shut up being Ladera Heights. So
we were coming down the street and he was in
this huge van and I'm waving because I recognized him,
and my aunt couldn't tell who he was.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
So she just see a man.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
And she's like hollering that my daughter, she's a child,
and he's cracking up, trying to like explain to her,
like it, it's cool, it's cool. So he had his
name on his license plate, so when he drove off,
she recognized, Oh snap, I just cussed out a wrapper.
And that's that was my experience meeting big fun rest
in Peace.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Was that a funny story? Oh?

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Are you asking me anybody? I liked it?

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Okay, I liked it too. It was interesting.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
You think it's funny because you're not the gatekeeper of funny.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
If you started, if you start a story with funny story,
to start with an interesting story. That's what you start with.
Funny can also mean peculiar.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
Maybe if you pick up a dictionary, okay, in a cage,
you know something particular story story, peculiar story anyway, because
he just don't like the attention I being on him.
What do you want to say?

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Mike's Clark? When you do go to a convention? I
think the next thing you should do is stump Clark again.
So when you went up to ask people to give
you questions and then you try to do the answer,
I think that we should do another one of that
of those what in the hell did you just say?
Clark had a hard time following when you go do

(32:40):
comic cons When I go, do you said when I
go do conventions? Right? Okay, you're going to do stump Clark.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
I'm going to part two okay, because you're done to
part one okay, like three years ago?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Got it? And it's when you ask people to ask
you questions, right, and then you try to answer them
and then you know half the time they did know
they answer or whatever. I think it was still a
fun bit. We should do that because we're probably we're
in talks right now. Taking the night Rider car to
the Dallas Fan Festival. I think it's what it's called
in October, so I don't know. I emailed them and

(33:13):
just be like, hey, can I park the car out
I'm gonna be there anyway, kind of park the car
out by like the food trucks for a couple hours
while we're in there. And then they go, well, we
might they send an email back. I don't know if
they're gonna want to use it and put it behind
William Daniels whenever he's taking pictures or what so, Uh,
you guys, can I use it whatever you want. It's
just sitting in a car port right now.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
I wonder if you should let them know that they
need to have a tarp there for when you know,
it starts leaking oil all over the It doesn't leak
my hair.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
What is going on? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (33:49):
I didn't put any moose like I'm hey, listen, guys,
woke up.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
I went for a walk this morning.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
It's Rookie and Arsenal played and yeah, it's a lot
we want.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
So give me a break.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
There was a lot of coffee. I drank a lot
of coffee. And there's another one in the wired Yeah
I am, but there's no oil. Like the guys that
worked in the car didn't pretty good jobs.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
There's nothing.

Speaker 7 (34:11):
The only warning they need is the black don't raise
it up off the ground.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Sorry, yeah, what color again?

Speaker 3 (34:17):
I said? The pink?

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Pink, pink. The car is black.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
It's pink, right, yeah, Please do not send any children
underneath the car. Yes, it's a rental warning only warning.
There's pink parts car. Yeah, please don't look under which
you know? Why would you do? I look up your skirt,
don't look up my cars? What's going on here? You
know about you? You don't know about his car? No,
I never even seen it in real life, the night

(34:41):
Rider car. Well, I don't haven't. Nobody's seen it. It's
really a myth.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
If we thought I've seen it, I've seen it.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
No, not in real life. We were supposed to. I
think you're thinking about the that we're going to do thing.
We have not seen this car hearing about, He said,
have mechanical issues, but those are fixing. But also, but
what was the use? It lives in another state. It's
another sculpture. What's the unique feature, Mike?

Speaker 5 (35:02):
It talks?

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Well, well, yeah, it talks. It's a it tops if
it doesn't. What's the pink part a pink mal it's
a male. Uh, somebody spray painted before I got it.
Somebody spray painted a pink dong at the bottom of
the car and never we never knew about it. I
found out because I took it as a mechanic to
get work done. And the guy goes, did you know

(35:24):
that this was underneath the car?

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Just know?

Speaker 3 (35:26):
He goes, you, bro, you need to ask your money
back for a spray paint kidding me? Just spray painted black.
That's it. You don't have to do it. My glasses
back on so I can see a b I'll talk about.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
No, I haven't seen it either, is what's great?

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Is uh?

Speaker 2 (35:38):
It was an auction of sorts, right, Yeah, it was
an auction.

Speaker 7 (35:42):
There were pictures of it, plenty of pictures of it, yep,
just not any of the underside that showed the pink dong.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
It's apparently on like the transmission pan, and the transmission
pan is not in the photos. Like nothing in that
front section is under it. So it was there probably
in Florida, and nobody blacked it out, which I don't care.
We talked about it.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Should we remove it?

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I mean, it's content.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
It's great. We're gonna shoot a video at some point
where I go take it to mechanic and they put
it up on the lift and we see the video.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
I'm going to act surprise and you can make a
song and then blurt it out.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
You can make a song. I see a pink dong.
I don't want to chain it black.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
I don't want pink dongs.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
No, mo, I don't want a pink do my Yeah,
that's a good one. All right. Here's the two tenty
twenty five savory finalized from the State Fair of Texas.
Brisket and brew stuffed pretzels.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
So there's there's there's beer brisket in the pretzels.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
I don't know, but it looks good. Okay, it sounds good.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
You can get a beer with it in mozzarella aaron
Cini that I like that fantastic. Yep.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Have you ever had aaron Ceni? No? I don't know
what it is.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
So basically it's balls of risotto that are kind of
lightly breaded and saw tade. But it has like risotto
and cheese in it and herbs and it's fantastic. So
that one has crab in it so that's that's already
my number one.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
I already like usually I'm watching this list, I'm like,
I don't I wouldn't try any of this stuff, but
so far I would try the first two. Deep fried
deli tacos.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
Okay, So jack in the box right right, Vietnamese crunched
all okay?

Speaker 3 (37:19):
So what are what makes it Vietnamese?

Speaker 2 (37:22):
It's the way it's prepared. It's probably sugar. There's a
lot of sugar on the outside, juicy marinatea.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Se Asian flavors. I can't read. Can you eat a
mean kong a delta?

Speaker 2 (37:36):
These are all paired with beer.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Interesting wagu bacon cheeseburger with deviled egg sliders. No, no, no,
So that's it. That was the finalist. The first two
I think are great. I would I'm with Clark, I
would take the crab in uh mozarella aaron Cini. I
would take that. That would be my number one. Yeah.
Will I go to the state for for this? No?
You go? No, here's the street chocolate cheesecake. Okay. So

(38:02):
the other day I was I went to seven eleven
and had one Dubai chocolate in the box. By the
twenty dollars this thing cost. I bought it because it's
I've been eyeing it because I'm like, I've never had
Dubai chocolate, sar.

Speaker 6 (38:14):
Anytime you want some do buy chocolate. Tell me, I'm
I'm surrounded by mediterranees. You could have got it for
ten bucks. Any would have been homemade. Quick playing with me?

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Well, I don't know, we're playing. I'm sorry. Uh no,
So I got like what people od on the prices
of it. Well, I wasn't gonna eat the whole thing.
I was going to share it. So I was gonna
split it's four pieces in this bar, and I was
going to sell each one for ten bro Okay, so
what is your conclusion? I'm the plug. It was an
overrated tastes like a higher end Reese's pieces peanut butter

(38:41):
cup exactly. I will never do it again. And you know,
I hop for something Danny's or somebody's doing, like the
pancake to buy breakfast pancake deal. It's one hundred and
eighteen dollars or something. You guys, put peanut butter on
that hoe. It makes it one hundred and eighteen dollars.
The Dubai Choco Oh Gold flakes are they can put
the gold flakes on the golf face amaz off a
twenty dollars yeah, or go to empty a bottle of

(39:02):
Gholschlagger or eight gold like a dumb ass candy Lemon
sour face chill and thrilled delight?

Speaker 4 (39:11):
Do you buy chocolate cheese that lemon chills?

Speaker 3 (39:14):
So as much as I don't like to buy chocolate,
the cheese, the cheesecake I'm kind of down for, so
I'd like to try it. It's not something that I
have to have. Have you been to the dipped place
they used to eat? Okay? Yeah, I love that the fair, yes,
and I missed. That was the only thing I really
really wanted to try. And like a few months ago,
I realized we're at Texas Live down here, which is

(39:35):
right down the street from us, which I don't know
why we don't go down there more often. Uh, And
they have a dipped place in there was so good
to buy chocolate, funnel cake and fries. I don't care
about that.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
So we have two d Bui chocolates and then Texas
Toast all the mode so it's basically fringe toast with
ice cream.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
And then the twenty twenty five Sipper finalists of the drinks.
This is Eric's favorite, so coconut quadruple. You get the
little peach drink, don't you what it may? Much of
it was the pineapple drink.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
It's a dull Oh yeah yeah, pineapple coconut quad so
pinking pina colada.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Yeah, sorry what you call it?

Speaker 4 (40:15):
I'm sorry? I should watch my mouth.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
Put you were, you were thinking about my What is it?
What is? What does it say on it?

Speaker 4 (40:22):
Like?

Speaker 3 (40:22):
What are the ingredients?

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Coconut flakes?

Speaker 4 (40:26):
It's a whole fresh young coconut, That's what it says,
old fresh, young coconut.

Speaker 7 (40:31):
It's four different coconut. It's four different versions of coconut. Okay,
And like, rum, I don't see alcohol?

Speaker 3 (40:39):
No, I don't, there's nothing in there. Okay.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
So it's a virgin peanut clauda okay, Cookie chaos milkshake, No,
thank you, my stomachache chaos. Yes, the state fairs were
not off of Harry Heine.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Where is this? Go?

Speaker 4 (40:55):
Get some couchie cake.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
This is the After Dark Fair.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
Tell you of Spearmint Rhino for your Coochie cake shake,
Cookie Chaos milkshake. You won't set it again he did
hot honeycomb lemonade shake up. Okay, it's like a it
looks like a cheap margarita you would.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Buy someone.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
Popping boba rita.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
Now that looks interesting again, doesn't have alcohol in it
like it has has a margarita. Okay, what kind of boba?

Speaker 4 (41:30):
The better be alcohol few wine infused, wine infused. That's correct.
So everything you see is going to be wine based. No,
thank you. They can't do liquor. They can't do liquor.

Speaker 6 (41:44):
It needs a partner with cut water so they can
get some real alcohol in here.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
That's insane. And then uh, Nevin's dirty red Bull. I'll
get to that. I remember you keep reminding me Nevin's
dirty red Bull text rita.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Okay, I don't know about that. That's just a red bull.
And what is the vodka? That's basically what it is?
Well wine.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Yeah. What's insane is they're going to alcohol prices. Well yeah, so, uh,
you're not from here originally, Sean. You've been here for
how many years?

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Four?

Speaker 3 (42:13):
Long enough to have been to the fair. You have
been to the fair as they only have one alcoholic bar,
so as somebody who didn't grow up going there like
we did, would do you enjoy the fair? Like, what's
your take as a newbie.

Speaker 6 (42:25):
I'm gonna be honest, I feel like it's just an
excuse for people to big back. Because a big excuse
for people to big back.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (42:33):
Break it down for me?

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Please?

Speaker 6 (42:34):
Basically you just pick out let's not basically yeah, just
od on the calories.

Speaker 4 (42:40):
Okay, so like cheat cheat day, but for for the.

Speaker 3 (42:44):
Whole your livered to damn near be gone.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
Okay, So basically it's Super Bowl Sunday and basically and Thanksgiving?

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Right, but and then the food is just two ob notch.
I feel like offen I totally agree with you on that, but.

Speaker 6 (42:56):
Texas do it bigger and more like hype behind it.
And then everything I tried was like.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
What about the rides?

Speaker 6 (43:04):
I'm gonna be honest with you. The few rides I
did get on was whatever. I know, teenagers run it,
so I already.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Know, like, hey, don't you're about to offend Eric? What
that's my favorite thing is the rides on the Pineapple thing? Right?
I thought you did know? Eric goes like now is
a season past. He goes like every week you're gonna
die on her somebody's gonna die on her. It's gonna
be Eric because he's riding that thing.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
No, it's just city.

Speaker 6 (43:27):
I just got trust issues because too many breakdown, even
at the six flags.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
Yeah here, ye rides are breaking down right like flag. Yeah,
I tell you know, she was from California. Like, how
do you say thirty five? You say the thirty five?
You say I thirty five or thirty five? You say
the thirty five.

Speaker 6 (43:45):
You know, I've never really said the streets are freeways
nothing out here, but yeah, the one in they don't want.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
One, they don't want five, the six eighty six, thirty five,
I take the six, Yeah, the one eighty three. That's
how you know when people say that when they're not
from here, they say, because of how we give direction,
you get the one tens to one o five Like
it just right, that's right now?

Speaker 1 (44:05):
All right?

Speaker 3 (44:05):
What's this clear water that you're talking?

Speaker 6 (44:09):
No, Like everything on my social media has been popping
up of people basically how the four Loco had us
in the chocol it's the cut waters for the kids,
hot waters, cut waters. They're tequila and or vodka based
all these different flavors. And when I tell you people
making BBC's not the ones you're thinking of, but like
all these mixed drinks, mixing that with a four locoll

(44:31):
with a nah, that ain't the BBC umkin oh okay,
familiar with but nah. I've just been seeing cut Water
everywhere and I just refuse to drink it. I don't
like following trends, but it's just so popular that it's
like I might have to break down.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
And it's the bottle says cut Water.

Speaker 6 (44:47):
Can they're little Kansas So you know how Smaranov's is
like only so much alcohol, these things hidden between like
ten to thirteen percent alcohol. Yeah, and everybody was underestimating them.
And then after two you know you and jail.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Yeah, or the only place that I see selling them
right now are a total wine more.

Speaker 3 (45:06):
That's the more part.

Speaker 6 (45:07):
I know Specs have them because I've seen them Specs
Jesus Christ. I'm not bringing up place a little more.
But yeah, Like I'm a part of a little friend
group called the Cutwater Crew. It was turned up. I'm
just one of the last ones to join the cult.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
Why don't you not do it? The cut I don't
have to drink the cool really like mixture.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
You know how you can get it from Walmart.

Speaker 6 (45:27):
It was nine am and I was thing about it.
How did you find that so fast?

Speaker 3 (45:32):
That's what they do.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
Okay, it's called the internet.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
People, Come on.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
I mean, I don't have my right. I got you,
I got you.

Speaker 6 (45:39):
But no, the cut waters are going crazy, so we
we might have to get on that.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
I'm good. I'm good to not do that. The mango,
I'm not. I'm not in experimental mode. Okay, I'll tell
you this.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
I will try I will definitely try this my tie
because that is my favorite.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
I'm gonna tell you guys.

Speaker 4 (46:01):
My tie is my favorite mixed drink, like from the
old school of traditional mixed drinks.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Okay, I know.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
It's fruity, there's nothing wrong with that, but this is
like one of those drinks that inspired every single fruity
drink afterwards.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Like my tie.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
The actual Hurricane that you can get New Orleans is
on this list. I mean those are just the first two,
so I know, to my tie what it takes to
make a real my tie. That would be the one
that I would be most interested in, because that's I mean,
can Margarita canned?

Speaker 3 (46:39):
Was it canned?

Speaker 6 (46:40):
They have?

Speaker 3 (46:40):
They have a bunch of different flavors, from white Russian
to margaret. I mean, mango is a bunch of different flavors.
Twelve and a half percent alcohol.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
That's pretty crazy.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
That's why. That's why I question it being sold at Well, no,
that's under that's wine more wine, that's the that's the
more part.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
All right.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
My favorite show right now that I'm watching, Eric, I
hope you're caught up and not having to restart and
watch the whole thing. Uh, Dexter Resurrection, Yes, and did
you are you caught up?

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Yeah? Kind of up and then incredible. Yeah, it's like
the best show. It gives me that anxiety. Like the
best thing about Dexter was watching him back in the
day was they always cornered Dexter and you're like, how
is he gonna get out of it? You know he's
gonna get out of it, but you have no idea how.
And then they just the writing's so great and they
brought that back. It's like peak Dexter again where it's like,
I don't know how he's gonna get out of this,
like this past I was watching this week's episode last

(47:34):
night and I was like at the edge of my seat, anxiety,
you know, because it's a really it was a really
good ending. The air pods Oh.

Speaker 8 (47:42):
Yeah, I know right, I was like yeah, I was
all like, oh he left the AirPods there, which is
pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
Yeah, it was a great I think the writing is
really creative for everyone should be watching the show.

Speaker 8 (47:51):
Yeah, it's incredible, I think, I think for me also
just to also, like, I guess the I guess it
would say nostalgia of like the characters right Ofsta coming back, yeah, up,
and then that relationship between him index he and all that.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
Yep. So it just good dynamic. So I love it.
I'm glad it's back. That's my favorite show I'm always watching.
I'm watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia as well. That's Peak Sonny.
Like they it feels like old Sonny again, Like the
shows are so good this season. What else critic is back?

(48:25):
Is back? Ctic? What do you mean it's back? Like
it just popped up on my TV. That's the original. Yeah,
so it's not bad. Is back for the first time
again to.

Speaker 4 (48:36):
Stream exactly runs which I never really watched I retired,
But what did he do?

Speaker 3 (48:43):
Come back? The same person but a bigger beat, but
he had new songs. This is the same episode. Okay,
all right, I do want to watch that. I never
watched as a kid. I was too young, you know,
but four kids. To be honest, the critic is pretty
I like, what's his face?

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Jay?

Speaker 3 (49:00):
No?

Speaker 6 (49:00):
No, black people never know actors' names, so no.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
America? Uh John? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (49:11):
John?

Speaker 3 (49:14):
I want to watch that. And then the the other
show that I really really and I enjoyed the first episode,
Oh Stranger World. I'll say, are you caught up? You
got to forget, to forget where you're at to start back?
You don't, it doesn't all go together. You're fine, but
it's so uh. I didn't really like this first few episodes,
but this last episode was really, really good. I really

(49:36):
enjoyed it. But I really am liking Alien Earth on Hulu.
Have you watched both the new episodes? I only watched
the first one both.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (49:45):
Is it pretty good? Do you like? No?

Speaker 5 (49:47):
Yeah? I like to I like it a lot. I
will say.

Speaker 8 (49:51):
At first, the directing cinematography style kind of was throwing
me off a little.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
Bit because it was like the old seventies.

Speaker 5 (50:01):
No, the set was fine.

Speaker 8 (50:03):
I loved all that, like this, the the opening, like
this set.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
I loved all that.

Speaker 8 (50:08):
It's I think once you get past that, you'll start
you'll start seeing on talking about I think you may
see it more in episode two. Okay, it's like there's
a scene and then it goes to black for like
a little maybe some sections a little too long, like
five to six sections like seconds, and then the next
thing starts, and I'm all like, okay, Like that's a choice.

Speaker 3 (50:30):
That's a choice. Choice.

Speaker 5 (50:31):
Yeah, I do like which I.

Speaker 8 (50:35):
Haven't really seen, and like I guess in a lot
of like movies or shows recently, he does like a
lot of like the overlays of scenes and then changes
to the transparency, so like one scene is overlapping the
other one.

Speaker 3 (50:51):
Like a music video.

Speaker 5 (50:52):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (50:53):
Yeah, So it's kind of an interesting take on it.
And there's some sections I think you have to actually
get to episode two where it's adding a lot of
suspense like whenever he does that.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
So the director is no uh, Noah Holly or how
what is his name, Noah Haley Holly something like that.
He's really good. He did he did a bunch of
stuff and that's it. That's it's a good show. I
think you should get Hulu just for that Clark about it, Well,
I'm I or Disney Plus? Am I supposed to get?

Speaker 2 (51:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (51:23):
Disney Plus going away? Yeah, so why would I get Hululan,
don't don't do plus? I forget what I said and
get Disney Plus all right, and then because it's all
going to be in the one app, well I want
it for Uh. Actually I started watching the new King
of the Hill.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Oh that's good too, fantastic it really, I was watching
on the plane all right. One thing I wanted to
throw out there is that after watching I think I
watched the first three episodes of it, and I can
tell you right now, I'm rooting more for Bobby Hill's
Dallas sushi restaurant than I am whatever restaurant's on the Bear, right,

(51:58):
screw that restaurant on the Bear.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
I want Bobby Hill to succeed. Yep, he got it.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
Bobby Hill opened a Japanese German fusion sushi sushi, sushi shashimi,
I don't know restaurant, Yeah, but it's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
The reason I'm rooting for Bobby I always you know,
as a kid, I would watch King of the Hill
when it was on, Like I never searched it out
and every now and then I'll turn it on here
and then I enjoy it. It's not something I'm a
huge fan of, but those the new season, the rebu
whatever you want to call it, because it's really just
a continuation, right, it's just like nine years later, yeah,
like twelve years later or something like that. Yeah, Bobby's

(52:34):
twenty one now. Yeah, so it's so good, huh. And
I understand why people like now I want to go back.
It makes me want to go back and rewatch all
the other yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
See, because it is okay because then they do like
they brought it back.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
Wait, like it went away and then they came back
for like two seasons of the I don't know.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
Maybe I don't know like it. I feel like it's
a did a family Guy thing exactly, okay? And South
Park yeah, and Rick and Morty and but.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
Yeah, that's not necessarily I haven't finished it because I'm like,
there's the two shows I really enjoy. I really like
in King of the Hill and then the Dexter Show.
I wait, I watched those like at the end of
the week when I have time, I can focus on
them and really enjoy I'm not trying to burn through them.
So I watch all the other stuff first, you know,
I don't have to pay attention to it, but those
are two shows I really want to like enjoy, and

(53:24):
then I think that's pretty much it. Spider wanted to
say something. Somebody passed away this week and uh oh yeah,
shout out.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
Spend any time all down in Deep Out.

Speaker 7 (53:33):
The guy right here on my monitor here was keyboard
Bob Dude would show up the shows everywhere, like it
wouldn't matter what kind of music was. He showed up
to some of the places I DJ and would dance around,
would sing, dance and do whatever.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Super cool guy. But he passed away last week.

Speaker 4 (53:52):
Yeah, I just want to expand on it because I
worked in Deep one for probably about two years and
that's when I got to know because we would go
and we would have drinks over at Club Dotta, just
right next to Rodeo, which I don't Yeah, we should have,
we should have talked about that.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
Well, it's on the schedule, let's talk about.

Speaker 4 (54:13):
Let's talk about it and let's see what. Let's see
how two weeks go by, because it's just the real
interesting We need to talk yeah exactly. But going back
to mister Bob met him, and I mean, you don't
really meet him, but you do, you do, because I'm
not going to get into the story. There is a
documentary on Amazon about it. Really, yes, it's called My

(54:34):
Name is Bob? And but I met him in two
thousand and six, two thousand and seven when I was
bartending it Daddy Jacks.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
Oh what was that? What was that place about? Now?

Speaker 4 (54:48):
The Daddy Jacks was actually a fine dining restaurant keep
a long time ago. So I met him when we
would go to Data for drinks after work. And like
I said, you don't really meet him, but he would
walk around with a cassio or cork keyboard. I don't
know the brand, and he wouldn't really play it. He
just had it and he would kind of always usually

(55:11):
would wear sometimes a fedora, but he just always had
this keyboard. And he was basically a staple of deep Elm.
He would just walk from the exactly. He was kind
of like if you guys watched Cowboy games. He was
kind of like the crazy Ray was to the Cowboys.
Bob was the deep Elm and you had every now

(55:31):
and then you catch him. And I saw him one
time in Lois Greenville and a bartending friend that you
might know Spider knows. Kirk posted on his Facebook like
where he was just taking him for a ride, and
that was what people would do. He would they would
pick him up, they would take him for rides. And

(55:52):
you just watched out for Bob. Yeah, oh, Bob.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
He was a homeless or any thing?

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Right?

Speaker 4 (55:57):
No, okay, no, not at all. And that's the thing
I'm sure the documentary would told spanned about on it.
But there is one thing that after that documentary was made,
he would walk up to people and he would say
and I remember because I saw him, saw him, and
he would and I remember saying, Bob, how's it going, man?

Speaker 3 (56:19):
He's like good, good, He's like, have you seen my movie? Oh?
That's cool? And that was always.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
Good good?

Speaker 3 (56:27):
Have you seen my show?

Speaker 4 (56:29):
But I mean, yeah, I know, that's just a very
endearing I.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
Never met him. In fact, Spider text me when he
found the news and he goes, you remember keyboard, Bob.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (56:40):
I never, because I mean we were there.

Speaker 2 (56:42):
You were more of a daytime.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
Right guy. And in high school we went a couple
of times at night, you know, for a show or something.
But I was not there.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
Out there a lot.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
He probably didn't. I was a night time Henderson Knox
Henderson girl. Bob was like the Bruce Wayne A deep
Ellen basically, except without the money and the well here's.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
Your thing, here's the other thing. Like you would randomly
be driving through fair Park East Dallas deep Om during
the day whatever, and you'd probably seen him like sitting
on a park bench or bus stop something like that,
and you know you're just kind of like, well, there's Bob.
And what's funny is that, Like I feel like people
that were driving driving by and seeing him, I would

(57:23):
have to say, like, if you're a regular driver in
that area, like you live or work or I don't know,
frequent the area, I bet you either probably could ten
percent of the cars passing by probably knew who he was.

Speaker 3 (57:37):
Kind of like a radio man that what his name
is in New York Have you ever heard of that? Eric, No,
there's a guy who always walks around with a radio.
They call him radio Man. Every star knows him, and
when they shoot in New York, he's usually getting like
he was homeless at one point, not homeless anymore, and
he's always in like an old on those old movies,
like an old guy with kind of shorter has a
big beer and always has a radio, and he's in

(57:59):
a lot a lot of movies.

Speaker 5 (58:02):
Yeah, and then Naked Cowboy.

Speaker 4 (58:04):
Okay, well you know, but it's not but he's not
doing it for a damn gimmick.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
He was just not.

Speaker 4 (58:09):
He enjoyed sitting there like Bob. Although he's walking around
with a keyboard, he's not ever performing on the side
of the road, right.

Speaker 7 (58:16):
And he also never was charged to getting the show
or anything that people knew exactly who he was and
what he was about to do exactly.

Speaker 3 (58:23):
Like he would. Man. I remember one time I.

Speaker 4 (58:25):
Went to I went to a Chick Chick Chick show
and they played at Data and all of a sudden,
it was like, I'm just sitting there. It's a band,
you know, we'll talk about it later, but I don't
have to do that, but we'll roll this later. No,
But all of a sudden, it's like I'm sitting there
grooving like I'm at the bar. I grab a drink
and I turn around and then there's keyboard Bob with

(58:47):
this keyboard up like this, and he's just like in
rhythm with the music. That's cool and the lead singer
for Chick Chick Chick is a really really kind of
cool you know, works with the crowd and everything. He
was digging it and you know that what's the thing
about Bob? That should be that should be the name
of the documentary. That was the thing about Bob?

Speaker 3 (59:05):
Well, I think what about?

Speaker 2 (59:06):
What about?

Speaker 3 (59:08):
All right? Uh r p Bob and uh well, we're
taking two weeks off because next week was our off
week already, and then we have labored Labor Day. We're
taking that time. Show is good enough to warrant. Uh well,
hang on, the reason why we're off from Labor Day
is to honor my anniversary and we're taking a moment
of silence.

Speaker 6 (59:27):
Actually, we're going to take it out my birthday.
